 Prologue

    I remember that day with complete clarity, the cold winds brushing through my white longs as the first rain in a while pattered down gently. I was in a small rural town, with little to no cars, only trackers and cows. My morning was pretty normal for my twenty six year old self, I got up made breakfast, ate by myself, got dressed and left for work. As I was walking down my usual route to work I''d see a old looking shrine and pray to it while offering to the cat god who looked over this town. Giving the fish to the shrine I''d head on my way.


    Then I saw it, a white cat with a single black patch over its mouth would cross the street when an unusual sight was seen. A large speeding car would race towards the tiny animal, I''d jump out hugging the cat with me while I was run over.This tale has been unlawfully lifted from Royal Road.     blood splattered everywhere as the car just speed past not bothering to stop. The few walking and working in the fields would either scream or rush to my aid. But instinctively I knew. I knew I was going to die.
