《Cultivation Bug Fuyo》 Chapter 1 - Poisoned and left for dead Thud The hoe struck deep into the soil, the blow was mighty and strong like an ox. A simple strike had the force of ten men and it dug itself deep into the soil. The boy that was not quite a man stopped and slowly wiped the sweat from his forehead. His dark brown hair blew against the wind, sweat dripped down his golden brown skin. The sweat glistened, reflecting the sun''s yellow rays, making him look like a chiseled statue of a golden God. He stood with a proud look on his face. His hazel eyes gazed over the freshly turned soil in triumph. The surrounding girls whispered as they admired his flawless body while the boys snickered in contempt. His face was quite fearsome when he worked, he was extremely focused. His solid body was formed from tireless hours of hard labor and training. It was like a magnet that drew their eyes and made girls stomachs flutter in excitement. He reached towards his sweat soaked t-shirt and slid it back on. It didn''t feel very nice wearing a sticky shirt but he felt more comfortable when people weren''t ogling him. He wasn''t too serious and he took out time to play but he couldn''t afford to be distracted when he was farming. He was a very disciplined person. The farm lands were his domain, he could work ten times faster than the average man. In fact his nickname was Cultivation Bug Fuyo. He earned this nickname thanks to his peerless talent in farming. He was like a little bug that could fertilize soil and cause the crops to grow strong and powerful. He ignored the giggling girls and sneering boys then continued to plough through the soil. "Nothing like a hard day''s work to get the blood pumping. The weather is good, the forecast is great and the crops are growing nice and strong." His gaze fell upon the rest of the fields. From one horizon to the next, everything the light touches was his domain and responsibility. From the distance an old man slowly made his way over. "Greetings, Young Lord Fuyo." He clasped hands and bowed. "We have an amazing harvest this month and it''s all thanks to your hard work and leadership." "If it wasn''t for hardworking farmers like you, how could I possibly manage this all by myself?" Fuyo smiled. "You flatter me, if it wasn''t for you our village wouldn''t have had half the success it has today. There is no Lord in the world that is as kind and as hardworking as you. The village would still be suffering if you never took the leadership position. You empowered the villages to take their lives into their own hands. You taught them and gave them the strength needed to stand up against the evil Lord and take back what was theirs." His words held unspeakable pride but behind his eyes there was also a tinge of sadness and longing. The villagers who heard his words nodded in agreement as a smile spread across their face. "With your leadership the village has prospered, words cannot express our gratitude." It sounded like an extremely formal conversation almost like they wrre acting it out, because they were. In reality they were very close and didn''t use such niceties, but in public they would act the part. After all, Fuyo was now the Young Lord of Wsc Village and Yama was the grand elder. No matter his rank the villagers wouldn''t tolerate any sort of disrespectful talk even if it was a joke. Because to them, Fuyo is a God. "You speak too highly of me, but thank you for your kind words." He nodded in respect. A villager whispered to a new farmer who just joined the work team. "Unlike other Lords he is humble and doesn''t flaunt his power or abuse it unless his hand is forced." "Young Lord, I have a gift if I may." He stretched his arm and reached into his side bag, a few seconds later he pulled out an ebon-gray box. It was Fuyo''s 18th birthday yesterday so this his birthday present. He took the box and held it in his hands. He looked it over one more time then took the small ebon-gray box and gave it to Fuyo. "I would like to offer this to you. It is but a small token of my appreciation for your help over the past few years." His hands seemed to shake slightly as he passed it on to Fuyo. "Thank you venerable Elder, I accept your sincerity and I will treasure this gift for the rest of my life." A wider smile spread across Fuyos face. This Elder had a tragic life; he lost his entire family in the war, along with all his 6 sons. The years had not been kind. Their meeting could be considered a stroke of fate. Fuyo was wandering the borderlines of his new territory when he ran into a bandit group. The group was mercilessly beating down the old man trying to rob him and kill him but before they realized it they had entered into a fierce battle with this seemingly ordinary child and eventually lost their lives. Fuyo didn''t draw his sword often, but when he did it tasted blood. Elder Yama was saved but giving a man a fish doesn''t feed him for life. So Fuyo offered him a job on the farm he recently purchased. Due to his old age he wasn''t able to work much and he had no sons to support him but he did his fair share and Fuyo paid him slightly more than the others. This helped to ease the burden of survival and daily necessities. That was until the old man started teaching him martial arts. Then he moved into Fuyos courtyard and helped him hone his abilities. This elder could be considered the closest person to Fuyo. He was always emotionally alone until he met the grand elder. He accepted the gift and slowly opened the box. A shining light burst forth from the inside completely blinding him. His eyes slowly adjusted to the sudden brightness, shortly after the light faded into obscurity. The inside of the box was lined with white silk and in the middle of the box was a seemingly ordinary wooden seed. "What''s this? Perhaps, it is a type of tree seed." He thought to himself. "You are probably wondering what this is right?" asked elder Yama. Fuyo nodded. "It''s a special medicinal seed that can strengthen your body, eat it. It is very beneficial. Some would even say life changing." Fuyo looked it over once more and then happily scoffed it down. He had never heard of such a seed but he didn''t think too much of it. A stabbing pain assaulted his entire body. Is this part of the strengthening process? He grabbed his chest and then fell to the ground. He started coughing involuntarily. Black blood sprayed from the 7 orifices of his head. Elder Yama stood in front of him with a smile on his face. "I wish you a safe trip to the next world." He paused for a bit before turning his back to Fuyo, and then he said. "Farewell."'' His words were filled with melancholy and also joy. "Next world? What''s going on? Will I die here? NO!" These were the first thoughts that appeared inside Fuyos head. He had aspirations to become King of this world. How could he die in such a boring way? The villagers ran over, attacked Elder Yama and then pinned him to the ground. Despite this forceful action he appeared very calm. "What is going on? What''s happening to the Young Lord!" They cried in panic as Elder Yama''s head hit the dirt. "What did you do to the Young Lord?!" They yelled viciously. Their eyes filled with hate and panic. They held him on the ground and started stomping on his hands and feet. "What did you do?" They yelled desperately. The Young Lord was no less than a God to them so when they saw him in distress they lost their minds. He pulled them back from drought, overthrew the previous Lord, saved the farmlands and grew it to a state where they could comfortably eat three meals a day. This was a great luxury for many people in this barren world. How could they accept to see their Young Lord in such a state? If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. Blood gushed from the 7 orifices of his head. Fuyo wiped the blood from his eyes. His whole body felt like giving up, its like his energy was being sapped away. The village Doctor Yixue arrived in an instant and started to treat the poison. The villagers were uneasy. He pulled out a sharp scalpel and took a blood sample. After 3 or 4 minutes a concerned villager asked. "Grandmaster Yixue, what''s the diagnosis?" A look of shock appeared on Yixue''s face. "I''ve never seen this poison before so I have no idea how to treat it. It''s a strange poison, rapidly eating away at the Young Lords flesh and blood. The royal physicians of the capital might know of this poison and have a cure for it." "How long does he have doc?" Anticipation and hope was written on their faces. But that was quickly destroyed by Yixue''s next sentence. "No more than a 60 minute cycle before the poison reaches his heart and cuts through his arteries." Gasp The crowd grew silent. Some children started to weep. From here to the capital would take no less than 3 days by horse. Fuyo calmed his breathing and held in the blood he was about to cough up. His hands and arms started shaking as he pushed himself up off the ground finally spitting out the blood he held in his throat. His head was thumping and his vision was obscured and fuzzy. Elder Yama lay on the ground, his face and body was bruised from the stomping. "Why?" He asked with difficultly, as he mustered up the strength to speak. Fuyos whole body shook and his veins bulged. All over his body his veins were now visible through his skin. They were growing thicker and thicker with each passing minute. The pain was unbearable; it felt like his soul was being torn apart. The moisture in his skin was slowly draining away. One could only imagine what he would look like an hour from now. Elder Yama looked up at Fuyo, his eyes wide open. "I had 6 sons in my life, each one made me extremely proud. When they died I wandered the lands in grief, I had no direction and nowhere to go. In the end you saved my life and gave me refuge. In my heart I consider you my 7th son. I am proud of what you have become. From an orphan to a Lord you are the leader and inspiration of a generation. I have lived a long life and it is time for me to see my sons on the other side." He sighed and slowly closed his eyes. His pulse faded away and he entered the deep sleep never to open his eyes again. Did this crazy old man want Fuyo to join him in death? What madness! Its true when they say "A wise man in life, an eccentric in old age." Because they were all focused on Fuyo none of them noticed a shadow forming in the bright blue sky. It continued to grow bigger and thicker, the blue sky started to grow darker and finally it was obscured by the shadow. This darkness felt uncomfortable like worms wriggling beneath your skin. It felt like the darkness was welcoming venerable Elder Yama. Fuyos heart felt pain. Even though the Elder had poisoned him, he still held great affection for this Elder. He must have gone senile and lost his mind. It''s the only explanation and if that was the case then he could not hold it against him. After all, its better to die with a clear mind than a hateful one. Even if he came back as a ghost, there was no revenge to be had. Elder Yama was already dead. Fuyo was a strong person but he couldn''t stop himself from crying. The world started to tremble ever so slightly, it wasn''t anything noticeable at first but the shaking grew more and more profound with each passing second. After 15 minutes of subtle vibrations it felt like a 6.0 Earthquake had struck. Trees tumbled down, mountains quaked and crumbed, oceans surged and the winds whipped the lands. If one calamity wasn''t enough they were now facing another. The shaking ground to a halt and the villagers gathered their wits, it seems no one was hurt too bad from the earthquake. Only a few light injuries here and there. It was at this moment that they noticed the farm lands had collapsed in on itself. Their crops were ruined. If the Young Lord was to die they would find it hard to cultivate the land once again. The smarter villagers instantly realized the situation and they were in shock. It seems that many of them will starve to death and only the lucky and strong will survive. Bad things usually come in threes. Fuyo being poisoned and knocking on deaths door was the first, their cultivated lands and crops being destroyed was the second, then what was the third calamity to befall them? That question was quickly answered by the Universe when an invisible wave spread across the surface of the planet. The wave was akin to a sonic boom, it traveled invisibly but everyone felt it. It was as if God himself was in the heavens and peering into their souls. All their secrets and machinations were seen through instantly. It''s like this wave of power could read their thoughts and see into their soul. Accompanying the invisible wave was the tolling of death bells. This wasn''t a real sound but a sound they felt deep inside their souls. It was an instinctual fear, a fear that was deep rooted in the annals of human history. This was not a God, this was more like a Demon. But even a Demon wouldn''t give off this type of fiendish feeling. This was a fear unlike any other could match. They didn''t know why they were afraid because this wasn''t their own fear but the fear conjured up by their ancestors. It was a fear being forced out through their blood. It was a fear so deep rooted in human history that it was passed down through thousands of generations. Never to be forgotten. At this moment one word appeared in their minds and every able bodied person on the planet said in unison "Kishin!" They were prey being eyed by a vicious predator. A Kishin was an ancient creature. It was neither Demon nor God. It was an existence beyond both of them. A creature so fearsome that even Immortals would turn tail and run. The skies started to change again; the darkness that filled the sky was cut open and split apart by dazzling 9 colored lights. A giant aurora spread across the sky forcefully vanquishing the darkness. The lights danced around manically, it was like a lovers quarrel. The shaking stopped, the oceans settled, the forest returned to tranquility and the sky returned to its former blue glory. The light gathered and formed into massive symbols and halos. Nine rings with nine different colors. Another strange event occured. Over the North and South Pole appeared two massive characters. It was written in an ancient language. At the South Pole was the "Earth Seal" and at the North Pole was the "Heaven Seal". The rumbling once again returned. The seal shone even brighter than before and fought back against the Kishin. But it was no use. Crack crack crack. Large fractures appeared in the sky that stretched from one horizon to the next. Fragments of the nine colored light started to fall to the earth as it lost its binding. In the darkness of the crack appeared an eyeball. Gasp A giant eyeball that covered the entire sky. Reeeeehhhhhhhhh! A loud roar echoed out as a sound wave shook the planet. It was like a 7.0 earthquake hit. Two hands reached through the space and then forcefully pulled open the crack. Crack crack.. snap. A piece of the sky broke off and was devoured by the giant Kishin. Reeeeehhhhhhhhh! It roared again as the cracks grew larger and more common. The second roar was louder than the last, everyone''s ears began to bleed and the earth started to shake ferociously. It was now equal to an 8.0 earthquake. Crack crack crack. snap! Boom! Finally, the seal was destroyed. Reeeeehhhhhhhhh! This last roar was equal to a 10.0 earthquake. Tsunamis surged across the planets surface with 100 meter high waves. Entire cities were buried beneath the water, mountains and countries split apart. The first roar killed ten thousand, the second roar killed ten million and the third killed ten billion. The light shattered, the heaven and earth seal crumbled into pieces. The sky that they knew was destroyed and eaten by the Kishin. The true sky was revealed behind the Kishin. Millions and millions of stars lit up the void, it was a shocking scene. This was not the heavens that they knew. The sky they grew up with and had seen their entire life was like living inside a painted egg shell. Suddenly that eggshell was broken and they got to see the outside world for the first time. It seemed there was indeed a sky beyond a sky. They looked out into the sky only to meet the fearsome eyes of the Kishin. It had three eyes, they were white like the moon and the third was vertical and in the center. They exuded the feeling of lifelessnessand oppression . Click click click crack The Kishin clicked its jaw as it opened its mouth wider and wider. It seems its mouth wasn''t wide enough to swallow the planet whole so it tore apart its own jaw as it turned to swallow the Planet. This Kishin is a monster, more shocking than anything they could imagine. Its head alone was twice the size of the planet. Its skin was made of earth and that earth was filled with various lava mountains, small moons and even continents floating across its liquid like skin. Its teeth were made of sharp crystals and it had two horns protruding from its head. The Kishin to the world was like a Human to a grapefruit. The Kishin put the planet into its mouth and then crunched down. The force of the crunch caused the planet to explode and everyone that lived there died. It was a tragic ending for the people of this planet. Alive one moment and gone the next. How did things escalate so fast? From their Lord dying to everyone dying. It was too sudden, they didn''t even have time to lament about their impending doom. They came face to face with a creature they didn''t know existed. It wiped out their entire civilization, women, children, men, dogs, cats, spiders, bees, everything. Absolutely everything was caught in the calamity. It was an impartial judge that looked down upon all creation. That''s the cruel reality of the world. Only those with power have the strength to control their own destiny. Everyone is but a small cog in the great machine called life. If there civilization was more advanced then they could have built a rocket and flew away but that is neither here nor there. Hold up... What''s going on? Fuyo clearly remembered dying. He saw the sky go dark, the seal breaking apart and the Planet bursting into flames. He remembered the intense pain he felt as the poison tore apart his heart and the flames of destruction finished him off. It was almost instantaneous but he remembered the pain clearly. So what''s going on? He could feel wind on his face like he was still alive and travelling through the air. Am I dead? Is this the underworld? What''s going on? He struggled violently to open his eyes and what he saw amazed him. He was flying through space but how was that possible? He looked at his body but there was nothing there. It seemed he was nothing but a spirit flying through the void of space. This was too much for a simple farmer boy like him to take in. The grief he felt was unbearable. As those thoughts resurfaced in his mind he closed his eyes and fell into a deep slumber. His body continued to fly through space endlessly and by the time he opened his eyes again, 10,000 years had already passed. ¡ª¨C Chapter 2 - Food for the wolves He opened his eyes, his vision was a bit hazy but after 5 or so minutes his eyes sharpened and he looked around. Stars and planets continued to whiz past him. He felt extremely exhausted from his 10,000 year slumber. It took him a while to recover his senses. Once he came to he gasped, the scene in front of him was just too shocking. There was a giant wall in front of him, it was huge! In fact there was no end to it. He looked in one direction and then looked in the other, it was the same thing. It was like an endless wall that continued on forever. Up, down, left, right with no end in sight. On the wall were various moving patterns and swirls. There were even stars and planets floating around. But they all looked like specs of dust compared to the great wall. His soul started screaming as his body flew towards a star. He couldn''t feel the heat but he knew he would die if he collided with it. But the funny thing is, he flew straight through it, not only that but as he flew past it he felt his soul heat up and grow stronger. Even though the star was the size of a million earths, he passed through it in less than a second. It was unknown how fast he was moving, the speed he was travelling was simply incredible. He couldn''t move his body very well, he could only adjust his trajectory by an inch or two. His spirit continued to silently approach the giant wall. He didn''t know what this wall was but the great wall was actually a hollow earth. This wall was the outer shell of the Universe. It was an infinitely large and endless world. It was like something you''d read in a novel. Unbelievable! Fuyo slowly came to an understanding about his situation. He didn''t know how long he had been sleeping but he had a theory about the seed. Elder Yama was always a mysterious person. He didn''t speak much but when he did it was profound and meaningful. Elder Yama had lost his way but meeting Fuyo helped him regain his sanity and in return Fuyo learnt a lot from this Elder. It slowly developed into a father and son relationship, although they had never referred to each other as such. Fuyo never really knew his father, he wasn''t there when he grew up. He never knew his mother either because she died fighting a pack of wolves. His mother buried him in a hole and then ran in another direction to lure the wolves away. She died that day but Fuyo survived thanks to her sacrifice. It was a traumatizing event and ever since then he has been afraid of wolves. From that moment he trained his Dao of farming, strengthening his body and teaching himself the way of the sword. He didn''t know much about swords, all he could do was cut using the powerful muscles he built. He had to fend for himself since a young age; he became a wandering orphan without a set home. He journeyed to different places before settling in Wsc City. He earned a small fortune through various mercenary jobs. It was enough to purchase a farm. He chose this city because it had lots of flat grounds and was perfect for farming. Not only that but it could also further his ambitions. At the time the current City Lord was a very malicious and scheming man. He would kidnap young girls and rape them, after that he never let them go. He would toy with them endlessly until they died or commited suicide. When they died he would drink their blood. He drained the village through overwhelming taxes and held public executions for fun. He was a very clich¨¦ villain, a perfect target to further Fuyos ambitions. The villagers hated him with every fiber of their being. But they were too weak minded to unite and fight back. The years of fear mongering had taken their toll. At the time Fuyo was only a twelve year old boy, he was strong but not strong enough to take on an entire regiment of armed City guards. He thought it would take him another 10 years to establish his position, until he saved a random old man from getting killed. His body was weak but his muscles were honed like a sharp sword. It was strange seeing a man with such perfect muscles being beaten like a dog. The scene reminded Fuyo of the wolves surrounding his mother and attacking her when he was young. In that instant he temporarily lost his sanity as flashes of the trauma resurfaced in his mind. Most people would cower and fall back but Fuyo did the opposite. He flew into a blind rage. In his insanity he turned into a blood thirsty demon. He flew into the middle of the battle, his two swords whipped around like a tornado. They were caught off guard but still managed to heavily damage him. 16 lacerations and 13 light flesh wounds. That was the damage they inflicted before they lost their lives. Fuyo stood there, roaring at the sky as the blood dripped down his body. He fell to the ground with a thump passing into unconsciousness. His fighting spirit had ignited a long dead flame inside the old man''s heart. He pulled some herbs from his side bag and laid them over Fuyos wounds. They were incredibly expensive medicine, each one worth no less than a small mountain of gold coins. He exhausted his last 5 herbs that he had and in less than three days Fuyo was back to full strength. The only thing remaining in the old man''s possession was an ebon-gray box.The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. Fuyo didn''t remember the box at first. It wasn''t until he had a lot of time to ponder the events that transpired, that he remembered. This little tidbit of information didn''t seem like much but it helped him solve the puzzle. The ebon-gray box he was gifted was the same one from all those years ago. At that time, Elder Yama was ready to roll over and die. He was a beaten dog, he didn''t want to go on anymore. But seeing Fuyos fearsome fighting spirit inspired him. He was like a blunt blade, pure power filled with ferociousness. All he needed was someone to hone his abilities and guide him on the right track. He remembered the fire he had when he first joined the military. He rose through the ranks and finally entered the Tengan Toppa Royal Guard under General Aizen Gurren. But his father passed away suddenly and he was forced to take the throne and succeed as King. Time passed and he married, she bore him 6 sons, they were all famous warriors in life and in death. The war is what claimed their lives, but they died a proud warrior''s death. They fell in battle; they would have wanted it that way. They were warriors through and through, tougher than nails. The Alezhar Empire invaded with full force but not many people knew why. It was a bloody war that lasted 22 years. In the end, Lagann Kingdom was completely defeated. The Lagann Kingdom had stronger warriors but the Alezhar Empire had a better strategist. They spread superstition creating fear in the hearts of men. This made them easier to control. In the end the King was surrounded by his own garrison, the Tengen Toppa Royal Guards. The only one who remained loyal was General Aizen Gurren but he was nearing the end of his years. He was killed covering the retreat of King Yama. King Yama took the ebon-gray box away from Lagann Kingdom and fled far, far away. He lost his will to live but he would never let Alezhar Empire achieve their goal. He wondered aimlessly for 2 years and finally when the last bit of his will had faded he decided to let fate take him. That was when he met Fuyo. Fuyo was only twelve years of age at the time and had wiped out an entire gang of bandits. Although he could do the same feat without incurring a single wound this child was still an unpolished Tenshi blade. He had potential. So King Yama decided to live on. He took this as a meeting with destiny. He would pass on his skills to Fuyo and then return to the earth, where he could be reunited with his dead sons. In three years Fuyo had completely honed his skills and mastered everything Yama could teach. He mastered the Tengan Toppa Royal Guard body strengthening technique, the sacred Gurren martial arts and finally the 36 severing''s of the Lagann sword. Fuyo was simply a genius! Aizen Gurren was considered the fastest in recorded history and he took 12 years to master these sets of techniques. In contrast, it took King Yama 22 years. If General Gurren was a genius of a generation wouldn''t that make Fuyo a genius of an era? Of course Fuyo never knew about King Yamas past. He never talked about it and Fuyo never asked. At the age of 16 Fuyo had reached the peak of human strength. He was 5 to 6 times faster than the average man. His stamina was like an endless ocean. His sword moved faster than the eye could see and he could behead five people in the time it takes for one breath. He was a well-honed sword, far surpassing General Gurren in his prime. He was also very ambitious; he knew benefits came with a price. He put on an act to inspire loyalty amongst the commoners that he lived with during these 3-4 years. He made himself known and acted very friendly. On his 16th birthday he put all his plans into action. This was the start of his journey for world domination. He hired 300 mercenaries to disguise themselves as villagers and staged an uprising. He stood in the center of the stage calling everyone to gather. Then he told everyone to rise up and take back what is yours. At first they ignored him and scoffed at him. He was going to get himself killed. But then one by one the 300 mercenaries appeared in the crowd churning the flames of war. "He killed my daughter and drank her blood. Your children could be next!" by saying some of these falsified lines he gave courage to the ones who really lost family members to the City Lord. With over 300 voices shouting out, more and more people grew courage and began to speak up. Slowly a pack mentality was formed among the people. A lot of the people had deep seeded hatred for the current City Lord but lacked the willpower to take a definitive stand. All their stress, pain, hatred and suffering had built up over the years and finally erupted. They felt empowered with all the people gathering and expressing their hatred. Even residents that had no qualms with the City Lord joined in, the momentum was just that strong. They started to march down the streets while chanting "Kill Lord Smeagol, vanquish the evil!" Soon there were over 100,000 people in the crowd. With Fuyos current strength he could have easily fended off the Lords guards and seized Smeagols head. But without people behind him it would be an empty position. He needed them on his side to further his future goals. With a large crowd behind him singing his praises the City Guards would naturally switch allegiance. He wanted to be the stallion that mounted the world, the great conqueror, the first emperor of all, the king of all kings and the ruler of all rulers. Great talent is usually accompanied by strong ambition, Fuyo was no different. He wanted the strength to control his own destiny; he wouldn''t let himself become food for the wolves. The riot started and they marched towards the City Lords palace. The guards ran out and sliced three villagers cleanly in half. "What are you doing? This is the City Lords palace! How dare you cause a commotion!" With a simple action panic erupted; the villagers came back to their senses and returned to their former cowardly selves. That''s when a concerned villager spoke out "What were we thinking? We can''t go against the City Lord. He is too powerful!" This person got down on their knees and started to kowtow asking for forgiveness and mercy. Of course the one kowtowing and pretending to be extremely afraid was a hired mercenary. This was when Fuyo made his move. He picked up the mercenary and patted him on the back. "Don''t be afraid my friend, I will give you the strength of a raging bull and you will easily stand your ground against these evil doers." Fire burst from Fuyos hands as he drew a circle around this man. The crowd grew awestruck. "It''s Magic!" ¡ª¨C Chapter 3 - Churn the flames of war! Of course this wasn''t real magic but a little chemistry trick he learnt from the grand elder. The Lagann Kingdom was a lot more technologically advanced than this simple country city. Lagann Kingdom was similar to a modern city, it had running water and electricity. But Wsc village was still living in the dark ages. The man roared and his fighting spirit ignited, he took the sword that Fuyo held out for him and cleaved his way through 3 guards. The crowd was shocked. Fuyo turned around and yelled "Will you follow me as your new leader and become dragons among men? Will you stand up and fight for what is yours? Tell me now and I will grant you the power to fight. You will never bow your head to anyone again!" His speech was strong and profound. The other mercenaries stood up and rushed into fight. There were 8,000 city guards and only 300 mercenaries. But with 100,000 commoners here, what could they do against such large numbers? The villagers saw the 300 men injuring and killing the guards. "They are so powerful! They are almost like trained mercenaries. Is this the power he bestowed upon them, is he a God?" 100 brave men felt inspired and ran into battle. Followed by another 100, soon more than 10,000 villagers were fighting against the City Guards. The show had already reached its climax. Fuyo walked out with his sword in hand. "That''s enough entertainment for one night; it''s time to end the show." He spoke calmly as he collected his thoughts. He breathed in and out slowly calming with body and attuning himself with his surroundings. Like a ghost he was there one moment and gone the next. Boom! He flew through the crowd like a hungry jack rabbit chasing a carrot. A silver light flickered through the air, followed by streams of blood and the sounds of bodies hitting the floor. In the time it takes for 3 breaths, 25 city guards were sliced through by Fuyo alone. If this continued then in 300 short breathes the entire City Guard regiment would be completely wiped out. The guards couldn''t stop his advance as he broke through their encirclement. The eyes of everyone present were focused on Fuyo as he smashed straight through the middle. In less time than it takes for a baker''s breath he was already standing on top of the City Lords dead body. One hand held a blood covered sword, the other hand held a head. The City Lord didn''t even know how he died. Fuyo was simply too fast. His blade easily cleaved through his jugular and severed his head in one swift movement. The City Guards were terrified, this wasn''t a fight it was a massacre. "Throw down your weapons and I will let you live." They hesitated. If they threw down their weapons they would have no way of protecting themselves anymore. Their hands trembled because of the strong seeded fear Fuyo had planted in them. "Now!" He yelled ferociously. His voice was filled with 100% of his fighting spirit and blood lust. Some guards wet themselves and collapsed. They completely surrendered and threw down their weapons. If he could have, he would''ve chosen not to kill any City Guards but he had to make a show of strength and force. Unfortunately, those City Guards were the stepping stones in his rise to greatness. No wars have been won without a little bloodshed. Fuyo achieved his goal, today was a great victory and a good birthday present to himself. The more than 7,000 surviving guards swore loyalty to Fuyo. The people cheered and partied for days and dubbed this celebration Independence Day. It was a celebration of them changing their fate and taking matters into their own hands. They felt empowered by Fuyos words and powers. But alas, they could not hear the drums of war sounding in Fuyos heart. Even though he was now Lord of the land everything was not sunflowers and daises. The village was facing a major crisis. The land was dying thanks to poor managament, many patches had already dried up and it needed someone to bring it back to life. But this was easier said than done. So this was his plan. The first step was cultivating the land. He showed his humility by farming alongside the villagers. He wasn''t afraid to humble himself and dirty his clothes. This offered them comfort and helped form an even deeper bond. He lowered taxes to an affordable rate and he invested 40% of the village funds towards land cultivation. This was their idea of a perfect Lord, calm, reasonable, strong, powerful, kind and caring but also decisive and ruthless. He played the part so well that his status was alleviated from Lord to God. They would not hesitate to throw down their lives for their Lord. That''s the kind of power he had against them. 2 years flew by in an instant and Fuyo celebrated his 18th birthday. For the past two years he worked on clearing their border and uprooting the trees to create more farm land. It was a resource heavy task but it was executed effectively and efficiently. Fuyo had planned out the next 10 years of his life. The first step was growing enough food to support a massive army, the next was to absorb the surrounding territories and have them swear loyalty. From there he could declare war and forcefully enlist able bodied men to join the army. After that he could take cities and lay siege to other lands. With large amounts of food and resources behind them they could war indefinitely. If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. Yama admired this quality in Fuyo. If he was alive when the war broke out he could have turned the tides on Alezhar Empire because he was a great strategist. As he thought of this he suddenly remembered the reason the war started. It had been 30 years since the calculations were drawn. If he was right then the calamity would strike tomorrow at noon. He paced back and forth as he thought about the situation. A look of resolution appeared in his eyes. He grabbed his bag and snuck out in the dead of night. He chose not to use a horse and instead went on foot. This wasn''t because horses were too loud but because he was faster than a horse by several times despite his old body. In only 7 hours he covered more than 1000 km. He was currently in a strange place, the trees were dead and there wasn''t a single sign of life anywhere. There were no animals or insects, not a single sound could be heard. Even the wind seemed to avoid this place. It gave off a very ominous feeling. The locals would stay far away from this place. Over the years it had come to be known as the deathly hallows. He dug his way through the black mud until he found a bear shaped stone protruding from the ground. The bear looked fearsome, its teeth were jagged rocks and its claws were like fine diamonds. The bear stone was actually a naturally formed rock. It didn''t have much significance, the reason the grand elder made his way here was due to its shape. It was easy to remember. This was the landmark he used to remember where he buried the ebon-gray box. He dug his hands deep into the black soil in front of the stone. The soil was extremely hard but his fingers were powerful like an iron sword. His fist could even smash stone. But even then he felt his fingers go numb while trying to dig through the black soil. "Tomorrow I will enter the earth and reunite with my sons. But Fuyo has so much talent; it would be a waste to see him die on this desolate world. Even though I won''t be able to see the person he will become. I know he will achieve great things. This will give him that chance." He muttered to himself under his breath. Finally he found the box he had buried all those years ago. "Hmm, I never got Fuyo a birthday present. Well, this is the best present I could ever give. You lucky bastard." He sighed. This box contained a secret, a forbidden secret. Throughout human history it has been the cause of many bloody battles. It was also the reason Alezhar Empire and Lagann Kingdom went to war. Alezhar and Lagann were the two ruling super powers of the world. Their technology was years ahead of its peers. A group of astronomers wanted to pierce through the veil of heaven and discover its machinations. They wanted to unlock the very secrets of the heavens itself. They built a giant telescope following an ancient alien blueprint they found. It was estimated to be more than a 100,000 years old. The creators were from a place called earth. No one knew what kind of place it was. It was described in the scrolls that these powerful "earthlings" could travel through the heavens like dragons. They had the power to destroy planets and up-heave the cosmos. It was a frightening picture painted by these words. Because their technology was inferior it took them more than a thousand years to construct it. But with this alien technology they could pierce through the darkness and glance into the deep abyss of space. No one expect that by doing so they would open Pandora''s box. The astronomers were excited over the completion of the telescope. Their ancestors had worked for generations and finally it was being completed in their own lifetime. They continued to glance out into space day and night. The telescope pierced through the false sky and gave them the power to see the stars. They looked out into heaven but at the same time, something else looked back. Visions flashed inside the heads of every living person. They saw images of people being ripped apart and eaten. They saw Gods and Demons being devoured by the Kishin. Their souls were torn apart and sucked away. It was like a fearsome ogre sucking bone marrow from its prey. Many people shrugged this off as a nightmare but the astronomers knew better. They had unwittingly opened Pandora''s Box. The planet they lived on was sealed by the Demon Sealing Jade. Not only was its heaven and earth magic cut off but also its presence. Gods could fly by and never noticed its existence. But it was different when they pierced through the heavens, they unwillingly exposed themselves. When they looked out into space the Kishin felt eyes focusing on it. It was light years away, but its senses were unfathomable. It looked into the distance and saw nothing but darkness. The Lonely Planet was a desolate world with no sun and no moon. There were no other planets close to it. It was a desolate world with no neighbours. It was almost invisible, almost. The Kishins senses were honed like a sharpened sword. It knew It''s senses wouldn''t lie, so it made a one way track straight towards the Lonely Planet. It knew something was there even if it couldn''t see it. The telescope wasn''t a normal telescope; it was a fearsome piece of computing technology. It gave calculations on the Kishin and how long it would take to arrive. 30 years. In 30 years the Kishin would arrive and every living being will meet a terrible end. It was a horrible thing to imagine. The astronomers were shaking in their boots and started destroying the telescope out of fear, it was too late. The Kishin had already found them and it was coming. It was coming and nothing could stop it. The astronomers came before King Yama. Emperor Vizard Alezhar was also present. Yama was about to marry his son Ichigo Ushikai to the Emperors daughter Orihimethe following week. The astronomers told story of what happened. King Yama then ordered the immediate execution of the astronomers for crimes against humanity. Despite their good relationship, tensions began to rise between the two countries. Emperor Vizard Alezhar wasn''t resigned to his fate and he knew about the ebon-gray box housed in the Lagann Kingdom. He knew that whatever was in the box could offer a life after death. Inside that ebon-gray box was a simple wooden seed, the seed had been petrified and became a wooden stone seed. This seed was also known as the seed of transmigration. The seed was ancient, older than the planet itself. It would swallow your blood and energy, then it would drill its way into your heart and devour your soul. It was a painful process but it would give you the opportunity of a new life. It would sever your spirit from your body and then transfer you to a new one. It had been in the royal treasury for 2,000 years. They stole it from another Kingdom that stole it from another Kingdom. It had a long history of blood associated with it. There were originally 100 seeds but now there was only one left. Whether it worked or not, no one really knew. Over the years many people have found the box and took a seed on their death bed. This was a last ditch effort to avoid death. No one knew where the seeds came from they only knew that it was something other worldly. Fuyo lamented his death, his mother, his master and his shattered dreams. His heart started to cry but he never expressed it, he buried it deep within the dark recesses of his heart. Everyone he cared about was dead, his mother and his master gave their lives so that he could survive. How could he ever repay them? He couldn''t. The only thing he could do was live. He would achieve great things in their honor and rule the world in their stead. His life wasn''t over, it had only just begun. ¡ª¨C Chapter 4 - I spy with my little eye a flying Immortal The giant wall drew closer and closer until the clouds brushed past Fuyos face as he dove through them. Down below he could see little black dots hurrying back and forth likes ants. As he drew closer he realized that the little black dots were actually people flying through the air. They were going head to head in a fierce clash of weapons and abilities. How can they fly? It seemed like a silly question for a wandering spirit to ask but Fuyo was still new to this weird world. There was no such thing as magic on the lonely planet. "Will I reborn as one of these flying Immortals?" A large smile spread across his face. "Will I become a flying Immortal like in the legends?" He smiled as he thought about his future prospects. "Which one shall I choose?" He tried to will his spirit towards the flying Immortal in the middle. He seemed to be the strongest; none of the other Immortals would approach him like they were afraid. Even though they were fighting in a fierce battle they remained vigilant of his presence. But he seemed to only be spectating so the fighting continued on as usual. This person had the airs of a King. Fuyo used 100% of his will to move his spirit to the left. Shhhueeeee... His spirit streamed through the air. He forcefully changed his trajectory and moved in the direction of the powerful Immortal. Perfect! He held a clear path straight towards him. "Yes!" He exclaimed in his head with a heart full of excitement. But right before they were about to collide the Flying Immortal moved forward and attacked the group of cultivators that were currently in a life and death battle. They had finally let their guard down and were ripe for the picking. "No!" Yelled Fuyo. "Move back you bastard. Give me your body!" His tongue flicked out like a vicious snake. But no matter how much he hissed and cursed he wasn''t strong enough to stop the force pushing him towards the ground. Closer and closer, inch by inch he drew near. In his final moments everything became a blur as he collided with the solid ground. Boom! His vision went blank, he didn''t know what was going on but he felt the sensation of the seed nourishing his soul. The seed broke apart and was absorbed by his soul disappearing into nothingness. His soul bulged and grew many times stronger than before, but the sudden increase in power strained his mind and forced him into unconsciousness. When he came to his senses he could feel pain all over his body. "Urgh, it hurts.'''' "Wait, it hurts? I have a body again!" He exclaimed excitedly. "Have I successfully transmigrated? Yes, I am an Immortal! No, I definitely missed him. Maybe I got another Immortal? Yes, that must be it." His thoughts raced around his head as he looked at his surroundings. He tried to get up and move but he fell flat on his face. "What''s going on here? Why do I feel so wonky?" He picked his head up off the floor and looked down at his hands. He was awestruck. "What is this!" "How can this be?" His palms had no fingers; they were short and stubby like stools. His body was covered in cuts and bruises. He felt wobbly and weird but he was quickly distracted by the intense hunger he felt in his stomach. He looked above and saw how giant the trees were. He waddled over to a nearby puddle and looked at his reflection. What he saw shocked him to the core. Caterpillar? He had transmigrated into a caterpillar. How ridiculous! "No, no, no, no, no. How can this happen? Was I not meant to be someone great? How could I have been made a puny bug!" He yelled and howled at the sky but it was useless. He felt light headed and his stomach grumbled loudly. His skin was black and white with stripes all over. He noticed there were cuts and dried blue blood all over him. Something must have happened to the previous owner of this body. Did the previous host die? "Well, who knows? Maybe I can become Bug King, raise a bug army and rule the bug Kingdom. Yeah, that''s a good plan." He sighed as he consoled himself. "Who am I kidding? What can a bug do? I''m going to get squashed. Argh!" "This can''t be happening, this can''t be happening! It must be a bad dream. Yeah, that''s it. I must be dreaming. A genius such as myself becoming a bug? Ha! What a funny joke. There''s just no way." He would slap himself over and over again in order to wake himself up, but his arms just didn''t have that sort of reach. This world was simply too vivid and clear. There was no way it was a dream.Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions. "The heavens sure know how to joke." He had to eat a slice of humble pie; he was no longer the world shaking genius he once was. He really was just a bug and not even a cool bug. He had no powerful jaws, poison, spider webs, special abilities or super strength, he was as normal as normal could get. He sighed as he thought about it some more. It''s not the first time he''s been a bug. When he was a kid the wolves treated him like a bug that they could crush at anytime, he thought he had escaped that fate once he gained strength but compared to the Kishin he wasn''t even a speck of dust. Compared to ultimate power that could look down upon all creation he was nothing, nothing but a bug. Except this time it was more literal. His stomach rumbled again, followed by an intense stabbing pain in his abdomen. "Okay, okay. I''m over it. There''s no point in feeding myself pretty little lies to satisfy my over inflated ego. I must adjust and adapt to the situation." He nodded and then went on his way to find food. This is what made him such a talented child. He could easily adapt and identify his own flaws. He knew he wasn''t perfect and this was one of his greatest strengths. He had gotten cocky by being in a place of power for too long. This experience knocked him down a peg. "First things first, find food. What do caterpillars eat anyway? Grass, dirt, trees?'''' He found a tall patch of grass. It was like a big tree from his perspective because he was so small. He wiggled to the root and took a bite. Chomp! He chewed ferociously, it tasted delicious. He used to eat grass porridge when he was poor, so he knew it didn''t taste bad, but it was never this delicious. He devoured the entire crop of grass in 3 hours and then decided to wiggle on ahead. He was still hungry even after eating 10 times his own body weight. He was on a mission to find more delicious food. He didn''t know where the food was going but he liked the feeling of eating delicious food and never getting full. He found a small tree that had pink flowers growing along its branches. He licked his lips "That looks good. I bet it taste delicious." He started climbing the tree and it was extremely comfortable. It was surreal, he was clearly climbing vertically yet it felt as natural as walking on flat ground. It was like the laws of gravity never applied to him. He was like spiderman, climbing up the wall with ease. It was still quite a distance to the flowers though. Step by step he made his way up. After three hours he reached the lowest branch and waddled towards the closest flower. He took a bite. Crunch crunch crunch "Delicious! OMG!" nom nom nom. He was akin to a lion feasting upon its prey. Hunger has a way of heightening people''s emotions, delicious food has a way of inducing happiness and Fuyo was completely absorbed in this feeling of euphoria. Crunch crunch crunch, crunch crunch crunch. From one plant to another, he devoured them nonstop until finally he had his fill. "I must have eaten at least 10 times my body weight. How is this possible?'''' He decided to push these thoughts to the back of his head as soon as they appeared. He had no one to answer the question and it didn''t seem like a problem at the moment. Crunch crunch crunch "Huh. What''s that sound?" Fuyo grew alert. He almost let his guard down, the euphoria he felt made him tired and he relaxed his senses for a slight second. He would''ve never let himself be so careless before. He is a bug and bugs have an endless amount of predators. Luckily the crunching sounds brought him back to reality. Crunch crunch crunch He climbed over a branch that had grown and grafted itself onto another tree. When he crossed over he saw in the distance another 3 caterpillars eating around a flower while having a chat. He decided to walk over and introduce himself. "Hahaha. Did you see that fool? He''s probably dead by now. Can you believe he really jumped? He just flopped off and went splat." They all laughed as they joked about someone dying. "What are they talking about I wonder? Well it''s none of my business but I am interested in finding out a bit more about caterpillars. I should ask them a few questions." They didn''t see him approaching because they were too busy laughing and eating. "Hey there, I''m Fuyo." He smiled at them. Gasp, they were shocked and one of them nearly fell over. "It''s Fuyo, he survived the fall!" This trio of caterpillars were often referred to as the three legendary bullies. They were famous among the caterpillars for tricking and bullying others. One had black skin with white spots, his name was Pusshu and he was at least 3 times the size of Fuyo. The second caterpillar was white with black spots and his name was Panchi. He was about 1.5 times bigger than Fuyo but at least twice as long. If he was any longer people might mistake him for a centipede. The last of the three was a little girl, she was half the size of Fuyo and the undisputed leader of their tripartite. Her name was Kikku and she had a fiery personality. She was a beautiful pink caterpillar with white stripes. Of course Fuyo had no idea what constituted a pretty caterpillar so he was immune to the charms that many others had fallen to. Fuyo strained his memory but he couldn''t seem to recall anything. Judging by their body language and reactions he quickly deduced that they must have had a roll in killing the previous occupant of his body. That made them dangerous and a threat, he had to stay vigilant. "How did you survive? Well, I guess it doesn''t matter. I can''t believe you actually tried to kill yourself. You are so pathetic, hahaha." Kikku scoffed as she etched closer to him. "You know what? Panchi, Pusshu, why don''t we assist Fuyo here in learning how to fly. Let''s punch, kick and push him to the ground. You might have survived the first time but you can''t be so lucky the second time around." They snickered viciously and started walking towards him. The scene of them surrounding him seemed to spark a reaction in his brain. A stream of images suddenly flashed in his head. He saw himself standing at the end of a branch as the three bullies surrounded him and forced him to the edge. "Fuyo, come here so we can play with you." This scene had repeated itself many times over the last few weeks. He was sick and tired of it. In the end he decided to jump and aim for a puddle below, this was his ingenious escape plan. But fate had other plans as the winds of change blew him off course and he landed on a group of jagged rocks. The images stopped flashing and Fuyo finally understood. "That''s strange, we share the same name. In my past life I was Fuyo and in this one too. Well stranger things have happened I guess." But now''s not the time for those sorts of thoughts. He didn''t hesitate to turn tail and run. He made use of the Gurren agility technique Crimson Flash. He then quickly made his way up the tree. Crimson Flash was only the first in the series of Gurren martial arts. But he felt himself burning hundreds of calories every second he used it. It was too taxing on his current body. Usually he would have no trouble maintaining Crimson Flash but this time he was struggling, it felt like he was carrying hundreds of elephants on his back. He wobbled all over the place, he found it extremely strenuous to apply Crimson flash to all 16 of his limbs. And there was an unknown pressure weighing down on his body that made it hard to breathe. Still, the martial art showed its power and assisted him greatly. He made his way up the bark, crossed to another tree and made off into the distance. The 3 bullies couldn''t catch up and eventually gave up the chase. "Dammit, how did that little shit get so fast?" The trio snickered and then walked away with a look of dejection on their faces. ¡ª¨C Chapter 5 - The cold claws of death It was at this point that something swooped down from the sky. "Caw! Caw!" Giant talons wrapped around Fuyo and forcefully picked him up from the tree branch. He couldn''t see what had grabbed him because of his fat and inconveniently sized body. He tried to turn his neck around but his body just didn''t seem to want to turn that way. He was flying through the air and the ground was getting further and further away. "Is it a bird? Am I really going to die? I only just got here. Dammit, this is an unfair start to life." This world was full of twist and turns. Inside he felt frustrated that bad things kept happening to him. "I thought bad things only come in threes? Isn''t this a bit excessive." He yelled at the heavens. But it was no use because no one could hear him. "What are you mumbling about down there? Your mama is really angry. You''ve done it this time. Just wait until we get home." "Huh? This thing seems to know who I am. My mama, I have a mother?" He quietly thought to himself. They continued to fly through the forest until a yellow diamond came into view. It was made of paper like material. Similar to the material you would find in a wasp nest. It was huge, thousands of meters across and hundreds of meters high. Fuyo noticed that there were hundreds of these along the borders hanging from giant trees. Each diamond had little holes scattered across them in the shape of a hexagon. These beehives were military barracks. The entire area was covered by a yellow glow; it was like a force field of some kind. It didn''t stop them from passing but Fuyo felt like he was drenched in thick honey when they passed through it. "Okay, here''s your stop." The creature that was carrying him let go and Fuyo began to fly through the air and fall to the ground. His head face planted into the soil, it was a less than elegant landing. When he looked up he saw the creature that had carried him away. It was a bee, no wait a crow? It was a crow and a bee. A giant black and orange crowbee, it wasn''t like a normal bee or a normal crow. This crowbee had the body of a crow but it was stripey and had compound eyes like a bee.If you encounter this tale on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. He had a fearsome look on his face and scars all across his chest. He was obviously a veteran of war. He had a sharp beak, two bug eyes and two antennas; his entire body was orange and black from head to toe. This was the first time Fuyo had seen a creature like this. It was completely shocking and as images continued to resurface in Fuyos mind he discovered that this mafia like scary looking guy was his own Godfather! There were too many things to take in, he needed a reprieve, he needed time to digest this information but it didn''t seem like he would get the chance, because at this moment a fat and plump honey bee flew down from the sky. His wings fluttered and pushed as he struggled to keep himself in the air. He had a snout for a nose and tusk protruding from his face. He looked almost boar like. Streams of sweat flowed down the side of his head. The fat bee struggled to land safely and it triggered his past memories. Shibo? "Of course it is I, Shibo the great Pigbee. Who else could it possibly bee? But plump old Pigbee me." He smiled as he laughed with an expression that said "I am the most entertaining person in the world." Fuyo smiled, he liked this personality, it was vibrant and interesting. As a man of politics he had very little interactions with eccentric people like Shibo. From the images he just saw it would turn out this fatty is actually his friend. The structure and hierarchy of bee society was complex and unfamiliar. Shibo belonged to the Pigbee clan, his Godfather Don Corleone was a member of the Crowbee clan and Fuyo belonged to the Caterbee Clan. There were many different factions among the bees and they were separated into different garrisons based on their rank. Some bloodlines had stronger and more dominant traits, this lead to a natural hierarchy with some bloodlines reigning over the others. For example, the Pigbee clan is extremely powerful, their bodies are heavy and their muscles are proud. "Haha, you got caught sneaking out again. Did you find him?" Shibo asked. "Wait, who was I looking for again?'''' "Your father silly, did you slip and hit your head?" He laughed. "Indeed, I seem to have hit my head pretty hard." Shibo looked up at down Fuyos body and noticed the various cuts, bruises and dried up blue blood. This made fatty mad. "Grr, was it those three again?" He went into a mad rage. Fuyo watched fatty''s emotions surge to the surface, they were genuine. He started jumping and down on the flowers, he was obviously heavier than he looked because each jump caused the earth to crack and shake slightly. Fuyo thought to himself, "This fatty is definitely a trustworthy person, his personality is eccentric but he is simple and straight forward. Its decided, he will be the first general of my bug army." ¡ª¨C Chapter 6 - A shriveled corpse "First things first, I better head over and apologize." Fatty''s face turned pale when he heard these words. Apologize? What madness! Fuyo would never apologize to those three bullies. Did their beatings finally get the better of him? Has he become a coward? Did they cut off his family jewels? Shibo couldn''t accept it. "Don''t worry friend, I won''t let you live this way. I will send you to the next life like any good friend would." He leaped out fist flying, his fist weren''t very fast but they were heavy like a mountain. One strike could incapacitate Fuyo, he couldn''t resist it with his current body so he had to dodge. His awkwardly shaped body made it hard to complete quick movements. He utilized subtle movement from the Gurren martial arts and moved in an almost transcendent way. The fist came toward him like a mountain but something strange happened after that because the fist never hit. In fact it seemed to assist him and push him out of the way. Fuyo moved through the air like a piece of paper. "Thin like paper, sway like leaves." By utilizing the force of the punch he became a leaf in the wind, letting the force carry him away from the blow. "I can''t let my friend live like this; I know you would rather die than live without your Jewels. So, I, as a true friend will save you face and send you on your way." "Jewels? What Jewels? What are you talking about?" "Sigh, it''s as I feared. He''s so distraught about losing them that he forgot he is a man." Fatty didn''t delay a second further, his sharp barb like tail sprung out from the back stabbing towards Fuyo. At this time Fuyo was still falling through the air. The subtle movement technique is great against blunt moves but against sharp piercing attacks that cut the wind, it was basically useless. The wind churned as that fearsome black barb came shooting towards him. Fuyo applied some weight to his lower body and pinned his feet to the ground. He stood in a mountain stance. "Firm like a mountain, Mountain Stance. Hot like an iron, Iron Skin." He instantly balanced his center of gravity and strengthened his body. His stance anchored him to the ground and his skin burned like a hot iron. Even a little steam was being emitted from his skin. This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version. Boom! The barb collided with Fuyos stomach and Fuyo looked at Fatty with a look of astonishment. "How can this be?" Fuyos Mountain Stance was easily broken and his Iron skin did nothing to stop the barb from penetrating. As soon as felt the barb pierce through his Iron skin he instantly activated Totemic God. This was the strongest defense he could muster but even with his instantaneous reactions and strengthened body his skin was easily cut through as the barb pierced deep into Fuyos abdomen. Blue blood flew from his mouth and splattered across Shibo''s pig face. Fuyo had no idea what was going. "Why are my moves so weak?" Even when he used Crimson Shadow it felt like he was carrying a mountain on his back. "Maybe I don''t have enough energy to use the moves." He hit the nail on the head, his body was simply too weak to perform the moves. His thoughts flew through his head at lightning speed but he still took too long to realize this fact. A strange sight unfolded as his entire body shriveled up in the air like a prune. He was no longer a fat caterpillar but a wrinkled, shriveled, half dead one. All the calories he got from eating were instantly burned away. Totemic God was activated for 1 Nano second and it burnt all his energy. That means using Totemic God for a second requires a billion times the energy he used up. How ludicrous is that! His mind worked faster and faster. Hundreds of thoughts flew through his mind in a split second. "It wasn''t like this back home; even with my new body I should be able to perform martial arts to a certain degree." "The amount of energy that drained out of me just now was insane. Totemic God is the art of vitalizing cells. By taking energy absorbed through food and feeding it into your bloodstream you can temporarily make your body as strong as humanly possible." He pondered these thoughts as his falling body finally collided with the ground. "Are martial arts different here?" He stared at the sky, his body aching in intense pain. "Fuyo, what''s going on? Why did you shrivel up! I was only joking, how did you end up in such a state?" Fatty instantly regretted his actions. "I only used a sliver of power, I didn''t mean too. Honestly, I didn''t. Fuyoooo!'''' He started crying loudly as his little wings pushed his body towards Fuyo at a frightening speed. "Why didn''t you dodge my attack? Can it be you lost your will to live? I was only joking, I didn''t realize you were really suicidal. Awoooo, don''t die Fuyo. Please don''t die!" He snorted at the moon and cried. ¡ª¨C Chapter 7 - Two opposing forces "Urgh, I should''ve dodged instead of blocking, I was overconfident. What''s wrong with me? I''m really off my game. I feel like an idiot." He mumbled under his breath. It was quite normal for him to be off his game, he was still stressed from dying and transmigrating. He coughed up a mouthful of blue blood and slowly pulled himself up. "Awoooo, Fuyo! You are alive. I''m sorry; I thought you would''ve dodged." Snort "I was just trying tah" snort "knock some sense back into ya." "Why didn''t you dodge? You are all scruff''d up and there''s a big hole in your stomach. But more importantly, you can''t apologize to those three wantons, I won''t let you!" A look of seriousness was plastered on fatty''s face. "So you are saying that''s more important than the gaping, giant bleeding hole in my body?" Fuyo sighed and coughed up another mouthful of blood. "Who said I was going to apologize to them in the first place? I''m going to apologize to mother, baka." Fatties face turned pale as he muttered, "Oh, your mother? Then I better let you get to back to it." He propped up his little wings then flew off at top speed without offering a single word of apology. "What a strange fellow, maybe it''s best not to include him in my army. He might kill me on a whim." Fuyo looked down at his wound; it didn''t seem to hit anything important but it was still bleeding quite a bit. Fuyo noticed a little black and white light jumping around within his blood. It seemed to burn his blood and slightly slowed down the bleeding. If he left it alone it would probably stop bleeding and close up in a few hours, but by then he would have bled to death. He started wobbling down the pathway. In front of him were massive palisades spanning several hundred kilometers. The gates were made of white crystals and appeared very strong, they were 6 meters high and behind the walls were various 30 meter high guard towers. Seeing the gates trigged another memory flash in Fuyos head. ¡ª¨C "''Attack!" roared a red bee. He lifted up his four arms, gathered up his energy and slammed it down. Red energy flew from his palms and blew away 300 white bees. The bees that were struck directly had their bodies burst into red flames. It was a frightening scene! Despite the horror Fuyo was excited. "Magic!" Fuyo exclaimed in his heart. Bees can use magic in this world. What kind of crazy concept is that? If he had a human face right now, his smile would be akin to a smiling toddlers. This novel is published on a different platform. Support the original author by finding the official source. His smile rose so high that his cheek nearly strangled his eyes. These deadly red flames matched this bee, he was ferocious; he had sharp white teeth, two horns protruding from his head, his wings were transparent black with red veins pulsing up and down them. They were sharp unlike normal bees; his tail was long and at the end of it laid a sharp bee stinger. It was easy to see the advantage this bee would hold over bees. His stinger wasn''t stagnant; it could attack from a distant and each attack had more freedom. His teeth were sharp, his wings could move faster, and his magic was frightening! That sort of power was incomparable to anything Fuyo had seen before. With his Gurren combined with Tengan Toppa and Lagann''s sword he could theoretically cut down 100 people in a baker''s breath. Of course he never tried this out, he never had the chance! But this little black bee had done three times the damage in less time than it takes to blink. The white bees started to run around in a panic, they quickly made their way towards the gates. Sirens started sounding out as guards flew into the air with weapons in hand ready to defend their village. A white color formation with hundreds of various symbols appeared in the sky and covered the entire village. The white crystal walls slowly eroded and gave their energy to the shield. It seems like the crystal walls are the power source for the shield but at this rate it wouldn''t last more than 2 days. If they couldn''t fend off the enemy in 2 days then the shield would break and the normal villagers would come under attack too. "Defend the city!" screamed a white bee guard. These white bees look very normal; the only difference is their pure white fur. Compared to the red bees with horns, teeth and tails they seemed very mediocre and docile. The red bees and the white bee guards were equipped with standard equipment, the left two hands held two shields and the right two hands held two rusty swords. Some larger bees held spears but that was it. There were at least 3 times as many white bees than red bees. But contrary to popular belief the white bees were actually losing the battle despite their overwhelming advantage in numbers. Fuyo couldn''t be certain, but he guessed there were around 3,000,000 white bees and 1,000,000 red bees. It was a very large army. "Pathetic! What kind of army is this?" Fuyo thought to himself. Among the red bees, only one was capable of using magic for large scale attacks. The other red bees paled in comparison. They mostly used their magic to strengthen their weapons. "Fools, what''s the point in strengthening rusty old weapons? You could polish a turd but it''s still a turd at the end of the day." It seems magic isn''t that easy to use, but that one bee who could wield its awesome powers could probably fight the entire army by himself given enough time. But something was strange; he was just hanging at the back of the group. Not making a move, just watching. He didn''t issue anymore orders or use anymore magic attacks. After 2 days of intense fighting, the shield started to show signs of breaking. 10 or so age old bees flew out from the village center, sat down cross legged and started meditating. Energy ripples started to emit from their bodies and the fluctuations in the shield stopped. The intense battle continued on for another day. The elder bees started to show signs of wear and tear. Their bodies had started burning away their fat as they held the shield up. If this persisted for another week then they would turn into shriveled corpses. But Fuyo couldn''t stand it, he had enough! ¡ª¨C Chapter 8 - Frozen in time The white guards made Fuyo cringe. Their fighting ability was terrible. They didn''t seem like an army but more like a hastily thrown together high school basketball team. Fuyo couldn''t understand why they were so useless? They could fly and they have twice as many arms as humans. With such an advantage you would expect a fight scene straight out of a martial arts movie but that''s not what he got. Even the red bees disappointed him. The only reason the red bees were winning was thanks to their biological advantage. Their long barbed tails were a potent weapon and it was easy to attack from a blind spot with them. But they weren''t using any type of strategy, they just attacked viciously. If they used a few army tactics then they could have ended this war long ago but Fuyo was forced to watch on for 3 long days. At night the armies would retreat and recover from their wounds, in the day time they would resume fighting. In the end, only 10,000 red and 32,000 white bees had fallen. If things went on like this then the battle wouldn''t end for another year. He didn''t know why but he couldn''t escape this flashback no matter how hard he tried. If he had really been inside his thoughts for 3 days then he would have bled to death. He concluded that not much time had passed in the outside world because he was still alive and breathing. But the boredom he faced over these last 3 days was unbearable, he wanted out, he had enough. It seems he wasn''t the only bored one because the magic wielding red bee finally made his move. He drew a magic circle on the ground using his own blood, the various lines and etchings made the shape of a double hexagram. At each point there was another small circle; in those circles he placed tiger-eye spirit stones. The blood turned into red light and shun like a crimson sun. The red light condensed and then shot up into the sky splitting apart the clouds. The light dimmed and disappeared, and the circle started to swirl inwards like a whirlpool as it gathered momentum. "Summoning Jutsu!" the red bee yelled as he slammed his hand onto the seal. The symbols vanished and burst into a cloud of white smoke that spread across the entire battlefield. The fog wouldn''t affect the battle by much because bees can see electric charges allowing them to pinpoint other bees in close proximity. You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story. Fuyo thought the fog would be a perfect way of hiding your army''s movements and formations. Of course these bees didn''t think of that. They lacked the charisma and wits a real army would have. "Hueeerrrrrrr" a loud roar echoed out across the battlefield. The roar was so powerful that it dispersed half the smoke in the area. "Wh..wh..what was that?." Muttered a guard who seemingly lost his wits. "Yuwaku got sick of waiting. He summoned him already, dammit!" One of the red bees yelled. He also had a tinge of panic across his face. Instead of continuing the fight, he flew high into the sky apparently running away from whatever made that loud roar. "Hueeerrrrrrr" That same loud sound echoed out once more. This time the roar pushed away the heavenly mist revealing the figure that made that ghastly sound. Its footsteps made the ground shake. It walked forwards neither fast nor slow. Its overbearing aura made it hard for them to breathe. The creature had a hard shelled back that glimmered with a black sheen. Its six powerful legs were like barbed tree trunks, each step left a vivid footprint in the hard dirt. In the middle of its head was a giant protrusion. Fuyo had actually seen this creature before. It was a giant Rhinoceros Beetle! It towered over the bees; it was at least 100 times their size! But that wasn''t the most shocking part about it. The front horn was long, powerful and straight but at the tip it split in two different directions creating three crescent shapes. In the middle of each crescent was a floating energy ball. One was a flame, the other was earth and in the middle was lava, a combination of the two! The beetle lifted its head to the sky, opened up its jaws and... "Hueeerrrrrrr" This time the roar was many times more powerful and seemed to carry its fighting intent. All the bees in the surrounding 100 meters were restrained by the pressure and lost the power to resist. They fell to the ground like a puppet with its strings cut. The spiritual pressure emitted from the beetle spread through the battle field, red and white bees alike were forced down onto the ground in subservience. They couldn''t resist, they could only lie there painstakingly bearing the brute force of that unrestrained spiritual power. The bees outside of the pressure zone continued to fight viciously. The beetle marched forward and picked up a nearby red bee. Chomp! One bite and it ripped the red bee into pieces. It then moved onto another, and then another, red and white bees alike. No one was safe! It devoured them as easy as chewing candy. Their screams rang out as they were eaten alive. "No, Sai! Please spare me!", "Sai, the enemy are the white bees not us. Urgh!" It was useless; nothing could stop this killing machine. Things were looking grim, even Yuwaku who summoned the beast was visibly afraid. Bringing this beast into battle was akin to bringing a double barrel shotgun to a knife fight, except one of the barrels faced your enemy and the other one faced you. If you pulled the trigger you would hurt yourself too. ¡ª¨C Chapter 9 - Not so fast! The beetle continued to devour its way through the crowd. It started shooting flames from its horn. Then it would use earth magic to bring the roasted bees towards itself like a conveyor belt. It was a very efficient method of hunting. 10 minutes passed and it managed to eat more than 5,000 red and white bees. If this went on then they would all die. At this point a voice was heard from inside the village. "PISS OFF!!" A powerful voice screamed out and shook the earth. The force behind the voice broke the spiritual pressure emitted from Sai the Rhinoceros Beetle. This gave the bees the ability to move again. They quickly flew into the air and streamed back towards the village, hiding safely behind the barrier. The red bees felt the pressure alleviate from their bodies too. They quicly escaped Sai''s suppression zone. "Damn that Yuwaku! He''s only a sergeant yet he dares to treat us privates and corporals like fodder?" The red bees were furious at Yuwaku but due to their different military ranks they would never have the chance to dispute his actions. The elders would ignore their complaints. "Urrrghhh..." Sai grew visibly afraid from that shout. He turned around and started to run away. "Where do you think you are going?'''' Snickered a voice in contempt. This voice seemed to come from nowhere, it wasn''t Yuwaku that said this but someone from behind him. "Are you going to let the little bees walk all over you?" Sai stopped his movements. Visible sweat fell from his black shell skin. He turned around and yelled "Hueeerrrrrrr!" His provocation worked. Sai dug his massive legs into the ground like a tree taking root. "Hueeerrrrrrr!" This roar was many times more powerful than any other but it was unable to bring the bees back down to the ground again. They continued to flee at top speed. Seeing this scene Sai grew offended "Mere bees dare to run from me?" The flame and earth energy globes burst and grew many times more powerful. The charge of energy caused ripples to appear in the air. It was like heaven and earth was condensing onto the tip of his horn. The more that the power condensed, the more Sai''s body began to shrivel up. It looked like he was using 100% of his power which was affecting him physically, causing all his body fat to burn rapidly. But it was barely noticeable because his shell concealed most of his body. The flame and earth melded together forming an even stronger lava energy ball. The heat was so intense that the grass began to wither. The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. "Hueeerrrrrrr!" It roared like a dragon as a condensed molten lava beam shot from its horn. It turned the surrounding 100 meters into a lava pit. It looked like the inside of a volcano. The beam shot forward and drenched more than 50,000 bees. The bees that were hit melted away along with their weapons. One by one they let out screams of pain but nothing could save them now. One could only imagine how terrifyingly hot the lava beam was. Sai moaned and then fell to the ground completely exhausted. The man who provoked Sai before flew forward. He seemed to appear from thin air. "Your strongest attack and you only managed to kill 50,000? We don''t need trash like you..." He flew onto Sai''s head, lifted up his leg and stomped down on it. Crack, crack, splash! Sai''s skull cracked and then his head exploded into bits and pieces. The surviving bees felt their heart sink when they saw this. Sai was so powerful yet he was killed in a single move by this fearsome man. Unlike the bees, this person was conniving and intelligent. Every time they summoned Sai they would have to pay him an exorbitant price. Even the tiger-eye spirit stones he gave to Yuwaku for the summoning formation were worth a considerable sum. He waited until Sai used up all his magic power and then killed him. Fuyo is already acustomed to these sorts of battle tactics so he wasn''t surprized. But what surprised Fuyo was that this person was not a bee. He was a human! This human could fight head to head with Sai but he would exhaust a large amount of his energy and might even suffer some injuries in return. So he used this round about tactic to kill him. This world is a cruel and merciless one. You let your guard down for one second and you could find yourself strangled by the cold hands of death. Fuyo learnt a lot from this battle, he thought magic power was endless but it obviously wasn''t. That''s why Yuwaku didn''t participate in the war. He saved his strength in case things went wrong; he preserved his power so he could flee. What a coward! Now Yuwaku had lost his position as the most notable person on the battlefield. There was a new mysterious figure and this figure was incredibly powerful. This powerful new person wasn''t much bigger than a bee. Either this human was really small or bees in this world are really big. Yuwaku looked at the new figure that appeared. This figure moved extremely fast, "C..C...Captain Deddo!" "I didn''t expect you to come out personally. I could''ve handled them you didn''t need to..." The Captain cut him off. "I''ve been here the whole time, watching from the shadows. Originally, I wouldn''t have come out but now the situation has changed." A serious look was hung on Captain Deddo''s face. "Princess Kaguya, I didn''t know you had returned to the village. I offer my sincerest apologies on behalf of the Blood Demon Sect. Everyone retreat. NOW!" His voice spread across the entire battlefield, the force seemed to shatter the air itself. His voice was so powerful that the sound waves were actually visible! The sound spread through their bodies awakening their senses. His words seemed to contain a secret power, it made the red bees blood boil and they were visibly faster. It was similar to Fuyo''s Boiling Blood technique except this was applied to an entire army! This guy''s power is no joke. This was a buff spell but this instantaneous burst in strength came at a price. The bees would be bed ridden for 2 weeks while they suffered in pain from its aftereffects. Once the bees felt the spell envelope their bodies they knew this was no laughing matter. The spell was only used as a last resort, it was a last ditch effort for survival. The 900,000 plus blood demon bees swarmed in all directions as they fled in a panic. Then that voice sounded out again. The same voice that made Sai wet his pants and made the Captain come out from hiding. "Not so fast!" ¡ª¨C Chapter 10 - Princess Kaguya Returns Boundless pressure spread out, it felt like a mountain had hit them. The pressure was specific and only targeted the blood demon bees. One by one they fell from the sky crashing into the ground. Despite their sudden increase in power they couldn''t fight against the mountain like pressure enveloping them. It wasn''t anything like the pressure emitted by Sai. Sai''s pressure was shocking and it restricted their movements greatly but this pressure froze their blood. They didn''t find it hard to breathe, they found it impossible to. They felt like they were being strangled from the inside out. The pressure was unbearably cold; they felt their bones freezing and then cracking under the pressure. Psshhh... Psshhh...Click...Pssshhh...Click...Crack... The blood demon bees'' bodies turned into ice statues. 800,000 had escaped and fled in all directions. 100,000 were pinned down unable to move. The reason Captain Deddo used this powerful buff spell wasn''t so they could get away. He knew that a lot of them had no chance of escaping; he wanted to use them as a distraction so he could escape by himself. But he never expected Kaguya''s power to reach such a frightening level in the three years she had been gone. In less time than a baker''s breath 10,000 bees had been affected by the ice cold aura and it was spreading rapidly. A white light shot into the sky and moved at a speed impossible to see clearly with the human eye. The only thing visible was a blur. Kaguya lifted her sword high into the sky as she spoke the following words. "I go away for a few years and you think you can lay hands on my territory? Dream on!" She threw her crystal sword in to the ground; it slashed through the air and landed at the center of the battlefield. "Amidamaru, kill these recreant fools. Asgardian Seal!" The sword seemed to hum in agreement. An illusory image appeared on top of the Amidamaru sword and hovered in midair as it grew in size. Sword spirit. Fuyo recognized what it was instantly. He had heard stories about sword spirits but it was only a fairy tale on the lonely planet. Sword spirits were said to only exist in peerless swords or swords that were so loved that a sword spirit formed. He wasn''t too shocked about seeing a sword spirit, it seems like anything was possible in this world. The sword spirit grew larger and larger until it was 100 meters high and stood aloof among the clouds. He wore a long robe, much longer than himself. It was blue and white like rain and snow, similar to imperial robes. They gave off the feeling of something otherworldly, he had a cold expression on his face as he floated in mid-air. A massive array sprung up in the sky as hundreds of characters flew from the sword and swirled through the air. It spread across the entire battlefield and sealed half the fleeing red bees inside it. They couldn''t smash through this barrier with their puny strength. Now they were trapped and couldn''t escape the ice that was slowly spreading. Kaguya peered into the distance and noticed Captain Deddo had already run more than 50 kilometers away. "Cocky brat, by coming here today you have sealed your fate. Don''t blame me for being rude." Captain Deddo was burning his life blood in order to increase his max speed by 3 or 4 times. By doing this he was significantly shortening his life span but living is more important than dying so he did so without hesitation.Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. Kaguya chased after him. She noticed how fast he was moving; even with her incredible speed he was still a bit faster. Her eyes lit up and her body faded away from reality as it seemed to exist but at the same time it didn''t. Her skin turned into clear ice like crystals and she flew higher and higher into the sky. She held up her hand and started condensing energy. An illusionary full moon appeared behind her back and in her hand appeared a sharp and long ice spear. She stretched her arm right back and then threw the spear with all the strength she could muster. As soon as her hand retracted and let go of the spear you could hear the sound barrier break. It flew through the air with incredible speed, the air was visibly cut from the terrifying ice spear. It was like a hot knife in butter. The spear sped forward leaving behind a trail of ice and snow on the ground. Phewww.... Stab... Drip.... Psst... Crack... Boof... The spear pierced through Captain Debbo''s back as he fled and cut through his chest. He coughed up a mouthful of blood as he flew through the air. His body smashed into a tree and the spear pinned him to it. The ice spear spread its cold power through his body freezing his blood. "Arggggh!!!!" He yelled in frustration. "''You dare kill me? The Blood Demon Sect won''t leave this matter alone. They will hunt you down and kill you." He scoffed, his eyes bloodshot as he coughed up another mouthful of blood. "Let them come, anyone who dares step a single foot in my territory with malicious intent, will face my judgement." Captain Deddo''s teeth clattered. He was hoping he could talk his way out of this but his threat didn''t work. She flew down from the sky and after a few moments arrived next to Captain Deddo. His entire body was now covered in frost, he was a lot stronger than the bees so it was taking longer to kill him. Kaguya summoned the illusory moon once again and gathered energy into her hand forming an ice spear. When Captain Deddo saw the moon his entire body started pumping blood at an insane rate. His teeth grew longer and sharper, his eyes grew larger and the pupil turned yellow. Grey fur started growing on his body and he grew long ears from the top of his head. His entire body was undergoing a transformation. ''Werewolf? NO!'' Kaguya grew fearful from this sudden change. He wasn''t human he was a werewolf and the moon triggered his transformation. When werewolves transform their strength increases by many times. He gathered all the energy in his body to a single point, he knew he couldn''t escape this calamity. If he was going to die then he would at least take her with him. He burnt all his life blood and forced the power into his heart. His heart started to glow red as it heated up under the power. Kaguya finished condensing the ice spear in her hand and lifted it over her shoulder ready to stab it through Captain Deddo''s head before he could finish his transformation. But his tail suddenly swept out from beneath him as he jumped high into the air. She dodged the tail and jumped back, but then his heart exploded and the energy wave flew towards her. "Long live the King!" A smile spread across his face. These were his last words as his body instantly withered and shrank into a shriveled corpse. His life blood was completely used up so he lost all his years of longevity, on top of that his body had its energy reserves tapped and absorbed by his heart. The energy from his exploding heart was like a laser beam as it aimed straight for Kaguya down below. This move is something only blood demon wolves can use. It''s called blood sacrifice. Once its used the werewolf will die. It''s what makes werewolves such fearsome creatures. This suicide attack, boost their own power by several times on top of the transformation power boost. On a full moon werewolves become overwhelmingly powerful foes, a single werewolf using blood sacrifice could wipe out an entire army in their transformed state. Seeing this scene Kaguya panicked, she flew backwards at an incredible speed burning some of her life blood in the process. But it wasn''t enough, she couldn''t dodge the red hot explosion staring her down. She had no other choice, she crossed her arms over her chest and said quietly, "Frozen Cloud, Immortal Ice Tomb!" Her body started freezing rapidly, in 2 minutes her entire body would be encased in ice. Frozen Cloud, Ice Tomb is a way of cryogenically freezing your body. But the beam hit in almost the same second she activated it. Boom! A large burst of flames scorched her body and blew a massive portion of her stomach away, the laser hit the ground burning a massive hole into the earth. The Frozen Cloud, Immortal Ice Tomb showed its worth as it protected other parts of her body. Her entire lower body melted away but her heart and brain were safe. The power of blood sacrifice is simply unimaginable. It cleanly dug a 10,000 meter deep pit into the ground. Amidamaru felt their spiritual connection grow weak, he felt the power behind it and a look of worry spread across his face. "No!" He screamed. But he couldn''t undo the Asgardian seal, it only had two rules either the caster dies or his enemies die. Originally he was going to wait as the Ice spread and slowly killed them all. He set it up so they couldn''t escape. But things were different now. He started a one way rampage as he slaughtered his way through the blood demon bees. They were defenseless and most of them couldn''t put up a fight but he didn''t care. His Princess was hurt and he needed to make sure she was safe. ¡ª¨C Chapter 11 - Proud daughter of Heaven In the village there were several Elders. Most of them were old bees that had survived the harsh competition of Bee Country. Many of them didn''t bother to help support the protection barrier, after all no one would hurt them even if the village was attacked, they were much stronger than the average soldiers here. The only ones that went to defend the village were the actual residents themselves and the Elders that were born and raised in this village. This village had barely any spiritual energy so nobles wouldn''t want to live here. The reason all these noble elders had gathered was due to a rumor that Princess Kaguya was returning. Among them, was a Grand Elder that held the title of Archduke which is a few ranks higher than Captain Deddo. Captain Deddo held the rank of Marquis but the difference between them was like Heaven and Earth. The Grand Elder could easily chop off his head so cleanly that not a single drop of blood would touch his sword. Even though they were being attacked he never lifted a finger to stop them. Everyone knew about his cold demeanor, his name was Pietra Fredda which means cold stone. A quirky nickname that perfectly described his personality. Wars happened quite frequently in Bee Country. The Grand Elder had lived a long time, experienced numerous battles over the years and grew immune to its effects. Wars aren''t frowned upon in Bee Country; they are encouraged because the Bee population grows incredibly fast. With more than a thousand Queen Bees in Bee Country one could only image how many new Bees are born every day. Without a culling every now and then the population would be uncontrollable. Despite this, the Bee Country was vast and beautiful. Bees are natural pollinators so despite the destruction they cause, the grass, flowers and trees grew back with incredible speed. In a month, you wouldn''t even know there was a large scale war here. One thing Pietra Fredda didn''t quite comprehend was the reason for the attack. This village has never been attacked before because it''s resources are extremely poor, the spiritual energy around the area was basically non existent that''s why the majority of the citizens here are weak and brittle. For a village this size they should have at least ten or twenty million spirit warriors but that wasn''t the case. It''s amazing that a genius like Kaguya could actually grow in a village like this. Back inside the Asgardian Seal things had really heated up or cooled down in a sense. "Primordial Return, Jotun!" He yelled ferociously. His veins grew and pulsed with a blue light as energy moved around his body. His spirit grew tens of times its original size, his body reached into the very heavens themselves. Jotun was a seal that he placed on his soul to limit his own powers, now he unleashed his full wrath without holding anything in reserve. If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. "Heed my call, Ice Hell!" A massive surge of cold air exploded from his body. It was visible to the naked eye. The clouds in the sky started changing and condensing into massive snowflakes. The snowflakes radiated the power of bitter coldness and death. The cold fell from the snowflakes like rain as blue airwaves assaulted their senses and made their bodies completely numb. The spreading frost now spread even faster! His actions didn''t stop there as he continued to form more seals in the air. Different colored lights danced around his body like lightning. The light condensed and formed into various rings. The villagers and the guards watched on from the safety of their village. "Sp..Sp...Spirit Rings, and so many of them." Their Princess was definitely someone amazing to have such a powerful guardian spirit. "Hmm..." The Grand Elder frowned, "Kaguya sure has grown powerful, in a few more years she will surpass me. Her new sword spirit is fearsome. Where did she get it from? So many spirit rings and a domain to boot." At this point his heart felt like it had sunk. He didn''t know why but he felt a powerful energy wave blow from the direction Kaguya flew in. "Fire qi! Fire qi is the opposite of Kaguya''s Ice energy. Then it must be an attack from Captain Deddo." A trace of worry appeared. "Grr... It''s so powerful that I can feel the heat from here." The Grand Elder flew into the sky and sped away from the village. He didn''t care about anyone in the village but Kaguya was different, she was his own flesh and blood. He didn''t think she would have trouble dealing with Captain Deddo but that energy was fearsome enough to scare even himself. He grew visibly anxious as he cut through the air. His wings beat so fast that they were invisible. His heart started to ache the longer he flew. He could see the flames now, they continued to soar high into the sky reaching the 1,000 meter mark. It was like a radiant sun had crashed down to the earth. All of this happened in the space of a few seconds but it felt like time had slowed down. Tears streamed down the Grand Elders face but he didn''t know why. "She''s not dead is she? She can''t be dead!" He was only a few minutes away from her but he still burnt some of his life blood to increase his speed. Some of the other Elders took longer to realize what had happened so they stood there aloof, watching the battle inside the Asgardian Seal until they saw the pillar of flames. They started chasing after the Grand Elder but they were many times slower. Tears started to stream down their faces as well. Kaguya was their gift from Heaven, she was the most talented cultivator seen in years. The only thing she needed was time to develop. They huffed and puffed as their bodies spurred forth in desperation. She was like their own daughter, they dotted on her with extreme love and care. She was kind to everyone but her enemies. Even though she was a Princess she treated the commoners with respect. Everyone loved her. Not to mention her beauty, if there was no light then she would be the sunshine. Her smile would shine for a thousand miles. Everything about her was perfect, from looks to temperament, from talent to ability. Fuyo didn''t know what constituted a pretty Bee but if there was such a thing, then she was it. ¡ª¨C Chapter 12 - A mysterious group arrives Fuyo grew bored with the war. It was taking too long; he had been stuck in here for 3 days. He decided to fly around and explore the village. He flew through the air and visited various houses and shops along the streets. He was like a ghost, he could fly through the walls and no one could see him. There were many villagers scattered around, hiding in fear and hoping for the best. Of course, none of this was real that''s why he could go where ever he wanted. He saw a group of people standing guard by a window, they were acting very shady. They would look out the window from time to time and make sure no one was approaching the house. It was a seemingly normal house; a small one story shack with one window and a white picket fence. "Why would there be guards, guarding a place like this?" He flew through the walls and looked around the place. It was just a normal shack; the two guards stood by the window. Another three were standing around and doing nothing. There was a little kitchen with an open fire stove and chimney. A little long drop toilet and that was it, there was nothing else. "Well this can''t be right." Fuyo flew around but couldn''t find anything; they didn''t seem to be protecting any rare item or treasure. Out the corner of his eye he noticed that the carpet had a little crease, like it had been folded over more than once. He inspected the carpet and guessed there must be something hidden underneath it. He flew through the floor and found himself in a small basement. In front of him appeared a massive, metal door built into the hard stone wall. "A vault? What''s behind it?" He flew straight into the vault door, it was big and mighty but it didn''t impede Fuyo''s way at all. The vault was dug deep into the earth; in fact it wasn''t a vault at all, it was just a highly secure door. Behind the door was a large tunnel and at the end of the tunnel was a giant underground city. There were thousands of bees here. Their feet were tied down in chains and some got whipped by the guards for working too slow. Fuyo looked around and saw giant Gorilla Bees, Bull Bees and even Mole Bees! The Mole Bees were forced to dig massive tunnels deep into the earth, the Bull Bees were pulling big stones out from these tunnels and the Gorilla Bees smashed these big rocks into pieces. The Spirit Bees then sifted through the pieces and pulled out various crystal stones. Fuyo flew around but he didn''t know what they were mining. He had never seen any these items before. Most of the extracted rocks were white, yellow and tiger-eye. But among them, there were also morganite and even a few blue sea colored crystals. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. "What''s so special about these stones that they would utilize a massive slave army like this? They even built a giant city." He flew up and moved straight through the earth and appeared outside the village. He traveled very far inside the underground city and found himself quite a distance away. Close to the ground not too far from him was an extremely powerful group of people. "Who are these guys? Hold on, they look just like humans!" He was shocked that there were humans here. This group were neither bee nor human but donned a human like body with a large set of wings attached to their backs. Seeing them would stun anyone. Despite them having wings they were not flying but standing on thin air. They were just like Immortals! The group was made of old people, all of their eyes seemed to contain secrets of the universe. There were two elders with extremely muscular bodies and also an elder that wasn''t quite as old as them. He stood out a lot because he was obviously a lot weaker and younger than the people surrounding him. It looked like he was arguing with someone but Fuyo couldn''t quite see who. He flew closer and in front of this young elder was a caterpillar. "Caterpillar? Are they from the Caterbee clan?" Fuyo couldn''t help but ask himself this question. But there wings were not butterfly like at all, they seemed closer to devils. The strongest among them was Grand Meister Lao and he stood at the helm of the group. He wore a white sage''s robe and had a long white beard; he seemed just like a wise old Kung Fu Master. Behind him were a set of giant white leather wings. They looked menacing, almost demonic. Fuyo admired their features; they were completely human except their giant wings. It was so strange but he didn''t question the weirdness of this world anymore. Behind the caterpillar space started to distort. The young and weak elder suddenly coughed blood and passed out on the ground. Fuyo couldn''t make heads or tails of the situation. "What''s going on?" He was incredibly confused. Did he just have a heart attack and die? The space distortions rippled and twirled, then a bunch of hourglasses formed in mid air and floated there. They had purple sand flowing through them and in the middle was a little black tunnel that seemed endless. It felt like a portal to another world. "Where did all these come from?" Fuyo had never seen anything like it. "Is this hourglass magic? What''s the point in that? How useless!" Fuyo couldn''t help but curse. Magic was such a gift yet they wasted it''s potential by using it to keep time. One hourglass wouldn''t bother Fuyo but there were hundreds. "Is this guy obsessed with time or something?" The hourglasses all had sand and each grain fell at exactly the same time like they were in sync. "Looks like it''ll take 3 days for all the sand to fall through." Maybe it''s a countdown until he breaks free from this dream? He couldn''t help but have hope but he doubted his own thoughts because it didn''t make sense for an hourglass to appear and tell him when he was going to wake up. He couldn''t touch anything or interact with anything. He felt like a spectator trapped in a world that wasn''t his own. It was frustrating. A wind started to blow from the little black tunnel. A morganite crystal like the ones Fuyo saw in the underground mines started flying out. There were so many hourglasses and each of them had stones pouring out from them. They formed a big mountain of stones shocking Fuyo and even the elders that were there. "This...This is teleportation magic? Now that''s more like it!" He had a massive smile on his face, teleportation was actually something incredibly useful. Can you imagine a massive army teleporting right into the enemies territory without them knowing? But then he looked at the little black tunnel and couldn''t imagine himself fitting through that little gap. After the hourglasses finished spurting out massive amounts of morganite crystals they vanished. In the end there was only one hourglass left and on that hourglass it had a name. "Hong Long" ¡ª¨C Chapter 13 - Waking Up The caterpillar sucked up the mountain of stones into a magic necklace then the elders started flying towards the village. One of the muscly elders threw the passed out elder on his shoulder and another grabbed the caterpillar. "Let''s go find a place to stay the night while we wait for Kaguya''s return." At this point they saw a massive column of flames bursting high into the sky. Fuyo felt his heart tremble when he saw that pillar of flames but he didn''t know why. He looked around and saw a massive spirit slaughtering the blood demon bees and a shield trapping them from escaping. "What''s going on? What happened while I was underground." The muscly elder threw Bai''s body to the floor in front of the small caterpillar and said "Izon, look after him. You did this to him, it''s your responsibility." And then he shot off like an arrow cutting the wind. Grand Meister Lao had already left as soon as he felt the energy wave. He flew so fast that the sound barrier broke and the other Grand Elders were pushed out of the way. When the Grand Meister arrived the village elders were gathered around and crying, the Archduke Pietra Fredda held her ice like body in his hands. Half her body was blown off and the rest was encased in ice. The Grand Meister sent out his spiritual sense to analyze her body. Nothing.... No heartbeat, no pulse, her blood was frozen, her meridians were akin to cold ice, no energy pulsed through her body. She was completely lifeless. Grand Meister Lao Long felt regret, he couldn''t save her, he arrived too late. This group had secretly tailed her back to the village. They arrived many hours before her and waited around, he didn''t think she would get hurt from someone as weak as Captain Deddo. Gou Long arrived moments later; he was a doctor and gave the same prognosis. "She is showing no signs of life, she is dead." Archduke Pietra Fredda held his daughter in his arms. His head lent back on his neck, his mouth was open and his jaw locked in place as he silently cried at the sky. Even Grand Meister Lao shed a lone tear. Fuyo arrived 20 minutes later, even though this world wasn''t real. He couldn''t move anywhere near as fast as them. He didn''t know why, but he also shed tears. The world start to blur and changed, time started to warp and his eyes closed. He opened his eyes again and found himself in front of the village gate where he once was. It felt like he had been in the dream for a life time. He felt his face and tasted tears. His tears contained the emotion of sadness. He wasn''t a very emotional person but he was crying. He couldn''t explain it; he didn''t know the white bee that died so it shouldn''t have affected him when she died. He was even more confused as he woke up, because not only did he realize that the dream he experienced was not part of his own memories but no one''s memories. He wasn''t anywhere inside the dream, he had looked and searched but his body was nowhere to be found. He had full control of his body in the dream; he could travel around like a spectator and view the battle from any angle.Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. "Maybe this is my unique power?" He could see the floating group of powerful visitors even though they were invisible, float through walls and no one could see him. It wasn''t a flashback of his own memories so maybe it was a vision of the future? As his mind readjusted with reality he felt his stomach, he was still bleeding out. He spent days in the dream land but no time had passed by on the outside. It was a surreal feeling but he had to accept reality. He slowly made his way to the village; he was very familiar with the village because he spent many days in the dream browsing around the different buildings. He couldn''t interact with anything but he could fly through walls and see the town from a bird''s eye view. As he traveled through the hundreds of houses he found many interesting things, like secret dungeons and treasure vaults, even a massive underground slave mine. Something''s were different from his vision but a lot of things were the same. His body was still losing a lot of blood and the wound wasn''t healing fast enough, he ended up collapsing and passing out before he got to the gates. ¡ª¨C When he woke up he was inside a small shack, as he looked around he saw an old man in the corner. He held his head and muttered the same words over and over again. "S...save..hh.....sa...save." His words were sparse and broken apart, he said them with difficulty. His mind was a complete mess; it was easy to see that he was insane just from one glance. Fuyo recognized this old man; it was the same old man that held Kaguya''s lifeless body in his vision ''Pietra Fredda'' There was a small stove with a little fire burning and the fire seemed to be boiling a kettle. In front of the kettle was a small white larva chopping up a flower into pieces. She was extremely small like a fairy. She was at least 6 times smaller than a normal larva. The knife was held in her mouth because she had no arms or legs, her skin was translucent and there was orange energy pulsing through her veins. She looked a bit different but Fuyo was a farmer so he knew she a bee larva or something similar. It was quite a strange sight to see. Fuyo''s understanding of this world was limited but he knew that even bee larvae were many times bigger than her. He didn''t recognize this person but she obviously saved him. He looked down at his wound and noticed it had been bandaged and treated. "T...thank you." She turned around and looked at him, "It''s okay. What happened to you anyway? Aunt was really worried about you." "Aunt...Aunt who?" "Did you hit your head silly? Well, looking at your state you probably did. Auntie Kaguya? Your mother Kaguya...baka." She had a very pleasant voice; it was soothing to the ears. "Kaguya is my mother?" He thought to himself, now it made sense. That''s why he cried when she died, even though he didn''t know her, his body was reacting to her death. "Where is she? I''ll go see her now." "Are you alright? Did you really hit your head." She asked like she was talking to a stupid person. Fuyo didn''t know how to reply, he scratched his head and then said. "I lost a lot of my memories when I fell from a tree." "W...was it those three bullies again?" She spun around, looked him in the eyes and asked fiercely like she was ready to kill someone. When he saw her he was a bit surprised. "This is why Aunt forbids you from going to the Caterbee clan." She was so small yet she was telling him off. Fuyo found this quite amusing. "It isn''t much, but I found some blue sunflower medicinal grass." She said this while she turned off the kettle, filled up a cup and gave it to Fuyo to drink. She also had a cup for herself but it was only water. "So, how did you get away from them?" She asked curiously. "Uh... uncle..uh..Uncle Don." He couldn''t remember what he called his Godfather he only knew that Don Corleone was his Godfather. "Uncle Don? Who is Uncle Don?" She thought he really had hit his head; she had never met an Uncle Don before and they had lived together since they were born. "The giant Crowbee, Don Corleone." "D...Don CORLEONE!??" She dropped the cup in her hand and it smashed on the ground. "You are lying... Dad has been missing for 3 years, that joke wasn''t funny." Her eyes seemed to well up with tears as she said this. Then she walked out the door and left. "Dammit, what''s with this situation?" He didn''t know what to do and he didn''t know what he did wrong. ¡ª¨C Chapter 14 - You know nothing Jon Snow! He stared at the wall with a blank expression on his face. Uncle Don has been missing for 3 years? I really wish these memories would kick in and show me everything I need to know. I''m walking through this world like a blind man. He finished his herbal tea; he felt its power surge through his body. It was a magical feeling, something he had never experienced before. This tea was filled with spirit energy; it felt refreshing like a hot shower. Its power spread through his pores and made its way into his veins and become one with his bloodstream. He could feel the healing properties working perfectly. He would probably be completely healed in a week or so. "This world is really amazing! A simple tea can heal the body and cleanse the mind." Fuyo got off the bed and walked around the little shack. It was in a poor condition, there were no windows only holes, the wood was rotting, and there were holes in the roof so it probably leaked when it rained. It was quite tiny and only had one bed; there were two bed mats on the ground, more than likely used for sleeping. Who had dibs on the bed then? Fuyo had lived the life of a poor ruffian when he was a kid but he quickly developed his strength and took life into his own hands. He didn''t know how long it would take to regain that sort of power again. When he thought about his vision, Kaguya was a powerful being and the proud daughter of Heaven. The cowering old man in the corner also gave off the feeling of someone incredibly powerful. So why are they in such terrible living conditions if this old man and his mother were so powerful? A vision of the future. "Hmmm" So it hasn''t happened yet? That must be the case. He connected the dots, his mother wasn''t the powerful being she was in his vision yet so they were still in this precarious situation. His grandfather worried him though, how would he become anyone important if he''s insane? Does he recover his sanity at some point? All of these were pointless questions for the current Fuyo, he decided to push those thoughts out of his head and go exploring. Even though his body wasn''t in the best shape he could still walk around a bit. When he was browsing around the little shack he discovered a new ability. When he tensed his eyes his vision would change and the world would become clearer. It felt very natural to him. "Wow! Is this an innate bee ability? Awesome." When he looked at his surroundings everything was now a different color, he didn''t know what it all meant but he was sure he would figure it out sooner or later. Everything was many times more beautiful through this world of eyesight. He could see lights dancing in the sky like fireflies and energy radiating from the earth itself. He focused his eyes on a little light blob. His stomach started to rumble slightly. "Hmm, I wonder what they taste like?" As he thought of this thought his body was already walking over to the light blob. He put the light blob in his mouth like he was eating candy. Gulp.Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel. It didn''t have a taste but he felt the energy circulate through his body. "What a strange feeling!" "Is this magic power? I can absorb magic power now!" These thoughts circulated through his head as he came to a conclusion. "If I can absorb more of these light blobs I might become a flying Immortal." He started running around like crazy looking for more light blobs but they weren''t very common. The more he absorbed the more he felt his energy being restored. His injuries were being healed faster than he imagined, the more he absorbed the stronger he felt his body become. "Is this what they call Immortal cultivation?" His eyes were like a child that just opened his Christmas presents. Inside his mind he felt something like a barrier break, it shook his body like an earthquake but shortly after it calmed down and disappeared. He felt a refreshing feeling spread through his body, every step he took felt as smooth as marshmallows. If his guess was correct, then he broke through some kind of barrier inside himself. But it wasn''t anything bad, it actually felt good. What could trigger such an instantaneous transformation and surge in strength? He stopped what he was doing and closed his eyes to analyze the situation. After 5 minutes of analyzing he felt himself drift off. "Huh, what''s going on?" As he closed his eyes he entered a state he was unfamiliar with. "W..Where am I?" He looked around and almost fell over, he was inside a massive world. He looked down at the ground beneath him, it was fresh green grass. He was quite surprised with this development. But what made him even more shocked is that he was no longer a caterpillar but a human! I''m a human again? He was so amazed that he almost had a heart attack. He quickly calmed his emotions and adjusted his thoughts. "This isn''t a real world, it''s a dream. My surroundings are very blurry and not very solid. It must be inside my head." He quickly concluded this from observation. This world was no different than a fluffy dream. "Is this what they call meditation?" He hit the nail on the head; he had entered a state of meditation. He looked around and saw five giant rooms, each one was a library filled with books. They were separated into five parts and each of them had a sign that read. "The story of Fuyo", "The story of Fuyo ¨C Part 2", "The story of Fuyo ¨C Part 3", "History", "The Future" and a Library titled "My Endeavors." He flew over slowly and entered "The story of Fuyo" and wandered over to a shelf. Then he picked up a random book from the bookshelf and browsed through it. It was titled ''Day 18''. He sat down and quickly browsed through its contents. Inside were a few pictures but mostly writing. Fuyo grabs bottle Fuyo drinks Bottle Mother pats Fuyo''s back Fuyo burps Fuyo poops He instantly threw it on the ground. "This is a written account of my life, but it''s so boring and embarrassing. Couldn''t they have skipped the boring and embarrassing parts? It even has a photo of me pooping. What kind of sick pervert took the time to write this?" "You did." "W..what, who said that?" "You did." "Great, now I''m hearing voices." He snuffed and then walked out; he made his way to the second Library "The story of Fuyo ¨C Part 2", He looked through the books; there were so many book''s in this Library that it was simply impossible to look through all of them. He looked down one aisle and couldn''t see the end, it went on forever. How can so many books fit in such a small Library? "I wonder how many books are here exactly?" "3,650,000." "D...Dammit, I''m not hearing voices. Who is it?" "It''s you." "What do you mean by it''s you?" "By you I mean me, I am you." "What? Stop playing games." "I''m not playing games, you''re playing games." "Arrghhh.. Don''t play me for a fool, show yourself if you are man enough." "Hahaha, calm down kid, I''m just having some fun. I''ve been locked in here for so long without any entertainment; I''m just enjoying your reaction." "Alright, just tell me who you are and what you are doing in here?" "Well, I''m you in a sense. I''m your soul spirit." "My what now?" "Kid, you know everyone exist as three parts, mind, body and soul. This is common knowledge." "Wait, if you''re my soul spirit then what am I?" "You are the mind, the body can die but the mind and soul are eternal." "This is confusing, what happened to the previous Fuyo''s soul?" "The previous Fuyo? Umm, well I guess he passed on to the other side." "Wait... So there''s an afterlife?" "I don''t know kid, I don''t have all the answers, I''m only a soul." "You don''t even know anything do you? I will call you Jon Snow, It''s been decided!" "Damn brat, you don''t get to name me I''m not your pet or your child. I already have a name." "Then what''s your name smart guy?" "It''s... Uhh....Alduin." "You just made that up." "No I didn''t." "Yeah, you did." "Nuh, uh." "From now on your name is Jon Snow." "But!" "Jon Snow!" ¡ª¨C Chapter 15 - Transform Imagination; A true state of meditation "So, Jon Snow why are there so many books in this Library? Each one of them contains a days'' worth of history. 3.65 million days is around 10,000 years? Is this the history of the Universe?" Fuyo''s eyes lit up in excitement. He grabbed a book and flicked through it, he didn''t even check the title. Flew through space Flew through space Passed a frozen asteroid Passed through the center of a planet Flew through space "Uhh..." Fuyo mumbled. "What the hell is this?" He checked the title and it said "Day 29,513" Jon Snow mumbled as he thought about his new name. "It''s the story of our transmigration. It took 10,000 years for us to transmigrate." "T...ten thousand years?" "So what you are basically saying, is that our body, as in our past life ended 10,000 years ago?" Jon nodded in response, "Fuyo, our old host body is dead." Fuyo looked and him and then said in a ferocious voice. "During that entire time you recorded down every single bit of information. What possible reason could you think of to bother wasting time by writing down all this useless information?" Jon looked at him like he saw a ghost; he wasn''t expecting him to get so mad over a book. "I didn''t write it, they just sprung up one day along with that tree." Jon Snow snuffed his nose and flew off. He was only a spirit, he was formless being yet he could display such gestures. It was truly strange, it seems like he could manipulate his form at will. "They write themselves? That''s Interesting..." Fuyo left the room and flew straight towards the Library that said "The Future." When he got inside he realized that there was only a single podium and no shelves. The rest of the Library was empty. In the middle of the Library was a single book and it was already open. He slowly walked over, his heart thumped like a slow moving turtle. Each step he took felt like his last, there was an unbearable pressure and excitement in his heart. "M...my future, if I know the future then nothing can stop me. I will become God of this world, every mortal that tries to stand in my way and rebel will meet the edge of my blade. Cities will crumble, entire worlds will tremble at the sound of my name. Fear will be the only emotion associated with the word Fuyo. My name will become a taboo, just by its mere mention people will shudder and break out in a cold sweat. Like a Demon with unimaginable power, like a Kishin that devours worlds, like a God that punishes the wicked. I will be a pinnacle existence of which the world has never seen." He stood in front of the podium, his head dripping with sweat. "This is it." He looked down at the pages and his entire body froze, what he saw shocked him so much that he nearly coughed blood. His body started to shiver, his eyes blazing with fire, his teeth clenched and grinded. An overwhelming blood thirsty aura was emitted from his body, it felt an aura that would destroy worlds. What he saw was a little caricature, it had Fuyos head but it was bloated like a bobble head. He had massive buckteeth and he was wearing jesters'' clothes and hat. There was a speech bubble from his mouth and in the speech bubble it said "Lol xD got you sucker!"Unauthorized content usage: if you discover this narrative on Amazon, report the violation. "Argghhhh... Jon Snow you dog. Enough with your games!" He ran out of the room and flew around like a mad man looking for Jon Snow. He realized that this world was completely under his control. It was like a lucid dream and it felt magical. His body grew ten thousand times his original size; he started shooting fireballs in every direction trying to hit Jon Snow by chance. "You know, even if you hit me nothing will happen because this is all just a dream." "Shut up!" The skies started to churn and move, lightning fell from the sky and kissed the earth. "Fight me like a man!" Jon Snow appeared, he was only a small blob of white light but he grew a massive arm that stretched from one horizon to the next. The arm stretched out and solidified into gold, he reached back and slapped Fuyo right across the face. Fuyo went flying ten thousand... No, twenty thousand...thirty...forty...six hundred...twelve million...thirty three million meters! Fuyo hit the ground like a meteor, the planet was devastated. It was like a nuke hit the planet, it sent shock waves out in every direction. A mushroom cloud formed over the top of Fuyo''s body. His eyes went red; his teeth grew out like a sabertooth. "Rooooooooar!" Blood was dripping down his chest, he could see his rib cage and his beating heart inside. "How dare you bring harm to me!" "You can''t even feel pain here." Jon Snow scoffed. He summoned a sword and activated totemic God. His blood started boiling and his energy was forcefully vitalized. His wound was healing at an incredible rate and a giant beast appeared behind him. It was a black shadow with red eyes. This was the materialized form of Tengan Toppa, even he didn''t know how he summoned the shadow. In his world this had never happened, but in his mind his thoughts could go wild and do whatever they wanted. But before he could even move Jon Snow appeared before him, in his hand was a beautiful sword that seemed to be made from the moon. He held it up and slowly said, "36 Severings of the Lagann Sword." After he finished saying this, everything in the world seemed to condense onto the edge of the blade. It was quiet and silent, there wasn''t a big clash of power and no explosions. It was just like any other day, the sword cut through Fuyo''s neck like butter. There was no blood, it was a clean sever. Fuyo felt his head falling from his body and flying in the distance; he was unable to control his body anymore because it had been severed. Strike after strike hit his body and his head could only watch as his body was ripped to shreds under the immense power of the 36 strikes. Jon Snow disappeared into the clouds and Fuyo lay on the ground. Just a head without a body. He was fuming with anger; Jon Snow was playing with him. But after some time he calmed down and actually laughed about it. "Okay, I''m sorry. I lost my temper" He lay there contemplating the situation. "You have to admit it was a good prank right? I created the Library just before you came in." "Yup, it was great." Fuyo offered a sarcastic response but Jon didn''t mind. "You mentioned something about a tree?" Jon Snow flew down from the cloud he was hiding in. "Yeah, the tree formed when your body died. I think it has something to do with the seed you ate." "The seed? Hmm.." Fuyo reformed his body and shrunk back down to normal size. Jon Snow and Fuyo flew towards the tiny tree. It was a strange but beautiful tree, it had clear leaves that were translucent like glass but were soft to the touch. "You said tree? But this is more like a sapling. It''s a little stick with 2 leaves, that can''t be considered a real tree." "What would you know about trees? Trees at this stage are the most beautiful." Jon Snow''s body morphed and transformed into a human sage with long white robes and hair. He had four arms and two legs. In two of his hands he held a guitar, in the other two he held drum sticks. A drum kit materialized out of thin air and he started playing a slow beat to a sad tune. "I call this song, the sapling of love." The sun shines on our faces We were both from different places Two lovers, two races Before we fell in love Many moons have passed Since I last heard you laugh Your tears fill up the... "Wooh, hold on Jon. You got it all wrong!" Fuyo quickly interjected. "Sapling of love should be a happy song no? This is the time when lovers are learning to deal with their emotions after their love has sprouted. When they let their love for one and other overcome their differences and family resentment to join as one being." Jon felt like he had an epiphany, "You''re right, how could I have been so foolish?" He grew 2 more arms, materialized a piano, and then he started singing another song. Fuyo materialized a cream pie behind his back and he was about to smack that creampie right in Jon Snows face. But right then Fuyo awoke from his meditative state. In front of him was the little white larva, the same little larva that helped him recover. "Ah.." She freaked out like she saw a ghost. Fuyo''s expression was fearsome like he was going to cream pie her. He quickly realized he was no longer inside his dream anymore and wiped the fearsome expression off his face. "Oh sorry, I was dreaming." Chapter 16 - Dantian and Profound Veins "Dreaming?" "Yeah, I fell into a state of lucid dreaming when I was trying to understand the energy I absorbed. It was like meditating." "Meditating? You learnt how to meditate!" Her face looked like she saw a ghost. "Yeah, I think so. Why? What''s the problem with that." "Uhh...." She just started at him blankly. "Why are you lying?" She slammed her fist down onto the table. "First you lie about my dad and now you lie about meditating. It''s too much Fuyo, it''s too much." She stared at him in fury, her eyes held resentment and confusion. "Quench your anger." She told herself this over and over again until her anger dissipated. It was like watching an actor practicing his facial expressions; she changes her emotions very fast. Fuyo was a bit speechless, he didn''t know what to say. "Alright, let''s forget about it. I''m sorry for blowing up at you but it''s not good to tell tales about such things." Fuyo started to piece together the missing parts. Don Corleone is her father but he''s been missing for the last 3 years. There must be a reason he would disappear for so long, he looked vicious but from my memories he didn''t treat me badly. Then again, just because you are a good person doesn''t mean you will be a good father. It''s probably commitment issues. Fuyo nodded his head as he figured everything out. But he had to clear up the misunderstanding, otherwise things will just get worse. "Is there something that prevents me from meditating?" He asked as he put on an innocent expression. She almost tripped over, his expression wasn''t innocent at all. It was the face of a baby eating atheist! It was truly scary. Fuyo noted her reaction and realized he wasn''t very good at acting innocent in such a body so he stopped almost immediately. She quickly diverted her eyes and started speaking. "How could you forget? You were born with crippled profound veins." "I was born with crippled profound veins?" "Yes, that''s why you are unable to cultivate to the next realm." "The next what now?" Fuyo was confused, profound veins, realms? What does all of that mean. "How many memories did you lose?" She looked at him with a scrunched face and then she suddenly lit up like a light bulb. She seemed to piece together something. "Ah, I see." She nodded her head as she admired herself for working it all out. "It all makes sense now, your memories are all muddled up, that''s why you thought you saw Dad and you could cultivate." She nodded her head like she figured it all out. This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. "Let me explain it to you, Caterbees are just like any other bees. We go through four different stages; the first is the egg stage of develo......" Her thoughts trailed away from the conversation. "Wait, do you even remember my name?" "Uhh..." Fuyo started at her with a blank expression. "My name is Tuzai La Morto and we are childhood friends. Don''t ever forget it baka!" "Tuzai La Morto as in Slaughter the Dead? Vicious name for a little girl." He thought to himself. "Okay, Tuzai-chan. I got it, it''s etched into my brain." He nodded his head at her with a smile on his face. "T...T..Tuzai-CHAN? I am your elder!" She pointed her finger down at him and lifted her neck back like she was king of the world. Fuyo thought it was cute, she is so little yet she is his elder. He ignored her fronting and changed the subject. "So tell me about these stages?" "Ah...This amnesia sure is annoying, alright let me explain. At age 13 we have our birthright ceremony and at age 18 we come of age." "Okay, but what does all that mean?" Fuyo thought to himself that she was terrible at explaining things, is that supposed to mean something to him? "Isn''t it obvious? At our birthright ceremony we inherit our gifts, at age 18 those gifts mature and our power blooms. The first is called our birthright and the second is called coming of age." She seemed to sigh as she said this but Fuyo didn''t understand why she seemed so down. "So what does this have to do with cultivation?" He tried to lighten the mood by asking another question. "Energy exists all around us. Cultivation is the art of gathering that energy from around us and making it our own energy, this energy is called Qi." "I still don''t know where you are going with this." He said as he scratched his head. "Just shut up and listen okay?" Her eyes lit up like the passion of a teacher trying to teach an unruly student. She was thoroughly enjoying passing her knowledge on to someone else. "Because your profound veins were crippled you are unable to gather the energy from around you. That means you can''t transform into a Caterbee. If you had broken through to the first level of Qi you would be able to transform for a short time." "Oh, I see, it makes sense now. Wait, what do you mean transform?" She sent energy through her body, her blood boiled and her form started to change. Fuyo was stunned. "Damn that''s cool." She was no longer a larva but a full fledged bee? She looked a lot different than normal bees but Fuyo couldn''t place his finger on where he had her form before. Maybe she suffers from dwarfism and it warped her features? "Hypothetically speaking how would one use this energy to transform into a Caterbee?" She raised her eyebrow at his question. "Hypothetically? Well, you gather energy from your dantian and spread it through your profound veins." "What''s a dantian?" "Gosh, you really do know nothing. I, as your legendary elder will have to school you on the ways of the profound." "Legendary Elder? This kid sure is smug." Fuyo amused himself with this thought. How much older was she than him anyway? A few days? A few years? She''s a lot smaller so it''s hard to tell. "The dantian is the area where the energy you absorb gathers to, if you could gather energy you would be able to feel it. It would feel like a small spot in your chest where all the energy is concentrated." Fuyo decided to try feeling it; he moved his thoughts into his chest and discovered it was right there, a small little ball made of glowing energy. It wasn''t anything special, it was just a plain globe, and it didn''t even have a color. He looked closer and noticed it had ten layers, small circles inside a larger one like a matryoshka doll. The inner circle was white but the other nine were colorless. He wondered around his body some more and found colorless veins spreading out from his dantian. "These must be the profound veins she spoke of!" He started to manipulated the energy in his dantian, he pulled the white energy from the center circle and let it spread through his profound veins a little bit at a time. The white qi spread through his veins like a freshwater river meeting the ocean. His body started rumbling and his skin started crawling. It looked like he had hundreds of bugs crawling beneath his skin but he knew it was just his blood moving around his body. Tuzai stared on in shock, her lips were trying to say the words but couldn''t quite make it out of her mouth. "T...t..tran...s!" "Transformation!" ¡ª¨C Chapter 17 - Meridians Fuyo''s body underwent immediate changes and he felt his stomach shrinking up, he felt wings sprouting from his back and his face growing longer. He found his little arms grow out ferociously like a giant and instant growth spurt. He couldn''t believe what he was seeing. He had hands now, which would make everything ten times easier, and he had proper feet so he could practice martial arts again. "Raaaahhhhh!" Air spiraled around his body and was visibly pushed away from him. Boom! Fuyo''s body was no longer short, fat and stubby but a majestic and beautiful like a butterfly. "I..I did it!" He yelled with excitement and happiness. A second later he felt the energy he pushed through his veins stop, it was unable to move any further. His body started to collapse in on itself. Boom! He reverted back to his previous form. As fast as it came, as fast as it left. "Transformation! H..How?" She sent out her spiritual sense and it moved through Fuyo''s body. Fuyo felt like someone had dropped a bucket of cold water on him as the spiritual sense moved through his body like an x ray. Then it disappeared and she withdrew her gaze. "It''s true, your profound veins have been healed. Only gradeless profound veins but this is still amazing!" She paused her speech for a moment as she pondered her next words. Fuyo looked at her with wide eyes. "What was that I just felt? It''s like her spirit entered my body and scanned it. What a scary ability, it''s like I couldn''t hide anything from her." "You have broken through to the first level of Qi condensation. Unfortunately, all your meridians are still blocked. Without a single meridian open it would be impossible to maintain a transformation." She sighed as the excitement and hope faded from her eyes. "How did you fix your profound veins? Even though they are gradeless, it''s still a miracle!" "I...Ah, ate something yummy?" He didn''t know how to respond, he didn''t know how he fixed them either. Maybe it was the rebirth process? But he couldn''t tell her something like that. What would she do when she realized that this world''s Fuyo was dead? "Mmm...That makes sense; you must have found a heavenly treasure on your journey!" "Ahh, Tuzai-chan you mentioned something called a meridian..... What''s a meridian?" Fuyo was being introduced to new terms every second. He had to memorize all this information, it would be very important for his future growth and development. This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. "The amnesia really did a number on your brain." Her eyes were filled with pity. "Do you remember your mother at least?" Fuyo nodded. "Then that''s good." Her worried expression eased up a bit. "Meridians are the channels connected to your profound veins. A person with one open meridian compared to a person with 2 open meridians is like comparing a toad to a prince." She exclaimed, it was like her words weren''t a statement but a fact! "Doe''s one meridian really makes that much of a difference?" Fuyo couldn''t believe only one level difference could be such a big deal. "Yes it does. A person with two open meridians can gather energy twice as fast as normal. Do you know what that means? A person with ten open meridians can gather energy 10 times faster than a person with 1 open meridian because they have 10 different points for the energy to enter. If you try absorbing too much energy into one meridian you could damage it. So you have to take things slowly, but with ten meridians you can absorb ten times the amount of energy with the same amount of effort!" Fuyo was simply amazed. "S..so, p..people with all their meridians open?" He couldn''t help but ask. Tuzai started at him like she was looking at an idiot. "A person with all their meridians opens? It''s simply impossible; there has never been a bee like that. Do you know how many meridians there are?" "No... how many are there?" Fuyo wasn''t playing koi, meridians, dantians and profound veins never existed in his past life. "There are 64 meridians; if a person opened all 64 wouldn''t that be extremely unfair to the rest of the world? For every 1 day of training, a person with 1 meridian would have to train for 2 months to catch up to them. Luckily, no such genius exists." "Why don''t they open their meridians then?" "If they were that easy to open don''t you think everyone would have done so already? It''s extremely hard to open a meridian; it''s like trying to navigate through a maze that''s full of traps and dead endings. Even if you find the end you might walk right past it because it''s extremely small. If you make a wrong turn then you can permanently injure yourself. The meridians are extremely small points located along the 100,000 km''s worth of blood vessels." "Ah... I see, so they are that hard to find? Can''t we just ask someone who''s opened their meridians where they are?" "You could but why would anyone tell you? Information that valuable isn''t cheap. A lot of the clans monopolize information and even if you knew the area it could take five years to find its exact point because the exact location is hard to pinpoint." Fuyo nodded his head; it made a lot of sense. By withholding meridian information they could stop other clans from growing as powerful as them. And other powerful clans wouldn''t trade information between each other because they wouldn''t want to make the other side stronger. It was a power struggle! "Tuzai-chan how many meridians do you have open?" "You ask a lot of questions. Before you hit your head you didn''t talk this much." She chuckled and smiled before she sat herself down on the ground and continued talking. "I have eight opened meridians, four when I was born and four from my birthright ceremony. Most people are like you. They have no meridians open at all, so in some ways I can be considered a genius." "B..but.." He thought of his vision and saw the three million bees fighting. They had the form of a bee so they must have transformed. "Ahh.. You must be wondering why there are so many bees flying around right?" Fuyo nodded his head. "Like I said, there are two stages. First is the birthright ceremony, the second is coming of age. On your 18th birthday you will form a chrysalis and undergo a full body transformation for 3 years. When you awake you will no longer be a child but a full grown adult. This happens regardless of whether you are a cultivator or not." ¡ª¨C Chapter 18 - Ice Beauty "Show me where a meridian is? Maybe I will be able to find one by chance." Tuzai nodded. "I wouldn''t have bothered showing you before but things are different now. You have eaten a heavenly treasure and repaired your profound veins. Even if it takes 5 years to find it, it will still be good for your future development." She transformed only a part of her body and grew arms and hands. She grabbed a stick and started drawing her body. It wasn''t very detailed but it showed Fuyo the general area where it was located. He started meditating and sent his profound energy into his body and searched the area she indicated, he was in a deep trance and didn''t noticed how much time had passed. Rumble "Urgh... my stomach." He opened his eyes and found a flower and a pile of leaves. Tuzai had been out and gotten him something to eat. He didn''t see her around so he wasn''t polite and devoured the leaves very quickly. "Ahh... That really hit the spot." He licked his lips in satisfaction. He ate a lot faster than normal; he was obviously frustrated over something. "I thought I was a genius, it seems I''ve deluded myself with words of grandeur. I couldn''t even find a glimpse or a trace of a meridian. Will it really take 5 years?" He sighed at this development, in his mind he was hoping to find the meridians very quickly and then shooting to the top of the world as the number one genius. Tuzai walked in the room and saw that Fuyo had awoken. "You''re awake. You''ve been in meditation for three days." "Three days, really?" Tuzai nodded her head at his question. "Wow, these meridians are hard to find. It felt like I was only in meditation for an hour." "I told you so, but you didn''t listen. It''s alright though, I''m sure that you will find one eventually." "I hope so too, thanks for the grub." She smiled and replied "That''s alright, have you gone to see your mum yet?" "Ah... no?" "Baka, let''s go see her now. She''s been waiting." "Alright then, let''s go." They walked out together and left through the front gate of the village. When they walked pass the guards the guards seemed to feel bad for Fuyo and Tuzai because their eyes were full of pity. They followed a winding path into the forest. Along the way Fuyo made use of his bee vision and ate up lots of delicious little floating energy blobs in the air. "What are you doing?" "I''m just eating the energy balls to increase my cultivation." "You are just jumping around in the air biting at the air." "I''m using my bee vision to see them and eat them." "Bee vision? Bee vision only helps you find flowers easier." "What? So what am I doing with my eyes? Is it something different from normal bees? I''m definitely not imagining it because I can feel the energy circulating through my dantian." He thought to himself. "Maybe I''m a variant?" "You could be. If what you are saying is true then you can eat energy blobs? Then you can cultivate without opening any meridians. This will be useful until you open a meridian. But don''t try and use your qi because your body might explode." "Explode, how?" Fuyo''s body might explode? How fearsome... "Qi can only be projected out of your body through your meridians, if you try to do it without any open meridians, worst case serious your body will explode. It''s the same with someone that tries to use too much power at once, they can cause their meridians to crack and break apart."The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there. Fuyo was shocked, he sudden realized why his body shriveled up when he used totemic god. The energy had nowhere to escape to but lucky his energy was insignificant to do any damage. "Meridians play a big part in combat too. A person with 10 meridians compared to a person with 1 meridian can use ten times as much energy in the same amount of time. If they were to go head to head then the person with 1 meridian is doomed to die." Fuyo realized how important meridians were now but he still had questions on his mind, she said something about gradeless profound veins before. "You said that I have gradeless profound veins. What does that mean?" "The quality of profound veins determines how strong your attacks are. I don''t know all the details but there are no grade, low grade, mid grade and high grade profound veins. My own profound veins are mid grade. Mid grade means 30% of the energy I absorb I can refine into my own energy, it also means that the energy I use is only 30% of its potential." "Enough with the 21 questions, you talk too much." Fuyo still had lots of questions and lots of time to kill, he decided to keep eating the energy blobs since she wouldn''t answer any more questions. They walked for almost 12 hours. "How much further? Why is she all the way out here?" "Why? You don''t know why?" "I.. uhh forgot." "You will see when we get there." He continued do devour energy blobs. 4 hours later Fuyo felt the inside of his dantian explode. Boom! He looked inside his body and found that the white energy ball at the center of his dantian had doubled in size. There were no longer ten layers anymore but nine. The center layer and smashed through the second layer and filled it with white qi. "Tuzai-chan can you check my dantian?" She eyed him with wide eyes and her spiritual sense scanned his body. He once again felt like his body was covered in ice cubes as her eyes wondered through his body. "H..how? You broke through to the second Qi level! I didn''t believe you before but it seems you were speaking the truth. But still... it''s only been a day and you already broke through? How is this possible." She lost herself in deep thought but still couldn''t figure it out. "Maybe its...Fuyo eat another energy ball." "Okay.." He nodded and ran to the closet energy ball and ate it. Her spirit sense spread through his body, she couldn''t see the energy balls in the air but she could see the energy being absorbed into his dantian. "Amazing, the amount of energy you just absorbed into your dantian is equal to how much energy I can refine and I''ve already undergone my birthright ceremony. At this rate you could break into the spirit realm in only 3 months!" They came to an opening; there were no trees in the surroundings. The dirt was burnt black and in the ground was a giant hole, 100 meters in radius. Fuyo was shocked at the scene and realized what was going on. The images he saw weren''t a dream of the future they were a dream of the past. Kaguya and the army, the fight, the old man, the floating strangers, all of it was a vision of the past. That''s why they lived in a little shack. Their family had fallen from grace, Kaguya was badly injured and on her last breath, the old man went crazy from seeing his daughter in such a state. "This is the reality of war. You can''t let your guard down for a second." Fuyo lamented, it was a sad sight. They climbed down a ladder, the further they went down the colder it got. It''s like they were entering an icy hell. "Who?" .... A bone chilling voice sounded out from the deep abyss followed by an unearthly cold that made ones heart shudder in fear. "Fuyo and friend." "Ah....which friend?" "Fuyo only has one friend baka." "Haha, I''m just joking. Come on down." The bottom of the hole was pitch black and it was impossible to see more than an arms distance in front. Tuzai held her arms out wide and then chanted a magic incantation "Child of Light, show us the path." Her hands lit up as qi rushed out. A little light sprite appeared out of thin air and danced around "hehehe.." it laughed like a child and ran around. Its body was made of pure light and it lit up the dark surroundings. In front of them was a ghost spirit sitting on the toilet reading a newspaper? "Umm.. do you mind?" The ghost had a face of shock and disgust, like it was looking at two perverts that it caught peeking at it. Suddenly a rock flew from Tuzai''s hand and hit the ghost spirit right in the face. "Ow." "You baka, spirits don''t need to use the toilet!" "Ahahaha, I''m just joking, just joking Tuzai-chan. You don''t have to hit little old me." Fuyo recognized this person; it was Amidamaru the sword spirit! "Hey Fuyo, your mother had a bad feeling something happened to you." "Something did happen to him." Tuzai quickly interjected and snuffed her nose. Amidamaru and Tuzai continued to bicker back and forth while Fuyo walked forward towards a giant wall of ice. Inside that giant ice was a young girl frozen in time. "M..Mother?" Her body was lifeless and it didn''t move at all. "Are you alive?" "..." There was no response. "Mother?" "ss....ss...son" Gasp The voice was so weak and fragile, but it possessed an amazing power like it was being spoken right into his left ear. "Mother, I''m fine see. Don''t worry, about me. I will find a way to free you from this ice prison." "You.... Left ... me... all...alone" crunch. "N..no, I had an accident. I hurt my head and..." crunch. "You...abandoned me..." crunch. "No!" "And now I''m going to eat your cookies!" "NOOO! NOT MY COOKIES!" crunch. "Wait.. what?" Fuyo turned to his left and found Amidamaru floating there whispering into his ear while eating cookies. Fuyo was not amused. ¡ª¨C Chapter 19 - Princess of Ice and Snow "She can''t speak; she can only talk through me because we are connected via spirit." He stared at the wall with a blank expression on his face. "Tuzai said you lost your memories? That''s unfortunate, at least you are alive. The princess had a dream of you falling from a tree and dying. That''s why she was so afraid." Fuyo just stared blankly. "Why aren''t you speaking? Come on, that joke was funny." Fuyo: "..." "Fuyo?" Fuyo: "..." Amidamaru grabbed Fuyo''s shoulder and turned him around. "Fuyo are you al...arrgh wtf!?" Fuyo had equipped his fearsome innocent face and scared the living daylights out of Amidamaru. "Hahaha, that''ll teach you. How do we break her out of this ice?" Amidamaru sighed as he said "Only a Skylord has the power to break the ice, this ice isn''t normal ice. It''s the Ice of the Snow Phoenix. Long ago your mother encountered a dangerous enemy; although he died in the end, with the last of his power he launched a surprise attack. Your mother had no choice but to summon the Ice Phoenix and use the ice profound seal. The ice profound seal was many levels beyond her power; in exchange she traded her remaining life span and future potential. Do you know why she did this?" Fuyo shook his head. "She did it for you. At the time you were still a little egg inside her, she could''ve burnt all the energy in her body and escaped with only a few flesh wounds but then she would''ve been like a battery with no charge. Because you have the blood of a spirit bee flowing through your veins you would suffocate without a constant flow of spirit energy. She realized this the moment the attack was launched. That''s why she chose to activated the Ice Profound seal. Unfortunately, the more she used her powers the less she was able to hold back the ice. In the end, all your brothers and sisters died. You were the only survivor, it almost took your life too but Kaguya refused to give up. She exhausted all her energy to help you survive and in the end, you did. But your profound veins were crippled and her entire body was frozen in time." People sacrificing themselves for me again? It''s just like my past life. And even in this one I can''t repay them for the love they showed me. "You said I had brothers and sisters?"This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience. "Yes, in the beginning there were 12 of you. But they never hatched; they all died in the womb." Fuyo felt himself getting chocked up; he didn''t expect to have siblings. But it was already too late, they were dead. "As I was saying, only a Skylord has the power to melt the Ice of the Snow Phoenix. You would also need a rank 6 healing pill and a rank 7 life extending pill to heal her wounds and extend her life force. She only has 3 seconds of life left; if she is unfrozen then her life force will burn up so these pills are extremely important." Fuyo had a goal, he wouldn''t wander aimlessly through this world anymore. His plans for world domination would also have to be put on hold. For now his goal would be to become a Skylord and learn the Dao of pills so he could create these pills to heal her. "So how do I become a Skylord?" "A Skylord? A Skylord is a great being with overwhelming power, with a wave of their hand they can call storms and create earthquakes. They can make the sky fall before their knees in worship. Unfortunately, because your profound veins were damaged you don''t have any hope of reaching the Skylord stage." "Well that''s good then because they have been healed. So how do I become one?" "Healed?" Amidamaru raised an eyebrow when he heard this. He sent his spiritual sense out and checked Fuyo''s body. It was a true! "How .. did?" Tuzai cut him off because she already knew his question. "He found a heavenly treasure and it healed his profound veins." "Ah, so that''s the case." He nodded his head to Tuzai, their relationship seemed pretty good. Like a big brother and little sister. "Still kid your meri..." This time Fuyo cut him off. "Yes, I already know about my meridians. I will open them one by one and reach the peak of power so that I can help mother break free from her Ice prison." "Ah... well, your hearts in the right place but kid, do you know how many years it would take to reach the Skylord stage? You will die before you ever get there, especially with your talent." "No, I have no idea about cultivation realms and how long it will take to get there. But trust me, if there is a will then there is a way, I will work hard to achieve this goal. Even if it takes a life time." His words were proud and it made people want to believe in them. "Well said, then let me tell you kid. First you have to break through the ten layers of Qi condensation, after that is the Spirit Realm, followed by the True Spirit realm. Skylord is realm so far away you can only dream about it. Do you know how many Skylords there are in Bee Country? None, there isn''t a single one. It''s not only hard, it''s close to impossible but here''s the thing. It''s not impossible; if you are lucky enough you might find some heavenly opportunities and make it there." Gulp The more Amidamaru spoke the more excited Fuyo got. "Then I will be the first Skylord of Bee country." He stuck his arm into the air and made this profound statement. His words were filled with confidence and overwhelming charisma, like a God that had descended to the mortal realm for sightseeing. The fire in his eyes was undeniable and unquenchable. "I like your spunk, with unwavering determination like that you could do it. What do you think?" Amidamaru turned to Kaguya. A light shun from her eyes and entered Amidamaru. Amidamaru''s form changed and turned into a white spirit bee. It was a Kaguya! She turned around and hugged Fuyo tightly. "Don''t grow up too fast alright." She kissed his head and brushed her hand through his hair. Her image then changed and the mist swirled and turned back into Amidamaru. "She can only maintain her form for a few seconds; she will have to sleep for 3 months now." "Okay then, when she awakens I will surprise her by breaking into the True Spirit realm!" ¡ª¨C Chapter 20 - Yellow Orb of Energy "True Spirit realm? You are only at the second level of the Qi condensation realm. How are you planning to do that?" "How? I don''t know but I''ll figure it out." Fuyo smiled. They left and arrived back at their little shack. Fuyo dragged many flowers and leaves back to the hut to eat and then started meditating. He appeared inside his inner world again, this time is was very different from what he remembered. There were giant buildings everywhere and hundreds and thousands of cardboard cut outs of Jon Snow on every corner like civilians. Fuyo decided to ignore it, he flew into the air, found the library and then flew over. "Jon Snow, do you know how to open meridians?" He appeared from thin air, sitting on a floating cloud. "Nope, how would I know? I''m only a spirit." "Well, you''re pretty useless ain''t ya?" Fuyo shook his head and looked away. "Hmph!" Jon Snow snuffed his nose up and then said "I might not know how to open meridians but I know something you don''t know." "What is it?" "You''re gay, hahaha." Jon Snow floated away on his cloud, his laughing slowly fading away. "Wow, how mature." Fuyo flew down and entered the library "History" When he got inside he realized that his flashbacks were contained in here, including a book filled with information when his mother got frozen. This could come in handy in the future. He flew over to the Library "The Story of Fuyo ¨C Part 3" He was slightly surprised; these weren''t his memories but the previous Fuyo''s. He spent a short time reading through some of the books, he wanted to find out exactly what had happened when Fuyo died and why he was out there. "Hmm, my dad huh? So that''s why I kept going to the Caterpillar village, I was trying to find my dad." He sighed, not only was he born into a useless body but his dad was a deadbeat. He didn''t worry about it too much and exited his inner world. "I can''t spend 5 years finding my meridians; I need to figure out an easier way to locate them." He decided to leave the shack and go explore the forest; he wanted to test out his bee vision a bit more. "I wonder how my profound veins were fixed; I don''t think it was the transmigration." He continued walking through the forest with his bee vision activated. It wasn''t normal bee vision; it allowed him to see energy so he decided to call it qi vision. The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. With his qi vision he found plenty of white orbs but it was too slow. "Beast have qi, so their meat should contain qi. Too bad I''m too weak at the moment otherwise I would hunt some down. That would be the best way to increase my strength. There must be another way, I can''t continue to progress this slowly. I already had a handi-cap put on me when I started. But now things are different, huh what''s that?" In Fuyo''s vision he found a yellow energy blob floating in the distance. It wasn''t like the white energy he had seen before, he started to chase after it. Maybe it''s a different flavor? Chomp "Mmmm..." The energy made its way down his throat and circulated through his body just like normal. "Oh, it doesn''t seem to be anything special." He continued in the same direction he found the yellow blob and discovered even more of them appeared around him. He didn''t know why there were so many yellow ones in this area but he continued to eat them like a maniac. After an hour he felt his energy building up. But he decided to ignore it and kept eating. After 3 hours he felt another explosion similar to the last time. Boom! "W...what was that?" He scanned his body and inside his dantian, it was no longer 9 nine layers but 8. The core had broken through the third layer and fused with the center. He was no longer at qi condensation level 2 but level 3. He was pleasant surprised. "How did this happen? I''m sure I shouldn''t have broken through for at least four or five days yet I did it in only four or five hours." He sat down and started to stabilize his new power after an hour passed he opened his eyes again. "It''s the yellow orbs; they have to contain a higher level of spirit energy otherwise this wouldn''t be possible." Fuyo''s eyes lit up like he discovered gold. He started running around even faster, chomping down all the orbs he could find. But after another four hours they were nowhere to be seen. "I can''t have eaten them all? Could I?" His eyes started to dim, the excited expression that was on his face before faded away. He felt like he was flying before, now it''s like he was sinking in a mud. "Maybe there are other areas with yellow orbs? It''s too early in the day to give up now." He encouraged himself to look on the bright side. He was just about to leave when he noticed a little yellow smoke on the ground. It was coming from the center of a tiny little pound. It was barely noticeable and the water wasn''t anything special. He lowered his head down to the little pound and realized it was a lot deeper than it seemed on the surface. "My arms are too short to reach down and the pond is too narrow for my body. Tuzai will fit down with plenty of space to spare but it would take me 3 hours to get back. The forest is vast and wide, I might not be able to find it a second time." "So I have to check it now? But how do I get down?" Ahh! A light bulb appeared on top of his head. "I''ve got it, hopefully I don''t end up regretting this." He activated Totemic God and felt all the energy in his body being used up and his body visibly shrinking by more than 4 times. Instead of a caterpillar he now looked like a worm. "Ah... This..." His voice was extremely hoarse but he was glad his meridians didn''t explode. He slid down the hole butt first. "It isn''t deep enough to drown in, that''s good." He smiled and climbed out of the pond. He then slid down head first, at the bottom he could feel various rock like things. He gobbled them all up and then pulled himself out of the pond. When he got out he spat out all of the things he collected. Using his qi vision he noticed they were glowing bright yellow but without his qi vision they were just normal yellow crystals. "They are glowing yellow because they are full of spirit energy I assume. What are these things anyway? The yellow crystals are just like the ones I saw in my vision of the past." He didn''t know what they were but they had to be something good. His body was exhausted from using up all his energy so he started eating all the surrounding vegetation. It wasn''t enough to replenish his previous body fat but it still gave him enough energy to make it home so he could rest. Tomorrow he would try another spot and hopefully find some more yellow orbs. Their quality was a lot higher than the white orbs of qi. It was getting dark so he made his way home with the yellow crystals in tow. ¡ª¨C Chapter 21 - Like money falling from the sky When he got home there was a pot on the stove boiling some random flowers Tuzai had found. It smelt delicious. He wondered where such a perfect woman came from, he didn''t know what she did during the day but she was caring, loving, kind, cute, quirky and funny. She would provide food for him and look after him when he was hurt. He felt quite useless in comparison, he wasn''t a genius anymore. He was just poor old Cultivation Bug Fuyo. "Ah, you''re home. Have you been out gathering energy?" "yuhgh, ahgh brk thrh gagehn" "What?" Pah, pah, pah.. He spat out the yellow crystals in his mouth, he didn''t have pockets so he had to carry things in his mouth. "I said yes, and I broke through again." Fuyo smiled but she never seemed to hear anything he said. "Where did you get these?" She almost jumped at him when she saw the yellow crystals on the ground. "What? These yellow things? I found them in a little pond." "Th...These are yellow spirit stones!" "What''s that?" Fuyo thought it must be worth something but he didn''t know what they were called or what they were used for. She had such an excited expression on her face so he knew he did a good job bringing these back. "Yellow spirit stones means money. A white spirit stone can be exchanged for one silver, a yellow one can exchange for ten and you have ten of them. That''s one gold!" Her breathing was erratic like she was going to have an asthma attack. "Is that a lot?" Fuyo had to ask, but judging from her expression it must be a lot. "Well, no. It''s not but I only make 5 gold a year from my day time job. It''s like 10 weeks of wages dropped out of the sky. Wait, you said you broke through again? How is that possible." She instantly sent out her spirit sense and scanned his body. "H..how did this happen?" "It''s incredible right!" Fuyo laughed and lifted his head to the sky. "Incredible? Your cultivation is gone." "My cultivation is what now?" He quickly sent his spirit sense into his body and found that it was just like she said. His cultivation was completely gone. Not even the first layer of Qi condensation was there. All ten layers of his dantian were empty and clear like glass. If you find this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the infringement. "How could this be..." Fuyo almost passed out, all his hard work vanished without a trace. "Did you eat something you shouldn''t have?" Tuzai had to ask, she too couldn''t make sense of the situation. "No, I only ate normal leaves and... Well I had those yellow spirit stones in my mouth." She shook her head. "That wouldn''t be it then, spirit stones are used for increasing your strength. They wouldn''t have an adverse effect like that. Are you sure you never ate any weird looking flowers?" He nodded his head. "I''m sure, it must be something else. Wait, you said they can be used to increase your strength?" "Yeah, they are full of spirit energy that''s why they are called spirit stones. But you can''t absorb the energy in them because you have no open meridians." "Can''t I just eat them?" "Eat them? Spirit stones absorb energy, if you try to eat them then they will absorb your energy and kill you. You have to drain the energy from them little by little." Fuyo felt a bit down, he had this great treasure but couldn''t use them. "However, you could trade them in for herbs or flowers with high spirit energy content. But 1 gold isn''t really enough for anything amazing, it is however good for daily necessities like food and clothes." "Okay then, I''ll let you sort everything out. You said you work, what do you do?" "I work as a store hand and help the local alchemist, hopefully he will teach me how to make potions one day. But I have to ascend first because brewing just a single potion could take more than 12 hours and I can''t maintain my transformation that long." She sighed but then her expression changed when she saw the ten yellow spirit stones. "Okay, let''s have dinner first. Tomorrow, I''m going to go shopping." She rubbed her hands like doctor evil. She was going on a shopping spree tomorrow! Fuyo realized her reaction but he didn''t mind, it was useless to him at the moment. All he needed to do was get strong. But his cultivation was gone, how did this happen? It would terrible if this happened again. That means he would never get stronger. They ate dinner and then went to sleep. In the morning he headed out into the forest once again, this time he made his way in another direction but he never found more yellow orbs even though he searched for six hours. He ate a lot of vegetation and in no time he was back to his plump old self. He broke through to the first qi condensation level and was half way to breaking through to the second level. But it was getting late so he went home. He woke up and this time he went out again, but it was another uneventful day. He didn''t find any yellow orbs but he successful broke through to the second qi level after 12 hours of painful running and jumping to collect white qi orbs. Just from his daily actions, one couldn''t help but admire his determination and hard work. But he wasn''t as excited this time. He couldn''t shake the feeling that his cultivation might reset. It started growing like a bad fear and it make him slightly depressed. It was getting dark so he made his way home; his head hung low so he didn''t pay attention to his surroundings. He wondered slightly off the track and found another pond, unlike the last one this had little white smoke being emitted from it. He activated Totemic God once more and shrunk his body down to a thin like worm. He dived down head first. There were many more rocks at the bottom of this pond, many times more than the last one. He couldn''t help but feel excited, it slightly alleviated his sadness. It was too dark to see what he collected up so he made his way home. His mouth full of hard stones. Chapter 22 - Making a small fortune in only one months time When he got home Tuzai was shocked once again. "How do you keep finding spirit stones?" "I don''t know. Luck I guess, when I found the small ponds they weren''t very noticeable. I nearly missed them the first time I walked passed." On the ground was a small pile and he started counting them up. 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 12, 16, 22, 33, 34. "34 white spirit stones, that''s 34 silver!" It was a third of what he brought back two days ago because white spirit stones were only worth a tenth of a yellow spirit stone. If he made money at this rate, wouldn''t they be rich in a years'' time? It was a nice thought and it made Tuzai excited but she knew it wouldn''t last. You can''t be so lucky every day, there would be many off days just like yesterday when he found nothing. "We should invest in something that can make us more money in the future, otherwise we will be stuck in a cycle of working and saving, never getting anywhere." Tuzai nodded her head but she didn''t have any ideas where they could invest money that could help them get a good return. "How much is it to purchase a farm? Farming is always a good business." Fuyo wanted to start another large scale farm in this world. In his past life he loved farming and he was building up a massive farm to feed the gigantic army he was planning on raising. He didn''t know how important farms were in this world, after all bee''s can just suck nectar from flowers so they don''t eat vegetables. But maybe they could grow flowers for nectar. Tuzai shook her head "Farmers don''t make a lot of money and it''s really hard work." "We are bees aren''t we? We can pollinate the fields and help them grow faster." Tuzai nodded her head but then said "That''s true but there''s also the risk of ruined crops, bad weather and rampaging beast. We might even get thieves that sneak in and eat our crops before they are ready. Like the Caterbee clan, uhh... Obviously not you though." "It''ll be fine, you said you wanted to become an alchemist right? And herbs are quite expensive so we should grow our own, then you won''t have to worry about it." "Herbs aren''t that easy to grow but it''s definitely worth a try." A light began to twinkle in her eyes. "A good sized farm could cost ten thousand gold pieces, that''s 1,000,000 spirit stones." "W...what? So expensive. How much land does that buy?"Reading on Amazon or a pirate site? This novel is from Royal Road. Support the author by reading it there. "It depends, but around 250 acres." "Only 250 acres?" "The price is so expensive because we are inside the Bee Country protection barrier. If we were outside of the barrier then we could start a farm anywhere. But outside of the barrier is a death sentence because there are many ferocious beasts that could kill us just by looking." Ferocious beast that can kill by looking? What kind of power is that! "That''s definitely not an option, we don''t have the means to survive by ourselves but the price is really outrageous. Can we lease the land?" "Yes, 250 acres is 25 gold a month." "It''s not a lot of space but it''s a good start and it''s a lot more affordable than a million spirit stones. Then this will be our goal from now on." "How do you plan on finding that much money? If you find 25 white spirit stones a day on average you would still need 100 days to pay a month''s rent and that''s a soft estimate." "Yeah I realized that fact, the only thing I can do right now is to get stronger and find more resources. I''ve already reached the second level of qi, I''m sure things will get easier once I break through to the spirit realm. My body will have more energy and I will be able to move around faster." Suddenly he felt her spiritual sense scanning his body. "Your cultivation has gone back to nothing again, this is really strange." "It''s what? Nooooo!" Fuyo would be tearing his hair out if he had hair. "This is so frustrating, why is this happening? Is it due to my blocked meridians?" "No, I don''t think that''s what it is. Some people have eaten heavenly treasures without having opened meridians and maintained their increased level their entire life. Maybe your energy vision uses up cultivation levels when you use it. After all, it''s a unique ability that only you have so it might have some repercussions. After all, great power doesn''t come without a price." Everything made sense now, his energy vision would give him the power to see energy but also use tremendous amounts of energy to see them. Such a large amount of energy that it made him dropped cultivation levels. But he couldn''t give it up now, money was important and it helped him find spirit stones. He decided to collect money for a month before he continued to level up. In a flash a month had passed by and he had shockingly gained a large amount of spirit stones. During this time he found 3 yellow orb gathering places he liked to call spirit abodes. From these spirit abodes he found a total of 65 yellow spirit stones. On top of that he also found 600 white spirit stones. It was possible to exchange them for 12 gold and 50 silver. But it wasn''t enough, if he continued at this rate he wouldn''t be able to get stronger or make enough money to hire land and grow herbs. He was in a dilemma. He searched his dantian again and confirmed that his dantian was completely empty. He had already done this three times before, but he was hoping that it was just his imagination. He wondered around his body some more and stopped suddenly... Tuzai was watching Fuyo as he scanned his body, she also froze when Fuyo''s expression changed. Did he find something? He had the look of discovery and wonderment written on his face. "Did you find a meridian?" She couldn''t help but asking. Her hands were shaking, it seemed to be true. If he successfully opens his meridians then he can start walking the path of a true cultivator. It would be nothing but beneficial for him. But he shook his head. "It''s not that. Why don''t you have a look yourself." Her spiritual sense scanned his body for a while, looking around his dantian but didn''t notice anything out of the ordinary. "I''m not sure what I''m supposed to be looking at, is there something different?" "Look at my profound veins." Her spirit sense entered his body again, but this time she nearly bit her lip. "Low grade profound veins! But how?" ¡ª¨C Chapter 23 - Milky White Profound Veins "I... have no idea how." He scanned his body again, from his head to his toes and it was true. His Profound Veins were no longer colorless; they were a pure milky white. This was a complete metamorphosis from before, it means he could refine 20% of the energy he ate and absorbed. His future cultivation would be much faster and it would benefit him greatly. "It''s one miracle after another with you, I''ve never heard of anyone''s profound veins leveling up outside of their birthright ceremony and your coming of age ceremony. This can only be good news, we should celebrate!" She jumped out of her chair as hundreds of thoughts flew through her head. "We should have a celebration tomorrow with meat, music and alcohol; it''s the only true way to celebrate!" Fuyo said, this was how he celebrated in his past life. He didn''t celebrate much but when he did he always had a good time. Good food, good music and great alcohol. "Meat, music and alcohol? For one what is alcohol and two... Bee''s don''t eat meat, three I can''t sing. Can you?" "If there is no alcohol then we will have to make some. Although, they could take some time and it doesn''t matter if you can sing or not, what matters is the feeling that music brings and what, we don''t, why wouldn''t we? That means we are missing out on the succulent taste of fried meat cooked to perfection. It''s such a shame..." "Fried meat?" "Yes, you can''t tell me that you''ve never heard of fried meat right?" She shook her head, she had never heard of such things. "You take the meat and you fry it? In a frying pan? How else would you eat meat." "Uh... I''ve never had meat before but I would guess exactly how the beast eat it. Dripping with blood, guts and gore, it''s the only way I''ve seen things eat meat. Bee''s like us only eat drink nectar." "No, no, no, no... That''s not how you eat meat, only some meat is good raw, but the best meat is cooked in a special way. Nectar is nothing in comparison to the heavenly gift of meat. Is there anywhere I can buy some meat to cook?" Tuzai shook her head, "No, but the relic masters might have some. They capture and kill beast but they only use their bones to make cultivation relics and the rest is thrown away." "Thrown away? How dare they!" The following day they set out early in the morning and made their way up town, they wore their brand new clothes that Tuzai stitched together last night. She had never knitted before but with the excess money lying around she developed a new hobby. One had to say she was shockingly talented, anything she felt like doing she could do. These new clothes she made were made of cheap material, but under her hand they began to sparkle. They seemed like a Prince and Princess walking down the street. The Bone Pavilion was a high class establishment, they couldn''t tarnish their reputation by looking mediocre. They slowly made their way to the Bone Relic refinement center. "Bone relics? What are they?" "Bone relics are just like their name suggest. They are relics made from bones; they contain massive amounts of energy. Many times'' more energy than spirit stones and they can be absorbed easily. But they are quite pricey. It is one of two great professions of Bee Country. First is Alchemy, Alchemist make potions and pills. Second is Relic Masters, they turn beast bones into bone relics. There are also World Spiritualist but our village only has one so it''s not considered a great profession since he wont teach anyone. He can lay down powerful defensive formations, the formations can ward off attacks or gather a higher quantity of spirit qi." She moved her hands around as she explained.Stolen novel; please report. Fuyo was quite surprised, he didn''t think things like that existed. It''s definitely something he had to look into in the future. It was quite a long walk from their shack, they were walking for 9 hours straight. Fuyo didn''t expect it to take so long. He was fed up but they continued down the path, he ate random blots of energy and broke through to the first level of qi again. Finally they arrived. It was a massive pavilion, six stories high and made of marble. On the pillars were various symbols and signs, he couldn''t understand them but it must have something to do with magic. It gave the entire place an unearthly feeling. It was a grand building that signified wealth, fame and power. Three of the four great desires. "This world is very vast; it will take a long time to learn about all its odds and ends." They walked up the steps on their way inside but they were stopped by the guards. The guards held out their spears blocking the entrance, the guard on the left raised his hand and calmly said. "Entry fee is 1 gold." "1 gold? Just to look around? Outrageous!" "1 gold or leave." Fuyo signaled to Tuzai to calm down, and then he pulled out a gold coin and held it out to the guard. "It''s 1 gold per person." The guard smiled in contempt, he was obviously looking down on them. Fuyo noticed his facial expression change, they weren''t larva, they were adult bees so their facial expressions were many times easier to discern. "You got greedy; at first I was letting you save face. But you dare act arrogant in front of me? How about I tell the Elder about you trying to extort the Lords son in front of the Bone Relic Pavilion? Let me tell you, even if you begged for your life I wouldn''t spare it." The guards were startled by Fuyo''s outburst, the pressure he emitted was no less than that of a King. They realized they had made a mistake, "Oh please young lord, I''m sorry. We didn''t recognize your grace. Please young lord forgive us. Here, take it. It''s everything we have. Please spare our lives." They pulled off two bags from their side belt and gave it to Fuyo. Fuyo didn''t take it from them right away and first thought about it. Meanwhile Tuzai had no idea what was going on, his father wasn''t a Lord or anything? Or was he... She didn''t know what to think anymore. "Because this is your first offence I can let it slide, as for your bags I don''t need them but I will take them and donate them to charity in your stead. Consider yourself warned." He picked up the bags from their hands and made his way into the pavilion with Tuzai by his side. After they got a good distance away from the door Tuzai asked very quietly in a timid voice. "W..what happened?" Fuyo couldn''t take it anymore and burst out laughing. "I bluffed them, I took a guess that there wasn''t a real fee to enter the Pavilion and it paid off." He smiled as he patted the two bags in his hands. "It paid off? But what if they find out and what about those? What charity are you going to give them to?" "And you said I ask a lot of questions?" He laughed some more and rubbed the two bags in his hand. "How would they be able to find out? How many Lords are there in Bee Country? How many sons do they have? Our own Lord has more than 120 children. They won''t find out, and charity? Hah! These are spoils of war. No way am I giving them over to charity." He snuffed his nose up in pride and then went on his merry way. He sent his spiritual sense into the bag and found thousands of spirit stones, weapons, herbs, pills, potions, books and various other things. It was not what he was expecting at all. "How can this little bag contain so many items?" "How? It''s a spatial bag of holding, they are very expensive and it can contain lots of items. It''s made using rare and powerful spatial magic. The guards must have scammed a lot of people because those bags are worth 100 gold pieces each. There''s no way they get paid that much!" "100 gold? If we sold these two bags we could lease a farm for 8 months. We really have made a killing today. This is way more efficient than hunting for spirit stones. We should just bluff people from now on hahaha" ¡ª¨C Chapter 24 - The Pavillions Cleaner They walked through the pavilion; it was a very beautiful place. The floors were made of Ivory tiles and covered in spirit formations, the pillars glimmered in the light. Fuyo couldn''t see the formations normally, but with his qi vision he could. There were floating orbs of light that kept the temperature consistent and the place lit up. There were many people walking around, a lot of them wore scholar robes but they were very dirty. A lot of them were covered in bone dust but they didn''t seem to care. Everywhere they walked some dust would fall off onto the ground but then a light wind would pick them up and whisk away the dust. "This must be the power of the spirit formation." He thought it was quite neat; a spirit formation can be used for such menial things. It was like walking into an Immortal''s palace. "Hey you there, you kids... Can you lend me a hand?" A rough old man turned and looked to Fuyo and shocked him greatly. He was wearing dark brown overalls, he was really grubby and looked like a rubbish man. It ruined the whole aura of the Immortal Palace. But it wasn''t his clothing that shocked Fuyo, Fuyo knew looks can be deceiving; it was his face and body that made him shake. He wasn''t a bee but a human? A human with bee wings and a long stinger like tail... "Why are you looking at me like that? Quick, come help me empty the rubbish." He ignored Fuyo''s stares and walked around the corner. "What''s going on? Why does he have a human body? Tuzai, tell me it''s not just me. I''m not seeing things am I?" Tuzai shook her head "No, he really has a body like that. It''s called the fairy realm. He must be a Spirit Warrior. Spirit Warriors are people that broken through the true qi realm and formed their fairy body. They can change between their true form and their fairy form at will." Everything she said was blowing his mind, if he cultivated higher he could return to his human form? He started trembling from excitement. "A Spirit Warrior, how amazing!" "No, it''s not that amazing. Anyone can reach the Spirit Warrior stage with enough resources and time, in fact I''m only 3 steps from the Spirit Warrior stage myself. Most of them stay in their bee form because their bee body is stronger and more comfortable." Fuyo: "..." "The reason the old man takes care of rubbish is probably due to some grave offense he committed against a noble or he made a wrong turn when opening a meridian and got stuck in the fairy realm forever. That''s why he is in such a miserable state. I''m trying to read his cultivation but I''m not able to sense anything. He might be powerless, his dantian was probably destroyed, it''s best not to befriend such useless people." "That may be the case but are we really one to speak? Recently, one thing I''ve learnt is that it never pays to be too confident in yourself. At the moment we are not in a position to speak about people in such a way. A leaky house, broken walls and sleeping on the floor is our current situation. It''s true, with your potential and my eyes we can make it to a high place in life one day but we should never forget where we came from."Reading on Amazon or a pirate site? This novel is from Royal Road. Support the author by reading it there. Tuzai didn''t know what to say, she was flabbergasted. With 8 opened meridians and the prospects of becoming an apprentice alchemist she had let herself get overconfident. Although her talent wasn''t the best it was still many times better than others. So she started to act in the way a noble would. "I''m sorry, I didn''t notice." She shook her head, slightly ashamed of what she just said. "It''s fine, so what do you think we should do? Shall we lend the cleaner a hand?" She nodded her head and they walked forward, following the path the cleaner went. The hall was quite long and it winded, there were a few doors that lead to different places. The place was too large; they couldn''t find the cleaner anywhere so they decided to give up after 15 minutes of searching. They were walking back when they heard that same familiar voice. "Hey kids, are you going to lend me a hand or not?" Fuyo turned around and saw an open door with the cleaner''s head cleanly popping out from the side. He still couldn''t believe there was a way to change back into human form. But the old man took away the beauty of the human form. He was just like an old dirty bum, there was dirt on his face and his clothes were covered in some sort of red liquid. Tuzai didn''t recognize what this liquid was because bees have honey colored blood and spirit bees have white colored blood. But Fuyo knew what it was, it was dark red blood. Fuyo pushed his hand against Tuzai and stopped her from walking forward; she saw that a look of worry had appeared in his eyes. "What''s wrong youngster? You were looking for me right?" "Is this guy a serial killer? Does he lure gullible kids out here and do any number of evils to them?" Fuyo couldn''t help but ask himself this question. The scene of the old man standing in a white corridor covered in blood was like something out of a horror movie. Fuyo was no stranger to murder but he had never killed someone for pleasure before. "Is there something wrong?" Tuzai whispered into Fuyos ear. He nodded his head. "Why are you covered in blood? Did you lure us out here to kill us?" After Tuzai heard this she started to shiver in fear, if he was a Spirit Warrior that had been crippled then they could escape. But if he had been killing people for fun like Fuyo suggested then he wasn''t a crippled Spirit Warrior and they had fallen into his trap. The old man looked down at his shirt and then looked back at Fuyo and started laughing. "It''s from the dead beast that we slaughter to use for bone relics. Bees have honey colored blood, and spirit bees have white colored blood. Where did you get that strange idea from?" He laughed some more at the conclusion he drew. This kid sure is interesting, he thought to himself. "Ah, is that so?" He looked to Tuzai for confirmation and she nodded her head. "In that case, I apologize to senior for the misunderstanding." "Senior? Haha, interesting kid. You call me, a lowly cleaner with such a lofty title as senior?" "Yes, your occupation doesn''t dictate your value or age. You are many years our senior so it''s only right to address you as such." He bowed his head in greeting. "Well, I''m not one for titles just call me by name, Kala." "Well then Kala, I''ll be in your care, what did you need help with?" "My grand daughter is dying from an incurable disease. I don''t know how much longer she can hold on. She was raised in this village and due to our poor circumstances, she hasn''t had the chance to see the world. I want to make the most of her final moments and take her around Bee Country. If you could find it in your heart to help me then I would be incredibly grateful." Fuyo: "..." Tuzai: "..." "All you need to do is to get rid of all this beast meat. There is over 10 tons of meat. Just grab as much meat as you can carry and drop it off in the forest. It should decompose eventually. Here is a magic carpet card, you can use it to use the meat carrier magic carpet. If you work fast then you can have it all done by the end of the day. Here are the keys to the room, they throw all the beast meat in here to be collected. I have to go now, good luck." Then he ran off and disappeared without letting Fuyo or Tuzai get a single word in. He was so fast Fuyo and Tuzai didn"t even see him leave. "What''s with this sudden development?" ¡ª¨C Chapter 25 - Meat in droves "Damn that old man, he just wanted us to do his job for him. If I ever see him again I''m going to..." "Hold on Tuzai-chan, it''s not all bad. There is 10 tons of meat here; do you know what that means?" "No, what?" She scratched her head in thought. "It means we have our meat, we will eat good tonight. I don''t know how good this meat taste but we can try different methods to see what taste the best. We have lots to spare so it doesn''t matter if we burn it a couple times practicing." "B..but he told us to throw it out." "Yeah, we are throwing it out. Throwing it out at our house." Fuyo smiled with that innocent grin that could make babies have nightmares. "Sneaky Fuyo, but are we really going to spend all day going back and forth lifting all this heavy meat?" "Think back to what we just acquired Tuzai-chan." "I don''t see where you are going with... ooooh. The interspatial bags of holding!" "Right, I don''t know if we can fit all the meat in there but it''s worth a try." Fuyo grabbed some meat and tried to shove it in, but it didn''t work. Instead it squished in his hand. "Strange, it doesn''t seem to want to go in. Maybe it''s full?" Fuyo''s face was a bit downcast. His plan had failed. "No silly, it''s because all your meridians are closed. You have to use qi to open and close it. Like this see." She took one of the bags, injected a little qi into it and a suction force exploded out from inside the bag. It sucked up the meat bit by bit. "Wow, it just sucked it all up. That''s amazing; too bad I can''t use it." His face was half way between smiling and frowning. Tuzai then sucked up the rest of the meat into the other bag. "It can only fit half of the meat in, lucky we have two bags here. I''m surprised these bags have so much space, how long have those guards been scamming people? These aren''t low quality bags of holding but closer to mid quality. 1000 gold each!" "They can only consider it their bad karma. They got what they deserved." Fuyo smiled nonchalantly. ''What is that thing he was talking about? Meat carpet or something?"Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon. "The meat carrier magic carpet? I assume it''s a magic carpet used by the rubbish man to dump the waste from the bone relic masters." "Oh, so it''s a type of moving carriage thing then? Shall we go see our new vehicle?" They left the room and made their way to the front of the building, they had gotten what they came for so there was no reason to stick around. The guards that were guarding the door before had left and gone somewhere else so nothing impeded them on the way out. ¡ª¨C "Grand Master Kala, they are leaving and there is no meat in their hands. They seem to have failed the test." Sigh. "That girl had quite a bit of talent too, 8 opened meridians and mid-grade profound veins. Not bad, not bad." Kala appeared very different than a moment ago; his clothes were impeccable and made of extremely good material. They were laced with spirit formations and he was actually floating in the air! Not using his wings but actually floating. It was like the laws of gravity didn''t apply to him. "Royalty like them are given many cultivation resources. They even have a meridian specialist that can open four of their meridians. If you compared her to a normal cultivator without an endless amount of resources she wouldn''t amount to much. She would actually be very below standard." "Being lucky enough to be born into a wealthy family is also heavenly luck." He sighed again. Off from the side another man spoke. "Excuse me, Grand Master. I know it''s not my place to speak but are you really going to let them give all our items to charity? We only took the guard job and extorted people so you could test them; we didn''t expect to have our items confiscated from a little prince." The two guards looked at the floor with a sad look on their faces. The old man waved his sleeves and two bags of holding flew out and landed in each of the guards hands. They opened it up and almost passed out, inside each of the bags were more than two times their previous wealth. "Thank you Grand Master, thank you!" They bowed heads and quickly went back to their stations at the front of the pavilion. "Grand Master, are you sure you won''t consider any of our pavilions bone relic masters? We have some of the most talented cultivators and..." "Don''t bother, I''ve already tested them all and they failed. These kids were the first ones that passed the second stage of the test. They actually followed a dirty old man like me down the long winding hallway to help despite their status. That boy was really interesting too, but his cultivation talent is terrible. Only at the first level of Qi condensation and almost 13 years old, even with his crappy talent I might have taken him in as a disciple because he''s entertaining. But it''s a shame they failed the third test. No matter, I will spend a few months here; if I can''t find a suitable disciple I''ll be leaving this village and heading back to the Divine Capital." The Pavilion master''s heart shook a little; this man had helped out their village greatly. With him here none of the surrounding clans would dare attack. He was like insect repellant and if he left, they would enter a warring period again. "I understand sir." The old man respectfully bowed. The one talking to Kala was actually the Bone Relic Pavilion Master. If he was the Pavilion Master then what sort of rank does this so called ''Grand Master Kala'' hold? He must be someone very important. In the past 10 years that he''s been here, they have been able to build up their strength greatly, raising their total strength from a 1 star village to a 5 star village. The entire area is now lined with spirit formations so even if they came under attack they could fend off their brutal advances and protect the civilians. It''s also a barrier that collects spirit energy from around them so they wouldn''t have to personally supply magic to the shield. It was a major improvement from the shield they had 13 years ago during the Demon Blood invasion. ¡ª¨C Chapter 26 - Little Rug Tuzai and Fuyo made their way to the magic carpet parking lot. It wasn''t very far from the Bone Relic Pavilion and only took them ten minutes to get there. At the front of the area there was a large gate laced with barb wire. Behind the gates were hundreds of rugs, Fuyo was a bit confused. "Umm...Tuzai, what are those?" "They are magic carpets." "Wait, you mean they are literally carpets? I thought that was a metaphor. How are we supposed to ride those things around?" "They fly around; I''m not quite sure how they work because I''ve never been on one. Look up there." Fuyo changed his gaze to the sky, up ahead was a cultivator just leaving the parking lot. He flew through the air and shot off into the distance. "Hey, that guy has wings why doesn''t he just fly?" "Because flying gets exhausting, magic carpets are also faster and they can travel long distances." It was very practical and useful Fuyo thought. They went to the front gate, it was closed. There was a little office on the left side covered by a glass window. "Um, hey there. How do I get in to get my magic carpet?" The guy they were talking to was reading a paper when he looked up, he noticed their clothes, looked at their temperament and realized they must be nobles. But he was also a noble along with every other employee here so he didn''t have to grovel before them like most people. Noble families would force their younger generation to get jobs and then cut them off from their inheritance for a few years. This was to teach them discipline and money management skills. If they never did this, then all it took was one bad egg to squander their entire fortune down the drain and the family would be done for. "Oh, hey sorry about that. I''m the valet here. What''s your parking number? I can give you directions." "We don''t know sorry, we have this thing here. We''re not quite sure how it works." Tuzai slipped the magic carpet card underneath the glass window. The guard grabbed it with a face full of smiles, many people would forget where they parked because so many magic carpets were parked here. It was only natural for them to forget. The reason so many park their magic carpets here is thanks to the security. No one would ever dear stealing from here. It was guarded by 12 Spirit Lords and even a Spirit King! Even the front guard in front of them was a Spirit Warrior. He glanced over the card and stopped in his tracks. "M...Mi Lords, I didn''t realize it was you. I apologize, I will escort you their personally." He opened the gates and bowed as they walked through. "Psst...what''s going on?" "I''m not sure, just play along." Fuyo and Tuzai didn''t know what to make of the situation but they continued on anyway. It can''t be anything bad to be treated like a Lord right?Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on Royal Road. They walked through the front door and a magic carpet landed at their feet. "Mi Lords, this is a navigation carpet. It will help us reach your carpet sooner." They stepped on and the carpet lifted up into the air, Fuyo could image that it would feel very strange if he stood on two legs, he might even fall off but he was a caterpillar right now. It was like he was lying down so it was very comfortable. It was such a beautiful feeling, flying through the air with the wind on your face. They flew through the air at 25 km''s an hour. Along the way they saw many Spirit Warriors in suits of armor standing guard in different sections. They were surprised by the large amounts of magic carpets being parked here. In one section alone there were more than a thousand. The further they went, the less carpets they saw. Finally they got to an area where the entire ground was burnt black and there was only a single carpet lying on the ground. It was dark black with maroon lining. It almost blended in with the ground. There were a few animals walking around here and there, it was very different from the other areas where there were no animals at all. "Why are there so many animals around here?" Fuyo couldn''t help but ask. "Ah, that''s for food." The guide replied. I thought bees didn''t eat meat but before he could voice his thoughts Tuzai noticed something was off about the carpet. Zzz....ZZZZ...zzz.. "Is that carpet snoring?" "Yes, it''s a carpet with spiritual awareness. Didn''t you know that?" "Uh... No, the old man didn''t tell us." "Did he tell you about its homicidal tendencies?" "It''s WHAT?! What do you mean homicidal tendencies? Are you telling me it kills people?" "Yeah, well... Only when it''s hungry." A chicken walked in front of the carpet, pecked at the ground a few times and then Pew! Whoosh! Psssttt! CHOMP! The carpet lifted its head and underneath was a mouth with jagged and ferocious teeth covered in blood. It shot out a fireball, instantly roasting the chicken. The only thing remaining were the bunch of feathers that flew up into the air, the bird was no longer with us. It then swallowed the carcass of the chicken and started chewing. Crunch...Crunch... It continued to chew the chicken and crush its bones between its teeth. Gulp Burp The carpet looked at Fuyo, Tuzai and the Guard guide then did an arrogant gesture and turned away like it was saying "Hmph, you''re not even worth eating." Tuzai grew incredibly afraid when she saw this scene; she could feel the nasty aura coming from the carpet, it was almost evil. Fuyo''s hands started vibrating and shaking. His eyes looked like he saw a ghost. Tuzai saw his reaction; he was scared to death too. She went to hold and comfort him when he unexpectedly jumped forward. "Grr....A carpet dears be so haughty in front of me? I will show you." He wasn''t shaking because he was scared; he was shaking because he was too excited. He jumped onto the carpet''s back and held onto its corners. "Arrrghhh!!!" The carpet let out a weird muffled yell and continued to struggle back against Fuyo. It shot out fireballs that flew in every direction. Its mouth was on the bottom side so it couldn''t bite Fuyo who was on top. It kept screaming and yelling trying to turn around and bite Fuyo. It bucked like a wild bull trying to throw him off. Fuyo couldn''t hold on properly. His feet and arms were very sticky but they weren''t hands so he couldn''t get a powerful grip using his muscles. If he could transform then it would be simple, but that wasn''t the case. He flew into the air and landed on the dirt nearby. The rug rushed him like a wild lion seeking its prey. It aimed for his jugular. Fuyo slowly lifted his head but no fear was visible in his eyes. In fact his eyes were so cold they were no different than a freezer. They were the eyes of a stone cold killer. The carpet stopped its attack when it looked into Fuyos eyes. An overwhelming killing intent burst forth from his body, it was the arrogant aura of a world ruler. Someone who could look down on the world from his pedestal. "I don''t draw my sword often but when I do it taste blood." He put on the most innocent face he could muster, his teeth curling into a smile and his eye rising slightly. It was the most horrible and horrendous expression anyone could muster, it nearly made the magic carpet jump out of its skin. "Bow your head, accept me as your new master and I will let you live." The carpet started shaking and sweating, it"s mind went blank and it froze in place for the next 3 minutes. In the end it couldn''t fight against its fears anymore. It bowed its head and a light burst forth from its mouth and shot into Fuyo''s forehead. This was a soul imprint, spiritual items can only imprint once in their entire lives. Now Fuyo was its undisputed master. ¡ª¨C Chapter 27 - Soul Imprint The carpet submitted but Fuyo was bluffing the entire time. He couldn''t even wield a sword with his body let alone kill someone but his dominating nature still existed from his past life. "Soul Imprint!" Tuzai and the Guard exclaimed at the same time. Fuyo turned his head sideways like an owl. "Soul Imprint, what''s that?" "A soul imprint is like a blood pact, it''s unbreakable. Because it imprinted, that means it will serve you for the rest of its life. It''s like a servant acknowledging its master. A soul imprint can only be done once in their life." "Hey wait, that''s not good right? This isn''t even our carpet, it''s that old mans. Wouldn''t he get mad?" Fuyo said sternly. Tuzai nodded her head "This was his magic carpet; he''s definitely going to be mad after we did this to his great magical treasure. But unfortunately, there is no medicine for regret and no pill to go back in time and fix your past mistakes. It''s already happened and we can''t take it back. We will just have to explain it to that old timer when he gets back whenever that may be. But it''s amazing how you scared him and made him Imprint. But in the future, please don''t ever do that face again. I almost pissed myself." She looked down slightly embarrassed because it was true. Fuyo''s ugly face he pulled was ten times scarier than the homicidal carpet. "Right, I''ll try not to and we will go see him later on then. First things first, we have to name him. What do you think we should call him?" "Uh, it should be something vicious like Kira for killer." "Kira? Wow, that is fearsome. I like it, anything less wouldn''t good enough. Then let''s go with this." He turned around and walked towards the carpet that was now as docile as a puppy. "From now on your name is Kira, do you like it?" "Ruff, ruff, ruff!" Its tongue hung out and it turned over on its back. Fuyo scratched its stomach and patted its silky fur. "Aw, he looks kind of cute like this." She rubbed the bag and pulled out a big fat juicy steak, then threw it over into Kira''s mouth. Chomp "Ruff, ruff!" The guide was amazed by this scene. "Okay, let''s go home now and cook up this meat. I''m sick of walking, 9 hours is too far to walk again and it''s getting dark." "But we can''t protect the carpet, what if someone tries to steal it?" This was a real worry, because magic carpet thefts weren''t uncommon. That''s why most people stored them here.Find this and other great novels on the author''s preferred platform. Support original creators! "They can try if they want." Suddenly, Kira turned vicious and had saliva dripping down its mouth. "Grrrr....." Gulp "I was just overly worried hehe, Kira can protect herself." "Her? How do you know it''s a girl?" "I don''t..." Tuzai poked tongues and then jumped on to Kira. She wasn''t afraid at all now, like she had already gotten use to the idea of owning a homicidal flying carpet. Fuyo climbed aboard a second later, "Kira, yip yip!" "aruh?" The carpet looked at him like it was confused. "Um, senior guide master. How do we make him fly?" "Haha, right. I should give you this, here you are." The guide handed over a book to Fuyo. Inside it were various words, he started to read through the instructions to get a better understanding. Action / Translation Higher: Gama Lower: Guma Left: Guchi Right: Goo Forward: Pumba Back: Mew Speed Up: Andale Slow Down: Lu ha Stop: Pawpaw "What''s with these weird words?" This was totally unnecessary and Fuyo couldn''t find a logical reason why they would make these the commands. It would have been a lot easier just to have normal words as their commands. The guide cleared his throat "Ahm..." "It''s the international carpet language. It used to be left, right, forward and back but these words are sometimes used in conversation. Can you imagine someone flying through the air at top speed and accidentally saying left then smashing into a stone wall. It''s happened before and caused a lot of accidents so we had to change the carpet language." "That makes a lot of sense then. Alright, I guess it can''t be helped. Gama!" Kira slowly flew into the air, higher and higher. "Pumba, andale, andale, andale, andale." Boom Boom Boom Boom In a split second they were gone. Gulp "They sped up four times, that''s not going to end well for them." The guide stared at their disappearing figures and wiped the sweat of his head. "Well, if they die it''s not my fault." He instantly exonerated himself from their fate. He jumped on a transporting carpet and flew back to his post at the front office. "Wehhrree giinongg thuuu fsseetst" (We''re going to fast) "iii nkwwwwnow.... Paaaawpaaaaaw...pawwwpawww.." (I know, pawpaw, pawpaw) Crrrkkkk... Poof The carpet stopped instantly but the pushing force behind them threw them off. They flew off the carpet and went head first into a pile of dung. Splash "Ewwww....Blurgh." Tuzai couldn''t stand the smell and threw up all over the floor. Fuyo wiped the dung from his eyes. "Argh, that didn''t go as expected. Our clothes are ruined too; look there is a river over there where we can wash up." They made their way over and took off their clothes; they weren''t embarrassed of being naked because they are usually naked just like everyone else. It''s usually only nobles that wear clothes to show off their wealth. The sludge washed off their body and drifted down the river. Splash "Hehe" Water splashed over Fuyo''s head. "Ooh, you cheeky mother.." He moved his body and sent a wave of water over at Tuzai. He was many times larger than her so it was like a tsunami had hit her. Splash "I''ll show you!" She used her qi to pick up the water into the air and made it tumble down on Fuyo''s head. "Damn, I underestimate the power of magic once again." Fuyo started splashing about like a fish, "Water treading steps" He was burning massive amounts of energy just to perform this simple martial move but it helped him run across the water. He was like a jet ski, creating a swirling whirlpool around her. Some kids that were swimming nearby joined in and it turned into a big water fight. There was lots of laughing and playing. In a mere moment more than an hour had gone by. Time sure flies when you are having fun. Fuyo got out and lay on the sand, drying out his skin. He was lost horribly. He looked around and noticed something he hadn''t noticed before. The entire group of larva playing in the water were extremely small, at least a lot smaller than the ones they saw in town. They were around Tuzai''s size, even though they were all around 11 or 12 years old like Fuyo. "Are they are different breed or do they all suffer from dwarfism?" ¡ª¨C Chapter 28 - Malnutrition Tuzai crawled out of the water and lay down next to Fuyo. "Tuzai-chan, why are they all so small like you? Are they a different breed of bee?" Tuzai shook her head. "This is a poor district similar to our own. They haven''t had much food growing up so their growth has been stunted by malnutrition." "Wait, malnutrition? How is that possible?" This seemed a bit unlikely, how can bees starve when they drink nectar and eat honey? "It was due to the war 13 years ago, the fighters were normal villagers just like you and me. Many of them picked up weapons and took a stand to protect their families from the invaders. A lot of them were injured and had their wings cut off, limbs severed and lives taken. We won the war in the end but we paid a heavy price. Our villagers aren''t warriors like the invaders so we were vastly outmatched in every way. No one expected our village to get attacked because we are not a village with a lot of resources. The wars are usually only held between the larger Bee kingdoms and cities." Fuyo nodded his head, remembering the scene that he saw it was indeed a one sided battle until Kaguya arrived. "Fortunately, the Lord of the village was Kaguya. But she went missing 3 years before, so the Blood Demon Bees took a risk and attacked. The army fought back against the attackers with all their strength but even then they were fighting a losing battle. Then your mother returned, it was like a miracle arrived. She single handedly slaughtered the entire army, just her and her sword. But she was caught in a trap and had to freeze her body. Most people believe she is dead only a select few know she is still alive." "I can understand that, but why are all these bees so malnourished?" "You can eat leaves and grass, flowers and roots so it doesn''t matter to you but it takes over 1,000 flowers to gather enough nectar to make honey for the larvae. Due to their senior generations injuries they find it extremely difficult just visiting 100 plants let alone the 1,000 they need to make honey." "The ones without wings are even worse off. They can only gather nectar from flowers on the ground but there are so little flowers on the ground that they can barely gather nectar from 10 flowers. Instead they choose to work for other people instead of gathering nectar. They make money and buy honey to feed themselves and their kids. The market price for honey in our village is quite expensive so they are only able to buy a little. This is what caused an entire generation of malnourished Larva." "Ah, so the reason you are so small is due to your being malnourished?"This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report. Tuzai shook her head, "I don''t know why but I am different. Father is a powerful crowbee; he could visit 10,000 flowers easily let alone 1,000. Growing up I had so much honey that I should have been a big strong and powerful bee. But no matter how much I ate, I never got bigger. Papa said there''s nothing wrong with me and that I''m a late bloomer but I..." "Don''t worry about it, I''m sure he''s right." Fuyo nodded his head. Fuyo is a heartless person like his Grand Father Pietra Fredda. The malnourished bees struggle wasn''t any of his concern but Tuzai was, he held his family members very close. In his eyes, they were the only people worth protecting. The rest were merely filler characters. For someone who wanted to conquer the world, it was only natural to accustom yourself to the harsh realities of life. When he started his quest for world domination, who knows how many people would die? He wouldn''t lend people a hand without gaining anything, but that didn''t mean he would help people at all. By treating people well you can win their loyalty, and loyalty is worth more than mere pennies. You needed loyal servants in order to conquer the world. If people treated you like a God then no one could change their opinion. That''s the power of religion! "This is good for us; it means there is a market for flowers. If we grow flowers we can hire the disabled bees to work for us in return for nectar." "Grow flowers?" Tuzai scrunched her eyebrows, just for one bee they would need to grow 1,000 flowers, it was a viable plan. "Yeah, are you saying bees don''t grow flowers?" "No, it''s not that. It''s true that most bees only grow herbs and special plants that they can sell to other cities but flowers are big, they take up a lot of space and you still need flying bees to collect the nectar. Besides, flowers take a long time to grow and you need a thousand just to refine enough honey for one larva." "That''s not a problem, I have a plan to cover all of that. Just trust in Fuyo." He smiled at her and then felt him stomach rumble. "Grr....'''' "Was that your stomach?" "Yeah, I think I''m hungry. Shall we cook some meat?" "I guess we can give it a try." They found stones and piled them up. They then laid a large flat stone over the top. Underneath the put in sticks, dry leaves and dried out bark that they found on the side of the river trees. "Do we have a flint to start the fire?" "No but I can start it." Tuzai twisted her hands in the air and released some qi. The qi twisted and turned, rubbing against the sticks until they burst into fire. "You can control fire and water?" Fuyo was amazed at her abilities. "No, I''m in the true spirit realm so my true qi is quite strong. I can use the qi to create friction between the sticks to heat them up until they combust and burst into flames. Only Earth realm cultivators have the ability to manipulate the earth qi but I doubt I''d ever reach that level, even with my awesome talent." "Even you won''t be able to reach that level?" Fuyo was shocked, she was indeed a genius but even she couldn''t reach such heights? She rubbed her head "Yeah, our village Lord is an Earth warrior and he''s already 800 years old." "800? How can he live so long?" "The higher your cultivation, the longer your life. It''s because your body is refined more and more, the higher you climb." Two words popped into Fuyo''s head. "Immortal Cultivation!" ¡ª¨C Chapter 29 - Gold Mine As long as you continue to grow stronger, you could live longer and never die. This was always a dream of Fuyo''s. He wanted immortality, that''s why he chose the path of world domination. If he conquered the world he would be remembered forever. But in this world he could actually live forever? What kind of crazy concept is that? His blood boiled just thinking about it. "Are there any knives in the bags of holding?" Tuzai sent her spiritual sense inside the bag and shook her head. "Are there any swords?" A wind came from the space and a sword appeared. It was a beautiful red sword; it seemed to glitter in the sun. "Good, that will do. Withdraw some low quality meat and we will start testing different cooking methods." He didn''t have any herbs, spices or flavoring so the meat would probably be very plain. He used the sword to cut the meat into smaller pieces. When he cut the meat the sword seared it as he cut and emitted steam from the evaporated blood. "How come the sword is searing the meat? That''s pretty cool." "No way...It can''t be." She almost bit her tongue as she said these words. "It can''t be true can it? Is it really...." "What can''t be true?" Fuyo saw her reaction and desperately wanted to know. "This sword contains the attribute of fire, it''s the only way it could sear the meat like that. Only Earth profound weapons are imbued with elemental properties. This....This sword is a great treasure!" "It''s...it''s really that amazing?" Fuyo could feel the strength pulsing through the sword, but he thought his judgment of strength was different from this worlds. After all, his judgment of strength was based on a world that was thousands of times weaker than this world. So he tried not to make hasty judgements. "An earth profound weapon is a real treasure; if you sold this you could buy the farm you wanted to buy. These guys were seriously rich, no guards could be this rich. No matter how long they have been scamming people. I think...we may have scammed someone we shouldn''t have." He shrugged his shoulders "No big deal, if trouble comes we can deal with it then." He threw the meat on the hot flat stone that was being heated by the fire beneath it. He was very meticulous; he didn''t know what kind of meat this was so he had to pay a lot of attention to the cooking process. He cooked a lot in his past life; he had no one to look after him or to cook for him so he taught himself how to cook. When he became the Lord of Wsc village, he got professional cooks to teach him their skills. He learnt how to use spices, herbs and sauces to improve the flavor. He wasn''t a master but he wasn''t a buffoon when it came to cooking either.Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon. Sssssssizzz..le The smell started to lift up into the air and the wind blew it around. The kids smelt the delicious meat cooking and couldn''t help but be drawn to it. "Uhhh, big brother, big sister, what is that?" Drool dripped down the kid''s mouth as he saw the meat cooking. "It''s beast meat, do you want to taste some?" "Beast meat? Yuck!" They expressed their displeasure but then the smell assaulted their noses once again. With drool dripping down their face they said "Oh, maybe just a little bite." Fuyo didn''t know if his current body could digest meat but Bees can turn into humans so why wouldn''t they be able to eat meat? He recalled that they can only turn into humans at a certain cultivation level. He and Tuzai had not reached that level yet so it would be best to let these kids taste some first and see what it does to them. He turned to Tuzai and whispered to her "Tuzai-chan, send out your spiritual sense and monitor what happens to these kids'' bodies." With his current strength he couldn''t use his spirit sense to scan other people, he could only use it to scan his own body and even that was hard so he had to ask Tuzai to do it for him. "Younger brothers and sisters, my friend here is going to scan your bodies. If you let her then you can have some." They nodded their heads, it didn''t matter to them. There were 6 of them in total so Fuyo cut the large steak into 6 pieces and gave a piece to each of them. The meat was a bit charred in places because he had no oil to supplement the cooking process. It was also a bit dry but they didn''t seem to mind. The one at the front looked at the meat in front of him then slowly put it into his mouth, it was beast meat so he was afraid it would taste disgusting and make him puke. Chomp "Mmmmmmm..... Grrrrrrr!" He went from eating slowly to devouring the piece like a fierce beast; his face had an expression of joy on it like it was the best thing he had ever eaten in his whole life. The other kids never held back either and started viciously tearing at the meat. Even though Fuyo split it into 6 pieces it was still way too big for them to eat. They ate half of the steak and were already full, but they didn''t stop just because they were full. They grew greedy and tried to fit more in their stomach until they reached the point of throwing up. "Bleuh!" They threw up and then ate some more meat until they really couldn''t eat anymore because their jaws were exhausted from chewing so much. "These kids have probably never eaten anything good in their lives until this day, so it''s only natural that they would gorge out the first chance they get." Quite a bit of meat was left over from their endeavors so they hid it away for later, afraid Fuyo might ask for it back. Tuzai''s face was frozen in ice, her mouth agape. "What''s the matter Tuzai-chan? Are you alright? You look like you just saw a ghost haha" Fuyo laughed at her reaction but he was also curious why she had that strange look on her face. She turned to Fuyo slowly and retracted her spirit sense. "It''s...This is...How do I explain it?" She was lost in her own thoughts trying to make sense of the situation. "Don''t lollygag, hurry up and spit it out!" Fuyo was anxious to see what happened, did it poison them? Are they going to die? It''s a sad outcome but that''s the way of life, he would light incense on their graves and pay tribute. After all, they could have just saved his life so it was the least he could do. "The meat, it''s like..." She was silent for a few minutes, Fuyo patiently waited for her to respond. He couldn''t force it out of her because she was still trying to process the information "The meat is like a typhoon, it''s...it''s not only being digested but it''s supplying their dantian with massive amounts of energy. There is nothing toxic and it''s not hurting their bodies in anyway. It''s like absorbing spirit stones, these kids had no cultivation before but by the time the meat finally gets digested they would have all broken through to the first layer of qi condensation." She finished her speech but she was sweating. Then finally she said one last sentence. "I think... We just stumbled across a gold mine." ¡ª¨C Chapter 30 - Invite them all "1st level of qi condensation? It takes me an entire day of running around to reach the first level of qi condensation but they caught up just from eating my food. Damn, lucky kids." He was expressing his excitement by complaining how lucky they are, not only didn''t they die they even got stronger at an unbelievably fast rate. This was like searching for dirt and finding gold, it was a true gift. They could start selling meat and make mega bucks! "Hmm, no this isn''t any good. We can''t hunt for meat ourselves, the beast are too strong. We can''t start selling meat, the other guys will strong arm us out of our territory and take over the business. The strong can hunt for meat but the weak can''t. Even if we go to the pavilion every day to collect the meat it would open up a window for everyone else. They would quickly start their own meat businesses." "Wow you really think things through, I was ready to rush in. I almost blinded myself with temporary gain and lost sight of the bigger picture." Tuzai nodded in response to his analysis of the situation. Her eyes seemed to drift when she noticed a girl at the back of the group still had a massive piece of steak in her hands. She only took a little nibble but didn''t eat ferociously like the others. They had already passed out from exhausting, their bodies were quickly digesting the meat but she was just standing there watching them talk about the situation. "Um, little girl. How come you haven''t touched your food? Is there a problem with it." She shook her head "No, it''s just...My parents haven''t eaten anything in 2 weeks and I wanted to share it with them." Fuyo''s heart shook, he was immune to such things as suffering but this little girl just shook his heart with her words. Most people would be blinded by temptation but she kept a clear head and thought about her parents. It touched his soul. "Aw, what a cute girl!" This wasn''t Tuzai speaking or Fuyo but Jon Snow inside Fuyo''s mind. "Hey, shut up you." "Aw, you big meanie." Jon Snow at this moment was dressed up like a girl flying around the world inside his mind. Fuyo didn''t know whether Jon Snow was a boy or girl, he didn''t have a set form and changed around at will. "I''m sorry big brother, I didn''t mean too..." The little girl was shocked by his sudden outburst. Fuyo looked at her "Oh, no sorry. I didn''t mean you; I was talking to my soul." Tuzai turned her head and looked at him like he was crazy.Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions. "What''s your name?" "Sakura Saku." She bowed her head politely and gave her name. "Ah, what a beautiful name. My name is Fuyo and this big sister here is Tuzai. It''s fine for you to eat it; if you wait any longer it will go cold. I will make some more for your parents so you don''t have to worry." She nodded her head with a happy expression on her face. She started eating ferociously, nothing like the elegant lady she once was. "Impressive..." "What''s impressive Tuzai-chan?" "She is, she has 8 opened meridians. I just scanned her bones and she is only 11 years old. That means she hasn''t undergone her birthright ceremony. This makes her a peerless genius, even nobility aren''t this gifted. She''s even more gifted than me." "Really? This little girl? What''s her cultivation level?" Fuyo was amazed, they found an amazing person. "3rd level of the spirit realm and high-grade profound veins." "High-grade!" His eyes widened in surprise. "How high do you think her cultivation will reach in the future?" Fuyo couldn''t help but ask, Tuzai was an expert about these things. "She could possibly enter the Earth realm, I''m not sure. But in her living conditions she''d be lucky to break through the true spirit realm and make it to the Spirit Warrior realm. Her body is too weak so it will greatly limit her future prospects." Tuzai had a sad expression on her face; it''d be a shame to let a genius like her waste away. "I have an idea, hey Sakura-chan why don''t you go and get your parents. In fact, why don''t you go and get everyone you know. Hey you kids on the ground, get up and go get your families and invite everyone you see. Tell them about our food and how delicious it is, tell them that I''m going to feed them all." "W...what? Really big brother?" The kids that were so exhausted from eating before got up and instantly ran back to their houses. "Onii-chan is going to feed everyone. Come on everyone, onii-chan is going to feed everyone!" They ran around the streets like maniacs knocking on everyone''s door." "Are we really going to feed all these people Fuyo?" "Of course we are, if we want to grow our business we have to get some workers. This is the easiest way to recruit workers don''t you think? Also, the meat will probably go bad if we leave it for too long. It has to be cooked. It''s killing two birds with one stone." Tuzai nodded her head, they formulated a plan and split the work load. "Before they get here we need make a bigger stove for our barbeque, I expect a lot of people will come after the rumor spreads." Tuzai went around and found massive stones, it was very hard for her but she could drag the boulders back and using her qi she could cut it down into smaller pieces. But every time she did it would exhaust her out a lot. Her body was a lot smaller than others, the same size as the other larva from before. In the bag there were some potions and pills. They agreed for her to use the pills despite them being extremely valuable. Fuyo thought the next part of the plan was very beneficial for the future. They shouldn''t let themselves be blinded by a spending little wealth when it could benefit them in the future many times over. The kids returned less than 20 minutes later with a bunch of other kids. "Big brother we are back, our parents are still at work and most of them don''t finish for another 2 hours. But we brought along the kids, they told their parents and most of them are coming out in a few hours. Is that alright big brother?" "Of course it is, it''s actually better this way because we have to prepare to receive them. Now that all of you are here, you can help out!" ¡ª¨C Sakura Saku is Japanese for Cherry Blossoms Bloom Onii-chan is Japanese for older brother. Chapter 31 - Building Commences Fuyo instructed the 30 or so kids to spread out and gather up sticks, dried leaves, grass and dry bark. He then instructed them to find big logs that would burn well. They set out and did as they were ordered. Over the next 2 hours more and more children arrived and helped out. Tuzai did most of the hard work because she was the strongest there; she took 6 strength revitalization potions and 6 qi replenishing pills over the next few hours. They only had 4 of each left but Fuyo didn''t mind. It was better this way; this would benefit them for many days to come. Tuzai laid the big stone plates that she cut out and formed them into giant square grills. She did this 5 times in total, creating 5 massive cooking plates. Underneath the plates were piles of sticks, dried leaves, grass and bark. The other kids chatted a lot amongst each other. "Is it true? The food is really that good!" "It''s truer than true; the food is the best thing you could ever imagine." "Tuzai-chan, is there any salt or oil we can buy?" "We can buy some oil, it''s not too expensive but salt? As in the stuff they use to keep ghost out of the village?" "Yeah, salt...Wait, what? Ghost?" This was the first time Fuyo ever heard of ghost before. "Ghost are the souls of the dead, because there was a big war here a lot of ghost wander the outskirts of the village. Most of them are quite peaceful but the villagers get crept out by them so they surrounded the village in salt to keep them out. Ghost can''t cross over a line of salt." "Ghost exists? I shouldn''t be surprised but I guess it''s the same salt. Are we able to get some?" "It''s a very common commodity; a bag of salt is one 10 silver, 20L of oil is 10 silver." "We''ll need 100L of oil to cook all this meat, oil cooks it faster and increases the flavor. We only need one bag of salt. How much money is in the bags of holding? We still have 11 Gold left from the spirit stones so it should add to quite a bit." "I haven''t checked, there was a lot of items in there so I never bothered counting them up. I''ll check now." Her spirit sense spread out and entered the first bag.Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon. "I''ll give a quick estimate, it''s hard to get an exact number because there is so many items in here. From what I can see, there is 600 gold, 12 white spirit stones, 16 yellow spirit stones, 30 tiger-eye spirit stones and..." "And?" Gulp "670 morganite spirit stones..." "Oh, 600 gold is good. What are tiger-eye spirit stones and morganite spirit stones? Are they worth a lot." "Are they worth a lot? They are worth a huge amount! The tiger-eye spirit stones are worth 1 gold each but the morganite spirit stones are 10 gold each! 670 is 6700 gold." She quickly checked the other bag, Fuyos jaw was close to dragging across the ground. "How can those two guards be so rich? Did we really offend some super power. Damnit!" Fuyo was a bit concerned, but they truly believed he was a prince. As long as his secret was never found out it wouldn''t matter too much. "500 morganite spirit stones in this bag, in total that''s more than 11,700 gold. We can buy the farm!" Fuyo almost jumped, was this where the saying "money falling from the sky" came from. It was a huge amount that could contribute towards their future. "Alright, keep your voice down. Down let anyone hear, if they found out how much money we have on us they could be tempted to attack. I will heat up the elements, you quickly gather the salt and oil." She nodded her head, jumped on the carpet and flew back into town to purchase the ingredients. Fuyo was still breathless after receiving the news. But he wiped off his smiled and immediately set out to work. He grabbed the sword and stabbed the sticks; a little spark came out from the tip of the blade. It wasn''t a very big spark but after prodding it 30 or 40 times a fire finally started. It spread from the stick and ignited the dried out grass, leaves and bark. Fuyo signaled to the back. "Okay kids, pull the logs in and slide them under." They used their heads to push big logs into the fire. This was to keep the fire burning for long periods of time. "It should take around 30 minutes for the stone plates to heat up." He turned back to the kids and said "Good job guys, your parents will really appreciate your efforts and may even reward you." The chatter started again as they talked about it, they patted each on the back for doing a good job. It was a very cute scene. Some adults started turning up and saw the 5 massive stone grills that the kids had built; they were amazed but also slightly mad. "Son, you said there would be food but I don''t see any? You didn''t waste my time did you? I still have work to do so I can''t fool around. I have to make as much money as possible to feed you and your sister." "No dad I was being seriously, the kind sir over there even said it. That''s why all us kids helped out to pitch in and build the massive grill to cook the food." "Cook the food? Where is the food? I don''t see any pots either? What can he possibly be cooking? Even if he was rich would he really be able to afford such a large amount of herbs for a soup this big?" The boy started to cower under his father''s words; he wasn''t one of the kids that got to try the meat. He didn''t even know what they had eaten so he couldn''t give his father an honest answer. "I...uh..don''t" ¡ª¨C Chapter 32 - The First Batch Fuyo appeared behind the boy like a tiger stalking his prey. He looked directly into the old bees eyes. He had quite the strong countenance. He was blind in one eye with a sword scar appearing from top to bottom. He lost his eye in battle. Both of his wings were ripped off, there was nothing there. One of his legs were gone and replaced with a wooden one and across his stomach were many sword scars. Every step he took looked like it took quite a bit of effort to accomplish but regardless, he was the first adult bee to arrive here. "Hey there, I''m Fuyo. I will be your host today; we weren''t expecting guest so early. The food won''t be ready for another 60 minutes. We are currently heating up the stone plates and my colleague has just gone off to get everything." "You''re not fooling me are you boy?" This old man was very domineering; he had experienced countless horrors so he was very distrusting against others. But he loved his son, so when his son invited him out, despite the work he had to do he came along. He had doubts about the whole event before he came out because it just sounded too good to be true. "Of course not sir, I am just a good Samaritan helping to feed the poor." He smiled that innocent smile and frightened the battle hardened old man. "Whoops, wrong expression. Dammit." Fuyo swore in his head. He forgot that his innocent expression in this body was akin to the devil ascending to the mortal plane. "Ah, very well then. I will wait around." The old man suddenly lost his courage when he saw that face, a person that had been through many harsh battles had admitted defeat. "Really?" Phew, Fuyo let out a sigh of relief. A few more adults arrived and Fuyo welcome them. The kids sat around watching the fire burn and heat the hot plates. It had been 20 minutes already and the plates were nearly heated up. The black and maroon magic carpet descended from the sky and landed neatly. "How did you land it so smoothly?" "I read through the little guide booklet again, it says the more times you say Andale the faster it will go. But you can also say Luka to slow it down. That''s all I did." "Ah, so it was that simple? Well then, it''s good that you are back. The grill is piping hot, shall we start?" Tuzai dragged a bag of salt and threw it on Fuyo''s back. He dragged it over to the stone grills. She grabbed the 100 liters of oil and also followed Fuyo through. She couldn''t put the items in the bags of holding because they were full so she had to carry them on the carpet. This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road. If you spot it on Amazon, please report it. "Okay, let''s tip some oil on the hotplates." Fuyo grabbed some oil and started tipping. "Tip the oil on the plates? Where did you learn this technique?" Fuyo remembered that in this world they didn''t use oil for cooking, they used it for lamps. He started to sweat because he nearly gave away his secret. "I, uh.... Invented this technique myself?" "Oh okay, what does it do exactly?" She was very curiously, they were basically rich now but she still spent 50 silver on the oil. They couldn''t squander their money or else they would be poor again. "It cooks the meat without it burning, it absorbs into it making it more succulent and it adds flavor." "Lamp oil does all that? Amazing." She couldn''t believe it but she trusted Fuyo. It looked like Fuyo dodged a bullet, he wiped his head and nodded, phew... The oil came to a simmer and Tuzai withdrew a massive amount of meat from the interspatial ring and cut it up with the sword. The beast meat was many times larger than a cow so it took quite a bit of effort. After a few strikes she stopped and took a break, then continued until there were many pieces of steak. "Okay great, let''s get cooking." They threw the steaks onto the grill and started cooking. "Ew, are they going to make us eat beast meat? He wasted our time." Ten or twenty adults that had come out started walking away; Sakura''s parents also turned to leave but she stopped them. "No Papa, Mama, it''s really good, trust onii-chan." They looked at her with concerned eyes but decided to stay back with her anyway. They weren''t concerned about the food, even if it was a lie and it tasted disgusting they didn''t mind because they were used to starving. What bothered them was her calling a stranger onii-chan. How long had she known this guy? No longer than a few hours. The smell drifted into the air and spread out, the kids that stayed behind were mostly the ones that had parents that had yet to arrive. Drool started forming at the corners of their mouth. "Mama, Papa, can you smell it?" Even they couldn''t help but drool, beast meat? Is something like that really good? They had tried beast meat before; in fact many bees had tried it because they were starving and had no other choice. They would sometimes come across dead beast in the forest and they would try eating their flesh. But it was impossible to eat it raw, it made them vomit endlessly. Cooking wasn''t foreign to them, they would often create herbal soup by boiling water but vegetables weren''t a common commodity and cooking meat had never been tried before. It was a human invention so they had no knowledge of it. Just by the smell they could tell it was good. "Tuzai can you use your qi and sprinkle salt over the meat, not too much and not too little." "Baka, you make me do everything and exhaust up all my qi. Even with the pills, it doesn''t recover the mental strain I feel from overusing my power. Hurry up and open your meridians!" She scowled at him but she was happy inside, it felt good to be depended on. The first batch was ready and waiting. "Okay everyone, who''s first?" Some of the other bees were a bit hesitant, but the first group of kids that tasted the meat first came up with their parents, somehow they had convinced them to stay. Sakura came along with her parents and also the one eyed; one legged wingless old man came forward with his son. They took their giant pieces of steak and took a bite. Simultaneously the spectators heard sounds. But it wasn''t the sound of "mmmm..." or them uttering words like "delicious" and "perfection". It was not the sounds of happiness that Fuyo expected; it was not the sounds of delightment that Tuzai wished to see. It was the opposite. ¡ª¨C
