《The Impossible Realms》
Prologue: Torturous Death
Rain drizzled down onto the decaying world in a gentle cascade of raindrops. Thunder roared and lightining flashed as the storm drew closer to the lands.
In a field of grass that was dyed in blood, a group of mercinaries advanced onto a woman who was nearing her 30''s with scorn written all over their faces. The woman had a bitter smile on her face as she saw the group of people.
An old man stepped out from within the group and yelled at her in a booming voice: "Nekora! You shall die for your sins!"
A small prickle of pain stabbed at Nekora''s heart, but she laughed in an extremely bitter voice. "Just what sin have I committed, father? I haven''t killed anyone!"
This time, a young man stepped up beside Nekora''s father. When she saw him, she felt her heart do a summersalt. "You might as well have killed every person on this plannet! The decaying Earth is your doing!"
The other people in the group nodded their heads in agreement. They all felt that she deserved to die, or else they wouldn''t even be where they are now.
Nekora lowered her head, unwilling to see all of their familiar faces full of anger towards her. Her action caused many within the group to snicker.
"Oh, look! Hehe. She is feeling guilty..."
"She should feel that way. After all, she did cause all of this destruction..."
Nekora gritted her teeth in anger and defiance. "Shut up! All of you know nothing! I really didn''t do a thing." She raised her head to reveal her hazy eyes. "It was..."
The young man interrupted her with a hate-filled voice. "We do not need any of your lies, Nekora. You have always been an abomination to the human race."
Nekora''s breath caught in her lungs. An abomination? Me? Something clicked inside of Nekora, and she suddenly could not feel any of her chaotic feeling anymore. "You''re right."Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
When the young man heard these two words, he chuckled. His joyus mood instantly declined when he heard the woman''s next words: "But, what does that make you?" She looked up to the man with calm eyes. "You all were friends and family with an abomination, so...does this mean that all of you are considered as abominations as well?"
The group gasped at Nekora''s sudden change in attitude, but the old man''s fury raised up to an extreme. "Ready your weapons men!"
The group got out of their shocked state instantly, and they grabbed the multiple different types of high-tech weapons from their waists. The woman''s eyes gleamed as she saw all of them. "Obliteration Gun, Lazor Whip, Plasm Ray...so many different weapons that are able to instant kill a human just by the slightest touch. This is quite a large group of weapons. You would have only needed one, but all of you brought at least one of these weapons."
"Humanity wishes to get you back for what you did." A low voice bellowed from within the crowed.
"Have you guys ever heard of ''a step for man and a leap for humanity''?! You could have just chosen one person to represent humanity, but you all want in on the action." Nekora gave a slight sigh as she closed her eyes.
She knows very well that her death is inevitable. Even though it will be a quick and painless death, it is also going to be a tortutous death. Every single person within the group were all of the people whom she was the closest to. They had helped each other out in times of need, but they are now filled with a false hatred all because of what that man said with the tounge of lies.
Memories of all of her relationships with all of these people filled her mind, and tears uncontrollably ran down her cheeks even though she didn''t feel a thing. Her thought moved towards the stories that she read online at some point in her life. She remembered how some of the main characters in those stories had died tragic deaths, but they were reiencarnated back to life, allowing them the chance to become strong.
That would be pretty cool if that happens, but...that is highly unlikely.
"Go ahead. Death is, after all, something that everyone goes through. Some are just fast than others, so why do you hesatate? Go on and kill me to release your hatred, and try to save the world from its decay if possible. I wish...all of you luck."
The moment she said that, they all fired their over-powered weapons with a war cry. Not even a milisecond later, Nekora''s coutiousness was enveloped with darkness.
Ok. Anyways, this is my first attempt at this type of story, so it may not be the best and it may be cliche. This story is not a fan-fic since there is no specific names on the refrences(please tell me if that is something that is bad).
I hope that the first chapter was good, even though it was a bit short. This is also NOT a translation at all. THis is just so that you guys won''t ask.
Chapter 1: New Life and World
Flower petals scattered about with the wind as it blew wherever it wished. The sky was an amazing shade of blue that warms people''s hearts when they look at it.
Within the Glowing Manor, there is a room that is filled with a small group of 3 that was hovering over a bed. The bed was covered with a thin sheet of corse fabric, and it seemed to be covering up something. Two of the trio had hazy eyes as the gazed at the bed with sorrow.
The duo was a beautiful pair of a man and a woman who looked as though they were in their early 20''s. They both were hand in hand, giving each other as much support as they could. The woman looked away from the bed to gaze at the old woman that was beside it. "A-are you sure that she is dead, doctor?"
"Aye." The old woman replied with a slight nod of her head. "You called me as soon as you knew that your infant had something wrong with it, and nearly 10 years has already passed since then. Even though I am well versed in medicine, I have never seen such a thing in my life. Sadly, my inexperience has lead to your child''s death."
The doctor''s words made the young woman cry out loudly. "M-my baby!" She ran up to the sheets, abandoning the comfort her husband''s hand gave. She wrapped her arms around the small figure that was still under the fabrics.
"Sarah..." The young man looked at his mourning wife, and he instantly moved up to hug her from behind.
"Cal...our child....oh, our child!" Sarah sobbed as she continued to cradle the dead body. Cal knew that he couldn''t change a thing about their child''s death, so he continued to let his wife''s sorrowful feelings to erupt like a valcano. It was a long time before Sarah had finally passed out due to exhostion.
Cal stood up, and carried Sarah in his arms. When he got to the door, he paused for a moment. "Katie. You know what to do."
The doctor nodded her head. "I know."
With Katie''s confirmation, Cal left the room with a slightly lighter heart.

Nekora''s contiousness awakened back up, and she felt a bone pericing cold penetraiting her body. She wanted to shiver, but her body was too stiff to do anything. She also felt as though her breathing was stiffined as well.
She used her willpower to move her hand slightly, but a wave of unfamiliar memories entered her mind, causing her to cease her action.
As they unwillingly became a part of her old memories, she couldn''t help but to feel excitement swell up within her.No...No way!I am actually within the type of world that I have longed to be in! How amazing is my luck! Haha!
According to the new information that she had just aquired, she is within a worold that revolves around martial arts. It is actually a bit different from those stories online since it is a more western culture, but there are many aspects that are very similar to them as well.
In this world, known as Jimonja to it occupants, the martial arts that the prior Nekora knew about started when each child arrived at the age of 10. The age of 10 is the most ripe time for everyone to go through the ''awakening'' process. This ''awakening'' will allow the child to make contact with their Guardian Spirits for the first time. It is a sacred ritual that will determine if a person is a genius or a trash.
Guardian Spirits will continously grow stronger as the cultivator absorbs energies for it. Even though it is the Guardian Spirit that is growing stronger, Guardian Spirits will abide to the will of their benefactor, the cultivator.
Guardian Spirits are able to be in any shape and size. For example, one could have an animal or a weapon of some kind as their Guardian Spirtits, but their forms can sometimes be non-physical, like Elemental Guardian Spirits. Elemental Guardian Spirits are exctremely rare, and they are harder to level up. Despite this, they were always more strong that the Physical Guardian Spirits since they have more control abilities.
Every person has the capability to make their Guardian Spirits stronger, but there are still many who choose not to.
As for the prior Nekora''s experiences, she was born and raised by loving parents who would do everything they could in order to make her happy. She would have most definately been able to live a long life with them at her side, but the sad truth is that her days were numbered ever since she was born with an incurable desease that even the most renouned doctor, Katie, didn''t know what it was. In essence, she was doomed to die at a young age.
Well, Nekora did die, but, somehow, Nekora had taken the soulless body as her own.
When Nekora finally absorbed all of the memories, she felt that the coldness was now gone, so she quickly moved her arm to move the fabric that was covering her head away. She sat up and was about to stretch her stiff muscles when she heared a frightened scream.
"Ahhhh!"
Nekora looked over at the old doctor and gave a wide smile. "Shhh! Shhh! It''s ok. It''s ok. I''m not a zombie nor a ghost. Come here and see. I am perfectly alive and well."
Chapter 2: Royal Visitor
Cal settled Sarah into the bed with gentle hands. He sat down at the edge of the bed when he was satisfied with his wife''s position. His gaze was fixed on a wall as he recalls memories of the past.
"I guess that, at that time, we didn''t leave fast enough." Cal heaved a heavy sigh before he looked back onto the beautiful woman''s face. "Because of our actions, it has cost us our daughter''s life."
He couldn''t bring himself to speak of the matter anymore, so he got up and left the room. It was at that moment that he heard the doctors terrified scream. Cal furrowed his eyebrows as he hurridly ran over to where he last remembered where she was at.
His steps faultered when he saw the small girl sitting straight up on the bed, his face revealed his surprise.
Nekora gently smiled. "Father! I''m awake now, so there is no need for you to worry."
Cal stayed rooted for a few moments before everything properly registered in his mind. His heart felt as though a huge weight had been lifted, and he felt extremely happy. He opened up his arms welcomingly as he rushed over to the bed, and he hugged her tightly, unwilling to see her go once again. "Nekora! It''s so great that you are alive. Your mother would be extremely relieved."
Nekora hugged her father back. "I won''t leave again. I won''t allow myself to cause the people I love pain!"
Nekora''s words came from her heart. Even though she hasn''t been with this new family of hers for a long time, the memories that was from the previous owner of the body was already firmly intergrated with her own soul, so it feel like she has known them all of her life. The prior Nekora lloved them to death, so the new Nekora would naturally do the same unless they turn out to become backstabbers likethey were.If you stumble upon this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road. Please report it.
Their moment of peace was soon interrupted when a male servant came inside. "Master. His Royal Highness, King Mike, wishes for an audiance."
Cal''s head perked up quickly. "Where is he right now?" He asked with urgancy in his voice.
"He is waiting in the garden''s platio. He also informend me to tell you ''this is an urgant matter that involves your daughter and my son.'' His son, Crown Prince Jasper, is also with him." The servant informed calmly.
"Did you make sure to keep them occupied with some beverage and someone else to speak to?"
"Master has no need to worry. Everything has already been arranged."
"Good. You may leave now." Cal raised up, and looked affectionately at his daughter. "Are you well enough to walk to the garden?"
Nekora nodded her head vigorously. "Yes, father."
Cal gave a gentle smile and helped Nekora out of the bed. They both head to the garden as fast as they could.
***
Two luxuriously dressed men were chatting up a storm as they drank some tea that was given to them, and they seem to be arguing over something. One of the men was nearing his 40''s while the other one was in his early 20''s. One could tell that the younger man was extraordinarially handsome while the older man once was handsome in his youth.
The younger of the duo balled his fists. "How come you never told me about this arrangement before?! Don''t you think that as your son, I deserve to know about matters such as this?!" His anger was soaring, but it was being controlled by a large amount of willpower.
The older man just stroked his long beard with his fingers. "You need to calm down, Jasper! If the citizens of our Scarlet Kingdom find out about this side of you, they will immediately riot against you before you can ascend to the throne."
The king''s words made Jasper''s eyes widen slightly, before they wen''t back to normal. His temperment slowly calmed down to the point to where there was no sign that he was boiling with anger just a few seconds ago. "You are correct father. I should have known better."
The king looked off to the distence. "Your cool down was done at perfect timing. They are here."
Jasper calmly looked over to where his father''s gaze was at, and his eyes flashed with immense ridicule and disdain before it was quickly replaced with a gentle smile. "My, I thank the heavens that I am able to be in the presence of both of you. Master Cal and Young Mistress Nekora looks very escuisite today as they always do."
