Then it ruled its people with an iron fist. In this new society the strong ruled, the weak were treated like trash. It lit a flame of rebellion in the hearts of the oppressed and some started rebellions despite the overwhelming power of The Kingdom. However the rebellions were swiftly taken care of and humanity has lost all its hope of fighting back. Just when the flames of rebellion were going out a boy who would shake the world to its core was born. Chapter 1 - The Training Ground What is this? Where am I? Is this heaven? No, definitely not. Is this hell? Nope, not it either. Wait, is this reincarnation? Then why am I still in the modern era? I am supposed to go to a fantasy world, right? I guess these two are my parents. Green hair, huh? I guess this is some kind of fantasy world after all. What is this awful feeling? Oh right, it¡¯s hunger. Wait a sec what am I supposed to do now? Well then [Secret Technique of Infants: Cry]. Well this part is boring so let¡¯s skip a bit¡­ Okay so 8 years passed since I was born into this new world. As far as I know in this world people are born with superpowers and it starts to show at the age of 8, the age I¡¯m currently at. Aside from that it seems that it seems about a century has passed since I passed away and during that time people started getting superpowers and an organization named ¡®¡¯The Kingdom¡¯¡¯ was created to bring order to the chaos which happened when people got superpowers. Or it might be a completely different world than mine, I don¡¯t know the details since I can¡¯t get my hands on a history book or something of the sort. And one more strange thing about this world is that people with weak powers are sent to a place called ¡®¡¯Training Ground¡¯¡¯, but it¡¯s not much of a training ground than a high-security prison.The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. ¡®¡¯Leo, come out¡¯¡¯ shouted out a woman. Oh, by the way that¡¯s the name I go by now. It was my mother, she had blonde hair but the most striking feature of all was her scarlet eyes, which looks really creepy during the night, I learned it from experience. She said ¡®¡¯We¡¯re going to the Testing Center.¡¯¡¯ It is finally time for me to test my superpower. It¡¯s done by using a special device made for it. When we arrived there we could see two types of people:
  1. Proudly going home with the knowledge that they have a decent superpower.
  2. Angrily walking home knowing that they¡¯ll be sent to the ¡®¡¯Training Ground¡¯¡¯ for their useless power.
Entering the building I could see that this was a very high-tech lab. The rooms were filled with strange equipment. After walking through a seemingly endless corridor we came around a room with lots of doctors inside it. When we entered the room two of the doctors came and took me to a seat and lowered a strange helmet like device. It hurt a little but it was done in a minute. I could imagine my mother nervously looking at the screen. After the doctor pulled up the device I could see the disappointed look on my mother¡¯s face. I hurriedly ran at the screen and couldn¡¯t even believe in my eyes. ¡®¡¯You trash, you call yourself my son? There¡¯s no way I could¡¯ve given birth to a trash like you. Now scram.¡¯¡¯ screamed out my mother. A few doctors grabbed me while another injected something to my neck. Without doubt it was some kind of medicine to make me faint, since my vision started blurring before finally losing consciousness. When I woke up I could make out a filthy room with 4 bunk beds inside. I figured that I was in the ¡®¡¯Training Ground¡¯¡¯ When I got up someone said ¡®¡¯Hey, I¡¯m Paul, what¡¯s your name? And what did ya get to be sent here?¡¯¡¯ After looking for the owner of the voice I found a rather skinny guy lying on the bed next to me. I replied ¡®¡¯Isn¡¯t it improper to ask someone¡¯s information before giving yours?¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯Fine then, my power is [Door Call] the ability to create doors, although it leads to nowhere.¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯My name¡¯s Leo, and my power is [Rainbow Support].¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯What the heck¡¯s that power? Never heard of it.¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯Do you mean that powers overlap?¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯Yeah, once a user dies it shifts to a young people like us. But in some rare case scenarios an original power is created, or so I heard. And you get all the instructions about the power etched into your mind. Anyways what can ya do with yer power?¡¯¡¯ ¡®¡¯I haven¡¯t tried it yet.¡¯¡¯ Although I was acting depressed outside I could do nothing but laugh hysterically inside. Thanks to me being sent to the ¡®¡¯Training Ground¡¯¡¯ I can find many powerful allies. And what these people deem as useless are hard to learn, but they are extremely powerful. Suddenly the door opened and three other people came into the room. They were skinny like Paul aside from a muscular guy walking on the right. After talking to them I found out that they were pretty decent guys and another thing was that I found a box of hidden gems.
