《SENAD》 THE START PART 1 ACE I was sitting in geography. I looked up it was 11:20. Ten more minutes than I can leave and play some basketball. We were in the quarter finals. We made it so far. I was counting the seconds until 11:30. This could be the school¡¯s winter inter-school basketball cup in 3 years. We were going to beat the all the other schools and win the cup. The moment I turned a corner I sprinted to my locker opened it and threw my bad in. I received my kit and bolted for the front of the school. We went through them two by two. At the end there was only the first guy left. ¡°Like I said ¡°like that will happen¡±¡±. The man grinned. ¡°Oh it will and then I will eat you!¡± the man grew five feet. His skin turned into the darkest void and his eye turned red. He was muscly and he had a tail. THE START PART 2 DEON It laughed like the joker. ¡°I am a demon¡± It said. I was fucking livid. Ace was a complete dickhead. This entire situation was his fault. If he hadn¡¯t started a fight we would be leaving alive and not in a body bag. ¡°Both ways you would have die. I can smell that you¡¯re both mages.¡± It said looking at me. I was left wondering ¡°did you read my mind¡±. ¡°yes I did. And now you die.¡± It laughed. ¡°Why¡­¡± Ace said asked ¡°why did you kill them?!¡± he screamed. The demon looked at him. ¡°I wanted to kill you and I was hungry.¡± ¡°Who are you? What are you?¡± I asked. It turned its head at me. ¡°Names have power mage. My name is Astaroth. I am a water demon. Thanks for asking. Now die!¡± it swung its tail at us, I ducked as ace leaped over it. He kicked off its tail and kneed him in the face. I ran after him and dragged him behind a crate. He was like my brother and he was through threw a wall. I was enraged. He could be dead. I was too angry to think. I snuck out and charged Astaroth from behind. He turned and I crashed into him and I started to punch him in the face again and again. My hand started to feel warm. I continued and I noticed it was on fire but it wasn¡¯t burning hot it was barley warm. I hit him again and again I was starting to see some pain on his face. Pain shot through my back. A piece of rubble hit my back with enough force to bring me down. I saw a giant piece heading for my face and it was smashed by lightning. Ace fell and groaned. He sat up ¡°what¡¯s going on?¡± he saw Astaroth. He screamed in a rage. He looked at me and said ¡°Let¡¯s kill him¡± he charged at him shouting ¡°TODAY¡¯S A GOOD DAY TO DIE!¡± Somehow it lifted my spirits and I charged shouting ¡°TODAY¡¯S YOUR END!¡± I felt unstoppable. Countless pillars of water flew towards us. Ace dodged effortlessly while they evaporated around me. I noticed the lightning was rushing to Ace¡¯s hand and a katana appeared. It was as long as Ace¡¯s arm. He dodged Astaroth¡¯s tail and punches he swung his blade and cut right through his chest and disappeared. It gave me an opening I focused the flame to my hand and opened my hand a huge pillar of fire smashed in to Astaroth¡¯s chest. He screamed out in pain. When the fire died down Ace reappeared and stabbed him with the katana. Blood surged out. He screamed in pain and smashed me with his tail. I saw him turn into dust and get carried away by the wind. I blacked out Ace fell. THE START PART 3 SHEN Hevenly Earth Realm I was sick of it all. I¡¯ve endured such ridicule for so long I couldn¡¯t take it all. I wanted to end it all. I slipped my head through the nose. I was about to kick the chair away when I heard a knocking sound at my door. I took my head out of the nose untied it from the ceiling. I hid it under my bed. I opened the door. It was Yun. She was as tall me and we were friends ever since we were kids. She had her blond hair in a ponytail. She was so beautiful. The most beautiful in the whole school. ¡°Come one. We¡¯re going to be late for school.¡± She said. She placed her hand on it and closed her eyes. It glowed grey and the number 38 appeared. That was good it was at least level 2 and at the most a level 3. How could I have got so strong within such a little time period. It seems like all the suffering I went through was rewarded by this sudden growth in strength and magical affinity. I walked to the second part of the strength test. I was to be hit in the chest by a metal staff until I screamed out in pain. I took of my shirt a started. Bang it hurt. I was hit again and again 99 times until I gave out in the 100th. ¡°99¡±the man said I utter disbelief. ¡°How can you withstand so much when you gave out on the 13 literally yesterday?¡± the man said. It was results day the best score we got was carried over and I had the 9 highest in the entire school from the bottom all the way into the top ten, all that suffering paid off. And to top it off I was accepted into the entrance exam for San ad one of the world¡¯s greatest academy. THE MEETING BANG! I smashed against the wall. Where am I? I passed out when Deon and I defeated Astaroth. Why aren¡¯t I in the hospital? Even if they never found us there why aren¡¯t I in that warehouse? This was aggravating. I hated not knowing stuff. I seek all type of Knowledge because I learnt early on in my life that knowledge is power and no one cares about if you are not strong. I sat up, it looked like I was in a ship. Why was I on a ship? I got up and saw Deon out cold. I shook him and he groaned. ¡°Why did you wake me up?¡± Deon asked. He groaned again. He looked around as he absorbed his surroundings. ¡°Are we in a ship?¡± I looked at him. He was all ways lacking perception he was emotional and reckless. I was reckless but not as reckless as him. ¡°Looks like?¡± I replied I walked to the door. It was made out of metal. I opened the door. There was other doors starting to open this was annoying. Where am I? I walked down the hall with Deon right behind me. I saw a double door and I sensed something. I moved closer to the door and I heard a sound. It sounded like electricity. I was stunned they were going to electrocute anyone that touched the door. ¡°I need something that is a bad conductor of electricity. I saw a wooden broom stick. I walked towards it slowly very slowly. I noticed some tiny holes in the ground. I stretched my arm and grabbed it. I heard meatal clicks. I grabbed the broom and pulled it back. A cage shot up around the original position of the broom stick. I walked and slid it through a handle and pulled. I felt some electric currents moving through my arms but it didn¡¯t bother me. I was covered by lightning by that stupid voice in my head. Now he was quite. Thank god he was quite. I opened the door and walked through behind Deon. It lead to a full cafeteria. They all turned. They weren¡¯t shocked that we came in the expression on their face looked more like finally. I was shocked but I decided not to say anything. I sat down next to a guy in green. He looked like a stick up rich Asian. Then I noticed the cuts on his face and the pure anger in his eyes. It looked like he had some troubling child hood. I looked at him and said ¡°Hi. The names Ace.¡± I looked at him and stuck out my hand for him shake. He did ¡°my name is Zou Shen just call me Shen. I hate my family.¡± Ok I thought looks like he is not the type of rich person that doesn¡¯t like touching poorer people because he thinks that he is above us. I pointed at Deon and said to Shen ¡°this is Deon¡± he also shacked Deon¡¯s hand. ¡°Where are you from Shen?¡± Deon asked. He was still thirsty for knowledge after he just got so much from Shen ¡°I saw this stair case¡± I said pointing at it. We walked up it I heard Ace mumbling a few words to himself. Finally, after what felt like hours, we saw the door behind this long set of stairs. I opened the door. It was the surface of the ship. There were hundreds of people outside. They were tall, short, black, white, poor, rich, men and women. There was one thing in common we were all sixteen. I looked up. There was a giant Farris wheel with glass containers and there was a giant bell tower I heard it gong the moment it hit 14:30. We were in London. There was a boom and I saw a hole appear out of nowhere. It sucked all the air out of my lungs which wasn¡¯t much since I was out of breath while coming up the stairs. The ship was pulled into it and the world elongated. I saw people monsters and demons. I saw a group of teenagers three in total moving through something that should be the palace of god and a statue pinned one down2. I blacked out ENTRANCE EXAMS ¡®I looked up. We were in a forest. I stood. Deon and Ace were out cold next to me. Ace was 6 foot. He was lean and the muscles in his body were visible. He had pitch black hair and unnerving snow white eyes. His olive skin was etched with tribal tattoos but they were barely visible. When I first met him his eyes studied me. However Deon was relaxed and clam. He wasn¡¯t as unnerving and mysterious as Ace but it unnerved me the way he didn¡¯t have his guard up unlike Ace. It was like Ace was the calm and calculating type while ace just didn¡¯t care. Although he was calm and didn¡¯t have his guard up, he oozed power. He had dark hair and black eyes. He was light skinned and he had the same body as Ace. He seemed more down to earth than Ace which I like. I shook Deon awake and he kicked Ace. Ace looked around and looked confused. He stopped and walked up to a tree and punched it and returned. ¡°Where are we?¡± he looked at his wrist and looked back up. ¡°Is this some sort of entrance exam?¡± I nodded. ¡°Yes this is the entrance exam for Sen Academy. I concentrated. Where I landed a set of twin battle axes. I lifted them with ease. I looked at Deon and Ace. Deon was on fire and Ace had a katana and lightning crackling around him. I charged him from behind as a column of lightning and fire came from the sides. Two pillars of rock reached out of the ground. I continued but the ground beneath me turned to sand and a pillar hit my chest and propelled me back. ENTRANCE EXAMS 2 I heard Shen groan as he got up out of the rubble he was smashed into. I charged again but this time I dodged the pillar he sent out to hit me. He suddenly jumped back while I followed. The ground beneath me stated to turn into quick sand. I was sinking fast and a pillar shot out right towards his head. Shen smashed it with his battle axes. Ii moved to the right narrowly escaping half of the pillar. The man jumped as fire smashed down where he was standing. Deon pulled me up and I got out of the quick sand. Deon and I had a silent conversation. I leaped out to him dodging another pillar that he tried to block me with. He then leaped back and I continued and the ground turned to quicksand so I jumped into the air as a pillar went straight under me and were I was standing. I landed on the pillar and I continued to run straight at him trying to keep his attention on me however he jumped up and was hit by a pillar from behind. It went straight through him. The man turned into rock. We heard more running. It was getting louder and louder. We bolter to the east beach. ¡°I sense the same man coming towards us and there are multiple with the same aura with him. They are probably just a battle technique that he learned. One is the real one they are too much for him to control otherwise.¡± Shen stated as we headed to the beach. I wondered and then I heard a voice in my head saying ¡°a battle technique is something that a mage or warrior mage learns to fight a battle. A magician is broken into how many categories was it? We arrived at the beach and people were fighting something scary it had five faces each had no skin. I was trembling from the sight I locked at its eyes but they weren¡¯t there. You might think I¡¯m too far away from it to see its eyes but they weren¡¯t there. ¡°A changeamorph. This is bad. We need to kill it soon. It feeds of fear and it takes on what you fear the most and keeps getting stronger. If 50 more people come here we will not be able to defeat it. It will be way too strong.¡± CHANGEAMORPH ¡°How do we defeat it? If it gets stronger just by us being here what are we going to do?¡± I asked Shen. I looked at Ace it looks like he was freaked out what was he seeing. I saw a giant monkey like monster it skin was purple and it had green stuff in it. I wanted to puck my insides out but I held it in. ¡°We need to overcome our fear and cut off its food and power supply. If we can do that we will be able to defeat it while it is weak and feeble. We probably have a 10 more minutes before we can¡¯t defeat it. So let¡¯s hurry up and beat the crap out of it.¡± I charged in head first. Instead of being paralysed with fear and giving it more power I decided to do something. I rushed in and joined the fray of people attacking whatever they saw. Some were firing bolts of lightning at its head and some were trying to kill it with sheer force. As long as we weren¡¯t paralysed with fear we will be able to damage it. I looked around and I saw Ace and Deon out cold on the floor next to me. Only a few other were awake and they looked sick. I shock them awake. ¡°Get up.¡± I said. Ace sat up groggy and looked around. I stood and walk off to the side ¡°HOLY SHIT!¡± he screamed. ¡°We¡¯re in the sky. The ground¡¯s so far away.¡± Deon and I ran over and he was right. We were in the sky.
