《The Ethereal Expanse》 The Mysterious Box I woke up this morning, the same as every other morning since I started living here. My apartment is such a drab place since it is cheap. I sat up in my bed, yawned, and then stretched my arms out. I looked over at my desk with the robot I have been making. I remembered that last night I finally managed to get it to open and shut it hands. I didn¡¯t realize how hard it was for programmers to do those kinds of things, I tip my hat off to them. I think I stayed up a little too late playing my favorite MMO (that stands for Massively Online Multiplayer Game) Warforged Online and working on the robot because I feel really sluggish and sleepy. Warforged online is one of the most popular MMOs to date that everyone and their mother is playing. According to my clock on the wall it is only 6:00 in the morning. I have to be at work at 8:30 today. I swing both my legs out of bed and stand up. When I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth I looked in the mirror at myself. My hair is black, very short, has slight waves and is lined up neatly. Even though I just woke up, my dark brown eyes and my dark skinned face are alert and ready for the day. I finished brushing my teeth and ate breakfast. I then put on my favorite dark green zip-up hoodie and a pair of black denim jeans and sat at the computer. ¡°Let¡¯s hop onto Warforged Online for a little bit¡± I played until it was time for me to go to work. My apartment is in a building on the 3rd floor. I take the elevator to the 1st floor, exit the building and walk to the store. I get to the entrance of the store with its big ¡°Bookopolis¡± sign right above the entrance, unlock the door and walk in. As soon as I close the door I hear ¡°Morning bud, ready for another exciting day of work?¡± I turn around and see Darren Killpit, the second of the only 2 employees that work at this store, at the cashier counter. He is the cashier and manager of the store and he also happens to be my best friend. He is about a foot taller than me at 6¡¯6¡± and way more light skinned as well. He has been working here for about 7 years and has managed to become the store manager. When I first started working here a couple of years ago, he not only helped me with working at the store but was also very helpful when I was struggling to pay my rent and electric bill. It also happens that he is just as nerdy as I am when it comes to Videogames. He even plays Warforged Online with me. We are always discussing how cool it would be if Warforged Online was VR (Virtual Reality) compatible but right now that type of technology is only in dreams and wishes and does not truly exist. I said ¡°Yo Darren, early as always I see¡± He shrugged and said ¡°Yeah, you know it. What did you think about that last dungeon run last night?¡± I said ¡°I think we should have kicked those new guys out of the party before we entered. They were horrible. Because of them we wiped more times than I care to think of and we didn¡¯t even get any good drops.¡± He said ¡°Yeah, I know what you mean. We had no choice though, all of our usual party members had prior engagements and weren¡¯t able to party with us. We should check again tonight to see if everyone will be available and maybe we can do a better run.¡± I said ¡°Maybe we should have let Cupid come out show em whats what.¡± Cupid is the name that I call Darren since his last name sounds like that if you say it fast enough. I refer to his nickname as the angry side of him that doesn¡¯t have a problem with punching you in the face with a nice, big and bright placard smile. At first he really hated the nickname and would get mad and throw a fit but eventually he begun to really appreciate what the nickname insinuates. This story is posted elsewhere by the author. Help them out by reading the authentic version. With a slight smile and a little chuckle he said ¡°Yeah, well every time Cupid comes out things never go quite as planned.¡± His eyebrows raised in remembrance of something and said ¡°Oh yeah, almost forgot. There is a box in the back with a new shipment of books for you to put on the shelves. There might be something in there you will be interested in¡± I replied ¡°Roger, on it.¡± After conversing with Darren, I walked to the back of the room to get the box that he was talking about. I found the box and carried it to the front of the store. I opened the box to see what kinds of books are in it. Looking through it there aren¡¯t many books that are interesting but there is one that catches my eye. It has something to do with robots and how to construct them. ¡°Hmmm¡..I will have to check this out later.¡± I lifted my head up from and yelled ¡°Hey Darren, there is a book in here I am interested in. Mind if I borrow it?¡± He yelled back ¡°Sure, go ahead. Just make sure you bring it back.¡± This store sells all different kinds of books from Non-fiction to Historical Documentaries. They also let you read books and not buy them and since I work here I have the special privilege of borrowing the books before the hit the shelves. I smiled and put the robot book on the side while I finished putting the rest of the books on the assorted shelves. The rest of the time at work was fairly uneventful with the only thing of note being some customer thought it was funny to constantly reposition a book every time I put it back on the shelf. Needless to say, Darren and I insured that the customer was taxed a little bit higher today. I said ¡°Hey Darren, I just finished sweeping and I am about to head back home. Anything else you need me to do before I go?¡± He took a quick look around and said ¡°Nope, we did not get too many customers today, which isn¡¯t surprising, so there isn¡¯t much else to do. I can take care whatever is left and lock up. You can head home.¡± I replied ¡°Cool beans. Alright, I will see you on later tonight¡± I went back to grab the robot book before I left work for the day. I was so eager to read the book that the walk back home completed before I realized it. I sat in my desk chair, reclined and started to dig in to the book as soon as I got back to my apartment. In between chapters, when I find something that I can apply to my robot, I switch back and forth from reading to testing out what I read. A couple of hours go by and I am thoroughly satisfied with what I was able to acquire and apply to my robot from the book I was reading. Now I am able to make it walk at a nice pace back and forth and also the hand that has a grappling hook actually launches and latches onto things. I am so excited that I decide to go outside and test it. I unhook the data cable from the robot and head outside. About 20 minutes later I find a good clearing in the area to test my robot. This area does not have that many trees around and is far away enough that I will not be disturbed. There is a slight breeze blowing so I pull my hood over my head and continue to look around. I start thinking about what I should do next. I sat my robot down on the ground and using my Control Watch (Device that is used like a remote control for the robot) I controlled its legs and arms. I moved it about 10 feet when I looked up and I saw a slight shimmering of light a couple of yards away between two trees. Its faint but I can see it. Then it disappeared and reappeared immediately. It does this a couple of times when it finally starts to stabilize and appear solid. Its looks like a really big rectangular box, like the ones I have seen at construction sites. I stare with my eyes open wide in awe and admiration at the barely visible object ahead of me. As I look on, the light gets really strong and there is a loud sound like a window being shattered and some kind of strong shockwave or pulse is released from the object and I am pushed onto my back. I lay there dazed for a second trying to get my bearings. I get back up and look at the now completely visible box. Upon first glance it looks like it is made of metal. I try and locate where my robot went. It didn¡¯t get thrown too far. I pick it up and slowly approach the box. I notice that the surface is not entirely metal but a kind of combination of something else. There are no signs, protrusions or any noticeable marks of any kind on the surface. I go to one of the shorter ends and stretch out my hand. I somewhat hesitate to touch it but decided to just do it. I touch it and it is cool to the touch. It has a metallic and organic feel to it. Once my hand is on the surface for a couple of seconds I start to feel a warm tingling sensation. I try to pull my hand away but it is held in place to the surface. I pull and pull to no avail. Then suddenly my hand is released and I fall backwards on my butt flinging my hood off my head and I dropped my robot. I look at the place where my hand just was and there is a glowing hand print there that starts to slowing fade away. Once the hand print disappears completely the middle of the surface starts to vanish almost like its crawling away. When the vanishing surface is gone there is nothing but darkness inside. At this point I pick up the robot, get off the ground, wipe away the dirt and grass from my butt and look into the darkness. I cannot make out anything inside. As I stare a light abruptly turns on and for a second I am blinded. When my sight is returned to normal I take another look inside. From where I am standing I can see some kind of boxes on the inside, maybe computer panels and maybe monitors. I start to walk closer to get a better look. I think aloud ¡°Well, since I am already here might as well go in.¡± Half-Dead Female When I go inside my body feels as though I passed through some kind of invisible wall of something. It¡¯s not thick enough to see or feel directly on your skin but can be sensed, however weird that sounds. Disregarding that for another time I continue to walk forward. The walls, ceiling, and floor all have the look of the outside surface. On my left and right side are weird boxes I spotted earlier made of the same material as the outside walls. There are 1 on the left and 1 on the right. There are some tubes coming out of the boxes that lead to some terminals on both sides. Other than those things there doesn¡¯t appear to be anything else in the compartment. I reach the other end and there is nothing there but a wall. My gut tells me to touch it but common sense tells me that touching things you don¡¯t know about can sometimes get you killed. I think it over and my gut wins so I place my hand on the wall as I have done on the outside and wait to see if something happens. After about a second I start to get the same sensation as before. I once again try to pull my hand away and it is just as before, my hand is held in place. Once I am able to I remove my hand and there is a glowing hand print that starts to slowly disappear, as before. I wait a little longer and the wall began to vanish. When it is gone I walk through to the other side and as soon as I take a couple of steps I notice a strong smell that reminds me of a mix between hot metal and burnt flesh. The smell is so overpowering that I stagger a bit and feel slightly nauseated. I attempt to mentally block the smell and proceed. This compartment is rather different bigger than the previous one and judging from the shape outside, this is the last compartment. There are as many as 12 consoles scattered around in this room. I walk closer to one of the consoles on the side and notice that the buttons are all weird symbols that I have never seen before. I slowly walk towards the center, around what looks like the biggest console in the compartment. Once I get to the other side I froze in my tracks. Right in front of me appears to be some female, in her late twenties, wearing a dirty, bloodied and torn hospital gown lying face up in a pool of blood. She has multiple tiny wounds on her body, 2 circular holes on her upper torso which appear to be made from some kind of laser and a wound on the neck which looks like someone or something tried to strangle her. I also notice that she is the source of the smell from earlier. What is really strange is that her skin is a light blue metallic color like she is an android or something like that. How is it possible for someone to have that kind of skin? Maybe she is some kind of alien trying to take over mankind. Naw, or else I would probably be dead already. I wonder if she is dead. A closer inspection reveals that she is still breathing. A closer inspection also reveals that she has a nice sized bust! I immediately lightly slap myself in the face for thinking such lewd thoughts. I am no doctor but it looks like she is dying. With that much blood loss, I don¡¯t know how long she has left. I am both excited and wary of the possibility of an alien appearing and it is not because she is easy to look at, minus the wounds and blood. Ugh, shut up lewd thoughts¡. While I am lost in thought I hear a beeping sound coming from one of the consoles behind me. I turn and look at it. In the center of the console is a glowing hand imprint. I approach and examine it and discover that it is identical to the ones that were left after I removed my hand before and looks like it is exactly my hand size. I take a risk and put my hand on the glowing imprint. As soon as I make contact instead of the warm tingling feeling I got last time I get a powerful surge from the console to my hand through my arm all the way up to my head. I dropped my robot and put my hand on my head without realizing it. My head feels as though someone is trying to stick a whole bag of potatoes into a small tin can. My hand is forced to stay in place as I endure the mind-numbing, head bashing pain. I try to go back to the lewd thoughts in order to focus on something other than the pain. It works and the pain is slightly lessened. Once the pain ceased my hand was released and I kneeled panting from the force of the pulse with my other hand still on my head. Once the pain had somewhat subsided I picked my robot up and stood. I looked at the hand I put on the console to see how damaged it was even though there was no lingering pain and was quite surprised to see that there were no visible markings on it at all. I turned around still marveled at my hand when I heard the half-dead female speak.Unauthorized usage: this tale is on Amazon without the author''s consent. Report any sightings. She said, ¡°The console that you placed your hand on sent a powerful concentrated electrical pulse that transfixed your brain with hundreds of tiny Nanobots to understand the spoken language of my people¡±. The voice is both very soft and warm but hardy with a slightly monotone sound to it. But the words that she spoke sounded as if she was having difficulty speaking and her eyes stayed firmly shut displaying her deep focus on keeping the pain at bay. I said ¡°Hmmm¡.Nanobots eh? I heard about those before in one or two Sci-fi books, didn¡¯t know they actually existed. So I can say with confidence that it is just a little bit creepy to have lots of little things crawling or swimming in my head doing what they want. Is this safe? I am not going to die or something right?¡± She said with slight smile ¡°I could explain the whole process to you but I don¡¯t have much time and this was the quickest way for us to be able to communicate with each other. I am rather surprised at how calmly you¡¯re accepting things that you don¡¯t understand.¡± I replied ¡°I have watched plenty of movies and played more video games than I can remember so I am more or less conditioned for these kinds of situations. I was a little surprised at first but I have a flexible mind and I am pretty accepting of things that most people would otherwise shun or deny.¡± She said ¡°I understand and am glad that you are accepting of this. I used part of my life essence to escape to here.¡± I sat there wondering, what the fuck I have gotten myself into. Ari I asked her ¡°Why did you use your life essence? I am not sure what that is but it sounds like something that should not be used¡± She said, ¡°Yes, using it has severely weakened my already damaged body and as a result, I am at death¡¯s door.¡± Then with a deep scowl but eyes still pressed tightly closed she said ¡°The ability to use life essence is a unique ability that I alone possess and I was abused and experimented on with the objective to try and duplicate my ability. This ¡± She stopped for a second and made some sputtering sounds and started to cough which made me cringe a little. She finished coughing then continued ¡°I need your help to take care of my friends in the previous compartment.¡± I said, ¡°Sorry to bust your bubble but I work in a bookstore, don¡¯t have any decent sort of education and don¡¯t have any remarkable skills or any idea as to what kind of help I can be.¡± She said ¡°It was not by chance that the place I traveled to was close to you. It is not a coincidence that has brought me to you; it is what my people call Universal Guidance?¡± I said ¡°Universal Guidance eh? Well, that is all good and dandy but why me?¡± She gurgled and sputtered, and for a second she wasn¡¯t moving. I look on with trepidation knowing that there is nothing that I can do. Then, with a relief, she started moving again. She then replied ¡°That is not something I can answer but I trust it happened for a good reason. Are you willing to help me?¡± I pondered the question for a second thinking through a couple of scenarios in my head and when I made up my mind on the best course of action I said ¡°Sure, I can try to help as much as I can. I don¡¯t know the whole story but from the looks of it was not a happy ending. What should I do and how can I help your friends?¡± She said ¡°Thank you for choosing to help. I do not know what you can do or how you can do it but anything will be appreciated. To give you some help for helping me, I will transfer my remaining essence into an object to assist you. The only thing you have that I can transfer my essence into is that device on your wrist.¡± I looked down at my watch and shrugged. ¡°Sure, why not?¡± She said, ¡°Can you place the object near me?¡± I took off the watch, bent down and placed it next to her. She then stretched out her thin metallic blue arm and touched the watch. With a slight hum, energy started to travel from her to the watch. While this exchange is happening, both her and the watch slowly get brighter and brighter with each passing second. During this process, I thought ¡°I hope the watch will still be able to control the robot afterward¡± Right before the process was complete I heard her say in a very soft, sad and pleading voice ¡°Thank you! Please take care of my friends¡± Then there was an even brighter flash of light on the watch and I attempted to shield my eyes from it to no success.Support the author by searching for the original publication of this novel. Once again I am blinded and it takes a little while for my vision to return to normal. With a little anger and resignation, I thought ¡°Fuck. What is it with this night and bright lights? I swear I will permanently lose my sight at some point¡± I blinked a couple of times to try and clear away the brightness burned into my retina. Once I can see clearly I looked down at where she was but now it seems she has completely vanished. There is no trace of her at all, except the pool of drying blood. I may not have known her very long but no matter who she was, a loss of life is something that is neither a pleasant nor wanted experience. I never even got her name and now she is nothing but an old memory. I closed my eyes and bowed my head to give her a moment of silence at her departure. I walked over to the place where my watch was and was quite surprised to see that the watch I was looking at was not the same one I put down next to the metallic female. This watch (If I can still call it a watch) has a much bigger rectangular face that has a dark metallic blue color as opposed to the black matte original color. There was a total of five buttons before but now there are no longer any on it at all. ¡°I wonder if I can still use it to control the robot now,¡± I said to no one in particular. I picked it up and noticed it was super light. The top is flat but the bottom of the watch is slightly curved and smooth. I was unsure as to how to put it on because the band was gone. So I just cautiously put it on my left arm and without notice, there was a barely audible snap and a band shot out from both sides, met on the underside of my wrist and snapped together, like it was alive. At first, I was a little startled by a device performing this kind of action but I soon calmed down when nothing else happened. I touched the band to see what it felt like. It had a smooth and comfortable feel to it. It felt like a mix between metal and leather. I then tried to pull it off but it did not budge at all. I rotated my arm in a couple of directions and waved my arms about to see if it would detach itself but it was firmly in place and looked as if it would take a lot more effort to get it off. Since it doesn¡¯t hurt and is actually surprisingly comfortable I decided not to make a fuss about it and soon started to actually get excited to see what it was capable of. If there is one thing I really like to do it is discover new things and figure out how they work. I never saw anything like this before. While I was in the process of examining it, it turned on by itself and immediately started showing the same weird symbols as the consoles. The symbols were scrolling down on the display. I tried to make out what the symbols were but I didn¡¯t have any knowledge of them so I just looked on for a little while to see if there might be something I can recognize. A couple of seconds go by and the symbols were still scrolling but other than that nothing else happened so I commenced looking around the space to see if there were anything of note. When nothing was found I exited the space and headed back to the previous compartment. As soon as I entered the space the symbols on the watch began to swirl in a different more circular pattern. I stared at my watch as this continued for about 5 minutes then the swirling stopped the symbols vanished and the watch showed a blank display. Soon after, I heard a voice emanating from the watch that said ¡°Analysis complete. Please input unit designation.¡± I was in awe to see that my watch could actually speak. It sounded just like the woman only even more robotic. I hastily attempted to talk back to it by asking ¡°Unit designation? Are you talking about my name?¡± It said ¡°Negative¡.Please input unit designation¡± So if it is not my name then it must be referring to itself. I don¡¯t know if it wants the woman name which I don¡¯t know. I guess I will make something up that seems appropriate. I wonder. How am I supposed to input the designation without a keyboard? Maybe I should name you after the woman that made you, though I don¡¯t know her name. I thought on it a little more. Then I shrugged and said ¡°Ari¡± I waited for a little bit but nothing happened. Then I said ¡°Unit designation is Ari¡± A couple of seconds pass and then it responded ¡°Unit designation Ari accepted.¡Processing¡.Complete.¡± I thought how weird that it seems like a computer but not at the same time. I asked, ¡°What are you?¡± Ari said ¡°Unknown. I do not have a firm understanding as to what I am but in order to acquire knowledge for my database I synched up with the Nanobots in your head and learned everything you know. I am unaware as to what kind programming I am comprised of.¡± Oh great! This just keeps gets better and better. Liandra She continued to give me a ferocious glare when she finally decided to speak. With a snarl she said ¡°Who are you and why are you here?¡± I am quite surprised at how clear her speech is compared to what she looks like. I replied ¡°My name is Argate and I do not know why I am here. I happened to notice the smell of barbecue and wandered to this area. I mean you no harm.¡± Her expression softened for a little bit then she retracted the bone dagger from the dirt and sheathed it and the other in the middle of her back. Then, with a feline like grace, she jumped back, landed in a crouch and stood to her full height, which happens to be about the same as me. I now saw the full extent of her slender body with tight muscles and an excellent curvature. She wore a worn and torn revealing leather tunic that has seen better days and she had on a pair of leather sandals that completely exposed her feet. I also noticed that she has some kind of device around her neck attached with a silver linked chain that looked a little similar to my watch but was smaller and cruder if the worn edges and faded color was a true indicator. She came a little closer and stretched out her hand to help me up. I took it and I was up in a flash not believing how strong she was. She said ¡°My name is Liandra. You approached my campfire and I thought you were going to try and steal my food and I could not have that. You are lucky I decided to evaluate you first before you became one with the dirt.¡± I replied ¡°I understand. Sorry for intruding on you. I had no idea that you were the one responsible for the campfire. Whatever you were roasting smelled really good and I am quite hungry.¡± She stomped her foot with authority startling me for a second and asked ¡°I have never seen anyone look like you before. What are you and where did you come from?¡± I replied ¡°I am a human from¡..from earth I guess. Is this earth?¡± I feel really awkward asking is this earth because why wouldn¡¯t it be. She furrowed her brows and tilted her head in puzzlement and said ¡°What is a human and what is earth? I have never heard of either of them. This forest is on the outskirts of a village named Telpe which is part of a bigger area between the Nation of Escalight and the Nation of Sangard. There are quite a few other villages in this area as well.¡± Now it is my turn to express a look of puzzlement. I said ¡°I do not know those names either. Well, this is awkward. How about I show you how I got here?¡± She squinted and had a wary look and said ¡°I don¡¯t know you and will not follow you because I do not care.¡± She started to walk away when I quickly closed the distance and grab her hand and without notice or warning I was flipped over and lying on my back once again. It happened so fast that I was left wondering how it came to be. She stood over me with an intense look of anger on her face and said with a snarl ¡°Never touch me without prior notice or next time you will lose your hand¡±The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there. I shrunk back or whatever was the equivalent for someone on the ground and replied ¡°Yeah, sorry about that. It¡¯s just that I don¡¯t know anyone else besides you and Ari and I need some help.¡± She thought about it for a quick second and replied ¡°Okay, I will help you for a little while then I will take my leave. Also, who is Ari?¡± After I got up off the ground I raised my arm and pointed at my wrist and said ¡°Ari is this thing.¡± She raised both golden eyebrows and looked at the device on my arm as if it was the first time she was seeing it and said ¡°Wow! That is a very unique POD, I have never seen that one before. Where did you get it from? Also, why do you call it Ari? It is really weird to name your POD.¡± I took another long look at the device, I mean POD, on my arm to see how to explain Ari. But then again, I really need to ask a question first ¡°What is a POD?¡± She replied with ¡°I don¡¯t know everything there is to know about PODs but what I can tell you is that POD stands for Portable Omni-Use Device and has a multitude of uses based on your class and profession. Mine for instance allows me to summon and communicate with my Quasaur Vivi¡± I said ¡°Hmmmm¡..what is a Quasaur?¡± She said ¡°Let me show you. COME VIVI!!!¡± I looked on with great interest as a monster materialized right before my eyes. This ¡°Vivi¡± looked like some kind of jacked female monkey with light brown armor for skin and has the same a color fur as Liandra¡¯s hair. It was a little shorter than Zyrogue. She said ¡°This is Vivi. I summoned her with this POD. She is what¡¯s called a Vooke. Normally, they are not easy to capture and befriend but me and Vivi formed a bond when we both were in a bad situation, long story. She has been a great friend and companion to me ever since.¡± Just then Vivi started screeching and heading towards me with its sharp claws ready to tear me to shreds. It was quick and right before it was able to sink its claws into my tender flesh Liandra said ¡°VIVI STOP!¡± She said it with so much force that I was startled. The Vooke immediately stopped in place and Liandra said ¡°RETURN¡± and just like that Vivi disappeared. With wide eyes filled with excitement I said ¡°That was so cool!! How did you do that?¡± Liandra had a smug look and said ¡°There is nothing to it. Anyone who is a tamer at least knows that much. I¡¯m sure you should be able to accomplish the same thing with your POD. Speaking of the which, you still have not answered my question. Where did you get that from?¡± The excitement fading from my eyes I told her the story of how I got here and how my POD was created. She listened as I talked not asking any questions just letting me finish my story. Once I was finished she said ¡°That is a rather, interesting and hard to believe story. That is a Can you show me this box?¡± I said ¡°Sure¡±. Then we headed back to where the box was. 20 minutes later and we are both standing in front of the entrance. Liandra is tilting her head side to side trying to figure out what the box is. She said ¡°You seem to be full of mysteries. This box is very strange. I could not even begin to understand what this is but it does kind of look familiar. I also cannot say as to who may have constructed it. But, if I had to guess, I would say someone from the Escalight might have built it. But then again, the technology of Tharvis is said to rival that of Escalight. In either case this is beyond me¡± I asked ¡°Escalight? Tharvis? I remember you mentioned something about Sangard as well. Are all of these places major cities here? She replied ¡°No. They are each individual Nations.¡± I asked ¡°So, is there anything more you can tell me about these PODs?¡± She said ¡°Like I said before, I am not an expert on PODs. You can interact with the user interface to arrange the icons how you see fit. You can also set up voice activation of certain functions as I had with Vivi. Aside from that and what I told you before, that is all I know.¡± I said ¡°Okay, thanks Liandra. I am still trying to get the hang of how everything works here. Ari is of no use because its databank is pretty much empty.¡± Liandra said ¡°So, this Ari can speak you said? That is quite unique. I have never heard of a POD talking. And that ability to transfer essence, I would not tell many people about that. It seems like a remarkable ability and could get you hunted for it. Do you have any Quasaur for protection?¡± I replied ¡°I only have one¡± I then showed Liandra my POD. She raised one eyebrow and said ¡°It appears that you have two and not one. Though, it is strange how you already have one summoned.¡± I asked ¡°Why is that strange?¡± She said ¡°Normally, outside of towns, cities and other designated areas, tamed Quasaur have a very limited amount of time that they can be summoned. This excludes wild Quasaur though.¡± I thought on that for a second and said ¡°I am guessing the one that is summoned is Zyrogue. It is only a robot, or so I thought. It would seem it has become a Quasaur now.¡± Liandra pushed away a lock of golden hair from her left eye and said ¡°Oh! Can I see this Zyrogue?¡± It may have just been my wild imagination but it looked like Zyrogue wasn¡¯t all that she was interested in. I said ¡°Sure, it is inside this box here¡±
