 Oops(prologue)

    I was but an outer disciple from a small sect. Everything was fine if not for that one day. As I was gathering herbs for the sect as a mission, i found a cave covered by vines. In that cave I saw a dagger.


    The blade is beautifully adorned with black and red colors. The blade is black but as it goes to the back side it starts to have a red tint. The handle is blood red with a black gem at the end of it. I slowly reached for it but between every step, i make sure that there is nothing or no one around. Granted it is just a single cave with a sing passageway but it doesn''t hurt to be careful. As I grasp the handle of the blade, it star------


    I woke up. In front of me are the elders of the sect all of them bloodied, some loss their arms, some have slashes on their faces but they all share a single thing in common. The look of fear, anger and desperation.


    "OUTER DISCIPLE QIN YU, PUT THE DAGGER DOWN!!" ( Elder#1)


    "STOP NOW OR WE WILL BE FORCE TO KILL YOU!!" (Elder #2)


    What happened? Why am i surrounded by elders? And this power surging through me, it is so much at the same time so violent.Where is it coming from? What is the elder talking about? a dagger? I slowly look at my hand and saw the dagger there. From the dagger this violent power is being poured into me.


    Did the dagger made me d all of this? Why?


    "Isn''t it what you wanted in the first place, master?" (??)


    "?!?....WHO WAS THAT??!?!!"

    I can really feel the power,but this isn''t how I want it. This is wrong.


    "Master, a little bit more and you can breakthrough to the next level and ascend!!" (dagger)


    I could hear the anticipation of the dagger. It wants me to kill everyone to get their power. I feel that it wants power not for me but for itself. I need to warn them. but i could only say a few words because this thing is stopping me.


    "DAGGER.........DANGEROUS.......KI.....KI.....KILL MEEEE!!!" I scream at the elders.


    The elders looked astonished. Then, they nod. The fear in their faces vanished, it was replaced by determination.Then it came.


    From the sky, a man came down. I can say that he isn''t from here because of his clothing. A black and white footwear that looks like clothe with a leather bottom.Blue pants that has some tear on the knee parts. Then a shirt that has an extra cloth that covers his face like a hood. The footwear and the shirt may have a connection because both have the same symbol, a blue star in a white circle that has some markings near the edge of the inside of the circle.


    "The Equalizer Dagger , patented of course, I think should be around here." He looks at the elders then said " Elders! Have you seen a dagger that is a foot and a half long, red and has a gem in it? " He then looks at me, "How about y------"


    His eyes stopped at my hand, looks at me, at the elders and all of the carnage around us then says


    "Oops"

    "I''m really sorry, this was my fault" said the man as he is looking between me, the elders and the burning sect building.


    "But I still need that dagger"


    He then looks at me and starts to raise his hand. Then out of nowhere , I heard a shout.


    "STOP! THAT DAGGER WILL BE MINE!!"(??)


    Someone with a luxurious clothing suddenly flew towards me. Hands, encase in golden light. Eyes that seems to be burning with greed.


    "That''s....!!"


    "Ti-Tiger cliff Sect!!"


    The man with the weird clothing looks at the newcomer and scoffs "You won''t be able to control that, just so you know"


    The luxurious man (last time i''m gonna use the word luxurious) stops, looks at the weird man "I''m the sect master of the strongest sect in the Kingdom, Tiger Cliff sect. My name is Tian Mu. Do not insult me for i am already at the pe----"


    He was cut off. Literally. His body got sliced by the dagger in my hand whilst I''m holding it. The dagger controlled me to cut a man in half. Before his upper half falls, he looks at me with a horrified look. "How?" He spits blood. His upper body slips off his lower part.


    "He killed the sect master!?!!" (Elder #1)


    "I couldn''t even see his speed. He is now faster than before." (Elder #2)


    " Told you so. "(weird man)


    I''m scared. How did i kill him? Why didn''t he dodge?


    "It was simple , master. He couldn''t"(dagger)


    I looked at the dagger and felt scared. Then I heard those words again ''You won''t be able to control that, just so you know''. He wasn''t warning Tian Yu, he was warning me. The dagger is so powerful that it can control me. I was even more scared than before. But at the back of my mind, i was thinking "What if i control this power? I would be so powerful"


    " Stop right there, boy. This has gone too far and i still have to deliver that dagger. " I look at the weird man(weird is also my favorite word apparently) as he removes his hood. I was stiffened by what i saw. There is no face. Just darkness and a pair of red slits in the place where the eyes should have been, I also just noticed that his hands where not normal as well. Contrary to his face, his hands are all just white. Not emitting white light, but just white. He raised his white hand. At this moment, the elders rushed him but they were too late. The man snaps his fingers and everything stopped. The elders mid-rush hands raised, various auras coming out of them, stops or frozen more likely at the place they were in when the man snapped his fingers.


    I looked around. There was no sound. Nothing at all. Even the fire at the burning building is not moving. Strangely, i can move. Unfortunately, so can the man.


    He lowers his hands and walks towards me. I raised the dagger. Even i don''t know why i did so. Maybe I would fight him or just kill myself. I don''t know why but i raised it anyway.The author''s narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.


    He must have seen something on my face that made him stop, smile and said "I won''t kill you, I just need the dagger. I might even compensate you for it."


    " Compensate? My sect is destroyed, the elders are blaming me because of YOUR DAGGER!! HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU GONNA COMPENSATE FOR THAT?!?! "


    He snaps his fingers. His figure changed. The blackness was replaced by a beautiful terrifying face. A face that you would think that belonged to a woman, but still able to say that he is a man. Then the eyes. There is no white part nor iris, instead it was black and red. The left is pure black and the right is pure red. His hands also changed. Smooth, like it wasn''t used since birth. As I look at him, my anger, fear, frustration and confusion is slowly dissipating. He continued to walk towards me until we are face to face. He is taller than me by about a head.


    "Now that you calmed down. I''m gonna show you something cool."


    He pokes my forehead with his forefinger and thumb. He pulled something out. From my forehead, a golden thread was pulled. He opens his forefinger and thumb and the thread expanded.


    There are paintings that came out. Each painting is moving, and for some reason, they are all familiar to me.


    "Of course they''re familiar. Those are your memories about what happened just moments ago"(weird man)


    " So your name is Qin Yu, your father is the Sect Master of your sect. You just joined the sect, incognito for some reasons and you are in love with the sect''s jewel, Liu Hao. So any questions? "


    I froze. How did he know all of those? Is he really looking at my memories? WHY is he looking at them in the first place? AND WHO IS HE??


    "Yes i am looking at your memories. I need to look at them to know what to change and no, I can''t give you my name. Yes, I can read your mind. Think for a second, I''m already looking at you memories, reading a mind is just a piece of cake."


    Can he read my mind? How--wait he just answered that. And what is cake? And why am I so calm even though so many things happened?


    "Wha----"


    "Stop. I have already read your mind. I won''t or more like can''t answer the cake thing. This figure is the reason. I can change my figure, face or even form, into whatever i like. I changed my form into " A human form that can calm anyone even if they are seeing the world end" form and it will work. "


    Even if he just told me some impossible, I still believed him. Is it the effect of his form change?


    "Found it. I''m gonna start now." (Man)


    "What have you found? What are you even doing??"


    " You have so many questions, you know that? I''m changing your memories. Even though you won''t remember this, I''m explaining because this will hurt like hell"

    He thrust his hands in a painting. And i felt so much pain that I have passed out.

    As Qin Yu falls down because of the pain. The man is reaching into one of Qin Yu''s memories. In this one, Qin Yu is on the verge of grabbing the dagger. The man however prevented that by reaching in the memory and pulling the dagger out. As he is pulling it out, the scenery changes as well. The flames of the burning building, the wounded and rushing elders, the Tiger Cliff sect master and the dagger in Qin Yu''s hand. All of it flickering between what is happening and what it is before the dagger was found. When the dagger was dragged all the way through. The one in Qin Yu''s hand vanished and all went back to how it was before.


    "All done. Now for the compensation."


    He stored the dagger by making a black sphere and "feeding" the dagger into it. He then pulls out a Silver ring from the sphere.


    The ring is shining silver. It has 8 gems embedded and all have a black color. The difference between each gem is that there is something drawn in each one. If one looks at it with focus each "something" will be seen. They will see a sword, a spear, a battle-axe, a war hammer, a bow and arrow, a chain, a shield and a full-body armor.


    "Then to complete my compensation, i''ll promise to make you one of my disciple. For fun and no further reason other than that." he thought.


    Qin Yu''s body then also vanished and the man then said


    "Play"

 Power of the Godking(part 1)

    (3rd person POV)


    (a few centuries before the dagger incident, in a far away world)


    In this world, there are two continents that are joined together. It has a shape of an hourglass. This massive continents or continent, debates are still going on with the scholars about this, is currently at war. In the fields of Ihasa, the meeting point of the two continents, two armies are staring at each other.


    The one on the left has a hand holding a glowing sun on a black background. The symbol of the Taiyou Kingdom. On the other side, the Ustij Empire, holds a banner with three crows colored black, red and white flying from an eye. In this world, the banners are as important as the king or emperor themselves. Every banner in history not only signifies a meaning, it also holds power that is usually given or hold on to by the current ruler.


    The two armies almost have an identical pattern when it came to the troops, soldiers upfront, complete with armors and/or shields. Behind them, people with no visible armor nor weapons, they use their bodies instead. Cultivators. Then came the mages, flowing gowns with a staff or a wand. Then archers, some of them have identical bows but some also have a customized bows. There was one on the Ustij Empire, whose bow is atleast two meters long, a blade on each end and the main body is as thick as a normal humans arm.


    Two of the leading forces from these two continents are now facing each other with an intent to attack and an intent to force back. There was always tension between the two. One of the most recent one,the current emperor, was a spy sent to learn the teachings and ways of the kingdom. He was almost caught but he escaped. He grew power to the point he was crowned as the emperor. But this time, it was on a whole different level. There was an assassin that killed the crown princess of the Taiyou Kingdom. Whoever it was, they wanted to anger the Taiyou Kingdom that they even made sure that the crown princess'' death is known by sending parts of her to the different dukes.


    And now we are here, the Taiyou Kingdom attacking the Ustij Empire and The Ustij Empire readying themselves to welcome the "aggressor" . Then you hear it: a horn was blown from the side of the T.K. (short for taiyou kingdom) the war would start now.


    There is someone flying over the kingdom and shouting some spell. he then yells,


    "Soldiers! U.E. has gone to far! WE''LL SHOW THEM THE POWER OF THE KINGDOM!! WE''LL SHOW THEM THAT WE ARE NOT TO BE TRIFLED WITH!! WE WILL WIN THIS WAR!! THE SUN WILL BLAZE AND BURN BRIGHT! !"


    """"""" SO SHALL WE!! """""""


    The T.K.''s army then start to glow yellow and red lights. Muscles begin to flex, some people grew in size, a portion of mages started to fly. The T.K.''s banner''s first effect makes everyone more powerful in a way they think they should be by making that particular aspect more powerful. Some mages have double their mana, some warriors increase in strength, some in speed. The second is second life. The moment that they die, their body along with their equipment that they brought when the magic activated, will disappear. They will then spawn under one of the banners, fully clothed and ready to head out once more.Unauthorized duplication: this tale has been taken without consent. Report sightings.


    Then the banners themselves start to glow, the hands began to enclose the sun and lights flew out. The lights flew towards the flying man. He reaches towards the light and pulls. As he pulls out something, the surrounding temperature rises. Sweat started appearing on his brows. He then pulls out a *Corseque. It has no engraving, just a pure white pole, with three blades at the end.


    "I''M SHINRYUU AKABANE THE 8TH, THE DESCENDANT OF DRAGONS, THE DESTROYER OF DEVILS, THE KING OF THE TAIYOU KINGDOM AND WITH THE DRAGON KING''S TAIL IN MY HANDS, AN EMPIRE SHALL FALL!!"


    """ WE SHALL OBEY! """


    Unlike the T.K., the U.E. just stomp the ground once. The sound made by their stomp, seems to freeze the air and made even the forests full of animals stop and be silent. Then red, black and white crows flew out of the banners. The crows glowed and covered the army. The U.E.''s armies eyes changed. A third eye begins to open on their forheads. Each one of the eyes changed to red, black and white. The red eyes, allow them to fight without feeling pain or exhaustion. The black eyes calms their minds and the white ones will make the warriors, including archers to make their healing factor exponentially grow.Unless it was an instant death, any injury will be healed at that moment. The white eyes however will have a different effect on mages, the mages mana wil replenish in the same way that it replenish when drinking mana potions.


    One person raises a platform made of rocks behind the army and with a raised hand, he collects the three lights. The three lights converged and envelops the forearm of the mage. It materializes until it looks like an arm of a golem made of metal. There are three lights that is flashing, at the side of the arm and two at the back. Red, black and white respectively. He raises a finger at points at his throat and speaks with a magically amplified voice that can be heard by everyone.


    "Taiyou Kingdom, do not do this. Your claim of us killing your royalty is silly. You do not listen but this war will be meaningless,especially because we did not kill your crown princess. YOU WERE MY FRIEND ONCE, SO WHY WOULD I KILL YOUR DAUGHTER?!?!?


    "TALKING IS OVER!! BLOOD HAS BEEN SPILLED!!YOU BETRAYED ME!!"


    "You leave me no choice old friend."


    "I''M ALEXANDER DRAGONSLAYER, SLAYER OF THE BLACK DRAGON, THE DEVOURER, THE EMPEROR OF THE USTIJ EMPIRE, WEILDER OF THE HAND OF TRUTH. YOUR KINGDOM WILL RETREAT BUT YOUR HEADS SHALL NOT. TRUTH SHALL SURFACE! !""


    """"" AND WE WILL FOLLOW"""


    The soldiers from both sides charged at each other.


    And pandemonium ensued.


    An arrow suddenly appeared on 10 people. One arrow. It was the one with the large bow from U.E. that shot it. The 10 people vanished with a light and spawned at 7 different banners. From the T.K. side came a blood red sword that is over three meters long, split 2 people in half on the waist. But instead of dying, threads appeared and reconnected them. Different spells are flying overhead. One mage created a firestorm that emerged from his staff. Another made sure that instead of making the firestorm emerge outward, he made it go inward and directed at the original caster.


    A martial artist buried his hands in a soldier, pulled his heart and made the heart into a small bomb by filling it with a special mana. He threw it towards a flying mage. After he threw it though, an arrow appeared between his eyes. He caught it, but the arrow came alive and bit the face of the martial artist.


    The King stabbed in a direction, and a wave of power just went through people, leaving the parts that wasn''t hit by the force. The Emperor raised his hands and pushed down. People from the kingdom just got crushed into pieces. The crushed pieces formed a hand that is ten meters long from top to bottom. Within the hand print of flesh, there are some that flashed a light and spawned but there are also that stayed as flesh on the ground.


    This took time to explain, but even a minute hasn''t pass yet. If seen from a different POV, they will see that the 2 armies just vanished. After that, blood splattered, a head materialized, a plot of land got pushed down, an explosion above the air, people appearing half-dead, heals and walks again. Then-----

 Power of the Godking (part 2)

    The war stop. The sound of that snap was so load that the battlefield stopped and the people look above where they think the snap came from. Then it appeared.


    A small black dot. It elongated in a long line and it opened. A black hole opened and from it something came out. Big wings, 10 black horns pointing towards to the back of its head, 50 meters long and it has scales that cover its whole body. It was a dragon. At first none of them cared. For all they knew it was a summoned beast of one side. They cared even less because 50 meters is something that even 30 people in this war can take down with ease. What made them stare at became doubtful is its color. There are dragons in this world, but as far as anyone knew, a black dragon or a white dragon are considered the strongest dragons. This one is rainbow in color.


    It didn''t stop there. A man in full armor holding a massive sword came from the hole. His armor is pure black. Nobody can describe the armor, not even the two rulers. Why? Because the armor looks more hazy the more one concentrates on it. His sword however can be easily seen. An ¨­dachi* with an emerald color, that is 2 and a half meters long, including the hilt.


    The dragon then looked back at the man and fired a fireball from its mouth. The fire was black and it was so hot that the whole battlefield felt the heat. The man caught it with just the tip of his sword (the emerald sword, not his "sword") and deflected it towards the sky. The man shouted something and he made a slash. The slash materialized and flew towards the dragon. It evaded by diving down unto the battlefield. The dragon landed with a force that shook the ground. Some people were crushed by the dragon, some fell down because of the shaking. But nobody ran away. More likely that they can''t. Most of them are now paralyzed by the aura of power released by the dragon. When it was in the air, nobody felt it, but now people are passing out just by the pressure .


    The man followed the dragon but instead of landing like the dragon. His landing was gentle and without a sound. He looked at the dragon and said.


    " Let''s stop here. "


    "GRRAAAAAAGHHHHH!!!!!"


    The dragon pounced at the man. He swiped with a claw and the man parried it. The physical claw stopped, but the force of it made three long slashes behind the man and killed people with it. This happened 5 more times. Each slash kills people by the hundreds. Nobody can move even the rulers who are in the air, so even if they saw the slash coming, they can only accept it. When the dragon moves, its spiky tail impaling people with it, adding more to the list of indirect kills. The man on the other hand is just defending. No one knows if he is cornered because he is just defending or if he is underestimating the dragon by just defending. Either way, he is powerful enough to parry attacks from the dragon.


    The man then looks at the carnage made by them, mostly the dragon, and said "That will do for today." He deflected an attack and punched the dragon towards the sky. The dragon flew up. The man vanishes and appears above the dragon. The dragon was greeted by the man with a slash. A deep cut appeared on the chest of the dragon. As the slash ended, the sword in the man''s hand changed. The sword widened and made a cone. It has changed into an emerald lance. The man jabbed the lance into the shoulder of the dragon. He kicked the hilt and the dragon flew again. It landed far away from the battlefield. The man raised an open palm and closed it. When he closed it, a huge sphere was created around the place where the dragon had fallen. He raised his fist and using his thumb, he pointed down.     " I''m sorry for the trouble that i caused. Allow me to compensate. "


    The rulers was surprised from the sudden apology of the man. The two rulers fear the man but as rulers, even if it is a god, they can''t and will not show weakness. They looked at the man solemnly and nod. Even though because of the man and the dragon almost half of the two forces was killed, they have no power against him. They can do nothing but follow.


    " Let''s take a spot and talk, shall we? " the man raised his hands and waved.


    Below them with a diameter of 25 meters, a circle was formed. The blood, corpses and limbs where moved by a force. Even the crater that was there was partially fixed just to create that clean spot. In th middle is a tent. The man pointed at it and flew towards it. The king followed. When the king entered the tent, there was a table with 3 chairs. On the table is a tea set and some snacks. The man sat in one of the three chairs and gestured the king to seat. The emperor suddenly materialized in front of the table. The man also gestured for him to seat. The emperor bowed a little and sat. The king grunted and took a place. The rulers removed their respective helm and out it on the table, a gesture of respect when doing negotiations between powers. The man did not removed his helmet and still spoke which made the eyebrows of the rulers twitch.


    " My name is.......John Doe. " The man chuckled which the two did not get. "I was here because that dragon dragged me here. I simply wanted to apologize for what the dragon did. So, as compensation i will stop this war and give you two something to make you powerful. How about it?"


    The rude man made the emperor annoyed but otherwise relieved. He wanted stop the war in the first place but the war ending is also good for him.


    The king however, is in fact furious. Furious about him not avenging his daughter, even though the "culprit", the emperor himself, is right there, he can''t move against him right now.


    " I agree, this war was meaningless if not downright stupid. We lost a lot of men, it is time for us to lick our wounds and retreat.As for the matter about his daugh-"


    "DON''T YOU DARE EVEN MENTION MY DAUGHTER!! I WILL KILL YOU TODAY EVEN IF IT IS THE LAST THING I DO!!"


    " Calm down Shinryuu, I wouldn''t go so far as to kill your daughter just to initiate a war! You were reckless, rash and now at least half of your forces are dead. "


    The king was even more furious now. He was being disrespected by the emperor by scolding him like a child. It didn''t end there. The emperor was known for his sharp tongue.


    "I wish that i had killed your daughter so that this pointless war didn''t have to be so pointless. And the lives of my and your forces wouldn''t be wasted like that."


    " THAT IS IT DRAGONSLAYER!! YOU ARE GONNA DIE NOW! "


    The king brandished his corseque and aim a stab at the emperor. The emperor''s hand with the glove shone and he raised it to block the attack.


    At this moment, the man who was silently listening moved. He moved far faster than the two. He grabbed the two artifacts. And with an invisible force, he made these two into coins. A pure white one and a bronze with black, red and white dots.


    "Now that the weapons are gone. Let''s continue to talk."
