《God's Eye》 Chapter 1: Falling I immediately knew that life right now is screwing with me. Why? Let me tell you. I''m falling, not falling out of hope, not falling in love but rather falling , literally falling in the air. I''m not skydiving, I don''t have a parachute. I''m falling empty handed, don''t have a thing that will possibly or miraculously save me fromdeath. I can only imagine my own death the moment I reach the ground. I can''t scream due to the air pressure hitting me, more like drowning but air. I can''t even breath properly. But after a few seconds I stabilise my breathing and returned back to normal. I took time looking below me, seems pretty calm for a situation like this huh, actually I''m really really panicking, its just that I regained a bit composure and tried to search that might help me in this situation. And thus, I looked down hoping to see a lake or possibly an ocean. Instead of seeing some earth or water, brown or blue, I saw white and green but majority, white. I realized that those white are clouds, and those greens are somewhat like a tip of a mountain. I''m shocked too see not only one mountain but several dozens of them but what shocked me the most is that even though I''m falling in a fast rate, it seems like the clouds below me aren''t closing at all. As I was about to think why I suddenly heard a *ting* sound. I looked left and right then front, something appears across my face, it looks like a blue screen with words in it, i cant read them because of the wind that''s been going in my eyes making it watery, thus can''t see clearly. "..whaa..this..?..can''t...read" I mumble to myself, I still can''t talk straight, throats hurts so much. As if it heard me, it immediately replied, not with another blue screen but this time, voice. "Geez, making me appear like this. So troublesome..." I heard a voice that sounds like a girl in their teens. I looked around but didn''t see whom it belongs to. "What!?, who?!" I frantically said. "First things first. Allow me to introduce myself, My names Mika" As she introduced, she revealed herself in front of me. Her appearance is somewhat normal though, wearing jacket over a shirt and a jeans. A normal girl. But what caught my attention was her eyes, I expect them to be brown or blue but they are golden the same color as her pony tailed hair but her eyes have strange symbols in it, it looks like a white ''X''. All in all she is beautiful. I didn''t replied back, shock and confusion evident in my face. "Making me embarrassed by introducing myself, its common knowledge to Introduce back if someone introduce their selves to you, even though I already knew you but still..." she pouted as she turned her back at me. What can I say, she seems rather calm. Now its my turn to express my emotion. "Why the hell are you so calm?!!" I screamed as irritation took over me. She gasp as if she just realized what was happening. She suddenly snaps her finger and I can see a bit of light shining below and surrounding my body as if engulfing me, I braced myself for whatever is going to happen. Instead of something bad happens to me, I suddenly feel comfortable, I know I''m still falling but it looks like I''m slowing down in fact I''m floating slowly. It took me a few minutes to fully regain my compusure now since the ''impacting the ground'' was now solved...probably. She looked at me and just nodded. "First, what are you? What happened? Where am I? What is that magic? What about my home? Am I going to be fine? What is the purpose of me coming here? Whats gonna happen to me now?" I asked. "You were summoned here for whatever reasons together with your class." (I''m still in highschool.) 3. Where am I?.. "A world called ''Fantasia'' and as what the name implies, a world of Fantasy." 4. What is that Magic??.. "Its a Magic called ''Transparent Ground'' an elementary magik spell. And yes , Magik or Mana exist in this world. 5. What about my home??.. "There is nothing nothing to be worried about, I assure you." I''m seriously worried you know. 6. Am I going to be fine?.. "If you mean fine like ''okay'' then no. Remember this world if filled with dangerous beings so for you to be ''okay'' you need to survive. Oh and from now on you will be living in this world...temporarily" 7. Chapter 2: Gods and Betrayals "You said my classmates and me were summoned and me being here, where are they now?" I asked after she finished answering my questions. "At the Castle" she said nonchalantly. "Then why the hell am I here falling instead of being together with them?!" I shouted as irritation and confusion took over me. I nodded and started remembering what happened. ==Few hours earlier== I got up as I walked to the door since the class just finished and next subject is coming, I noticed some student were throwingglances behind my back, majority of them are girls and the boys are just looking at me while smirking like they see me no lesser than a pig. I am pretty normal if I say so myself, average grade, looks, not so athletic, always reading books, not bothering to talk to anyone. Well the main reason for their attitude towards me is a girl, well not just any girl, this girl, Ema is what you call a ''Queen'' of this school. When I was still a new student, freshmen, and attending the opening ceremony. I was silent the entire time because first, I don''t know anyone and was nervous attending in a net school. As I was listening at the principals speech something rather someone talked to me, I was shocked for the fact that someone talked to me and more so its a beautiful girl, no beautiful is an understatement, but gorgeous, strikingly gorgeous. With her Red hair, emerald green eyes and her red glossy lips. Its like she can bewitch you just staring in her eyes alone. She a half-head smaller than me, which for me thinks its perfect since I''m an idiot. She introduces herself first then me, it didn''t really went go well for me because I often bit my tongue due to nervousness and especially someone this gorgeous was talking to me, I mean who won''t? A girl who is so gorgeous and so kind talking to someone like me who she barely knew. She propose to me, no I mean she invited me to be her friend. And as stupidly idiotic personas I am, I agreed. After the incident which I decided to call ''The Miracle of God'' we began talking all the time, eating lunch together and walking around together since we''re classmates. It took me a long time to notice that every student in this school began to hate me, being with her all the time, I received all the jealous stares from the boys around me. And it also took me so long to notice that I started developing feelings with her. Every time I looked at her in the eyes, I always feel like all the time around me stopped and I disregarded all the people around me. She always shines every time I see her. Her smile light up my world like nobody else. I cant resist to her, she''s just so... I blush every time she looks at me. Its been two months since ''The Miracle of God'' and I''ve decided to confess my feelings that''s been swirling around my head and heart everyday. So one day, I decided to confess. As dumbass idiot I am, I confess to her in public. Yeah, in the lobby. Shouting my feelings to everyone. I feel really embarrassed but I felt it will be all worth it in the end. I looked at her and her face is full of shocked and amusement, I wonder what''s amusing about this, but I immediately knew why. She looks at me in the eye and smirks, shakes her head, turn around and left. I never understood what happened that time, it took me a moment to absorb what happened, I didn''t move in the spot for an hour, even if the school is already starting I''m still stupefied at what happened. As I finally understands what happens, I dropped my knees into the ground and broke in to tears. I went home after that and took an absence for a week. Gradually and eventually, myheartbecame devoid of emotion, and at that moment i swear to myself to never ever again be infatuatedwith a girl, a girl like her. A week later, i decided to attend school again, even though my eyes are red and visible dark circles in under my eyes, I still need to attend because of grades. That''s where everything starts, the bullying. They bully me everyday but I never fight back. In the span of few years, bullying keeps coming everyday and everyday, to the point wherethere was never a time of peace for me. After in a certain time, i felt something inside me snapped, Istarted thinking that killing them would be fine at,all but endured it. Time passed even people started to noticed my apathetic expression and the lack of light in my eyes...Eventually the people who bullied me suddenly stopped, as if they felt that if they keep doing things then something bad will happen to them. Every time we passed each other in the hall she always ignores me as if I was not there.But who cares? Years ago i was filled with infatuatedfeelings, seemingly lovestruck everyday and now all that left was hatred and despise. Before I went out I took a coldglance at Ema and went out. I got out the door and walked into the hallway bumping my shoulder to someone whom I didn''t bother to look at, I entered the bathroom and relieving myself, zips up and went out then went back again. As I arrived in front on the room, I noticed some faint light coming inside from the room, I can see it through the gap under the door. I just shrugged it off and decided I was just imagining it. By the time I entered the room, it was already engulfed with a lightso blinding I shut my eyes. When I open my eyes, that''s when I realize I''m falling. ============ "So, the light in the room, it was your doing?" She shakes her head horizontally. "Actually no. It was the Summoner in the Kingdom who did it." "I thought it was you who did the summoning since it was you who greeted me here." I asked, confused. "No, I was more like a spectator. I already knew that they are planning a summoning ceremonial and decided to watch. Its not really forbidden to summon someone from another world unless you got a permission from the god of that world you are planning to summon, wait, it actually is but in this case i guess it was okay since it interests me, so i negotiated with Gaea." Wait? Gaea?!? I was surprised, even though i''ve become cold these days, the hobbyof mine still lingers in me so i wasstill surprised since this was out of my expectation. I actually think that there is no God in our world, i prefer the scientific explanations of the creation but if there is really God i always thought about the God of the bible. I was really not expecting another god, well I read novels about Greeks and once thought that they were really the gods in this world. "Wait!! What?! There is a god in earth!?!" "Well yes, Gaea." She just dropped the bomb like it was common sense. "Gaea?! You mean the Earth Goddess?!" "Oh so you knew about her." "I read Greek Stories but that does mean that gods like Zeus also existed?!?" "Anyways, I negotiated with Gaea and she agreed, well since we are somewhat best buddies so its much more easier." I just remained silent, since i cant think straight anymore from absorbing all the things that I''ve heard. After a moment, i decided to ask Mika. "What about you?" "Huh? What about me?." she cocked an eyebrow. "I mean if Gaea is the Earth Goddess, what kind of goddess are you?" "What kind of Goddess i am? Hmmm, you can say I am the goddess of Combat. I really can''t hang out this weekend since I promised Clarisse I would hangout with her, besides Clarisse asked me out first. I don''t want to hang out with two girls at the same time, it will leave a bad taste in my mouth. "Humph!!" She turned around behind me and stomped her feet while pouting. "Haha, it seems fate is not with you this time Ema." a girl barged in to our conversation. "Shut up, Clarisse." Ema glared at her. A girl with long brown hair that touches her hips, blue eyes like the sky, pinkish lips, slender body, perfect curves, a true definition of goddess. She''s shorter than me with a gap of 10 cm. Clarisse''s seat is beside me and Ema''s in front. Both of them sat down and ready their this for the upcoming class. I looked around and saw that everyone''s already in their seat but some are still standing, I noticed an empty chair two chairs behind me and thought whose seat it is. Ah right. That seat belong to the man who I met in the hallway earlier, Err--what was his name again? Its already second semester but I still can''t remember everyone''s name who don''t stand out much. Ahh yeah, I think its Romanto? or is it Lomento? Ahh Lorenzo! silly me. Speaking of that guy, I heard that he was quite popular back then, in a bad way, confessing to someone in public but ended up in a humiliating situation. In front of us stood a beautiful girl at my age wearing pink dress that looks like from medieval time, its not just the dress that stole my attention but his beauty, beauty that can rival Ema and Clarisse. I don''t know why but the girl looked tired and ready to faint. I heard a door opened and more people came in wearing armors and holding pointy dangerous swords. "Hide behind me." When he said that, I heard some murmuring behind me, I almost forgot that all of the class are also here. I can see some excitement, fear, woriness and confusion from all their faces. I covered my ears and I can say she can scream really really loud. For a moment nothing happens but then the ground started shaking, Lava flowing out the volcano, seemingly wanted to explode. Suddenly the volcano crumbled itself apart then exploded, I tripped myself as I received the forced from the explosion. And then a HUGE wild fiery dragon appeared. "WHO DARED DISTURB MY SLUMBER!!" I can see the fury in the dragons eye, it walks towards as and stops after a few meters away. I can say he is really huge and I''m like the size of his toe. "Hide behind me." Mika whispered at me and I immediately hid behind her. "Hi Drag! Its been a long time. How are you?" Mika smiled and Wave at Drag. I''m shocked at how calm she was while me here barely standing. Drag squint his eyes, looking at both of us. I can feel his intense sword like gaze upon me. "MIKA?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO NEVER BOTHER ME!!" His head started to have some spiky flame like hair, his body began to change body color from red to brown. His hands started revealing some muscles. After a few moments, he was standing in frog of us in a dignified yet intimidatingmanners. What revealed in front of us is a Human. With red flamingeyes, longfiery hair that touches the ground, and his arm and legs that shows his muscle, not too bulky and not too skinny.. "So what can I do to this beautiful goddess?" Drag said, his voice now sounded husky but sexy.As a guy myself, i started to feel inferiority, i mean who wont?! "And who is that Man behind you? I can feel a huge Mana surging from him." Drag looks behind me. "Just a fallen person. I need your help, will you comply?" "If its within my power then yes." "Haha, don''t kid me. You''re powerful enough." Both of them laughed. "And? What do you want me to do?" Mika looked a me and showed a wicked grin. "Let me change something from your ''Info'' first." I tilt my head but did it anyways. Mika looked at my info and looked like she was pressing something. "Okay done!." She said and the screen disappeared. "We''re now going to put your class into action. Drag move back a hundred meters." He moved back exactlya hundred metersas instructed. "So what do you want me to do?" Mika showed again her wicked grin. "Kill him." "WHAAT?!" I exclaimed, my face devoid of blood. Drag also has a surprised face on him too. "Don''t use magic, even though your magic can annihilate a continent, you''re still weak at it. Use your favorite powerfulbrute strength." She should at Drag. Oy oy oy, do you really want to rid me that badly? Before I can argue, faster than a blink of an eye, he appeared in front of me. He raised and fist his hand. I closed my eyes and used both of my hand to cover my face. I heard a sound resounding likea sound barrier being brokingand a loud explosion. I waited for a moment but felt nothing. I opened my eyes and saw mist of dust. I cant evensee where Drag and Mika is due to the dust being so thick. Suddenly I felt a powerful wind, erasing the dust and revealing Drag with a shocked face, not believing what just happenned I heard clapping from a distance, it was Mika with a face of satisfaction. "Nice punch Drag, didn''t think that the shock wave of your punch would destroy a few mountains in the process. mountain." Mika laughed loudly. Drag just glares at her. "What kind of monster did you bring.?" Drag said. "Ehmm, excuse me what just happened?" I asked, confused of what just happened. "I punched you, that''s what happened." Drag turned his glare at me. "Ehh?" Still confused. Drag pointed behind me and just as Mika said, few mountain were obliterated from his punch. My already pale face became even more pale. "And I punched you in the stomach." I''m so wet. Like really wet right now. And the fact that this can cause some misunderstanding doesn''t help. Yes, i''m wet but not that kindof wet. I am wet because of the blood. The Blood of the bear. I didn''t noticed that i was in my uniform until i look at my self and saw i was covered in blood. Since my Class reached its time limit, i really need to get out of this place to avoid any more beast. Let''s get real here, if i ever encounter some monstrous type of beast again, even if its just a dog, no evena wild cat ill probablylose and there is a possibilityof getting killed by, of course, a cat. Iobsevered my surrounding and it seems like the plain is mostly empty, but what worries me is what if there is some wild small creature here? Since the grass is just around my knee, they can still probably hide if they are small, maybe there is a wild cat too! Aside the plain grass, in some distance it seems like there are some trees, probably a forest. Technically, the plains is more safer than the forest, but i rather go in than try staying here for a whole day waiting to for my class to activate again. We don''t know if that trees are really a forest or maybe beyond that trees there is a town. Let''s take the risk and be positive about this. I started walking towards the trees but my pace is slow due to the thick grass surrounding my knee and my small AGI. It''ll probably take more time for me to reach there. =More time later= I finally arrived. Luckily i didn''t encounter anything besides a bluish-gelatin-thing hopping around, it didn''t noticed me so I just ignored it. Seems like that was a Slime. This is really RPG like world. Unbelievable but after finally reaching the forest, i hoped that it was just a boundary or border to some town but it really was a forest, a big thick forest but really silent. Since it was so silent i decided to move around to see if there is something I can use.I heard some kind of water flow, that meansa there is some river or something around here. I followed the sound and thank Mika, there really is a river around here. I decided to take a bath since i began to smell like a rotten corpse, i also decided to try and wash of the blood of my uniform. Its really hard to wash of the blood but i did find a way and washed some of it, at least i got rid of the smell. I also tried to wash my uniform but the uniform is just so full of blood i cant even washed it all, but rhewhite shirt that i wore underneath the uniform is still good so i decided to wear it temporarily. As for the pants, its still good enough. After bathing and washing, i wore my clothes and started to move again, leaving my uniform behind since its now useless. Walking around i found a very huge tree. Its trunk is very huge that it takes a minute to move around it. Since feeling a bit of tiredness i lay down in the trunk. After the guard let us in, we were surprised at how crowded this Kingdom is, people walking from here to there, huge carriage with extravagant designs passing around, people with either axes or sword in their waists or back, some female wearing cloak and armor, a battalion of knights marching, people arguing over there, guys flirting some group of girls, and especially people staring at me or should I say staring at Nika. It was 9 stories high and it looks like this Inn is an extravagant one. Going in, i saw a lobby huge enough to fit a hundred of people. The designs of the Inn is just simple, wooden chairs and tables, some flower vases in the table and a counter that was occupied by a male receptionist, the lobby is empty and we were the only one inside. He has brown eyes and black hair, a typical Asian guy. But what stand out about him the most is his scar from his left cheek passing through his neck to his collarbone. Seems like they are holding some kind of an activity maybe its for recruiting new adventurers, usually this lobby is full of people but now its empty because of the recruitment." He shrugged. "A child has an average stats of 1-5, if a normal person ofyour age doing efforlesstraining or practice is around 10-15. I''m still dissatisfied about my stats, I''m so weak, weaker than an average teen. I feel pretty useless. I thought that every MC in the story is over powered? But me, whatever this is life, life is unfair. Sorry to say but yesterday there were no promising ones appeared so I hope that today we can recruit some." This years recruitment is quite unusual, the first day is always the most exciting day and the most packed of audience but this time its different. Instead of promising ones, its full of disappointments. On previous recruitments, monstrous people always appear, the exams are soalways heated with battle to the point that there are even accidental civilian casualties. There are even times that those monstrous people are so strong that examiners, who are rank B-A arent enough, that I need to examine them myself. The recruits yesterday are mostly weaker than Rank F in terms of Ranks. All of them are just thugs and people who glorified themselves. If we speak about monstrous people that I examine myself, I have this person whom I hate and like at the same time. It was last years recruitment day, when it was his turn and was faced with a B rank examiner my first impression of him is nothing special, I just though of him as an ordinary guy that want to fulfill his dream to become an Adventurer. But boy I was wrong. He named himself as Taps. The exam for him began quick, but it finished as quickly as the exam began. Another examiner replaces the previous unconscious examiner. He was the spotlight of the annual recruitment, he took 7 matches and all 7 matches it was one-sided, all his win. Without breaking a sweat, wearing a bored look, he dominated all his 7 fights.
