《Peerless Daughter of Heaven (dead....for now)》 Narration (whatever you call this) 鈥?organ freeman? + Prologue: Black out Tao or Dao is a word signifying in abstract- ''way'', ''path'', ''route'', ''key'' or sometimes more loosely- ''doctrine'' or ''principle''. The Dao is the intuitive knowing of "life" that cannot be grasped full-heartedly as just a concept but is known nonetheless through actual living experience of one''s everyday being. The Dao is not a ''name'' for a ''thing'' but the underlying natural order of the Universe whose ultimate essence is difficult to circumscribe due to it being non conceptual yet evident'' in one''s being of aliveness. The Dao is "Eternally Nameless¡± and is to be distinguished from the countless ''named'' things, which are considered to be its manifestations. ¡®Immortality¡¯ is sought; the ¡®Dao¡¯ is what you seek; what you find is ¡®Life¡¯; become eternal, as the Dao is Nameless. A simple, yet uncultured way of defining the Dao is |Unrestrained| [Through Beginnings there Are Ends. Through Eternity there are No Beginning. Through Eternity there are No Ends. Through Ends there are beginnings. Nothing is Eternal, yet nothing may End, as one thing Passes, Another can Begin] As such, here is how a peerless daughter of heaven was born! Strange how the heavens work¡it is also a part of the Martial path, just a strange origin. ..................................................................................... Prologue: Black out Breathing heavily, 2 men, one with black hair wielding a large 2-handed heavy sword and another with red hair duel wielding a set of swords. They were clashing it an obvious life or death battle. They knew that the next round of attacks was going to end it. ¡°If I die here today, and buy your hands, I won¡¯t be able to be a man again in my next life!! I¡¯ll vow to even be reborn as your own beloved granddaughter just to call you respectfully as my Grandfather!!!¡± Angrily screamed with extreme sarcasm, the handsome black haired man with appearance of a 22-23 year old again held up his sword. In the next moment he slashed his large 2-handed heavy sword towards another young looking man.Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. A loud slashing sound was heard ¡°Ha ha ha, Not that I like the idea of it being you. But that idea would be interesting indeed.¡± Replied the young looking man seemingly in his mid 20s, as his long blazing red hair whipped around, moving from strong wind currents cutting full force from the black haired mans large blade moving towards the red haired man in terrifying speeds. ¡°DIE!!!¡± As the strike neared the red haired man, in an instant he slightly lifted the 2 swords in his hand and slashed with an indomitable force! A sharp sounding movement was heard. The blades met! Just as the black haired man assumed he was about to break the guard the red haired man had used, all a bit incredulous, he was stunned to notice he was blocked by only a single one of the thin blades from the red haired man, well the other¡was coming closer and closer to the black haired mans neck!! Swishing sounds were heard Not half an inch from having his head taken clean off! The black haired man managed to escape at the last moment, but this sent a spine chilling sensation throughout his body, he was moments away from losing his head. But, not an instant after escaping from the entanglement, he noticed that the red heads expression was calm, as if everything had gone to plan. In that split instant! A piecing sounded. The black haired man looked down to find, his heart had been pierced through. The sword he thought was evaded had pieced him. From how it appears, the slash to the throat was a feint, a set up! In order to make the black haired man dodge in a certain way, the sword clash was set up to attack at a somewhat awkward angle, you could only say it was brilliant. He could faintly tell, the red head set him up with a very simple yet flawlessly played goading technique to have the black haired man walk through his own doorway to death. As he dodged, the red head, removed his sword from the inconceivable block, smoothly, without resistance or delay, and enclosed the black haired man from the slash to his neck, making it so he only had very limited options in movement; The true danger of duel wielding opponents... is when they have the skill to entrap an opponent, using one sword in each hand as if they are separate organisms; Like fighting two people, with absolute trust in each other. ¡°Ha ha¡± a bitter laugh came from the black haired man¡giving a wry smile to the red haired man. ¡°It has ended. It¡¯s time for your rest old friend. Ha ha, we may appear young to mortals¡but we¡¯ve played this game for far to long, one of us is finally leaving. I was kind of hoping in a dark place in my heart that it would be me¡± with a sigh, the red haired man looked away from the black haired man who was already in the doorstep of death. ¡°ha¡.ah-ha ah-ha ha-uhk!¡± with a laugh the black haired man, still holding on, coughed up blood... he was still conscious, even being stabbed through the heart¡.because he had something he needed to say, something the red haired man must hear before he passed on into the arms of Nirvana ¡°Chris¡± he struggled to say loudly enough for the red haired, apparently his name was Chris. ¡°Ta-take care of-¡° before he could even get through the short sentence, he spat out more blood and his eyes dim. Somehow he managed to continue in his last fleeting of moments ¡°of me¡I¡.I will¡..Se-see¡¡.you soo¡..soon¡.ehe ehe¡..what I said¡.wa-¡.was a ¡.WAS A VOW!!!¡° as the words rang out, blood flowed from his five orifices and the wound inflicted by , he was dead. The Red haired man looked at the black haired man with a dumbfounded expression. Thinking of something, he abruptly remembered not even 5 minutes ago¡the black haired man said, something that would only be interpreted as a screaming of hysteric, you¡¯d only direct towards an enemy you don¡¯t wish to be defeated by. A good minute later, Chris shouted from his imagination, and at that moment a strange light was caught in corner of his eye, something was in hand of the now deceased body of Yun. Picking it from that hand. ¡°What!?...hm? This is¡you¡!!!¡± With a sigh, Chris looked at it and thought about a few things mumbling and soon a multitude of strange expressions appeared on his face, soon he began laughing deeply. ¡°Nicely played Yun¡.Ah ha ha ha¡¡I wonder if my Granddaughter will be a beauty!?¡± Without a moment¡¯s thought, and a strange unexplainable sense of joy pervading his entire body, he replied to his own question. ¡±OF COURSE SHE¡¯LL BE A BEAUTY!! AHA HA HA HA HA!!¡± A few minutes of questionable laughter and more mumblings to himself, Chris finally began to calm down before saying well looking at the body of Yun. ¡°I¡¯ll see you soon old friend¡no, that¡¯s not right anymore ha ha...I¡¯ll see you soon my beloved Granddaughter!! Aha ha ha ha ha!!!~¡± After calming down once again, Chris stopped and once again deeply thought about some things. Mumbling once again he stopped and sighed. ¡°I¡¯ll have to think about this later¡± With a sigh, Chris mumbled to himself even more as he incinerated Yun¡¯s body with his killing Flame Power ¡¡±You got me¡heh heh. Wonder if you¡¯ll keep your memories? That¡¯ll make things more interesting in my life I guess, HA HA HA!¡± And with that, He picked up the leftover items that dropped after Yun was incinerated and walked away. The two of them have been fighting each other, as rivals for over 30,000 years. As Chris finally thought it was over, he remembered why¡and let lose all his killing intent, causing all within a thousands miles feel absolute dread. But he remembered what will happen in the future and knew it was going to be somewhat fun and will happen before long. He only hoped this won¡¯t be a bad thing and can enjoy it. They never actually hated each other, so they haven¡¯t had any reason to kill, but Yun appeared recently and told Chris something that made killing intent explode from him, it wasn¡¯t towards Yun, however¡ The same news he learnt from Yun, was the reason he had to die, an old friend that must be killed. Yun obviously didn¡¯t want to die and wasn¡¯t content with being killed, but he seemed to have made plans of his own as can be seen by the object Chris retrieved from his body, so Chris understood what he meant. chapter 1 Soul and Vow 400 years later¡ . . . In a large mansion, a room 10x10m in size, a young woman in her early 20s was currently in the later process of giving birth and only few people were in the room. In fact, within the whole house there were only the people in the room. A red haired man, a blond women midwifing, a black haired young man, the mother giving birth. ¡°The baby is coming!¡± The white jade like, flawless skinned, blond women yelled lightly. This blond woman is the red haired mans wife, and the one giving birth is his daughter Celia. He is currently excited to see his Granddaughter, holding the soul of Yun, formerly the black haired man he killed in their final battle. He doesn¡¯t really know how to act, if the child remembers him, then so be it, the child is still his blood. But, if she doesn¡¯t, nothing will change; it just won¡¯t be as interesting. ¡¡ 15 minutes later, as if nothing happened, the room had been cleansed and the scene of giving birth was as if it never happened. A beautiful women in her early 20s, was holding a baby girl giving her a loving expression, it was Celia. Her husband also had shown a loving expression while having a lovers talk with her. Chris was standing to the left had side of the bed and the other side, his son-in-law¡This black haired son in law of his resembled Yun in Chris¡¯s mind, but he didn¡¯t believe after 500 years a young man of 26 years would be related to him, and chose to believe it a coincidence. Even if the Vow was brought into consideration, he still didn¡¯t believe in it. Nobody would ever know that this young man was truthfully an extremely thin blood relation to the Yun of the past. No one would know, not even Yun of old, the young man himself and certainly not Chris. But fate has its role in everything, and this was an interesting role being played out. ¡°Lin boy. Celia.¡± Called Chris to gain the attention of the 2. Lin was the family name of his son in law, but that¡¯s just how his people prefer being called. Family name takes priority. In his culture, a given name is used for differentiating other Lin family members or expressing closeness. His Given name was Jian. His features were handsome with strong and sharp sword browns, confident and very dark blue eyes full of depth that shouldn¡¯t appear on someone his age, And Celia was obviously his, Chris¡¯s, Daughter. She had flaming red hair with strands of gold shining from within, a beautiful figure, flawless skin and beautiful features with large bright blue eyes contrasting her hair, small supple pink lips and a both, small and cute nose.Reading on this site? Support the author by seeking out the original. ¡°Yes, Father (in-law)¡± they replied in sync, with Lin applying the title ¡°In-Law¡±. ¡°Can I name this child?¡± Asked Chris, who had much on his mind. Especially after the child was born a girl. ¡°Yes!!¡± instantly replied the two. They truly didn¡¯t expect him, to want to do the honours. ¡°There is a name I am thinking of, but I wish to hold my granddaughter before carelessly giving it. The name itself may be unsuitable somewhat for a women in Lin¡¯s culture, I am unsure but let¡¯s not get ahead of ourselves¡± With an indifferent expression he held his arms out to hold his Granddaughter. Carefully handing their newborn baby girl to Chris, the couple of new parents felt excitement. Just the short monologue from Chris, meant, the name was of someone their Father (In-Law) respected enough to even bestow their daughter, His Granddaughter, this distinguished persons name. To the idiot lovers- Lin and Celia, this is definitely abnormal, because as long as they could remember or knew, there haven¡¯t been any respectable enough people to appear in this land they own and manage for hundreds of years that could peak at their fathers interest, let alone respect. This meant the name is of an old monster that had power. A person like this is someone that deserves respect. They were still thinking about this and somehow entered their own little world. Well the idiot couple in love had handed the child over and entered their own world, Chris walked towards the door to the room before he briskly walked out the door with his granddaughter in arms. They let him, as they knew that nothing would happen to their child. This was just he, deciding if this girl had talent or enough reason to bestow a name to. Soon, they made it to a secluded area of the family house that was used only by Chris. A meditation/cultivation room. Chris¡¯s family, the Eeyore Family Clan, is a Martial Family that has held the reins of this land stretching no less than 3000miles, and their strength has been undisputed for thousands of years. Chris himself has looked over his ancestral lands for more than 40,000 years as the patriarch and un-contended against. From inside the room, it is only a small area no more than 5 meters from each corner. Almost completely unadorned except a plot of grass, open roof some unidentifiable patterns that are hard to distinguish or notice and on the wall ton the left upon entering: A plaque that states the names of every patriarch from the first head to Chris himself, there have been 9. And on the opposing wall, we find the names of strangely¡ the enemies that have been killed, yet were not forgotten by all the patriarchs numbering only 100. The newest one had something on it making it glow¡ A Killing Powers Blood Remnant!!! A Killing Powers Blood Remnant isn¡¯t something easily come by, in fact, it¡¯s more likely you¡¯ll find a Dragon God Bloodline in a Human or a Phoenix Feather, than you are to See a Killing Powers Blood Remnant. But, obviously, this is one of the rare times, and it¡¯s not just seeing. The name that this Killing Powers Blood Remnant covers¡without a doubt is, [Yun]!!! Not only that, the name looks like it was written as to disdain the world; As a Challenge to the Heavens!!!. This blood remnant was actually prepared by Yun in advance, to ensure that even if he died, something would still remain, as a Killing Powers Blood Remnant is practically Indestructible in the known realm. Chris had his reasons for bringing the newborn to this chamber. He wanted to see the child¡¯s reaction to this remnant. Whether or not it is Yun with memories or without, as he didn¡¯t believe Yun¡¯s soul would be destroyed or injured during Nirvana. He also had high hopes of Yun remembering his past. However, during Nirvana, time flows unimaginably slow, through the time it takes 500 years to pass, a billion could have past by in the arms of Nirvana and people will eventually forget over an over extended period of time, but with this, they can start anew when they are reborn. A Vow has a lot of meaning if it comes from the heart, especially a Vow of the Soul, which has large influences on rebirth. The influences could very well be catastrophic or be the leading light in Nirvana¡some may even consider Nirvana a purgatory of time. People with feelings of irreconcilable grudges within purgatory will feel plagued by their personality and emotions, blood debts and so on will cause the hardest trial for some, as they can¡¯t exact their revenge¡. for billions of years and most likely may never achieve them. Those without many regrets in life will have it somewhat easier, as they may be content with forgetting themselves in Nirvana, and will in many cases consider it a fortune. They don¡¯t want to remember their times with family or friends, as they would most likely have passed by the time they return to the world of the living, so they can accept it easier thinking about it this way, and only hope to see them again through fate. chapter 2 18 years My beautiful little granddaughter¡ ah, If you are who I believe you to be¡I have one request of you, as I do not want things to become complicated yet. I only hope you can accept?¡± Chris spoke softly, as he held his granddaughter in front of the blood remnant allowing her to see it and all it¡¯s glory. ¡°If you are, who I think you are¡I hope you can give me, a short number as it may be, 18 years. It may seem short, however, it allows me time to think. I may have thought the Vow somewhat forced and hilarious, however¡I just thought about it in the moment of your birth¡what if it isn¡¯t you? Or what if I am differential in my treatment just due to the fact that it is you? Because, as of the moment you were conceived¡ YOU BECAME MY BLOOD!!!¡± He emotionally sighed. He did believe it was likely Yun was this new born, but he wasn¡¯t completely sure. His daughter may have other children in the future, which may be Yun. He wasn¡¯t willing to risk it entirely; he had to consider many things including his possible slip in emotions. A slip in emotion at his age and experience isn¡¯t exactly easy to come by, but it¡¯s plausible that it may happen with a simple action by this child. ¡°Until then, I will have you live with the name Lin Eeyore Yue, in respect to your father, so as of now, until 18 years of age your name is Yue. Again respecting Lin¡¯s culture, Yue¡¯er is how I¡¯ll call you. ¡° Proclaimed Chris confidently with a somewhat joyful tone, yet complex emotions when he said so appeared on his face for only a moment. ¡°By the time of your 18thbirthday, it is up to you¡ ha ha, that is¡ if it¡¯s truly you. But¡ Yue¡¯er, welcome to our family.¡± He lovingly said the last words. Yue¡¯er seemed to react to Chris¡¯s love and naturally smiled to herself as she fell to sleep in his arms. Seemingly saying to Chris ¡°Yue¡¯er? he he, I kind of like that name grandfather.¡± After a moment, Chris walked out of the meditation area returning to the room the idiot couple was staying in to return Yue¡¯er to his daughters¡¯ arms, careful not to wake her. ¡°Until her 18thbirthday, she will be named Lin Eeyore Yue. If on her 18thBirthday, there is a certain incident, she may from then on be renamed Yun. But, for now, my granddaughter will be called Yue¡¯er. Jian, I hope you have no conflicting thoughts with my choice?¡± he solemnly said until the last words, which seemed like he wasn''t asking for permission. ¡°Father in Law, I have no objection, I just wish to know¡¡± he seemed to be hesitating about something. ¡°You wish to ask about the name choice? Yue is a Name from a point in life of a person named, Yun. He once told me about the name, when we were younger. As for Yun, that person was one of the strongest rivals I once had and also best friend whom I had to kill half a millennia ago. I truly didn¡¯t wish to kill Yun, but the heavens seemed against me at the time and I had to do what was needed. Another point is¡He was once a Killing Power." waiting a moment mre he continued" I hope you are content with this much.¡± Chris casually spoke this all, but also to make a point that they shouldn¡¯t asked anymore, well giving them what they wished to know, he was already by the door before stopping. ¡°Thank you Father (in-Law)¡± the two gleefully exclaimed. Of course hey were happy. This Yun was obviously an important person in their Fathers life and this showed he places much importance in their ¡°Yue¡¯er¡±. Making it seem clear that her life will have many great prospects¡ at least that is how they interoperated it¡however¡ ¡°I¡¯ll leave Yue¡¯er with the two of you, but, until she is 10 years of age, DO limit her to only Minor Refinement Realm training. If she does have talent¡ leave it as fortune gained from the meditation room, but try your best to keep her from doing anymore than Minor Training till the appointed age. Let her enjoy her normal childhood, even if it is within the confines of our land and the few cities with close relations bordering us.¡± carefully stated Chris. It was clear to the two parents that there were actually many more things that they did not know. What they do know however is it seemed to revolve around Yue¡¯er and her birth ¡ but they knew better than to ask.A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. ¡°The blood moon will soon cover the sky...¡± And Chris left with that short sentence hanging. As he walked from the room, the couple showed weary expressions. The last sentence made them shudder. But, as it is not the time to worry yet, they just need to relax for now and carefully look after their daughter. Also, as Minor Martial arts was the limit, they decided to include teaching her to play an instrument, also about varying genre of knowledge such as history, language, lore, customs, hand skills. Singing not to mention and more all round knowledge so that she isn¡¯t limited in her interests, various skills or knowledge, except through personal experience. ¡ 5 years later ¡°Alright Yue¡¯er, Listen to Father, because we are going to begin with your Martial Arts Training now that you have come of an age acceptable to train. ¡° Said Lin Jian as he watched his daughter reading a book on [Mortal Kingdoms and Empires: A means to an end] with a somewhat¡strange expression. Lin Yue is very intelligent. Before she had her first birthday, she could walk. By the time she was a year and a half old, she could read all children¡¯s books. By age three, she was reading works by Scholars and the highly intelligent. At age 4, she became infatuated with mortal Rulers, Kings, Queens, Emperors, Empress¡¯ and so on. As of now, she has read the book in her hand more than 8 times, and in the third time she read it, she broke down many of the problems that could have been responded to in a simple manner, which would have solved all the problems. She explained what would have been the fastest solution, the bloodiest, softest and the response that would have had more problems. At 5 years of age, this girl is frightening, due to majority¡if not all her plans.... at her age, actually being viable and very realisable with a very high percentage of completion, statistically speaking, without failure. Let us not forget, the plans were created after she read the book a third time. As of now, it is the 8th. And she has already begun her dangerous plans of Mortal Kingdom world domination, but just as she was planning on how her little kingdom will evolve into a Empire, she heard her father call out to her, so she hastily, put all her plans on hold, placed the book down and covered the miniature 3d scale map of the setting in which the book was based. ¡°Yes Father, Please instruct Yue¡¯er¡± With a dry laugh, Lin Jian began speaking ¡°Good, let us begin. First of all, strip down, father must base his plans on how Yue¡¯ers body will evolve and develop in the future, what training must be done to ensure fathers plans and Yue¡¯er efforts do not go to waste, before you are ten. When you are 10, father will be able to be more in depth with your training.¡± Lin Yue agreed and done as told, stripping to her baby suit. Feeling a little embarrassed, however, she knew her father needed to see every detail¡ or her father¡¯s plans could actually go badly. As Yue¡¯er was thinking about this, Lin Jian began concentrating on details of any development and changes, as of now he hasn¡¯t seen any problems, but just as he was about to tell his daughter to dress again, he noticed a subtle influx of Yang Qi, but it wasn¡¯t large enough to be a problem, only something to take into consideration. What he didn¡¯t know however was this was only the first signs and would be exceedingly hard to notice in the future until it was to late to regret it. The time at that moment was high noon. ¡°Put your clothing back on. Come see father after breakfast, around noon tomorrow. By then, I should have made a plan for your Minor Martial Training.¡± Explained Lin Jian, as he left the room in deep thought. He planned to make his daughter unparalleled in martial arts, even before she was born, however, with the blood moon on the rise and Chris giving a warning, he knew better than to train beyond the Minor Realm or great consequences will follow. ¡°Yes father¡± As Lin was leaving, he was having some depressing thoughts. ¡°She doesn¡¯t have long enough to train sadly, even though I am not one, I could have made this brilliant daughter of mine a Killing Power within 1000 years!!! ALL BECAUSE OF THOSE FUCKING-!! ¡± With a heavy sigh and calming down noticing his dangerous influx of emotions causing his power to flow out. Lin bitterly pushed those heavy thoughts in his hard to the back of his mind. Yue¡¯er clearly had more than enough mental capacity and from this inspection of her body, he could vaguely sense a large and endless potential within her, the evolution of her body will be almost unrestrained and will easily ascend the minor realm in a less than a decade! Had she not been born so close to this coming Era, these earlier years could be better spent on her cultivation instead of the Minor Realm refinement, which are practically useless in the cultivated realms and can only prolong her life slightly. The only thing he felt strange was the Yang Qi that in both an instant exploded and retreated just as fast as it occurred. He didn¡¯t know what it was, but for now didn¡¯t think it was important enough to place to much thought on it, after all, things like that do happen from time to time, even the mortal common people have these strange things happen often, and they lead to nothing bad in the end. chapter 3 A normal beginning Sadly the Minor Refinement Realm is the peek to which he can effectively and carefully train her too, less he risk involving his precious daughter in a blood filled childhood; an Era of Death and Grievances. The next day, around 10am, Yue¡¯er was sitting in her room, deciding whether to wear tight close fitting clothing without obstructions in her movements, or free and lose fitting clothing she enjoyed wearing more, which made her feel free an unrestrained. She read that comfort in both battle and training had an effect of the practitioner in the lower realms of Martial Arts and this also affects her fighting and training style in the lower realms. Upper realms have less minor limitations to worry about, but in these lower levels of the Martial way, as it was stated moments ago, it will affect a portion of her direction in the way she handles herself in both the present and future. It¡¯s not that she didn¡¯t think her father had his own idea and thoughts on this, she just believed that it¡¯s possible her father may be testing her on this particular decision. There were definitely no hints or clues as to where she had this feeling, but she wasn¡¯t particularly worried that she was wrong. She had an epiphany on this topic when she remembered a book her father had her read when she was 3, her memory being as extraordinary as it is, she clearly remembered it vaguely touching on the subject. Stating in more detail, but basically pointing to this breakdown of information, Clothing can define a person¡¯s character and personality. It can also relate to how one carries oneself. Don¡¯t miss the minor details; because they¡¯re all telltale signs of a person¡¯s character. As of this moment, she decided on the lose fitting clothing or free-styled at the very least. The decision was simply because it didn¡¯t feel right to do what seemed appropriate, for whatever reason, that is how she felt. Like a non-conformist, getting told she were wrong, but her mind telling her to trust her instincts and do as she pleases. She wore clothing with a mixed flavour of cultural preference, but all shared a similar trait besides being loose fitting or similar, yet different; free. Other than the trait¡¯s, another thing stood out; Black. Everything was black or at least a dark colour, the only contrasting thing was a green tear shaped object hanging around her neck. It was made from green stone, or Nephrite Jade, but even more so, was both brilliant and dark. It was both green in colour, but had other colours mixed within naturally. But if you took a serious look and waited, at a certain point and only for a moment, you would notice something that¡seemed to look back at you, with an intent you wouldn¡¯t feel, but it appeared to contain much more power than you would believe a small stone should. The stone has many secrets, but they will not be known for a long time to come. Once she was ready, she went out of her room and towards the dining room, to get her breakfast. Although the rest of her families literally do not need to eat, does not mean they won¡¯t and with the inclusion of Yue¡¯er, they decided to always have breakfast and dinner with her daily, everyone very rarely skipping out. Thus making her feel the love she receives more than many other families like hers would give In this world. ¡°Yue¡¯er, god morning¡± everyone at the dining table spoke up, Chris being the opener.Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. ¡°Good morning grandfather¡± she replied happily, giving a cute smile to Chris who smiled back with adoring love. ¡°Come sit by mother and father Yue¡¯er¡± Celia said, patting a chair in-between herself and Lin Jian. ¡°En¡± Yue¡¯er replied to her mother with a nod and walked towards her mother and father, before reaching her seat, she look to see her beloved grandmother, whom she felt shy around, but surely loved. She didn¡¯t see her however and felt somewhat sad which showed on her face briefly, but soon returned to her adorable smiling face that just makes one want to hug and protect her. Lin caught on to the slight change in expression, and immediately understood what she was thinking. ¡°Don¡¯t feel sad Yue¡¯er, Your grandmother is in the middle of surveying our surroundings, and will return later tonight for dinner.¡± Lin Jian told her reasuring her in his usual stiif and formal tone. Hearing this, the smile Yue¡¯er held immediately brightened 10 fold And caused all of those at the table to take a pause. Celia¡¯s thoughts were in a strange and dangerous place all of a sudden, Celia ¡°since when did my adorable little Yue become a boy? It... it¡¯s like she¡¯s fallen in love with mother¡. No Yue¡¯er¡you Can¡¯t!!¡± Chris was thinking in a similar direction Chris ¡°Ah.. my wife, I hope you don¡¯t try and seduce your granddaughter any further¡sigh¡± Lin Jian was thinking in another direction Lin Jian¡°hoh~ Black¡and loose, nor too lose... it seems she understood, though¡ when did I even hint towards anything?¡± ¡°Mother, What are we having for breakfast?¡± Yue¡¯er asked, with her eyes resting on Celia, who immediately snapped out of her delusional thoughts. ¡°You¡¯ll have to ask your father after all, he¡¯ll be training with you from now on.¡± Celia replied all motherly like. ¡°ok.¡± Immediately turning towards her father, and repeated the question, only towards her father this time. ¡°ha ha, no need to worry, it¡¯s the first day and father will only be getting you into a routine. Eat as much as you usually do. How about Beast meat to start¡± said Lin Jian in both a serious fatherly tone, with a subtle bit of jest within. All of a sudden the room went cold, as they heard some sniffling. Yue¡¯er was crying! Immediately Celia asked as gently as she could ¡°what¡¯s wrong Yue¡¯er?¡± Not knowing what made Yue¡¯er cry all of a sudden. ¡°fa-fathers trying to make Yue-er faaaat~¡± as more tears came out, she turned to hug her mother not knowing that Yue¡¯er was reading a story about Beast meat making people fat the night before and that a part Yue¡¯er missed, because she was tired and went to sleep, about it only being like that for people who don¡¯t train on the next chapter in Martial Arts. Celia looked at Lin Jian as if he was the ultimate enemy all of a sudden, but not knowing what Yue¡¯er was actually referring to, she held her thoughts back and continued to try and calm the 5 year old Yue¡¯er, her daughter. It really was a surprise, because after all these years, Yue¡¯er has only cried 3 times including the day she was born and the other 2 where from injuries when falling and getting hurt. Her parents knew when to change and feed her as a child to keep her happy, so they never had to worry about such a thing as tears, but all of a sudden she was crying because eating beast meat would make her fat¡ it was surely a shock. Chris was waiting to begin breakfast, but when he heard Yue¡¯er crying, he waited for her to finish her explanation and although understanding what she was talking about, decided to wait till she calmed down, and she done so rather quickly¡ Childs tears, especially a little girls are dangerous, her father almost became her mothers nem-. ¡he immediately threw that thought to the back of his head. ¡°Yue¡¯er, are you talking about the book grandfather gave you a little while ago?¡± Chris asking kindly with a small hint of interest, as if it was true. If it was however, he wouldn¡¯t know whether to laugh or cry. ¡°En¡± Yue¡¯er nodded seriously. With still watering eyes. ¡°Then there¡¯s no need to worry, you must have stopped one chapter to early. The next one explain how to absorb the beasts¡¯ strength through the meat and erase the fat inducing toxins from it, allowing you to become stronger." After Chris said so, he suddenly felt a chill, it was the glare from his daughter.... with a hidden sigh Chris "Guess I''ll have to make it up to Y-... both of them....later... I was right, tears are dangerous. 40, 000 years have taught me little. these 5 years have been the most dangerous." Lin Jian Not knowing whether to laugh or cry just coughed dryly. Lin Jian "Yue''er....pl...please don''t make it to hard for father... father will make the training a little less stric- NO, this is just me chickening out, I must train my daughter properly, she''s a good girl....after all, this is almost the first time she''s cried.....uh-...not good. I must train Yue''er properly, but also be weary not to allow her tears to continue... or this could be ba- AH! CELIA, Her eyes!...I- I didn''t do it! Father-in-Law gave her the book!!!........................" "Yue''er, please forgive father. Father didn''t mean to make you think that way, Father only said so to allow you to absorb the bit''s of strength within and during training, father will show you how to remove the fat inducing toxins appropriately." as sternly as he could. it was clear he was being serious, but his fatherly side showed through, when he was gently looking her in the eyes, that where hidden almost behind her mothers shoulder. chapter 4 Training (1) "Alright Yue''er, Listen to your father. You should actually eat as much of the Beast meat as you can, as after absorbing the power, it will make you stronger and more beautiful like your mo- Grandmother" Celia said as much well caressing Yue''ers soft black hair with red and gold tips, the colours in her hair showing the strength of her blood lineage...until stopping the moment she said grandmother with a bit of reluctance. "Yes Mother! Yue''er will become more beautiful, just like grandmother!" with an extremely earnest face, expressing her determination to do everything in her will to do so. Everyone at the table couldn''t help but be taken back a little. They were unsure what to do with this girl, which has changed with the flow instantly. Crying one moment, then instantly being chipper as a bird during a sunny day the next. Not allowing them to forget that for all these 5 years, Yue''er hasn''t actually shown such determination or emotion except during the one time she almost defeated her grandfather in the game of Go. She was determined to win at all costs, but couldn''t help it, asshe was forced into making it a stalemate without a winner. She actually grew angry, but it was apparent she was bottling it up. so her mother said for her to just hit her grandfather because it wouldn''t hurt him but for whatever reason Yue''er, who as we all know has all but held them in, with watery eyes almost cried at the thought, but was soon calmed down by Chris ironically. This game Go is an ancient board game for military purposes, originating from Lin Jian''s home continent, not that other variations of the game haven''t been found in other places, but this particular version with specific set''s of rules came from his home that even Chris knows very little of, in fact, all he has learnt from Lin Jian about it is the name; Tian Long Continent. Yue''er had practiced the game for only a few months before the fateful day against Chris; yet Chris had almost 600 years to practice, without holding back in the least, the outcome was as described; A draw. Chris had to admit his granddaughter would have been the most dangerous person for enemies had she been in rule of a Country or Kingdom: let alone a Dynasty with such talent. He learnt of her talents development after having her read military exploits and documents he picked up, or were from the time of his ancestors, where such knowledge was kept in Memory Jade which are quite hard to break in normal circumstances and have survived the millennia upon millennia. If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. With everything, sorted for the moment, the family finally calmed down from the minor incident, and called for Mary, their housekeeper to bring the cooked Beast meat they had actually prepared for Yue¡¯er in advance. They were just waiting for her to come and eat it herself while discussing what Lin Jian will be teaching her first. As he said earlier or was soon to say from this point, he would basically just be planning for her initial preparation in managing her practice and explaining to her what will be happening from here on out. And that he will have her start out with the Beast Meat Toxin Removal curriculum, just for this week so she can learn to do it efficiently enough in the mornings and nights, hopefully leading to lunch time consumption before practice truly begins in the following week. In the following week, things begin earlier in the day and become more taxing as the days become longer, slowly developing her Body and beginning the first of her Refinement. As she begins to feel comfortable, the practice will become harder and more taxing. Hopefully, by the time she is 6, her body will have entered the second refinement realm. At this point, she will likely develop her mutation or spirit. In terms of speed to develop, a spirit would be most welcomed, however due to their issue It is hoped upon, for it to be a mutation, as they usually increase life force, general bodily health and are slower to develop in the early stages, which suit the circumstances related to their issue. As they were discussing this, they all had heavy hearts about the situation, how it would have been great if their was a little more time, even a hundred years, heck 50 years would have been plenty to prepare Yue¡¯er for it the turbulent times ahead, but, because it¡¯s so close. It¡¯s better to keep her out of it all, to keep her safe as possible. And reaching this point, Yue¡¯er walked in, and they all kept the surging emotions of regret and sadness hidden. They only wished for her to be happier in life, than anything else. But they¡¯re still unsure how everything will pan out in the coming years. Lin Eyore Yue, honestly, parts of her actually scare her family slightly, and had she been allowed to develop her martial power towards magic, then they all believe she would be unparalleled in years to come. However, as the news Chris gave was sadly late, due to the literally abrupt birth to all their dismay, which on it''s own is a story for another day. They all had a heavy heart and untold falling of guilt, when it came to this girl, the only exception to this was in fact Yue''ers grandmother who neither knew of the news Chris held before hand, nor of the conception, until it Yue''ers day of birth, in which she abruptly became the midwife. She kept hidden, the feelings of bitterness and pity very well in front of Yue, but felt almost worse than the others, for no reason anyone but herself knew. Why Lily, Yue¡¯ers Grandmother was currently absent from their normal breakfast, happened to be due to her searching the areas surrounding their clan lands, specifically speaking, she was scouring for information pertaining to a certain agenda and ascertaining any potential ¡ Threats. UPDATE: AUTHORS CORNER (Not a Hiatus) Thanks for reading the current chapters and Narration. No, this isn''t a breaku- I mean, No! THIS IS NOT A HIATUS.... (I think,..) (It''s definitely one, but at the same time....It''s NOT!!!) This is what you would call... a~ defining moment in time. (defining moment my ass!) This is where the progression of this series, will definitely be SLOW, (as stated inthetitle, no sh!t sherlock) But hopefully, it will be worth your wait. This will especially good for me, as it''s better that I do it now, than later on, (Your gonna pull a Lazy Town on the readers...shhh) "Sorry to my..." (literally fast to make compared to other places tbh->)Love this novel? Read it on Royal Road to ensure the author gets credit. "Fans, and favourit-eirs, for me literally doing this out of the blue though, but I decided it''s important enough. And I can say, at least it''s better than leaving everyone hanging." (like your basically doing now, after all you''ve done to these these readers. Getting them interested, having them enjoy, having them read and thank you........and deciding your gonna stop to edit.....real cool Hayazi...real cool, just like Hot Coolade (" I made this for you", ha ha.) first of all, I Need To Get Over My Editing Phase..." (YOU!!! @#@$@!!!! @@#@!!!! $ #@$%!!!! %^$#@!!!!) "But, I noticed some things, and they were personally bugging me, and messing with my thought process," (....-_-.........) "especially after talking over the finer details with a friend of mine," (Oh~ Here~ We~ Go~!!!) "so I''m gonna spend a bit of time on them before the next chapters come out,.. or in fact; created." (You LAZY M@$#%^$&*^!#) "Afterwards, I will likely decide to go with a chapter every 2 weeks [depending on personal circumstances] instead of complete randomness or slow updates, (sigh* LAZY!!!) "BUT. (sorry) This will all have to begin after I''m actually happy with the first lot of chapters, and there is quite a bit to do. and when I am ready, I will Post a New chapter along side, consecutive updates," (Pleading for a nice reaction from the readers are you? FVCK NO!!!) "following the Final Editing of the opening chapters, from there, it will most likely be a chapter every fortnight." UPDATE: AUTHORS CORNER In a sprawling mansion, within an extravagant room both in size and appearance, a beautiful woman was currently experiencing the joys of childbirth. The joy was shown, through clear expression of exertion and a wail of agony, the joy is felt. Within the room, there are only a handful of people within the room. In fact, they are the entirety of the residence, not including their only staff, Mary, a maid preparing a feast. A man with long flowing red hair, held behind him with a black, weathered band. He was facing out the large window, on one side of the room, with his hands clasped behind his back. His face was emotionless as ever. However if one were to look closely, they would be able to see the mad gleam of anticipation within his eyes. Yet, within himself, he felt both bitter and concerned about what he will need to tell his daughter. The concern growing within his heart pertained to his first grandchild¡¯s future. Behind him, reacting in their own way, were three others. Of the three was a Beautiful blond woman, with flawless fair skin, striking blood-red eyes, a figure that could only be said to be; Peerless. The women herself, is the wife of the red haired man, Chris Eyore. Her given name was, Lily Malissie. As of this moment, she was in the middle of helping to soothe her daughter as she gave birth. Lily was doing all she could to calm her daughters breathing. This action was to keep her from hyperventilating; in all honesty, hyperventilating shouldn¡¯t be possible for someone with her level of power. But this particular circumstance however¡ it is an exception among the few.Ensure your favorite authors get the support they deserve. Read this novel on Royal Road. To the side of Chris and lily¡¯s daughter, a handsome man with long flowing black hair, streamline muscle hidden within a gown like garment. He had a lean figure, sharp yet smooth facial features almost like a woman. You would also find deep blue, almost black eyes, which seem to pull you in the longer you look. He was showing similar emotions to what Chris had been keeping from the view of others, albeit a lot more obvious and without the specific concerns Chris held. He was holding her hand, although a bit tight, it is understandable for he, Lin Jian, is her husband. However, though he shows more emotion than Chris, it too is on a somewhat cold¡ ¡®Stiff¡¯ face. Finally, we have the mother giving birth. A beautiful woman, appearing not much younger than her mother and father. Her milky white, untainted, skin. Her hair was black with tips of gold gold. The black in her hair is an oddity in her family, but the gold is obviously from her mother. The gold appears on the tip of every strand of hair, as it reaches a certain length, the black slowly changes to gold, usually below her shoulder blades. At this very moment, she was in intense agony, which coupled with the strange addition and sense of happiness; it was the birth of her first child. For the type of beings her family members are, a child¡¯s birth is rare. The child wouldn¡¯t be born until more than 6 years after initial conception, but the child¡¯s body would be fully developed by the 11th month. What she learnt from her mother, sadly ¡®after¡¯ giving birth, is that for their race, birth is exceedingly painful for the mother, more so than other races. The mothers of her race have also made it a habit ¡®Not¡¯ to tell their children about the pain; particularly their daughters. The men of the Race have also adopted in this ¡®habit¡¯¡ towards the girls at the least. ¡°The baby is coming!¡± The white jade like, flawless skinned, blond women yelled lightly. The big H Word + Informative Session: SIDETRACKING SKILLS I actaully hope you read this to the end. cause there are spoilers for whenever it may be I update this series properly...though, there quite minor.... oh, I know... Father Lin Jian is a type of Divi Vam- You get my point? Mother Celia Eyoreis an Immo Culti I hope you do? You''d actually learn it in the next 2 chapters, but I... got.....um.... sidetracked haha.... so, I ain''t uploading for a time to come...(Then, I post this... get inspired, post a chapter.... -_-''" I wouldn''t put it past myself, I''m a hypocrite after all.) I actually made it quite hard for myself with my story tbh, But I kinda enjoy it(M tendencies? nah~ I think)... just Lin Eyore Yue''s parent''s race, have confused my mind, but I really want to stick with my plans, which is why I have stressed myslef out.... but enough of my excuses with a single point of beginning... My Head. Right... so, Everytime I get into the mood to Edit my older/smaller chapters... I get sidetracked. how you ask? 1.) Work. I''m a24/7on call Tradesmen. Simple as that. 2.)Harrasing other writers on this site to make more chapters, and actually getting results.... 2.) Everytime I have time to write/edit, I''ll either end up reading other stories... or, writing things that are like 5 arcs away.... yeah. =) So, basically it''s like... I don''t wanna write the continuation or edit the story to the style I wanted after looking over my work.... but rather, I end up wanting to write about the future events instead... so, the long awaited day where I say those faitful words, that are common on this site... actually, I don''t think I need to do I? you alreadty know what they are....what it is? H So, as effect of immediately, I will do as My Bio Says. Update when I want... cause, for a very strange reason on top of my side tracking skills... I kinda lose all interest in the things I write from time to time, then I return months later, write more, then I leave it. However, suddenly I get inspired, and come back maybe half a year later, EDIT THE SHIT OUT OF MY CURRENT STORY...Love this story? Find the genuine version on the author''s preferred platform and support their work! Delete... Re-Write... Get Sidetracked... Somehow get my head back into it, and start power writing complete nonsense, that only I can understand, that equates to like 50,000 character or something. Then I edit it down to like 10,000 characters, then I Re-Write the shit again..... And I hope you all can tell, I get stressed for strange reasons... and sear in comments, even when I know I shouldn''t, but I want to, so I will... oh.... and again, I''m pretty sure my Bio sums me up? Anyway, my laste update, I commented on the comment at the end..... yeah.... I''m pretty sure my alter ego was telling the truth, whereas I was spouting BS. So, untill I have an actual update, which I really don''t know when, cause I have about 3 chapters already done, but I''m actually lost on the direction I''m heading within the Opening arc so I won''t post them. Whereas, way further in, I have characters, plotlines, and even Plot-twists. And best of all, I even have the designs on the LI... you know, Love Interest... but I have to spend some time on his backstory, as I''ve actually spent a considerably high amount of time on it already, and I really like the character, I just haven''t got the way he looks or speaks down.... but, a lot of his b.story is set, I just need solid details and a history that makes considerable sense to people other than me. I''ll spoil a little... I have a couple of World Travelers, or should I call them reincarnated people? but I messed with their souls a little, and stuff.... I won''t go into details, just the fact that their twions, male and female. Onlder Brother-Little Sister. they were both male in their past life, on a dystopianish earth, just... well, another story I''m semi-writing in the background, which just so happens to be one of my Sidetracking events, but, it''s not as developed as PDH but that probably won''t be posted on here... cause I''m barely anywhere with this, so before I pull another 4 posts, that''s it... I think I should get the opening arc/Book done first. one more thing, I actually planned for the first arc, which is, world building, character building, foreshadowing, and not so subtle trauma... to be at most 20-35 chapters, but I need to get over my indeciviness on Main Supporting Cast Developments... cause, I kinda wrote this on a wim, one time when I was at work... and I thought I''d share... that''s right, I''m pulling the IT WAS A WIMSICAL UPLOAD..... EXCUSE..... well, that''s all I had to say.... heck, this is more infor than I was gonna write, but here you have it. thanks for reading it all I guess, sorry for crushed hopes and dreams. LATER.
