《Aurora Eclipse》 Meeting with a Big Wig? "Eh?" That angelic face full of confusion was cute too. Every expression I''ve seen on her face was nothing short of breathtaking. Of course it belonged to an angel. Halo, wings, and a dress of white, everything was emmaculate and perfect. All except the confusion that obviously came from the lack of knowing what to do with me. Glancing left and right, I could see that each line was easily progressing up to the wall of beauties. New people would pop in at the end of each line with a flash of light. The the front all had a beauty happily working through each. Strangely, there were many species other than Humans. And there were lines spread out further than the eye can see. "EH? How?! How can it be zero?" I glanced back at her trembling voice. She seemed to be scrolling through another screen, desparately looking for something. Ah, she stopped. What''s with those eyes? Be careful, you don''t want them to fall out. It almost ruins your beauty. She stood up and moved away from the glass? And opened a, ah, a hidden door? "P-Please come with me." She held the door open as I passed through. It seemed like I had a special circumstances, though I wonder why? Ah, those beautiful legs. That body. I have no issue following such enchanting curves. "Here, please enter." She stopped in front of a door and bowed demurely. How long were we walking? Looking back, I can''t even see the end. Too bad. I opened the door- "Kyahahaha! Oh-Oh-OH! NYAHAHAHAHA! Ehe~ Fufufufu~ Definitely saving that! " -To the most mesmerizing beauty. Curled up, with her armos around her bent legs, in what seemed like a bean-bag chair of unkown material, was a peerlesly stunning woman that seemed to be just hitting the prime of her life. There were no visible features that could be used to distinguish her apart from being a Human, though she was wearing something similar to a toga. Rather, weren''t all of the angels also wearing something like toga for clothes? Hearing the door shut loudly behind me, the enchantr- ehem - young woman turned with a raised a delicate brow under golden hair. Then it seemed as if the world stopped as she smiled. She was both elegant and cute with nearly every motion. But why do I feel like her eyes are like those of a predator? "AH!" A wicked grin quickly turned coy. She glanced at something in front of her - a blue pop up screen full of strange letters? "Well, I guess another one has appeared. Congradulations for achieving Zero Karma! Even something as simple as returning a dropped book is enough to give several hundred Karma, and yet you have done the near impossible of dieing with your Karma entirely neutral!" That... With my life, it doesn''t really surprise me? "But, why am I here?" She tilted her head, exposing small pointed ears. "Ah, that''s because I mandated it. I''m a goddess you know? Not like the old man, he just sleeps all the time anymore. He takes care of the big matters, leaving the rest to his children. Hnnn~, that reminds me, what happened to Serepha? She hasn''t come back? It doesn''t really take a millennium to learn the habits of Terrial''s." Huh? Those incredible silver eyes glanced back at me, quickly returning interest to what I think she sees as a toy? Am I really a toy to her? Gyah! That''s what it feels like when she stares! Don''t giggle! "Pft~ you''re funny. It''s interesting how you''re able to understand how I feel with a glance. Though I doubt you would be capable of it with many races." SO I REALLY AM A TOY TO YOU?! "Ah~ don''t worry, you''re here because you won." Won? My Karma? But it''s zero? Wait, if you can gain, you can lose too? So rather than zero, it''s neutral? "Yes! Get it? You are absolutely neutral. That''s the stance needed as a divinity. You have to be neutral. Balance is key. With too much in either direction, life would not continue functioning properly. It can flow to either side, which initiates progress, but too much is entirely detremental. With everything positive, life stagnates, while negative becomes pure chaos."If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. Wait, wait, she can read my mind?! Is... is she pouting..? Too cute! Way too cute! "Of course, dummy! I thought it was obvious! Hmph! Lets just get on with it. What do you want for your reincarnation? What type of world? What kinds of blessings? There''s a limit with various dependencies, but it''s not too hard to accomodate most blessings a person desires." Blessings? Reincarnate? I get to live again?! Is that what those beautiful lips are saying? The beauty - Goddess..sama? - sighed. "Yes, yes, you get to reincarnate into a world of your choosing, with blessings - or curses - of your choosing. Usually people get some say in their next reincarnation, positively or negaatively, depending upon their Karma. But you''re luckily Neutral. You get to choose whatever you want. However-" That''s incredible! I want to, no, I NEED TO! "Hey?" Something interesting. A new world, a new life. "Hello?" A place where I can do what I want, how I want! "Hey?!" No more monotony! No mo-" "AHEM!" Oops... She''s irritated. But with that reddened face, isn''t it also a cute look? No, just absolutely adorable? "Yes! You can choose what you want, and I''ll take care of the details. The deal with Neutrality is that there is a always a negative for every positive. Many will take care of themselves, already having a downside, but don''t worry about those; I''ll take care of them." Ah~ that sweet smile. I feel like getting lost in her expressions. But why do I feel cold sweat forming..? "So, choose what you would like, so I can reincarnate you?" "Eh? AH! A place, I can choose the world, right?" You said that, right? I''ll take the annoyed face as confirmation. I apologize. "A world of swords and magic. Races of every kinds. Dungeons to explore. Creatures to defeat. I want to go to a world like that." She opens up a new screen under the original, and does something to it with her fingers? The first is mine, right? So the new one is my new life? There''s a strand of blue linking them, so probably? Eh, done? Why are you loo- "Next request? That can''t be all, right?" Guess I''m really annoying you, huh? Sorry. I apologize. I''m already speaking candidly with her, a goddess. Eh, I don''t even know her name?! Wait, don''t look at me like that! Sorry! Okay, okay, next right? "Um, I''d like to be able to use magic. Not just simple magic, but any and every kind. Even the most powerful magic should be possible. I''d like it to be easy and wordless." She tilts her head - cutely - for a moment in thought, before dextrously twisting her fingers around that blue screen again. "Narrow down the species a bit. Add a blessing of powerful magic and another of prowess, so no ritual, words, cirlces, runes, or items are required." Note to self: don''t make Goddess-sama mad. "Not worried about strength either..." What was that last part? Oh, is she done already? Lets just shoot then. "Powerful senses would be great. Hearing, smell, being able to see at night, stuff like that would help in any situation. I''d also like to be adaptable in what I do, so even if I can''t do something at first, I can eventually. It would also help if I don''t naturally come off as a threat to creatures, so I could sneak by what I don''t want to fight." Her beautiful smile widens with that, so maybe I should just continue? "A body that can move quickly and easily. Definitely need something like instant regeneration? Also don''t want to die again, so a body that can resurrect, even if there is nothing left of my body, would be incredible. It would be nice to be able to control my age too, so I could appear young. Maybe you could just tack shapeshifting on as well? OH, and it needs to stop aging around 21, or whenever it hits the prime years?" Don''t want to live as a decrepit old man that can''t die... She gigles melodically. I feel like melting just from hearing this laugh. It''s nothing like when I walked in. Can she just.. Eh?!? S-Stop looking at me like I''m a bug! I apologize Goddess-Sama! "......Anything else?" Maybe? Definitely! "It has to be attractive. Incredibly so. A body with an appearance that can easily attract women. Hmm... I think that''s all? No, that screen thing you use. I want that too, so I can see my progress and stuff. And maybe you could let me skip the whole childhood thing though, and simply reincarnate me into the body? ..Okay, that''s everything I can think of." Her glare and frown - still beautiful - disappear with the last request, obviously thinking. "Well, the body definitely needs to be born to be truly native, but I could simply put you to sleep until a specific age or event. The blessings would only activate if needed. Once you awaken, every blessing and ability would quickly follow. Yes, lets do that." That soft smile returned... And twisted slightly? Eh, is it my imagination that her eyes look as if she caught her prey? What on earth is with this bopolar goddess? NO, I''m sorry! I''ll stop now Goddess-Sama! Just stop looking at me like I''m trash! She rolled her eyes and tapped the screen one last time, her smile quickly returning. "Done. I even added my own personal~ blessing, since it coincided with one of your requests. Hope enjoy your new life. I know I''ll enjoy watching you live it. Fufufu~" ....huh? Wait, she hasn''t changed positions since I''ve walked in! I haven''t even seen her-!! "Bye Bye!" With that she pressed the screen one last time. Everything twisted and darkened in an instant. Fluffiness is Dangerous? "#-ng ~ ..!..n''t ju-...^...-..-lled her! Sh-....-..mpor-ant! Ne-t time I''ll-..........ether, so we can go!" Ouw~! Why does my head hurt so much?! And would everyone be quiet! It huuuuurts! ..ah, it''s clearing up? What happened..? Is it dark out? I can''t see... But my bed should be softer than this? But.. I don''t have a wood floor? It''s so- *Crack!* OW! ...-uncomfortable? Am I moving? What? Ngh~?!?! My arms wont move?! Legs are free though? What the hell is this?! I try to move, but can only roll ov-"Kyaaaouwch!?!"My butt! My butt huuuurts! Why?! "D''aw! Shaddup in thar'' already! Or I''ll hit you again, ya'' hear?! Gya!" A gruff voice called out from... outside wherever the hell I am? "I already said not to, ya big oaf! You nearly killed her last time. She dies, you die. GOT IT?" A more refined voice.. reprimanded? Thankfully the pain dissipated rather quickly. What did I do to hurt my tailbone so much? No, the situation, I need to focus. This doesn''t seem like something simple. And I thought I was supposed to ''wake up''? Shouldn''t I get those memories from before? Nono, maybe this is natural? But I can''t move around, there are wood walls surrounding me; it''s quite cramped, almost painfully so... "Still, twas luck ''dat we found ''er chasin ''wabbits! We prepared all ''dat crap, and ''da bounty ''racticaly walked inta'' us!" Eh? No, didn''t I die? Lines... Angel.... Goddess..? Then.. "Bye Bye!"? So I reincarnated? But no new memories? No idea who I am, where I am - and what is that stupid thing constantly tickling me?! "Yea, yea, and you nearly killed her when she bit you, now be quiet! We aren''t out of the country yet! And these creatures could be anywhere!" "..Fine!" So we are travelling? But why am I in a crate?! And what ''bounty''?! Huh? AM I A FUGITIVE?! ........That can''t be right? Actually, like this, and with them running, aren''t they ''bad guys''? Huh? Are they kidnappers? .....Impossible. They''re just smuggling me, right? "Still, can''t wait ta'' get paid. Gonna get a mountan a'' gold for dis one ta'' da'' slava''~ Gyahaha-YEOWCH!" Slava... "I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP! We''re supposed to be simple merchants! Or do you wana get caught?!" Slaver... "NO! No ''tellin WHAT ''dem beasts ''ll do if you piss ''em off! I ''ear stories..." They''re slavers..? "Then be quiet!" The non-bandity talking one hissed. THEY''RE SLAVERS?! WHAT KIND OF LUCK DO I HAVE?! "Yessir." No, can''t panic! Actually.. they sound like idiots? Isn''t that a good thing? ..But isn''t this bad? It''s dark and hard in here, and I can''t really move well either. Arms? Tied behind me. Legs? Tied together. Weird things itching behind me? Legs getting ticklish... Ignore them! What do I do? I got ''blessed'', right? Right?! Magic. I can do magic! Lets escape the idiot duo then! Wait... can I even use magic yet? I mean, I can feel something weird inside my body, now that I''m trying to feel it. I can worry about everything else later. If I got what I asked for, then I should have magic, and lots of it! So, I just need to push it out of my body... oooh~ So easy! But I need to break the crate, and escape. How to do that without hurting myself? Wait, don''t I have regeneration? So, what do I care? But... lets avoid fire, and just blast it all away! Imagining the magic power turning into a ball of dense water turned imagination into reality. Incredble, magic works here! With this, I can do anything! Mwahahaha~ Now blast away the top of the box!
Water Manipulation - Acquired
Need to blast away an annoyance? Drench a battlefield? Create a storm in the desert to cool off? Flood a cave? Maybe you just want to see a cute girl in wet clothes? With this skill, you are capable of using mana to create and manipulate water for your own needs.
*BWOOM!*Shhhhh~* "GYAA!" The bandit-idiot yelled out as a sudden explosion of water burst forth. ........Eh? There wasn''t just a hole at the top of my - the - crate, but the entire top ripped off! Taking a glance around gave away the fact that it probably blasted everything above and around the crate too. It looked like a shower of debris, rather than rain. And now I''m soaked too! C-Cold! "What happened..?" The calm one questioned. Oh yea, I gotta get away! Without really thinking about it, I shifted onto my feet and hopped off what was obviously a half-destroyed wagon. Ignoring the wreckage, I quickly ran off towards the surrounding forest. "AH, she''s a'' runnin!" "Then grab her before she gets to the forest! NOW, you big oaf!" Heh, it was kinda fun~ Especially since the idiot duo were obviously scrambling to catch me. Though it''s a bit hard to stay balanced with my hands tied, it''s actually much easier than I thought it would be? A quick glance back showed the big one slipping on a piece of wreckage while the other simply gave me the stink eye. Nyaha~ Don''t worry, I''ll get you back soon enough! *Thwack* Ah, a piece of wood hit his head. AHAHAHAHAHA! How high did some of this crap go?! That was perfect! Ah, they''re already out of sight. They really were idiots, huh? Mn~ now I gotta figure out what to do next. Still, it feels wierd to have such a high voice. Maybe it''s just because I''m a child? Compared to the idiots, I''m definitely small, so that has to be the case. The way I''m moving feels weird too, and my butt feels really weird. Strange how easy it is to move around the forest too, and it feels like I know how to get back really easily? No, not the time. Prioritize, prioritize~ First would be getting my hands free. Should have done that inside the crate, but who knows how disasterous that would have turned out, right? ..What if the water ball hadn''t penetrated the crate, though? Or if it was more than I thougth? Or if it didn''t... Moving on!Stolen story; please report. Dodge left of the tree, run, run, dodge right~ This is kinda fun? Is that.. white? Rabbit? Cute! Rabbit! Follow the rabbit! Follow~? It stopped! Ahaha~ Got You~!? Not... Stupid rope! Hmph! Oh, right... Well, I''m probably far enough away, for now? Looking around, all I can see is a beautiful forest. Brown trunks of trees, green grass and leaves, and various bushes of various colors dotting the area. It''s really pretty and fresh, nothing like the polluted cities back home. Sighing, I move to a nearby tree and settle down with my shoulder against it to think. Even if I try to use mana to get my hands free, its not like I''m confident about it. Rather, that stunt with the watter ball - bullet? - was dumb luck. For something like cutting rope I can''t even see, I''d probably kill myself with even attempting it... What to do~? Itchy itchy ear! Ahh~ thats better. Never knew scratching ears could feel so amazing~ Nnn~ So much better! Eh? How did I - MY HANDS ARE FREE! How?! Twisting around, I see the rope chewed through, and the cause - bunny-chan! - still nibbling on it... "Heh~ Lucky! Huh? Two... three? Four, five, eh, how many of you are there?!" I don''t even know how long I was thinking for, but it couldn''t have been too long. Yet, somehow, I''m surrounded by a bunch of cute little bunnies! Left, right, on my lap, WHERE DID YOU ALL COME FROM?! Ahh~ Who care! Cute! "You''re all too cute! Thank you~" I pet the little one still nibbling on the rope... and the other on my lap already had my other hand somehow? Mnn~ can I just cuddle into this? WHAT AM I THINKING?! *Crack* Eh? Why are you all running? All of a sudden, the bunny bed - what the heck am I supposed to call a circle of bunnies anyways?! - scattered in fright. Why are they leaving me~? "Found ''er boss!" "Kyaaa!" Without even any time to react, pain enters my side as the ground twists and flies under me. Or am I the one flying? Needless to say, I hit the ground again, and it hurts! It feels like someone took a hammer to my side! "Ouchie~ Hiiaa!" Then the ground disappeared from under me again, but this time it feels as if I''m in the hands of a brutal giant, enormous hands gripping my head so hard that he can pick me up, while flatting my ears so painfully! "Gyot er, heheh!" AND HIS BREATH STINKS! Eh, the pain is already gone? Didn''t I ask for instant regeneration, or something? Go Goddess! Opening my eyes, I come face to face with- "Eeep! Ugly!" No! Don''t growl! Scary! Too ugly! Too scary! I try to push him away, but it doesn''t do any good. Am I pushing against a stone wall?! WHAT ARE YOU?! Get away, Get Away, GET AWAY! "Stupid fox, standin in ''da middle of so many - *cough* - righ'', sorry boss. Dumb little toy, made ''da boss mad." Ugly shifts his head to the other voice, who was straining a frown. Despite the ''boss'' wearing nicer clothes, they both looked like they came from the middle ages. Even like that, he looks normal. Maybe too normal? Is he so normal that he''s abnormal?! IS HE THE ONE I NEED TO BE AFRAID OF?! "Hehe, dat''s da look a baby vixen like ya needs ta'' have. Mehbe'' yeh'' should beg fer mama now? Gehehe." No! NO! I don''t care if I die, but I don''t want to be near these two again! Get away! No, I need to make them go away! Like that crate! THE CRATE! Water ball! I need another! Another water ball at the abnormal! GO AWAY! Abnormal''s eyes widen in fright. "HEY, STOP HE-" *SHWOOPLASH* Don''t know what happened, but I ignore the explosion of blue and red that exists where abnormal was, and do it again to the monster holding me. The water ball - smaller than before, as I try to make it denser - forms between us, even as the idiot looks back at me with anger then fear. And then it shoots in - through - his chest. There''s a hole the size of his fist where I shot, and he coughs. Blood seeps from his closed lips and he drops me while falling backwards. Thankfully, I landed on all fours, however all I can do is blink and stare. "Wha-?" Did I? What did... The abnormal too, where is he? All I see is pieces of... The big guy is...? "I... Killed? No. N-No. NoooooOOOO! I wanted you away! Go away! Get away, go, leave me alone! GO AWAY! Hyaaaa!" Twisting my body, I run from the obvious carnage. "Get away! Gotta get away! *Hic* Get away *Hic* from me!" I look back, but they''re not there. Am I safe? I look forward, but there''s blood on the grass where I''m going. Run! I turn and run! I need to run! GET AWAY! I Didn''t mean to do it! Is that a hand? "Kyaa! *Hic* No! Get away!" I twist my body and run. "Leave me alone!" Blood. It''s everwhere! Why?! "*Hic* Why wont you leave me alone?!" "Ah..." My legs wont move. "Haa haa" And run. "Haa *Hic* Haaa" Is it dark? How long have I been running? Where am I? Did I.. Get away? Darkness... Can I just? No, gotta move. Get... . . . So warm... So cozy... So fluffy~ Such a pleasant bed. Mnn~ "Tweet! Twittereet!" Bird? It''s loud... Don''t wana wake up~ "TWEEET!" "Kyaa!" My hands immediately jerk, forcing my body up. "I''M UP!" For some reason, I feel the fluffy bed shift and disappear away. "Eh?" My bleary eyes quickly focus to find rabbits, squirrels - is that a skunk?! - and even some strange furry creatires I''ve never seen before running away from me. Some only move a short distance, however. "That''s... weird?" Looking around, I could only get more confused. "Where am I? No, how did I get here?" What happened? "TSSsss ouw~ my head?" It h-hurts! Why? No, why does it matter that I''m in a forest? Didn''t I get reincarnated? This is a different world! And I have magic! "Magic~ Magic~ New world~ New life~" Don''t know why, but I just felt like singing~ It was kind of cute how the animals gathered around me again. Mn?! Is that a wolf? Eh, eh, eh? Looking around, the other animals don''t even care? No, they''re just cutely only paying attention to me? Ah, he''s leaving? Was it because I stopped? Sorry, wolfie, but you startled me! Wait! Forget the animals! I have magic! Ehehe~ Now, how do I use it? Feel... I can feel that energy inside me. So, that''s magic power? Maybe I have to pull it out... in front of me... and do what? Twist it into something? An element, maybe? Water is the safest, so lets make a water ball? Following my self-created process, I imagine the energy changing into water. For some reason, I feel as if knowing the structure of water helps the process, but that''s something I''d have to test. Though, suprisingly, water quickly emerges in front of me from nothingness. That''s so- so-so- ..."AMAZING!" Okay, have magic, can create water, now what? Shoot *shiver* it at something? NO! ...Weird, why does that thought make my body feel cold? Isn''t that something basic? Well, there''s no rush. I can figure out how the elemnts work first. Lets try something with wind next? Just let go of the water- *SPLASHhhhh* C-C-C-COLD! What was that?! All I did was let go of the water and it exploded! Well, at least I get a pleasant view of the tree tops from this angle on my back... But, really, was that water condensed? It was just supposed to be a small orb of water! AH? Aww~, all the cute animals went away... Sigh~ "This definitely has to do with my wish for strong mana. But really, that''s a lot of water. I think it soaked the whole area... Oh yea! Can''t I view my stats, or something? ..How do I do that? It was definitely a Blue Window, right? Maybe Status Window? Ohh~"

"Hwaaa~!?" Stats... What''s with my stats?! Are they really that high? But... did that crazy water ball really only cost so little mana? I did ask for a lot, though. But compared to the rest, why is my strength and vitality so low?! ...I feel like I''m missing something. Guess I''ll just have to figure it out as I go? Moving on, moving up~, though the ''amnesia'' bit is strange, I''ll worry about that later. Mnn~? So my name is Aurora? Though, that does sound familiar. Isn''t that.. eh? Not, human? Not.... Sex Female
Nothing.... *Thump* Dont play with your food~! *gurrururru* "Haa~" Step by step, I go further and further. Soft grass under my feet. Gentle wind rustling the leaves above. Nature surrounds me with an incredibly fresh presence. There are so many pleasant sights in the forest. Animals are unafraid of me, allowing an unfiltered view of untainted wilderness. So many places to explore, so much to investigate, so much- *GURuRrurur* "And still nothing! Why isn''t there anything to eat?!" Crying out, I startle a cute bunny away, while a few birds take flight. Pressing a hand to my stomach sooths the empty feeling for a moment, but it does nothing to get rid of my hunger. I stare at the little white bundle of cuteness as it stops and eyes me again. For a short instant, I thought about rabbit stew; my body instantly felt sick. Shaking away the thought, the hunger continued its haunting of my flesh. "Haa~ why me? Wake up in the middle of nowhere, find out I''m a little girl, a fox girl at that." A shiver went down my spine, fur fluffing in response, as I think how this body and appearance would be taken in my previous life. While I haven''t seen myself - other than the waist length hair the color of snow, fluting down my back and tail - simply existing would cause pandemoneum for otaku and perverts alike. That would be hell. Not to mention those blessings. DAMN THAT GODDESS! I knew this was too good to be true! She never even gave her name, so I can''t pray or curse her! What would I do if... "Haa~" Granted, this is probably my own fault. I asked for them, and put myself in this situation. DOn''t know how I got where I am, but... If only I could find a road. But a day of walking found me nowhere! Absolutely nowhere! No idea where I am, how I got there, or even wha - "IS THAT A ROAD?!" Creeping between a few trees is a length of brown. Running forwards, I quickly find a dirt path. Yes! There is civilization! And that means food! Just have to follow the road! Left has nothing, right has... Blinking, I rub my eyes, then look again. "Is that a carriage? The heck happened to it?" Shaking my thoughts, I run up to the half-destroyed wreackage of wood and tarp. It almost looks like something blew up inside it, but that would have set it on fire. Right? Careful of the splintered wood, I go up to the main part. It''s still properly on four wheels, but the frame is somehow destroyed. One side has a whole portion gone, which obviously separated what would have held the horse in place. DId it run off? The other side doesn''t look like it was affected, just missing, but it could have simply been pulled off with the horse? Crawling up into the main portion, I look around the crates for food. Some have easy to open lids, but others are held closed tightly with nails. Grimacing, I think about using magic before dismissing it. There is no telling what might happen; my first attempt at magic quickly coming to mind. *Grrrrrrr* Both hands quickly flew to my stomach at the sound. Weird though, it didn''t sound like it came from my stomach? Sighing again for the umpteenth time, I close my eyes and sniff for food. There seems to be some scent of something that could be food. Despite it being my first time trying this, it seems so easy. Although there is anothre smell that I really REALLY don''t like. It makes my body tremble for some reason? *GRRRRRRRR* "HYAA!" Twisting about mid-air in fright, I quickly found myself face-to-drooling-snout with a black wolf-like creature. One several times larger, teeth far sharper, and eyes much hungrier than I''d like. Instantly, I could feel all the fur on my body - standing rigid. A ''blessing'' quickly came to mind.

Your spirit will naturally grow an shape accordingly with your physical body. This comes with a vast increase in available internal mana.
But... *Shiver* *GRRRRRRRR* BUT! *Tremble* *RRRRRRRRR* "KYaaaaaaaaaa~!" I turn tail and run! There is no way I want to be eaten! Before even thinking about it, I twirl away from the gaping maw. Another shiver runs its course as the tip of one of my tails - I have two, but I don''t want EITHER eaten! - feels like it had some fur ripped out. Taking a quick leap of faith, I hope over the side of the destroyed cart, opposite of the demon. Not use to my speed and strength, I end up much further than I thought, and almost slip on the large piece of wood I land on. But, to keep momentum, I twist and push off - tails stailizing every motion. The wood shoots back as I fly forwards, and I hear a yelp! Yes! My feet hit solid ground and I sprint as fast as possible. I don''t dare look back, despite having the feeling that I''m moving much faster than any professional runner ever could. Can a car run this fast? Of course it can! I''m not THAT fa-The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. *SNAP* "HYaaa!" MORE TAIL FUR?! NO THINKING! RUN RUN RUN! ESCAPE! Is that heat it''s BREATH on my TAIL?! Need an escape! Looking left and right, I look for a small opening between trees. Thankfully, there were many trees huddled closely together, and I take a dive to the side of the road, launching between them. Quickly, before it could maneuver around them, I jump as high as possible, grabbing a branch, then fling myself higher to another, and up as high as I think the branches can handle without breaking under my weight. "Haa, Haa, Haa" Looking down, the demon is cocking its head left and right. Does it not understand that it can''t get me up here? I escaped! Now what? What can you do now?! Stupid mutt! Large... Evil... Powerfull... Mutt? Why do you look like you''re going to charge the tree? "Don''t..." It runs... and bashes against the tree! *CRACK*CREAK*CRICKLE~* No, way?! I-It''s leaning, no, falling? The tree is FALLING from a single shove?! "Hyeaaaaaaaaaa~" WHY ME?! I cry. I can already feel the tears. All I can do is hold oooooon~! *FWAAAAAAAAAAASH*CRASHhhhhh!* I push myself up from inside the branches. Alive. I''m alive?! "I''m ALIVE! Hahaha-" *Grrrrrrr* "Hiiiiiiii" Instantly, every single fur is standing on end as I turn, face-to-drooling-snout. Red demonic eyes send fear through every fiber of my being, and I can''t even muster feeling through my legs anymore. It''s snout opens, revealing those razer-sharp teeth. Unable to stand it anymore, I look away and prepare for the pain. *Fw-Fw-Fw-FWISHK* . And wait... . ....And wait? . "Hey, are you okay?!" A melodic voice called out, startling me to awareness again. Looking around, I quickly find the de- beast, laying on its side. Several large lances of ice are impaled within its side and head. Two are impaling leg joints on one side. And the last is, is, in the heart? Maybe? How precise! "Hey! Are you in there?! I''m not crawling to get you out, you know!" Blinking several times, I refocus on the voice. It''s hard to properly make out the features of my saviour. But, to crawl out.. Uuuuu... Forcefully ignoring the trembling still hampering my new body, I use the ice spear in the beast-demon''s head to get leverage, and crawl onto it while swallowing heavily. Actually, what the heck is it..?

That was a WARG?! A-a-a-and those stats?! Why are they so high?! Studying the random popup, I crawl over the creature to get out of the brush. It takes a moment to finally get out of the debris from the fallen tree and get around into a situation where I can meet the voice. But it wasn''t just that one person. There were actually three. The first being a female with pointed ears, long golden hair, and oceanic eyes. She had some kind of staff with a crystal on top, wearing long fluttery robes that covered her top, with an inner portion that opened up in the front while the cloth clung tightly around her sides and back down to her hips, where they had anothre outer layer floating about. Aside from flats for shoes, her legs were bare, but the long cloth covered most portions, but that changed enticingly as she shifted positions. Strangely, despite her breasts being mostly covered by loose cloth, it didn''t deter from the beauty she quite easily displayed. A beautiful mage-type? She had a soft smile and eyes that seemed to sparkles as I glanced at her. Another behind her was another long-ear, a man with typical knight combination of sword and armor. Red hair, green eyes, well built and definitely strong, yet no hint of overabundant muscle, this man was definitely top-tier. His armor was actually stylish enough, probably specifically designed for him, with metal only covering the more vital portions of his body, along with other areas that could be used for defense like shoulders, shins, and forearms. It was thin, rather than bulky. His sword was an exquisite sheath that matched the armor perfectly. Almost makes me think of the hero from a story? Maybe a noble? Or is he really ''the hero''? Couldn''t be... Last was a cute little fairy, sitting on the elfen beauties'' shoulder. Short sky-blue hair to her shoulders, and a strange flower-like short dress covered her torso. It was hard to tell from a distance, but she was definitely cute. "Kyaaaa! So adorable!" In an instant, the fairy flew up and around me several times, randomly touching my tail, head, here, there, before finally settling on top of my head. I could only blink several times at the randomness, before settling on the golden beauty quickly approaching. The elf woman smiled with a soft expression, kneeling in front of me. "Are you okay now?" With the adrenaline leaving my system, I can feel the fatigue creeping in. Waking up after passing out from my discovery. Checking my blessings, before quickly ignoring their very existence in hopes they disappear. Walking all day, trying to find some form of civilization, running for my life, nearly geting squashed by a tree, facing t-the d-d-d-demon... "SHhhhh, you''re safe now." Warm arms pull me into a gentle embrace. "You can cry if you need." So soft~ So gentle~ And she smells so~ good~ Ah~ No reason to cry like this... Actually, wouldn''t I have been okay anyways? Yea, who cares if it could have killed me! I would have been fine! And I can use magic! If I used that water blast, I could have killed it myself! The man simply cocked his head and walked slowly to stand behind her. *GRURurrurrururuu* The man quickly takes a battle stance, checking his surroundings, while the woman holding me strengthens her embrace. It took a second to realize the loss of weight from my head, letting me know the tiny creature was likely also checking the surroundings. "I don''t see anything." The redhead speaks up. "Nothing dangerous is close..." Fair-chan spoke up. The blond stays quiet, but shakes her head when they look towards us. I could only flush and press myself into her chest. Despite my situation, other priorities have popped up. And this is much more important... So I try speaking, though I realize that it came out really muffled with my position. This brings attention to me again. I don''t think they heard it. "What was that?" The beauty asks gently. Nope... Why does this have to be so embarassing?! Muu~ "If you want to say something, speak up." *SWACK* The man speaks up again, only to get cuffed by the fairy. "Be nice! She just got attacked!" Uwa~ Strong Fairy! "Erm, can you please tell us again?" I pull back and look at the gentle beauty. Were her first words a lie? her demeanor is so different now! I don''t think she knew I was a child when she said they wouldn''t come in after me... But would they really not? No, it doesn''t matter, they saved me. Either way, closing my eyes as heat floods my cheeks, I can only endure the embarrassment. "Can I please have something to eat?" *GruRUrruru~* Fluffiness is Dangerous~ New Direction Rewrite! "NNnng~!" Ow ow OUW! Why does my head hurt so much?! IT HUUUUURRTS~ "~ng ~ ....n''t ju-......-..-lled her!" Voices..? OUW~ CAN''T they SHUT UP?! "Sh-....-..mpor-ant! Ne.. time I''ll-..........ether, so we can go!" Ahh~ its.. clearing up? No, they''re muffled? Why is it so dark, though? AH! It doesn''t hurt so much anymore? Trying to shift around, it became obvious the pain was no longer there. It also brought up a few strange and worrisome facts. ...Why can''t I move my arms out from behind me? No, why am I stuck in a dark box made of.. wood? Am I in a crate?! Shifting around, he could only feel wood against his bare arms and legs. It was really dark, but a few cracks in the wood did seem to shimmer with promise of light outside. Unfortunately, it was really hard to move with both arms stuck behind him while inside such a small space. A sudden shift caught his attention. Hobbled steps clattered while wood creaked and shook. It felt much like a far less comfortable ride in a truck bed. Worse even, with being force to endure it on his side. There was a wetness in his hair, and a slight smell of blood that made him even more uneasy. This... why does this feel like a kidnapping? And I feel small. Really small... So the reincarnation really happened? He swalled a little in excitement. For some reason, he felt really happy knowing that despite the developing situation. Even if he was kidnapped, it shouldn''t be too hard to escape. Right..? I should be able to use magic now, right? So I could easily get out if I need to. Okay, first thing''s first. I need to know what I''m capable of. That goddess gave me the window thingy, right? Sooo~ Ah!

Reading through the blessings, a small smile grew on his -her...- face, barely visible with the blue screen lighting up the crate''s inner area. The requests were truly granted, and almost exactly what he asked for. After the first few, however the smile slowly reversed in angle. A nervous swallow followed reading ''Small Build''. It listed the effect he - she - had asked for, but not in the way it might have been expected. ''Mana Body'' was definitely interesting. There were lots of theories about souls, but the idea that they were indestructable was one of the biggest. So it should be possible to always exist, so she wouldn''t have to worry about getting killed. Not that he - she - wanted to die... The sense of dread built up further as he read the name of the next two blessings. While he - she - expected the first, with the change there would be many unintended consequences. No, they were intended, at least by the goddess, he - she - could easily link that together. The last, however, only barely fit into what he asked. But it also fit what the damnable goddes said. While in that room with her, she was practically irresistable, and that was without a physical body. He could still think, but it always returned to her beauty. If she had some form of aura attraction, it would easily make sense. And she gave me the same stupid blessing? As a GIRL?! WHY???? I''ll get you back for this! ...At least I have a decent name. He - no, she - was a girl now. While humble, he didn''t think himself dumb. Rather, he was just bored or lazy usually. Rejecting an integral part of your existence is definitely bad for the mind and body. So despite not wanting the change to even exist, it had to be taken into account for current and future actions. So he - she! - knew it had to be something to he had to get used to. Although... if I''m cute enough, it should be much easier to... Ahaha! Wait... Ehehehe~? Mnn~ A large crack and jump tossed her around within the crate, where she unfortunately hit the top and fell on her back. Wide-eye, she felt pain rushed up her spine and arms as a sharp jolt from a previously unfelt tail bent awkwardly and bound arms were pressed in a protested direction. Her mouth opened as it fully registered. "Kyaaaouwch?!?! My BUTT! It HUUUUURTS! EiyaaAAAAAAA!" "D''aw! Shaddup in thar'' already! Or I''ll hit you again, ya'' hear?! Gya!" A gruff voice called out from... outside the crate? "I already said not to, ya big oaf! You nearly killed her last time. She dies, you die. GOT IT?" A more refined voice said, before a smack resounded. Trembling, she forcfully moved of off the painful areas, where they prompty flooded with a relieving rush of something. Despite feeling as if the pain had existed for a minute, it had only lasted for a small moment. She - she! - yes, she, took a deep breath. "Still, twas luck ''dat we found ''er chasin ''wabbits! We prepared all ''dat crap, and ''da bounty ''racticaly walked inta'' us!" Okay, no sitting on the tail! That HURT! And my poor arms... At least he healing was quick. SO glad I asked for that. But now... I need to escape. But how...? And what wabbits? Rabbits? Her head thumped against the wood as she worked her wrists. They were bound together in a thicket of rope, but no know was within reach of her small - more dextruous - fingers. An unbidden pout found its way to her mouth, but disappeared the moment she realized it existed. Or should she let it exist..? While being female, she didn''t want to attract men. But women are attracted to cuteness, right? So... "Yea, yea, and you nearly killed her when she bit you, now be quiet! We aren''t out of the country yet! And these creatures could be anywhere! We aren''t far enough from the last village, so BE QUIET!" "..Fine!" Need to escape! Don''t think about useless things... Okay, so, can''t get free physically. Without my hands, I won''t be able to get out of the box. But I still don''t know how magic works. Wait, doesn''t my healing work with mana? So that feeling from earlier..? "Still, can''t wait ta'' get paid. Gonna get a mountan a'' gold for dis one ta'' a slava''~ Gyahaha-YEOWCH!" Slava... "Yessir." And they''re idiots... Idiots that caught me... So I really am being kidnapped?! If I hadn''t been in pain when I woke up, I might have thought they were smuggling me or something! Isn''t this kinda, no, really bad? Now I HAVE to escape! Closing her eyes - which barely reduced the darkness - she focused on finding that feeling again. Surprisingly, it was simple; it existed everywhere within her body. Even with it beingh her first attempt, it was strangely easy to get used to it. Almost like a sixth sense, she felt a flow throughout her body, now that she was looking for it. Up and down her limbs, flooding her torso in strange directions, it seems like many currents intertwined within her body, flushing in continuous bursts. As if being pumped...Stolen story; please report. My heart... Of course, just like the natural physical elements are directed throughout a person''s body, so would mana. Mine is supposedly different, however. If mine is absorbed through the soul, then how are others'' absorbed? Maybe the air, like Oxygen? Ahhg~ it doesn''t matter! Focus! Feeling the mana flowing within her, she carefully guided a bit from her chest to outside her body. It was almost shocking how easily the mana flow had been changed to allow this. However, as soon as her attention faded on the outside mana, it snapped back within herself! She sucked in a breath as the flow within was momentarily pressured before resettling into the previous flow. Ouw... So, it returns to my body if it is still part of the flow? Then- Focusing inwards, she guided a part within her to separate from he major currents. This seemed easiest within her limbs, but in her currently forced fetal position, that didn''t feel like the best way to go about whatever she intended. This time, it was even easier to manipulate the flow to expel the mana. More than that, when she let it go, it simply dissipated into the air, causing small wave of unexplainable feeling to rush through her momentarily. Ignoring the strange sensation, she continued on. With the success in manipulation, she immediately tried again. However, this would be geared towards escaping. Without knowing exactly how her newfound abilities worked, it would be best to simply makethe attempts until something worked, and hope none of it backfired, as it most likely would if she simply experimented with various manipulations within an enclosed area. Being bored, lazy, and inattentive are not inherintly dangerous - unless walking down the street - but being ignorant of potentially dangerous forces is. So with that thought, she focused another sphere of mana out and above herself. Despite feeling like it wasn''t that much, especially since it was a bit smaller than her previous attempts for her own safety, it was better to be on the safe side. Unfortunately, she couldn''t exactly see the mana, but there was a strange glow that had followed each attempt. It was brighter where she felt the mana existed, with the box actually gaining a tiny bit of bightness - almost a blue glow - but not quite visible. Taking a breath to steel her resolve, she focused on altering the energy - it was energy, right? - into something that wouldn''t hurt if she failed. And her ''blessings'' should give the capability to produce the desired action. RIght..? So she focused on the safest of the most basic elements. Or molecule, as it is. Water. It would leak out of the box if there was too much. Rocks might hurt, fire would be potentially deadly, and wind might cause some unexpected issue or just fail entirely. So she focused on water. On the building blocks of water. It''s a liquid. Something that could leak through the smal cracks if she failed. But it was an element that hardens with force. On Mana warping into the pysical form of H2O. A sphere of water. And the glow dimmed as a small refraction of light was formed where her mana had existed. It was dim, but she could still see the sphere flowing into existence. The mana was dissipating, but her salvation was at hand! She urged the transformation to happen more and more quickly. And all too soon, the mana was gone! I did it! Now, need to force it to blow through the crate, an- Before the thought could even finish, the water ball exploded outward within the tiny space. Pain quickly accompanied the pressure for a short instant, before it released. Unable to comprehend what was happening, she could only cough out water as the pain of being crushed dissipated. A moment later, she was squinting up at a blue sky. Blinking off the glare, she shook her head in an attempt to regain her bearings. Sky... C-Cold! What the heck? What just happened?! Ah, the top of my crate is gone... Or the top half? Grunts and groans picked at her ears, and she quickly refocused. Unlike before, she was completely drenched, and it felt like something was sticking to her back, while the sounds around were all slightly muffled. Too much water! Ah! No time to think! I need to escape! Rolling forward, she got to her knees, then to her feet. Shaking her head agan cleared up the hearing issue, as water dripped out from either ear. Looking about, the situation was actually far more devastating than she first assumed. How... HOW does a small sphere of water blow apart half of a WAGON?! A piece of wood landed in front of her foot, startling her into a small jump. Looking around, she found the idiot duo struggling to their feet from the front of the wagon, and a horse running off ahead. Another piece of wood laned to her left, and the wagon shifted as it''s left wheel unexpectedly broke. Almost losing her balance, she bent her legs and jumped towards an area empty of debris off the side of the destroyed wagon. "What happened..?" The more regal voice questioned aloud from behind her. She took a glance to see a medium sized man in decent clothes getting to his feet unsteadily. He would have had decent clothes, despite being medieval in design, had they not been torn and drenched. Her eyes caught the other, who wore leathers and looked more bodyguard than bandit like she''d assumed. Neh, they''re both still idiots... Her eyes met bodyguard''s, no idiot-2''s. "AH, she''s a'' runnin!" The other, more professional type - maybe that''s the attire of a trader? - quickly turned and caught sight of her. His eyes blaze in fury. "Then grab her before she gets to the forest! NOW, you big oaf!" Crap! Gotta- A piece of wood conked on idiot-2''s head, felling him with a single hit... "Ah, Aha, Nyahahaha!" Despite needing to run, she couldn''t help the urge to laugh. However, idiot-1 had started moving towards her, and idiot-2 was on his knees again. Despite the hilarious moment, she choked her laughs down and twisted to flee into the nearby trees. It was actually a beautiful area, filled with green and brown, with many bushes and vines with flowers blooming freely. Still, she ran. Bare feet trodded through soft grass much easier than she had ever thought, and her body twisted around trees that she would have run into before reincarnating. Leaning forward further wasn''t as unstable, and even with bound hands she could twist, turn, jump, and run without issue. More than that, she felt fast. Even with her movements getting easier the longer she runs, it felt like she wouldn''t fall even if she messed up. Her gaze flickered behind her for the reason. Two soaked tails floated behind her, slightling lifting the short white skirt of her dress, naturally guiding her body into the best motions they can without losing balance. She turned towards a tree, and they flicked to the side to compensate. She jumped over a large root, and they swished. She twirled about some vines, and they fluttered to either side for better balance. As she ran, the distance to the wagon kept growing, and safety was slowly filling her thoughts. MInutes passed and she started slowing down. With the wind helping, her fur and hair felt much less clumpy, and dress not so clingy. Sighing, she looked for a decent place to sit. Doing so next to a large tree trunk, she settled her side against it to think. And there was a LOT to think about. Like how the situation even progressed to the point of geting kidnapped? Or who the idiot duo even were? Why was she here? Her head thumped against the bark while she rested, but this only caused something on her head to itch. It was easily ignorable, however, and she was just wanting to think. So she closed her eyes, being serious about it for a moment, and tried to ignore the world around her for a few minutes now that she wasn''t in immediate danger. Who am I? I don''t have memories of that, despite probably having supposed to. Her ear twitched agains the tree again, getting even more itchy. Then lets start with something even more basic: What am I? Something soft brushed her leg. I am a Kitsune Tsuki. Whatever that is. Doesn''t Tsuki mean moon? Or is it spirit? Or... Fuzzy warmth started gathering around her legs, somewhat calming her mind and helping her think. What''s my name? Aurora of the Eclipse clan. But that doesn''t tell me anything either... And her - Aurora''s - ear itched, but she - a Kitsune - still ignored it. How did I get into this situation? I was kidnapped while playing with... rabbits... Ah! Itchy! ITCHY! AHhh~ She reached up and scratched the damnable itch. A heavenly feelings spread as her fingers traversed down the short fur to her hair, and continued scratching. The feeling almost drew her attention away, but there was just something bothering her. Why? Almost certainly because of my blessings. "But how could those two idiots get away with me..?" The other hand shifted to land on that fuzzy warmth crowding against her, shifting back and forth as if petting something. It felt really really good, spreading warmth in her heart. She almost looked down as another thought came to mind. And that water ball. There was a LOT more water than I thought. I don''t think it shot either..? But, why? I used all the mana to create water, and then... There was no more mana to make it do anything else? Is that why? The fuzzy feelings increased, and she - Aurora - finally looked down. With a start, she nearly knocked a small white bunny from her lap. A bunny she was petting. Blinking rapidly, Aurora twisted her head to find a small coul of rope behind her with several small bunnies nibbling on it. Eh? My hands are free... And I''m SURROUNDED! Wide eyes surveyed the gathering of bunnies as Aurora tried to understand what was going on. She was in a forest. A lush forested with a moderate climate. A climate that should have brown bunnies, rather than white. And those bunnies took to surrounding her. Looking like a bed, or maybe a cloud, of cuteness... "Kyaaaa!" Without even thinking, she gathered the one in her lap into her arms, carefully nuzzling it with her cheeks. Almost immediately, another took the free spot, and the cloud shifted. Aurora could only look in wonder at the amazing sight, while cuddling the rabbit in her arms. "Hehe~ So many! Ah! You have black tips! And you have a stripe~! So many of you! Kyahaha~ Ti-i-ickles! Hyaa! My legs~" And then everything freezes. Aurora looks up confusedly for a moment, before horror creeps in. WHAT WAS I DOING?! A loud cracking sound scatterd the bunnies, confusing Aurora. Even the one in her arms jumps off and runs as if on fire. Eh? EHH? Why are you leaving me~? Another sound, a small thump in the grass draws her attention. Looking back, a large leg steps around the tree. "Found ''er boss!" "Hyaaaouwch!!" Without even any time to react, pain wraps Aurora''s side as the ground twists and flies under her. She hit the ground again, and immediately grabs at her side in pain, almost as if a hammer had smashed into her side. Tears gather in her closed eyes, as she whimpers. "Ouw~ Hiiaa!" Then the ground disappeared from under her again, but this time because one of her arms is yanked by what feels like the hands of a brutal giant. His grip easily bruising nearly her entire forearm in his grip. While the pain in her side is fading, the constant pressure upon her arm easily replaces it. "Gyot er, heheh!" He lifts the child higher so their faces are nearly touching. Ew ew EW! HE REEKS! HIS BREATH STINKS! Eh, my side feels better already? Thank You body~! Opening my eyes, Aurora sees- "Eeep! Ugly!" No! Don''t growl! Scary! Too ugly! Too scary! She tres to push him away, but it doesn''t do any good. Am I pushing against a stone wall?! WHAT ARE YOU?! Gehehe." His smirk turns vicious, as Aurora refocuses on him. GEH! EW! Get away! Too Smelly! Get Away! Too Ugly! GET AWAY! He turns slightly, so that his ''boss'' can''t get a clear view. "Don'' worry too much, a''ll take care of ''ya." He leans forward and licks the little vixens'' cheek, much to her rapidly increasing horror. No! NO! I don''t care if I die, but I don''t want to be near these two again! Get away! No, I need to make them go away! Like that crate! Go away! THE CRATE! Water ball! I need another! Go Away! Another water ball at them! GO AWAY! Aurora pulls the hand from the Ugly man''s chest, and wills a blob of mana to form and split off inside the hand, quickly begging out and into a ball of water like before. Only, this time, she splits half of it for the purpose of forcing the ball towards her target. Idiot-2 b''s glances down at the arm just in time to see the shimmer of water just as it disappears. "HEY, STO-" Just as he caught sight of the orb, it had already pierced his chest, exploding out behind him. A wave of pressurized water, blue, red, and white, shotgunned out the back of his chest, spreading wide behind him. His partner, or boss, as it were, gasped as shards of flesh and bone pierced him, while streaks of water left lacerations across most of his body. Unlike his partner, he hadn''t been in the direct path of the ''blast'', as he was more off to the side, so he had accidentally avoided immediate death. Aurora stared in near mute horror as the grip upon her wrist loosed and she fell to land on all fours, while the two idiots collapsed to the ground. The one directly before her with a hole in his chest larger than his own fist, while the other looked like he was put through a bad shredder. Despite being alive, the more refined idiot didn''t take more than a few seconds befor his coughing to die down as he stopped breathing. Aurora could only stare, aghast at the gory men. "Wha-?" Did I? What did... Eh? Pale as snow, Aurora could only stare at the two dead men. "I... Killed?" The sight was quickly seared into Aurora''s mind as darkness took over. Muddy Magic Warm~ Scrunching her eyes from morning light, Aurora twisted away to snuggle closer into the furry blanket. Chirping birds forced her closer to conscious thought, but it was just far too comfortable to wake up yet. An arm found some hold, and she pulled it into her embrace. It twisted a little, confusing her. The rest of her blanket, however, was much more unsettling as it shifted. "EEEP!" Twisting and pushing, Aurora flung herself into the air, away from whatever creater had her in its grip. Landing several feet from where she was, her frightened eyes took in the scene as she prepared to run. Yet, the thought itself quickly fled her mind. "Wha...?" Dumbfounded, she could only fall on her rear and shiver as every eye settled upon her. There was no danger, not from these creatures. Although it was slightly unnerving as several dozen pairs of small, innocent eyes of cute bunnies. Their heads twisting in curiosity rather than the normal fear one would expect from such creatures. A few closed the distance, while the others lost interest and wandered off. "..eh? Why are you all rubbing against me? ...ehe, ahaha, it tickles~! No! Hwaa~ haa." Confused, Aurora quickly stood and distanced herself from the bunnies, glaring at this newfound adversary. While they were all so fluffy, soft, and way too cute, the entire situation was just so odd. Why was she surrounded by fuzzy creatures at all? SHWOOO~ A gentle breeze caressed her while thinking that, causing an unexplained shiver at unfamiliar feelings. One of the more obvious feelings was how her hair fluttered. Not just on her head, but on a strange extention from her backside. Rather, two extentions, now that she paid attention. More strikingly was the breezy feeling all around her legs, going even up to her... Memories of crazy events resurfaced as two small hands instantly pressed against her most important area, causing another deep full-body shiver at the confirmation. She gulped. Right... Death, Goddess, Reincarnated, Kitsune, and Female. Closing her eyes, Aurora - right, I''m Aurora now - took a deep calming breath. Then released. Aurora, Female, and Kitsune. A Tsuki Kitsune. Or is it Kitsune Tsuki? The heck is Tsuki?! Shaking her head brought an itch to her head. So she scratched. Then stopped and blinked as her head twitched. Her hands came back in front of her face for a long searching look, even as she turned them about. They were small. Thin and delicate fingers replaced what she - not he - was used to. Those thin appendages slowly rose back to the top of her head, easily finding the area that twitched. Soft and gently, two fingers flowed up to a point, then back down, following the furry extension poking out of her head. Then they found the other. "Hwa!" They flicked as a ticklish sensation overcame her. She shook her head, catching some hair between her fingers, which felt much thinner and silkier than any human hair, and very similar to the feel of her ears. Ears... Fox ears? They are, right? I have fox ears... I''m a Kitsune, so of course I have fox ears... The she looked back and blushed at the sight of twin bushes of fur fluttered about.Tails... I have two. Kinda, no, really cute tails. Despite ther being two, both were really fluffy. Thin at the base, where they poked out from under her skirt, thickening several fold in fluffyness at about three-fourths the length, before quickly tapering into a small point at the end. Just like the waist length hair that kept swaying into her sight when she moved, both tails had fur whiter than doves, and far more beautiful with a distinct shine that almost seemed reflect as if pink. Swoosh~ Another breeze cuased her to shiver. Not only had she been reincarnated as something strange, but everything had become much more sensitive. While it wasn''t much, the sliky summer dress was brushing against her skin, caressing her with smooth gestures. It wasn''t only that, but everything. Green and brown, while prevelant in the surrounding forest and similar to what she had seen before, were far more vibrant and diverse. Then there were flowers in the distance that would have been impossible to spot before. And she could smell them, even from such a distance! Smell and differentiate which were where. All it took was a slight change in where her nose was and a few sniffs. It was the same for animals too. The ones at a distance, while moving and harder to locate by mere smell, she could still see and hear them to be certain. Though it wasn''t as obvious as smell, her hearing could pick up the chattering of squirrel-like creatures up in the trees dozens of meters away. That wasn''t possible before, was it? A much more vicious smell caught her while exploring the change, and Aurora turned swiftly. Only, nothing was there. Rather, what she smelled was there, but not what was expected. Blood and a few chewed bones were a few meters from her, along with torn clothes. But the two bodies that might have existed, that should have existed, that had been there... Why are they gone?! No, they were.. eaten? Wha..? Staring for a few moments solved nothing more than that. Two men she killed to save herself. A couple of kidnappers that had probably done horrible deeds. That she had killed. But... Why don''t I feel that bad about it? No, I don''t like it, but it''s not like it''s upsetting me much. Not like... yesterday. The events quickly flooded her mind, but it was more like regular memories than the horror she thought it was at the time. Shaking her head, Aurora gave up wondering. It might have had something to do with the ''Adaptable'' blessing, but that wasn''t quite what she asked for. Wait, what about my status? Do I gain anything from that? Eh? Nothing appeared..? Aurora furrowed her brows in confusion at the lack of blue. "Do I have to say it out loud? Status!" ...Again, nothing appeared? Stupid goddess! The heck?! Did you twist everything I asked for?! "Grrrr~ Hwa?!" D-Did I just growl?! Again, Aurora could only sigh after the slight amazement dissipated. "...Haa~ Just ignore it. Ignore everything that''s changed. It''s no point in getting worked up abuot it, or even worrying. Nothing will come of complaining about the cute voice of a fox-human hybrid thingy talking to herself." And now I know I''ve gone crazy... "But, what do I do now..?" Looking around again, she could only see forest. It was definitely as beautiful as it was the first time she thought about it. But there was no visible land marks. No direction that stood out. Rather, what did she need to do? "No, what do I want to do? I should have fun, right? Nnn~" Her head tilted for a moment before looking down at the soft gass coming up to her knees. After a moment of indecision, she sat down, and laid back to stare at the beautiful tree tops. Light was leaking through the leaves, and little animals were scurrying around thick limbs. Not long after, the kitsune child felt fuzz cuddling up against a leg. Then another. And another. Glancing down comfirmed the small bunnies of snowy fur having taken to cuddling up against her. Cute... but shouldn''t they be foxes? Mn~ They''re comfortable. Now, what should I do? Where should I start? The goddess reincarnated me with blessings. I was unique I was put to sleep with my blessings. As asked Kidnappers took me from my home and hurt me. I''m important? No, it''s probably because my blessings make me naturally desirable? My memories of this childhood are either gone or suppressed. Head pain when I woke up. Amnesia? No knowledge of this world, where I am, who I am, or where I should go. Just travel around and learn? How do I earn a living? No shelter. No food. No water. No company. My body might not need it..? While there might not have been much to think about, each question was actually difficult. Each could have led her to a different path. She had a home, but where was that? She had a life, but what happened to allow her to be kidnapped? Was it even safe to return? How would she even go about doing this? If she was kidnapped, were the people who she lived with even alive? Would there be a place for her to return to? How long would it even take? So many questions, and so little answers. Without knowledge of the world, the races, societies, or anything that matters, the only real choice left was to simply explore. To travel the world and learn what she could. And if there was a way to learn of her origins, would they even be important without her childhood memories? Do I... even care? That was the real question... An odd, yet slightly familiar pressure forced her thoughts back to the now. Leaning up, she focused on the forest around her. It was so vibrant with life. She could almost feel it... Or maybe she could. Her new body was so different that it was impossible to know as of yet. Although there was one thing that was the same... Her face flushed a furious red. Pee... I gotta pee. Aurora stood and glanced around, only pausing to stare at the adorable bunnies scattering before looking for a small ditch or some kind of... And, why does that matter? I''m alone out here! Gathering her courage, the reborn girl walked to a nearby tree trunk, shifted to place it behind her, and squatted. Almost immediately, Aurora felt the need to release, but her eyes widened at the realization of cloth being in the way. Scrambling furiously with limbs she was slightly unaccustumed to, her skirt was lifted, and Aurora yanked the cloth hugging her hips to her knees. "Ah! Hwaaa~" The pressure released, and a pleasant release quickly relaxed her tense body. Tha-... That was... Her eyes refocused as it ended, followed by an even fiercer rush of heat into her cheeks than before. Not only was it nothing like she remembered, but it as much more pleasurable. Because of her increased sensitivity? Or her changed sex? Or- DON''T THINK ABOUT IT! Shaking her head, Aurora started to pull the fabric back in place, but instantly stopped, flustered, with tears starting to form in her eyes. Awa, a-ah... It''s d-dripping... Stupid body! Stupid Goddess! Looking around, she could only see grass within reach. Even if the leaves would have been better, there wasn''t any on the ground nor a branch low enough to gather one from. Taking a breath, she gathered herself, and did what needed to be done... . . . Walking through the grass wasn''t anywhere near as unpleasant as it had been in her previous life. It wasn''t much different, but it didn''t bother her like it should have. There were some weeds that looked scratchy, yet they didn''t do more than slide off her bare legs when stepping on or brushing passed them. Aurora checked the soles of her feet, and they were surprisingly as soft and smooth as her hands. No calluses had even formed, yet she was sure her body had been running barefoot over broken wood the day before. That should have left scratches. Right? Why does the cloth have to cling so closely? Embarrassing... Even stranger was that her dress was near perfect in appearance. After being stuffed into a wooden crate for who knows how long, drenched in water, running through a forest filled with catchy bushes and trees, sleeping in the grass, and coverd in who knows how many cute bunnies, there was not so much of a blemish. The bodyguard-idiot had even kicked her. Shouldn''t there be tears and stains? If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. And it''s flat against me. So weird. But it''s soft, an- "STOP THINKING ABOUT IT!" Red faced, Aurora huffed a few breaths, and started forwards again. "Just a change in anatomy. It came with the new life. Get used to it." And the cute voice! It''s YOURS! "Think about the clothes. They are not normal!" The reincarnated child trudged on, pushing herself through even taller grass. Wait, am I going deeper into the forest? Looking around, it wasn''t exactly obvious. The grass was definitely taller, but that wasn''t exactly a determination. The trees were thicker, taller, and a bit more sparse. But that didn''t mean she wasn''t at the edge of a village. Or something. Awah, i,i-it''s crawling up my... "Clothes! Focus on the dress!" It really was strange. White as her hair, and a bit plain, yet definitely suited for her specific cute appearance. A tight waist, with straps cris-crossing in the front, over either shoulder, and down to the back. It had a ribbon wrapped just above the hips, tied into a butterfly bow bigger than both her hands, that felt like it laid just above where her tail starts poking out of her butt, and seemed to hold the upper-thigh length skirt from fluttering up too much. Something both her tails and the wind apparently liked doing to display her white panties. Those apparently had a tie on the back, so rather than scrunching up into a tail, or tails, it was gently held in place by them. Though, they also had the effect of shifting the cloth, pulling them up in- STOP! YOU''RE A GIRL! GET OVER IT! Aurora''s took another deep breath in attempt to quell the heat searing her face. Okay, no clothes. Don''t think about your body either. Just... What else is there? The goddess took the window after one use... That thing should have been there to see where I can improve. No use worrying about that either... So~ Magic? "Kyaouwch!" A dainty hand snapped up to Aurora''s nose as she rubbed it, deliberately ignoring the tears brought by running face-first into a rock wall. Eh... eh!? Rock? Glancing left, she could see it grew taller into the distance. To her right, it shrunk slightly, but was still several times taller than her by the time it was too far for her sight to make out. "That''s a loooon wall. Is this a cliff face?" Looking back and forth didn''t really determine much. There were two possible directions, but where to go? Right would likely lead to a quicker way around it, but probably stopped within the forest. However, if she followed the wall as it got taller... Would it lead into a canyon? Would there be a settlement underneat..? It wouldn''t be strategically safe, but maybe there could be a waterfall? If it went far enough, there was likely to be something. It was a definite direction that would likely lead to something. "Left it is~ Aha!" A little happier that she has an actual trail to follow - it''s a wall - Aurora skipped on with a smile. Which gradually turned flat after a few minutes. "So~ bored. What was I thinking about before smashing my nose..? Magic! Right!" With the blessings, she knew it should be easy for her to use magic. However, both attempts exploded in her face - one literally!. It was like the little spheres of water were heavily condensed. The first was enough to shatter the wagon apart - how did I SURVIVE that? ..Did I? - and soaked everything around to muddy oblivion. The second pierced her attacker and exploded out his back like... an exploding shotgun of water? A literal tonn or more of it? How much mana had been used to create the attacks? It wasn''t much in comparison to what she had, but it was definitely more than needed. The first time was basically the amount in her hand, maybe less. Maybe a fingers'' worth in the second attempt? Both had ended up being so much water though..? What would any other magic turn out as if such small amounts of mana turned out like that? "Mnn~ couldn''t I test it out now..?" Stopping, Aurora looked left, and into the forest, but there weren''t any bunnies in sight to worry about. Lifting a finger, she focused on that strange internal feeling from before. It almost felt like she was using sixth sense - probably is... - to find her mana. To find a the small area in her right hands. In her index finger. At the tip... The little magician split that part from her regular flow, forcing it out a few centimeters from the tip, and concentrated. Thinking of water, it''s structure, of her expelled mana altering into that form. Almost happily, the water followed through with her intentions, quickly gathering into a sphere. It rapidly expanded, getting larger the more time passed and mana transformed. Biggerthan her hand. Higher than her body. Larger than a bear. Wide eyed, Aurora gulped at the enormous sphere of water. Uwaa~ It''s larger than a car! "...But what do I do now? Shoot it..?" A moment later, it felt like something snapped between her and the water. SPLASHhhHhh "Hyaaaa! C-COLD!" Before she could even react, the large sphere of water flattened into the ground, flowing over the ground and her shins, splashing against the rock face behind her, and drenching the majority of her backside. Feeling a cold weight holding her tails, Aurora shifted them around either side to see them half soaked as well. "HnnN! My tails... Haa~" She allowed her tails to sag, her head following along. "Am I clumsy now? Why do these things keep happening...?" "Ah? Awa?!" After a moment, the soaked child realized her feet were sinking into the grass. Twisting, she pulled a foot free and stepped forward, quickly pulling the other out. With much more force pressing her front foot down, it quickly sunk deeper, shifting her balance as the mud tightened its grip. "Kyaaa!" Splat! For a moment, Aurora simply laid there. Face first in the muddy grass. Only for a moment. Both arms quickly moved to her sides and pushed down, lifting her up so she could take a breath. Tears gathered in her eyes as the muddied girl glared at the ground. "Tempt fate... Of course I had to tempt fate..." Thankfully, it didn''t take too much work to get free of the muddy grass. At least, now that she was being careful about it. Who wants to fall in mud again? Still, the soil was soft for it to get so squishy as fast as it did. It would be amazing farming soil. She thought so, at least, but Aurora was definitely not a farmer. Nor did she care to learn. "Mud... Why did it have to be mud? I already felt dirty." - Even though my dress was clean... "So dirty.... Why did I have to use water? Why, WHY, didn''t I try earth? Maybe magic could clean me? But with my success so far..." It would probably skin me or something! NO THANKS! Slumping herself forward, still following the wall of rock - or is that granite?, Aurora just continued on while hoping for a waterfall. Or a village. A hot bath would be nice. Just want it all off! Why does it feel so much worse than I ever remember? Cliff... Cliff... Wall of rock... Ewww~ It''s drying! Need to get it off.. Magic can, right? No. Just use more water, right? But that''s what got me like this in the first place... Need a waterfall. Just need to find- Aurora froze, blinking wildly as a thought hit her. She shifted her eyes up to the wall beside her, staring at the near hundred meter height it had grown into. Then down at her hands, sprinkled in drying mud. It might work... Each time I create a massive amount, but... Stepping back, Aurora focused on her mana again. Like before, she separated a tiny amount in her finger, and pushed it out at a point. Thinking about each use, there had been some obvious differences. Both the first and second had used small spheres, while the third had simply created a large amount. However, the first and third never moved, using all the mana available for only creating water within a space, while the second only had half transformed into water. The first two were naturally compressed as they were created. WIth nothing left, the first simply exploded with extreme pressure. The second, however, had mana available, and used, for a secondary purpose. Aim high above, at the cliff. Same amount of mana as the third try. Focus half into a condensed ball of water. The other half to maintain it and shoot it away. Swoooo~splsh! Ssshhhhhhhh "Naha, ehehee~!" A small giggle escaped Aurora''s lips as a short, but heavy rain fell upon her, washing away most of the dirt that had covered her front. However, as she glanced at the brown running down her arms, the white dress, the immaculately clean dress, caught her attention. Not a speck of mud could be seen on it. Even the water from the short rain staining her dress was quickly dissipating from it. As if laughing at her. IT''S FREAKING SELF CLEANING! SMACK "...Ow. Note to self: don''t face-palm. It hurts!" Still, it made one wonder if self-cleaning clothes were common. With a further shrug and sigh, the little kitsune quickly walked on, this time before the mud could properly suck her feet in. And for a good reason. There will NOT be a second image of my face left in mud anywhere around here! Aftera while, the clean - still feel some dirt... - girls'' resolute steps slowed as it became obvious that there likely wouldn''t be a village, or anything, for a while. No village, no waterfall, no anything... I''m geting bored~ Maybe I can practice magic while walking..? Aurora nearly smacked herself again for stupidity. Is it because of my past life? Or my current self? Mnn~? Magic! Bringing her finger forward again, she focused on a smaller amount, the smallest she could manage, and pushed out the separated energy. Amazingly, it stayed in front of her finger while the curious child kept walking. It was disconneted, yet obviously still in her control. Neat... But, maybe something other than water..? Lightning is dangerous. Fire more so. Wind... Earth could be interesting? Or maybe just ice? Ice... Instead of just converting it a set amount of mana, she imagined a shape. A spike of ice. Then a structure. While is fluid, ice is basically crystal, and has over a dozen forms. It didn''t matter which yet, so she just focused on filling the area with supercooled water that quickly froze as the shape flowed into existence. It only took a short instant to reveal the existence of her desired creation. After that, the leftover mana... Awawa?! There''s so much! Even with the tiny amount, it almost seemed like none of it had been used to make the spike. It was only about the size of index finger, with a length comparable to her forearm. It wasn''t big, but fet freezing cold. Despite being a few centimeters away, there was a slight chill floating off of it. And it felt like she could make dozens with the remaining mana. But... I don''t need the rest? So far, Aurora felt as if there had been a mental hold of any mana she separated from herself. Now that she was looking for a way to just ''let go'' of it, the feeling that she could surfaced. It was a feeling similar to when she wanted to release a completed spell. If it wasn''t so cold, she would check the ice itself before doing so, but that obviously wasn''t happening. She wanted to know what would happen to the remaining mana. CRACK*SHIK*ACKLE "KYA!" Jumping back, Aurora quickly distanced herself from rapidly expanding ice that had been her spike. Not an second after the mana was released, the ice spike lazily feell, spearing the ground while expanding rapidly in size, until it was at a height and width comparable to Aurora herself. "Waa~? Aha... That obviously wasn''t a good idea.." The startled Kitsune just stood in fascination as the ice. It took a few moments for her to make sense of what had happened, and felt like hitting herself again when she did. When she formed the spike from mana, it was still connected to it. Having used some to create the spike, there was something like a command connected to it. After being released, the rest followed the command that had been linked with the ice spike. Aurora expected it to dissipate, honestly, but that was likely the only outlet available to mana that still had connection to a spell; enhancing the spell. Throwing off the unexpected situation, the finally dry kitsune continued on her self-given path while thinking of what had happened. Of what it could mean. Would that happen to any spell that was fed excess mana? Or did it only work that way due to it being from the same source? Was the size not part of the spell? It stayed the same shape, just much larger. It might have been colder too? She glanced back without stopped, and there was frost covering the grass near the large crystal. But that didn''t actually answer her question. Shaking her head free of unanswerable questions, Auroa brought her finger up again. Despite the attempt to bring forth even less mana, it felt the same as her last attempt. Holding a sigh, the focused child worked on another spike of ice. However, this time with a structure pre-designed in her mind. Even though it was a short fall, the giant spike had actually cracked. Certain structures of various elements could even become stronger than steel, yet stay lighter due to their elemental weight. Most of these structures are not naturally occuring. Carbon Nano-Tubes would be one example. But Aurora was using ice. An element with more than a dozen different structures the molecules could form from only itself. Not exactly studious in her previous life, she didn''t know each and every one. Rather, Aurora had only read things of interest. A theoretical structure of ice that would be stronger, yet multitudes lighter? That was something interesting. And so the ice formed. Her eyes had a spark of excitement as they gazed at, through, the translucent crystal, perfection compared to the snowy white of its predecessor. It floated in front of her finger, waiting, begging, for a target. And, unlike before, she didn''t plan on having it blow up in her face... Yet, the magically gifted girl didn''t want to simply shoot it with the remaining mana; she didn''t want to create a sonic boom... Unfortunately, even if the spike took more than the last, it was still only about a tenth. Strangely, any mana she expelled seemed to expand. Or maybe decompress? Which made it MUCH easier to manipulate outside her body. ...HOW much mana do I HAVE?! That thought was a bit mind boggling. Even during that thought, Aurora pressed about the same amount used to create the ice into an effect that would act to force it to fly like a bullet, while hoping it wouldn''t immediately shoot off. When it didn''t, she gave a small sigh of relief. Is it a good thing for a child to sigh so much..? Following that, various attempts to separate the excess mana were made. She couldn''t draw it back into her body. It wouldn''t split off from the current spell. Other various ideas were thought of and rejected or failed. The only thing she could think of was to add more commands to the spell. However, as soon as she started adding a ''rotate'' command - like a bullet - another idea popped up. One that made her feel stupid. Again... A moment later, Aurora had three more spikes of ice floating next to her original. It was strangely easier to form them than the first. What caught her attention, however, was that the mana remaining was less than expected. Does it take energy to maintain a spell? ...That should be obvious! Unlike before, Aurora was a lot more excited.Stopping her slow walk, she aligned her spears with a tree, and took one last glance at the attack she had created. A magic attack. Her magic spell. And if I''m right, it should almost be like tanks shooting! And they were released at a tree several dozen meters away. Aurora watched, but could only see the slightest of blurs between her and the tree. She listened, but the most she could hear was the slightest swish of the wind. Even as they hit the tree, there was only a near silent sound that was a mix of stabbing and brushing dirt. However, it was such a short sound that it was almost missed. The result could almost be called dull in its result. If there weren''t four holes that had been bored straight through the tree... Not quite a tank bullet... Aurora stood still for a moment, before giggling to herself in success. It didn''t quite prove that physics were exactly the same in her new life, but it did show there would be applications for her knowledge. If it was possible to make ice that could pierce through wood like a warm knife through butter, then there would be some incredible things in her future. A smile decorated the child''s face as she continued walking along the cliffside for the rest of the day, practicing various forms of water and ice magics. Her good mood only brightened near the end of the evening when the the cliff opened up its face for the first time. "Finally! Something besides wall! Only a cave... but it''s better than staying out in the open where it can rain."
