Actually it could be said to be the most terrifying tsunami ever happened, yet they named it the great flood *mumbles* dumb humans *mumbles*. So basically, the great flood swept almost everything on its way. Starting from innocent animals, the spoiled endangered animals, the fucking cockroaches too, hopefully they became extinct, and many other animals or should i say most of the animals, except penguins. Not only animals, trees, plants, technology, ongoing projects, and everything that could be swept, wouldnt miss the wrath of the water, except penguins. Why penguins didnt get swept? Because they were cute little animals that walk awkwardly and cutely, so i think no extinction for penguins. Actually how the hell did the tsunami suddenly appear on earth? Only the north poles and south poles held the most water on earth. Well, lets just say that the tsunami miraculously appear, there was no way those cute awkward little animals triggered the tsunami. So, thats what slowing down the technology development. Luckily about 1/3 population on earth was saved because they were on a plane or on a boat. After around 1 month, the water miraculously got absorbed by the earth and gone forever. Everything was a mess, destruction of the lands, no animals, no cars, no asphalt, no city but ruined city, at least there were still penguins. Some researchers that was safe also reached a new height in the genetic modifications, so they made animals directly from the animals that didnt die, but it would take a very long time to cover the earth with animals like back then. Finally, about the teleporter, most researcher were already giving up on it because almost all of the data and hypotheses before the great flood were destroyed along with many prototypes, so they gave up for now and just focused on the necessary technology first. But of course, there were also people that never gave up, but every one of them failed most of the time. One of them actually, a young one, quite successful in many of his experiment, but nobody knew that, except him, and his 2 annoying friends. Finally, my teleporter is almost ready, just need 1 or 2 more years! Fantasy world, wait for me! Gahahaha *cough, cough, cough* A young man in his twenties that was just laughing grandly, choked on his own saliva and now coughed dramatically. His facial structure was covered by his long dark brown hair but one of his purple eye could be seen peeking from some of the bangs. His research lab coat was messy and all around him were papers, engineering tools, cogs, and many more engineering objects. The room he is in was filled with steel colored paint and made with unknown material. But the most strange thing was the brown wooden door that looked out of place with all of the steel colored paint. Why he didnt paint that, we would never know. Finally, the most interesting things were the flat circle teleporter in front of- Hey buddy! Dont be inside your room all day, lets hang out! The wooden door. That was stepped by the young man entering the lab by kicking the wooden door. EH??!! WHY THE HELL DID YOU PUT IT IN FRONT OF THE DOOOOR--- And engulfed the man in a bright light of white. Chapter 1 - The Sky is Blue?! Shit! All the more reason to speed this up! Screw you Tethra, now i gotta rush this project. Hopefully the destination wont change The long haired young man, Friche, got frustated by his friend antics. Actually, he just moved the teleporter temporarily to find some papers, but Tethra just came at the really right time... or wrong time. Anyway now, he couldnt take this easy anymore, he had to save that annoying friend of his. Actually he couldnt even remember how the hell did they even became friend. At first, he was just going to casually continue his late dads project while socializing. But when he saw that it was a teleporter project, he suddenly got an idea to get to another world with the teleporter and there were no need to wait for summons or reincarnation. So, he got very excited and even ignored social life. He always rejected his friends'' invitation to hang out. He never talked much because he was always thinking about the project. And he pretty much go home instantly after class ended so, he got no friend, they even avoided him. Then they came to his life. Tethra and his friend. No, there were no bullying or something cliche. They just came out of nowhere and started bugging him. At first he ignored them. But they were persistent, they even followed him all the way to his lab. They amused him when he was a bit bored. They motivated him when he got depressed. They delivered foods and drinks to him so he could concentrate on the project better. They even gave him some idea when he was out of idea. Of course, after all 2 years they got together, they grew on Friche. Not just that, he really cared a lot about them, just like a relative or even closer. He even considered the idea of inviting them to the fantasy world with him so they could be friends forever. But, he didnt want to destroy their future here just because he wanted them to be together forever, so he only considered it, and would only act on it after the teleporter finished. Now that he thought about it again, the one he should save wasnt Tethra, that annoying bastard did whatever he wanted, so if he got to another world without a leash... SHIT! My ideal fantasy world! Tethra i will kill you if it got destroyed by you! And he worked even faster than fast. =====-------===== A young man suddenly appeared in a bright white light. The young man in his early twenties wore a casual outfit for going out, an orange t-shirt, a hoodie, a cargo shorts, and a running shoes. The man had a pair of exotic blue eyes and his face is considered quite handsome (self-procalimed). He looked around and noticed that he was inside some sort of forest. Everytime he turned around, there were only trees. The place he was standing on looked to be some sort of clearing.Unauthorized duplication: this narrative has been taken without consent. Report sightings. Huh? I think there are no forest like this on earth, where is this? Well, at least Friches teleporter worked well, i think i got no missing organs or limbs Tethra casually walked around a bit, but suddenly he noticed something. The sky is blue??!!! Actually, because of the great flood, some strange phenomenons appeared on earth. Like the noon sky became purple, and the night sky became even darker than usual, and so on. Now after seeing the blue sky, of course Tethra would be surprised, no well he should be shocked because he was no longer on earth but well, maybe he got strong mental strength. IM NOT ON EARTH??!! So, just a late response. Tethra calmed down a bit after that. He never thought that he would be transported... teleported to another world like in many novels he had read. He got excited thinking about all of the magic he could learn, but he suddenly thought of Friche and Reira. They must be worried about him. "Well, they know i''m a tough bastard, i will just wait for them in this world" Now he should just worry about his own predicament of what to do. Now, what should i do? While thinking of that, a bright light came out of his hoodie''s inner pocket. From there, a book flew out. Ah, my book! No! Its my hardwork of searching and writing almost all of the mythical beings name! The book flew and suddenly something very fast struck the book. He didnt even get the chance to see what struck the book and it already fell back to the ground powerlessly. Phew, nothing happened i hope Just as he was about to reach for the book, thunder fell from the sky and struck the book, again. Ethereal chains came out of nowhere and bound the book, and ethereal sphere also surrounded the book while it flew to the sky slowly. NOO! MY BOOK! EVEN IF YOURE GOD OR SOMETHING, NOTHING CAN TAKE THE BOOK FROM ME! I suppose... Mumbling the last line, Tethra jumped to the book and hugged it protectively. The book struggled for sometime but finally it calmed down and the ethereal sphere that surrounded it also disappeared. My book! Please, dont let anything happen... Slowly opening the book, Tethra found a blank page. A glass breaking sound could be heard from inside of Tethra. No, no, no, no.... dont tell me... Unfortunately, the universe would never be kind to MCs, so what would happen, everybody already knew, even Tethra himself. Opening the next page while trembling, Tethra found a blank page too. Frantically opening all the pages, Tethra found nothing. NOOOOOOOOOO! dramatically kneeling, Tethra repeatedly pounded the ground in depression. After a long time pounding the ground, Tethra suddenly stood up. No trace of depression could be seen on his face. Wow, cool mood switch. Well, i will just write another after i got back to earth, i just hope Friche can come here faster Suddenly the book glowed and got attracted to a direction. What? This book can move now?! Cool! Lets follow the attraction Following the attraction, after walking and avoiding tree branch for around 100 metres, Tethra found a big stone. The stone was tall and wide. It had height of 10''2" and width of 7''. The huge stone had a carved drawing. It was the drawing of a woman, with artificial wings on his back jumping from a cliff. As a myth anthusiast, Tethra found this drawing to be very familiar... just with a different gender. He had already memorized almost all of earth''s myth, of course he would know what that is. Icarus? Chapter 2 - Earth, dont Sue This World! Uh no, its a female... maybe its Icaria? Confused by the gender, Tethra wondered out lout. Reaching his hand to the drawings on the stone, Tethra slowly traced the carvings with his fingers fondly. Icarus... Right after he spoke that line, the book in his hand glowed and opened the first page. The stone also glowed at the same time. Then, the carved drawing on the stone flew to the air above Tethra and it slowly changed to characters. R.. U.. S.. I.. C.. A.. Rusica... so the name of Icarus here is Rusica... The words shuffled then fell to the glowing book at the first page. The first page now had 2 sentences. The first one is some kind of title at the top of the page and the second one is Icarus below the title. The book then closed by itself. Tethra suddenly woke up from his trance. He got surprised by the everything that happened before. His got too immersed by the feeling before that he went into a trance. The stone glowed when i say the right name of the heroes, and the book absorbed the drawing? Happily opening the book, Tethra found a title and the word Icarus on the first page of the book. Wooooh, so i just have to find all heroes drawing in this world to finish the book? Awesome, i dont have to go back to earth again! Again, Tethra got his priorities wrong. Wait, so all of the heroes here are the parody of earths myth? Really funny, i hope earth wont sue this world See, his priorities was messed up. Noticing another sentence on the book, Tethra checked the title on the first page. Chapter One : The Heaven Defying Heroes Cool name! So what is this about, a magic grimoire? A blue arm with round white hand without fingers could be seen holding the impromptu coat. So, i can use Icarus now? Icarus!. Closing the book while throwing it above, the book changed to particles and the particles entered his bodies. Strength filled his body, and even more strength filled his foot. Now he felt like that his body was as strong as a bear, maybe more, he didnt know because he hadnt fought a bear yet. Nobody knew who named it, really uncreative. But every new generations respected their ancestors, so nobody changed that name because they feared the revenge that would be brought upon them from the descendants. What was that thunder, Elder Pan? A disciple asked respectfuly but with a confused face. The young men all wore a white robe and the old man flying wore a black robe with two white strip from left shoulder to right hips. Additionally, they all bore the symbol of a circle with wide crack in the middle and inside the crack, some kind of light could be seen peeking out. They were all the disciples of Divine Ravine of Hope Sect that is located around 10 kilometres from the area where Tethra landed. They were actually the nearest sect there, and as soon as the sect master saw that heavenly thunder, he decided to let an Elder bring some outer disciples to get new experience while the true mission is for the Elder to find out what treasure was birthed there. Actually, The Stoney Forest held no monster because of something, no one knew what that is but monsters avoided that forests. That was also the reason Sect Master told Elder Pan to bring some outer disciples for experience, because they would never got killed by monsters in a forest without monsters. The first thought that came to his mind was the cruchs priest from another world. But after a careful inspection, he saw that the old man wore a black robe and he hovered around 1 metre above ground, so there would be no way that they were the churchs army. Then a second thought crossed his mind. Shit, I came to a xianxia world??!! Chapter 3 - Cloudy with a Chance of Raindrops From what he had known from xianxia novels, practitioners tend to disdain mortals and by now, he didnt even have a shred of qi. Rather, to Tethra, this thin dome looked more powerful than the wall. Dont go underestimating the wall. It is layered with even more protection rune, you just cant see it with naked eyes because it has been hid. This dome is just the weakest protection layer of this city, like an alarm if there is an invasion of monsters Lan Bao informed Tethra about the wall because most people always downgraded it in their eyes. Tethra now had a whole new respect for the one who created this city, or at least the defensive mechanism. They really thought it so well. They passed the guard easily because the guard seemed to worship Elder Pan for a reason Tethra didnt know. Its Elder Pan, he just brought a mortal in after bringing him with his teleportation spell. He really is kind! Yeah, he really is the kindest Elder ever existed. There has been too many people that he helped, if every people he helped entered this city, maybe it will be filled to the brim Of course, Elder Pan is just that kind! The guards whispered something behind their backs, but they are already walked far away so they didnt hear the talk. Along the way, while Elder Pan got kind smile and a nod every time he passed a pedestrian, Tethra curiously looked at the surrounding. The buildings didnt have the feeling of sci-fi because they are just like normal buildings in earth before the great flood. Rather, the protective film of every building interested him because it was very sci-fi like. While walking he also noticed the method mortals used to transport here. They used hovering buses that stopped at a certain point once in a while and some people also used hoverboards. The qi heart is very self-sufficient, it power up most machine on this city but it can also absorb the residue from the machine and change it again to qi to power it Ke Long had heartfelt admiration towards the system that maintained the qi heart. Tethra was just about to dodge the Rhino with Instant Movement but got stopped by a loud howl from the Rhino. This howl is different from its roar of pain.It sounded more like howl of intense rage. The Bladed Rhino then got smaller to become around 1 story tall and started to stand up by using his 2 back feet. His 2 front feet got longer and shifted to the side. Its fingers on the front feet grew and become like humans fingers with claws. It then took both of its horns on the head with its hands and used it like swords. The Rhino looked at Tethra with burning rage from its eyes. Ehhhhh??? It could transform to humanoid form too?! Shit, you are already OP enough in beast form and now you can transform to humanoid?! Chapter 13 - Utensils are Weapons too! Humanoid Form is one of the reasons Bladed Rhino got ranked as a 6th grade monster. A humanoid body may seem weaker than the beast body. But actually, using humanoid form doesnt reduce that much strength, rather it increases their agility and flexibility.
