《Crimson Night Sect Young Ancestor》 Prologue: Fate is a... ¡°Name?¡± ¡°Asmodeus.¡± ¡°Age?¡± ¡°17.¡± ¡°Cause of death?¡± ¡°Starvation¡¡± A dark red soul was hovering in front of a shadow figure as it answered every question which was aimed at him. ¡°The council has decided. Your karma is one of a kind, thus you¡¯ll be granted the opportunity to accomplish your dream.¡± ¡°Really?!¡± ¡°Yes. To do so, the Devil himself will give you a suitable vessel.¡± ¡°How gre-... Wait for a second! The Devil himself?¡± ¡°Yes.¡± ¡°Ahum¡ I mean¡ Do I have to accept some kind of deal?¡± ¡°No.¡± ¡°Is the vessel some kind of cursed thing or anything along those lines?¡± ¡°You¡¯re asking too many questions for a mere soul¡¡± Feeling the change in tone coming from the shadow figure the dark red soul didn¡¯t speak anymore and quietly waited, as the gears of fate were spinning. And before he could understand what was happening, his surroundings started to shift. Without any prior warning, he was at the center of a huge hall. ¡°Don¡¯t disappoint me.¡± A foreign voice resounded in the very depth of his soul. The moment he heard it, he could feel his core changing, as if he was evolving into something he couldn¡¯t comprehend. Many emotions invaded him. All those emotions he chose to discard when he died. Regret, anger, sorrow, and loneliness. Before dying, Asmodeus was a normal boy. He had no talent in particular but he wasn¡¯t inept. He was average. So average that he couldn¡¯t have anything. He wasn¡¯t bad enough to receive pity and help. He wasn¡¯t good enough to receive admiration and fame. But he didn¡¯t mind. He didn¡¯t mind, but the world did. As an average person, he was considered as a disposable piece. His complaints and his screams weren¡¯t heard. He alone wasn¡¯t anything. He knew it. Thus, he tried to be something for those for whom he was more than your average man. His father was no more, his brother was nowhere to be seen. The only one remaining were his mother and his little sister. He considered both of them as his everything. He would help out his mother with the loan and another type of expenditure by taking two part-time jobs. He would try his very best to act as the best brother a sister could have. However, the reality wasn¡¯t so kind.Unauthorized tale usage: if you spot this story on Amazon, report the violation. When he was 16, his sister fell in love with a handsome young man. They were both fifteen, thus he didn¡¯t mind. He wasn¡¯t some kind of overprotective brother, he felt that he needed to trust his sister with her decision. The young man was more than he looked like. Although they both attended a public school, the young man background wasn¡¯t anything they could dare to mess with. He didn¡¯t know about that. The young man liked his sister too. Both of them had what you could call a healthy relationship. She didn¡¯t want to give up too much for him as they were still young and he didn¡¯t want her to be involved too much with him as his actions could bring disaster to her. And they did. Although arranged marriage was very uncommon they weren¡¯t inexistent. His parents arranged a marriage for him with a girl who was at the time in a private school. He didn¡¯t want to hear anything about that marriage. But he was the only one thinking this. Worst, the girl he was engaged with, was completely crazy about him. Thus, he wanted to keep his relationship with Asmodeus¡¯ little sister a secret. He failed. The girl came to know about it. The moment she knew about it, Asmodeus felt as he was thrown into a pit of fire. His mother and he were fired for no good reasons. And no matter how hard they tried, they couldn¡¯t manage to find another job. Money became scarce. The young man his sister was going out with tried to help them and ultimately found out the reason of their bane. But it was too late. He went to Asmodeus¡¯ apartment where he and his family lived with an envelope filled with money as a compensation for everything that happened. However, when he got to their residence, policemen had surrounded the area. In the sea of those people, he could see Asmodeus, his hand drenched in blood. Their eyes met, and he was petrified. He felt as If a banshee had taken his soul. Afterward, the young man gave Asmodeus the money he came with and explained the situation to him. During the whole conversation, Asmodeus never opened his eyes. He was tired. Tired of looking at this world, so he chose to close his eyes. Because the next time he would open his eyes, every flaw which will enter be seen by him will be purged. Asmodeus went to his new ¡®home¡¯ on his 17th birthday. And he never left it. He felt as if his body had no more strength. One, two, three days passed before he ultimately died of starvation. During the whole process, he couldn¡¯t move. He lost his senses one by one. And if he had opened his eyes the moment before he died, he could have seen that a woman was watching him with a wicked smile. ¡ And now he could live again. Inside a ruined temple, he was laying on the ground, naked. His long silk black hair covering his chest and his amethyst eyes gazing at the ceiling. As he lifted his new body, he could feel it. No, he knew. The world he was in was different. Here, he could accomplish his dream. Here in Bearth, a world where mana and qi existed. One defied the nature laws while the other one used it. Along with his body, knowledge about this world was provided to him. Knowledge about his power too. A dark crescent moon with seven red stars on it was tattooed on his back. A red trident was in his left hand. A weapon to kill. Armageddon. With a flick of his hand, a blue screen appeared in front of him.

Damn... I am younger! I mean... This is pretty unbalanced... At least I won''t suffer any bottleneck because I can''t purify my qi and mana. After closing his eyes, Asmodeus left the temple and was welcomed by a barren land. I need to grow stronger. Then, I will find a suitable place to build my sect... A sect which will have for goal to give his disciples the opportunity to go against their fate. Indeed, for Asmodeus, fate was a bitch. Chapter 1: I offer you... The world was divided into nine continents separated by oceans. Those continents were divided into multiple kingdoms and empires. Each king and emperor had the absolute authority inside his territory. Why? They were the strongest. At least the strongest who aimed for domination inside the territory. The world of Ghot was dictated by strength. As long as one managed to become stronger they could do whatever they wanted without being defied. However, there was a limit to what a person could do. This limit was called talent. And most people would never reach their limit black of resources, guidance, luck and most of all, time. A gifted child won¡¯t amount to much if he were to die at an early age. It only meant that his fate was grim, to begin with. Some decided to challenge their fate by trying to overcome their limit. Needless to say, that they failed. Those bound to die, died, those bound to live, lived, those bound to suffer, suffered. There was no escape from it. In the desolate northern region of the Caiga continent, small villages composed of unfortunate people lived there. They didn¡¯t have to fear thieves and other types of danger from going to their home since their land had nothing interesting, to begin with. Kingdoms and empire didn¡¯t even bother revendicating it since the mana and qi fluctuation was way too poor. Even a stone grade sect wouldn¡¯t want a single bit of it. The villagers had to rely on themselves to live. Each and every day in they would feel the chillness from the wind and the burning hunger in their stomach daily. In total, they numbered around 4000 people. They were separated in multiple small villages on different mountain peak. Their land could be considered vast and minuscule at the same time. Vast because their land, the Desolate Ice Wind Valley, could be considered as one of the biggest in Caiga continent. Minuscule, because they couldn¡¯t afford to explore it so their point of view of their territory was restricted and the cultivable soil was just enough for each village to not die of hunger. Today was the beginning of the year. The snow covering the peaks was slowly diminishing and the sound of laughter could be heard. At this time of the year, all the village will reunite and share some time together. In this godforsaken land, the needed to stay united in order to survive. The elders were monitoring the children who had yet to come of age and gave them appropriate tasks for their age. The men who had already come of age had left early in the morning for the White Fang mountain range in order to look for some easy preys. They seldom go there as the risks are way too important. It just wasn¡¯t worth scarifying someone for few kilograms of meat. A man who knew how to manage the field could harvest tens of kilograms of cereals in his life to supply his family and his neighbors. And this, throughout his life. Thus, hunting for food was done in groups of ten. They stayed at voice reach of each other. The different groups would take separate ways at the foot of the mountain range. However, someone called will stay in between these groups, generally an experimented hunter, who could relay messages around if two groups were to be too far from one another.Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings. The reason for that was simple, if an F or E grade beast was to appear, it was completely forbidden for a single group to engage the fight. None of them knew martial arts or magic besides strengthening and basic healing. Today, the harvest was plentiful. Each group managed to bring back at least 7 kilograms of meat. It was the biggest harvest they ever made. ¡°Looks like tonight we may be able to eat our fill¡¡± An elder with dry voice spoke to his friend next to him. ¡°This year, it seems like luck will be on our side¡ I hope my granddaughter manage to give birth safely¡¡± ¡°Look at you old fool! You¡¯re bringing ill omen whenever you talk! When your great grandchild will be born, don¡¯t forget to invite me for dinner!¡± The other snorted. ¡°You just want free food! Can you still eat that much after all these years? Maybe you¡¯re not human but a beast?¡± ¡°You¡¯re a beast! Who stole aunt¡¯s Me-¡° His voice came to a halt. Not only him, everyone present couldn¡¯t speak any further. In the darkness of the night, under the new moon, a young man with long black hair and a handsome face descended from the sky. The eyes of nearly 4000 people were glued on the same person as they saw him, like a deity coming down in the mortal world. This was the first time since decades that a stranger had set foot on their land. The young man opened his eyes, a purplish glim emanating from them. As he watched around him, a gentle smile appeared on his face. ¡°I am sorry for interrupting. I have come here today because I wish to claim this Desolate Ice Wind Valley.¡± Hearing his words, the adults put themselves in front of the children, those young women hid themselves inside the nearby houses. After few breaths of time passed, an elder who lacked his left arm walked out of the mass and faced the young man. ¡°We do not own these land, young immortal¡ However, we just hope that you could let us live here since we have nowhere to go¡¡± ¡°I know. I won¡¯t ask you to cross the rift.¡± ¡°Thank you¡¡± ¡°And, I think you are mistaking about my appearance and I am not an immortal. I came here to establish my sect. My Crimson Night sect. And I need people.¡± His gaze was still warm and his wordswere spoken with confidence and strength, however, his aura wasn¡¯t domineering. ¡°This¡ Young man¡ You should know that our land is extremely poor in resources, so poor that whatever sect you wish to build here it wouldn¡¯t be able to last a year¡ And those villagers and I can¡¯t help you with that¡¡± ¡°You can.¡± The young man flicked his hand and a huge multicolored bead appeared in his hand. The bead shone of all colors, making those looking at it nearly go blind. And with another flick of his finger, it disappeared. ¡°What you just saw is an item of mine which will help me, no, us. It will purify the ground and the air all over the Desolate Ice Wind Valley. However, it will take time, but it won¡¯t be a problem.¡± ¡°Young man¡ This¡ Why are you doing this?¡± The young man¡¯s amethyst eyes were wide open as he gazed at all those who were still present. ¡°I wish to create a sect. And I want you to be within my sect. Why? Because you all have the potential to aim for something higher. I won¡¯t be asking much. All I want is for you all to have the resolve to dream for something better. This may sound unrealistic to you all but¡ I can and will help achieve whatever you want. I know my action will have consequences on your lives. Maybe some will die on their way because I told them to aim for a dream. However, I will do it. I offer you a chance to become stronger, to live without fearing about what you could eat tomorrow, to live in a warm house, to be able to freely leave this place, discover the mysteries of the world and come back. This is what I offer you all. And all I want is to be your young ancestor, with you as the disciples, elders, great elders and sect master of my Crimson Night sect.¡± Chapter 2: From now on, there will be.... A week has passed since this incident. Jun Xie, alias Asmodeus, after sharing explaining briefly what he wanted to do and few of his reasons, managed to convince the villagers of his good will. Thus, they accepted his conditions without putting much resistance. In their heart, if he wished to force them into submission, with his strength which was beyond what they could imagine, it wouldn¡¯t be too difficult. But he took the time to discuss things with them and asked them about their feelings on his ideas. They weren¡¯t very knowledgeable about matters regarding sects and the outside world of the Desolate Ice Wind Valley, but if he could transform their prison into a safe haven where they could grow stronger, live in better conditions they would be stupid to refuse when they had nothing to lose. Thus, the villagers all accepted to join Jun Xie¡¯s sect after discussing among themselves for a few days. The latter was elated hearing their favorable answer. In fact, Jun Xie had already explored the entire region and found no one else besides these villagers here. He also went thoroughly explored the entire Desolate mountain range and met with the beast king of the mountain and told him that he was going to change this place and hoped that they could make a deal which would be favorable for both of them in the future. The beast king, who was a black tiger agreed on the spot. Their land was poor in energy and the young man in front of him said he was going to change that fact. Furthermore, how could he refuse? He was considered to be the strongest being in the entire region, but he couldn¡¯t even tell if he could last a breath worth of time against this young man. And his deal wasn¡¯t bad, if anything, it was very good. Both the villagers and beasts asked themselves this question: Are our days of bitter struggle to survive coming to an end? On the other hand, Jun Xie decided to act immediately., First, he chose the highest hill near all the villages and built a humble abode there for a starter. He placed the multicolored bead under his house so that it could start doing what it was made for. Afterward, he reunited all the villagers once again in order to have a better understanding of their current situation. The villagers were separated into six families: the Xue, Wei, Lin, Jin, Fu and Bao family. After roughly checking each villager, Jun Xie found out that those from the Lin family had a purer Qi and their Qi flow was smoother than their mana flow, the complete opposite from the Bao family members. And those from the Wei family had a body constitution which was in average better than those from the other families. As for the other families, he didn¡¯t find anything special about them on the spot, but he could feel that he had stumbled upon a bunch of rough unpolished gems. The author''s tale has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. Looking at the crowd in front of him, Jun Xie came to a decision. ¡°From now on, there will be two factions. The Moonwater faction and the Starfall faction. The Lin, Wei and Xue family will belong to the Moonwater faction and the other three families will belong to the Starfall faction. This separation is needed in order to bring some competition inside the sect, which will help you to strive for more. Right now there won¡¯t be any advantage in belonging to faction or another since many things need to be done first. The environment of the Desolate Ice Wind Valley will drastically change during the following year and I will need everyone¡¯s help to build our sect.¡± Hearing his words, all of them didn¡¯t see anything wrong with them. They just, for most of them, felt that he was exaggerating. Seeing their face full of doubts, Jun Xie flicked his hand and a bag of light blue pills appeared in his hand. ¡°First, I need to solve a problem which annoys me. The elders in this village have a weaker body than the adults and everyone has the same G- cultivation in both Qi and mana. This is something which isn¡¯t acceptable. Elders should be able to withhold authority, and not because of their seniority but because they have a better understanding of the laws of this world than the younger generation. However, there are always exceptions.¡± A gentle smile appeared on his face as he faced the elders with closed eyes. The elders were too old be embarrassed by his words but they clearly understood what he meant. He was an exception since he was the one holding the most authority and power. ¡°Anyway, I will need to teach and instruct the elders during this whole year in which we will lay the foundation of the sect. I will help you by providing you the necessary material and the blueprints. Things which will require too much technique will be managed by me. Thus¡ I will ask for the elders to come to stay here near my house. I will construct temporary houses for you and provide you with food and water. But before that, in my hand, there are several Heaven Shredding pills. These pills will make you go through drastic change depending on your talent and will give you a strength you could only have imagined to reach until now. However, after eating this pill, your talent will be greatly diminished¡ For instance, elder Wei Dong, you currently have a G+ strength and your talent in strength is S, after eating this pill your strength will go straight to E I believe but your talent will drop to B+.¡± The elders sucked in a breath of cold air. They knew that Jun Xie was an incredible young man, but his word had struck their minds multiples times. First, he promised about providing enough resources for feeding every elders, which represented an incredible amount! There were approximatively a hundred of elders, and the fact that they didn¡¯t need to depend on their families to eat would relieve from a burden and allow the younger generation to have more food for themselves. Secondly, they once had people who broke through F- of strength among the member of the Wei family but it happened only a couple of time since their families lived here. Now, they could hope to reach this unfathomable level. Their knees started to get weak as they kneeled in front of Jun Xie, however the latter quickly forced them to stand up. ¡°You now belong to my sect, as its founder how can I let you all in such a dire state? Believe in me and I promise to make you all see the sky of the outside world, not as ants that people can step on or look at in disdain, but as kings, queens, princes and princesses of the Desolate Ice Wind Valley.¡±
