A youth voiced out as he rubbed his head.the youth looked about 19 and had black hair and black pupils while still looking strikingly handsome.(not that he noticed and always thought otherwise) If anybody saw this youth they would know that he was one of the legends in city C ''the Joker'' a gambling god that appeared 3 years ago and had beaten almost all the ''experts'' in gambling while not even concentrating.Love this story? Chapter 2 First Blood *in the cube room* "Sir,change on minor planet Earth has started. Monsters have started spawning. Reporting average Lv of monsters is huh???" The voice questioned as though it saw a mistake in a report it was reading. "Calm down and report the average Lv." The humanoid coaxed patiently as it sat on an invisible sit. Jack scrambled out of the kitchen and saw an antique sword hanging in his living room. Dad said that this was a famous warlords weapon and he got it cheap

"Dad you got cheated... Who cares! I might die soon!" Jack said as he grabbed it. Jack turned around to see the green monster growling and ready to pounce on Jack. "Grahh!!!" The monster growled as it jumped at Jack claws front. Jack swung his sword upwards as hard as he could and managed to almost sever the monsters arm as the sword had almost broken through the bone. Jack did not get off with nothing as he had 3 deep gashes on his chest. "Fuck!Fuck! That''s bloody painful!" Jack screamed a totally manly scream (not). Jack looked towards he''s attacker and saw it squirming on the ground holding its almost severed arm while screaming and the floor was covered in its green blood.

"This could be quite useful to get away. Ok time to find out more about what happened." Jack turned on his laptop and opened the internet. Electricity was cut due to unknown reasons. On the internet, forums were filled with people spamming about how it was the end of the world or that it was god punishing the people. Jack continued skipping the spam to read useful information. Half of city A was destroyed by something that looked like a dragon. People that got close said it was a greater black wyrm with a Lv with three question marks. City B was being invaded by an army of wolves with a supposed named Lv 90 big white wolf. City Centre,the city Jack is in is being destroyed by a fight between a chimera and an army of goblins. City D was... As Jack read through the forum, he began to plan what he should do. Jack does not have many friends as he quit school when his parents passed away in a car accident leaving Jack a gigantic sum of money. Jack dropped out of school and spend most of his time learning card tricks and how to gamble. Surprisingly Jack realised he had a knack for gambling and that was how he spend the rest of his days. First Jack looked out of his two story building and outside was carnage incarnation as there were people''s body parts and blood littered on the street outside his gates and thanked the heavens he did not go out. There were many goblins outsides doing unforgettable scenes. One goblin was killing a baby while letting the mother watch while another was raping a body that lacked almost half of it while the other half was lost in the mountain of body parts all over the place. Jack almost puked seeing what was happening outside. Jack did some breathing exercise he was thought when young to stay calm and planned what he would do next. Jack decided to make a checklist on what he should do.

Ever since his parent''s death, he gave up on most things and he sometimes did not eat or drink anything and Kelly was always there for him. She cooked for him interacted with him so he did not think of doing something stupid and even saved him once when he forgot to eat and drink something for a few days. He literally owed his life to her. Jack picked out a Camo patterned backpack that Kelly had given him for a birthday present even though he did not use it and headed to the kitchen while ignoring the cold body of the goblin with it''s guts and gory bits sticking out from it. Jack picked out a few sharp knifes that could be used for throwing and ignored ones that were too big to be thrown as he had his antique sword which had better stats. He made an improvised knife holder around his belt and started stuffing energy bars and water bottles into his bag. Enough to sustain him but not heavy enough to impact his movement. He had many energy bars as he always said that as long as it provided him with energy it was good enough for him which made Kelly rebuke him several times about it. Jack than decided to check his house for anything else he could use after changing out of his torn clothe and found a few interesting stuff

Chapter 5 Kelly *street outside Jack''s house* Jack saw that apart from a few occasional goblins, there was a noticeable difference in the number of goblins. The street was littered with body parts and the stench was heavy enough to make Jack gag. Jack decided to make a break for the opposite side of the street and into an alley. He looked through the skills he had and made a plan. Jack used Fortunas dice roll and a illusionary dice appeared on his palm of his hand. Jack silently picked agility and rolled the dice. The dice landed on 3. Jack mentally calculated that 16¡Á3 is 48. Jack felt like his body felt lighter and he felt he could jump higher. Jack felt excited and activated camouflage. Jack than opened the metal gate quietly and stepped into the bloody battleground that is the street. "Okay ,3 ,2, 1. Go." He than dashed as fast as he could across the 40 meter street. Just as he was running, he did not notice an arm on the floor and kicked it,sending it flying and attracting attention from the 5 goblins that were near him. Jack upon noticing this ran as fast as he could to the alley. Upon entering the alley and Turing around he saw that the 5 goblins had followed him.

The goblin warriors looked like the scouts, ugly but they were bigger and looked stringer. The five goblins decided to charge Jack. Jack upon seeing this took his antique sword and leapt forward swinging the sword. The next thing that happened surprised everybody. A fountain of green blood was spurting out of one of the goblin warriors neck as its surprised eyes began to lose its luster. Just like that one was dead. Jack and the goblins were all surprised and were stunned for a while staring at the goblin. Jack got over the shock faster and decided to take advantage of the situation and strike the goblins. Jack lunged froward planning on taking a goblin warrior''s neck. The goblin warrior noticed it but was too late to respond as it helplessly watched the sword slice past its neck and this time more cleanly than the one before. At first there was nothing but soon a line appeared at the goblin warriors neck before the lump of a head of the goblin''s fell of its shoulder and onto the ground where it rolled around spraying blood onto its companions. The goblins decided to lunge towards the human that had killed two of its kind with a growl. Jack tried piercing his sword forward towards one of the goblin''s chest. The sword penetrated the goblins skin and pierced into its heart killing it instantly. Jack made a hurried bandaging to stop the blood. "They better drop some good loot or else... Or else what?" He asked himself " Who cares. I will slaughter them? But if the loot is not good why would i waste time slaughtering them.AH!!! Who cares." Jack looked at the three corpes and picked up what he could find.

"There is Kelly''s house. Pls be okay!" Jack kept repeating to himself as he activated camouflage again and made his way above the wall towards Kelly''s house. Jack finally reached Kelly''s house and was stunned to see that the door was broken inwards. He hurriedly jumped off the wall into Kelly''s front yard where he saw Kelly''s father. Or to be more precise what was left of him as the body''s head was smashed and the body mangled. The only way he could tell who it was, was because his phone was right beside him crushed. Jack pried his eyes away from the ghastly scene and rushed into the house. Jack saw blood stains all over the living room and saw Kelly''s mother''s body desecrated on the floor. She clearly was killed cruelly. Jack''s worry was almost overwhelming as he rushed to search the house. Luckily for him, whatever had the strength to smash a skull with one hit had left. Jack finally made it to the second floor,where he saw some blood leading to Kelly''s room which was locked. Jack hurriedly kicked the door which broke it and rushed into the room. There she was. The usual black haired ,sky blue eyes beauty was not there, instead the deathly pale girl was unconscious and there was a bloody wound on her waist. Above her head, was her name with her hp at a dangerous 3/40. Jack hurriedly rushed to her and took out a hp potion and tried making her drink the hp potion. However no matter what he did she would not swallow. Jack finally decided on something and drank the hp potion and placed his lips onto the unconscious girls lips and forced the girl to swallow. Jack did not let up until she swallowed everything. Jack stared at the unconscious beauty''s face and saw that her hp was above 30 and smiled. He just held her and did nothing else. Chapter 6 reunion *Kelly''s room* *Kelly''s pov Kelly opened her eyes slowly, she thought she was hallucinating as she saw familiar person with a concerned look on his face. "Jack! Why are you here?" Kelly suddenly sat up banging against the Jack''s face. They both cringed from the sudden pain with one rubbing his chin and one rubbing her forehead. Kelly remembered that the day started of on a bad note with her father being fired and being the sole breadwinner of the family with no job meant bad news. Kelly remembered that her father tried to get out of his bad mood by washing the car than suddenly a notification came and said ''change'' was happening. Kelly suddenly heard her father shout followed by a crash sound. Kelly and her mother rushed out to see blood all over the place like a burst water balloon and a mangled body on the floor. Hanging over the body was a giant pig headed man. His body was filled with muscle and his face looked hideously ugly. In his hand was a giant mallet with blood and gore on one of the mallets face. "Run Kelly run!" Her mother screamed at her. Kelly started running towards her room on the second floor she saw something that looked like the body of her mother fly past her and land in the living room. She continued to run to her room and proceeded to lock the door. When she thought she was safe, from behind her, a goblin had spawned in her room. The goblin upon seeing Kelly rushed at her. Kelly tried turning away but was slashed at her waist with a deep gash. After that was a blur and all she saw was.

After that she fainted on her bed as she bled. That''s all she remembered. Upon remembering about what happened to her parents, she could not take it and a torrent of tears fell from her eyes. She leaned onto Jack and cried, yelling about the injustice that happened to her. All she heard was "Its okay, from now on nothing would hurt you. I promise." She continued to weep on Jack''s shirt. *Jack pov* Jack was a bit shocked at what happened. She just woke up stared at him for a while before starting to cry on his chest. Not knowing what to do. Jack began to fidget and plan his escape route and yet the more he thought the more he felt that it was impossible. Chapter 7 pure love? "How could this happen to me?" Jack questioned himself. Jack was kneeling before Kelly as he spilt what he and done to her. However, what Jack did not know was that there was a happy grin of Kelly''s face as he was looking down. "It is fine. I know you were trying to save me. Anyway, while we are on the topic, what do you think of me?" Kelly asked sweetly. "My best friend!" Jack instantly answered without any hesitation. Jack suddenly felt a sharp jolt to his stomache. He saw that Kelly had kicked him. Kelly was giving him a cold look and looked honestly scary. "Your best friend?!? After all I''ve done for you and you even ,even did that to me. Take responsibility!" Kelly shouted at Jack as a blush began to appear on her beautiful face that made Jack almost drool. "Fine! Kelly would you be my girl friend?" Jack asked strongly at first but began to sound weak at the end. With Jack''s looks, getting a girlfriend was quite easy (not that he noticed) but before his parent''s death,he was too busy studying to concentrate on boy-girl relationships and after their death,it was even worse and he did not meet any other girls around his age excluding Kelly hence Jack was not experienced with this kind of things at all. "That''s better! Now what should we do?" Kelly asked with a satisfied grin on her face.
