《The Kind Yet Deadly Devil》


 Prologue : Day of Death

    One day. In the span of one day everthingwas gone. Xin Mo just stood there. In his eyes therewas a dense dark mist. Layed in front of himwere two corpses. No itwaswrong to call them corpses.What layed in front of himwas a mess of blood, crushed bones, and hair. Inside the collasped buildingwas a body, and a hand sticking out.

    A few hours ago....


    "Luo Ning, go buy some rice", Luo Ning''s mother called. Lending him some copper coins. Then out of nowhere, hewas shoved by his sister.


    "Can''t I go aswell", his sister pouted. This made her look adorable as it showed her cute side.


    "Luo Hua, you have help me", scolded their mother. She was making dinner for two families as Luo Ning childhood was coming back to the village. Reductingly shewent to her mother to help.


    "I''ll buy something that youwant this once", Luo Ning said. Luo Hua'' eyes immediately shined like the stars.


    "Really, really", Luo Hua exclaimed. "Then Iwant a beautiful pendant". Luo Huawas at that agewhere all girls care about is thier beauty. She was publicly known as the villages cutest girl, but the most beautifulwas his childhood freind. The Luo familywas the most prominent family in this tiny village. However they know their limits. His childhood freind''s father or Uncle Linwas stronger than hundreds of his Luo families strength put together. And hiswife Aunt Mengwasn''t as strong, butwas enough towipe out multiple Luo families many times over. This put the Luo family out of their place thinking that theworld was under their control.


    "Don''t spoil her", their mother complained. Even if theywere the prominent family their situationwas the same as the rest of the village.


    "Don''tworry it''s from my currency", Luo Ning explained. Everyone recieves currency according to their rank in the family. Lou Ning''s mother fell silent as she knows that her sonwas always near the bottom. This meant that he doesn''t have as much currency as even the middle rankers of his family. The villagewas flattened into a crater, many other craters surrounded the village. Not only this falmeswere everywhere,with different colors. Thiswas Heaven''s put right before him, and the thingwas he couldn''t hear a single voice. The skywas black, the Earthwas scorched, and beaten yet therewere no human sounds. Looking at the sky again, he saw around fifty people surround one person.Isn''t Uncle Lin.Wait is that Aunt Mengwith the group facing him.Where is Lin Mu?


    Then someting unbelieveable happened Aunt Meng Actually thrusted a sword into Uncle Lin.Whywould Aunty do that? Luo Ning stared onwithwide eyes. Then the group just magically disappered as nothing happened. Aunt Meng''swas unbelieveably calmwhen she killed Uncle Lin, as if she did something insignificant. Running to where Uncle Lin fell, he saw that Uncle Linwas bloody all over, and looked like hewent through torture all over. Climbing to him, Luo Ning saw that hewas miraculously still alive.


    "Uncle Lin... I''ll take to my family, and take care of your wounds", Luo Ning urgently. Uncle Lin then turned to face himwith a shocked face like seeing himwas like the gods themselves came.


    "Ning boy, mywounds aren''t treatable by normal menas", Uncle Lin sighed. "Besides your familywas annihilated'' his voice wasserious. Hearing that Luo Ning ran like a horse towards his house.Watching him run, he sighed, drew his last breath, andwatched the sky as his eyes dimmed.


    Upon reaching he saw the destruction, and death. He kneeled, and stared into space thinking of his family. He regretted that he didn''t take his sisterwith him. He didn''t shed any tears as the only emotion left inside himwasn''t saddness, But purewhite angerwith all the hatred his body can handle. Hewas shaking violently un til he fainted.


    A dark figure hid nearby looking at all the events, and the emotions of the boy. A dark, and vile energy came out of their body showing that they cultivate devil arts.


    "Maybe I should take him as my disciple", unexpectly it was a womans voice that came out. Looking closer at her, she is the seller of the pendant.

 Chapter 1 : Traveling Master, Disciple, And Ghost?

    Two cloaked people were on the road. Not disclosing any of their identities to anyone. The one was Luo Ning¡¯s Master. No wait¡­.. That day he changed his name to Xin Mo.


    A few weeks earlier ¡­..


    Kneeling in front of his parents mess, Luo Ning stood there lifeless. After a minute or two he went to the house they all lived in. Looking at his sister¡¯s corpse he silently swore to himself that he find the bastard that did this, and kill him. No, he will torture him, and make his life worse than death whoever they are.


    ¡°Kid, do want to save your sister¡±, a melodious voice sounded out. Looking behind him, he saw the cloaked man from the stalls. No wait, it was a woman. Laughing at himself he saw the black mist around her.


    ¡°Elder sister, it¡¯s already too late for me to save her¡±, Luo Ning said as he thought about the times they had together.


    ¡°Not necessarily, as I practice Yin arts¡±, the melodious voice said indifferently. ¡°Reanimating someone is very easy for someone like me¡±.


    The woman waved her hand, and a light white, and bright mist appeared. It wrapped itself around Lou Hua¡¯s body. The a bright blue flame came out with her face in it. Her eyes were closed as if she were


    sleeping. Reaching out to her from surprise, he was stopped by the mysterious woman.

    With suspicion still in his heart, he gave the pendant, and Lou Hua¡¯s soul. Making some seals with her hands, and using her Primal Yin Qi. Lou Hua¡¯s was suddenly sucked into the pendant. Shock, and worry was showing as his whole body was drenched in cold sweat. However right after Luo Hua¡¯s soul came right out, and looked more realistic. Even still he didn¡¯t shed a tear as she couldn¡¯t remember a thing of her past. The only thing she remembered was that someone named Lin Mu killed her.


    In his heat rage burned, and was screaming in anger. Calming himself was the best way, and he even managed to subdue it inside the depths of his heart. His life was upside down, but the calmness of his was frightening as even she will have mental breakdown. What she didn¡¯t know was that he had a mental breakdown, yet it was quickly concealed as he knew that Luo Hua was partially alive in this world still. Now all has is the desire to make it up to her.


    ¡°Now that you¡¯re together again, then I can expect you to hold your end of the promise as expected¡± sang the lady as if she won the lord¡¯s favor. ¡°My name is Xin Xianmu, and as my adopted son you will be Xin Mo.¡±

    Present Day


    All she taught me was how to control this new dark energy. In fact that, all I was doing was absorbing it all along this journey. Many thoughts drifted into my as I have no idea what she wanted. Xin Mo all along this journey was forced to absorb this type of energy, and then hunt the demonic beasts along the edge of the road. The dark energy was coming off of them as they die, and draw their last breath.


    ¡°Pretty good, for a guy that has no idea what to do¡±, Xin Xianmu mocked coldly. Then why don¡¯t you teach me something useful. The there was a rustle in the nearby forest with a guy, and a girl protruding from the bushes. As they ran into the road, about 7 more came out.


    ¡°Kill them¡±, Xin Xianmu said without batting an eye. What are crazy, me kill a human. However his thought process stopped as one lunged at him with a dagger smiling like one of the beast.
