《Reborn into a Xianxia World》
Chapter 1
Chapter 1; Field of Stars
¡®Where is this?¡¯ The soul wondered to itself, floating alone in what seems like a field of stars.
¡®Ah!¡¯ a thought came into the soul and it cried in realization ¡®I died!¡¯
He can¡¯t remember his name, but he knew his gender and that he was an office worker. He died
peacefully in old age, surrounded by love ones.
But since he died already, he shouldn¡¯t be aware of things anymore. After thinking about it for a bit, he
concluded ¡®I¡¯m soul right now, about to pass to the afterlife¡¯ Since it was not yet his turn, or so he
thought, he decided to explore around. He then discovered that he was not restricted in the constraint
of space. He could travel wherever he want in a thought. ¡®Cool¡¯
He spent an unknown amount of time wandering around the field of stars. Sometimes he would
encounter a strange phenomenon and he would stop to watch. One time, he saw a golden lightning
flash forth from a golden star. It arced around the cosmos before exploding into a cloud of shiny dust
and he watched the beautiful scene dumbfounded. He would also occasionally encounter other souls
like him, but they seem to be in trance as they wander around cluelessly. At first he was lively and tried
to wake them up, but he realized his attempts were futile so he gave up.
One day, he met another soul. But it was not like him or the others who were formless. The soul has a
humanoid glowing form. It looked at him in wonder.
¡®Another one!¡¯ a voice exclaimed in his mind. This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there.
¡®Huh!?¡¯ shocked by the voice he couldn¡¯t help but release his thoughts outward.
¡®As I thought, you really are conscious!¡¯ The same voice spoke.
¡®Err¡ can you please explain?¡¯ Confused by the sudden turn of events, he couldn¡¯t help but ask.
The humanoid soul seems to have regained its composure and begun explaining things to him.
¡®In other words, only people who died without regret could be conscious within this place.¡¯ He
Concluded
¡®Exactly!¡¯ said the humanoid soul ¡®Because of this, we could enjoy the benefits of this place!¡¯
¡®Benefits?¡¯ He asked ¡®What benefits?¡¯
¡®You don¡¯t know? Don¡¯t tell me you did not get to watch those awesome things?¡¯
¡®Ah!¡¯ He suddenly realized what it meant ¡®Those exploding stars and black hole things?¡¯
¡®Yup, this place is unpredictable. A galaxy could collide with another one in an instant, for no reason at
all¡¯
¡®You¡¯re right¡¯ The soul nodded, recalling a galaxy that suddenly spun to fast, causing nearby things to be
absorbed into it as it turns into a black star with a powerful gravitational pull. Fortunately he had no
weight, since he¡¯s a soul.
The two of them travelled together since then. After a long journey, a huge crystal gate suddenly
emerged from a colorful cloud. Seeing this, the humanoid soul spoke ¡®I guess it¡¯s time.¡¯
¡®Time for what?¡¯ He asked
¡®Why? Rebirth, of course!¡¯ The humanoid soul replied.
¡®Oh, there¡¯s that.¡¯ He looked at the majestic gate and wondered what¡¯s beyond. ¡®I guess you¡¯ll be leaving
then¡¯ He said feeling lonely.
¡®Yup, But well meet again if destiny wills it. Now then, I¡¯ll be going first!¡¯ Suddenly, a strong pull came
from the gate, sucking the humanoid soul inside. Then the gate disappeared as if it were never there.
He remained in the field of stars for a long time, waiting for the moment of rebirth. At this time, His
form already resembled that of a human.
He continued searching for other conscious souls ever since the humanoid soul left him, but he found no
one no matter how much he tried. Apparently, conscious souls were extremely rare.
During one of his travel, he saw a lonely star sitting in the space. There were no other celestial bodies
visible in Its perimeter, meaning it was too far and isolated. It shone with violet light and everything
seem to be moving away from it and yet at the same time, he gets the feeling that it will draw all
creation to itself one day. When he gazed at it too long, he got dizzy because of the illusion that he was
revolving around it like a planet, helpless and unable to resist.
He left after watching it for a while to continue his journey. After that encounter, the surface of his soul
transformed, reflecting the entire field of stars.
One day, He looked ahead and found a gigantic mass of cloud approaching from a distant. From within,
a majestic gate emerged. Its surface was suspiciously similar to that of his soul, reflecting the cosmos.
He was not surprised since he knew that the attribute of soul gained in the field of stars would reflect in
his rebirth gate. In addition, his nameless friend also told him that only conscious soul would have this
kind of grand rebirth. The other souls would be all drawn towards the River of Purity and would then be
lead into a large Rebirth Gate.
¡®My time has come huh¡¯ He muttered then the massive gate begun to rumble and a strong suction force
pulled his soul without chance of resistance. The moment he entered the gate, he travelled forward in
the speed of light. The whole world was spinning in his sight, and then only darkness remained and his
consciousness left him.
Chapter 2
Chapter 2; World of Cultivators
¡®Dark again¡why does this situation seem familiar?¡¯ The soul groaned to itself. He felt something warm
and comfortable embracing him, that¡¯s when he noticed the sensation of possessing a flesh and
he realized he was a soul no more.
He waited for what seemed like few months before something occurred. The comfortable walls around
him begun to gently push him down and for the first time since he died, he felt air. His immature brain
was bombarded with dozens of sensations and his head ached as a result. But it quickly faded away and
his eyes adjusted to the light. He also heard voices, but they were nothing but noises to him until one
particular voice, for some reason, made him pay attention.
¡°Yuhan¡His name is Shui Yuhan.¡± The soft voice spoke in an unfamiliar language, yet he was
strangely able to understand most of it. ¡®My name I guess? It sounds like I¡¯m Chinese in this lifetime.¡¯
He thought, then he froze ¡®Why in the world do I still remember my past life!?¡¯ Unfortunately, his trusty
humanoid soul friend which was still nameless at this time, was not around to explain.
There were three people in the room as he could see, all watching him flail his limbs intently. ¡®What, first
time seeing baby?¡¯ His eyes seem to say. He turned his attention to the room, the designs looked
archaic and was mostly made from logs. He was saddened by the current condition of what he assumes
to be his family in this lifetime. Two of the people, a man and a woman both looked young. The young
woman was currently carrying him and the last was an old woman. The pair of young couple was
probably his parents and the old woman was either his grandmother or a hired midwife.
The three of them were talking to themselves as they watched him.
¡°He have this comfortable feeling around him¡± The man muttered.
¡°You noticed it too? I thought it was natural for a baby to be like that.¡± The woman said.
¡°They do have it.¡± Said the old woman ¡°But the gentle aura coming from your son is even stronger. HeThe story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
must be a saint in his previous life.¡± They laughed at the old woman¡¯s joke.
The subject himself also wanted to join, unfortunately, he barely understood anything.
Two weeks have passed since the soul rebirthed as Shui Yuhan and he had already learned the language,
a feat impossible for an ordinary infant. ¡®What the heck is this obscene learning capability!?¡¯ even he,
was forced to acknowledge it¡¯s absurdness. During that two weeks he learned many things and had
started to get used seeing strange species of plants and animals. After watching two people
having a fighting match in their village, he was completely convinced that he reincarnated into another
world.
They were known as cultivators since they cultivate qi in their bodies. The first time Shui Yuhan saw
them, he thought they were beasts in human forms because they were too strong!
He learned later that virtually everyone in his town was a cultivator including his family. Naturally, he
too had to learn how to cultivate someday but as a two weeks old infant, it wasn¡¯t yet time. The only
thing he could do was to prepare as much as he can for the future.
On one peaceful day, his mother Yan Xinyi carried him to visit his grandfather who owns a library in the
village. He was excited when he heard this, books was just the thing he needed most right now.
¡°Oh is that Yan Xinyi, it sure is nice to have a cute child¡±
¡°Hello grandma Meng, this is Shui Yuhan.¡±
¡°Hey, don¡¯t forget to introduce him to Qin Yu when he grows up!¡± Another woman said
¡°¡I¡¯ll keep that in mind.¡±
They were greeted by other villagers along the way. Shui Yuhan looked at the wooden buildings in the
village and realized that his family wasn¡¯t so poor as he thought. After a few minutes, they reached a
slightly larger and stylish wooden structure which had a sign hanging over it. He can¡¯t read but he
guessed it should mean ¡°Library¡± or ¡°Bookstore¡±.
¡°We¡¯re here.¡± They both entered after announcing their presence. Shui Yuhan saw shelves upon shelves
filled with ancient books, there were even some bamboo slips among them. He looked at the side and
saw a counter filled with yellow papers. Sounds of clattering came from it and a messy old man
appeared. The old man looked at him for a bit before a smile appeared on his ragged face. He turned
towards his mother ¡°Xinyi, is he my grandson?¡±
Yan Xinyi nodded with a smile.
¡°Good, good, He looks really handsome. He must have inherited it from me.¡± The old man said
shamelessly.
¡°You talk nonsense father, he obviously got it from my husband¡± Yan Xinyi proudly said.
¡°Uhn un¡¡± As they were both talking, Shui Yuhan interrupted them with his unclear utterings. His finger
was pointing towards a book while wearing curious expression.
¡°Oh my, looks like my grandson likes books too.¡± The old man said.
¡°Father, I will leave him here with you. I will go out to collect herbs and will take him when I¡¯m done.¡±
¡°Don¡¯t worry, Ill be taking care of him here.¡±
¡°Alright, then I will go then¡±
¡°Be careful okay.¡±
Yan Xinyi strode out of the library while waving goodbye. ¡°Be good to grandpa, Yuhan.¡±
After Yan Xinyi left, the old man picked up Shui Yuhan and put him in a chair. He pulled out a book from
a shelf and said ¡°Child, let me tell you an awesome story about this man¡¡± Shui Yuhan listened carefully
as the old man narrates. Occasionally, he would look at the book to decipher the text.
By the time the old man reached the fifth story, he realized he underestimated the importance of
cultivation to this world. The stories told were either about cultivators or about cultivation. It really
plays an important role to the way of life of the people belonging to this world. Here, strength matters
most. With strength alone a single man could conquer the world.
He also heard descriptions of cultivators splitting the oceans and soaring outside the sky. Although it
was unknown whether they were exaggerated or not, just hearing this made his blood boil. It¡¯s just that
cultivators faced more trials and stress from other cultivators or from nature itself. If he want to live
peacefully while helping his family, he should probably try to avoid conflict as much as possible.
By the time the sun was about to set, his mother returned and took him home. But not after coaxing his
grandfather to lend him some books.
He sat alone in his room and contemplated on the stories he heard from his grandfather. He sighed as
he came into a decision.
¡°I¡¯ll just learn how to cultivate while helping my mother pick up herbs in the mountain.¡±
Chapter 3
Chapter 3 ; Gaining Knowledge
Once he returned home, Shui Yuhan quickly opened one of the books he borrowed from his
grandfather. It was a book about the continent and it was the easiest to read among other books for
him.
Surprisingly, he was able to understand the content of the book although he did not know how to read
just a while ago. He did not notice how absurd his learning speed was.
He flipped through the pages and read with earnest expression.
¡°¡So I¡¯m living in a massive supercontinent known as the Dawn Continent.¡± He mumbled as he read a
line about the continent.
According to the book, Dawn Continent was surrounded by an endless ocean. There were many experts
that tried to cross it to find other continents, yet none returned so far with good news. What they got
was a warning about the numerous beast hiding in the depths and that travelling far from the vicinity of
the Dawn Continent using a boat was simply impossible.
After the continent, the book also mentioned about the numerous sects and empires whose name he
didn¡¯t bother to remember. But he was interested in the concept of sects, institutions that teaches
about the way of cultivation and provides various resources essential for it. A sect was made for
different purposes, but they were mostly used by powerful states to find and nurture talented
individuals that could be of use.
¡°Hmm?¡± Shui Yuhan read something that interested him. ¡°Alchemists, a profession that refines the
essence of herbs and transform that essence into pills or potions, which can then be used for variousA case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.
things from healing wounds to increasing cultivation level. ¡°He looked up and contemplated.
¡±Sounds like a high salary profession.¡±
As a person from Earth, the first thought that come to mind when someone spoke of alchemist are;
metals, immortality, and philosopher¡¯s stone. Now instead of transforming metals, alchemist transforms
herbs instead.
Shui Yuhan thought that it would be an ideal profession as it was always in demand. But as he reads, he
was disappointed and his idea of becoming an alchemist flew away. To become one, it takes a decade of
learning and training. Not to mention the expensive resources that would be used for that, as well the
need for a mentor.
¡®Well, I¡¯ll just stick to collecting herbs like my mom.¡¯ He thought to himself ¡®I wonder what my father
does as a job. He seems busy as well.¡¯
Time passed unnoticed when he was reading the book. Before he knew it, two hours had passed. After
reading that long, he now had a solid understanding about the Dawn Continent. He learned about the
famous landmarks around the continents and about secret dimensions scattered in the land. He also
read a bit about mythical creatures and a brief information about legendary places such as the Sky Island
rumored to appear once every twenty years. Lastly he read about bloodlines. Although the book barely
touched the subject, he knew that bloodlines plays a very important role in cultivation.
¡°Bloodlines huh. I wonder if I have one as well.¡±
Although he learned so much, he still did not know which region the village was located and he still have
no clue about the cultivation realms. Closing the book, he took another one and started to read it. This
time, it was all about herbs.
He read and memorized the illustrations and descriptions of each herb depicted in the book. By the time
he finished the whole thing, he could recall most of the content. But he got dizzy and fell on his crib
when he eased his accumulated stress from focusing too much.
As he fall asleep, he didn¡¯t notice a pungent gas rose up from his body. After the pungent gas was
expelled, Shui Yuhan¡¯s skin turned softer and whiter than it already was.
When Shui Yuhan woke up, it was already morning. His mother carried him to be breastfed. It was the
usual thing after his rebirth, but he noticed something different. When he gazed at his surroundings, it
was as if the world transformed. It was much clearer and more colorful. When he focused, he could
even see the tiny dust floating it the air even without sunlight reflecting through them. That doesn¡¯t end
there, as he noticed that he had become agile. If he were to try, he could easily walk now like an adult.
His mother took him to the backyard. There, he saw his father training with a sword. His father swung
the sword too fast that it turned into a blur. ¡®As expected, a combat oriented profession¡¯ Shui Yuhan
thought as he watched his father. But then he noticed another thing. ¡®That sword, it¡¯s too slow and
predictable.¡¯
He knew the sword was fast, and that something happened to him that made his perception rise to a
supernatural level. ¡®Just reading a book made this much change?¡¯ He thought jokingly ¡®Then maybe I
should read more books.¡¯
¡°Oh looks like Yuhan is interested.¡± His father, Shui Xieren, stopped swinging his sword and turned to
them. Wiping his sweats, he said ¡°I will soon train you to use a sword but you¡¯re not yet at the right
age.¡±
After that, his father left to the village and his mother entrusted him to his grandfather, Yan Yimu, at the
library before she goes collecting herbs to sell.
It was already dark when he returned home. In his room, he opened the third book titled ¡°Way of
Cultivation¡±. Shui Yuhan smiled. He was excited to try cultivating and shatter stones with his fist. He was
from Earth after all, where mystical things like splitting the ocean apart and flying in the sky without the
aid of technology were mere fictions.
Chapter 4
Chapter 4; Starting to Cultivate
Qi Cultivation is an art of strengthening and the enlightenment of nature. There are several levels and they define the strength of the cultivator.
From the lowest realm to the highest, they are; Body Tempering, Foundation Establishment Realm, Qi Condensing, Earth Realm, Sky Realm.
¡°Interesting. According to the book, there are realms higher than the Sky Realm that are not mentioned. And yet, if this book is not merely exaggerating things, Sky Realm has already gone pass the point of being a human.¡± Shui Yuhan silently spoke while he reads.
After briefly discussing the levels of cultivation in the first few pages, the book finally started to instruct how to cultivate. Shui Yuhan imitated the figure drawn on the book and sat with legs crossed inside his crib.
The book reads ¡°First step, tuning in with nature to sense qi. To do this you just simply need to focus and as you enter a strange state, you will begin to sense energy or life in the air. That is qi...¡±
Shui Yuhan did what was instructed in the book. He closed his eyes and focused on feeling qi. For quite a long time, he still did not feel anything aside from feeling frustrated. Nevertheless, he persevered. Soon, it was already midnight. A child no more than two weeks old sat like an old monk inside a crib, his figure showered by moonlight. It was a surreal scene and anyone who saw it would doubt they are awake.
His parents were currently sleeping nearby. Shui Yuhan would often stop in the midst of his practice to pretend sleeping when his parents check on him. But now he doesn¡¯t need to worry about that as he was sure they wouldn¡¯t wake up unless he cause a loud noise. With a fabric covering the sides of his crib, even if they wake up, he would immediately hear them before they see him cultivating.
It would be hard to explain if they saw him sitting like that.
Suddenly, countless white strands appeared in the air. They spun around Shui Yuhan and eventually got absorbed in his flesh. More and more strands endlessly appeared out of thin air until Shui Yuhan¡¯s figure was not visible anymore.
Shui Yuhan felt the change and he was excited. ¡®So this is qi!¡¯ He exclaimed in his mind. But then he felt his consciousness getting blurry as the image of the violet star he saw during his time as a soul appeared in his mind. The violet star looked as lonely as before, it was rotating slowly while sending out pulses that pushes everything away from it. Suddenly, the star reversed its rotation and Shui Yuhan became terrified. He saw the entire field of stars got pulled and collided with the violet star in a blink of an eye. A world shaking explosion occurred and the very fabric of space got shredded to pieces.

Shui Yuhan who was immersed in the vision thought that it was all real and he woke up in shock. The moment he opened his eyes, an unnoticeable ripple in space spread out in all direction with him as the center. At the same time, the image of a violet star suddenly appeared on the sky above him. The stars surrounding the violet star distorted and darkened. No stars shone in its vicinity. The image only lasted a moment before fading away and no one noticed its appearance.
However, that night was silent, not a bird or insect made a sound.
Shui Yuhan in his room was covered in sweat. ¡°What in the world was that¡¡± He muttered as he fell on his back. He had forgotten all about cultivating and sensing qi. The scene of the world ending was replayed countless times in his mind. He could not think of anything aside from it.
When he finally recovered after a bit of rest, he continued cultivating. There were no interruptions this time and the same scene of white strands circling around him occurred again. He breathed in and slowly absorbed the white strands surrounding him without consulting the book. As he did, he could feel energy build up inside him, nourishing and strengthening his flesh. Right now he felt like he was floating.
He decided to stop when he started to get dizzy. He opened his eyes and exhaled a mist that came out of his mouth like a serpent. He knew that a lot of change happened to him this day, but he decided to confirm that tomorrow. He lied down and fell asleep with a smile on his face.
The day arrived, Shui Yuhan woke up earlier than he used to. He felt extremely energetic. He leaped out from his crib and landed lightly on the ground. When he leaped, he rose two meters high but he still managed to land silently. He carefully walked out of the room to avoid waking up his parents.
He went into the backyard where his father does his training. He picked up a small stone and tried to crush it in his hand. There was a crack and when he opened his hand the stone was already reduced to pieces. Then a dazed look appeared on Shui Yuhan¡¯s face. ¡° I did it. I succeed!¡± He happily exclaimed.
While feeling happy, he did not notice the slight change that occurred briefly in his soul. It was trembling, like a dam about to burst open. It was holding back a mysterious power that could obliterate his body if he were a bit weaker.
He walked towards a boulder nearby. He clenched his fist, then with all his might he released a punch. Bang! Half of the boulder was destroyed when his punch landed. Shui Yuhan looked at his fist that was bruised and then at the half destroyed boulder. ¡®I definitely should hide this from my parents¡¯ Just when he was thinking that, he hear someone call out ¡°Yuhan are you okay?!¡± He turned and saw his parents running towards him with worried looks. They were awakened by the commotion he caused.
His smile stiffened. ¡°This is going to be difficult to explain.¡±
¡°What happened to your eyes!?¡± Asked his father. His mother also had a questioning gaze.
¡®My eyes? What about my eyes?¡¯ He wanted to ask, but he was just an infant. They would probably think that he was possessed if were to speak words now. Staying silent and leaving the answer to their imaginations would be best.
The two probably realized they were speaking to an infant and they carried Shui Yuhan back to his room while they carried a private conversation about what happened to his eyes.
At his room, Shui Yuhan found a bowl of water to look at his reflection. He was shocked at what he saw. He had his usual black hair, but now his usually normal eyes turned violet. He wondered whether it was normal to have such drastic change in appearance after cultivating. ¡®Probably that weird vision has something to do with this.¡¯ He concluded. Whenever he saw his eyes, he couldn¡¯t help but think of the violet star.
As he was gazing at his own eyes a strange feeling suddenly wells up from the depths of his being. The power his soul instinctively tried to hold back finally exploded out. ¡°W- what is this?!¡± Alarmed, he staggered back. However the feeling did not disappear. It grew intense every second until invisible waves rippled out of his body. The waves distorted the space as they travel outwards. It was unnoticeable to anyone but him.
He then felt something come from his soul and then slam itself with great force to his mind. His sight became blurry and he had the urge to vomit. He staggered and fell down, gasping for breath. ¡°What in the world was happening to me¡¡± He said as he rested. He felt pain all over his body, yet he did not even scream. He wondered why this was; a pain at this level would have made a normal person faint, let alone an infant.
After resting for a while he decided to reflect on himself and felt something different in him. He felt very powerful. He knew there was no change in his actual strength and yet he somehow feels very confident. ¡®It wasn¡¯t a change in strength, but in attitude¡or maybe something else.¡¯ He thought staring at the wooden ceiling.
Chapter 5
Chapter 5; Absurd Power
An hour later Shui Yuhan finally found the reason why he felt very powerful.
¡°No wonder I feel suddenly confident.¡± He said. ¡°No one would not be confident if they have this ability¡¡± Currently, he was standing in the middle of his room. Strangely, every object in the room was cleared out, pushed in the corners. It made a wide empty space around him. Shui Yuhan looked at the mess he made and smiled. ¡°I¡¯ll just pretend to be playing house.¡±
After experiencing that uncomfortable feeling, Shui Yuhan obtained an amazing ability. He was able to push everything away from him, and draw everything towards him, just like the violet star. He guessed that he obtained the ability that moment he saw the vision and it just manifested today. But he did not know why or how he obtained it. He read the books but none of them mentioned an ability that doesn¡¯t need qi to use.
His newfound power was incredibly powerful. It doesn¡¯t need qi and can last for an indefinite period of time. Shui Yuhan did not dare to test his power inside the house anymore. It only ended like this because he quickly stopped at the right moment, if not, he was sure their little house would have burst. Luckily, his parents already left to the library to consult about the change that occurred in his eyes to Yan Yimu and was not able to notice the commotion.
At noon, Shui Xieren and Yan Xinyi returned with serious faces.
¡°What do you think? Do you believe what grandfather said?¡° Asked Yan Xinyi
¡°Although it sounds absurd, I do think there¡¯s a possibility.¡± Shui Xieren said as he looked at Shui Yuhan who showed an innocent face.
¡°Really unbelievable¡± He said ¡°That our son has been blessed by nature¡±
¡°Well¡± Yan Xinyi said ¡°Grandfather did say that a huge change in appearance, such as a sudden change in eye color, is the result of being gifted. We cannot rule out the possibility that it¡¯s just a simple mutation caused by something.¡±
Unbeknownst to them, Shui Yuhan could actually understand their conversation. ¡®A blessing from nature huh¡ It¡¯s highly possible. Could it be a blessing from the violet star?¡¯ He wondered ¡®But I feel that it¡¯s not the right answer.¡¯
¡°Let¡¯s just hope that it won¡¯t cause a problem to his health.¡± Yan Xinyi said.
¡°We¡¯ll just wait and see.¡± Shui Xieren said.Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings.
At night when his parents were asleep, Shui Yuhan sneaked out of the house while feeling guilty for no reason. ¡°I¡¯m just going to test my power.¡± He argued to his conscience. At the backyard, he saw the half destroyed boulder still lying there.
¡°Now then, let¡¯s see what I can do.¡± He said and extended his palm towards it. With a mere thought, a pushing force burst out from his palm. The winds retreated and the leaves were scattered away from him. A tree facing his palm bended backward, many of its branches snapped and flew away.
¡°So powerful¡¡± He said, sucking cold air as he watched. He knew he could unleash an even more powerful pushing force but if he did that, he might cause another commotion which would wake his parents.
¡°Could it be controlled so that I could fly?¡± He wondered. He decided to test this idea. He released the pushing force in the ground to propel him upward. However, the force only pushed the ground and it did nothing to propel him up.
As he was about to give up the idea of flying, his soul released a powerful shockwave to the surroundings. The shockwave had the aura of defiance and it forcefully tore all the laws that restricted it. Shui Yuhan had the feeling that time stopped and that he was separated from the world at that moment. He was thinking why annoying shockwaves kept coming from him every time, when he suddenly felt as light as clouds.
He looked down only to find that his foot was not touching the ground, he was floating. ¡°¡¡±
¡®Im really sorry, I shouldn¡¯t have thought badly of you. Please come more often Shockwave sensei.¡¯ He thought sincerely.
¡®But this feeling, it¡¯s extremely familiar.¡¯ He thought of his time at the field of stars. He was able to fly around as a soul and even ignore the constraint of space. Thinking that, he moved around in the same way he moved back then as a soul. His small body flew around in the air, he found it very easy to fly that he felt like it was his second nature.
When he finally calmed down, he started to believe that he was really blessed by nature. However, even someone who knew little would not believe that the blessing of nature is as absurd as Shui Yuhan believed it to be. You would not find a single human in history that is able to fly with the cultivation of a body tempering realm.
After comforting himself that he wasn¡¯t the only abnormal one, he quietly flew into the direction of the mountain near the village. It was where the people collect their herbs. When Shui Yuhan looked below, he could see beasts roaming around even though it was dark.
He descended on a spot where there was no beast in vicinity. ¡°Seems like a good spot to train.¡± He said. In his mind, he already constructed a schedule. Sleep in the day, sneak out in the night. No one would be suspicious if a baby sleeps all day long.
Confirming that it¡¯s a good spot, Shui Yuhan started to release his power. A mysterious force spread from him in every direction. Cracking sounds resounded everywhere as every tree near him snapped and some became uprooted. After a while, the area around him had become a large clearing with broken trees and soil pushed at the corner. All the beasts who noticed it fled.
Looking at this scene, Shui Yuhan was not surprised. He expected something like this to happen, but he still did not seriously use his power. If he did, he was afraid he would create a dessert out of the forest.
¡°Now what would happen if I focused it?¡± He said. He walked to a rock and put his palm on it. From his palm, he released a concentrated force upon the rock and it immediately exploded to pieces under his shocked gaze. None of the fragments touched him as they were all pushed away from him. He stood there in daze as he looked at the direction where the fragments had gone.
Then he remembered that he was not the only one blessed by nature. ¡°Surely, there are others who are more abnormal.¡±
After that incident, he simultaneously trained his power to control both repulsive and attractive force in the forest. Every night, he would unnoticeably sneak out of the house to train and cultivate.
¡°I wonder when will I be able to release both forces at the same time.¡± He said as he looked at the night sky filled with stars.
