《The Night Walker》 Goblin A man sits on a throne composed of bones. His stature smug and confident, the air around him is evil and malicious. At the place he occupies, no speck of light could be seen. The texture of the air drifting around his domain, is heavy and has a stench of death. One a man named Goblin deeply appreciates. Goblin is a servant of the man sitting on the throne of bones. His masters face covered by a velvet of darkness. Goblin was once a light mage working for the Empire Of Light, overseen by a deity of healing; Raphael. A deity of power that resides to protect the empire. At least that''s what they preach at the academy of young mages. Goblin was born an orphan, he never really knew his parents. He was brought up there, waiting for the day to come until he was no longer the orphanage''s responsibility. Because you were considered to be an adult once you''re 12 years of age. Until one day he showed signs of magical capabilities that was highly sought by the empire. Usually only a family of pure blood mages would be capable of siring an heir that has magical talents. But its not unheard of that a commoner would once in awhile have magical powers running through their blood. Although it wasn''t a common occurrence it still happens once every ten years. This would be a major event, as it signals the rise from a commoner into a nobility. Although his/her nobility will be below the prestigious families powers, it''s still alot better than being a commoner. As you are given at least a smidgen of wealth and resources by the empire. One that a commoner could never achieved. Power and respect. Mages were treated as nobility. And non mages were either soldiers or commoners bound to undertake common things. This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. Goblin wasn''t his real name but one he was given by the other children at the orphanage because of his unsightly appearance. He has an unnaturally beak like nose and droopy eyes. But despite his uncommon appearance, he was a rather intelligent man, capable of planning and plotting. That was how years later, dead bodies of once children of the orphanage who had now grown up and each now had a growing family. End turning up dead once every few years. All of them having no idea why or who they offended; all but one man. The one they mistreated growing up, the one they called Goblin. Over the course of studying as an apprentice light mage, Goblin suffered mistreatment at the academy, and that was where his path gradually took a dark turn. When one day he stumbled upon the book of the dark arts. "Is the portal ready Goblin." spoke a the man atop the throne of bones. "Hehehehe!!" came a raspy sinister laugh from Goblin. "Yes Master!". Grinned the Goblin, his eyes looking in reverence to his master through his dark messy matted hair. ''Damn you light mages of the empire! You have pushed us this far and we have no other choice but to recruit others into our cause from another world! Instead of slowly venturing our options we are forced to do this blindly! "Remember Goblin, only take a few subjects. I don''t know if this other world has powerful beings, I don''t want them to know of our presence. They could disrupt our plans." warned the man. "Of course master. When has this servant ever let you down." Chuckled the dark mage. "Take the Scarlet Witch with you. She''ll be the one converting the new recruits into our loyal soldiers." The man then took off the ring with a red glowing gemstone atop of it from his fingers and lightly throw it in the direction of Goblin. Goblin thin skeletal hands grab the ring in mid air expertly. "Just in case she starts misbehaving. Success A woman with a collar around her neck with a chain attached to it was being led by a dark magician called Goblin. Her once beautifully combed red hair now messy and tattered. Her face covered in dirt and her once beautiful robed is dirty. But there was one thing that Goblin noticed that never changed about their prisoner. It was her eyes. From the moment she was captured and bound by the ring of obedience, her scarlet red eyes never dimmed. There was still a fight to them, her gaze resolute to fight, never fearing death. Goblin, stopped for a brief moment to admire this fiery beauty. Even the dirt smudging her feminine feature can only briefly dimmed her exhilarating features. Goblin skeletal hand shot forward. Stroking her face with malicious intent. He licked his lips lustfully as his eyes molested her body. Goblin eyes stayed glued to her bountiful breast and her pink lips. Next his eyes traced the curve lines of her hips and her legs. "Still." he commanded using the power of the ring attached to his right finger. He grabbed one of her breast, sizing them up with his right hand. The softness of them, has begun to elicit desire and he growl huskily with want. His lower half coming to life. Wanting to devour this delicate piece of flesh before him. ''Hehehe!'' he chuckled evilly. ''Maybe after this mission of mine is finished. I can ask Master to give this witch to me.'' Witches are usually a secretive bunch of people. A hundred years a go their kind was highly sought as their kind can convert ordinary people and common creatures into powerful monsters of destruction. Because of this, they were hunted and sold to nobility and empires all around the continent. This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. Due to this, their number slowly dwindled with time and their race became more and more secretive, usually seldom seen. Living in outskirts of the Monster Forest, guarded by ferocious beast. They rarely come out of hiding and over time, their race was thought to be extinct until a month ago. Where they accidentally caught scent of a witch and tracked her down. "Follow." uttered Goblin as he reluctantly let go of her breast. He forcefully reigned in his desires and tore his eyes off her tantalizing figure and violently turn around. Jerking the chain violently which pulled the witch forward abruptly, almost causing her to fall face first on the floor. The violent movement of the Goblin caused the Witch to shriek in pain. This in turn put a smile on Goblin''s face. ''Ahhh! Your screams fills me with such delight. I can''t wait to play around with your body. His eyes gleamed in an evil light. Finally they arrived to their destination. Goblin slowly open the metal door with his free hand and guided the witch inside. Inside, was a dimly lit room. The only source of light were a handful of candles place strategically around the room. It formed a pentagram a symbol of meditation. At each corner there dark mages; all five of them in total. Sitting cross legged. They were meditating and concentrating their power. The Pentagram helps them control the flow of their magical energy as they each began to prepare to open the portal. "Is everything ready?" asked Goblin. "Yes. Just say the word." one of the them answered. "Begin." Commanded the Goblin, as he step inside the pentagram together with the witch. "The magic will last a day. After the time is up, you will be forcefully returned to this world. You only have to be touching any body part of the creature from another world to bring them with you." "Yes, yes!" said Goblin dismissively. "Were starting now." he warned. Suddenly the energy fluctuation around the room, surged. Each man in the corner of the pentagram were uttering mantras. Letting the magical energy converge at the center. Where Goblin and the witch Scarlett are standing. The Goblin began to fear for his life. Afraid the raw magic would delete his meager life but still he held still. His eyes showing no fear. A bright light flashed and the two individual disappeareds from the dimly lit room. One a monster dark mage called Goblin, and the other a captive witch, was transported into modern day earth. Ekko Sunlight The wailing of the alarm startled Ekko up from his deep sleep. He rubbed his eyes tiredly and yawned. He reached out for his phone beside the bed but he was just slightly out of reach. With a slight grunt, he quickly grab his phone and swipe ''cancel''. "8.50 in the morning. Too early." complained Ekko. Putting the phone down under his pillow, he began to close his eyes, to get more sleep. ''I knew I was going to regret staying up until 3 last night'' He cursed under his breath. Still feeling the effect of staying up. Ekko once again, woke up with a start. "What time is it now?" Grabbing his phone once again, for the second time today. "12 o''clock. I should probably start going down now." Ekko Sunlight got out of bed, his black hair, still messy from his peaceful slumber. He patted his hair in attempt to fix it, but it was still in a terrible mess. He shrugged and came up with a much quicker solution to his current problem. Grabbing a grey hat as well as a grey jacket made out of wool. He began to make his way downstairs. The red patterned stairs was the first to greet his sight out of his very tidy room. He was about to take his first step down but remembered that he slightly nudged his wooden dragon out of position. ''Damn it! Now I have to go fix that or else it''s going to stir me crazy worrying about it.''Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. Ekko Sunlight has a reputation at being a control freak. Everything in his room, has its own place. For example the wooden dragon, has to be sitting at the table beside his bed. But it has to be sitting straight in front of his night light. If its position was slightly changed, even but just a smidgen of an inch. Ekko Sunlight would notice and he also would go stir crazy. Every time his younger brother would hear of this ridiculous matter, he would shake his head and roll his eyes and laugh loudly. Ekko sunlight barged into his room again, shoulder first. Scrutinizing the wooden dragon. ''Hmm I thought it was out of place. Must have been my imagination.'' Finally downstairs. Ekko sunlight headed straight to the kitchen, without directing himself to go there. As if his body is naturally drawn to where food was naturally found; the kitchen. While looking at the now half empty fridge, mostly devoid of food, probably the work of his brother Ekko accused. His stomach growled loudly. Calling out to be fed like a child. "Alright, alright settle down. I''m going to feed you soon." muttered Ekko. Giving to finding a good breakfast/lunch. He settled to fried egg and toast. "You''re going park today?" ask his brother; Vincent. Sitting in front of a desktop watching what seem to be anime. "What you watching." asked Ekko, while taking a bite of his food. "Soul Eater." replied Vincent, not paying much attention to the conversation. "Fav is totally Death the Kid." replied Ekko. Vincent laughed in agreement. "Dude! Dude!" called out Ekko. Vincent took his headphones and turned around to look at his big brother. "Guess what time I slept last night!" said Ekko smugly. "3 in the morning." "This guy." Vincent replied, shaking his head. They both laughed then lapse into silent. Encounter Part 1 Feminine wailing''s could be heard within a certain forest in the modern world called Earth. A world devoid of mana but still somehow through centuries became a city of technological advancement. This did not stunt the growth of its ruler, which spread across the land like a plague, exploiting and weakening the very world they live in. The humans. Self crowned as the ruler above all things. They created things of wonder. They made metal be able to fly, float and run to whichever destinations. They dug all over the earths body. Like termites searching to for food. They destroyed and killed things that was on their way. But little did they know the consequences they would face. When they did know of their consequence reckless action. It was far too late. "Get on your knees you wench!" howled Goblin, as he strike a defenseless maiden. She was devoid of any clothing and on her feet were shackles of iron, preventing her escape. On the far corner of a self made hut, huddled a group of prisoners, which was comprised of mostly women and two men. They were ten in total, including the fear stricken girl now slumped on the floor from the vicious blow from the dark mage. Slowly, trembling, the maiden got back on her knees and waited for further instruction. Goblin grinned wickedly. He look to the side, to where the witch was sitting. Eyes trained on the wall in front of her, never blinking. Ignoring the inhumane events happening in the room. This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. Goblin frowned in disapproval and ordered the witch to look. ''Soon it would be you on this floor and not this filthy creature from this world.'' Goblin spat in disgust. The first time he arrived in this world. He was spawned just outside of the forest. He ventured forth with the witch at his heel and cloak himself using the wonder of the dark arts. He ventured unnoticed and saw many things which shocked him. Great towering buildings, as big as castles littered the entire place. Great many colorful lights invaded his senses. Vehicles of great speed which put the fastest magical creature in his world of Draenlake to shame. But surprise him the most were the frailty of men and women. There bodies were fragile, almost as if they never toiled and live a harsh life. This for him, being a higher being than man was blasphemous to his belief. Common men was suppose to endure hardships for there lord. In turn the mages would offer there protection. He controlled his anger. And swiftly left the place. In order to quell his anguish, he kidnapped women who were pleasing to the eye. Women who were busy attracting attention to themselves wearing clothing that barely cover their sensuous body. Goblin licked his lips hungrily as he enjoyed them wantonly, and discarded their body afterwards. He was right, humans here and definitely more feeble compared to the people of his world. He already broke a few of them and here they lay dead on the floor. Goblin focused his attention the trembling woman before him. His exposed lower half right in front of his victims mouth. "Now suck." he ordered pushing his tool towards the girls purse lips. Encounter Part 2 "Going out?" Vincent ask, while his eyes focused on the game he was playing. His hands busy pressing buttons on the PS3 controller. Ekko fully dressed from head to toe. He was wearing a dark grey woolen hat. It was the cheap kind as you can tell from the loose strands that was slowly popping up. He matched it with a maroon sweater together with a black sweat pants. He choose an old worn out shoes, with the engraving of a Puma on the side. "How do I look?" Ekko asked Vincent as he was scrutinizing his appearance on the living room mirror. "It looks good." replied Vincent taking a brief glance at his brother. "Just going to the forest. I feel stuffy being inside the house for a few days now. As you know I don''t particularly like the overly bright sunlight. So the forest will provide the shade I''m craving as well as the fresh air from nature." announced Ekko as he grab a back pack filled with snacks. "Hmm." said Vincent. * Ekko Sunlight arrived in the outskirts of the forest. It wasn''t very far from where he lived. In fact it only took him about half an hour to get here. Not many people go here ever since a murder incident occurred where a man killed his wife and two children on Christmas and attempted to bury their decapitated body here. You might be reading a stolen copy. Visit Royal Road for the authentic version. After that. Rumors came flying around that the ghost of the wife and kids linger around this forest, making anyone who encounters them suffer the same tragic fate. But Ekko Sunlight was no coward. Those bunch of pansies. There were no simply such thing. Although the eeriness of the forest doesn''t help its currently rising reputation. ''It''s none of my concern. Besides they weren''t even buried here.'' "Hmm?" Suddenly Ekko heard a growling noise from a far. He''s sensitive ears, picked up an unusual sound. The hair on his body began to stand on end in terror. ''Could it be true?'' he asked himself nervously. He looked around his surroundings, unknowingly he began to unconsciously walk deeper towards the forest while lost in his thoughts. Just to be safe, Ekko quickly made a run towards a nearby tree, he hid behind the body of the tree, and he looked towards the source of the noise. After a few minutes has passed, Ekko did not hear the noise again. ''Must have been my imagination of course''. He sighed in relief. There was a flash of movement and behind him was a growl. The sort of growl a dog would make except it was deeper and far more sinister. He slowly turn around to find a giant dog staring at him with its red eyes. Its size was so large that it could have been mistaken for a cattle. But Ekko was sure that the thing before him was a canine. There was no mistaken the shape of its head, its familiar features. The only thing different was its color and its eyes. From head to toe, the large canine was black. It was pure black, almost like concentrated black ink from a pen. The large black canine inched closer and closer, it bared its unusually large fangs at Ekko. Ekko was frozen. He find himself unable to move. Like rabbit in front of a predator. His body was shaking, not from the cold but from the sheer terror he felt. "Damn it!" he cursed.''Why me?'' He questioned. As he pump some courage into his terrified legs and ran for his life. Imprisoned ''Ouch my head'' Thought Ekko as he could feel the throbbing pain. ''Where am I? And why is it so dark?'' He could make out shapes in the darkness. Human shapes as far as he could tell. "What the hell." he mumbled. As far as Ekko could remember, he was being chase by a cattle size dog. ''Damn it! So that wasn''t a dream.'' He cursed. ''If so, why the hell am I not dead yet? Surely a monster like that would have gobbled me up, no problem at all.'' Ekko did not move, he stayed very still. In an attempt to lessen his breathing. There was no point in panicking. Panicking wouldn''t help him at all in this current predicament. This was basic anime logic. He smiled smugly to himself. "Hello?" Ekko called out cautiously. Ekko wanted to confirm if he was alone or not, the human shape silhouettes still hasn''t move one bit. "Shssh" someone warned. "Will you stop that racket. Don''t you understand what will happen if that man hears us?" a feminine voice whispered. Her voice was faint and very quiet. From the tone of her voice and action, you could tell how scared she was of this man. "Wait man?" Ekko whispered back. ''I don''t understand. The situation gets weirder and weirder. I thought that this people were brought here by that monster. In my head I have already came up with various possibility of the identity of our captor. Could it be? Are they really real? I didn''t think that they could possibly exist. After all aren''t they only in books? Werewolves are real and they eat people!" Ekko gasped in shock, momentarily forgetting the poor girl. Suddenly Ekko could hear a commotion nearby. It sounded like it came from another room.Unauthorized use: this story is on Amazon without permission from the author. Report any sightings. Ekko went down on all fours and crawled towards the source of the commotion. "What are you doing?" the girl asked in a very terrified voice. Ekko simply ignored her and continued. * Goblin looked down at the naked girl sprawled on the floor. Her body was in sorry state. Her fair body now covered in welts and bruises, courtesy of the dark mage. Goblin simply spat on her in disgust and promptly don his dark mage article, covering his sickly thin body. Although his bodies outward appearance maybe frail, there is strength in those bones. Magical energy is a very strange thing, able to produce miracles and wonders. A one star mage could even lift up a giant boulder using nothing but the magic running down its veins. ''The amount of people should be enough for now. After all Master did say to take a few.'' Mused Goblin, rubbing his wooden staff absentmindedly. He peered across the distance, observing the ''dark wolves'' he conjured. ''Hehe! For this puny world, this low level minions should be enough as a simple guard and deterrent. They are also surprisingly clever, handing me the human boy from earlier. Yes not bad at all.'' Goblin and his canine summons were connected body and mind, so he could give order to them telepathically. ''Come here.'' He commanded the leader of the wolves. The leader of the pack, an even larger wolf, twice the size of his kind, quickly bound towards his master. Its head lowered to the floor in reverence in front of his master, his usual proud and aloof stature quickly turned into a meek looking large dog. Goblin squatted down and looked up his creation in glee. I made this creature using the bones of the Silver back Wolves. Its level should be closer to a one star mage. Although not very useful for dealing with mages, on its own. Together with its pack, it should still provide a tricky opponent. "We set off now! Gather the prisoners!" Barked Goblin to his skeleton servants. He summoned them after he first decided to established this place as a temporary base. Although the skeletal creature has zero combat power. Them being one of the low level spells you first learn as you embark the journey to being a necromancer. They were usually use as servants, to cater the needs of the master. For example it was them who made the hut that the black mage was resting in.
