《The Black Reaper》 Chapter 1 Elijah looked up at the scalding sun, he held his hand up to shield his eyes while he looked up andsighed... he rummagedaround his pockets looking for something, and after a few seconds he looked panicked. After another few seconds he found something in his pockets, and brought it out, it was a pack of menthol cigarettes he looked in the pack to find only one cigarette remaining. "It really is my lucky day." After finding the cigarette he stood there for a minute thinking to himself. "I''m really not addicted I just like to smoke you know..." He lit the cigarette in his mouth, and took a deep inhale of the smoke... after a few seconds he slowly exhaled the minty smoke as it vanished from his face. With the cigarette still in his mouth he slowly walked towards something. Bang, Bang Then again he walked towards something repeating the process. Bang, Bang He took another inhale of the cigarette, and then continued the process a few more times till something spoke out to him. "P-Please dont I beg you!" After hearing this Elijah did not change his expression, and just let out a deep sigh. "Why should I not kill you we are currently in the middle of another World War if I remember correctly right?" The man lying on the ground with blood slowly pouring out of his stomach looked confused. "B-But the war ended a few months ago..." Elijah stood over the man lying on the ground his expression did not change, and took another deep inhale of his cigarette and slowly exhaled... then he threw the cigarette on the ground and crouched down closer to the man. "I guess what you say is correct the war is indeed over, but you see... my duties are not over just as yours arenot, or you would not currently be in this situation you see." The man was trying to do anything he could to not die he looked up towards Elijah, and noticed a tatoo on his upper left arm he could only see the bottom of the tatoo, but the man suddenlylooked nervous. "P-Please Mr.Reaper I beg of you to spare my life I will give you everything that I possess." The corners of Elijah''s mouth quickly twitched for just a second it looked as if a Devil was about to smile, but Elijah kept the same expressionless face and leaned even closer to the man. "It seems you know of who I am, and yet you still ask me this question." The mans face changed to a grim look it seemed that he knew what was going to happen next. "Since you know of who I am you know that I will not spare your life I had orders to kill your group so that is what will happen." Elijah pulled out his Glock19 then pointed it at the mans face. "Pleas-" Before the man could finish his sentence Elijah sent two bullets into his head. Bang,Bang Elijah then took out what looked to be a gernade and threw it a few feet away from him, a deep blue smoke started to flood out of the gernade and into the sky. Elijah searched his pockets once again and pulled out his cigarette package, and looked into it, but it was empty he let out a deep sigh. "I really am a unlucky person." After a while he heard the sound of a helicopter in the distance, and stood up to wait for it to approach. A bright lightsuddenly emerged from underneath of Elijah. He instictively jumped back away from the light quickly, and pulled out his Ak47 then even though he didn''t close his eyes everything went black for a split second. When he looked around he found himself in a different place there was grass all around him which confused him since he was just in a desert-like place. Elijah looked around, and found a note on the ground infront of him he picked it up and read the note. Dear Elijah, I am sorry to say this, but I have transported you to a different world. The reason for this is simple you are no longer needed in your previous world the war has ended, and you are growing bored by the day, and I fear that you will successfully start yet another war even though there is finally starting to be peace around the world. Because of this I moved you to a world that might suit you. - Sincerely God. Chapter 2 A week has passed since I was transported to a different world. After being summoned I was met by the curreny Queen of Esterhaven Louise. She explained to me that theirKingdom was in a dangerous state the former King & Queen (her parents) were assassinatedrecently so she had become the Queen. Esterhaven is surrounded mostly by water so the only way to approach the kingdom is a frontal assault which seems like a strategic advantage. Esterhaven is the biggest Kingdom in the world, but the majoirty of the land in their control is a wasteland where no one lives, and nothing grows due to this the kingdom has the lowest population of the neighboring kingdoms even though its the largest kingdom. I started getting tired as i let out a long yawn. After seeing me starting to look bored the Queen quickly hurried her explanation as she started to fidget. "Within a year or two if nothing happens OUR country will most likely be taken over." "That must suck for you." After hearing this Louise looked really scared. I still didn''t see how this has to do anything. Did God think I was a king in the other world? Obviously he should know I was just a single mercenary I didn''t even lead the mercenary group I belonged to. I guess this country is gonna be overthrown in a few years... I could kill some time on the battlefield then after this country is overthrown I can go, and offer my services to other countries I guess. After taking it out I noticed everything was frozen in place, but I could still move. "Elijah do you want me to kill you now?" I heard a voice it felt familiar even though i''ve never heard it before. I got annoyed just hearing it''s voice. "What did I do wrong my God?" "If you don''t accept her proposal I will kill you right now boy." I let out a sigh, and took a ciggarette out, and lit it... "You know im not really King material though so I didn''t see the point in accepting her proposal." "I agree that you aren''t King material." "Then why are you making me..." "This is just your fate if you succed or fail it does not concern me, but you will become the King of this country after that its up to you what happens." "Fate huh." "Depending on how well you perform in this world I might reward you by bringing you back to your previous world." This God is really annoying... it''s not like i really care about returning though. "What about Calvin? Don''t you want to kill him boy?" "Oh that''s a name I haven''t heard in a while." The corners of my mouth twitched for just a second as if I was about to smile. I brought the cigarette closer to my mouth but all that was left was the end of the cigarette so I threw it away then time began moving again. "Well I guess I will become your King." After saying it the guard quickly put his sword away. I looked towards the young Queen her face turned red. "G-Good our m-marriage will be in a week." Louise left then I was taken to a empty room inside of the castle. All that was inside of it was a bed. "You will be staying here for a week my King." The guard left the room, and I stayed in the room until the marriage ceremoney. Chapter 3 While waiting for the marriage ceremony I stayed inside the room the entire week. Except for a maid bringing me food twice a day no one else came to my room. I took account of everything I had, and layed everything out on the ground. 1 AK47 3 AK47 clips - 90 total bullets 1 Glock 4 Glock magazines - 60 total bullets 1 Combat Knife 1 Stun gernade 1 Frag gernade 1 Lighter 1 Pack of cigarettes - 19 total After accounting for everything I carefully took apart, and cleaned both guns. "Im in a very bad situation..." With only 19 cigarettes left I wont even make it a week... Since I was summoned I haven''t left the castle so I didn''t know for sure, but I could guess from the castle, and King & Queen talk that it definitely wasn''t an advanced wold. A week passed slowly. I was laying on the bed staring up at the ceiling when I heard a knock. "Come in." 2 maids and 3 guards entered the room. "Today is the day you are officially acknowledged as our King." "If you would please get undressed my King." One of the maids was holding an outfit for me to wear. "i''d rather get changed myself so if you could leave the room that would be helpful." "Very well Sir." Everyone hestiantly left the room. I quickly changed, and hid my glock & cigarettes inside of my clothes then called everyone back in. "My King can I move your possessions to your new permanent room for you." "Okay" The two guards took my weapons, and left then I followed the maids to the marriage ceremony. We arrived infront of two huge doors. "Past these doors your Queen awaits." "We look forward to serving you my King" I opened the doorsentering the large church like room. When I walked through the entrance everyones eyes were glued to me. "He doesnt look that reliable." "What was the Queen thinking." "It looks like our country is doomed." I walked down the aisle ignoring the people whispering to each other. I felt alot of killing intent on me. "This could be fun." I arrived next to the princess. She was wearing a white dress. When we first met I didn''t really pay attention to her. She has long blonde hair with bright blue eyes she looked just a little younger then me maybe 16 or 17. As I was looking at her for a while her face got red then she leaned towards me and whispered. "I promise to love you for eternity." The ceremony took a long time then we exchanged a kiss at the end. We were now married, I was now officially the King of this country. After the ceremony I was told the town citizens were all gathered outside of the castle waiting for my speech. We were escorted to a balcony that overlooked the town. People were crowded around as close to the castle as possible looking up towards me as far back as I could see. I really should of paid more attention... "Kill your self now!" I was thinking of what to say when I heard someone yell. I looked towards the voice to see someone dressed up as a guard holding Louise by the neck with one hand, and pointing a dagger towards her neck with the other hand. "If you kill yourself now I will spare the Queens life!" I looked around the balcony the rest of the guards, and maids that were near us were in shock. Louise who had a dagger pointed towards her neck didn''t look panicked she was just staring into my eyes. I let out a sigh... I really need a smoke I only had one in a week im really annoyed right now. "Very well." The man let out a smile. "Good choice I see you are a man after all." In one motion I reached for my pistol that was inside my clothes and pulled it out. Bang Everyone looked confused. After shooting the man in the arm that was holding the dagger he dropped it, and staggered back. I ran up to him grabbed his neck with my right hand then kicked down with full force on his knee. Crack A snapping sound could be heard looks like I broke his leg then I slammed him down towards the ground by his neck. "Really he passed out already..." "Do we have a place to contain him in the castle?" One of the guards answered back saying they had a prison in the basement of the castle. "Good take him there don''t kill him though." "But King he tried to kill you and the Queen!" Man these guards are really stupid. "Just take him to a cell." "Yes King!" I looked back towards the crowd they looked confused it seems they didn''t understand what just happened. "Elijah I knew I could trust you with this country." I was confused for a second Louise called me by my name... Now that I thought about it I never told her my name. I thought about it for a little then let it go. Guess I still have to make a speech. "Well then... it looks like there will be war my citizens, but rejoice this is a great opportunity from here on out things are going to get fun. Things are going to change if its for the better or worse it is up to your effort." I wonder if it was a good speech. With that I left the balcony it was finally night it was a long day. Me and Louise were escorted to our room. The room was triple the size of the room that I was in the past week I guess this is the master bedroom huh. I looked around the room in the middle of it was a huge bed it looked bigger then a King size. In the corner of the room I found my things laid out on a table its a good thing they didn''t forget anything. I was checking over my things as Louise was talking to the maid then entered the room. "Now all thats left is our first night." I turned around to look at Louise her dress was on the floor, and she was under the covers of the bed. I guess I forgot about this was apart of a marriage... I took my shirt off, and got into the bed with her. Louise was staring at me as I got into the bed. "A-All those scars are you alright?" I examined my body. I didn''t see anything abnormal I had bullet wounds, and scars scattered over my body. Wasn''t this normal I thought at least the people I knew were similar. She reached her hand out putting it over my left arm. "Is this a brand?" She thought my tattoo was a brand. I guess there aren''t tattoos in this world, or mine was just different to what she has seen It seems. I thought about it for little. "I guess you could call it a brand." "Are you free now?" Was I free? I haven''t thought about that for a long time. I was forced into being a soldier at a young age during those early times I probably thought alot about being free, but I don''t remember thinking about it since then. "Maybe." A few minutes of silence passed then it looks like she resolved something inside of her. "I-Im ready Elijah please be gentle its my first time." I hesitated for a moment. It wasn''t my first time, but I never liked sex with a virgin they would end up being too clingy to me the next day. The older women in my group would just come, and go whenever they wanted just using me to release their stress it was alot easier... I dont know how much time passed. A door opened then another boy was thrown into the room he looked a few years older then I heard a voice. "Whoever comes out alive can become my soldier good luck boys." He held up a dull rusted knife showing it to us then threw it into the room. The door was shut then everything went back to being black. "..." How did I end up in this situation I thought... I tried to remember something, but I couldn''t then I heard something moving closer to move. "Please die for me!" The boy shouted then I felt a pain in my stomach. My mind went blank. The next thing I knew the door opended up again. "Very good boy!" "..." "I expect great things from you." "..." "Hmm I guess im being impolite I haven''t introduced myself my name is Calvin. Your name will be Elijah boy. Congratulations on becoming my soldier!" "Y-Yes Sir." "Very good here have a reward." Calvinput a cigarette in my mouth then lighted it. I took a puff of the cigarette then started coughing.
