Checking my back for potential Mary I continued to walk in the direction of my house. While waiting for the stoplight to glow red, I heard noises in the playground near the stoplight. So I went to see what was happening as I stuck my head on top of the fence There I found the kids are throwing rocks at a cowering frog. I know most people doesnt like frogs and that most would probably leave this situation to fate but I guess I''m not one of those people. I hopped over the fence and told off the kids. The kids were atleast a little bit sorry for what they''ve done. I looked at the direction of the frog earlier and somehow the frog is staring at me, I''m not an expert when it comes to frogs but I''m sure as hell that the frog infront of me just now smiled then hopped away. That might just be the weirdest thing to happen in my life yet, and thats telling a lot since I have Luke and Mary associated with me. Well, nothing a good music wouldnt fix. I left the playground and walked straight towards the general direction of my home. "Damn,gotta love these remixes." I said to outloud. Little did I know that was the last thing I would say in this world. In the next few seconds that the music went lower and I could hear honking, I turned my head to the right and saw a frickin truck. I discovered that time will flow a lot slower when youre about to die. Why do I know this? Because I had time to look at the stoplight, the truck driver and that pretty lady with glasses. The stoplight that pressumably glown red is there shining with a bright green. The truck driver seems to be in a panic, I''m guessing that his brakes broke that''s why he ended trying to drift pass me but theres no way that a truck wouldnt hit me in this narrow streets. The pretty lady with glasses has white blond hair and even though she was lacking in the breasts side she was still a very beautiful specially with those Helvetica glasses on her. ... Shit! WTF is wrong with me?! In the next 3 seconds, my vision went black and my body went numb but I could definitely picture me getting crushed between the wall and the truck''s rear. Probably with my eyeball''s popping out and my flesh all over the street...sorry. As I was wondering what would happen now, an incredibly bright light shone above me. I wouldve definitely said that this light was blinding but since I''m already dead and I''m a spirit right now (atleast I think I am) it doesnt really hurts when I look straight at it. I-Is this the thing that old people say that when you die if you get to see a light you have to walk towards it so it would take you to heaven?! As I was pondering about those things a androgynous voice could be heard saying "Congratulations lost soul! I have personally chosen you to be a Guardian of my world.Now lets get you inside the cycle of reincarnation shall we?" ...Who the fuck are you?! Atleast that''s what I wanted to say but I dont really have a mouth right now. Oh, my body seems to be disappearing. Shit.Oh wait maybe this person''s statement means that he/she''ll be reincarnating me in another world as a hero. Also the frog you''ve saved before." What the- Chapter 1.5 part 1: Birth (???)''s POV I woke up early in the morning to prepare my older brother''s meal. As I step outside the house I was greeted by my mother who was hanging our washed clothes. "Good morning Ilia." she said. My name is Ilia an adventurer, I have no last name because only nobles can have those. My mother, even though she is already 147 years old she still has the image of a woman in her 80s. I myself is still 42 so I guess I still have a lot more of time to develop. My race Terrian Noid Variant, is also known as the physically weakest Terrians even so we occupy 90% of the lands here in our world named "Gurak" which roughly translates to "Condensed Ball of Mineral" in Terrian Druf Variant language. Anyways, mymother and I went to buy ingredients at the Mikhail village market. Since I often spend my time running around Mikhail village while fulfilling my contracts and quests given to me by the guild I pretty much know all the nooks and cranies of the place. The Mikhail village buildings, unlike the ones in the capital is composed of wooden houses and buildings so fires need to be immediately put out or else it will spread like wild fire. In the center of the village is a miniature statue of the guardian of the earth Torier. Speaking of guardians, there were constant rumours about the other guardians but I''m not gullible enough to believe in those. We know that there are six existing guardians and that they are powerful enough to confront the "Gods" that the capital worships. Here in Mikhail village and some other places worships Torier-sama as our protector. According to the statue in Mikhail village Torier-sama resembles a bulky lion with armor platings here and there but Ihad not actually seen Torier-sama. That is until now. We finished picking up the ingredients when suddenly we recieved a notification from the System.

The birth of the guardian of the deeps... It is true that the Terrian Noid Variants are known as the weakest among the Terrian race but my elders always said that Torier-sama to help us in cases that Asuiran,Liqiean, Feroan, Mieran or Steelworkers comes to invade a peaceful city or village so we rarely get attacked but that is a different case for the Liqieans.You could be reading stolen content. The Liquieans are very secretive and are said to live deep underwater since they dont have a guardian of their own, during the times that others tries to invade them they''ll lure the invaders to gigantic sea monsters or use their environmental advantage since [Waterbreathing] spell does not last for more than an hour. This is a very big news for the Liqieans, I bet theyre celebrating right now. As me and everyone in the village are pondering at the blue screen in front of us, a powerful roar is heard. Ahuge silhouette covered our view of the sun.In that instant, as if called by the owner of the silhouette all the animals in the village ran towards the direction of the big thing. That day we caught a glimpse of Torier-sama running towards the beach. Never in my life was I so captivated by a creature that does not resemble my kind. A lion with powerful muscles, sporting golden plates that seems to be a part of it''s body, beautiful green irises that were like emerald and three tails. Perhaps I became curious about the reason Torier-sama appeared that I left the things I was holding to my dumbfounded mother and ran towards the beach as well. After 10 mins of running, I eventually reached the beach. With my feet all sore and my breathing becoming rough I nestled in a rock with a view of Torier-sama and the other animals. I did not know what they were looking at until everything became blue. Everything(including me) became as if we were dyed blue except Torier-sama who is now glowing a bright yellow aura. It took me a while to avert my gaze from Torier-sama to the shining thing floating in the the sea. It looked like a blue ball and the Leviathans are jumping around it as if they are dancing. Leviathans are labeled as S-class creaturesby the guild and are said to be very untrusting and hostile to other creatures besides it''s own species. The "thing" then submerged in the waters and as if following it the Leviathans disappeared from my view. The blue color dying everything seems to have disappeared as well. Torier-sama let out another powerful roar but this time all the animals that accompanied him also cried out in the direction of where the blue thing was. Probably noticing my presence now, Torier-sama looked at me and growled. ''Ah, is Torier-sama angry at me for witnessing that?'' I said in my mind as my body shook uncontrolably and my head became covered in sweat. ''If it''s Torier-sama''s wish for me to die then I would gladly die by his hand'' is what I wanted to say but I know deep inside I still want to live my life. When Torier-sama took one step front the earth shook a little. I then sad down and covered my head. 1 2 3 4 5 5 seconds have passed and I didnt feel anything so I took a peek in between my fingers. Nothing, Torier-sama is gone and the animal''s accompanying Torier-sama seems to be walking in the direction of the village. The System then announced:

When I went home it was already afternoon and I got scolded by father for leaving mother like that. I could barely sleep that night because of the event that happened today. What does the other Guardians look like? Are they as Majestic as Torier-sama? Which of the Guardians is the most powerful? Such thoughts flooded my mind until I became exhausted from thinking. It''s really weird that Mary and that Luke fellow didnt come, since they were basically the second and third best friend of Steve. It''s not mything to be sentimental, that job belongs to those two. I''m supposed to be the stand up comedian guy, yet ''ere I am. It''s been five minutes of me just sittin down and lookin at the floor ''ere. I know that the moment I look up, the dude that is supposed to be my friend would be lyin in a coffin in front of me. I didnt want that. That''s why I did''nt look up. Not lookin up is a hard thing to do. Little by little my urge to look at what''s in front of me grew until it became unbearable. I couldnt deny reality. When I felt my eyes wet, I know it was time to go. I stormed outta the place my buddy calls home and ran straight near the bus stop. Funny, I always see in movies that at times like these it would always rain hard as if trying to cover the tears of the character but today''s weather cant be anything but sunny. ... Dangit! Stupid fucking emotions is fucking up my handsome face. It''s all that dummy''s fault. If only he stopped being such a wuss and confessed to Ms. Helvetica glasses girl or whatever then maybe that event wouldnt have happened. (Mary''s POV) Today is my target of affection''s commital. I made sure to wear my best black dress, my pater familiaspromised deliver me to Steve''s house. Ah, how I missed saying that name. I myself am very aware of that and have been trying to find my happy place at school. I then met my target of affection who seems to be a magnet for other weird people. For example is Fidy who is a rather good-looking fellow and he is also good at taking care of the normal girls but he seems to like become a comedian when he is around. Luke Jensenn, an eccentric master writer who have won various prizes in literature contests yet this fact is something that Steve did not know of, he only knew Luke as someone who joined the novel writing group at school just so he could mess with him. Then there''s me. The moment I saw various other plebeians gather around Steve and they acted as if they''ve remove the ''mask'' that they put on public I hypothesized that maybe this plebeian can actually help me find my happy place here at school. I followed my target everyday trying to get close to him as cautiously as possible. Then one day I was caught and labeled as a "Stalker" by Steve yet in those words that he muttered, I could not sense any hatred or anger. I felt secure and happy around him. From that day onwards I openly "stalked" the plebeian that has garnered my feelings hoping that one day I could properly relay these emotions to him but that day did not come. It was valentines day when it happened, my pride as a "stalker" were crushed when I got into a quarell with the plebeian''s friend Fidy. I have actually bought a chocolate cake nearby that morning so I could give it to Steve (somehow). After my quarell with Fidy I noticed that he has disappeared and that a loud person is shouting "NNNNUUUUUUUUUWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAA" outside. I walked down the path that Steve would usually take but I foun it weird that I could hear ambulance sirens. I got the news after that. As we were travelling to Steve''s house I heard a faint voice saying. "If you want to meet him again you should look to your right!" I decided to follow the voice and looked to my right. The last thing I saw before my death is a blue truck.
(Luke''s POV) They called me a genius yet that did not seem to satisfy me. Most people would definitely be flattered upon recieving such a title yet I did not feel so. The only person to ever actually treat me as who I am and not as the "genius" that the masses labeled me as is the "Wimpy Protagonist" Yet his story is no more as of valentines. 5 hours after the wimpy protagonist made me scream by slapping the goods Ive been handing out to everybody I recieved the news that the wimpy protagonist is no more. On the day of his funeral as I waited for the car that is going to pick me up an unexpected development happened. The place I currently am is no longer the front of my house. Right now I am sitting in a huge canopybed with a pretty with lovely proportions. I asked the question all reasonable and sane person would in this situation. Noids are weak when alone but with their racial gift [United We Stand] makes them a formidable force when it comes to wars.[United We Stand] boosts all stats of the user(s) when fighting in an army of500 or more other Noids. 2.Elves-The most versatile among the Terrians. They have an average life expectancy of 2560 years.They have the racial gift [Jack of No-Trade] which is part of the reason why theyre so versatile.[Jack of No-Trade] lets the user freely change his/her stat points allocation anytime but this has a cooldown of 1 day 30 minutes and 55 sec. 3.Draf-The oldest Terrain race. They have an average life expectancy of 8438 years and is known to be wise craftsmen. They have the features similar to Elves but their maximum height is about half of a normal elf''s. They have the racial gift [Midas'' Touch] which lets them transform non-living things into gold, this has a cooldown of 5 hours 30 minutes and 10 seconds. 4.Nikimono-Race that are said to be created because of a god''s interest in animal eared girls and guys concept in another world(earth). Their average life expectancy is around 910 years. They have different sub-variants such as cat-kin, horse-kin, cow-kin, snake-kin and other land animal sub-variants. They are known to be nible and physically powerful. Their racial gift is [Feral Fever] which triples the user''s Mvm Spdand Atk Spd stats when the user successfully lands a critical strike, this has no cooldown but the effect does not stack. 5.Vigora-The equivalent of the demon race in other stories but unlike those demons these race are known to be peace-loving. Theyre also known as the most powerful race in offensive magic or physical combat. Their racial gift [Divide and Conquer] which is the opposite of[United We Stand].[Divide and Conquer] boosts all stats when fighting alone, if another Vigora is within the user''s field of vision this ability does not activate but It can activate as long as the other Vigora is not in the user''s field of vision so It can be used by atleast two Vigoras at once as long as they dont make eye contact. 6.Dragons-Theseintelligent creatures are not labeled as monsters even though their appearance strongly resembles one. Theyre known to have a life expectancy of 5700 years. Their racial gift is [Mirror Scales] which quadruples their Mgc Def stat and gives them a 80% chance to deflect the magic used back to the caster. Feroans-beings that inhabits the forests of Gurak. 1.Gnome-Their image strongly resembles that of the Terrian Drafs but their height is about 1/3 smaller. Their life expectancy is unknown. Their racial gift is [Simplify] which blocks the effect of the target''s racial gift for 24 hours, this has a cooldown of 1 day as well. 2.Treant-Known as tree people. These race does not move at all but are physically stronger than most Terrian Dragons. Their life expectancy is immeasurable. Their racial gift is [Immovable Object] which multiplies the user''s Atk stats by 10 in exchange for it''s mobility. If[Simplify] is used on Feroan Treants they would be able to move by using their thick roots as feet. 3.Dryad-The caretakers of the forest. Dryads are known to live eternally if left unharmed. Dryads resembles Terrian Noid women but has green skin and other body parts such as their hair is composed of branches and leaves. Their racial gift is [Natural Cure] that lets them heal any being from any type of illness (curses are different from illness so[Natural Cure] does not have any effect on curses). Asuiran-beings that inhabits the floating islands of Gurak.This novel is published on a different platform. Their appearance resembles Terrian Noid women but they are slightly taller and have wings attached either to the back of ther shoulders or their waist. Their racial gift is [Reckoning] which allows them to slow down time for them and their enemies for up to 10 seconds, they use this to plan out their next attack while time is slowed. 2.Ghail-These are the equivalent of Harpies from the stories on earth. They have a life expectancy of 109 years. Theyre called bird brained by other races for they can forget things rather easily. Their racial gift is [Unburden] which has an effect of dividing all other stats besides Mvm Spd and Atk Spdof the target by 10 but multiplies their Mvm Spd and Atk Spd by 20. They can cast this on theirselves, that is if they remember to do so. 3.Valafs-The opposite of Valkyries, theyre all men. While Valkyries have white wings, Valafs has black wings. Their life expectancy is 482 years. Their appearance resemble Terrian Noid men but slightly tallerand have wings attached at the back of ther shoulders. Their racial gift is [Whittle Down] which lets them decrease the Atk and Mgc Atk stats of enemies. Liqiean-beings that inhabits the bodies of water in Gurak. 1.Neraids-They resemble the mermaids and mermen of earth but they have the ability to change their lower body parts from fish tail to Terrian Noid legs or vice versa. Their life expectancy is 1890 years. Their racial gift is [Against all odds] which multiplies all their stats by 7 when theyre fighting against beings whose at least one level higher than them. 2.Leviathans-Much like the Terrian Dragons, these giant sea monsters are quite intelligent. Theyre known to be hate all other races besides itself and are very hostile to the other race variants. Their life expectancy is unknown. They have the racial gift [Unstoppable Force] which lets them instantly bypass barriers and other shield like magics at the cost of having the owner''s Mvm Spd stat to decrease by 100. 3.Crabius-Known as crab people. Theyre the Asuiran Ghails of Liqiean, they easily forget things and attacks anything or anybody as long as they feel like it. They have a life expectancy of 7 months. Their racial gift is [Natural Armor] that negates the damage done by criticals that hits the user (this means that if the owner of[Natural Armor] gets hit by a critical hit, the damage that was supposed to be done will become 0) 4.Azuriors-Also known as morphlings. These beings has no definite shape but is identified by the other races as a "living blob of water". Like the Feroan Treants, Azuriors have an immeasurable life expectancy. Azuriors are mostly found in rivers, lakes or swamps. Their racial gift is [Liquid Body] which renders physical attacks useless with the exception of fire attributed attacks, in cases of getting hit by a fire attributed attack the owner of[Liquid Body] will recieve damage 8x than regular. Steelworker-beings that inhabits the manmade island of Gurak. 1.Living Armors-Pieces of armor that have souls residing in them. Their life expectancy is immeasurable. Their racial gift is [Metal Body] which halves all damage taken with the exception of fire attributed attacks. Fire attributed attacks'' power is multiplied by 5 if the target has [Metal Body]. 2.Lugos-The equivalent of cyborgs of earth. Half-men half-robot, Lugos have been taking care of the SteelworkIslands for hundred thousands of years before.Their racial gift is [Instant Cooldown] which refreshes all the user''s abilities'' cooldown, this has a cooldown of 1 minute. Mieran-beings that inhabits the void, a hidden space located only on Gurak. 1.Yulios-The only beings found in the void, theyre also called as voidlings. They resemble Terrian Noids but they have no facial features and their whole body is black. Their life expectancy is unkown. They have the racial ability [Nullify] which lets them negate all types of damage they recieve for a maximum of 1 minute and 30 seconds, this has a cooldown of 2 minutes and once activated it cannot be stopped until the end of the duration. Helius-beings that inhabits Jel, a hidden space located only on Gurak. 1.Helions-The only beings found in Jel. Theyre life expectancy is unkown. They resemble Terrian Noids but they have no facial features and their whole body is red. They have the racial ability [Winner''s rights] whichlets them copy the racial ability of a different race variant after defeating them.[Winner''s rights] can only copy one racial ability at a time. Chapter 2: The dreaded underwater level is my spawn point?! The moment my consciousness returned the first thing I saw is blue and darkness around me. ''W-where am I?'' these were the first thoughts i''ve had after waking up. From the looks of it, I seem to have reincarnated underwater but have no problem breathing whatsoever. ''Hehehe my knowledge about dinosaurs are quite amazing isnt it?'' W-wait, am I going to get eaten? I just reincarnated and the Leaun god guy girl person made the underwater level my spawn point?! ''What a douche!'' I yelled in my mind since I dont seem to have a mouth right now. "Oi, who do you think you''re calling a douche?" said by certain douc-I mean androgynous god. Golden hair with facial features of a girl at the age of 8 and a flat chest. This is this world''s god Leaun, did he come to save me perhaps?! I always thought that leviathans is a water dragon with tentacles... Wait, didnt the trap said that-''Oi why do you keep calling me a trap'' these Leviathans are just dancing around me? Can I take that as-''Hey! Stop ignoring me and monologuing!'' a sign that they are not here to eat me? I still cant bring myself to get my guard down since I''ve read that some sea creatures like orcas likes to play with their food before eating it. *stare* Oh for a second there I forgot that the trap god is here. Guardian''s Privelege-Owner gains Exp points from staying in territory. Otherworlder-The owner will be notified if another person with the same Perk of |Otherworlder| is nearby. Reincarnator-Stat points gain each level is doubled.
So since I''m appointed as a guardian and none of the monsters and other creatures will attack me I am not allowed to kill anyone? Well thank you Appraisal but I dont think any creature would be able to speak under water and I sure as hell dont want to transform into a leviathan. As I was having those thoughts I heard singing from a distance. The voice is stunning and from afar I knew it belonged to a girl, she is singing in a language I do not know of. The owner of the voice went nearer and nearer to my location, I saw her black hair and skin that resembles a human''s but she had fins attached to her arm, a fish tail and gills on her neck and she''s also only wearing a metal breastplate.She still hasnt seen me yet so I took the time to use appraisal on the girl.

I was not sure what to do since the only skill I have used so far is appraisal so what I did was focus on the image onee-san before and hope that something happens. I closed my eyes for 1 min no... 2 minutes now, I didnt feel any change in my body so I''m guessing thats not how it works. I opened my eyes to find that I have grown a slender arm, silvery long hair and naked breasts.
