《The Bloody Legion》
1. The Beginning
Tristan was standing in a dark room. You could smell the fine brandy and cigar smoke emanating from the man in front of him.
"Ok."
"What do you mean ''ok''?"
This man, also known as God, just told Tristan he was going to another world and had the oppoutunity to create a new race.
God was suprised at the reaction of the boy. The other candidates where astonished when he told them of this. But this one simply complied.Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
Tristan was not very emotional, he was always more calculative and analytical. The only emotions he truly felt were satisfaction and bloodlust, leading to a quite lonely childhood.
"Well I guess that response is fine too."
God snapped his fingers and the room suddenly turned into a white plane with a blank mannequin in the middle.
| Please choose special attributes for your race. |
After going through a painfully long process of blue screens and morphing the mannequin, his creation was standing in front of him.
An 8''4 humanoid with red skin and horns curving forward from the sides of it''s head. Tristan tried to create the most war-ready species possible. They have god-like regeneration and superior muscles. They have the ability to use blood magic and fire magic.
"Well I''m done."
"Are you now?"
Tristan looked over to God, he was leaning on his hand dosing off and uninterestingly looking at the process.
2. Confrontation
In front of Tristan was around 4000 legionnaires, the race he created, in the middle of a thick forest.
The forest contained twisting oak-like trees from his previous world.
Each of the legionnaires were only wearing a large belts with long cloths hanging from them, forming some sort of skirt.
Tristan was also turned into a legionnaire, however he was easily taller than the others. His skin was also darker, and his horns longer.
When he was talking to God he told him that he was going to be an abnormal. He was going to be eternal and be both the religious leader, and the political leader. A God-king figure.
He designed each sex differently. The females were designed to be efficient manual laborers while requiring little resources. The males were designed to be monstrous, undying, perfect warriors.
The females had improved endurance and required less food and water (more for me!) than an average human. The males had tougher skin and insanely good regeneration, their muscles were much more powerful. The average legionnaire was as strong as 100 normal humans. Legionnaires also had a special aura that they output.
This aura slowly impacts the tools and equipment they use making them stronger and in-tune with the user.Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings.
The legionnaires, though insanely strong and adaptable, were quite stupid making most of their process through a ¡®monkey see, monkey do¡¯ process.
¡°All of you!¡± their eyes turned attentively towards Tristan, ¡°Go hunt and gather food, we must survive.¡±

A week has passed since then.
The Legion, the name I have chosen for our collective, has changed.
We have gone to farming heavy starches and mining iron ore. We¡¯ve also made a settlement, nearby a river to the west of our ¡®spawnpoint¡¯.
Alchemy also exists in this world, no not the ¡®mix things and make a potion¡¯ but the ¡®make an alchemic circle and transmute¡¯. Using and teaching this to the others I created basic weapons for the army.
The standard legionnaire has a large tower shield and a long poleaxe. I say long, but it looks like a short spear for them. And the shields look more like a metal wall than a shield. They wore no armor, only using their natural protections as defense.
Also there were some more prominent members of the Legion. Dahlia, an average female legionnaire, proved to be very prominent in flame magic and became the first battle-witch, the Legion¡¯s equivalent of a mage.
Drav, a male with slightly darker skin than normal, had the ability to use shadow magic outside
of the normal fire and blood magics legionnaires were able to use.
¡°My lord!¡±
I looked up seeing a soldier in front of me.
¡°Hmm?¡±
¡°Some creatures are approaching, they seem dangerous¡¡±
¡°Show me.¡±
I was promptly taken to the front of our village in the distance I could see around 15,000 humans armed with iron plate armor and basic swords and shields.
¡°Hah hah hah¡ Hah Hah Hah¡ HAHAHAHAHA¡¡± I was profusely happy and relieved that something would happen.
¡°Prepare 600 men to defend if needed.¡± Time for negotiations.
3."Diplomacy"

I was scared¡
This mission was supposed to be easy. It was simple, we would go to the south in search of more resources and subjugate or enslave any sub-humans we came across.
In front of our troop was a small village bordering a single mountain.
But that isn¡¯t what scares me¡
There are around 500 creatures in front of us, all at least 8 feet tall, with poleaxes a grown man couldn¡¯t wield. With the combination of large black horns and crimson skin, I could tell that they easily intimidated my subordinates.
But that isn¡¯t what scares me...
What scares me is that they are in a formation of some sort and have finely processed metals. This is only something that humans and demi-humans should be capable of, not lowly sub-humans, who usually just try and swarm their opponents.

Their formation parted almost perfectly, and one passed through.
This one¡¯s horns were longer and also curved upwards near the end.
It calmly walked towards our army.
¡°Who dares trespass on the god-king¡¯s land?¡±
¡°T-This land belongs to the human kingdom of Est-¡± One of the frontliners tried to speak to the it but...
¡°This land belongs to the Legion, not you invaders!¡±
The footman¡¯s head could be easily seen from my position, high above the others.
¡°For the God-king!¡±
¡°For the God-king!¡±
¡°For the God-king!¡±
I heard a battle cry among the enemy warriors, this is going to be a problem.

/Tristan P.O.V./
I was currently standing on the mountainside watching the events of the battle. It was in our favor and in expectations.
Any wounds the enemy soldiers could deal, were instantaneously healed. With the large attack area of the poleaxes each swing from our side killed 3 or 4 men. The enemies were quickly being pushed back and none of our soldiers have died yet.
I could alse see various flames and red auras burst on the frontlines. Legionnaires naturally have access to two magics: fire magic and blood magic.
Fire magic is self-explanatory, but blood magic isn¡¯t the ritual magic of sacrifice and the like, but more on the lines of bloodlust and slaughter.
A legionnaire had to choose between one of the two magics, otherwise the magics would be weak and borderline useless. There were abnormals and irregularities of course, those who could use both paths or even a new magic in itself.
However I created the Legionnaires to be living war machines, fire and blood seemed to be the best option for that.
I have given the order to try and surround the opposing army and prevent them from escaping. Time for slaves galore. Free production and a workforce, sweet.
4.Persuasion
Now time for my favorite part.
¡°Tell me everything about your kingdom.¡±
*Spit*(Lol I didn¡¯t know a spit sound)
Wiping of the spit on my face and gesturing to my guards to stand down, I turned back to their leader.
¡°Well you chose this path...Go fetch me Drav.¡±
¡°Yes your majesty.¡±
One of my guards quickly follows my order, such obedient servants.
¡°Well I suppose I¡¯ll start without him.¡±This book''s true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
We are currently on a wooden platform near the middle of the village.
Some of the females were handling other ¡®persuasive¡¯ sessions, and overseeing the work the slaves were doing.
I had ordered some alchemists I¡¯ve trained to make thin, nail-like, objects to use for torturing.
I put one of these in a nearby fire, to inflict as much pain as possible.
****
Too easy.
All they needed was a little pain and they would chirp like birds.
Apparently the world is like this.
The humans, easily conquering as the only race that has access to magic, found another race with magic, the elves.
Elves and dwarves are categorized into demi-human because they can use magic.
Sub-humans were sentient beings that couldn¡¯t use magic.
There have always been political conflicts between the demi-humans and the humans, but they remained out of eachother¡¯s way militarily.
It seems that the humans ventured out to obtain more land and resources.
Oh I also forgot to mention that dungeons exist.
But there is another problem¡
I¡¯m so bored!
I¡¯ve set up an administrative system so I don¡¯t have to do all the work but the administrators don¡¯t give me any work to do!
So I thought that I would venture out into this world bringing only two or three people.
