 Chapter Prologue Part 1/3. From beyond the stars

    At the immortal realm in an unknown areasurrounded by uninhabited planets.Two beings were faced to face if anyone else of the immortal realm were present with shock they would cry out "Heavenly King Zhen Mo! and the other whose fame was not any smaller was known as "Demonic Monarch Chen Ye!. For those two were the greatest within the immortal realm and both wished to attain the title ofImmortal Sovereign however theyweren''t as arrogant to claim they had reached that level power as they were bothhalf a step into the realm ofImmortal Sovereign


    The two faced each other seemingly as if they were to combat each other at any moment the heavenly king shouted out with the force as if it could break down the surrounding planets"Chen Ye! Do you dare block my path? Our forces have been at peace for millennia''s of millennia''s do you wish now to start a war!?."In response The Demonic Monarch replied back with a shout not any quieter which seemingly shook the planets in fact even a hint of madness could be seen from within the eyes "Zhen Mo. do you take me for a fool? I to sense the pressure emanating from that body!"As they were talking a falling body could be seen up above and behind Chen Ye as well as a closing rift that the two immortals could not see as they were too fixated on each other.


    Both of them were waiting for each another to strike for an advantage and as Chen Ye was about to seemingly strike, shock appeared on Zhen Mo''s face as his faces was streaming with sweat as he tried to get his words together he exclaimed "Cou Cou Cou Could it be!???"


    Anyone would be shocked if the legendary Zhen Mo was in such great shock that he couldn''t even pronounce his words properly and Chen Ye was no such expection and as he to looked his eyes opened up to an unbelievable degree. It was a cultivation base that he wasn''t able to see through and a body in golden fire that his Immortal sense couldn''t see through and to his surprise it came from Beyond the stars! Immortals could traverse the stars with their near invinciblebodies and profoundtechniques but a place beyond the stars was somewhere they could only dream of!     It was at this point that both of them tried to get near the falling body but couldn''t get close to and they were both powerless to go near it and saw as it went quicker and quicker to a point they couldn''t even catch up to! They both knew at this both that the body had to be of an Immortal Sovereign or higher and knowing that they couldn''t catch up they decided to leave with sorrow on both their faces until they bothsaw a rift seemingly in which the body came falling out of appeartwo azure crystals which seemingly within had immense energy and not just that the energy did not seem to be of the Immortal realms and as this was happening through the rift could be seen someone watching over and then as the rift closed the one watching over withdrew with it. AsZhen Mo and Chen Ye both saw the crystals they both raced towards to get the crystals however both knew that they could only get one and escape with it and thus did so.


    In the midst of a mortal realm a young boy saw a comet coming down and believe for it to be a star and walked towards it deciding to follow it out of boredom. But if the two immortals from before were present they would know that this was the body which had the power of aImmortal Sovereignor higher!. As the body was falling down an archaic voice could be heard from the falling body as it quitely whispered "Where have i fallen to?"

 Chapter Prologue Part 2/3. Transformation

    Mortal Realm As the body was falling quicker and quicker a young mortal boy looked up and saw as it falled down quicker and quicker. The young mortal boy was chasing after the body however as he was chasing the body. The body once again whispered in an archaic voice "I am going down to quickly and theses flames are to powerful in order to survive i must abandon the corporeal body"


    This was unlike the Immortal realm as the strongest entities in the mortal realm were simply unable to sense his arrival of two factors. First being that as the body was falling in the Immortal realm it noticed the two immortals and decided to then try to wane its presence and aura in an attempt to hide itselfbut couldn''t hide the flames surrounding it. Second being that the body was falling down at an unbelievable speed and was in the shape of a comet and as its presence could not be sensed as it was a level to high for any beings including both mortal and Immortal.


    As the young mortal boy was running to the falling body he panted "Almost there"repeatedly as well as puffs of air. Luckily the body landed quite close and the corporeal body was incinerated if the body was not incinerated and in full force landed onto the ground then without doubt the entire mortal realm would''ve been destroyed due to the sheer impact and aftershock generated as well as the flames disappearing as soon as the body was incinerated and without so the flames would''ve then burnt the entire mortal realm.

    The falling body then thought to himself "Why.....How could this happen?? I reached that Realm!!! It was merely but a second but within such a second I saw everything!.... So what if I forcibly entered that Realm? I still entered it! I was so close....


    Within that single second I wrote a book with all the information I had, I saw thousands of different realms, I understood everything and I felt the power! Beyond Immortal Sovereign! I was half a step into the next realm... It appears my soul is barely considered to be within the level after Immortal Sovereign... But not my body?     As the boy came to see where the body landed all he saw were a few ashes and the mortal boy was clearly disappointed and in a sad tone said "Where is it? I clearly saw a shooting star!? maybe dad was right i am imagining to many things" As soon as he finished talking unknown to him the spirit of the body whispered once again instead this time in a way which could be clearly heard that he was hurt yet still in an archaic voice"I must quickly find a host body quickly while my spirit can survive by itself it would be best to stabilise myself first!"As he was talking to himself he looked upon the young mortal boy and said in a dismissive tone "This childhas never cultivated before.... Nor has he any good appitudes at best his talents are second rate..."


    The Spirit then looked to the sky and laughed "Ahahaha well be it this child''s lucky day allow for me to change your destiny for you"The spirit decided to enter into the child''s body and for the meanwhile hibernate until the right time. As the spirit was entering into the child''s body the child was feeling intensely refreshed and didn''t know what was happening and exclaimed "What''s happening?? Why is my body feeling strange? Its as if its refreshed... mmm well I''d better go back home now mom and dad are probably worrying about me"


    The child then ran off and without notice was considerably faster then before and less tired and within his dantian a small sea of qi could be seen and this qi was generated by normally by the land which was fluctuating with qi of dead experts. Among the sea of qi an figure could be seen talking to himself about "As i expected his talent is at best so so and his appitudes with all the elements except for wind is mediocre...."


    In the distance at a town near the outskirts of a small city a voice could be heard "Ye''er!, Ye''er!

 Chapter Prologue Part 3/3 Knowledge of Cultivation

    Within a certain Mortal World lied five continents.... One of which was the weakest and was named the Black Serpent Continent and at such an Continent was an powerful Empire called the Zhenren Empire which ruled over several countries one of which was the Ven Country of the Great ThreeSovereignty''sof the Empire. There was a certain 3rd ClassCity and near that city was a cave filled with great energy.... much more than what would be expected of such a small city and near a somewhat smallwooden house a voice was being yelled....


    "Ye''er!, Ye''er!" was being continuously called outside a silent wooden house and the name Ye''er was the name of Zhou Ye the young mortal boy whom''s body the spirit entered. His name was being continuously called out by his mother as he was not seen yet and as Zhou Ye got home his parents had furious expressions to which the father shouted out with furious anger "Where have you been! you''ve been gone for several hours now!!!!"


    Yet at the same time he had a few tears falling down his scarred faceand hugged Zhou Ye. Zhou Ye''s father had a strong and bulky body however lacked one arm which was lost due to a beast attack however the loss of the arm seemed to only make him seem more frighteninghis father was wearing ragged light brown greyish clothes which peasants or the working class would usually wear.


    Zhou Ye''s mother wore an robe coloured light blue which whilst wasn''t extravagant did not emmit the sense that she was of the lower class. Her face was quite beautiful and she was of the young age of 30 with long silky black hair and the father had a slightly rugged face and seemingly to Zhou Ye "Soul piercing eyes" as well as black hair pointy hair which Zhou Ye never knew why his father had pointy hair and was also gradually losing hair likely due to the stress caused by Zhou Ye which Zhou Ye never knew about despite knowing his father was young at 34.


    Zhou Ye''s father usually grew angry as he was losing hair at such a young age as most normal people like him would live to 200 at most and 150 at least and even those at the age of 150 still had hair thinking about this simply made Zhou Ye''s father even more stressful though. Zhou Ye''s father thought to himself "UHHH i m only 34 and already losing hair not even my great grandfather has lost hair yet..." Zhou Ye''s great great grandfather was at the age of 154 which was considered a little old one could not forget that marriage and birth usually happened in a young age infact many of Zhou Ye''s friends had living great great great grandfathers and mothers the rest that didn''t had usually met their ends by beasts in the past or unfortunate circumstances. (Zhou Ye''s family aren''t normal mortals but not cultivators)


    Zhou Ye replied in "Uhhh i saw a falling star or something and i followed it?" His father grew extremely angry until Zhou Ye''s mother told him to stop "Its ok Honey it just matters that he''s back now"Zhou Ye calmed down after hearing this and quickly ran to this room and lied down on what seemed to be a bed and closed his eyes thinking of what happenned and thought to himself "I''m not tired like i usually am?."


    As Zhou Ye lied down and closed his eyes he started to dream and as he was dreaming he saw a figure in loose white robeswith embroidered golden stripes going down. As Zhou Ye tried to look he saw the space around it distorting and slowly more and more of the mysterious figure with white robes became apparent.


    He had seemingly to Zhou Ye real "soul piercing eyes" which he thought that could really see right through his soul. The figure had slightly long crooked white hair going up as well as an long white beard which reached almost all the way to his chest. The figure was sitting on a golden and silver throne and looked to Zhou Ye as if it was an Emperor looking down on a peasant and the distortions became more and more clearer slowly. The figure however if looked closely also looked severely weakened as he had blood on his mouth as if he coughed it out however this did not at all weaken his majestic presence in front of Zhou Ye.


    In response Zhou Ye seemed to bow unwillingly as the force as compelling him to do so and was just about to speak before the figure spoke in an archaic voice "What... is your name?". If Zhou Ye wasn''t to shocked he could hear that the voice whilst containing great majesty and elegance was very quiet and sounded weak however Zhou Ye wasn''t able to tell of course. Zhou Ye then tried to reply with "Zho....". HoweverZhou Ye was having trouble saying his name and barely managed to get his courage up and said "Zhou Ye..... Senior"


    The figure introduced himself as Tang Xuan the celestial emperor of one of the Immortal realms in a quiet and archaic voice "My name? How strange.. Well it is normal for a realm like this.. In the past I was known as the Celestial Emperor of an Immortal Realm and I just so happened to "past" my tribulation and become a Deity... But my body was a step to far and i forcibly entered such a stage... Well it doesn''t matter thats all in the past my name is Tang Xuan..". Zhou Ye replied and asked "What is an immortal realm?"Zhou Ye knew what an Immortal meant and had either less or more knowledge of what a realm meant but was curious what he meant by one of any immortal realms.The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.


    Tang Xuan remembering that Zhou Ye was only mortal decided to explain the system of worlds to him "Before i tell you i must tell you of the mortal realms since you are an mortal without any cultivation experience allow for me to enlighten you at the bottom are mortals but do you know what is after mortals?" Zhou Ye replied in a somewhat scared voice "No.. senior...." Tang Xuan then explained "After mortal is the stage called Spirit Foundation in which one can channel the power of the world and heavens onto themselves strengthening their fleshly body, within Spirit foundation lies several powers such as Spirit Disciple, Spirit Practitoner, Spirit Master, Spirit Lord and Spirit Fusioni can see you are already nearingSpirit Disciple..." Zhou Ye replied with a look of confusion and asked "Senior... i have never cultivated before though? How could i be near?


    Tang Xuan replied whilst having a slightly grevious expression and said "By this energy fluctation i can sense that a war happened here once and it was only that of the spirit foundation participated in and that many spirit masters died perhaps even a pseduo soul cultivator fell because of the death it was a great benefit to the land especially since noone seems to try have claimed the energy here yet likely because it is to weak... or noone wields the power to?"


    "After Spirit is Soul Emergencewhich allows for the Soul to be directly strengthened allowing you to project Soul power and defeat opponents with a thought as well as emitting out soul strands this is split into Soul, Great Soul, Grand soul, Soul King and Soul Emperor all stages can also be split into initial, middle, late, peak, pseudo, half-step" For the time being this is all you need to know there are but one more stage before the afamed immortal stage" Zhou Ye replied with a face wanting to learn as he only knew that there were mortals and immortals he also had anslightly scared expression "Uhh senior you still have not answered my question of what is an immortal realm and what is the immortal stage?"


    (Initial Mid, late and peak are as the term suggests Pseudo means to have techniques simmilar to that for example a pseudo Soul cultivator can project weak soul power and they''re techniques are limited to only the weakest that soul cultivators can do and Half step soul means that they can employ almost all except the most powerful techniques)


    Tang Xuan with a slightly angry expression replied "The immortal realm is an place where people are born as Spirit Disciples and naturally enter into Soul stage as adults and as the name suggests it is the realm of immortals where they dwell, the immortal stage is the stage in which one can traverse the stars I was once but a step short of the realm above the immortalsalas i couldn''t defeat the tribulation but unlike those detached immortals who can still ascend after failing i am still a half-step perhaps i can go higher but i can never truly reach the next realm and my physical body will take to long to reconstruct as well as if i do so manage to reconstruct my body i will immediately be targetted by tribulation once more.... thus so i have decided to have you inherit my legacy"As Tang Xuan told Zhou Ye all this he thought to himself "I have had many disciples before him all praciticing Origin.. i hope that they will help him if i cannot... my soul is far to weak for any advances at this point"


    Tang Xuan knew however his soul would be fine as he was at the last stage of the tribulation which was divine fire theoretically he had actually in a way passed the tribulation as he truly seperated his soul and body making them unrelated to each other leading to save himself howeverthere he could no longer progress after peak half-step as his soul was damaged to the point that it could no longer progress to the new stage unless an extremely powerful treasure was used. Tang Xuan also knew that he was stuck to the mortal child''s body as he completed a fully attachment meaning that it was two souls living in one body as well as making precautions that he doesn''t accidently absorb or damage Zhou Ye''s soul. If Tang Xuan was to unapply himself to Zhou Ye then it would rather take far to long and it would be a hit to his already low soul power.


    Zhou Ye was frightened yet also joyous as he we would embarken on a journey to become an immortal and exclaimed and kneeled"many thanks senior!" Tang Xuan replied with a slightly angry expression and shouted "You have a horrible apptitude its going to take some training and time for you to actually start!" Zhou Ye was currently at that age of 10 and one month however was quite tall at around 155cm as even Mortals could slightly touch the earth and heaven energy through going to cities or places with a thick spiritual energy fluctuating as well being quite knowledgeable as some countries fiercly encourage education even at villages.


    As Zhou Ye was thinking to himself about how is life was going to change, Tang Xuan let out a coughful of blood and thought to himself "Who knows how much longer i can last..."

 Chapter 1. 3 Months

    One of the Mortal Realms:BlackSerpent Continent: Zhenren Empire: Ven Country: 3rd Class City:Mountain Outskirts


    After 3 months


    At the outskirts of a mountain a young able bodied child could be seen with dark black hair and bright blue eyes and a slightly handsome face running with 350jin weights (175kg i find it easier this way and kg sounds weired because i see Jin to many times sorry!) all together strapped around his legs, back and arms as he ran quickly through the terrain avoiding tree by tree as well as sometimes hitting a few trees and falling down the cliffs. Zhou Ye''s strength was up to the point where he could lift up 350 jin however this was to see how swift and smart Zhou Ye could be at the same time.


    This youth was none other than Zhou Ye who was bickering with Tang Xuan saying that the training was unfair as well was thinking to himself "How am i meant to do this training!... Hey is he smiling?...."Tang Xuan could be seen with a wide smile as if he was being amused by all this and saw how fustrated Zhou Ye looked and said "Calm down its just simple training nothing hard or anything"


    As Tang Xuan was saying these things he thought to himself "Ahahaha he looks quite fustrated anyway its almost time to teach him my cultivation method"Zhou Ye was amazed he had never guessed that Tang Xuan would completely ignore his sufferying he thought he would atleast say some reassuring words but he knew he couldn''t do anything and so had to continue on.


    Tang Xuan all of sudden said"You see that mountain up there?" Tang Xuan was pointing to a mountain several miles away Zhou Ye would normally never be able to see it however Tang Xuan shared visionwith Zhou Ye to also see the mountain.


    Zhou ye replied with an shocked tone and said "Master... do you mean that mountain all the way up there?" Tang Xuan had a grin on his face and replied "What other mountain could i mean?Dear disciple?" To Zhou Ye the heights of the mountain was great and big and Zhou Ye could be considered to be able to break through to the Spirit Disciple realm at any time however was told to wait for the right moment by Tang Xuan.


    Zhou Yethen resigned himself to his fate and began to walk to the mountain slowly and only then realised how far the mountain actually was and complained "Master... may i please take off these weights?.."You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author.


    Regardless even without the weights the journey would take quite some time in reply Tang Xuan replied with a grin and said "Sorry Dear Disciple you need the training" When Tang Xuan was continuously using the phrase "Dear Disciple" it gotZhou Ye quite angry as in his opinion his master didn''t seem like he care about him at all!


    After a few hours Zhou Ye managed to climb to the top and luckily managed to avoid any non-mortal beasts due to Tang Xuan guiding him and Tang Xuan then told him to sit down and said "Its time for you to break through into Spirit Disciple" as he did Zhou Ye''s body emmited a slight blue light meaning that he succesfully went into the stage of Spirit Disciple and inside his dantian a sea of qi could be getting bigger and bigger and Zhou Ye''s body could be seen getting more robust and qicould be seen going through his veins strengthening them and making his body easier to control(normal veins) as the first step into cultivation there was were no tribulations as they were only present for breaking into new realms. (Spirit-soul and etc.)


    At this point the skies suddenly grew dark and Tang Xuan started to look up and created a spirit body and talk to Zhou Ye face to face by and said "Its time for you to learn your first cultivation method, naturally you will learn mine the "Celestial Origin" which allows you to fully use the power of heavens unlike others which defy them"Celestial Origin was different to other cultivation methods instead of defying the heavens they became one with the heavens which also meant the tribulations were differents.


    Tang Xuan then sat down on some rubble and explained how Celestial origin worked "Celestial Origin is the method of forming oneselves with the heavens and when you undergo tribulation you will not undergo that of heaven''s but that of hell''s". Tang Xuan then started to laugh a bit and said "Ahahaha all those genius''s who are proclaimed as son/daughter''s of heavens will naturally have no sway over youonce you are the heavens themselves"


    Zhou Ye then replied with a confused look "What does it mean to become one with the heavens?" Tang Xuan then lightly hit Zhou Ye''s head and replied in a mocking tone "Were you listening or not? You will be formed of the heavens and the heavens judgement will not effect you as heaven does not punish its own and rather you will face the tribulation of hell where heaven will reward you for fighting for it"


    If you can''t understand it then this is what it means: A body formed by the heavens imagine that if your sentient water you can''t be drowned therefore a body of heaven (atleast in this fiction) can''t be harmed or targetted by tribulation thus so instead they get hell tribulation.


    Like the golden fire from before that was from hell instead of heaven. If you pass hell''s tribulation you get rewarded by heaven and about son/daugters of heavens it means they''re arrogant to call themselves that and by no sway it means that they''re not really worth anything to heaven itself. Imagine Zhou Ye is technichally part of heaven and they''re under heaven

 Chapter 2. Celestial Origin

    One of the Mortal Realms:BlackSerpent Continent: Zhenren Empire: Ven Country: Top of a tall mountain


    On the top of the mountain could be seen a young boy that was Zhou Ye looking the same as before however with considerable sweat on his face and a sense of tiredness and a person only he could see that was Tang Xuan unless personally allowed for them to also see. Tang Xuan was telling Zhou Ye how to use Celestial Origin and started with "Since i am here i can help you create your heavens condense your sea of qi into a cloud and then imagine lightning"


    Zhou Ye did as he was told and all of a sudden a shock sensation came to him and all of a sudden lightning could be seen within his dantian striking his sea of qi. As this was happening a powerful pressure belonging to the Soul Emergence realm could be sensed however was no concern to that of Tang Xuan thus ignored.


    Zhou Ye looked worried and in little pain however was still curious and asked "Master what is this sensation?" Tang Xuan looked to the sky then lightning came from the sky and if anyone noticed they would know this was tribulation lightning Tang Xuan wished to create greater lightning to make fun of Zhou Ye but knew that using to much of his Soul power would attract the next stage of his tribulation which attacked the soul.


    Tang Xuan smiled and replied "You have attained the power of divine lightning while this is the weakest stage and in small amounts it will now generate in your body over time"


    Tang Xuan before taking a deep breath then said "Now it is time to form the divine body gather the cloud and put it in the shape of a body and then it will merge with your body" Zhou Ye did as he was told and his body slowly merged with that of the clouds with his new body brimming with light blue aura and as he did lightning started to vibrate itself on his body in an attempt on attacking but eventually gave up seeing the body as indistinguishable. (Clouds act as the body and lightning acts as the bones and etc.)


    However should any other cultviator attempt to wield the power of the heavens then in rage heaven in their prideand dignity would send down lightning to rain down against whomever used it. However Zhou Ye practiced Celestial Origin making his body identical to those of heaven rendering him safe from heaven''s judgement. (The lightning will avoid him and won''t affect him unless its special)


    Zhou Ye then stood up and looked to the sky and felt accomplished and said "Master I did it!!!" Tang Xuan thought to himself "Foolish child there will be many dangerous tribulations that you will face alone in the future so you''d best not get cocky now" Tang Xuan hit Zhou Ye in the head and said "This is just the start i want you to now coninuously train in this art and luckily you will not face any tribulation until you pass Grand Soul but don''t think you can rest easy this is just the start of training"If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent.     Zhou Ye looked back and looked quite saddened thinking that training would be a bit easier now but to learn it was just the start even though he went to spirit disciple his training would still be hard unknown to him though was because of celestial origin his power would now be closer to that of Spirit Practioner then disiciple.


    Another 3 months had passed and Zhou Ye face looked to a even more handsome standard due to Tang Xuan''s "alterations" and was wearing a slightly loose black robe and his hair had grown slightly longer and his eyes could be seen to be looking somewhat as if they had an evil intent and an aura of late stage Spirit Disciple could be felt from Zhou Ye however Zhou Ye could at any time break through to half-step Tang Xuan told him not to saying that his foundation would not be sturdy enough then.


    As well throughout the months passed Zhou Ye learnt news about a traitor of the Zhenren Empire who stole a soul treasure appearing at Ven Country whose cultivation was at Soul Emergence!


    A soul rank cultivator could be considered to be a high level figure in the Zhenren Empire and in the entire Black Serpent Continent the peak was an enlightened being one realm above soul and there was only one of those elightened beings on the entire continent and he was only at the initial stage. The Grand Soul was clearly one of the Zhenren empire''s greatest cultivators since he was at such a high cultivation and was sent to collect a soul treasure. (soul treasure means soul emergence treasure same with spirit and etc.)


    Zhou Ye looked like this as Tang Xuan put him in this image reminding Tang Xuan of his pastZhou Ye looked to the sky as it was getting dark and just realised now that it was dark and thought to himself it was now dark "mmm hey wait a minute when did the skies get so dark? how long have i been out here for?"


    Zhou Ye thought for himself to have taken to long however unbeknownst to himself Tang Xuan knew that these dark skies were caused not by time but the arrival of a Grand Soul of the Zhenren Empire arriving at Ven Country upon news of the traitor arriving there.


    The dark skies were the result of soul projections being used to search the landscape and as they were used the Grand Soul attempted to search at a specific area which was where Zhou Ye was at currently and found himself unable to see through which caused him to think that the traitor was hiding there since the treasure was a soul treasure capable of hiding himself.


    Tang Xuan felt the pressure coming closer and closer then quickly rushed and told Zhou Ye "Zhou Ye! quickly let me control your body for a while, a Grand Soul is coming near!" Zhou Ye was quick to react and allowed for it to happen but it was a given that Tang Xuan could easily take control of the body but felt it was not the right thing to do without his permission.


    As Tang Xuan was taking control Zhou Ye''s aura suddenly rose to that of an Enlightened being''s however whilst this was happening Zhou Ye''s body was in great pain and in fact slowly exuding the aura outside of the body making it more and more evident (Imagine crumbling lines and energy going outside of it) and as the Grand Soul cultivator was coming closer he saw upon the rising aura and grew a little closer and then stopped as he saw Zhou Ye levitating above the air. A shock of disbelief could be seen on the Grand Soul''s cultivator as well as a sense of fear.

    It was completely outside of the time frame he predicted he thought he would atleaast remain safe for the next few years Tang Xuan thought to himself as his spirit body shook his head and thought "Dammit!!     Tang Xuan remained calm and replied "As expected... you can''t... well if you could you''d notice that it is an azure flame and it is a soul tribulation.... one that i cannot at this current state face.. thus so your time is limited to use my power.. settle this quickly i will return soon..." As this happening Tang Xuan disappeared all of a sudden however as he disappeared he put down a strand of spirit power then a soul clone of Tang Xuan appeared. Hearing this Yuan Li''s face grew to shock a Zhenren token proved one was giving support to another however this was not why he was shocked but why someone like Zhou Ye would have need for it.....


    Zhou Ye naturally as a citizen knew how the Zhenren empire worked they were one of the 3 supreme empires with dozens of kingdoms and countless general countries as well as due to the fact that the Zhenren empire was the most high-key albeit not the strongesthe only knew what a zhenren token due to the fact that from the lowest officials to the emperor all people that had either great political power or cultivation had one he had only seen one other zhenren token and that was from a travelling official who see who would be the new city lord of the city he lived in however the official was bribed and thus so no city lord was yet chosen as well as due to the stalemate between the two rivalling forces.


    Yuan Li knew that he couldn''t do anything against Zhou Ye at that stage and reluctantly agreed passing the token over and just before he was to leave he heard a voice telling him "stop for a minute..." this voice was clearly Zhou Ye and as it was spoken Yuan Li immediately stopped in his tracks and saw Zhou Ye opening his mouth and saying "Follow me for now"

    Atthe 3rd class city he would usually go to was extremely desolate and in a desperate stalemate making none of them city lord however at the 3rd Class City where Zhou Ye was said to be a treasure which many families envied.


    Rusof was quite a famous city deemed was one of the cities that could potentially in the future be a Ruler Cityhowever it was currently burning due to a civil revolt.


    Within the burning city was a young boy at his age (10 and 7 months roughly)and a young girl at 13. He looked at them for a second and then noticed that they had incredible apptitudes of course to an englightened being, appitutes would not matter as Talent only bring as far as the peak of grand soul however in order to reach enlightenment there was only one way and that was enlightenment either by understanding the heavens or the hells and talent could not make up for that.


    The boy had a pure appitude for lightning in which Zhou Ye knew that if he was to learn celestial origin it would be a great favour to Tang Xuan as Zhou Ye didn''t have appitudes as great albeit Tang Xuan could change he didn''t want to make the journey to easy. The girl had a pure apptitude for water and ice and was known as a genius at Rosuf city however the boy was known as a piece of trash who couldn''t cultivate but the truth was that the boy had lightning which was an near impossible appitude to use unless one recieved help from a enlightened being.  Chapter 4. Returning back

    Zhou Ye then decided that they could like be taught Celestial Origin or atleast the body and decided to intervene and as he was going down he saw the two he slowly flew down and the Spirit practicioners immediately stopped as they saw someone flying down and in immediate reply with scared voices they shouted "Hold! Senior while you are an elightened can you atleast give face to the Zhenren Empire.....?!"


    It could be said that whilst enlightened beings were capable of defeating dozens of soul emperors even they had an limited life span and such even they would eventually crumble to dust and disappear after they''re life span ended and afterall there was another enlightened being on the Black Serpent Continent


    However they grew even more scared when they saw Yuan Li saying "Senior... are these people being in your way?" Yuan Li was quite the well known face as he was usually sent on important missions for the empire and finished all of them quick time and accuracy. The two kids had fainted by the time Zhou Ye fell down only seeing a figure coming down.

Once they are Spirit Master i will reward you and take them on as my disciples as for there homes send them to Ven Country and the 3rd Class city near the mountains without a citylord ... do not tell them of your status nor of mine but have them live near a family with the surname Zhou the names of themare Zhou Li and Zhou Shan." Yuan Li nodded in obedience and just before he took the two away Zhou Ye stopped him and said "Have them take on my surname "Ye". Yuan Li then immediately disappeared into thin air


    Zhou Ye then quickly flew the the heart of the Zhenren Empire one of the 8 great kingdoms the Mo Overlordship and its Capital Mo Domainwhere the council of elders where situated as he was flying there he could hear an old voice saying "It would be best to find Liu Yan quickly though he''s only at initial Soul with his treasure he may be a bit of trouble for Yuan Li to find him..."''


    An slightly younger voice coming from someone seeming to be middle aged saying a quite loud voice "Nonsense! Yuan Li shouldn''t have that much trouble we should need to wait a day or so at most" Whilst the members of the council mainly consisted of Great souls and a few Grand souls their seniority was far higher than Yuan Li.


    Zhou Ye was now above the meeting place of the council and slowly flew down and as he did an extremely old Soul Emperor who seemed that he could barely stay alive was in fact the strongest council memberquietly said "It appears we have an esteemed guest?" Zhou Ye could be seen flying down in which caused quite the shock on the council and of course his face was distorted due to his aura and then Zhou Ye quietly said "Greetings, fellow cultivators... my name is Ye Zhou and i have simply borrowed Yuan Li for sometime....and i would hope you keep this meeting a secret" As he did the space distorted and Zhou Ye disappeared in to thin air.

Yuan Li then laughed as well before shortly saying goodbye and took both the two children however as he did the two children seemingly recognised Zhou Ye from before when he came flying down and asked Yuan Li "Uncle... can we please go next door?? I want to talk to our neighbours!"


    Yuan Li then smiled and let them go and as he did he quickly disapppeared into thin air into a council room. Within the council room were several shocked faces all of which sweating intensely as well as discussing about how to respond to said situation. If Zhou Ye was there he would notice it was Zhenren councils meeting place.


    The two children came to Zhou Ye and quickly introduced themselves with the girl starting first saying "hi! I''m Ye Yin! and i m 13 this year!" On Rosuf Yin''s face could be seen a bright smile and then her brother came and said "Uhh.. I''m RosufCheng and 11 or something near i think? nice to meet you!" As "Ye" Yin heard this she hit "Ye" Chen on the head and whispered"Don''t you remember what uncle told us..." "Ye" Cheng then remembered what Yuan Li previously told him and told Zhou Ye "Uhh i mean i m Ye Cheng and i''m 11!"

 Chapter 5. Slight changes/Council (You can skip this because its information is only a bit relevant)

    Zhenren Empire, Mo Overlordship, Mo Domain/Capital, Council Room


    In the council room sat down 12 members with each one of them atleast at Initial Soul however only 4of the 12could be really considered powerhouses in the Empire. Five of which were at initial souls and where known for there wisdom and one of which was a pill alchemist capable of creating 45% effectiveness pills. whilst the rest could at best do 25%. (pills are graded by 1-100% effectiveness only considering pills below immortal stage).


    If they were of higher cultivation then they would be able toproduce higher level pills however for them to create pills for themselves would take to long as they would give the pills more to the new generation to ensure the empire''s vibrant young generation to work hard. The other seven believed more of increasing their cultivation as well as them spending a large amount of their time already on cultivation instead of pill-making it would be better for them to continue their current path.


    The were also 3 more in which they were all Great Souls and were known for their seniority in which they were older and had more power than the Emperor as the Emperor was usually just a cultivator of the royal family and most of the power came from retired Emperors whom managed to get themselves within a high realmof cultivation. These retired empires with great cultivations were known as Zhenren Ancestors! They had to atleast be Grand Soul and there had only been at most a hand''s worth and only one was currently living at the time.


    As for the remaining 4 there were two Grand Souls both at middle stage other than them was a Soul King and this is was none other than the Zhenren Ancestor! of current day whose descendants were the Emperors, princes, princesses and great kings the ancestor''s name was Zhenren Ling and he was at the age of 3773 which was near his lifespan limit of 4000 however his descendants were merely the same as always just focusing on government studies instead of cultivation this lead to a great anguish on Zhenren Ling''s heart as he saw his descendants die due to age whilst he lived on through the years as generation and generation passed he saw the rise of genius after another genius as well as their falls. However most of all not a single genius to his liking appeared. In the past one of his descendants were a genius however he commited great crimes which lead to oceans and seas of blood at the Empire causing great turmoil in which Zhenren Ling personally killed his own descendant!

    As Zhenren Ling thought of this he seemed to have forgotten all about the Ye Zhou figure and then disappeared into thin air to think about his family as he usually would do.     The Old man was none other than Yuan Zen the one and only Soul Emperor of the Zhenren Empire and he was the ancestor of Yuan Li by an untold number of generations he was at the age of 7876 and he was nearing his lifespan limit of 8000 and due to that he didn''t have that much to fear knowing he would die anyway he would do what he could and "Ye Zhou''s" appearance was of somewhat surprise to him.


    Yuan Zen had just about completed everything he had wanted to do, of course he wanted to reach a higher cultivation realm but he knew that he was far to old to advance another realm so that was not on his mind. On his mind was really to make sure his family lineage continued for countless generations infact if he tried it wouldn''t be foolish to say he could take over the Zhenren Empire in an day or less however he was not that type of person as he was helped by Zhenren Ling''s ancestor before and because of that felt an immense amount of gratitude being owed towards them.


    Even if Yuan Zen however did take over there would be many people whom all wished to go against and in the Zhenren Empire there were countless amounts of people in fact even in an ordinary general country (Empire is biggest then Kingdom and finally General Country) there would usually be around millions toten million people within. Most of these people lived in the lands of the Zhenren Empire thus therefore after a few generations they would naturally be patriotic for their own empire after living their for a long time.


    All of a sudden near the gate of Mo Domain Yuan Li appeared it had clearly been some time for him to travel and luckily he had a Soul treasure to help him travel otherwise it might have taken even a few days.

 Chapter 6. Coming of Age Ceremony (One)

    At the mountainous outskirts of the 3rd class city where Zhou Ye lived there was the Coming of Age Ceremony happening at a certain village, this was an event happening every year and this was for people at age of 10-12. There were three ceremonies in which the first was 5-6 years of age symbolising basic potential and what they would study on and the other being 10-12 where one wouldstart training then at 16-18 one would be officialy an adult and be given their job.


    It had been a few months since all the events from before and now Zhou Ye had turned 11 and he was walking to a small house near his own and the house he was walking to was none other then were the brother and sister duo Ye Cheng and Ye Yin lived (respectively). Yuan Li would only come from time to time to try and help the two cultivate. Zhou Ye was currently at late stage Spirit Disciple his status could be considered somewhat important where they lived and he would definitely qualify as a genius at almost any other places below a Domain. Places like a Domainor above he couldn''t really be considered that important even as a young child genius. Perhaps in a province he might be considered somewhat a genius


    Zhou Ye''s foundation was rock solid and at this current time he was sitting with his eyes closed at a mountain and lightning came down from the skies striking it down time by time at its very peak causing the attention of a few people to notice the lightning then moving away. There was also the the Liang Family which was actually a branch from the main family which existed at the Liang Country which was called the Liang Clan with a Soul Cultivator leading them! Other than the head there were also a few initial Spirit Practitioners and two middle Spirit Masters. Because of that Zhou Ye''s Spirit disciple could be considered someone else''s Spirit Practitioner stage.


    Zhou Ye was heading to now was none other than his home and two people near it could be seen and those two were Ye Yin and Ye Cheng who were waiting for them and talking to each other Ye Cheng at that time seemed and looked very boredand said with a lousy voice "Wheres Elder brother Ye! I m so bored!!!..." Ye Yin then calmy said "If your so bored then study those cultivation methods Uncle taught you" Ye Cheng then immediately stopped looking bored and asked Ye Yin "Say do you ever think we''ll meet our benefactor?" Ye Cheng wasn''t that much intent on learning who saved him however Ye Yin was because she asked a few questions to Yuan Li whilst they were walking to the city and Yuan Li simply replied he was very powerful and that he would accept Ye Cheng and Ye Yin as his disciples once they reached Spirit Master stage.


    Ye Yin during that time aswell constantly asked more and more questions and Ye Cheng would occasionally say some things about the benefactor in order to get Ye Yin excited for a second. Ye Yin was very excited to one day meet her savior as she was running with Ye Cheng she could see a levitating figure and she knew what levitating meant and what type of people could do such a feat. Ye Yin wanted revenge against the rebellers and the former Rosuf City was now called Han City. Ye Yin knew without power she couldn''t do anything so she decided to train and keep on training until she could reach the stage enough to reclaim Rosuf City.

 Chapter 7. Coming of Age Ceremony (Two)

    The Coming of Age Ceremony for those at the ages of 10-12 was a test for those to join one of the Five sects the Golden Fire Sect, The Yun Star Sect, The Rising Sun Sect, Origin Temple and Lightning Hall.


    These Five sects were the main sects of Ven Country however considering the entire Empire there were two sects which stood at the top and they were the Divine Zhenren Sect which people of Royal blood (General Country-Empire Royalty under the Empire) could enter into.


    As well as theVenerable Yuan Sect known for having most of the heroes of the Empire coming from the sect thus earning them the name of venerable.


    If one was to fail to join the sect after the age of 12 then they would have to join outside the normal means such as doing a test, getting someone to recommend you or having someone invite you into the sect.


    Whilst it was possible to join one the five sects by other than at a Coming of Age Ceremony doing so at the Ceremony would be the best way as the sect will have a greater degree of trust if one did join by the Coming of Age Ceremony as the Sect would have almost complete information about the person and their life to see if they or there family had ever had any past grievousness with anyone in their sect already.


    The Golden Fire Sect was known for the second strongest and having predominantly fire cultivators and a secret art allowing for them to emit golden flames which was especially useful in the process of purifying and defeating demon spirits or demonic monsters and the alike.


    Their sect head was said to be at Peak Spirit Fusion and had tried to break through to Soul several times however failed once again and again. They were a Titanium power and had a Domain at Ven Country near the Capital called Ven Domain.


    The Yun Star Sect was the strongest Sect and its leader was a Soul cultivator! They were an Obsidian power (country power) and had owned a country called the Yun Country far away from the Ven Country.


    After onebecame an Inner member of the sect they could relocate to the Yun Country to become a Outer member after all they could not allow for just anyone to join their sect so easily... At the branch at Ven Country the leader was a Late Spirit Fusion and their special arts were divinity arts which allowed them to see what the enemy would do.


    The Yun Star Sect naturally were not able to create such an art rather their Soul cultivator found it in an random cave and cultivated it then spread it around to only his sect members and claimed he himself made it and that it would not be of use to those above the Soul Stage to try and avoid those cultivators who were above Soul to take it from him.


    The Rising Sun Sect was theweakest of the five sects and its leader was an Initial Spirit Fusion cultivator they had no special arts and had started just a few years ago they were the basic sect which had no unique heritage or the alike however what they did have was an abundance of disciples and elders in the sect but other than that they were no different to a normal sect.The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.


    Origin Temple was the 4th Strongest however their leader was also a Soul cultivator however he rarely made any interactions with anyone else if not any and the second strongest was only at Initial Spirit Fusion because of this they were the 4th strongest instead of the 2hd or 3rd Strongest.


    Origin Temple was an extremely exclusive sect which usually had a group of 5 genius''s who would always represent them however... the Ven tournament which happened every 3 years a sect could have about 5-10 people which made Origin Temple unable to fight within those unless the enemies themselves had 5 people in their group. Origin Temple had never lost a single duel in its history however Origin Temple never fought in any team fights strangely....


    Lightning Hall was the 3rd Strongest with their leader being a Peak Spirit Fusion whom in the past slew several Souls by summoning lightning from the skies and instantly killing them.


    However the lightning took an large time for it to all be ready and not just that their leader was a Refiner who could refine treasures even though refining treasures were something only Soul cultivators could do... Lightning Hall''s special heritage was the ability of calling down lightning and using it to refine their bodies, move as quick as lightning as well as in the process eventually be immune to weak lightning.


    If Zhou Ye had to choose one he would definitely choose to be in the lightning hall with Ye Cheng as Zhou Ye practiced Celestial Origin he could use the Lightning Hall''s cultivation as a cover on how he could use the lightning however he felt that if he did join the Lightning Hall it would be a waste as they predominantly had lightning based cultivation materials and methods whilst he had Celestial Origin making what the Lightning Hall had useless for him.


    It may of been somewhat more useful to Ye Cheng however since he whilst did know Celestial Origin by a soul strand inserted he wasn''t able to properly control it and Lightning Hall could help him in such a thing.


    The Coming of Age Ceremony was done by three tests the first one was mental capacity and how strong the will of the person was and after that was the potential they had and finally the combat experience or combat they were able to do.


    Spiritual capacity showed the maturity and understanding of how the person was like if a Spirit Fusion had the same understandings as a Soul then they would be able to break through at any time they wanted.


    If not and the Spirit Fusion had the same understandings as a Great Soul then they could defeat even Soul cultivators and break through to Great Soulimmediately however this would be almost impossible as not just an understanding but the body would also have to be able to withstand the pressure that immediately appears from stepping into the Great Soul realm.


    Potential as the name implied was the most simple test simply just testing how much the potential the person had as well as their affinity to the elements as well as how the elements are distributed.


    Combat experience was a test based on how a person could do in real combat or how they''re combat skills we already at such as their cultivation bases. Whilst Zhou Ye''s cultivation of disciple may have been noticable at all places below Domain his ability of matching a Practitioner would be acclaimed in even some of the lower countries!


    Whilst this did not may seem like much it was definitely alot considering an entire country even if it was a low ranked country but this was actually more due to rather his age instead of skills. Afterall most genius''s who were at practitioner and master were 15-16 whilst the even greater ones were at general countries or perhaps even kingdoms.

 Chapter 8. Coming of Age Ceremony (Three)

    The day was bright and the sun was rising up high it was about a day after Zhou Ye came down from the mountain of course Zhou Ye could have left on this day however felt he should have tried to not get any attention especially with the Lightning Hall. In the distance could be seen the Golden Fire Sect, Yun Star Sect, Rising Sun Sect, Origin Temple and Lightning Hall they were side by side and travelling at an somewhat equal pace to the City.


    The amount of people coming from the five sects were definitely not small and were far bigger than what a 3rd Rate city would usually see. Only a Ruler city would enjoy this amount of people coming to the sect and this was because of the 3 families which lived at the 3rd Rate City all of them eyeing the Spirit Fusion energy. In truth only the upper echelons of the three families knew about the energy and not a single person of the five sects knew about the energy.


    Zhou Ye''s goal was to join Lightning Hall not because of the lightning but to help Ye Cheng. Several hours later passed and the five sects all entered the city it could be seen that the sect''s somewhat senior figures were present to see the new youth''s about joining the sect with most of the senior figures being at the Core elders and a large group of inner elders and inner disciples coming to the city. (Sects heirarchy:Sect Head, True Elder, True Disciple, Core Elder, Core Disciple, Inner Elder, Inner Disciple, Outer Elder and Outer Disciple).


    Zhou Ye was currently at his home where his mother Zhou Li and father Zhou Shan with Zhou Shan talking to him saying "Alright Ye''er for the past 2 years you haven''t done very well... nor very bad i hope you can do better this year". The truth was however Zhou Ye during his first year couldn''t do very wellbefore meeting Tang Xuan as he virtually knew nothing at that point of time.


    Zhou Ye then replied with "I''ll try my best! to get into one of the five sects!" despite the five sects being opened not all could join the sects easily and this was the last chance for Zhou Ye to easily join a sect in another year it would be immensely hard to do so. Once someone joined a sect if the sect was of a higher a level they would usually take an surname from the sect and if one joined the Yun Star sect they could use the name of Yun as their own surname however had to carry a medallion representing their level on the sect. Those born of the Yun Star''s royalty would be automatically put as Core disciples with the highest main branch as True disciples.


    As the five sects became closer a figure appeared next to Zhou Ye and this was Ye Cheng who said "Lets go! Elder brother Ye!" Zhou Ye nodded and then they both ran to a building and this building was none other than the City Hall! The City Hall had a size of a few houses and only the most important people were in the building with most of the testing being done outside.


    Zhou Ye and Ye Cheng both ran to outside and accidentally bumped into someone this caused Ye Cheng to fall on the ground and Zhou Ye''s eye met the person and this was Yan Mo and he was vibrating the strength of an middle Spirit Master and he was a True disciple of Lightning Hall. Yan Mo''s strength was closer to that of a Core Disciple however he was much younger then most Core disciples at the age of 16 and his father was a True Elder of the Lightning Hall which allowed for him to be a True Disciple.


    Yan Mo had an irritated look on his face however calmed down and disappeared after all Yan Mo wasn''t a fool knowing that it would be bad for him to create a scene at a location like that especially since there were people from the other sects also here and doing so would give him quite a bad reputation whilst not enough to do alot to him his father Yan Shen had strictly told him that there was a powerful expert at the city naturally Yan Shen wouldn''t know it was "Ye Zhou" but rather Yuan Li whom had brought two children with him Yan Shen got this information from the sect master and was the only reason he sent Yan Mo to the city.If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen.     Ye Cheng got back up from the ground and by the looks Yan Mo only looked at Zhou Ye before disappearing and this was somewhat true Yan Mo looked at Ye Cheng however couldn''t bother to remember his face however decided to remember Zhou Ye''s face to have a chance of having revenge soon.


    As Zhou Ye continued he found himself at the line for mental capacity and has he waited he heard people cheering "Jing Rong is truly the greatest genius of Origin Temple!" Jing Rong (she) was here for the same reason Yan Mo was to investige about Yuan Li. Others also shouted out "Wu Lin is the better genius!" Wu Lin (he) was apart of the Yun Star sect. Both Wu Lin and Jing Rong were at the stage of late Spirit Master infact Yan Mo, Jiang Rong and Wu Lin were apart of the 3 strongest sects of the 5 if one didn''t include the Golden fire sect because whilst the sect headof the golden fire sect was a peak fusion cultivator both the Origin Temple and Yun Star Sect each had a soul cultivator with the Lightning Hall having a peak fusion that could kill soul cultivators however all of them had fell by his hand were all initial soul cultivators however nonetheless they were still soul cultivators. Both Jing Rong and Wu Lin were actually younger than even Yan Mo and were currently 15 years of age and were the both actually True Disciples...


    Zhou Ye ignored the cheers that he heard about them and continued on the first test was Spiritualcapacity and how powerful the person''s mental capacity was this meant how talented their mind was. This was to test their willpower and those of greater Spiritualcapacities were able to learn and decipher skills easily as well as easily becoming a pill maker or an refiner than those with weaker Spiritualcapacities. Since time immemorial countless genius''s came from common birth and this was not due to talent, fortunate event, powerful master or treasure instead it was because of Spiritualcapacity...


    In the past of an mortal world a common birth (peasant) genius had an immense Spiritualcapacity allowing the genius to learn virtually all skills without effort in short periods of time this genius reached the peak of the mortal world and disappearedall of a sudden when he opened a gate and this gate was known as the Immortal boundary gate and whomever had passed such a gate would feel their skin being reborn and their soul ascended to a new state called Divinity which showed the difference between immortal cultivators and real true immortals as having a Divinity allowed for immortals to recreate their bodies albeit not as strong as the original even if all aspects of the body was destroyed the body would be restored. She herself was here to seek advice from Yuan Li infact the young woman was Ven An and she was actually a slightly distant niece to Yuan Li who tried to get Yuan Li as her master to try become queen of the Ven country.


    All of a sudden the old man got upit seemed as all the energy in the entire Ven Country began to go near around him this man was none other than Li Deshi he was known for being virtuous and saved countless lives he was someone with seemingly limitless mental energy and he was a Great Soul who had the power to defeat even Grand Souls! One had to know that as one progressed the difference would become higher and higher and this was the case as the difference between mortal to spirit fusion could never amount to the difference between Spirit fusion and soul much less Great Soul and Grand Soul.

 Chapter 9. Coming of Age Ceremony (Four)

    As Li Deshi (old man from last chapter) was standing up he said to Ven An "mmm what immense Spiritual energy... hahaha even i can barely sense it but its all condensed into one spot" Ven An was confused as what was happening and asked "What do you mean? What are you talking about? Is it Yuan Li?!" Li Deshi was currently closing his eyes trying to find the person and this was Zhou Ye. As Ven An was being ignored she simply left while saying "humph!" and went to a big camp which was her own.


    However as he was trying to find the one with immense mental energy (Zhou Ye) a middle aged man came who was wearing majestic silver armour with one golden stripe and was apart of the Zhenren Grand Imperial forces and he was a Captain who was at Peak Spirit Master just a step away from Spirit Lord and he came to Li Deshi and yelled out in a deep and loudvoice while kneeling down "Great lord! I am Captain Aiguo of the Imperial Forces i am here to inform you that the Spiritualtest has started!" Li Deshi however ignored him and continued and thought to himself "I m close.. SO VERY CLOSE!" The captain once again said "Oh Great Lord My name is Captain Aiguo my apologises If my humble self has offended you but the Spiritualtest has started!"


    As he said this he was intensely sweating and Li Deshi was getting closer and closer and as he did Zhou Ye was walking near the Spiritualtest building slowly with Ye Cheng talking about how they should join Lightning Hall. Zhou Ye said "We should probably join Lightning Hall! i think its best for us!" Lightning Hall was near their city however The golden fire sect was closer but Zhou Ye disliked the Golden Fire Sect since it practiced fire and not lightning. Ye Cheng may of been 1 year older than Zhou Ye however he was not that mature as the only real battle he saw was the destruction of his home city by the Han Family. Because of this as well as that Zhou Ye was a bit taller and muscular than Ye Cheng he would usually listen to Zhou Ye and call him elder brother however Ye Yin knew the real age of Zhou Ye and called him simply brother instead.


    Zhou Ye however learnt alot from Tang Xuan since the past few months and by speculation he believed it would likely take the energy of a soul cultivator perhaps enlightened to reawaken Tang Xuan whilst this wasn''t alot what was truly needed was time to recover and the energy would only hasten the recovery of course this was only a speculation. The mental test building was getting more crowded and filled as Zhou Ye walked closer and Li Deshi thought to himself "Close, close, close just a bit closer... I can almost see his FIGURE! ahaha I''m so close to seeing who this new genius is! Not even that old fart of a Ven Country Ancestor could begin to compare! Perhaps that Teng Ancestor could.. But anyway this is likely latent talent and the figure is a young boy hehe I''ll surely take him as my disciple!"


    As Li Deshi was talking to himself his crooked smile turned to a happy smile and as he did the mental test building became almost completely full and soon 10 full minutes passed Aiguo would not dare to speak out since Li Deshi ignored him and seemed busy the mental test was supposed to be faciliated by both Ven An and Li Deshi however they were both not leaving their respective dwellings! Another 20 minutes passed and 10-12 year olds were getting quite bored and noisy the five sects were watching in the background waiting for Li Deshi to make his appearance however he didn''t whilst this was happening Ye Cheng said "Elder brother Ye where do you think the tester is? I m getting pretty bored here.." Ye Cheng started to sleep and Zhou Ye sighed and thought to himself "Where is he..."


    At this point one of the Inner elders of the Yun Star Sect demanded to know why the tester was not there yet and said "You! Captain of the Imperial Army tell me at once where that tester is!?" The elder was able to tell that he was a captain as normal soldiers wore bronze armours whilst the elite normal soldiers worse bronzes with silver stripes with there being 1-3 stripes and Sergeants wore silver armours and the captains wore Silver armours with 1 golden stripe and those higher the generals who managed the mortal armies and spirit armies (Spirit cultivators only) wore golden armours with the highest having diamonds stripes ranging from 1-3 like bronze and silver. (Bronze, Striped 1-3 Silver, Silver, Striped 1-3 Gold, Gold, Striped 1-3 Diamond) The highest level within the army was a Great Soul however the only ones that actually went to battle were Spirit stage cultivators and they were hardened by battle as well as bandits which were allowed to exist as long as they didn''t destroy a province or pester a domain to try and give the army ways to test themselves.


    The Captain replied "This one''s name is Aiguo my apologies but the tester is currently busy.. he would like if he was not disturbed" The Captain dared not to disturb Li Deshi as he seemed busy whilst he thought that the Yun Star Sect was bigger if one compared who had his life in more hands it would be Li Deshi since Yun Star Sect lacked much power in Ven Country. The elder grew furious however calmed down and said "Then i myself will see him!" As he did the Captain did not stop him or rather he dared not to and slowly followed the elder.


    While this was all going on Zhou Ye was lieing down while watching Ye Cheng fast asleep however others will still very active Zhou Ye suddenly felt a chill and Li Deshi was thinking "FINALLY i can see the face slowly making shape at last i am going to see him!" Li Deshi was overjoyed and he came extremely close and started to get vety excited until he heard a voice which distrubed him this was none other than the elder who had asked where the tester was. The voice was loud and demanding and its words were "What is taking you so long? Whilst you are a tester do you not think this is bending the rules a bit?     Li Deshi''s quiet meditation was completely ruined and he was extremely angry and then he started to emit an aura and in the span of a few seconds the elder was on the floor coughing out mouthfuls of blood as this was happening Li Deshi said "How... dare you... I was so close" Li Deshi got his index finger and this thumb and put them up as if they were showing a distance (when you hold your hand up and you seperate your index finger and thumb usually its square shape to show a small amount of distance, time needed or something like that or imagine someone grabbing something very small with only the thumb and index finger and think that the small thing represents distance or time needed). Li Deshi in rage said "THIS CLOSE" the words aloned crushed the elder and luckily Li Deshi was able to see a bit of the face of Zhou Ye if not than the elder would likely of been dead by now.


    The elder replied "My greatest apologies i was not aware that you were busy senior! If i had known than i truly wouldn''t have done what i have just did even if i was 1000 times more courageous..." Li Deshi''s rage was still there infact it got a bit visible on his face as his veins were showing and he said "Tell noone about this matter now disappear from my sight!" The elder then limped away and as he did Li Deshi followed him and came onto the large numbers of youth''s then said "Welcome.. I am this year''s tester unfortunately due to an event i was a bit late.. but now we can start!" Li Deshi wasn''t completely angry as he could see part of Zhou Ye''s face and was confident he would find him now.


    As he said this 10 people appeared and then Li Deshi continued and said "These people will test you with a crystal ball this crystal orb is something that noone on the continent can alter!" As he said this all the youth''s got amazed and this was a fact about the crystal ball it was based off an immortal artifact however the more important thing was the material it was made of it was none other than Century Wood and a Milennium Gem stone shard these two materials were able to sense the potential of the person as they carried with them the lowest part of an Immortal Way. An Immortal Way was the way immortals took it could be from the Immortal way of wind to the next tier which was air as well as the Immortal way of flame to the next tier of Fire. The material''s immortal way was the immortal way of Destiny and also Fate with little parts of the lowest ways choice. From the beginning was the SupremeWill then Divine Will which manifested into Divine Way and onto Primordial Will and Primordial Way and lower to True Will and TrueWay and the lowest Archaic Will and Archaic Way. Supreme Will represents the entire universe whilst Divine Will and Way represents the centre of the universe and the Primordial Will and Way represents the vast immortal planes and True and Archaic Will and Ways represented the limitless mortal planets.


    After all the crystal orb contained essence of the ways and was based of an immortal artifact and this artifact couldn''t be changed unless an extremely powerful Immortal which was well versed in Destiny and Fate were to change it of course this crystal orb was merely based off it however an powerful immortal versed in Destiny and Fate would still be needed for it to be changed. The Crystal ball had 6 different grades from 1st-6th grade with 6th being the highest using the colors from 1st-6th Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Violet. The first test was giving a powerful Spiritualattack which most people would easily past and gave them the color red. The next test was a stronger mental attack which around half of the people would suceed and the other half fail ones that suceeded would gain Orange. This test involved having a powerful mind to not be broken by simple things this allowed for someone''s heart to remain calm and the on the correct path.


    After that was a vision one recieved if one lasted for the span of 10 seconds the crystal orb would turn Yellowand if they lasted the entire minute it would turn Green. This test was no easy test it would test their willpower and resilience the vision was created by the user''s life and circumstances creating a world testing their heart as well as their dedication. Those who managed to have a Yellow talent were usually able to use their mind and manipulateobjects on a small scale and those with Green talent were able to do so on an medium scale. Of course if one were to enter the Soul stage they to were also able to influence and manipulateobjects however they could be affected by the likes of formations or arrays but mental power was unrestricted even by Soul stages formations...The manipulation allowed for users to create earthquakes, turn the seas as well as ways to crush their opponents. (Imagine a wave coming near you and you make it go the other way but to a bigger scale) (Soul attacks make no physical change to the body most of the timebut mental attacksmost of the time will)


    In order to gain blue on needed to have an extremely powerful mind the crystal orb would search deep inside their mind those who attained blue were counted on their hands even on the entire continent they would be able to overturn the very sea''s themselves and crush people with thoughts and cause tornadoes to come out of nowhere. Of course this was only after the one who attained it had trained in it greatly. The test for violet was the same but was several times harder infact noone on the entire continent had yet to reach violet they would be able to manipulate the entire mortal world if they were to realise the full potential they could change the will of the world.

 Chapter 10. Coming of Age Ceremony (Five)

    As the youth''s inside the room were clearly amazed Zhou Ye was sitting down and waiting for things to continue and then he saw Ye Cheng still sleeping and pushed him a bit and said "Wake up... Its starting now!"


    However Ye Cheng was sound asleep and not waking up and he was even snoring while saying "gimme a bit more time..." Zhou Ye pushed him again then smiled and whispered"Wake up now or Ye Yin will get angry at you!" Ye Cheng immediately woke up and looked around everywhere the look for where Ye Yin was and look confused for a second and saw the smile on Zhou Ye''s face and then said "You lied to me!!!"


    Ye Cheng may have been a year older but he was still not as mature as Zhou Ye was and before Zhou Ye could reply he heard a voice saying "Everyone line up in 10 lines infront of the 10 testers!"


    Li Deshi then explained about the 6 grades possible and after he was done the five sects came upon and said their requirements to join their sects of the five only the Yun Star Sect stated that they needed an 2hd Grade Spiritual talent (Orange) and Origin Temple asked for inferior3rd Grade SpiritualTalent or above (Light Yellow) The other sects asked for at least superior 1st Grade SpiritualTalent or above (Dark red) The rising sun sect was the only sect asking for a normal 1st Grade Spiritual Talent or above (Red). This was also the same for the other tests of potential and combat experience in order to not get them mixed up.


    As the line started to be made Zhou Ye and Ye Cheng heard voices shouting Dark Red, Light Orange, Light Red, Red and the alike, this would symbolise their grade they recieved. As Zhou Ye and Ye Cheng got onto a line, Zhou Ye once again felt a chill going down through his body this was Li Deshi who saw for a moment Zhou Ye however Li Deshi then heard a voice saying "Light Green!" Li Deshi wasn''t that surprised however the screaming that came from it agitated him a bit causing him to lose his focus on Zhou Ye.

    Zhou Ye and Cheng Ye were now directed to the general talent room which was slightly wider but not as tall.As the general talent test started Zhixin himself once again got green however this time it was normal green while the other two still recieved light green and to even more surprise Ye Cheng recieved once again recieved blue for his talent however when they tested his element affinities they were all only orange with his fire being at light yellow. But when they tested his lightning affinity the color was immensely blue it was just a step away from violet and this was all because of Celestial Origin which used the power of the heavens and the power of the heavens was lightning.


    Zhou Ye when testing the general talent recieved once again the whitish blue and purple which noone could see and deemed as no talent and when his element affinity was tested he recieved red for all of them except for lightning in which he recieved once again the whitish blue and purple and as Zhou Ye thought to himself "What does that whitish blue and purple mean... does it mean i really don''t have any potential..." Zhou Ye at that point sighed thinking about the whitish blue and purple however in the far distance was Li Deshi frantically travelling to Mo Domain and as he was rapidly disappearing and appearing this was called teleporting a skill that soul cultivators had he was doing it frequently to the Zhenren Council Room located at Mo Domain.

Li Deshi was just about to leave until a high pitched voice came out saying "Uncle! Do we have visitors?"

 Chapter 12. Lightning Hall

    Going back to where Zhou Ye hit the wall he was asked by the sects if he wanted to join them. The rewards in comparison to ones that the others before him were far much higher afterall a Corporeal Cultivator would usually be a much harder task and at certain times weaker or stronger than their respective counterparts on working on their spirit.


    Fortunately all the sects except for Yun Star Sect had their eyes on him this was because the Yun Star Sect focused mostly on cultivators with that of energy rather than Spiritual or Physical powers.


    Zhou Ye of course those the lightning sect and fortunately at that time Yan Mo had already went back to his sect because of Ye Cheng being escorted.     As for Zhan he had dark brown hair and a slightly rugged face he was someone who trained more of physical means rather than Spiritual or Cultivation (Spiritual is virtually absolute world law and cultivation is loose universal law). I should go quicly now"


    "Master and Ancestor i must now go to Lightning Hall to pick up my nephew... It seems something has happened" Said Yuan Li as he quickly then disappeared and as he did Li Deshi and Yuan Zen talked to each other with Yuan Zen starting first "Isn''t Lightning Hall one of the five sects? That you said you found the ultraviolet talent at?"


    Li Deshi then quickly replied with "Your right! We are wasting time here... I''ll be back missy... (Ye Yin)" At that point both Li Deshi and Yuan Zen disappeared and Ye Yin thought to herself "That was weired... Judging by the conversation it seems that the old man was my grandfather and the other one was my uncle''s master..." Ye Yin was able to keenly listen and tell the positions of the people before her.


    Yuan Li''s location was currently closer to the Lightning Hall than the five sects meeting place, suprisingly Lightning Hall had an outpost near the city and this wasn''t just a camp it was an outpost with atleast a few Spirit powerhouses.


    However it wasn''t just that Yuan Li was the fastest Grand Soul cultivator within the entire Continent he was among the fastest in terms of speed on the continent including Soul Kings and Soul Emperors! However in terms of strength and techniques among the entire continent he could at best be consideredthird rate as well as his knowledge and wisdom skills and his Spiritual capacities. Of course 3rd Rate wasn''t the normal 3rd Rate the comparison between Yuan Li and others were just to big! But noone knew how Yuan Li was capable of such speed...


    His speed would be capable of slightly going at the same speed as that of Yuan Zen if he sacrificed part of his life essence however this could only be temporarily and would only be used in the most dire of emergencies....

    Yuan Li was moving leisurely to the Lightning Hall Outpost Ye Cheng currently was at as once he got near it he was able to sense that Ye Cheng was currently sense tus so decided to move slower and more comfortable and thus then decided to instead of "teleporting" run every few metres with each push off the ground he did allowing him to glide for a few seconds.


    As he got there closer and closer he then decided to release a little bit of his aura as a joke to frighten the Lightning Hall Sect Head.

 Chapter 13. Something to yearn for..... (note moved to chapter 14)

    All of a sudden the Lightning Hall Sectmaster felt an indescrible aura come upon him this was none other than Yuan Li probing him to how strong he was.     Ye Cheng quickly replied with "Uncle! He wants me to become his disciple when I already have a master and he isn''t even as strong as you!" Obviously the Lightning Hall Elder couldn''t tell that Yuan Li was actually the wide known Yuan Li as people rarely if ever barely got a glimpse of his face and the only ones who did were the council themselves.


    Yuan Li immediately then said "humph! You can at best be considered half a step into Soul..... But even if there were one hundread of you at Soul they wouldn''t be able to do anything to me!" The Lightning Sect Master then grew scared and replied in a frightened tone

That was a name few had ever heard on Black Serpent Continent it was one of the major powers of the second strongest continent TrueDragon Continent as for the first and strongest continent that was the Divine Sovereign Continent.... there were legends of them having dozens of enlightenment stage powerhouses existing there! But of course that legend was a few thousands of years ago however none were brave enough to journey there and those from the Divine Sovereign Continent wouldn''t mind themselves with lower continents...


    The resources and energy fluctuating of the Divine Sovereign Continent was truly imcomparable in regards to the other continents..... Because of that noone from the Divine SovereignContinent would barely ever go to another continent unless there was an great treasure or to hide from someone several times stronger than themselves.


    The reason the continent was called the Divine Sovereign Continent was because in the past all five of the continents were originally one (three human continents Black Serpent, True Dragon, and Divine Sovereign.     A truly arrogant title however it was a definite fact that if anyone was worthy of the title "Ruler" then it would be the Divine Sovereign otherwise known as the Spiritual Sage and.... a certain Demon Beast King....


    One day the Divine Sovereign angered by the Demon Beast King''s advanced on his territories decided to seperate the continents into two via his Spiritual Power. Such a thing was nearly impossible however the Divine Sovereign''s spiritual Capacity was considered nearly limitless which allowed for him to do so and not split them as if he was a savage with an attack of a sword or a spear, Despite the Demon being only a Pseudo Immortal it had power near equal to his own.As the continents were being split the Divine Sovereign was attacked which lead to an battle lasting over several days until....


    He was helped by his two most trusted followers the True Dragon Lord and the Black Serpent Lady and with those two he was able to turn the tide of the battle and kill the King. However the following battle resulted in the splitting of the continent into not two as planned but rather five. The Divine Sovereign in his wisdom gave two of the Continents to both the True Dragon Lord and Black Serpent Lady to reign and one for himself. However he didn''t give the Continents for ruling but rather as protective islands against the monster continents which he was simply unable to manage.


    Afterall he wouldn''t kill all the monsters! If he did so how could others improve.... killing them all meant almost effectively cutting the path for all cultivators and he did not wish to do such a thing...


    Some people thought when the Divine Sovereign gave the True Dragon Lord and Black Serpent Lady the two continents which were coincidentally barren and wastelands whilst his were full of life and energy that he was being greedy and evil and that he feared the two getting to strong and decided to limit their potentials!


    However the Divine Sovereign was no tyrant and he didn''t give the continents for the two to rule out of fear but rather out of having no options. He himself could not lead two continents so how could anyone else? If not for the main continent being split the True Dragon Lord and Black Serpent Lady would surely had been ruling with the Divine Sovereign on his continent.


    However in time thousands of years passed and only he remained and the day he was going to assail the Immortal Realm he decreed that the Black Serpent and True Dragon Continent are never to be destroyed or to be at war with as he feared that his follower''s people would fight with his own.


    The day the tribulation descended the Divine Sovereign almost lost his life moments before his Spiritual Capacity reached the peak of the Mortal Realm allowing him to scrap his mortal body and ascend to the Immortal Realm... But the two rules remained eternal and forever even to this day.


    As for the TrueDragon continent there were four different factions including the royal faction however each of them had the strength of atleast equal if not greater than that of the Zhenren Empire. Dragon Establishment of the five was definitely the strongest but had the smallest number of people... But one had to think an Outer Elder despite being an Elder, it was still among the bottom of all the ranks and if an Outer Elder was an Soul Level, one had to think how unfathomable the sect head would have to be? Much less their almighty ancestor behind the sect.


    The Elder at that time had a happy face of course he would at where he was. everyone was weaker than him! Back at to where the elder originated from Soul levels could only be treated the same that Spirit Lord''s would be treated like at Black Serpent Continent. However since he was on Black Serpent Continent and Soul levels were far more scarce and rare how could he not feel that he was undeniably strong and nearly invincible in the Soul Level.


    Zhou Ye could feel the sense but it was to faint not in regards to the person but Zhou Ye simply didn''t have the cultivation thus so he ignored the sense and then walked towards the Inner Temple to be admitted and in time the sense disappeared of course Zhou Ye at his shallow cultivation couldn''t feel that it disappeared exactly like that... With Tang Xuan''s help perhaps... But not currently he could by himself


    Zhou Ye walked to the Inner Temple and was shown an mid-grade cultivation method and skill of course to Zhou Ye this was of no use but he would still keep it and perhaps practice it until the time for Celestial Origin was to be known publicly.

    I''ve been gone for to long.....


    I''m doing a restart on the series.... It will be called Sovereign Immortal instead.


    Essentially everything will be the same, the only differences is that the grammar, sentences and maybe even character development will be far more polished....


    As for why I''m restarting is because, the time I have been gone. I''ve been practicing on writing novels and now I''ve realised how bad of a job I did..... The grammar, world building, character development and even punctuation should be better but my sentence structures will remain horrific.
