Aiming to become a magician, YuHan studied magic on his own from the books his father bought for him and learned that each person had their own magic element and magic power since their births, it was something totally ridiculous for Antonidas who learned all the knowledge of magic in his past world and could learn all the elements without problems. Jiu Mei who always stayed next to Yuhaninside the castle became close to him little by little becoming a big sister in the existence of such person called Yuhan. Worried that YuHanwent to the Stone Jade City all on his own, his father ordered Jiu Mei to accompany him and decided to hire 4 knights from the holy church. YuHan''s father even gave him an amulet coated with magic, even though it was only a weak magic aura, Antonidascould perceive through the magic item and know that it was a barrier-type amulet.Maybe it was YuHan''s feelings that was mixing insidehis body, but he became weepy once he received the amulet. During the travel, they met severals weak magical beasts such as horned-rabbits, horned-boar, wolves as well as weak monsters such as goblins, hobgoblins, and slimes. Antonidas was slighly astonished of the knights his father hired since they were a strong existence called Paladin. Those knights could use lights magic and could enhance their body or weapons with light, it was actually the first time he saw such light magic for the first time and became interested in those so-called Paladins. They were polyvalent and could control enemies with blind, taunt, or even stunt if they had shields. He first wanted to go towards the weapons shop, since in the Magic Academy, each student could keep a magic weapon with them. Of course, Antonidas could enhance his own weapon so he didn''t go to a magic weapon shop but a normal shop instead. Once entering the weapon shop, the clerk noticed Antonidas'' clothes, it was the school uniform of the Magic Academy, thus, he tried to rip him some money. He first tried to sell him arusty sword for forty silver coins.Noticing the scam from the clerk, Jiu Mei, who often went to the Stone Jade City started a thirty minutes scolding to the clerk making him sweat all the water out of his body."Don¡¯t you have shame to scam such a young boy? Inside the building, a large room looking like a bar with dozens of adventurers drinking alcohol sitting on their tables. Some of them were in front of the counter, selling the goods they earned through monsters or magical beasts. Upon entering inside the building, a waitress and welcomed them. "Welcome to the adventurer guild! Oh, you are from the Magic Academy! You don''t seems to be someone from the city, are you perhaps here to join the adventurer guild?" Of course, Antonidas didn''t forget to dismember the subjugation proofs and also take magic stones from the monsters. Each monster dropped magic stones with the same ranking as the monsters. Goblins were F-rank monsters so they dropped F-rank magic stones. those magic stones could be either use for weak magic weapons creation or magic gear. It was a rare D-rank monster that often attacked adventurers who went near hisniche, he didn''t expect the Shadow Star-Wolf to suddenly appearthere. The Shadow Star-Wolf glared at him and without wasting time jump on the ground in its shadowand disappeared. "What just happened?" With a *Ting* sound, the Shadow Star-Wolf appeared above the earth needles but not a single trace of wounds could be seen."What a robust fur." The earth needles only stopped the wolf''s movements but the wolf itself was perfectly fine. Noticing that earth spell won''t work on him, he decided to enhance his sword. His sword suddenly started to shine, the light blinded the area surrounding him and without a trace Antonidasdisappeared. Antonidas actually used body strengthening magic. Even though it was a weak enhancing, it was still enough to fight as equal ground against an adult. It was only an enhancement of 2 minutes so he needed to quickly end the fight otherwise it would be problematic to kill the Shadow Star-Wolf after the effects ended. He also used a speed enhancement and jumped, landing behind the wolf and pierced its back. Since the sword was enchanted by light magic, the Shadow Star-Wolf received a fatal wound and tried to kick Antonidas with its hind legs, waiting for that move, Antonidas dodged the kick while removing the sword from its back and slice the Shadow Star-Wolf horizontally. The wolf howled and fell on the ground. Antonidas who forget Jiu Mei''s presence. Seeing that his spell worked, Antonidas cut the wolf''s head with its sword. The wolf fell on the ground and instantly died.It was a literally a five-seconds kill. Without wasting any time, he casted light healing magic on Jiu Mei. "Jiu Mei! Wake up! Are you alright?!" Antonidas spammed his light healing magic but Jiu Mei still didn''t moved. He was worried that the wound was maybe too deep, but after a short moment the wound slowly closed and her eyebrow slightly frown. Arriving at the place where they set the fire camp near the first Shadow Star-Wolf''s body, Antonidaslaid Jiu Mei on the ground after putting a small barrier surrounding her, then he started dismantlingthe first Shadow Star-Wolf who was next to the fire camp. He saw the bounty for them back in the adventurer guild, and it was quite high. He returned to the place where he found Jiu Mei and dismantled the other one. Once he finished collecting the subjugation proofs and the fur, he returned towards Jiu Mei who already woke up. Jiu Mei who noticed the barrier surrounding her, saw Antonidas coming back and bowed towards him. She first intend to call for help when she saw him fighting with the Shadow Star-Wolf but after getting caught by another one, she fell unconscious after the wolf jumped on her. "I''m sorry for worrying you master." Antonidaswaved his hand saying he didn''t mind and said with a worried expression. "Do your wound still hurt you? Antonidas who saw the scene happening in front of him sighed in relief. He honestly didn''t want to leave the baby Shadow Star-Wolf alone. It was also his fault if he lost its parents and he wanted to somehow atone for his crime and this was the solution he found. The baby Shadow Star-Wolf suddenly jumped out of Jiu Mei''s embrace and landed on the ground entering on Jiu Mei''s shadow, he seems to have accepted Jiu Mei as her master. Jiu Mei giggles and said, "Starting from today, your name isBai Lin!" Thus, Antonidas and Jiu Mei returnedto the inn with a new companion, Bai Lin the baby Shadow Star-Wolf.
