《The beginning of the end of the gods》


 Prolouge

    In a dark room a beautiful woman was sitting at the head of a large plain looking table. The table could easily accommodate 20 people at once and had a sort of ancient air to it as if it existed for many millennials. The woman sitting at head of the table was a beautiful chubby woman, that while being chubby had a sort of motherly aura on her that made look like someone to be revered and worshipped. She had light green hair, an loving but wise face while wearing a dark brown plain dress.


    She had a worried look on her face as she waited for the other members of today ''meeting'' to come. A meeting that is very important to her and her children. As she was about to call the others to know when they would come suddenly two portals opened from which stepped 10 people from each portal. The portal on the right was a bright majestic combination of red and gold while the portal on the right was sickly greenish black looking. The people from the right portal wore armors and wielded weapons of all kind but from some reason looked like city guards with their bored, tired looks and plain looking faces. In the case of the people on the left they intended to look civil with thier black robes but looked more like runway sick patients from a hospital.


    After they took there seats, the meeting finally began. A woman who looked important due to her jewel incrusted sword from the right side stood up and sickly thin man with a balding head stood up from the left side.


    (Jewel sword woman): My name is Lillian of the house of storm dragon and I represent the dragons for today''s meeting.


    (Sick thin man): You can call me Will and I represent the creatures of the beyond for today''s meeting.


    Worried woman : You may all know me but let me introduce myself again, I am Gaia and I am the one who requested today''s meeting from both your races. Hello everyone.


    Said the Gaia happily when both of the intended parties had come.


    Lillian : Hi


    Will : Hello


    Gaia: Now I won''t beat around the bush I need both your help to stop the gods from summoning any more other worlders, the planet can''t take it take it anymore and is starting to die and my innocent children are dying because of monsters trying tolevel up.So please help me.


    Pleaded Gaia has she tried to keep herself from crying as she remembered all the harm to her world and her dear children.


    Lillian: I thought that was the case don''t worry mam we are professionals of the storm dragon clan and will get rid of your pesky god problem.


    Said the Lillian with a calm and business like attitude.


    Will hearing that snorted and said with a sneer..


    Will: Don''t listen to them, Gaia dragons tend to go overboard in thier missions and even go around loot anything that catches thier eyes.

    The guards whisled at that remark and waited on how the robed patients will reply to that.


    Gaia anxious and worried for her children knew both the parties can go crazy when doing their work but they truly were best in what they do so knowing the consequences of her actions but still going forward she said to both of them.


    Gaia: I don''t care who is better, I am going hire you both and I will pay whatever it is the cost but please save my children. I request you please.


    Said Gaia while crying and bowing her in front of the dragon and the creature.


    Will and Lillian were quiet as they looked at Gaia.


    Lillian knew how bad the gods foolishness can get and how horrible the other worlders can be. She only felt pity for Gaia, who was forced to the point of despair by the very gods of her planet. Even though she pitied she still maintained her business like attitude while saying


    Lillian: Since you are ready to pay the full amount for our services upfront then we will work with these creatures for the time being untill the assignment is complete.


    She had seen too many planets brought to ruin by the gods tyranny and felt hurt so many times that all she feels for people like Gaia is no more than pity.


    As for Will he simply accepted the assignment for the money and didn''t care if he had to work with the dragons since both their methods at working are different will not affect the other too much.


    Will: I dont really care if I have to work with the dragons since my people''s method of working is different from dragons. But I still promise that we will try to complete our assignment before the dragons can.


    Saying that he made a strange and bizarre looking shape in the air by magic while Lillian simply removed a dragon shaped scroll from hidden pocket of her armour that glowed with a warm light.


    Will: I Will of the creatures of lower realm of beyond, promise that my people and me will complete the assignment of crippling the gods and killing the other worlders.


    Lillian: I Lillian promise on the name of the storm dragon house to kill the gods and helping in the recovery of the world.


    Saying that the bizarre shape broke into two pieces where went to Will''s hand and becoming a tattoo while the other became a locket of werid designs on the left hand of Gaia. The scroll divided into two balls of lights of which one became a dragon necklace on Gaia'' neck while the other ball became a dragon tattoo on Lillan'' right hand.


    Lillan: With this it''s done and we will began the assignment the moment you activate the items. Thank you for choosing us and we hope we match your expectations.


    Will: Same as what she said and thanks for choosing for your patronage.


    Gaia felt a little angry at how casually they treated her problem but there was nothing she could do as she knew these people were and felt grateful that her children will finally be saved from those bastards and bitches for gods.


    The guards still had a bored expression as if they had seen such meetings many times and no longer cared much about the people who give them the gob other than getting his money.


    The robed men and women were just glad that they could finally work again and couldn''t wait to try new ways to torture the rampaging other worlders who plagued the new employer''s world.


    Will: Also the moment you activate the items be ready with the payment okay I don''t want to any excuses.


    Saying that Will and the robed people went back thorough the portal they came from.


    Lillian: Don''t worry Gaia regardless of how callous we may look but we will complete your job so relax and just activate the items when you are ready.


    Said Lillian in order to comfort Gaia and also left with her guards from the portal and thus the room returned to silence.


    Gaia: I hope i have made the right choice and that my children will forgive me for what I did.


    What Gaia didn''t know that she set into motion a series of events that will change her planet Ruben forever.

 Chapter 1

    Darkness, all I can see is darkness wherever I look around me. I can''t feel my kagune and not even my body in this dark prison. I must have been shot by the dove''s new weapon dammit I can''t die here, my family needs me, DAMMIT move my body MOVE.


    (Crying noises) No this can''t be, this can''t BE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. If I die here then my family will be killed.


    *revolvers loading noise* What was that..... no no I am going to die NOOOOOOOO

    And with that the poor paralysed and senseless ghoul finally dies after being shot in the head after the brutal torture from the dove who killed him. And with that curtain over the life of the batwing ghoul closes.

    UHHHHHH my head it hurts uhhhhhh.I thought as i hold my head while rolling over the ground desperately but futile over my massive headache.After what felt like an eternity I finally felt my headache reducing and go the chance to lie down peacefully and just when I felt I would fall asleep after what happened, then it hit me all my memories, my life, my happiness, my suffering, mydeathall that came back to me and I instantly got into a stance and for the first time looked at the room I was in and what I saw shocked me.


    The room was actually a cave filled with bizzare plants and paintings that give me the creeps. And even my instincts screamed at me not to look at any of them and trusting my instincts more I immediately closed my eyes again to avoid looking at the things around me.

    "Good Good just what I expected of a ghoul from my favourite world, excellent I knew my choices was correct in choosing you."


    I heard from the mysterious thing that just talked. As to why I think its a thing is because it didn''t sound like the voice of anything I heard before and the way it''s deep, grating, and the werid strange sounds it made after every word sent shivers on my spine. And the way I couldn''t and still could not pick up it''s presence anywhere with my senses and the way my instincts are screaming to kneel before it and don''t open my eyes at any cost just made me close to freeze on the spot in fear like deer in front of a car.


    This is a presence of an absolute predator who could literally kill me with just a thought. Therefore,


    "OH great one how can I serve you ." I said in order to avoid angering it and make myself look docile in front of whatever it is. I could worry about what happened to me later once I get out of this freaky place.


    "Don''t try to act so docile, I am not going to hurt you. In fact I am happy and pleased by your swift thinking and your trust in your instincts. I can''t tell you how many warriors before you didn''t trust thier instincts and ended up going mad due to the nature of this room and test with out doing anything. *sighs* I am so glad you are exactly the type of person I was looking otherwise I wouldn''t have met my deadline or the boss would have had my @/@$@.     The strange being had said. I am utterly confused and terrified by the strange being, especially at the part when it said that stage word I didn''t get when it mentioned it''sboss though I didn''t know why but that word strange word almost caused me to shit myself. I am just gonna ask my questions and be done with this *meeting* and get the hell out of here.

    I don''t know if what it saying is true or not but I hate to admit I really am weak compared to this being and the presence it gives so intimidating I am actually trembling from fear and it''s not even angry or directing it''s killing intent at me.

    I screamed in panic and before I could say more the strange being replied


    "Relax RELAX you were killed in massive battle with the doves and before your soul and other ghouls souls that died with you could assimilate in the sea of souls, my boss immediately using his vast wealth purchased your souls. You will be used as our field workforce to complete our goals without us interfering too much with world. As for what WE do, it''s simple we go around to different planets and dimensions to do jobs like getting rid of mad gods, assassinating pesky or annoying planet conquerors or in rare cases saving or curing sick or dying worlds for the right money of course. And yes we are in the world same world as that surprisingly strong willed author wrote in his records. Ummm why are you trying to bang your on the wall."


    I felt I was going crazy after what it said so I banged my on the nearest wall I could find by feeling around with my hands.

    Only after I was sure that I was really not going relatively insane and actually had spoke with a true lovecraftian horrors did I stop.


    "OkayI I really needed that and if what u said was true then why are you acting like mercenaries when you are creatures of beyond and how can I or even my *group* actually help you do anything of that level"


    " Umm okay well it''s like this, long story short my boss and our Lords got dragged into a fight of a stupid sadistic goddess and her masochistic husband of a god forcing them to fight. After many eons we won and got rid of both the S&M couple and whoever fought them. Afterwards we learned that those gods actually fought for silly reason like cheating and the like, so my Lords got angry we even fought for a stupid reason like that, as such my Lords and thier chosens began a crusade against these mad gods who abused thier powers and harming the dimensional wall. Along the way we started doing sort of quests for other planets who learned about our crusade for a price of course."


    "Okay I regret asking and I can''t possibly imagine any of that or even want to understand it but what do we actually have to do?"


    "Simple we want you and your fellows to build a Kingdom in the world of Ruben, which gave us a quest by the way to kill the gods of her world and cripple the other worlders of her world. Oh the other"


    "Stop stop I know who other worlders are and if there the same as those transported to another world stories, then just tell me if there issystemin that world or not."


    " Thanks for sparing me that and yes there the same other worlders from Earth stories and no there is no system or anything like that on Ruben. Wow I didn''t know you actually read those stories, it makes my job more easier."


    "All I want you to do is establish a foothold for us on that planet and cripple the other worlders as many as you can and in any way untill my boss''s real soldiers can come without harming the planet to much with our presence. That''s what I can say for now and the remaining information will be provided once the mission begins. But it''s bugging me why didn''t you say much when you learned we bought you after initial panic.?"


    "Hmmm that''s simple I guess and as for why.... well I know a bit about lovecraftian horrors so if you guys really bought me and my group you mentioned then I can''t do anything about that and just hope I and whoever are bought along with me are freed after this so called mission is over. Will we be spared?" I asked with a fear in my voice to the strange being.


    "Of course of course will will give a fixed wage and a reward after the mission is completed and give you your own Kingdoms for you ghouls to flourish and certain changes in your body will be made to survive on Ruben without eating humans. And know this the ghouls will be divided into a group of 20 and sent to staregically defendable locations for you to develop as our footholds."


    "Okay atleast my people will get to live as relatively decent people without being called monsters.*sighs* So when will this mission start."


    "Don''t worry about that and for now I am putting you in a pod untill you reach your destination. Sweetest dreams hehehhee"


    Before I could ask what it meant I suddenly felt sleepy and I lost my consciousness.


    Like that my journey in another world began.

 Chapter 2

    Demon king kumo was waiting at her luxurious and cute roof garden table while waiting for dinner. She always like having dinner below the night sky as she felt she was back again on earth when she was still that naive star grazing loving kid. Even now she felt her current beauty incomparable to the moon and the stars. Which could be debate for people with her small but voluptuous body, her clear green and gentle eyes, long jet black hair that almost reach the floor and green patterned kimiko along with her strangely innocent aura makes her look a high priestess than a demon much less a king of demons.


    Soon a handsome butler came to view as he brought a tray filled fish delious goodies and treats. He was tall, with a dark smoky coloured skin and had broad shoulders. He looked very manly and had a strict gaze but looked gently at his *king*. She was by far the most kindest, strongest, smartest, and optimistic girl he had ever seen. He looked at her like a father would as she enjoyed her dinner. Since the day he was saved by her from his most darkest time 17 years ago he swore that he would protect her and raise her like his own daughter. He always felt awe at her abilities as she reached the rank of her a king in just less than two decades. One thing he never got was why she called her self a king when clearly she was a queen. Just as he thought about this suddenly the demon king dropped her spoon as she stared wide eyed at the night sky.


    He looked up at the sky to know what happened and thats when he saw it.


    Five meteors the size of the demon castle (the castle is 300 meter tall) hurling through the night sky. These meteors then suddenly stopped and started gathering intense amount of energy at levels that was made it very dangerous for even the peak mythical rank demon king to go near it much less and mid-epic rank him.This story originates from a different website.     The meteors then released a huge amount of elemental energy into the surroundings that spread until it covered the entire planet. By now every kingdom, empire and the old powerhouses were awake and witnessed this unprecedented event. Some even powerful ancients even spread out there divine sense as they tried to understand what released such extreme amounts of element particles.


    After the release of such insane amount of energy the meteors began to grow dim, as they continued to dim the demon king thought this wired event was finally over when one of the meteor started to fall but then suddenly started spinning at an fast speed. The spinning meteor the drilled into the ground hundreds of kilometer away of the demon king castle. The other metoers similarly broke away from each other where one meteors turned into a hurricane of dust as it flew awayin the east , one became a miniature sun then also flew of in the southern direction while temporarily making a new sunset. One meteor strangely became a black bubbling liquid that scattered into the environment. The final meteor once gathered a large amount of energy only this time it changed its shape to like a seed, a very big seed then flew in the north direction. While the demon king and others couldn''t figure out what happened afterwards it was gone.


    But for a few ancient beings saw the miniature sun settle itself on an island thousands of kilometers far into the south, the hurricane moving around in a set pattern on the forbidden eastern islands and the final meteor plant itself in the north, some place at the dragon emperor''s empire.


    It was on that night the world changed forever, it was on that night denizens of the planet Ruben realised that wereother beings in the starry sky, it was on that night when everyone tried to findout what was going on by asking the puzzled and clueless seers and clergymen a seed of doubt was placed on the powers of god in the hearts of the regular people without even the gods realising, it was on that night the gods got a wake up call and it was on that night the most terrible and tyrannical being quitely landed in his spaceship with no one ever knowing.
