The man feels like he shouldn''t have asked until he hears God laughing even harder than before. "I am surprised you could understand that this isn''t heaven as most people I meet always think they are in heaven and will always be allowed to talk to me whenever they please" The man sighs in relief that he hadn''t offended God before smiling a bit. "A DRAGON AND A WORLD WHERE THE RACES OTHER THAN HUMANS ARE BEING OPPRESSED!" God looks a little shocked at first but then he understands what the man wants to do, He waves his hand once again as a bright light envelopes the man before disappearing. "I am going to give you a minute to adjust then I am sending you to the world of your choice" The man looks at his body before smiling but it looks more like a snarl than a smile because he is now a dragon. "Goodbye Marcus Bloodhaven" God then disappears from the room and everything goes dark. Chapter 2 Marcus awoke in complete darkness but he didn¡¯t panic. He has much higher control of his emotions now than he ever did in his previous life, After calming down he looked around to find out where he was. ¡°It looks like God teleported me into a cave system¡± He sighed a little about the fact that he was a dragon with black scales in a dark cave so if anyone ever came in they wouldn¡¯t even know he was there unless they walked into him and by then they would most likely be too scared to even converse with. ¡°I guess i should get out of here and check outside. I don¡¯t even know how long i was asleep in this cave system, It could be years or it could have been a few minutes.¡± As he was talking to himself he stood up and as he did the whole cave began shaking from his massive size. ¡®I guess i should use my shapeshifting ability and turn into a human so i don¡¯t bring this whole cave down onto myself.¡¯ He shapeshifted into a human and then went towards the light he could see in the distance. When he reached the end of the tunnel he could see that he was on the side of a mountain and that there was a massive human settlement below it, He guessed it was the capital of a kingdom after seeing the castle that was closest to the mountain as if it wanted to be protected from behind if it was ever attacked. ¡®God must have put me in this cave specifically because there are humans nearby and he knew i would want to learn about this world before i do anything¡¯ He used magic to make himself invisible before shapeshifting into a half dragonic/half human form and flew to the capital below him, After landing in an alleyway he changed back into a human and undid the cloaking magic before heading out. As he walked out of the alleyway he could see hundreds of people walking around and surprisingly there were more beastman,elves and dwarves than humans, He guessed that it was because they were all slaves and the humans were making them go out and do the work they were supposed to do or to pick things up from various places. The young girl turned to look and was stunned by the man before her. He had silky black hair,black eyes that seemed to suck you into an endless abyss and pale white skin that would make you think he is sick but for some reason you can just tell that he isn¡¯t and that he is truly brimming with power. ¡°Um, oh yes sure i can tell you. The library is just around the corner from here actually¡± She told him while blushing. He smiled at her and thanked her before going in the direction she told him, As soon as he rounded the corner he saw a marvelous building that was the size of at least ten of the other buildings surrounding it. He went in and found an old man sitting at the desk by the door. ¡°Sir i was wondering if i could work here and instead of having to pay me i would rather be allowed to live and here and read any book i want free of charge¡± He asked the old man as soon as he got close. The old man was shocked to hear someone talking to him because almost no one comes to the library anymore and he was even more shocked that someone wanted to work there. The old man looked up to see a young man standing before him and was about to decline but something was nagging at the back of his mind telling him to accept, Whenever he had a nagging feeling like this he would always follow it and it never steered him wrong so he accepted. ¡°Sure boy but make sure you are careful with the books and also since you will be living here than clean the place every two days, You can start tomorrow since i am already here today¡± Marcus nodded with a smile and thanked the old man before going into the library to look for books on the history of this country which he had figured out by hearing people talking while he was walking, It is called Alamo¡¯s Kingdom. When he got to the bookshelves he was shocked to see how many books were the library and that was just what he could see from where he was standing. After overcoming his shock he went back to looking for history books before finding a few so he took them and found a table to start reading. Chapter 3 Marcus got up from the bed he was laying on as he stretched. ¡°It has been three months since i have come here and started reading the books¡± He snaps his fingers and a light shines on him before disappearing, Now he is in new clothes and looks spotless. The magic he used is called Clean and Dress Up but he fused them into one so he wouldn¡¯t have to cast them one at a time. During these three months he has read all but a few books and found out much about the world but at the same time he took all the information God implanted into his mind about magic and came up with thousands of magic¡¯s, Some are useless while most would make Scholar Mages roll in their graves from the years of research they did for it to not bear any fruit and then a man comes along and creates thousands of new magic¡¯s in a few months. ¡®I guess i should finish up those last few books and then head to my next destination¡¯ Marcus walked out of the room he was in and went to the front door to open the library and then went to the shelves to grab the last few books he hadn¡¯t read before going to the desk in the front and he began reading them. He finish the books in only a few hours and most of what was in them were things he had already known from the other books he had read, He stood up before looking around and then just disappeared to not be seen in this kingdom for a few years and the next time it wouldn¡¯t be as a human. He appeared in the middle of a forest and it was deathly silent. ¡®I love teleportation¡¯ He laughed a little as he thought that before looking around. ¡®I teleported to the forbidden continent but i don¡¯t see what people are scared of except the fact that it¡¯s kind of spooky¡¯ The continent he is talking about is a massive place that houses the most dangerous animals on the planet and even regular dragons are terrified of this place but of course he is no regular dragon. ¡®This entire continent will be the birthplace of my kingdom and i will not allow for there to be beings that could threaten the people i will be bringing here¡¯ He resolved himself to commit mass genocide on this continent just so he could build a kingdom here and he doesn¡¯t have to worry about anyone finding out what he is doing since no one will ever come here. ¡®This is as good a time as any i suppose¡¯ He shapeshifted into his original form of a dragon with black scales and started flying around the continent to find out where the different species live and congregate so he doesn¡¯t end up destroying the entire continent just to get rid of a few measly species, At least they are in his eyes but to the rest of the world each one could kill billions of any race before being stopped and there are thousands upon thousands of those kind of powerful beings on this one continent.Support the creativity of authors by visiting the original site for this novel and more. As he flew around he spotted many species that just looked like regular animals but he could feel the power and aura roiling off of them. ¡®I think i shall name this continent Xewin after i am done getting rid of these animals and fixing the place to my liking¡¯ He thought to himself as he finished circling Xewin and started his hunt. He could have just used magic to find them all but he felt it would be too boring and he wanted to see the entire continent with his own eyes. He first started at the northeastern part of Xiwen and just used targeting magic and killed anything that came into his senses, He even killed all the regular animals as well just to make sure that nothing that was able to grow into something like what exists now gets the chance to. Marcus systematically killed every living thing on Xiwen in just a week and that¡¯s slow even for him, It took him that long because at first he was just taking his time to kill them but 6 days he got tired of it and so he used a massive magic to target the rest of the living creatures and killed them all. After he was done he went to the center of Xiwen and then used wood and earth magic to clear about 2000 miles of land before deciding to just redo the entire continent so he used even more magic and got rid of all the rivers,trees,mountains,hills and anything else and just made the entire continent flat so he would be able to build Xiwen exactly like he wanted to. Marcus looked at his handiwork before landing on the ground in satisfaction. ¡®Now i need to plan the entire thing out before i start building or i am going to just keep destroying and rebuilding for years and never finish. He laid down and started thinking really hard about how he wanted everything to look down to the last tree. ¡®This place will be a utopia for the races other than humans but i have plans for them as well, It will just be many many years from now before i do anything with the humans¡¯ -Somewhere else at this moment- ¡°That dragon just leveled the entire forbidden continent¡± A woman¡¯s voice that sounded like heavenly bells could be heard in a room that housed a mirror like plate that showed the actions of Marcus on the planet. ¡°He is to dangerous, We need to get rid of him now¡± A displeased male¡¯s voice could be heard after the woman ¡°I think we should wait and see what he plans to do now that he has leveled the continent. The humans have enslaved the other races and i for one am not happy about that so i say let him do what he wants and hopefully he takes the humans down a peg or two¡± Another woman¡¯s voice could be heard talking and she sounded pleased about the new dragon that they had found on the planet a few months ago. ¡°He has done nothing wrong for now so we shall leave him alone but if he should ever put the planet itself in danger than we will have to act, Am i clear ?¡± An authoritative female¡¯s voice could be heard echoing in the room and then silence before she heard agreements coming from the others. ¡°Good, Now get back to work¡± After she said that she disappeared from the room as well as the owners of the other voices. Chapter 4 Marcus took a month to finalize his ideas and then started getting to work on shaping Xiwen. ¡®I will make the kingdom¡¯s capital in the middle of Xiwen and then make cities,towns and villages spanning the rest of the continent. I will then begin filling the place back up with rivers,streams and lakes while also making roads out of stone to reach each place to make it easy one everyone to get to where they want to go, After all that is done i will then go the other continents and take different species of animals and repopulate Xiwen with them so my people will have meat¡¯ He stood up and looked around before levitating off the ground so i he could see from above while he works. Marcus first began by making a massive castle out of earth and then changed the earth¡¯s properties to be made out of a variety of minerals including obsidian,crystal,adamantite,mithril and many others but even with all of those different variety of minerals it didn¡¯t look out of place or gaudy. He then started making the different sections of the city by making massive lines so he doesn¡¯t go too far in one direction with the buildings he plans to make. The sections of the city will be Central/Castle then to the northeastern will be the housing district, Northwestern the commerce district, Southeastern will be the schooling district and finally the southwestern will house the guild district. Each district will have a purpose which some are self explanatory but the schooling district will house school¡¯s for children and it will teach the basic knowledge like math,science,etc but when you turn 12 you also can choose a career path that you would like to follow whether that be alchemy,Blacksmithing,Farming,Magic,Etc then you will be moved to a building that can teach you the from the basics to advanced knowledge on those things and then when you graduate you will then go to the southwestern district to join the guild of your choice which there will be one for every profession so no one will have to worry about being left out or discriminated against by the kingdom. After getting the lines made he started working on the buildings and he decided to do the same thing to the houses so people will not make them bigger and encroach on others land and things like that but he did make each house and building an adequate size before moving onto the next one. He then moved onto the guild district and built each building in different styles to match the things they will be used for like a mage tower that is extremely tall and then a farmer guild that has rich fertile land around it that can have things planted in it, He did these things for each of the guild buildings so it won¡¯t be hard to tell their profession even without seeing the name on the building. After he was finished making all of the buildings he started on the walls that would encircle the kingdom to make sure no unwanted animals could get in. He looked down at his newly built capital city and was very satisfied before turning around and heading to the south to start building all the cities,towns and villages that he had planned.This story has been stolen from Royal Road. He then started to work on building canals to the 20,423 places he had set up and then used a massive amount of magic that any being on that planet should not be able to possess to make Xiwen¡¯s land fertile and then made forests appear out of nowhere with his earth and wood magic, He then made the rivers,lakes,etc and then made a few mountains and caves before finally making stone roads that led to every place he had built to house the races. Marcus teleported to the different continents and started using magic to round up thousands upon thousands of animals and brought them to Xiwen before letting them loose in different areas so they could populate the continent. When he had finished doing all of that he then went to the castle he had built and used magic on himself to make him sleep for the next 50 years so the animals could grow into the environment and be enough to feed the races he planned on bringing over in the near future. -Somewhere else after Marcus fell asleep- ¡°It seems he is finally done doing whatever it was he plans on doing with that continent¡± A woman¡¯s voice that sounds like heavenly bells speaks. ¡°It is about damn time he is finished and why didn¡¯t you tell us sooner Tia ?¡± A Gruff man¡¯s voice sounded out ¡°I got all of you as soon as he went to sleep so why don¡¯t you be quiet Bram ?¡± Tia wasn¡¯t happy about being talked down to by Bram. ¡°One of these days i am going to destroy you on that i swear¡± Bram said that as a whisper before looking at the mirror and seeing what had changed before shock showed on his face. ¡°What the hell has he done to the continent ?¡± ¡°It seems he has built a kingdom across the entire continent and plans to rule over one or maybe all the races¡± An authoritative female voice said. ¡°¡°Adaline¡±¡± Tia and Bram said the woman¡¯s name at the same time which annoyed them both but they kept quiet so as to not anger the woman. ¡°What will we do about it ?¡± Tia asked as she looked at Adaline. ¡°We will do nothing unless it means the planet is about to be destroyed¡± Adaline said in a forceful voice to make sure they understood to not meddle with the mortal world. ¡°But what about him trying to dominate the other races which is what appears to be what he is going to try and do ?¡± Bram asked in a cold voice. ¡°We didn¡¯t do anything when the humans enslaved the other races even though we wanted to and we all know the reason you are so worried is because you support the human race since it is the race you created and you are worried that he will either wipe them out or enslave them himself¡± Tia said as she smirked at Bram ¡°Shut up you skank before i fillet you over an open fire¡± Bram was seething with rage but he knew that he could only threaten and not actually do anything with Adaline around. ¡°ENOUGH!¡± Adaline yelled at them both which scared them to no end. ¡°We will do as we have always done and just watch unless the planet is in danger ok ?¡± ¡°¡°Yes ma¡¯am¡±¡± Tia and Bram once again spoke in sync but they didn¡¯t care anymore as they were too afraid of Adaline. Chapter 5 -Side story While Marcus had just fallen asleep, Back at the kingdom where he first woke up an old man was sitting at the desk of the library and musing to himself about what happened to the man who had disappeared a few months ago. ¡®I wonder who that boy was and why i felt so compelled to let him stay here¡¯ He sighs as he thinks to himself. ¡®He just up and disappeared one day and i still have no idea where he went¡¯ The old man just sits at the desk reading books to pass the time until he starts hearing people yelling outside so he goes to check out what is happening. When he gets outside he can see so called prophets of the god Bram yelling out that something bad is going to happen in the future and that everyone needs to be ready to fight back against whatever it is that is going to happen. Of course very few take them seriously because no one believes that Bram would ever contact mere mortals for anything so they all just go back to their routine. The old man after hearing what they are saying thinks about the boy before shaking his head and going back inside the library ¡®no way could that boy bring that much of a change¡¯ The years pass by and the man continues to get older while the prophets continue to warn people about what is to come with no one listening to them anymore because nothing has happened in the past several years so even the ones who used to listen to them have stopped paying them any attention. After 20 years the old man is laying on a bed and breathing shallowly. ¡®I guess my time has come, I have lived a good life doing what i loved and now i will finally get to see my beloved again¡¯ He smiles as he stops breathing. Now our capital can go back to being in peace and tranquility¡± The people cheer hearing the words of their king because of how fed up they were of the prophets. The king calls for his most trusted men to have a meeting. ¡°Have you found the rest of those groups of inferior species ?¡± The king straight away asks the question he most wants answers to. ¡°No sire we have not been able to locate them yet, They have hidden themselves quite well and whenever we believe we have found them all we find are empty villages¡± An imposing man tells the king the answer he knows his king doesn¡¯t want to hear. ¡°YOU IMBECILES!¡± The king slams his hand on the table in front of him, Scaring everyone in the room because the king¡¯s temper is well known in the inner circle of the kingdom and anyone who gets on his bad side gets charges of treason placed on them and then executed before they can even say anything else. ¡°It shouldn¡¯t be this damn hard to catch some goddamn mongrels that have no home¡± The king stares at his men as he says that giving them cold chills down their spines. ¡°We are working as hard as we can but i don¡¯t think we will be able to find them with how well they are hiding for at least the next 30 to 40 years or until they run out of hiding spots¡± The imposing man tells the king. ¡°I want them found at any cost. We can¡¯t have any rebel forces out there against us when it is already hard enough holding back the other kingdoms from attacking us¡± The king coldly says that while thinking about the other kingdoms. ¡°Now get out there and get me some damn results, Understood ?¡± ¡°¡°¡°¡°¡°¡°¡°¡°¡°¡°¡°¡°¡°YES SIR!¡±¡±¡±¡±¡±¡±¡±¡±¡±¡±¡±¡±¡± The men and women all yell out before shuffling out of the room. The king leans back in his chair and thinks about the future when they will no longer have to worry about retribution from the other races and can then focus on taking over the other kingdoms. ¡®That will be a good day¡¯ He smiles as he says that. Chapter 6 -50 YEARS AFTER MARCUS WENT TO SLEEP- Marcus wakes up exactly fifty years after he went to sleep and immediately casts magic to clean himself and all the buildings on Xiwen. ¡®I guess it is finally time to put my plan into action but first i need to check and make sure the animals have populated the continent enough to sustain the inhabitants¡¯ He casts a surveying magic and is shocked at how many animals there are on Xiwen now. ¡®I guess it is different in this world but that is okay with me because that means that i will never have to worry about the animals becoming endangered¡¯ He laughs at that thought before going outside and looking at the sun for the first time in fifty years. After bathing in the sun for a few hours he decides to get started and teleports to the continent he woke up on but he made sure to teleport into a forest where there are no humans nearby. He then casts the surveying magic again to find out if there are any remnants of the races that haven¡¯t been enslaved yet and is surprised to find that there are a few villages scattered around and hidden that the races are hiding in. ¡®At least they are not stupid and knew how to hide themselves so it won¡¯t be to hard to get the school¡¯s up and running but i am still going to have to impart my own knowledge to them so they can teach the children better¡¯ He teleports to the first village he spotted before shapeshifting into an elf since that is the race that is living in this village and he doesn¡¯t want them to cower in fear from him being in his dragon form constantly. -POV OF THE PEOPLE FROM THE VILLAGE- Everyone was just doing their regular jobs in the village when an overbearing pressure enveloped everyone then just as soon as it did it went away. When they looked outside the village they could see an elf man standing there before he started walking towards them. The people of the village have never seen this man and so they were wary of him especially after that pressure they felt just a few seconds ago, They didn¡¯t believe a man of their race could give out that kind of pressure but they wanted to be safe just in case so they were polite with him until the village chief came to talk to the man. The man just smiled at them before speaking some very shocking words that no one believed at first. ¡°My name is marcus and i am a black dragon, I have come here to offer you all a permanent home in the kingdom i have built on the forbidden continent¡± The village chief was shocked at first but then smiled wryly thinking the man was crazy. ¡°Sir we may very well be on the run and not have all of the knowledge of our ancestors anymore but we know better than to believe a kingdom could be on the forbidden continent and that a dragon can change into a human¡± Everyone chuckled what the village chief said. The man just laughed a little. ¡°I can understand your disbelief and so i will show you my true form before changing back to this one so we can continue to talk¡± The man really did change into a black dragon before changing back which terrified everyone as they started sweating and shaking. The village chief bowed very quickly and apologized. ¡°Please sir dragon i am sorry i didn¡¯t believe you so don¡¯t destroy this village and kill everyone¡± Everyone else followed the village chief elder in bowing and begging for their lives. The man seemed upset at this which scared everyone thinking they may have offended him but then he smiled before talking to them in a calm and soothing voice. ¡°I do not want to harm anyone from this village, I only want to give you the choice of having a permanent home in my kingdom¡± The village chief straightened up and sighed in relief when he heard the man and when he thought about the man¡¯s offer a thought came to him that he voiced out. ¡°But sir the forbidden continent is the home of the strongest monsters on this planet so how can we live there safely even with you around ?¡± The man laughed a little. ¡°You can just call me Marcus instead of sir and to answer your question i have killed every single thing that lived on that continent and then remade it the way i wanted before setting safe animals as well as predators free on the continent but don¡¯t worry they are not anyway near as strong as the animals that used to live there¡± The village chief was shocked but still answered. ¡°Can we have time to think about this ?¡± Marcus replied back to them in the positive. ¡°Yes you can. I plan to go to the other races that have hidden themselves away and give them the same offer before i then will go and order the kingdoms to give up all of their slaves or i will destroy their kingdom¡± He started off in a warm and soothing voice before he ended in a cold voice that terrified everyone once again. The village chief was shaking after hearing him before his face brightened up. ¡°You plan to save our brethren as well as the other races that are enslaved ?¡± Marcus nods at them. ¡°I plan to do exactly that, I will give you time to make a choice as i still have to talk to the other villages but i would like an answer in a week¡± Then Marcus disappears presumably heading to the next village. The village chief looks back at his people after getting over the shock of everything that has happened. ¡°We will have a meeting to discuss today¡¯s events and decide what to do¡± Everyone in the village agrees and walks off to gather anyone that may have missed what just happened. Chapter 7 -2 WEEKS LATER- Marcus took his time going to each village so they would have time to decide on their own if they wanted to go or not but from what he could tell almost all of them had decided immediately after he was done talking. The beastman were the hardest to convince because they only follow those who are stronger than themselves and even though they could feel his strength they still wanted to fight him to make him prove to them that he was worthy of leading them. ¡®They should be done deciding by now¡¯ He got up from where he was sitting which was under a tree that he had sat against a few days ago after he had finished talking to the last village. He flew off to the first village that he had gone to and went to the entrance in his elf form only to see everyone waiting for him there. ¡°Have you all made your choice ?¡± He didn¡¯t like beating around the bush so he just asked them directly. They all looked at each other before nodding to him, The village chief stood in front and spoke to Marcus. ¡°Yes we have decided to go with you to the forbidden continent and join your kingdom¡± Marcus smiled at this response and told them to not be scared as he was going to teleport them all along with himself to the other villages and round up anyone who wants to go to his new kingdom. They all disappeared in the blink of an eye only to appear in front of another village. Marcus did the same as last time and walked to the entrance of the village and saw once again everyone of the village waiting for him. Before he could even speak the village chief of that village spoke. ¡°We have decided to go with you and join your kingdom¡± Marcus stopped and stared at them before nodding his head and then bringing both groups together before teleporting to the next village and repeating what he had already done to the rest of the villages. Everyone from each village was tired of living on the run and decided to take their chances with dragon who claims to have a kingdom on the forbidden continent. Marcus rounded everyone up before talking to them about some of the things about the continent. ¡°First i have named the continent Xiwen so when you speak of it just say that instead of forbidden continent, Second you all know how it feels to be discriminated against and to be hunted down so i want you all to take care of each other and not treat each other like dirt even if in the past your races were not exactly friendly with each other, Third is when we get there i will show you an image of everything on Xiwen with magic so you can choose where you would like to live. Everyone listened with rapt attention to make sure they didn¡¯t miss anything Marcus was saying. Marcus explained some rules no killing each other or he will kill them, There is no currency as of right now but everything will be provided for them by him until he can get an economy going which will take a while and as soon as he rescues everyone that is enslaved he won¡¯t be able to take care of everyone anymore so he will need their help to get everyone situated and taken care of. Everyone nods that they understand and as soon as they do they once again disappear into thin air before reappearing in front of a grand castle. Marcus looks at everyone before speaking up loudly so they can all hear. ¡°This is the capital of my kingdom and here is the rest of Xiwen for you to choose where you would like to live¡± He used magic to scan Xiwen while also casting a magic to project what is being scanned. Everyone is shocked by how massive Xiwen is and how great the layout is, It looked to them like every single detail down to the last rock was planned for ease of movement,views and accessibility to the other continents in the future on top of making it easy for each place to produce crops and hunt. Marcus claps his hands to get their attention before pointing at the picture. ¡°Go ahead and choose where you would like to live or if you can¡¯t decide you can just stay here in the capital and choose at a later time¡± After everyone was reminded they began looking at the picture before the elves immediately chose a massive forest which didn¡¯t surprise anyone and so Marcus sent them off. The Beastman chose a village close to another forest but also near a river and so Marcus also sent them off. Before the dwarves could say anything Marcus spoke up. ¡°Let me guess you want to be near the mountain ?¡± He smiled at them as if he was all knowing. They looked at him surprised before chuckling a little because of how easy dwarves are to guess just like elves. They nod and agree that they would like to and also chose a mountain that is a little isolated which was done on purpose by Marcus because he knew dwarves liked to be alone and work on their craft, He sent them away before breathing a sigh in relief at how easy he was able to finish this when he was expecting it to be a little harder to convince them to come with him to Xiwen. ¡°I suppose it is time to coerce those kingdoms to let their slaves go¡± He smiled viciously while hoping that they would ignore him so he could destroy a few kingdoms to show them what will happen if they continue to ignore him. He teleported once again to the kingdom he started in but instead of being in the capital he was right outside the front gates. Chapter 8 As soon as he appeared the guards who were at the front gate were alarmed and raised their spears about to capture and question him on where he had come from before they fell to their knees from a strong pressure. ¡®I don¡¯t want any distractions while i am talking¡¯ Marcus thought while looking at the guards. Marcus used magic to amplify his voice before speaking. ¡°I am Marcus and i will give you one month to release all of your slaves or else i will begin destroying the kingdoms on this continent until you do¡± After he was finished talking he disappeared leaving the people in the kingdom in confusion and panic. Marcus went to each kingdom and gave them the same ultimatum before going back to Xiwen to wait the one month. -AUDIENCE ROOM OF THE FIRST KINGDOM- ¡°What the hell was that ?!¡± The king was flustered and yelling at the people in front of him. ¡°It seems that a man just suddenly appeared in front of the gates guards and before they could do anything to him they were stopped by a suffocating pressure. The man then yelled out what we just heard before disappearing again.¡± An imposing man told the king. ¡°What the hell does he mean by free our slaves or he will destroy our kingdom ?¡± The king was fuming mad now. Someone actually had the audacity to threaten his kingdom. ¡®Is our king really this stupid ?¡¯ The imposing man thought to himself but didn¡¯t dare to voice it out. ¡°I believe he wants to free all of the slaves and get their goodwill towards himself so he can be seen as their hero and they will worship him as a god¡± That was the only thing the imposing man could think of about why the man who showed up at the gates would do something like this for those inferior beings. ¡°I want this man hunted down and brought before me so i can behead him myself!¡± The king had thought about how he would lose the trust of his people if he didn¡¯t hurry and capture the man that threatened his entire kingdom so he began giving orders. ¡°By your will my king¡± The imposing man bowed a little before turning around and leaving to hand down the orders of the king. ¡®I must speak to the people and calm them before they begin looting and destroying the capital¡¯ The king thought to himself as he got up and walked towards the balcony.If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. -ONE MONTH LATER AND BACK TO MARCUS- ¡®The one month is up so i should go and check to see if any of the kingdom¡¯s have freed their slaves, which i doubt they have¡¯ Marcus flew from Xiwen to the other continent and scanned it with magic to find out that he was correct. All of the kingdoms have gotten themselves ready to fight and kill whoever it was that threatened them. Marcus was a little pleased at this because this means that he will be able to destroy a few kingdoms and teach these humans what it is like to be powerless just as they have done to the other races. Marcus started circling around a decent sized kingdom that he didn¡¯t care to remember the name of before teleporting ever race except humans out of it and onto the outskirts of the kingdom before shielding them. He spoke in a magic enhanced voice. ¡°You didn¡¯t listen to me and now you will pay the price¡± The people were terrified when they noticed that everyone of their slaves just disappeared and then they heard that voice again which made many faint and others to pee themselves. The army had just started getting ready when they noticed a bright glare coming from above them and when they looked up all they could see was a massive ball of light that was as big as the kingdom before it just falling towards them. The kingdom knew at that moment that everything was over and people just began to pray for their god to take them in after death. Marcus watched as the ball touched the ground and then just disappeared only to see a crater. If he had used that magic how it is intended which is to explode and not just disappear then the world may have ended so he made absolutely sure it wouldn¡¯t explode. Marcus then flew down to the confused people in outskirts that were terrified to see a dragon coming towards them. Marcus landed and then changed into his elf form instead of his human one to at least try and put them a little at ease. ¡°My name is Marcus and i created a new kingdom in the forbidden continent which i named Xiwen. I have already taken the hidden villages of your races to the kingdom and they are living peacefully and happily. I plan to take you all there and then i will gather the rest that are in this continent before i take them back to Xiwen. After all of that i will teach all of you everyday skills to be able to live a good life and i will also teach you skills so you can protect yourself ok ?¡± Everyone was staring at him and were shocked by his words. Some didn¡¯t believe him while others were hoping it wasn¡¯t a lie and that they could finally be free. Marcus teleported them to Xiwen before destroying a few more kingdoms and then he used magic to teleport all of the races except humans to Xiwen. He followed after and then teleported the ones he had brought previously to show the new ones that what he had told them hadn¡¯t been a lie. This now started the years and years of training and acclimating slaves to a life of freedom which was not easy but with the help of those who could accept everything quicker to help those who couldn¡¯t and then each of the races helped by teaching their skills to their own race which they never had a chance to learn as they were slaves their entire lives. Marcus knew this would take a few generations to finally get everything settled how he wanted it to be. Chapter 9 -REALM OF THE GODS- Bram was absolutely furious about what had happened to the humans which Tia was absolutely overjoyed over what had happened. ¡°He needs to be destroyed for what he has done!¡± Bram was in an argument with Tia while adaline watched the side. ¡°He has only helped the races to be free and taught those trash of a race called humans a lesson¡± Tia was smiling while watching the scenes of what Marcus did again and again. ¡°Don¡¯t you dare call the race i created trash! They are superior to those inferior races and have every right to rule over them!¡± Bram countered back in his arrogant tone. ¡°Those races are not inferior!¡± Tia was tired of hearing of how humans were the best race ever created by Bram. ¡°Both of you stop¡± Adaline finally chose to step in at this moment because she knew that they would not stop for millennia if she did not stop in. ¡°¡°Yes ma¡¯am¡±¡± Both Bram and Tia spoke at the same time. ¡°He has too much power to safely stay on the planet so we will go down and give him a choice¡± Adaline said after looking at the mirror and then back at them. ¡°What kind of choice ?¡± Tia was worried that the savior of the other races would be destroyed by Adaline and then the other races would just be recaptured. ¡°Yes what kind of choice ?¡± Bram was smiling evilly thinking that he will get to destroy that dragon that had harmed his beloved race. ¡°He will come and live with us in the realm of the gods as a new god or we will have to destroy him¡± Adaline said in a calm voice but in reality she was nervous because she could feel that Marcus¡¯s power was either on par with her or even a little stronger and knew that if a fight broke out that even though they could win the world would be destroyed in the process, But that dragon is to dangerous to stay in the world. ¡°¡°Ok¡±¡± Both Tia and Bram spoke and both were thinking of different things. Tia was hoping the dragon would come with them and Bram was hoping he wouldn¡¯t so he could destroy him. -Back in Xiwen- While Marcus was lying down and relaxing after a day of teaching the other races a blinding light blinded him before going away and he could see three people standing in front of him. There was a stunningly beautiful woman in the front and behind her stood a man and woman. We are here to ask you to come to the gods realm and live among us as a new god¡± The woman in the front spoke to him. ¡°I can already guess the alternative even if you hadn¡¯t said it but sure i will go with you but only after i am done teaching the races how to survive on their own¡± Marcus stared straight into the eyes of the woman who spoke to him. ¡°I suppose that is alright but you cannot meddle with any of the other continents any longer¡± The woman stared back into his eyes and he could see that she wasn¡¯t lying and that she had no malicious intentions towards him only the worry of the planet and its people. ¡°I agree with your conditions. After a few generations of teaching them i will go but i will also make a barrier to protect this continent from humans¡± Marcus wasn¡¯t asking them if it was ok to make a barrier and was only telling them that was what he was going to do which made the man glare at him even harder and he was about to say something before the woman who talked to him waved her hand and he backed down. ¡°That is fine. The other races have suffered too long under the hands of humans and deserve to be left alone among their own kind¡± The woman in front said. ¡°Then i will see you again when i am done i suppose¡± Marcus said and finished the conversation. ¡°I hope so¡± The woman said before another blinding light appeared and the three people disappeared into it. ¡®I will need to tell the races about the fact that i will not always be here to help them so they will try their hardest to learn¡¯ Marcus thought before going back to sleep and then waking up in the morning before starting his daily routine. -THREE HUNDRED YEARS LATER- Marcus had set up the barrier about a year after the gods left and then spent the remaining time training the races through the generations. They got better and better with each generation and now they are self sufficient with no one ever even coming to ask him for anything now which he enjoys. He knows that his time is up and that it is time to leave so without telling anyone he disappeared and reappeared in a white room. ¡°I have kept my end of the bargain and i have chosen to become the obvious dragon god but i will also be the other races god which i will share if there is already one¡± Marcus told the three gods who appeared in front of him. ¡°I am fine with that¡± Said the woman who was smiling at him the last he saw them but never spoke. ¡°Then it shall be like that¡± The woman who he spoke to last time was smiling slightly as she spoke. ¡°Then shall we watch how the world progresses over time ?¡± Marcus asked the two while ignoring the man who was once again glaring at him like he wanted to destroy him especially after he said he wanted to share the duty of being the god of the other races. ¡°¡°Yes¡± Both women smiled and said at the same time before the three left that man behind and went to the mirror to watch the world for as long as it lasts. THE END I SUCK This is my first real time trying to write a story andthought that i had fleshed this story out but i realised that i hadn''t even scratched the surface of trying to flesh it out and to make it worse the i made the charcter extremely op so he could finish anything he truly wanted to in an instant. It is hard to write a story around a character that is that strong without a truly fleshed out story and i now have way way way more respect for the writers than can do it. I plan to make another story in the future and this time i will hopefully be ready and can actually write a more than 9 chapter story which i am sorry about to everyone that reads my story.The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. New story prologue ¡°Ugh, Where am i ?¡± I sit up and look around only to see white walls all around me. ¡°Behind you¡± A female voice sounds out behind me. I quickly turn around scared of what could possibly be in this room with me. ¡°Who are you ?¡± I ask the woman who i see standing in front of me. I see her smile as she answers. ¡°I am a goddess and i have taken an interest in your soul¡± I am sit there confused by her words because if she really is a goddess than that means i have died, Then it hits me. I was hit by a truck while i was walking home. ¡°I can¡¯t believe those light novels i read are true. You get hit by a truck and then you meet a god or goddess¡± I laugh a little at the thought that what all those people wrote to be fiction is actually real. I see her staring at me confused at my words but then i see her look like she has just figured it out. ¡°I see now what you mean. I suppose this is like those light novels you humans have been writing in your world. But there are many people who die by trucks and many other ways but you are the very first to have ever met a real god or goddess, At least as far as i know¡± She whispered that last part but i still heard it. ¡°Did you just read my memories ?¡± That is the only way i can think of for her to figured out what i was talking about when she looked so confused at first¡± She looks at me apologetically and nods her head. ¡°I know even as a goddess that it is rude but i don¡¯t like the feeling of not understanding something¡± I sigh a little and shake my head. ¡°It¡¯s fine. I don¡¯t really mind¡± She seems to cheer up as i said that and then she looked serious. ¡°I have brought you here because for the first time in my entire life i have become bored and i wish to have some entertainment¡± I sigh even longer this time because of such a cliche development. ¡°So where are you sending me and what do i get as powers ?¡± She smiles at me again. ¡°I wasn¡¯t going to reincarnate you at first until i read your memories but i do like those ideas so that is what i shall do. You can choose the world and you can have 3 wishes and they can be anything under my power which as a goddess is infinite so anything under that¡± She laughs at her own little joke. I hate stories that have the kids have everything handed to them by their parents¡± I tell her my preferences and my reason for wanting it like this. ¡°Ok but why do you pretty much want your body on auto-pilot for the first five years of your life ?¡± She again asks me another logical question. ¡°I do not want to get attached to them only to be abandoned or to have them die so i would much rather just not exist until the age of five when i will finally be alone¡± I tell her. She sighs. ¡°That is surprising but i can do it and i won¡¯t count it as one of your wishes¡± ¡°Thank you. Now for my wishes. I want three spirits and i want them to be a Katana, A dragon, And the **** ******¡± ¡°WAIT!¡± I stop as she yells that and look at her. Her face is pale white and she is shivering a little and i am pretty sure i know why. ¡°I may be a goddess but i do not have the authority to give you your last spirit and even if i did i wouldn¡¯t¡± I frown disappointed but decide to think of a new spirit when something weird happens. The entire room goes dark around us and then a portal appears next the goddess. ¡°Oh please don¡¯t be him, Please don¡¯t be him¡± She is muttering to herself which is starting to make me frightened and when i see what comes out of the portal i am terrified but intrigued at the same time. ¡°I AM SORRY FOR WHAT SHE SAID SO PLEASE DON¡¯T PUNISH ME!¡± I watch as the goddess is bowing the person or rather thing that walked out of the portal. ¡°I agree to let her have her wish. It will be interesting to see what she shall do¡± The being completely ignores the goddess while it is staring at me and i swear i saw a smile but that shouldn¡¯t be possible and then it just disappears into the portal it came from. ¡°Thank you¡± I tell the figure as it disappears. ¡°I can¡¯t believe he didn¡¯t kill us both just now. He never shows himself to anyone unless he is going to kill them¡± The goddess tells me as she keeps an eye on where the portal was. ¡°Good thing he is interested in me or he may have¡± I tell her and see her shake from the thought of dying. ¡°What are your second and third wishes ? I will just count that as your first even because you only specified what you want and didn¡¯t ask for more¡± The goddess is staring at me and i can tell she is no longer happy about me being here as she was at first. ¡°My second wish is that all spirit rings i get can grow infinitely and will continue to grow over time. But i do not want them to follow regular spirit rules where it will take 100,000 years before my ring turns into 100,000 years. I want them to change as i cultivate so if i cultivate all the spirit power in 20 meters completely dry then my spirit rings will take 20 meters of spirit power each from beyond that and absorb that to make themselves stronger.¡± ¡°That is very specific but i will allow it¡± She gestures me to go on. ¡°For my third wish i want all the spirit beasts that kill to drop spirit bones and i want the ability to be able to painlessly exchange any spirit bones i have integrated with for new ones¡± I know this is technically two wishes but i have a feeling she won¡¯t argue with me about it because she wants me gone so i won¡¯t cause anymore trouble. ¡°Fine. Off you go¡± I was right and as soon as she was done talking i felt myself losing consciousness.
