 Chapter one- Where is the Dark Lord......and where are we?

    "Wha....just where is this now!"Lisa shouted as she came to this side of portal.I looked around and it seems we are in middile of some forest...the flow of mana is so weak in this world.


    "....Am I alive?"Mark said standing still as a stone with his eyes closed.


    "You are bitch now get out of the way!"Berth said coming to this side...it looks as if they are just apearing out of no where.


    "Now that we all are on this side"Ronald said looking at the eight of us and then placed his hand into the portal once then took it out"Break the mirrior!"he said after which we just stood there and when he raised his hand again to see if its there.....it no longer is.


    "Did you really had to had that thing destroyed"Lisa said puling her witch hat looking annoyed.....she actually wanted to study that dreedful thing.The 8 of us were now standing here simply looking around...this forest dose not seem to be that diffrent except...such strange lack of mana and the air...


    "It seems useing magic is going to be tricky here"Lisa spoke trying to gather some fire spirits barely forming a flame on her palm.She made it go away as being unfamiliarized with the fire of this side began to hurt her hand a little.


    "Guss you two are going to be useless now....OHH BOY I LOVE THIS FEELING!!"Berth shouted"ALL THIS DARK ENERGY HERE IS...I COULD EVEN KILL YOU ALL RIGHT HERE AND NOW!"he can be real pain in the ass.I used soul reach to slightly touch his soul giving him shivers.


    "Fuc....I am just jokeing!"He said falling on one knee....lack of mana in the atmosphere didn''t meant our mana pool had decresed while on other hand it has made useing soul energy even more easy!.But he is right this world seems to be filled with dark energy...Raize feeds of on that energy as he is half demon afterall so he will be more usefull then us for a while now.


    "Guys be on gaurd......I mean we are in some unkown forest!"Areus said looking around with one arm on his dagger.


    "Let us try to find a town or some place with some intelligent race at least....who knows what sort of monsters might be lurking in the dark here....I can not even feel any strong ones presense!"Victoria said while all this time Rose kept silent just looking around like always...it does feel peacefull around here.The sky may not be so clear but after all this time of war and battlefields I don''t even rember the last time I felt such silence....except hideing from some monster!


    We started walking towards south.....if the same directions apply to this worlds as I could smelll large number of human life in that direction.Being a beast can be really usefull in such times!


    "Hey Vladimir!"Areus said walking up to me"Do you think we will find the rest as you said several days must have passed in this world already?",


    "Well Mirva is with them so finding her shouldn''t be a problem in such world with such limited amount of mana in atmosphere unless she went to some other nation already"I said to which he looked relaxed.That idot old Knight entered the portale 2 days ago with 3 others.Going into an unkown world before investigating it first is exactly what i should had expected of that dunce...even after 80 years of knowing each other I still don''t understand that bastard sometimes!


    "You are worried about your sister right?"I said looking at him to which he looked at me then nodded.

    After hours of walking we finally saw a village of humans...they have really strange houses and no walls around the town.


    As we walked into the town it became really really akward.People here wore strange cloth which seemed a bit too similar to those sea men and starred at us while laughing...I was taken offgaurd when one of them took out a strange device and a flash appeared from it.I could feel no magical energy from it except electricty running through it!...and that is really strange! I knew Drawfs used some strange device like this aswell but all of there glass rods and metal boards emit light but when I see its power source they are running on simple electricity which was heating the thin wire inside.This is so simple but yet so strange!.


    "Nice costume man!"A boy shouted looking at me....are you telling me they have never seen a werewolf like me before?


    "Vladimir...I think you should had noticed it too by now"Lisa whispeared feeling uncomfortable as people stared at her ears.


    "Yes I did"I replied checking one more time....I can not feel any other being other than humans in this town...It seems they have never seen beings such as us either...this could turn bad for me,Lisa,Berth....well not him since he looks like a normal human and there seems to be some other dark skin colored people too around...that should work for Lisa too as she will only have to cover her ears...which she just did with her hair.


    "I think it will be best if I do somehting about my look Victoria?"I whispered to her to which she nodded.


    "We went into a pub to which everyone insdie starred at us while the owner looked at Ronald Huge sword at his back looking troubled...no one here seems to carry a wepon too...considering no walls that should mean they have no fear of monster invading...it can''t be they have eliminated all monsters in area?


    "Does your pub has a toilet?"I said looking at the old man in counter....he looked at me then pointed at a red door.


    I walked in and used sleep on those inside then used transformation magic...I changed my look to the same nobel I always change myself into but the clothes...I was a whole feet shorter now and thiner.I took the clothes of one of the guys passed out here.The pants seems really really uncomfortable!


    I came out and for a moment there almost said"I knew it" as Berth stood with his blade in hand while two humans stood before him holding a strange wepon it seems made of iron....its seems to be a cannon used by dwarfs...they always have to start a fight in a pub...though now that I see there is no alcohol here.


    "Drop that blade young man and you get away from that lady!"one of the human shouted looking at Lisa trying to awaken a unconscious female human.


    "What the heck did you do?"I shouted at Lisa as the humans pointed their metal cannons at me.


    "I just tried to read through her thoughts.......their minds are far to fragile!"Lisa said looking annoyed.


    "You boy are you with them?"one of the humans asked looking at me...changing into their clothes was a good call.


    "Lower your blade Berth these seem to be the city gaurd!"Ronald said walking ahead of Berth"Can I have a word with your captian...or who ever is incharge?".


    "Stop screwing with us and just come to the station or else we will have to use fource!",


    "Enough!"Lisa shouted useing sleep on everyone inside.The two city gaurds fell on the floor with the rest while Ronald had a akward expreission.


    "Let me just read through one of them"Lisa said placeing her palm on the fainted woman and began to read through her mind.Well if she knew more about this world it will be helpful to blend in....but her way of doing...nevermind.


    "It might take longer....I seem to have found a scholar!"Lisa said with her eyes closed.I never was that good at such tricks as I prefer more tangible results from my spells....haha tangible.


    Berth was now toying around with those metal cannons while Victoria walked around looking at some of the humans items.Victoria and Rose were looking through the strange food items at the counter while Areus and ronald were trying to make sure Berth dosen''t blow his face off while Mark joined the girls at counter trying to get Rose to talk as usual,


    "How long will it take Lisa?"I asked to which she raised her hand showing three fingers.


    "3 hours?"I asked hopeing she wouldn''t say yes and she didn''t....she noded her head while meditating as a smile appeared on her face.


    "Well if we are going to have to wait I would suggest we try to blend in...there are 3 more humans passed out in there"I said pointing at the toilet to which Ronald looked at me with a funny smile...heir to Lionheart household stealing clothes in some local pub!.Well he never cared about his pride unlike most knights.Why can''t that old knight be more like him.


    "I will try to look through our surroundings through soul realm."I said sitting down going into meditation...


    finding the dark lord will be hard it seems.

 Chapter two-The irony of Iron

    "Come on try one of this Rose!"I said trying to get her to try out these sweets...they look like small cakes.


    "These really are delicious!"Victoria said picking up one more"The last time I ate somethign this good was at Ronald wedding or at your home Mark"she said puching me lightly at shoulder.


    Rose picked one up and took a small bite...THERE HER EXPRESION BECAME LIGHT FOR A SECOND THERE!.


    "...These are nice"she spoke softly and....wait did she replied to somehting I said?(It was a reply to Victoria).


    "Ohh try this out too!"I said passing her the weird drink I found at the counter....she actually took it....and drank...An indirect kiss!(If that is how it works then you kissed Ronald, Berth and everyone else you shared water with too).


    I am almost about to cry,after sticking with the team after so many horrendous journys and almost dying a certain few times(you did die once!) it seems things might finally get going for me!


    "Hey Mark come here for a moment!"Ronald said looking out through the windows as there was a huge crowd outside now....had to cut in exactly now(he just had to huh?).......stay silent!


    "Yea....wow it seems even more of those gaurds have come outside!"I said looking out of the window.


    "Just let me take care of thesaaaaahhhh!"Berth screamed as Ronald pulled him back and starred him in the eye"Stop trying to cause trouble and make sure you don''t take your blade out again this whole night"when Ronald wants to he can be upstraight scary!....poor Berth I mean just look at his face(does that look like the face of past demon lords general?).......no it does not!


    "I can not see properly so can you see how many of those gaurds are out there?"Ronald said as berth looked away pissed but unable to even complain....just don''t mess around in front of him in the first place!


    "It seems there are a total of 7 of those gaurds....quite easy to tell as they all wear same uniform but it seems they really don''t wear any armour what so ever!.",


    "Hmm how long will it take you Lisa?"Ronald shouted to which Lisa shouted back"Just what is up with this world.It is worlds apart from ours while only ruled by humans!"Lisa replied to which everyone was shoucked.


    "Well or so the humans belive!"Vladimir said getting up form meditation.


    "What do you mean?",


    "I mean to say humans don''t know but there still are some races living in shadows hidden among them...not in great numbers but yes they do have some here aswell"Vladimir seemed a bit pissed off.


    "Well I talked with this woman aswell and it seems that if we retaliate it won''t end well"She looked really serious"This world has worked their way around chemistry to creat explosives strong enough to end kingdoms!",


    "Are you saying they all have su..."as Ronald began to speak Lisa stood up ending her meditation.

    "I want you to knock them out",


    "They got those explosive cannons man!"I rember seeing those drawfs make a big hole in a mintourus.


    "These are not the same thing....you should be fine"Lisa spoke but not in very convincing tone.


    "Ok give me back my items then Vladimir"I said looking at him as we all had changed into this worlds clothing while keeping our stuff in Vladimir inner realm.


    "Here you go"Vladimir said giving me one of my poison dagger.


    "You are jokeing right?"I said looking at him to which he shook his head saying no while smiling.


    "We can not use our real wepons here....the people of this place do not even know the concept of magic so your Arts should be more then enough....well take this too I guss"He said takeing out one of his enchanted pendants which he can use to teleport the wearer or himself to each others location.


    ".....Promise me you will teleport me back if you see I am in danger?",


    "I promise"Vladimir replied at least in more conceiving tone than Lisa(That is the same thing he said to our dear old dead friend paul once to you know?).


    "Haa yea Paul...ohh no nothing!"I took the blades while Vladimir had a akward reaction to me mentioning Paul...Idot.


    I had already kept a dagger and smoke bomb before and after takeing the poisoned dagger and wearing the pendent I walked out....These guys seem realy realy weak listning to their heartbeats.


    "DROP THE KNIFE AND GET ON THE GROUND WITH YOUR HANDS BEHINDE YOUR BACK!"an old "cop" shouted in some black device attached by some black thick string to a.....metal stall which has those light emiting glass at top...it looks weirder than many monsters I had seen and his voice came so much louder from that metal thing somehow...well it could be some enchanting spell I guss like the ones those kings use.


    "GET TO THE GROU...."he went silent as I dashed in front of him....these guys can not even keep up with my speed?...I mean I am fast but not that fast compared to everyone in our group.


    As others began to turn behinde I slightly touched the tip of the blade onto his hand then turned and slashed at two others standing by him while making sure only the tip of the blade made contact as this blade''s poison will make them faint for next 2 hours giving us enough time to run away.


    Knocking out who seemes to be their captian is always the best way to take down city gaurds.Only one or two of them are really any danger as rest are just lazy worriors exploiting their ranks.


    "Fucking idots!" I shouted pulling the old man by his tie as his one of his men shot those cannons at me forgeting he is right behinde me!(What is up with their wepon...it made a tiny hole in that steel sta...thing).


    Avoiding these iron wepons projectile will be the best as it seems it has got great penetration power! I threw the smoke bomb at ground while listning to their movements.Are these guys really this place gaurds as they began shouting to each other asking who was where while the old men shouted"Don''t shoo.."he passed out before completeing his sentance.


    I dashed to one of them then sweped one of them off his feet then turned and placed my hand on his chin while he was falling and was about to smash his head to the ground then relazing this much might kill him as it seems these guys have not even trained in any arts!I held him by his collar breaking the fall while pircing the blade''s tip on his neck as he looked scared as shit....I am not going to kill you so don''t look like that....I am not a bad guy!(you almost did kill him though).


    I simply doged their iron projectiles fired from the last two iron wepons and knocked him out(this time with right fource too!).


    As I was done I signaled the others and while smoke was beggning to clear I picked two of their metal wepons,plucked out that device the old man used to make his voice louder and picked some of those projectiles fired by those wepons.


    "......you did not needed to.....never mind!"Lisa spoke looking disappointed to some reason but never mind her as I was stuned looking at Rose who looked a little shy....just a tiny bit as she carried some boxses with Victoria containing those small cakes I presume fomr the smell......Yes she is worth coming even to a diffrent world!
