 1. Recall and Observe

 2. Impending Doom

One man was engulfed by the water ball and was imprisoned


    inside. The other two menaggressively rush towards the old guy but the old guydraw a 5 2 metershorizontal line


    in front of him and shouted LUDONGA LUMLILO! 5 layers of fire erupt from 5 horizontal lines. The menhalted


    their action since they can''t see whats beyond since the fire wallwas about 4 meters tall.

    The old guy was sweating very hard. He was wheezing. I can even heard several meters away from him. He grab

    coming towards where I hide.My tears is running down as if there is no tomorrow. I don''t even know if I squeak


    since all I ever heard is my own heartbeat. Few minutes later, a big sword was impaled on the ground just one


    feet away from me. My eyes is getting blurry. When I look at where the sword hit, it seems like it hit a yellow


    horned rabbit. The rabbit was hit its head was transversely which it separate its skull. Some of its brain particles are


    sticking at the edge of the sword.


    The sword was withdrawn and the guy groaned and shouted let''s go!


    Its been several hours since the men left. All of the sudden I heard a growl. I peek again and I saw 3 black bear with three horns on its forehead. The creature standing around 4 meters and ate the old man''s remain. I think I am about to vomit but I control myself. The bears just engorges the corpse for a couple of minutes then left. Even the blood was almost licked dry.

    I think I am being paranoid. I just can''t let go of the thought of those men who decapitate the old guy. I was so scared that I always look my back just in case those brutal men are following me. I sat down for a bit not because of tiredness but because my legs are shaking. Even thought your growth will be slow after the third rank, I think you will find a way to hasten it during your travel in the future.

They have similar features with the old guy. He also have similar features with his sister except that his sister is 5 feet and 7 inches tall.

    I stand up and went to the kitchen. I use a wooden stall and step on it, so that the kitchen table will level at my waistline. I checked all the ingredients, all I can see are tons of herbs, eggs, flour and a fruit that looks like dates. I tried to taste it and surprisingly it taste sweet, it almost as sweet as pineapple honey. I place two cups of off white flour. It seems like the flour has tons of impurity in it. I broke two eggs and mixed it along with the flour. I chopped 5 pieces of the dates like fruit and mix it along with the flour and egg. I saw a wooden cup with a block of white stuff; the texture is a bit greasy. This must be lard, then I smile.


    I placed eight pancakes on the table.

 7. Bravery 1

    --------------7 years have passed


    One of the most depressing situation that I imagine is that I did not rank up. It seems like there are some sort of situation, actions or maybe food that I need to eat in order to meet the requirements. I asked the old guy about what I think but he said he does not know. Both of his children are Isibini Igorha. Revon has a Gnome knight stance and Silva has a Knight stance. Anyway, I am still 11 years old so there is still tons of improvement.


    For the past few years, I¡¯ve been exercising such as jogging and also learning some basic swordplay from Revon. I don¡¯t want to use magic for every fight, I might run out of mana or natural energy which might place me in disadvantage situation.


    It seems like the late Baron Lucas is a herbalist and an alchemist. This is based on the journal that he left. It seems like a list of plants with it desirable and undesirable effect. He also wrote in the journal the specific way on how to prepare some medicine. It is clear and concise. Although, he did not use a metric system, he used the household materials and even draws it precisely in his journal. I checked the household materials and yes he has it, even the opening of the cup he used in one of the journal is perfectly drawn.


    Few months back I asked Eliah if I can have the herbal journal and he said yes, since no one will use it anyway. I was so happy because I really want to create a medicine for burns, infection or any kinds of treatment. Based on the surrounding, the world¡¯s medical or technological advancement is equivalent to the Roman period or before that, in my previous life but this is just my first assessment because who knows the other continent might be more advance. Still, I will not expect a very high assessment later in terms of advancement since this world are driven by thought of magic to the point of disregarding the technological advancement.


    Me and the old guy were eating when we heard a huge explosion. Revon was in front the door in a serious face.

    Revon rush towards the brute guy, using his claymore like sword he swing it in a horizontal way then the brute guy uses his sword like a spring to lift his entire body into the mid air and manage to evade it. Revon managed to stop his swing half way then he shouted ¡® GROUND GEYSER!¡¯ by impaling the ground by his sword he use his will energy and let it pass from the blade until it reaches the tip of the sword, by concentrating the energy at the tip of the swordhe created an explosion from the ground with the diameter of 1 meter and as high as 5 meters.


    The brute guy was hit by the ground explosion but he managed to coat himself a ¡®earth cover¡¯. An earth cover is a type of pure will energy that let the user engulf by the will of the gnome¡¯s knight.


    ¡°ha ha ha ha ha, AMAZING!, you are worthy to be killed by me!¡± brute guy said.


    ¡°......Why did you killed the Baron?¡±, I asked calmly.


    ¡°Order from someone, he he he he, If you asked me who then my answer is I don¡¯t know¡±, brute man said it.¡± And besides you will die here anyway, so what¡¯s the fuss? I will slice your head, the same way I killed your beloved master. Ha ha ha ha, I can still remember his eyes popping after I place his head in the bag¡±, the brute man said it then laugh maniacally.


    ¡°Such a big words coming from a mouth of a coward, tsk tsk tsk¡±, I said it sarcastically.


    The brute man became silent then his expression change to anger. ¡°I guess playtime is over then¡±, brute man said in a deep angry voice.


    Revon did not wait for the brute man to act, he immediately rush towards the brute guy and the brute guy manage to parry the horizontal slash. They exchange slashes several times then the brute guy grab something from his pocket. A small white ball was thrown in front of Revon but Revon managed to dodge it and distance himself for about 5 meters. When the ball hit the ground it explode and it create a very small crater.


    The brute guy concentrate his will energy then infuse it to his sword, concentrating his will from the tip of his sword up until the middle of the blade. He shouted ¡° GROUND WHISPER¡± this style need at least half of the sword to be infused with will energy. By slashing vertically and hitting the ground by the infused parts of the sword, it will generate a linear shock wave which will result increatinga three 1 meter ground spike coming from the ground at least 2 meters away from the point of impact.


    Revon manage to evade the skill, he ran to the side of the brute guy but the brute guy uses again the ¡°GROUND WHISPER¡±. Revon manage to concentrate his will to the tip of his sword and manage to use ¡° GROUND GEYSER¡±, a huge explosion was created due to the impact of both skills. The entire perimeter impact was cover by ground dust.

    ¡°You...........! Agh!....¡±, I moaned while applying a pressure on a 3 inches cut on my left arm.

    Silva¡¯s POV


    What am I going to do now? Even though both of us have the same rank but experience wise....I am at disadvantage.


    ¡°Are you finished moaning¡±, mad man said and lick his lips. ¡°Let me enjoy carving a pretty flower on your chest.¡± The mad man is around 6¡¯, tan skin, dark eyes and he uses twin long swords.


    The mad man rush towards Silva, he thrust both swords in the middle but Silva manage to block it using her wooden buckle. Even though the mad man¡¯s thrust was block, the mad man manages to swing the swords side ways just like a scissors.


    Silva uses ¡®KNIGHT¡¯S FORTITUDE¡¯ this ability allows her to temporarily engulf her entire body with 3 layers of will energy. Silva manages to parry the opponent¡¯s long swords using her wooden buckler and short sword. Since the enemy is a bit fast, Silva was hit several times until the 3 layer of barriers reduce into one.


    ¡°heeeeh! It seems like your good with your defence, let me put some holes in your body,¡± the mad man smiled and shouted ¡®GROUND FANG¡¯ in order for this skill to be successfully perform, the user will energy must be successfully distributed in both swords specifically at the tip of the swords. When the right amount of will energy is concentrated at the tip of the swords, the user must impale it on a ground at the same time. Timing is the essence for this skill to work because if it is not the skill will dispel itself.


    Unfortunately the skill was successful, five 1 meter spike erupted 5 meters from the point of impact and run linearly towards Silva. Silva uses again the ¡®KNIGHT''S FORTITUDE¡¯ but the continuous hit made her skill break.


    Silva was on the ground and crouching. Her sword is broken and her wooden buckler was shattered due to the impact of the skill.

    Revon¡¯s POV


    I need to help my sister, she just ranked up two days ago. She only got one skill. God! I can¡¯t see!


    Revon managed to got out from the perimeter where it was covered with dust. He saw his sister covered with bruises. The mad guy was stripping her sister; he rips her white shirt and started to suck her nipples.


    Revon uses ¡®GROUND SCREAM¡¯ this skill must use concentrated will energy and infuse it to the sword specifically at the tip of the sword. The user must lift his sword and hold its shoulder part and throw it to the direction that was intended. In order for this skill to work, the sword should be impaled on the ground at least 40-60 degrees in angle or the skill will dispel itself.


    Luckily the skill work, from the point of impact the ground burst like a water in a hose with narrow opening. The ground was sprayed towards the mad man. The mad man dodges the skill and distance himself about 10 meters away from Silva.


    Revon ran towards his sister.

    The Armour guy horizontally slashed the old guy¡¯s neck and the old guys head rolled on the ground. Both the base of the head and neck did not spurted blood due to the intense heat, it was cauterized. It smell like burnt meat.


    The armoured guy looked towards us and said ¡°kill them.¡±


    ¡°ha ha ha ha ha!,¡± mad man.


    ¡°It seems like you will follow your father!,¡± brute man said and he grinned.


    ¡° father...no.......,¡±Silva started to cry.


    Revon was in front of me crying but he did not budge. He still acts as the big brother. He holds his sword upward and stands on the ground.


    The old man said earlier that I need to break this marble. I place the marble on the ground and stomp it but nothing happen. Immediately after 5 seconds a white light blob appear in front of Silva.


    While my tears are continuously flowing, I just need to hold them for at least several seconds. I hold on to one of the grass in the surrounding and uses a spell called ¡®GRASS CLENCH¡¯ this spell can be use in two ways, either by the use of a seed and infusing it with mana until it grows or using the plants from the surrounding. By using the surrounding grass this spell can increase the durability, flexibility and growth of the leaves and use it to restrict the movement of the opponent.


    ¡°What the FUCK are you guys doing,¡± armour guy said in an angry tone.


    ¡°I can¡¯t MOVE,¡± mad man said.


    ¡°There is something...., then he look at the ground....what the hell is this!?,¡± brute man said.

    Greta is a 5¡¯4¡± human race. She is a bit overweight. She got brown hair and brown iris. Her voice is very loud.

    ¡°He still in bed...then he sat down... I don¡¯t want to wake him. He seems at peace when he is asleep,¡± Ragan responded.


    ¡°What do you think of him? I mean he seemed to be more refine in compare to most of the nobles I knew,¡± Gran said.


    ¡°You mean matured? I will try to ask about his past but I have a hunched that it is not pleasant,¡± Ragan responded.


    ¡°No, don¡¯t do it. I mean if he is really ready, he might or will open up,¡± Gran said....¡±by the way help me with these.... he pointed out the papers on the ground.... we need to make the monthly financial report... then he smiled.


    ¡°By the way...this afternoon the bishop will visit us...¡± Ragan said.

    According to Greta, I will be starting my first guild job this afternoon. How will I know it is noon? According to her all I need to know is the sun¡¯s position. If the sun is already in the middle then it is already noon. Anyway, I have more time so I need to check the entire area. I went out from the house.


    I¡¯ve been walking for about 10 minutes. The ground is wet, it seems like it was raining.


    I asked some questions from the soldiers that is circling the watch tower about the life in this city and he said that it was fine but they are really discriminated by the people who live in other cities because the city is ruled by none aristocrat. One older man also said that they were lucky that the father of Gran and Gran himself took care of them. Even the church does not like them because they are against the decision of the Emperor. They concluded that the father of Gran is one of the few people that the Emperor trusts.


    According to them the churched filed a complaint against the father of Gran. Most of thecomplaints are lies. They ceased their movement several years ago because of what happened to this city.


    I asked them what happened, then they said that few years back this city was abundant in vegetation plus the fact that entire kingdom of south of Refu is 3/8 of the entire continent of Refu which pure wilderness. The city of Middle kingdom Refu is 1/8 of the entire continent which is the Emerald City. The remaining to 4/8 is the north of Refu is the grand kingdom of Refu. The Northern Kingdom of Refu is subdivided by 4 cities. The grand city of Ruby; City of Garnet, Sila and Garba. The City of Garnet, Sila and Garba form a triangle and within the triangle is the city of Ruby wherein the emperor resides.


    Long time ago, the richness of the entire emerald city sparks the greed and envious eyes of both the church and most of the aristocrats.


    Then I asked the old man what happened several years ago. He said that the entire property of Refu was cursed and there are only few places wherein they can find green vegetation or a land use for agriculture. Even within thisplace, only few spots within the city where the people can plant and grow some vegetables.


    After talking to them I looked at the sky but it¡¯s gloomy, I don¡¯t know what time it is. I asked the old man how to tell the time he said that there are few birds around called timer when they tweet in high pitch it is still morning and afternoon, the frequency or number of pitch is equivalent to the number of hours. In the evening , its pitch is low and dull. After a few minutes, several birds in high pitch can be heard and the numbers of hours they are tweeting 14 times. The older man said it is already noon.


    I bid my goodbye. So, basically this world has a 28 day and night cycle.


    Along the way, I saw two mid twenties people and one older man carrying their child in swing like using bed sheet. They ran towards the merchant hall. Anyway, I went straight to the Guild because I don¡¯t want to be late.


    -------Guild Hall


    The guild hall is as big as the merchant hall but this building has second floor. The interior of the hall has a similar design to the merchant hall but with chairs and tables. The chairs and tables are made up of woods. The types of wood resemble to a coconut wood, it almost like a restaurant.


    I roamed around but there are no people then Greta just came out from the wooden door, maybe connected to her office.


    ¡°You are a bit early,¡± Greta smiled


    ¡°By the way is it always empty like this,¡± I asked


    ¡°Not really...it just that..never mind. You are here for your first job,¡± Greta twitched her lips.


    This woman is hiding something from me but I need the job so I will not pry for now. ¡°So care to tell me what is my first job,¡± I asked curiously.


    ¡°Here,¡± she handed me a well drawn sketch.


    When I look closely, it is similar to the plant drawn by the late Baron¡¯s herbal journal. The shape of the leaf is like a star and the colour is bluish green. ¡°This is leaf is from a hogela plant,¡± I murmured.


    Greta widened her eyes and said,¡± I know your smart but there are only few people who knows that plant. Kid who are you,¡±

    Greta asked me to follow here upstairs and in front of me is wall with a drawn map of the entire property of Emerald city. She pointed the place wherein there is a blue bunny like creature with horn and several trees surrounded the flower fields.


    We went down and Greta asked me to wait because she will give me a weapon. She went to her office and when she came back she handed me a sword or knife. When I examined it, it looks like a kodaichi the length is around 50 cm made of copper.

    ¡°You mean test?,¡± I responded.


    ¡°ha ha ha! Hope you succeed!, Ragan said it while glancing towards the merchant hall.


    ¡°Is there something wrong,¡± I asked politely.


    ¡°Ah, no! We have some crocodiles coming,¡± Ragan laugh.


    ¡°Huh? .....Anyway, I have to go now,¡± I said.


    ¡° Farewell!, Ragan said in a hurryand ran towards the merchant hall entrance.


    I know Lupine are fast based on my knowledge on some legends in my previous life.I can¡¯t believe what I saw. The distance between me and the entrance of merchant hall is about 100 meters and he arrived there approximately 15 seconds.


    The entrance of the merchant hall seems to be crowded. Maybe there isan announcement but I need to finish this job first.

    After another few minutes I saw the entrance. There are several trees seems to be circling the meadows. I enter the forest and there are several blue horned rabbits hopping all around. The sizes of the rabbits are about a foot long. I walked towards the centre of the forest and saw the plants.


    I started to check which one to pick. Some plants are small and some are too big. According to the herbal journal of the late Baron, the potency of the plants is based on the correct maturity of the plant. The colour should be deep green in colour. It should have 5 points similar to the generic star shape. The back of the leaf, you should see the vein of the leaf. If you can¡¯t see the vein ,meaning it is still young but if the colour of the back is yellow then it is already old.


    I carefully select the one that I think that is mature enough. I got at least 60 leaves. I was about to leave when all of the sudden the entire small blue horned rabbits was in chaos. They are running and hopping everywhere. Then I felt like someone at the entrance. There is a man sitting on the ground. My gut is saying it¡¯s a dangerous but still I approached the man.


    ¡°Hello!,¡± I greeted the man loudly. I approached the man till the distance between him and me is about one meter but all of the sudden the man lunged towards me.


    The man¡¯s seems to be dead. Only one right eyeball is present. I rushed towards him and stab him on his chest using my weapon but he still looking at me. He closes his mouth and seems to gather something inside his mouth. I jumped several metres then the man spitted black sputum. The plant that was hit was burnt.


    ¡°Hey! Dude!,¡± I shouted but I did not get any response.


    The corpse like creature slowly approaching me, I ran towards the centre of the meadow and place my hand on the grass. ¡®GRASS CLENCH,¡¯ after a few seconds several leaves grows and engulf the undead but the leaves was burnt.


    ¡°How the hell,¡± I shouted then I saw several black discharges from the orbital area, ears and nose.


    The entire leaves were burnt, so what now I asked myself. If I will ran from here either the undead will follow me or not but I will not take the risk. The man was saying save me from the dark.


    ¡°Huh? I was surprised.


    ¡°Save...m..e...Let..me rest...take...me out...of my...misery,¡± the man¡¯s keeps repeating.


    He kept repeating those words, the dark fluid coming from his orbital area become gray in colour. I don¡¯t know my heart become so heavy. I don¡¯t why. Seeing the man crying in a gray colour fluid did not disgust me but I felt pity. I want to help him. Then some random memories flashed in my head.


    -----------Eloah¡¯s Memories


    ¡°Hey, Eliah what is the use of this light affinity? I asked.

    ¡° Sir! Please help my daughter,¡± man was pleading and crying.


    I checked the child inside the swing made up rough cloth. The child has a sunken eye and she seems to be wet on the bottom and have dry skin. ¡°Oh...my god! Not this cursed again!,¡± I murmured.

    After I clean Gran¡¯s house I went out hurriedly from his house. Along the way I saw Eloah with his sword hanging beside his left waist. He also has a backpack.


    It seems like Greta gave him a mid difficulty test. Gathering is a bit difficult job because an adventurer need to locate the place unless of course if the adventurer already know the place, then the specificity of the materials or herbs that the adventurer need to find. Without knowledge of the certain object or plant then the adventurer will be randomly picking things up so it would be a waste of time plus the reward will be lower. I think Greta is testing Eloah¡¯s wisdom and knowledge.


    I was about to run towards the merchant hall but Eloah saw me, so I approached him


    ¡° So, are doing your first job,¡± I smile.


    I watched Eloah¡¯s reaction, he seem to be looking at my back. Geez...I wagged my tail.


    ¡°You mean test,¡± Eloah responded.


    ¡°ha ha ha! Hope you succeed!, I said it while glancing towards the merchant hall. I got a bad feeling.

    Keen whispered and said, ¡°The curse return again, goes inside hurry! Gran needs help! Don¡¯t worry I will gather the citizen and onlookers, I will handle them,¡±


    I went inside the hall and close the door that was already opened. I saw three people. I can see Gran¡¯s worried and horror face and the smell! How can I forgetthe smell! This smell killed almost 10,000 of my kin!


    ¡°Gran! Don¡¯t tell me...,¡± I said in a concerned voice.


    ¡°The water god¡¯s curse,¡± Gran said while his eyes are clouding.


    ¡° Nooo...,¡± The father of the child said.


    ¡°Gran...we can asked the help of the bishop who will be coming anytime in this afternoon,¡± I asked.

    ¡°Welcome to our humble place Bishop Carl Tiban,¡± I said.


    Carl is a 5¡¯7" obese person. He has a blond hair, dark eyes and white skin. He is around 55 years old. He is currently wearing a white robe. His staff is made up of silver and several jewels are embedded at the tip of his staff.


    Carl sniffed and blurted, ¡°Your place stinks, if not because of the Emperor¡¯s plea then I will not come here. Did your prepare a room for me? If it is not I will file a complaint against you, similar to your stupid old man.


    I want to kill the piece of shit but he got a body guard, a light bearer and a Oweseni in rank. So, just smile and calm down.

    ¡° Hmph! You piece of junk! Lead the way!,¡± Carl said.

    Again there were no people. Seriously, where are the adventurers! I know this land is barren but even a barren land have people.


    ¡°Hello!,¡± I raised my voice.


    Greta came out from her office. I handed her the herbs. Greta meticulously checks every leaf and she can¡¯t help but smile.

    If I remember correctly in my previous life, this disease has killed millions of people since it emerged out of the filthy water and living conditions of Calcutta India in the early 1800. Since then, there have been a total of eight pandemics.This pandemic disease that can last many years or even a few decades at that time, and spread to different countries and across continents and oceans.The first pandemic of eighteen hundreds and spread from India to Southeast Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East and Russia leaving hundreds of thousands of people dead in its wake.During that time, several famous people contributed to stop the disease, the cholera. With proper treatment, it will reduce the mortality rate to less than one percent. If not treated mortality rate will rise more than fifty percent.


    I went to the merchant hall then walksto Gran¡¯s office. I saw Gran¡¯s sitting and looking on the floor while cupping his face with both of his hands.


    ¡° I heard about your decision,¡± I said.


    He lifts up his head and said, ¡°Do you know how despicable I am? I need to burn the cursed one so that the majority of us will be save.¡± Grans''s voice is cracking.


    I walk towards the empty wooden chair, sat and said, ¡°Who give you the idea that burning them will make sure that it will go away.¡±


    ¡°It was the Bishop,¡± he said.


    ¡°The church? What the hell is the connection between the church and this disease?, I asked.


    ¡°It''s a curse.....Will they are the one who said it¡¯s a curse and besides this happened several years ago,¡± I said.


    ¡°You also burned them?¡± I exclaimed.

    ¡°There is!? Ragan was at the mouth of the door with surprised looks.


    ¡°Not really a cure, more like prevention for them to die or just a palliative care. The etiologic agent or the cause of the disease will not kill you, it¡¯s the manifestation that will kill you,¡± I explained.


    ¡°I don¡¯t know, it seems like to be too good to be true,¡± Gran doubt.


    ¡°What the hell! Gran! Would you rather see your people burn alive than take the risk of applying what this kid is talking,¡± Ragan raised his voice.

    ¡°How will this things help?¡± Gran asked.


    ¡° I will try to explained as simple as possible. This particular manifestation appeared in some stories that I heard by a certain old guy. I need to make something believable background. According to him this city all experienced what your people experienced. Almost half of the people die in that country, the person who discovered the solution did not give up, he accidentally mix the sugar, salt and water and then he gave it to the citizen and the death rate decreases,¡± I explained

    ¡°Can we just let him help them? You got nothing to lose anyway¡± Ragan said.

    I went out and enter the door of the back of the merchant hall. The place is quite big it is approximately 30 square metres. The interior design is similar to the interior of the merchant hall. There are several huge jars without covers. When I checked it, it contained water. There are two long wooden tables about 3 meters long and 1 meter wide and 16 wooden chairs in each table. There are also pots hanging above the coal. The pots are made up of clay.


    I went to the kitchen table grab the medium size empty clay jar. Then I thought....How many people are sick? I went back to the hall and asked Ragan for help. According to him there are at least 25 adults and 100 children.


    I asked Ragan to lift and fill the clay pots hanging on the coal but when I saw the water I was shocked. There are tons of wriggles swimming. I checked every jar and all of them have wriggles.


    ¡°Dispose all the water from the jar,¡± I said.


    ¡°I can¡¯t do that, we have limited supply of water!,¡± Ragan protested.


    ¡°How many do you think die before I came here,¡± I asked.


    ¡°That would be 100 people.....,¡± Ragan said.


    ¡°And where does the citizen in this city get water,¡± I asked.


    ¡°Most of them are got it from here, but if not they will get to the nearest lake about 20 minutes walk south from this city,¡± Ragan explained.


    ¡°Do you ever think that your water might be the cause of those death,¡± I said.


    ¡°Do you think.....we....,¡± Ragan is trying to explain but I interrupted.


    ¡°Not really...I don¡¯t think those death are curse or related to this water since you drink it as well. The source maybe at the nearest lake,¡± I said.


    Ragan and I disposed the water and clean the jar.

    ¡°That would be 25 adults and 100 children,¡± he said.


    I saw most of the children roaming around are undernourished; my guess is their average weight would be around 30 kilograms while the adults are around 50 kilograms I need to roughly calculate first the basic fluid maintenance therapy that would be given: weight x 75ml/ 4 hours. So the each adult must consume 3750ml in 4 hours that would be at least 935ml per hour. The children must also consume at least 2625ml divided in 4 hours. Then I need to reassess them again. I need at least 796,875 or at least 797 litres of water, 399 tsp of salt and 4782 tsp of sugar.


    Ragan and I prepared the water first. It seems that each cast I can produce at 50 litres of water. I taste the water and it taste like distilled water. I gave the instruction to him and have a rest. It almost consumes all my energy. Ragan was very eager to help for the cause.


    While I was sitting in the corner of the kitchen, I have several thought on cholera.


    Dealing with cholera is different than other emergencies that any health care professionals can worked on. It was the speed of it that made it so different. When health care professionals enter in an area with many people sick from cholera or a completely overloaded with cholera patients, one will know lives will soon be lost. Cholera can kill few hours as a result of dehydration, so I know that I have to make quick decisions because tomorrow might be too late.


    ¡°I am finished!,¡± Ragan said,


    ¡°Lead the way,¡± I murmured.


    I found many patients then do the assessment and quick physical examination. Most of them have mild case with palpable pulses. They are sitting on the ground within the pool of their own watery stool. Since, we don¡¯t have IV fluid, Ragan and I started giving water.


    After 4 hours after the hydration therapy, I reassessed the patients.


    All of the adults are getting better but one of the children seems to be not responding to the treatment. Maybe the spell also makes them better a little bit. I went back to the kitchen to use the ¡®WATER MAKE¡¯ and fill the huge vase. I asked Ragan again to make another batch of ORS and continue the therapy.


    The child has similar manifestation of a marasmus condition. I checked the entire patient and it seems that this child approximately 3 years old has the worst condition plus the effect of the cholera disease.


    I whispered, ¡°Ragan kindly guide all the people in here to a clean place. Please tell them to clean themselves. I still have several jag of water outside the kitchen, use it. Let them eat and drink the solution you made.¡±


    Ragan walked towards Eloah and whispered, ¡°Okay.¡±


    Ragan guided the people towards the merchant hall.


    ¡°Do you want to see your mother or father,¡± I gently asked.


    ¡° I...difficulty in breathing...I don¡¯t have any. They died in war¡± he said and smile then he vomited to the opposite side of me. All I did was hold his thin arms, just to reassure him that someone is here with him.


    ¡°Do you want to eat your favourite food,¡± I asked gently.


    He looked at me and said with shortness of breath, ¡°I don¡¯t want to eat....but I want to listen to a song...my mama always sing it to me before I asleep.... To the sky.....¡±


    ¡°I remember that song, my mom also sing that to me...would like meto sing it for you,¡± I smiled. The kid looks at me with his sunken eyes and a trace of dried tears at the medial cantus due to dehydration.

Checked his breathing and I can''t felt it. Check his eyes it''s already fixed and dilated. I wrapped him with the blanket. My eyes seems blurry, my heart beat seems a little bit fast and my breathing seems disturbed.My cheek becomes wet as tears flows from my eyes. I continue to wrap the child¡¯s body with a dirty blanket. After the child was wrapped, I carried the child''slifelessbodyand move out from the house. When I open the door I saw Ragan and Gran with such worried faces but I just continue to walk towards the east gate.


    ¡°Hey! Kid wait up! Where are you going with that body,¡± Gran asked.


    I continue to walk and said, ¡°I will bury him,¡±


    ¡°Wait! You can¡¯t! The church said that God will punish you! Only the nobles have the right to be buried,¡± Gran raised his voice.


    ¡°Yes...the pope especially said that,¡± Ragan seconded.


    I stop and turned around and said while my voice is still shaking, ¡°let them come, I will welcome all the punishment that they will throw to me.¡± I focused my gazed towards Gran, ¡° I thought you are a strong and rational person, it seems like my thoughts of youwere wrong.¡± Then I continue to walk towards the east gate

    Ragan announced that they can eat but before that they need to clean themselves using the jars of water outside the kitchen.


    ¡°Tell me! What the hell is going on!¡± I raised my voice.


    ¡° I will let Eloah explained because I don¡¯t have any idea,¡± Ragan murmured.


    ¡°I will talk to him, lead the way,¡± I said.


    We ran towards the house where Eloah is located. I gently open the door.


    ¡°Wait...is he singing? I asked.


    ¡°It seems like a children¡¯s song,¡± Ragan said.


    ¡°What happened to that kid on the small table,¡± I asked.


    ¡°I don¡¯t know but when he told me that I need to guide the people out and looked at his expression he was about to cry so I just followed his order,¡± I Ragan said.


    ¡° Wait... he is carrying the dead body, close the door,¡± I whispered.


    Eloah open the door. His eyes are a bit red. It seems like he is crying.


    ¡°Hey! Kid wait up! Where are you going with that body?,¡± I politely asked.


    He still continue to walk and said, ¡° I will bury him,¡±

Let me asked you something Gran, how many people in your lives or people that you met have strong compassion to help disregarding the status or beliefof anyone?¡±

    Ragan and I followed Eloah outside the east gate.


    ¡°By the way Ragan, Duchess De Garda sent an invitation for us for her 50th birthday,¡± I whispered.


    ¡°We have to go,¡± Ragan said.

    ------Back to Eloah


    My greatest fear is being helpless. I recall the days during my clerk years. The attending physician refused my opinion and continued the wrong treatment. After the patient dies, I got some samples from his tissue and blood and my diagnosis was right. The inability to help someone due to hierarchy, whose own pride that he can¡¯t swallow results to the death of my first patient. I am here. This is my reality. I need to be strong or I will die again. I don¡¯t know if what reasons why I am being sent in this world or is it just a part of cycle of nature.


    Eloah felt something within his body. A powerful surge of energy coming from the surrounding enters his body. A faint light is emitting throughout his a body. He looks like a white bulb flickering for few minutes until the flicking light fade in silence.


    ¡°I can¡¯t believe it! I rank up. I became a Tredje!¡± I shouted then murmured, ¡°What kind of sick prerequisite.¡± I grind my teeth and said ¡°How many people need to die before I will rank up again!¡±


    Eloah place the wrapped corpse on the ground. He uses the ¡°GRASS CLENCH¡± and the grass around him grew at least three meters.

After several seconds when he is about to release the force wave, ? of the energy must remained in the larynx and the rest is spread towards the paired and unpaired cartilages such as the epiglottis and arytenoid cartilages, the intrinsic and extrinsic muscles such as cricothyroid muscles and thyrohyoid muscles.     Most people are not contented on what Eloah said. Most of them still believe that the god punished them. You can see the confused in their eyes. The only people who believe in Eloah are the people who experience the disease.


    Greta guid them to the Guild while Eloah and the others stayed.


    ¡°Keen, do you know the place where people usually defecate?,¡± I curiously asked


    ¡°There is one north from the city and one east from the city,¡± Keen said.

    We went to both source, it seems like both of the water source are contaminated. The water came from the spring flowing from the apex of the triangular rock. When we surveyed the surrounding there are several faecal waste and some are just 2 meters from the water source.


    ¡°So what are we going to do?,¡± Ragan asked.


    ¡°Do you know any person who can build a latrine or people who''s job is into building?,¡± I asked.


    ¡°There is, his name is Grande, he is Greta¡¯s husband,¡± Ragan said.


    ¡°He is also the one who built the guild hall and merchant hall,¡± Gran said.


    ¡°Shall we go back to the merchant hall and prepare for the prevention,¡± I said.


    The men nodded and they walked back to the hall. Keen brought Grande in the hall. Eloah was surprised because Grande is a dwarf. Grande has a dark blond hair. He has a muscular feature. His height is just 4 feet.

    I grab a paper and some a charcoal like pen and draw a small hut.


    The first thing that we need to do is to select a suitable site that is at least 20 - 30 meters from wells or bore holes.     After the talk Eloah went to the place where his lot and small house located. The house is similar to Eloah¡¯s mother. Eloah entered and saw a 5 inches bed, one small circular table and a sink. He went to bed and sleep.

    ¡°By the way where is everyone?¡± I asked Greta.


    ¡° Gran and the others went to visit an old friend and starting today and tomorrow is the day when the fruit lorchan is ripe so most adventurer are out.¡± Greta explained.


    ¡°Okay¡­don¡¯t you have any¡­..( interrupted due to a shout from outside).


    Greta and Eloah went out and saw 3 children, two children are unconscious while a little boy is front of the two children with cuts all over his upper limbs. The child seems like blocking the whip coming from the Bishop.


    ¡°I am sorry my lord, if the child may disrespect you, I will make sure that the child will be punished accordingly,¡± Greta said.


    Most of the guards are angry but won¡¯t help the child.


    It seems that this is the piece of shit that told Gran to kill the infected one.


    ¡°May I asked why an outstanding person like you is punishing that child,¡± I asked calmly.


    Greta approached me and whispered, ¡° what are you doing?

 14. Saint of Greed 1

    The dark cloud is covering the light coming from the sky. Fifteen city guards surrounded Eloah and Carl. Greta eyes widened. Most of the villagers expression are mixed some shows anger towards Eloah but most are smirking towards the bishop.


    ¡°Let me tell you something peasants! Then he looked towards the guards that surround both Eloah and him and said ¡°This aggression towards me is considered a sin, God will punished all of you! Do you want the curse to return again!? How about this I will forgive all of you, kill this boy in front of me and God will forgive all of you.


    The guards did not even bother to move. They just look towards Carl with hatred in their eyes especially the older ones. Most of the older citizen shows extreme hostile towards the bishop.


    I wonder what happened in the past. ¡°It seems like the citizen does not like you¡± then I smile.


    ¡°In this country kid, one must not offend the great church! I will kill all of you!¡± he touches the pendant that is attached to his gold necklace. He whispered something then all of the sudden the pendant shine then flicker several times. Carl was engulfed by a ball of light then when the light dissipates, he is now wearing a white light armour and the colour of his whip became gold. It looks like a hunter clothes but using white leather like materials. The clothes have a sun like emblem on the upper armour.


    ¡°Eloah be careful¡± Greta¡¯s voice is shaking.


    ¡°What is it?¡± without glancing her.


    ¡°That is special armour given by the different branches in military, religious, sect or clan. That armour is made up of material that is unknown to any other branches. Each branch has their own secrets but from what I know, the military and the religious sector have several armour that was hidden from the public.¡° Greta¡¯s voice is shaking.


    ¡°It seems you are knowledgeable but you don¡¯t know the half of it.....¡± he look at the guard on his left side and hit him with his whip. The guards armour disintegrated. Then he hit him on his neck then strangled him. After a few seconds the orifices such as the ears, mouth shine brightly then the eyeball melted but there is no blood. It seemed it was cauterized because of the intense heat coming from the white light.


    All of the people became frantic. You can see the eyes of the guards, they are scared. Still, they stand on the ground even though their legs are shaking.


    ¡°Greta, move all the people away from that guy. Let me face him. Please, if you have a way of contacting the Duke kindly do it. This guys I can feel a strong nature energy coming from him and he is one rank higher than me.¡± I calmly said it.


    ¡°Are you sure!? But that guy...!? she raised her voice.


    ¡°Just go.... away from us. Gather all the citizen in one place then let the guards surround them. I got a bad feeling about him and his intention.¡± I said it calmly.


    ¡°Okay, I will wait near the south gate,¡± she whispered.


    Greta gather all guards, including the guards that surround Eloah and Carl. They marched towards the empty space near the south gate.

    Eloah ran toward the pole which is 1 meter in length. It was on the ground just 2 meters away from him. He ran and thrust the pole towards Carl¡¯s sternum but Carl manage to wrap his whip around the pole then wave his whip which elevate Eloah¡¯s body for about 6 meters from the ground. Eloah activate ¡°GRASS CLENCH¡± ¡°DRILL¡± ten braided leaves from the ground are rotating towards Carl. Carl jump back and Eloah manage to break free by unequipping the pole.     Carl unwrap the whip from the pole and uses his weapon to whip the entire leaves. All leaves were burn by an off white flame.


    ¡°You!¡± Carl gritted his teeth. He raised his left hand and shouted ¡° SOUL MARCH¡± this is a second tier ability. In order for this ability to work a Dewin must concentrate his natural energy at the centre of his palm then spread it equally to his digits. This spell will be cancelled if the Dewin can¡¯t spread it equally to at least 3 of his digits. Carl casted the spell three times and fifteen off white 3 inches in diameter spherical light appears and floats around him. He then shouted ¡°SOUL MARCH TRI FORM¡±


    The spherical gather and form a 3 pentagon shape, one is in his left, one is in his right side and the last one is just above him. All 3 shapes has are transparent at the middle while the spherical ball at each side are flickering.


    Eloah uses ¡°GRASS CLENCH¡± ¡°DRILL¡± 10 braided leaves attacked Carl, Carl wave his left hand and the pentagon shape just repel all the leaves. He wave is right hand, an intense light coming from the centre of the shape appear and directly burn all the leaves.


    ¡°Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! You will die in here and after that I will erase all witnesses¡± Carl laughs maniacally.


    ¡°Tell me you...Your Excellency...tell me...why you hated this city? I am just curious about what happened in the past.¡±


    ¡°Huh? Why would I tell you anyway!? He waves his right hand and direct the shape towards Eloah, an intense light appeared but Eloah manage to use ¡°GRASS CLENCH¡± as wall. Few seconds the leaves just turn into ashes. One can see a white flame on the ashen leaves.


    I want to use the other nature spell but if this guy will know that I have several affinities and he manage to escape I will be in big trouble. I need to kill him without using other type of magic unless if I am confident that I can kill him.


    ¡°You did not bother to answer my question, Your Excellency? I smiled.


    ¡°You will die, so don¡¯t bother! ¡°MIRROR¡¯S EGO¡± the left and the right ball combine and became a huge decagon shape. This is a 3<sup>rd</sup> tier ability. It serve like a mirror, the user will stand in front of the mirror and replicate himself. The Dewin can only produce one replication. The replicated person will have 50% power coming from the original person. The original person does not have any negative effects. This ability will last for 1 hour and can only be use once a day.


    The person without the pentagon means the replicated one. Eloah cut several leaves on the ground at least 20 leaves, then uses ¡°GRASS BLADE¡± This is a 2<sup>nd</sup> tier ability, this ability can only be use with the pre existing materials specifically leaves. The Dewin must hold it and must inject its energy to the leaves. The energy should equally distribute on the surface area of the leaf, if not then only the leaf or leaves which the energy was equally distributed will be functional. Once the leaf will hit a solid surface it will lose its effect.


    Out of 20 leaves only 10 leaves are functioning well. Ten leaves float and attack fake Cark but fake Clark uses his whip and manage to deflect all of it. The real Clark run towards Eloah¡¯s left side while the fake Clark run towards Eloah¡¯s right side. They use their weapon to hit Eloah. Eloah on the other hand concentrates his energy and manage to use ¡°GRASS CLENCH¡± ¡°DRILL¡± several braided leaves attack the fake one and Eloah uses his pole to thrust real Carl¡¯s face and he mange to hit his nose. Carl¡¯s nose deviate on the right side and blood is coming out from his nose. The leaves manage to drill fake Carl¡¯s anterior abdomen and impaled him on the wall.


    Eloah switched his attention to the real one but he realize that the pentagon shape is gone and when he gaze towards the fake one, the pentagon is now above the fake Carl and several glistening dust is pouting towards Carl. His wounds are starting to close.


    ¡°Oh! NO!....¡±DEMETER¡¯S SPEAR¡± this is a third tier ability, one must have a good mental picture to create a spear. One must cast first several ¡°GRASS BLADE¡± then congregate it in one place to form a spear. The spear is about 1.5 meter. The first 1/3 of the spear has serrated edges. After forming the spear, the Dewin must inject its energy again into the spear as well as the hand that will be use to throw it, to maximize the spears velocity.


    The spear was thrown towards fake Carl and hit its head. A projectile bleed is coming out from the headless fake Carl, seconds later the body undergoes spasm until it stop and rested on his ownblodd.The pentagon keep on showering a healing dust until it got exhausted and disappear.


    ¡°Mama!¡± the boy is crying.


    Carl uses its whip and grabs the boy and place the boy in front of him. ¡°What are you!? Are you from military? Or other cults or Noble family? or you must be related to Gran!


    ¡°Huh? What are you talking about? I asked calmly.


    ¡° Then how the hell did you manage to use Soul Forge!¡± Gran pointed at Eloah.

 15. Saint of Greed 2

    ¡°Soul Forge?¡± Eloah curiously repeated the word.


    ¡°Only selected people know that! Are you from the military or noble family? I am sure your are not from the Great church! I am pretty sure that Gran don¡¯t have any idea what Soul Forge is!¡± Carl is gritting his teeth while holding the boy¡¯s neck.


    The boy did not cry but you can see the fear in his eyes. ¡°Release the boy Carl. Remember, if you kill him I will kill you.¡± said it calmly.


    ¡°You!¡± Carl is facing Eloah and use the boy as his shield. He walks backward towards the north gate. So he is planning to escape. Eloah grab one bean like seed from his pouch. He uses a finger flick and hit Carl¡¯s forehead.


    ¡°Are you joking! Is that a child¡¯s play your doing?¡± Carl raised his voice and he increases his grip on the child¡¯s neck.


    ¡°Seriously...a church man and bishop himself, hurting a child though in some country that I know child molestation is also common.¡± Eloah stared at him.


    ¡°Fuck you! I don¡¯t do that! We have women on our side. Our followers who surrender their selves to me, for my needs to be fulfil.It''s a blessing to them!¡± Carl angrily said it.


    ¡°So, you are a pervert then! I need time! Yes you are! I wonder what people think if their beloved Bishop is ramming some unsuspected virgin and deflower them because they think it¡¯s in God¡¯s will!¡± then Eloah smirk.

    This is the fourth tier ability of Carl. It¡¯s called ¡°WHITE TRAP¡± In order for this to work Carl must continuously inject his energy to the ground and let it ripple. The circumference of the circle and the duration of the effect depend on how much energy he release on the ground. This skill will trap the intended person for about an hour. The person within the trap will not be able to use any primary affinity within for 30 minutes.


    ¡°Now tell me, who the hell are you!? Carl use his whip to hit the child but Eloah shielded the child using his body. ¡°If you can explain to me what Soul Forge then I might be able to answer your questions.¡± Eloah inspect his arms and saw a snake like bruises from the whip.


    ¡°Hmm...it seems that you don¡¯t really know... then that is good! Carl walks towards the direction of the citizen.

    The entire common people were in the middle while they are surrounded by the remaining guards. Greta was in front directly towards where Eloah and Carl are fighting.

    ¡°It seems that all of you will disappear!¡± Carl is laughing maniacally.


    ¡°Where is he!?,¡± Greta is gritting her teeth.

    ¡°You should remember that there are two general types of skills: attack and defence. Though they have sub categories but they still fall into two general types. One of the most difficult to counteract are trap. There are different type of traps but what am I going to explain to you is what my master told me few years back,¡± Eliah calmly said it.


    ¡° So what kind of trap?¡± I curiously asked while eating a piece of bread.


    ¡°That would be similar to a prison. The prison like trap has the effect of making a person trap for a few hours or weeks. Although, it does not pose too many negative effect to the people who are inside the trap but just the thought being trap for weeks without food, or water. This type of trap function is to kill you softly since one can¡¯t accept anything from outside the trap circle but the caster can hurt you with the weapon he is currently equip. Basically, throwing weapons can''t pass through.¡± Eliah explained.


    ¡°Then...how will I get out,¡± I asked.


    ¡°There are several ways, either you kill the caster or rewrite the trap itself.¡± Eliah said


    ¡°Rewrite, how would I do it,¡± I asked.

When he open his eyes, he is now floating and in front of him is a huge key hole. The surrounding areas have several writing on it. It looks like an Arab writing. There are several letters or words that are shining. One group of words read as ¡° All people will be trap for 1 hour. Anyone, who will be trap within the spell will stay for the remaining 1 hour and the last shining words is any age that will be trap in the circle will stay for 1 hour.


    The last rule I use my index finger and change it into: Only people who are 18 years old and above will follow the trap rules. I touched the words again and it began to swirling around me them form into a huge key and insert itself to the keyhole then when the gate open a bright light appear. Eloah open his eyes then stand up, he tried one foot outside the circle and it work so he hold the child¡¯s hand and ran towards the direction where Greta and the citizen located.


    When he reach there, several citizen are already dead, head are decapitated the entire place is painted with the blood of the people. Some heads are smash into pieces. Brain matters are scatter everywhere.


    ¡°Mom! ¡° the boy just ran towards the corpse wherein her head is cut midway. The boy is continuously crying. As far as my initial count there are at least 300 people left. Almost, the entire place is like a sea of blood. Out of 15 soldiers, there are only 3 left.


    ¡°Wait a minute! Where is Greta!?¡± I frantically shouted. All of the sudden Greta was thrown from inside of the house and hit her back to one of the south gate wall. Carl appears from the gust of smoke from one of the houses. He is now using the 3 pentagon shape.


    Eloah place both his palm on the ground with several leaves on it. He pours a huge amount of energy that makes him dizzy and nauseated. Carl glances to the direction of huge energy pool and he was surprised that Eloah was still alive. Carl uses the attack pentagon and a bright light appear just appear 1 meter away in front Eloah but a wall made of leaves were the one that is burnt.


    ¡°How the hell did you escape! It is supposedly one hour!¡± Carl was shouting.


    ¡°GRASS CLENCH¡± ¡°DRILL¡± 100 braided leaves attack Carl. Carl uses the defensive pentagon but it was overpowered by 100 braided drill leaves. Some of the drilling leaves hit Carl¡¯s abdomen and knee cap.


    The healing pentagon keep on showering healing dust on Carl then he got up immediately after the wound close but can¡¯t move or walk.


    ¡°I can¡¯t walk! What the hell did you do! Carl shouted.


    I small plant sprouted on Carl¡¯s forehead. Eloah touch the ground and pour a huge amount of energy. GRASS CLENCH! The energy travel from the leaves on the ground towards Carl''s location and the plant grows fast. Some of its vine came out from his mouth, his eyeball pop out and roll on the ground until the entire plant burst out within his abdomen and immediately a flower bloom that its colour resembles of blood. He did not even scream.


    The pendant that the bishop was wearing is flickering then all of the sudden it shines brightly that makes the entire city tremble.


    ¡°Greta! Everyone gather in one place now! Please make it work! ¡°SANCTUARY¡±!

 16. The Chase 1

    Light soar and pierce through the sky and the clouds encircle the light. A pillar of light appears and engulfed the entire city. The pillar of light stays for about few minutes and begins to fade from the base and disappear when it reached the apex of the light.


    The pillar of light brought the city into ruins. The stone buildings are now gone. The entire city was decimated and looks like a thousand year old empire that was forgotten.


    If I use a pain scale that would be 8/10, my left upper extremity really hurts that I shed tears because of it. I slowly got up by using my unaffected arm then tried to stand up. I wobble a bit then I was stunned of what I see in my surrounding. Since the ¡®SANTUARY¡¯ is limited, the dome that I created is just 3 meters in diameter. Including Greta who is still alive and tried to get up only 50 people survive. 15 of them are children under 12 years old.


    ¡°Mom! Little boy cried while holding the left forearm of her mother. He was shaking while hugging the forearm. His eyes filled with sorrows, fear and confusion. I walked towards the boy¡¯s direction and realized that some of the people who turned into dust because of the Bishop¡¯s spell were just one meter from the edge of my ¡®SANCTUARY¡¯


    I reached the kid¡¯s location and he looks at me with eyes of hopelessness and said ¡° My mother......he....sniff....¡±. I patted his head and said nothing while the kid continue to cry then he continued to speak while his voice is shaking and cracking and said,¡± My mom....she threw me towards the dome that you place.....and the last time I saw was her smile....sniff...then the light stole her away from me...and this... ,¡± while looking at the forearm, the forearm turned into ashes. ¡° Mom....mom..mo....Nooooo! why!? Don¡¯t leave me!¡± the child pushed me slowly and grabs the ashes on the floor and continuously cries.


    I just watched him held the ashes. I don¡¯t know why God did or whoever it is..... place me in this planet, in this era. What the hell am I doing in here in the very first place anyway! Does my power even have a significant use!? What is my purpose in this planet!?


    I continue to swipe my gaze to several people, then all of the sudden a faint light is emitting on the ground. The people begin to panic. So, I use the SANCTUARY again and the survivor ran towards the dome.


    ¡°What is that light? Greta said while biting her lower lip because of the pain.


    ¡° I don¡¯t know but I got bad feeling about that light,¡± I said calmly then Greta focused her attention on the ground.


    The light begins to shine brightly and after few seconds it disappears. I told Greta and the others that I will step outside the dome first, before Greta can refute I already manage to step out. I touched the ground and release my light spiritual sense and I sense nothing. It seems that the light is already vanished. I watch towards the people inside the dome and told them that it is safe to step out.


    Greta twitch her lips while staring on the ground and said,¡± This is bad....¡±


    ¡°Bad? In what way,¡± I asked.


    ¡°This soil....¡± she kneel down and grab a handful of soil and said, ¡° This soil....you can¡¯t cultivate any plants in here..¡± then she sigh.


    ¡°Tell everyone to check the north, south, west area, I will check the east area.


    I went to the eastern area. The eastern gate was already gone. When I step out from the supposed eastern entrance, the shiny black soil reached at least 1-2 kilometres from the eastern gate. I touched the soil using both of my palm and release the wood energy. It seems that the ground repel my wood energy. Just as Greta said earlier, the entire place is doom. No plants, no food then.......death.


    Greta and the others check the area and after a several minutes when return to the area where the dome I placed.


    ¡°How was the other place!? I calmly asked.

The kingdom¡¯s lowest army is composed of rank 1-3 with the help of the church¡¯s white soldiers they will be at least 200 soldiers per cluster. You should know by now the church and the kingdom works hand in hand.¡±


    The colour of the sky is orange to bright red. I don¡¯t believe in bad omen but hearing Greta¡¯s information plus the effect of the environment makes you believe that an approaching reaper is coming to our head.


    ¡°Greta kindly informs everyone that we will follow to wherever the crowns lead us,¡± I said it then kneel down and used my light and water energy sense but the sand just repels my energy. I used my wood energy again, although the soil repels it but the wood residual energy stays for couple of minutes before it disappear. I supply wood energy using my palm for a several minutes when all of the sudden Greta forcibly grab my hands and pull it up. I was shook my head and looked at her and she said in a worry voice, ¡° Your nose and your ears are bleeding.¡± I touched the parts of what she said and I can feel some liquid and when I saw it, I took a deep breath and told her. ¡°Let us go now.¡±


    Greta informed the survivors to grab anything that is useful during our travel but the several of the survivors told Greta that all of their belongings or even food also dissipates because of the Bishop¡¯s spell.


    ¡°Everyone, I know that you guys are weary, tired and confuse but we have to go now, earlier when I used my spell, I could feel the vibration from the ground and the woods essence several kilometres from this place is greatly disturbed. If I am not mistaken the church and the main kingdom is already sending a military investigator to investigate what happened to this place. If we will not go now, all you might die. Remember, the people who survive the wrath of the Bishop¡¯s spell will equivalent to heretics.¡± I said calmly.


    ¡°You sure about this!?,¡± Greta whispered.


    I whispered and said, ¡°Yes, before you forcibly remove my arms, I could feel the vibration on the ground. It seems that they are using a huge mounts to come here. It seems to be slow though. If I am not mistaken they will arrived here in 4 hours but there are 2 people who I think is using 2 fast mounts. It seems the two people are scouts.¡± Greta nodded and ordered everyone to march towards the direction of the crowns.


    Adults are divided into two groups. Half of them will be at front and the other will be at the rear side, while the children were in between. I position myself at least 3 meters from the last adult on the rear side while Greta is at the front doing some writing and attached on the bird¡¯s feet know''a messenger dove, twice as big a earth''s dove, and release the bird. She looked at me and said, ¡°For the Duke, He will be next to be interrogated after this. Just giving him a head up¡±


    The timer were already tweeting in low pitch for about 7x, we¡¯ve been walking for about 7 hours nonstop. Since the sky is still bright, I told them to continue to walk for the next hour then we will rest.

    White Robe man glare towards the white armoured man and said, ¡° just do your job, if there are any survivors spare no one!¡± Then he walks out and enters the brown carriage.


    A guy wearing an off white leather clothing approached the white armoured guy and said, ¡° Greeting! Captain!,¡± He formed a fist on his right hands and place it on his chest, specifically in the sterna area then he bow.


    White armoured guy sat down on one of the broken pillars of the house then nod and said, ¡°Continue.¡± ¡°Captain, it seems like there are no survivors but I feel like there are trace of wood energy around, ¡° the white leather man said calmly then took a deep breath and said,¡± If I am not mistaken they went towards where the crowns go, do you need me to pursue them?¡±


    The captain look towards the sky, then he sigh and said, ¡°Don¡¯t do it too dangerous. There are several beasts that are active during night which are far more dangerous than the beast during rays of light still active. Let those beast deal with them. We will go back and report to His Majesty and Eminence.


    The white robe man came out from the carriage and approached the captain and said, ¡°We will talk to the Duke, I think he is in that mansion.¡±


    ¡°Are you going to question the Duke inside?, then the captain laugh.

    Blue horn Rabbit - common animals. it''s horn are use for medicine and alchemy. The meat is grade E.


    Plants:


    Hogela - The shape of the leaf is like a star and the colour is bluish green. The potency of the plants is based on the correct maturity of the plant. The colour should be deep green in colour. It should have 5 points similar to the generic star shape. The back of the leaf, you should see the vein of the leaf. If you can¡¯t see the vein ,meaning it is still young but if the colour of the back is yellow then it is already old.


    Character Skills: Effects varies. It also depends on the rank or affinity of the individual.


    Eliah:


    1.Grass Clench - this spell can be use in two ways, either by the use of a seed and infusing it with mana until it grows or using the plants from the surrounding. By using the surrounding grass this spell can increase the durability, flexibility and growth of the leaves and use it to restrict the movement of the opponent. Sub: Drill


    2.Grass Blade: this ability can only be use with the pre existing materials specifically leaves. The Dewin must hold it and must inject its energy to the leaves. The energy should equally distribute on the surface area of the leaf, if not then only the leaf or leaves which the energy was equally distributed will be functional. Once the leaf will hit a solid surface it will lose its effect.


    3.Demeter''s Spear: one must have a good mental picture to create a spear. One must cast first several ¡°GRASS BLADE¡± then congregate it in one place to form a spear. The spear is about 1.5 meter. The first 17/3 of the spear has serrated edges. After forming the spear, the Dewin must inject its energy again into the spear as well as the hand that will be use to throw it, to maximize the spears velocity.


    1.Angel''s Halo- This ability has a minimal regenerative ability and thin barrier. In order for this skill to work, a Dewin must concentrate his or her nature energy at the centre of his forehead. By concentrating its energyat the centre of his or herforehead, it will change its colour in response to one¡¯s intention. The colour also representsadditional effects within the perimeter of the ring. Then after a few seconds the mana will be transferred to both feet and extend its circumference or diameter outward. The duration and size of the ring isproportional to one¡¯s rank, basically the higher the rank the longer the duration and the higher the circumference or diameter of the circle. ( 5 meters in diameter as of the moment )


    2.Sanctuary- is a light barriet that shape like a dome. ( 3 meters in diameter)


    1.Water Make - The spell maybe basic but unless one knows the component of the water then it would be difficult to use it. A Dewin must concentrate its natural energy to any external areas such as hands or feet. The energy must be gathered in surface area, the lesser the surface area the higher the pressure, then use the trigger words.


    Revon:


    1.Ground Geyser - by impaling the ground by his sword he use his will energy and let it pass from the blade until it reaches the tip of the sword, by concentrating the energy at the tip of the swordhe created an explosion from the ground with the diameter of (1 meter and as high as 5 meters- can be modiefied based on levels)


    2.Ground Scream - his skill must use concentrated will energy and infuse it to the sword specifically at the tip of the sword. The user must lift his sword and hold its shoulder part and throw it to the direction that was intended. In order for this skill to work, the sword should be impaled on the ground at least 40-60 degrees in angle or the skill will dispel itself.


    Brute guy:


    1.Ground Whisper- this style need at least half of the sword to be infused with will energy. By slashing vertically and hitting the ground by the infused parts of the sword, it will generate a linear shock wave which will result increatinga three 1 meter ground spike coming from the ground at least 2 meters away from the point of impact. ( highet and circumference varies )


    Silva:

    Mad man:


    1.Ground Fang - in order for this skill to be successfully perform, the user will energy must be successfully distributed in both swords specifically at the tip of the swords. When the right amount of will energy is concentrated at the tip of the swords, the user must impale it on a ground at the same time. Timing is the essence for this skill to work because if it is not the skill will dispel itself.


    Armoured Knight:


    1.Crimson Soul- this ability will allow to infuse concentrated will energy to the sword to the point that the entire sword is engulf with fire.


    Ragan:


    1.Moon Growl - a race lock ability sepecifically for lupines either werewolves or classic lupines in order for this ability to work, an Igorha must focus his energy within his neck specifically the larynx. After several seconds when he is about to release the force wave, ? of the energy must remained in the larynx and the rest is spread towards the paired and unpaired cartilages such as the epiglottis and arytenoid cartilages, the intrinsic and extrinsic muscles such as cricothyroid muscles and thyrohyoid muscles. It will form like a blanket that will covered the entire area with the larynx as the focal point. Ragan tilt his head towards the sky and a very loud growl can be heard. It is like a wolf howling but three times louder.


    Carl Tiban:


    1.Light Coat - basic defensive and strengtening magic for Light Dewin


    1.Soul March: In order for this ability to work a Dewin must concentrate his natural energy at the centre of his palm then spread it equally to his digits. This spell will be cancelled if the Dewin can¡¯t spread it equally to at least 3 of his digits.


    2.Soul March Tri From: is a variant or soul forge spell originated from the Soul march. 3 pentagon shape, one is in his left, one is in his right side and the last one is just above him. All 3 shapes has are transparent at the middle while the spherical ball at each side are flickering. It has 3 effects, healing, defending and attacking.


    3.Mirror''s Ego: left and the right ball combine and became a huge decagon shape. It serve like a mirror, the user will stand in front of the mirror and replicate himself. The Dewin can only produce one replication. The replicated person will have 50% power coming from the original person. The original person does not have any negative effects. This ability will last for 1 hour and can only be use once a day.


    4.White Trap: In order for this to work Carl must continuously inject his energy to the ground and let it ripple. The circumference of the circle and the duration of the effect depend on how much energy he release on the ground. This skill will trap the intended person for about an hour. The person within the trap will not be able to use its primary affinity within for 30 minutes.
