《Dungeon maker out of the dungeon》 Prologue: Silvia the crimson bloodlust Prologue: Silvia the bloodlust Silvia hated dungeons. She really, really hated them. Hateful thoughts clouded her head as she ventured further and further into the dungeon. A demon god thrust its sword towards her. But without a speck of attention she deflected the blade and swung down. She hated dungeons, but what choice did she have? She heaved a sigh as she lifted her slender blade away from the demon, ¡°Hoorah to the king¡¯s command.¡± She gloomily watched the demon god as it struggled for air. Red bubbles formed on its open neck before it lay still. This dungeon... it¡¯s so weak-- She flicked her blade, swatting the blood that stained it. or maybe I¡¯m just that powerful? After conquering so many dungeons, it had simply become much too easy for Silvia to just rush, breeze through and plow away at everything. Every enemy to her was a piece of cake, even this dungeon. But somehow the dungeon gave her a really hard time. She looked back behind her and unsurprisingly none of her comrades were able to catch up. Alone again, they¡¯re probably still having trouble tangled up in the lair of webs. She really hated it. She cursed. this dungeon is the worst. It¡¯s too long!! and so unnecessarily huge-- This was the largest dungeon that Silvia had ever delved in and it annoyed her to no end. The heavy air, the old and dusty cobwebs and the spiders that built them, it hampered her in a way that didn¡¯t harm but still it impeded her progress. The eternally lit but dull torches and the dim glowing mushrooms made it hard for her to see than normal. Also, the monsters that littered the place was just outright galling; demons, spiders, Rock rats, weak and strong all mixed together in a heap of mess, there was no order; whoever constructed this dungeon surely made it so that people would have a hard time running around the place- and to Silvia, it¡¯s taking more time than usual to clear it. With that said, just as usual, she still ran and rushed deeper as quicker than a doe, those small obstacles merely slowed her down just a tad little. She rushed onwards¡ªshe wanted it done quick, to finish and reach the end as fast as possible. Silvia entered a trance and tuned out everything else as she hacked and slashed her way through. She didn¡¯t put much heart into it since there was no danger at all, nothing could harm her in her current state. She was invincible. -- Her tranced snapped, something was wrong. Silvia dug her heels and stopped dead in her tracks. Cool air slid its way underneath her armor crawling on her skin, she shivered. Everything around her was now different, The dungeon had somehow increased in size into a wide area without her notice. It felt like she was outside. Flat and wide, Instead of rocks and decayed bricks; the floor, the wall, even the ceiling was nothing but flat grey walls stretching far and beyond. The ceiling was so high clouds freely floated above. Glowing veins were etched on the walls, like roots from a tree, it spread across the whole area, glowing orange liquid flowed inside of them. It stretched into a huge distance ahead of her; the place was so expansive she felt like she was outside. The only reason she knew there were even walls and ceilings was because of the bright vein like lights. This novel''s true home is a different platform. Support the author by finding it there. Never had Silvia seen a place like this before, she felt a strange inkling that this place wasn¡¯t supposed to be seen by anyone, ever. The thing that really bothered her most were the piles of intricately made weapons, relics, statues and objects that were strewn haphazardly around the hard floor. They had designs that indicated that they were powerful legendary relics, items from a more ancient, intricate and advanced bygone age; it did not appear so. They looked very much new, It was as if they were just made moments ago. Not even a single speck of dust had landed on them. She shuddered, something was off. A heavy weight settled in her stomach, a feeling she had not experienced in a very long time. She ventured forward holding her sword with a tight grip. ------- Far ahead the only thing Silvia could see was a pink dim wall, illuminated by the veinlike lights from the other walls around it, nothing else but that.. A dead end. This is the end; I think I did it. Silvia thought as she heaved a sigh of relief. She had finished the dungeon. She took in the area around her, the only things accompanying her were piles and piles of relics. She grinned from ear to ear, with the piles and piles of arsenals around her, it meant that the king won¡¯t order Silvia to conquer dungeons for a long time, maybe never again. I¡¯ve finished the dungeon! At long last, i can finally go home! As happy as Silvia was she still felt unsettled, something was really off; Silvia could not relax at all. She concentrated on her surroundings, it was faint, a soft melodic tune. She didn¡¯t notice it at first but as she went deeper it had gotten loud enough to catch her notice. It nagged at her, it stirred and churned stopping her from standing still. At first Silvia thought she¡¯d been poisoned, Silvia thought that the air was poisonous and it was affecting her but that was impossible. She¡¯s immune to all poison and no poison had affected her ever again as she had drunk from the everlasting healing pond, but then; this was not the result of poison. It was fear. She was scared; she did not know why but she was. Something was wrong, the dungeon seemed to have expanded in length ahead of her, the pink wall seemed farther away than before. had I perhaps walked without taking notice? She looked around her. No, the relics around me are still the same, I haven¡¯t moved an inch. She squinted far into the the reaches of the dungeon. It was moving, The pink wall was moving! It moved deeper and deeper, expanding the dungeon. Compelled, she strode forward. ----- There it was, wide as the whole dungeon, high as the ceiling; it was huge. It was a wall of pink flesh, its surface squirmed like clay being molded by invisible hands. There were tentacles and misshapen holes strewn all around it, wriggling and gaping. The very sight made Silvia uncomfortable. Hot vapor poured out up into the air as It¡¯s holes spat out chunks of dark steaming slime. A chunk of slime was spat just a few feet in front of her. Silvia protected her face as it steamed and evaporated. As the steam died down, Silvia¡¯s eyes went wide with disbelief. Inside the evaporating chunk of slime was a sword, Beautiful and intricate, it glowed with power. Silvia looked at all the other slimes. Relics, weapons, beautiful and intricate plates, jewellry and strange relics, they have all come from the wall of flesh. A strange scene it was, seeing these masterful works of art and craftsmanship be mass produced by the hundreds and spat out like droppings from the many rectums of this wretched unknown leviathan. A creature this colossal, It was something that she had never encountered. The sound, the sweet melodic tune, it also came from the wall; it came from some of the various holes that riddled the wall of flesh. It played an orchestra, with each hole making sounds that with different tones and tenor, The music was inhumanly harmonious. It unnerved Silvia to no end, this had become very dangerous. Silvia took a noiseless step backward. As if it had just heard her, the wall of flesh stopped dead on its tracks, Silvia froze, sound had ceased to exist. Silvia¡¯s thumping heart was the only thing that made a sound. It was unbearably quiet, Silvia¡¯s heart pounded so hard it threatened to burst from its cage. She did not dare move. A single eye popped out from the wall of flesh, no bigger than the size of an apple. It scanned the surroundings; its eye held its gaze the moment it saw Silvia. Its tentacles wriggled in anticipation and excitement. Silvia crouched low ready to fight or run. Silvia felt fear, a long forgotten emotion caused by the very mountainous behemoth in front of her. The wall of flesh garbled, emitting sounds, pitched tones and syllables through its many orifices. With the sound it made, It took all of Silvia¡¯s wits just to keep calm. The overbearing size and presence that the wall of flesh had jarred and unnerved her very being. A single erratic tentacle no thicker than her arms slowly reached out as if to test her. Chapter 1: The Dungeon Maker Chapter 1: The Dungeon Maker Beneath the maker¡¯s gaze the human held its sword. The maker was glad: there¡¯s finally someone the maker could engage itself with. Expanding and sculpting, being alone with only the company of itself had caused the maker to feel rather dull and monotonous. His time in the sanctuary had become bleak; it had been a long time since the maker went outside, it did not even know the exact time it had spent in the sanctuary, the maker needed a change of pace. The presence of the human had caused the maker to realize that this was the highlight of the day. Is it even day? The maker thought for itself. The many possibilities it could interact with the human roused the maker to no end. But still, the maker wondered. How did the human manage to get past all the obstacles so quickly that it was able to catch up to the maker? The maker studied the human; it was fully clad in crimson armor, not an inch of skin showed. The armor piqued the maker¡¯s interest; it couldn¡¯t tell if the armor was originally crimson but it was certain that the human carried an awesome stench of blood. The human must¡¯ve sailed through the dungeon with speed and ease, sword merrily singing. After a long silence the maker decided to speak. ¡°Welcome, human,¡± It had been a long time since someone listened to the maker¡¯s voice.¡°How long have I seen your kind? I myself do not know but It¡¯s been too long!¡± The maker offered its appendage as greeting. The last time the maker performed this gesture was ages ago but the maker still remembered proper etiquette. The maker expected the human to shake it but instead the human tensed up and gripped its sword tighter. It confused the maker; the human¡¯s action did not make sense. The maker pondered until realization came to him, the human was tense. It had been too long since the maker had contact with another living creature that it had almost forgotten. The way the human held the sword, the animosity it represented... The maker stopped its tentacle, but it was too late. The damage was done. Dashing, the human slashed its sword at the makers outreached tentacle. The human was fast, but the maker was faster. Advancing, the human kept slashing the maker¡¯s retreating appendage, slowly inching towards the maker. ¡°Calm down human! I did not intend nor do I wish to harm you!¡± the maker¡¯s words only seemed to agitate the human further. The human pushed on, slashing and stabbing at the tentacle. Why wouldn¡¯t the human stop attacking? The maker dug deep into its mind trying to recall some of its memories¡ªhumans tended to have different cultures and greetings, a handshake was one of the common greetings but sometimes reaching out sometimes surprises and scares humans who are from a more reserved culture. The genuine version of this novel can be found on another site. Support the author by reading it there. Perhaps the maker had unintentionally insulted the human? Maybe reaching one''s arm is a form of insult? The maker pulled back his tentacle. At once, the human bound at the maker¡¯s main body, blade poised and singing as the human pierced through the air. The maker questioned itself, ¡°Why would the human would jump towards it?¡± But then, as the human flew closer and closer to the maker¡¯s observing eye, it became obvious. It wanted to stab the maker. before it thrusted, the maker swatted the human to the ground. The impact created a dust cloud the shape of mushrooms. ¡°Oh, crap! I¡¯m sorry!¡± The maker had hit the human too hard. Panicked, the maker threw out a tentacle with an eye grown into it, hoping to find the human in the dust and help it up. The maker scrambled, searching for any sign of life; it was such a hard hit that the maker was certain it caused life threatening injuries. Once he finds the human, the maker would patch the human up and make things right. The maker saw a flash of metal and its vision blackened..The maker felt a twinge of pain; it retracted its tentacle from the smoke only to discover that it was cut in half. A silhouette of a raised sword loomed into view. It came fast, blowing away the dust and debris, revealing a crater and the kneeling human at its center. The human¡¯s helmet had fallen off. Gazing through red hair, a deathly glare met the maker¡¯s eyes. The maker learned of two things from seeing the human¡¯s face, one was that the human was a girl, or perhaps a thin long haired man with feminine looks¡ªit truly had been too long. The second one the maker surely knew that it, or more exactly¡ªshe¡ªwas pissed. The human spat out blood without breaking her dagger-like glare. The human started babbling incomprehensible sounds, spitting out syllables and tones in a pattern, unfamiliar to the maker; at this point the maker understood what happened. Language, she was talking in a language that the maker did not know, it was strange, The maker had learnt all of the tongues the humans spoke, in fact it even made a few, but it did not know this one, was it a new one? How long had it spent here for a new language to surface? Now the maker had discovered the reason why the human did not listen. When the maker spoke, the human hadn¡¯t understood a word the maker said. The maker knew of a way to get past the language barrier. But before the maker could act, the human stood up, stopped talking, and in a burst of lightning fast speed, dashed towards the maker. ¡°A speed incantation!¡± the maker shouted in surprise. The human quickly bridged the distant miles between her and the makers main body. The maker hardened itself as the human slashed in a flurry. Sparks flew as the human¡¯s sword chinked away. With a mighty slash the sword broke in two. The human retreated, her breathe heavy. She dashed again, dropping the sword midway then brandished another¡ªa different one. It was from one of the maker¡¯s many creations that littered across the floor. The maker lifted its tentacle to stop her but she slashed with the sword; it released a fiery inferno unto the maker. Deftly surprised, the maker couldn¡¯t guard and once again the human slashed, creating even more fiery explosions that crawled through miles of the maker¡¯s surface. Then the sword cracked, inciting the human to back away and retrieve another. This time a crossbow. ¡°Please stop that! Let me-¡± She released the trigger, murderous lightning struck, crackling and sizzling the air around the maker. With another frenzied assault she riddled the maker with attacks from various projectiles, from Dark throwing spears to ice arrows. The maker could do nothing but watch in awe as the human turned its weapons against itself. But nothing penetrated the maker¡¯s skin, still it entertained the maker, watching the human fight. But as she hoisted the largest claymore, the maker snapped from its awe. The maker grew concerned; its tentacles quivered. ¡°Umm, that¡¯s a little dangerous. Please put that dow-¡± The sword impact sucked away and drowned the makers voice. Chapter 2: The Result of One鈥檚 Unshakable Resolve Chapter 2: The Result of One¡¯s Unshakable Resolve After using so many weapons of godlike destruction, Silvia was exhausted and covered with so many wounds every inch of her body hurt. From scratches to gashes, swells to contusions, cuts to rips and lacerations, from electric marks to frostburns, magic burns, scald burns to burn burns and shrapnel and so on, she didn¡¯t even know what the others types of wounds were called but she knew she had them all. The weapons she used truly were legendary, they were so powerful and destructive that she was caught in their destructive force. For every attack she did, she had received damage from the weapon¡¯s residual energies. What more Silvia was lightheaded, it wasn¡¯t the wounds that caused her faintness, it was the weapons, she¡¯s using them too excessively, she¡¯s bringing power much more than she can normally muster. The use of such weapons drained her and her lifeforce. Her arms shook and her feet were like lead, but still she pushed and brought it all out. She pounded away at the flesh into a seethed fury, as she did the sword in her hands started crumbling, she needed to grab another one before it too broke. She glanced about, without stopping her attacks. Heaps of broken weapons surrounded her, all of them, weapons she used to the breaking point. Despite all this, not a single prick on the wall of flesh, not even a scratch. It filled Silvia with dread. Nothing she did had affected the wall of flesh. Her futile swings had only caused nothing but injury to herself. Drowning out despondency, Silvia screamed, putting all her weight into the attack, with a clang the new sword crumbled and dispersed to shimmering dust. She staggered back, taking the few moments to catch her breath. Not a even a single dent. She glowered. All of those years, gaining power and reaching the top, the very image she had of herself being at the summit, at the pinnacle of strength and invincibility were broken at the face of the monster in front of her, just like the swords around her. During her onslaught, the wall of flesh, without missing a beat, had moved back to what it was doing before. Moving forward into the unseen, continuing to spit out strange weapons and things that she couldn¡¯t use all while singing the same melody. Carrying on as if it had lost interest and its time was best spent back to it¡¯s former routine. The tentacles too have stopped coming at her. Silvia was an insect, the difference in the size between them only proved her conclusion, Stretching for miles squeezed into the walls, the ceiling, the floor as if it was part of the dungeon. As massive as the dungeon itself, the monsters size was just too dishearteningly huge. Again, the feeling of dread crept in her heart. A memory from the first dungeon passed through her thoughts. So, it¡¯s back to that again, huh? The first dungeon. But why now? Why that memory? Silvia glowered, her eyes moist. It was the same sullen fear and anger she had back then. When her very life was in the hands of greedy men. When she was just a mere pawn to the games of nobles. It was the worst, treated like an insect, fodder for others to step on. The memory¡ªthough painful¡ªhad always helped. She would use the memory of her old weakness to pull out her strength¡ªto pull out anger. It was her will, her resolve to never be at the mercy of others. It¡¯s what made her strong during moments of desperation. To not give up, to hold on. She needed something¡ªsomething that would stop her from falling into despair, and she needed a sign, a small sign to keep fighting. If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. The monster and its weapons, the wall of flesh had stopped making weapons that she could use. That was a sign, the wall of flesh payed attention to weapons that Silvia was familiar with using. Also¡ The eye, that single observing eye. It still watched her: her every move, her every breath. She could not discern the monster¡¯s expression but its gaze was proof enough. Silvia, no matter how tiny she perceived herself, no matter how small she was in the face of the wall of flesh, was still viewed as a threat. She had a chance, a chance to win, a chance to beat the monster, a chance to prove that it wasn¡¯t over. She saw a silver glint from the corner of her eye, buried amongst the piles of scrapped metal and shattered gems. She had seen it before the battle but didn¡¯t think it useful since it seemed too crude to be practical. Yet it was the closest object within her reach. She heaved it out from under the debris despite its overbearing weight and bulk. It was dark, an ominously dark sword so black that Silvia couldn¡¯t differentiate hilt from blade. And it was long, tenfolds longer than her body. Her two small hands were barely enough to grip the hilt. It was definitely made for giants and not designed for even the largest of men. It proved unfit for her, but at this moment, it suited her perfectly. She needed to be someone else, someone more powerful. She charged, one final blow backed by her might as she ignored the protest of her tired arms and the the painful rip her legs made. Drawing out all her power on the massive swing she smashed the dark sword into the wall of flesh. It blew everything away: flesh, sound, air, wind, light. It seemed like an illusion as if her mind was playing tricks on her. Time slowed then moved backwards; everything that had been blown away siphoned into a vortex¡ªa rip she had shattered open with her sword. Her sword, it was gone, replaced by darkness, replaced by the rip.She had made a hole in the very fabric of reality. It sucked everything. She tried pulling away, but it was near impossible. It caught her, both her hands were sucked in by reality¡¯s rip, she couldn¡¯t get them out. Her hands stretched into an endless horizon before her. She kicked but her leg too was swallowed and stretched into darkness. Silvia¡¯s eyes were wide with fear. What have I done?!? As if her vision itself was being sucked into oblivion. She screamed but nothing sounded. Any air and vibration was swallowed, pulled in by the dark and into nothing. It was the end, end of everything. Silvia closed her eyes. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡... ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡.. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡. ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ ¡¡¡ ¡.¡ ¡. .. . _____ She felt a swift cut, and then something shielded her and the pull vanished. She fell to the ground; the air was back¡ªShe hungrily gasped, She coughed and coughed, wondering what had happened. She opened her eyes and the black sword loomed just above her. It was lodged deeply into the wall of flesh. She stared at it, a sense of elation arose within her. She had done it, she had wounded it! But something was strange, her vision swirled. She tried to stand but fell instead. It was strange, she couldn¡¯t touch the ground with her leg so she simply fell. She sat up. Silvia cast down a look at herself, and surely, she saw her left leg but not the other. From her thigh down nothing, her leg it was gone. She tried to grab at it, but she had no hands to grasp with. She screamed yet again that too was impossible. A lump had blocked her throat as if her heart had settled within it. Chapter 3 : Ravaged Chapter 3 : Ravaged Her arms were just stumps, and they bled profusely. Her cheeks felt wet, so she tried to wipe it off with her hands but it resulted in a wet smack to her chin and a spray of red. She wiped off the red on her eyes using her shoulder. Slowly, Silvia felt a small sting where her arms were supposed to be¡ªher right thigh stung too. She couldn¡¯t discern why it stung so much; it was unbearable. She screamed at the top of her lungs. It Huuuurts! It hurts! It hurts, make it stop make it stop, I¡¯m dying! Dying!! Silvia couldn''t remember how it started hurting, much less why. Silvia hugged herself as best as she could but somehow that did not work, her arms kept slipping. She could not help but rock back and forth; it was the only thing she could do to keep herself together. Tentacles slithered around her, and like a spring her mind jumped. That¡¯s right! I¡¯m still in danger, the wall of flesh is still alive. I haven¡¯t killed it yet. I need to get away, I need to¡ She forced herself to kneel and tried to hoist herself forward but she couldn¡¯t hold on to anything and she fell and landed on her chin. As she fell she bit her tongue and tasted salty metallic rust. Shakily she opened her mouth and blood poured out. She had forgotten; her arms were missing. She used what was left of her arm to push. It smacked wetly to the floor. She almost fainted at the sound but she finally managed to hoist herself up. But then, she fell again. She had overlooked that one of her legs too was gone. She corrected herself; this time with her good leg. It¡¯s fine, this isn¡¯t a problem, I just need to reach my way back to my party members. Milanese might be able to patch me up back to normal. A flash of the king¡¯s general with a missing leg surfaced within her memories¡ªshe tried to block it out. Milanese could do it, she could heal me. She envisioned herself, a retired adventurer with missing limbs, out in the streets, begging for food. She sniffled. Don¡¯t mind it, don¡¯t mind, limbs can be reattached. I just need to find them. She tried to look around quickly to find her severed limbs but found nothing but metal and bloodstains. Even if I can¡¯t find them, Milanese is a genius! Surely she could figure it out. She could heal me. She could do anything! Silvia tried to distract herself but deep down, she knew she could never get them back. Her limbs were sucked in by the rip. No other forms of magic can recreate a proper limb. Silvia¡¯s future was bleak she knew it but she continued to distract herself; there was no use looking too far ahead. She was still in danger, and she needed to get away. There was no time to think. You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story. Silvia hobbled¡ªevery odd step she fell and had to hoist herself up. She had trouble keeping her balance and staying upright. She hobbled until she felt a tug on her feet. She fell on her chest bouncing lightly against the strangely soft floor. Silvia looked at her good leg. Her stomach sank. A tentacle caught her, she tried kicking it with her stump thigh but the only thing it did was stain it red, it clung like a vice grip. It started tugging. No, I¡¯ll be killed! With her chin She piked the floor and wormed her way off, she wriggled fighting to move every inch to escape. She wasn¡¯t making progress, she was being dragged away. Captured, the tentacles surrounded her and held her in place. Silvia¡¯s heart could not take it. She thrashed and writhed, trying to get away; red spray stained the tentacles crimson. Silvia grew pale; her blood, it was spilling everywhere. Reacting to the blood, the tentacles moved towards the source. Horror filled her soul as tentacles plunged into her missing arms and thigh, and Silvia, being ripped apart, wailed at the top of her lungs. The tentacles wormed through her flesh¡ªwriggling, wreathing themselves beneath her skin, parting away flesh. She gnawed but they were as tough as metal rubber and as squishy and malleable as sponge. They were impossible to break but still she bit like a rabid dog. She pressed so hard that pops cracked below her ear and her jaw ceased to move. She could bite no longer. A large tentacle, thicker than her head, danced in front of her as if to lure her attention. As soon as she turned, it engulfed her. Everything darkened. Silvia cried out as it ate through her skull. It pressed at her neck, suffocating her¡ªshe couldn¡¯t breathe. Flesh seemed to meld together as a searing wave bore through Silvia¡¯s forehead. It plowed through her brain, invading her mind. It felt like an eternity. She wanted it to stop. Blurred images appeared, and indiscernible soft voices echoed through. Then like a mist, a soothing calm spread through her mind. She shrieked. She did not want it; she felt that something was possessing her, but she did not want to be possessed. I want it out! At once everything became clear: she wasn¡¯t in the dungeon¡ªshe was outside. The sun shone above the clear blue sky, and she was in a grassland. Just below her ankles, grass covered the soil, painting the landscape green. Something appeared in front of her. What she saw was a thing, a person with no features. The thing, the creature had the appearance that someone tore a large piece of skin and wrapped it tightly around a skeleton. It had no face nor hair and was simply the outline of a human yet with no human traits. A deep sense of fear rose from the pit of her stomach. It opened its thin arms as if to hug her, to welcome her, to touch her. It took a step forward. Silvia, unhinged by its sight, kicked it in utter panic. The figure crumbled and her action tore reality away. The light blinded her eyes. She gasped for air. She had returned to the dungeon. The large tentacle retreated. She glared at it in defiance. It invaded her mind but she fought it back. But then it returned, shooting up like lightning as it went through her spine¡ªinto her head, into her everything. PAIN. It flared within her very being. Her glare faltered, transforming into wails and tears. She couldn¡¯t concentrate. It just hurts too much, Make it stop. Make it Stop! Kill me! It¡¯s too much, just kill me! She wanted it to stop, to cease the torment. As if reacting to her thoughts, tiny tendrils flooded in waves, they wriggled and pierced through her ears. She panicked and tried to flail but she wasn¡¯t able; her strength was already spent. Silvia could only whimper. Tendrils pushed into her nose¡ªmore and more. No more¡ please, just do it¡ Kil... She weakly moaned as they gushed into her cuts. Finally it penetrated her eyes and all she saw was darkness¡ Chapter 4: Non-consensual treatment Chapter 4: Non-consensual treatment The maker was alarmed. The human was unstable! She had not yet even realized that she lost her limbs and was bleeding to death. The maker needed to do something quick about it. It was the maker¡¯s fault that girl lost them. The maker had to cut them or else the human too would have been sucked in by a black hole. It was unexpected and it stung a bit but the human really did it, the thing the human se her mind to do. She was able to injure the maker. It was a simple matter to close the prick, but still, it stung a bit. The maker tried to stop her from bleeding out but it proved very difficult. The human acted like a cornered animal. With a missing leg, she limped to flee. The maker stopped her by grabbing her unsevered limb, but still she continued to struggle and thrash, she even went so far by trying to bite off the maker¡¯s tentacle breaking her jaw in the process. Blood squirted everywhere as she made an effort to escape. She needed to be stopped before she offed herself. The maker restrained her as fast as possible but she struggled, not letting up. Should the maker just let her free? It was obvious, If the maker let her escape, she won¡¯t survive. The maker had no choice. It was too dangerous to let a wounded person go back to the surface. The maker¡¯s sanctuary was filled with traps and danger. That was not an option, the maker had to make quick work here and now before the human died.Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. The maker attached himself to her, it would be painful but the maker needed to do it to be able to evaluate her condition, it was also a way for the maker to supply her with blood and nutrients in case she needed it. Once connected, all the hormones, all the nerves, everything that she was, was part of the maker. The maker could feel the girl¡¯s heightened emotion, all the pain she was under, the desperation, confusion, and the fear. The maker knew it wouldn¡¯t be able to talk to her in their current circumstance, so it needed to use an alternative way to communicate; the maker entered her mind. The maker was surprised, feelings of nostalgia arose within it, glimpses of what the girl call dungeons were actually the maker¡¯s old sanctuaries, their hidden secrets and treasures even more valuable than the mere material that surrounded them, they were all contained within her, the treasures the maker cherished. The maker wanted to look and delve in deeper but it seems the human, Silvia did not take it well when her mind was pried open. She voiced complaints and resistance, the maker tried to calm Silvia the human down but she took none of it. The maker stopped immediately, it knew that pushing it would not be good for her. The maker did not mind it, the brief look to girls mind helped the maker understand her better. Silvia was just afraid, scared from her current situation, frightened of the wall of flesh. Frightened of the maker. The girl, Silvia was just terrified, confused and in pain. Even if the maker separated itself from her, the maker could still hear her, her thoughts, her plea to end her pain, to end everything, she asked for death. The maker could do no such thing. The human had visited a lot of the maker¡¯s sanctuaries and received all of their gifts and she was too mesmerizing to just let go. But still the maker wanted to grant her wish, a way to end her pain, the maker gave her sleep. Chapter 5: Headache Chapter 5: Headache Silvia could not move, she did not want to move, she was just so tired she wanted to rest. But she was resting; Sleeping in fact. But sometimes, she would be half awake. Something was squeezing at her tenderly, carrying her around, flipping her gently. Moving her with care, she loled off. Switching from partial lucidity to deep slumber every so often. She would remember things like being covered in tight but warm squeezes. It was bliss. On, and off. Sometimes, she could feel something sneaking around her mind, perusing and hiding whenever she noticed but most of the time, whenever she was half awake she felt them, wriggling, vibrating, humming. half-awakeness and blissful slumber. She was just so jaded she didn¡¯t mind them anymore. Silvia let them did what they pleased, they weren¡¯t hurting her anymore, it even felt like they were part of her now. they were just a little ticklish and admittedly their tiny tremors eased her into relaxation. Silvia slipped further into a deep dreamless slumber. Silvia was half awake again, she had just heard a something slump down wetly on the floor, it was soft; like a squishy fruit falling from a plant and plopping on fertile soil. She couldn''t see it well but she picked it up, it was really squishy and ripe . She was tempted to take a bite, a small bite just to find out what it tasted like. It was sweet and filling. As she chewed, something tickled her neck and face, soft silk flew around and caressed her. She heard a soft hum. A lullaby, it soothe her as she continued to bite into the fruit. it was a soft melody, it sounded familiar, it was as if she had heard it just recently- Silvia opened her eyes, surrounded by soft strands of white silk, two curious blue orbs greeted her. Silvia sprang up, only to hit her head on something hard. ¡°Ow!¡± Silvia cried out as she reached for her head. She held her throbbing crown. Her head ached. Silvia massaged it gently; immediately as soon as she did, she froze. She furrowed her brow as She looked at her hands. She gasped, they were sticky with slime but she had hands! She looked at her right leg, it was there! It was also there!. She wiggled her toes, relief and excitement washed over her. My hands! My leg! I can feel them! They weren¡¯t severed? Was it just a dream? Silvia looked at them again. clothing and armor was ripped up to the point where her hands and leg got severed. It wasn¡¯t a dream. But how? How are they back? I feel strange. The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. Beside her, towering above all was the wall of flesh, unmoving, frozen as if it was just a wall. Silvia stared at the wall, expecting it to move and attack but it didn¡¯t. It was as if it was asleep. With danger on the low, she took more mind on her hands and leg, they were sticky so she wiped off the slime on her and feet to the ground. She was still in danger. The wall of flesh, even if it wasn¡¯t moving now; it will move again. She didn''t want to take the chance. Silvia scanned the place far and wide for a weapon but found nothing, everything was cleared, all the weapons, all the broken metal and gems, nothing. It was just grey walls and glowing veins in the distance. She should be afraid from the sight of the wall of flesh but somehow she was calm, she was calmer than she had ever been. is something wrong with me? Silvia heard a hic beside her. Silvia looked under her shoulder, just below, next to the wall of flesh. A small girl sat, her feet sprawled on the floor. A girl? Why is a girl here of all place? The girl had no clothes, she was naked, yet she was still covered. Longer than the length of her body; the gir¡¯s white and silky like hair covered her from top to bottom. Her blue eyes teared up as she rubbed her red forehead. Silvia felt her own head, it was still throbbing. She isn¡¯t an illusion. The white haired girl sniveled, trying to suppress tears. The hit must¡¯ve really hurt her. By the welling of droplets, Silvia could about tell that the dam was about to burst, but despite all this, the girl held on. She breathed deeply a couple times, sniffled, switched to counting numbers, sniffled again, then sang a little tune. She was really trying hard. There were a few moments where Silvia thought she would spill, but the girl didn¡¯t cry. As she watched the girl, her calm feeling slowly faded. Little by little it started coming back, the fear. Silvia was about to grab her and escape this place but the white haired girl¡¯s eyes met Silvia¡¯s, holding Silvia in place. the girl immediately positioned herself facing Silvia, her face sort of held a grumpy look. Judging by what the girl was trying to do, she attempted to look serious. Yes, it was a serious situation, a wall of hostile flesh was just beside them a couple of feet away, but since she looked like she was still about to cry added to the fact that her forehead was red as a tomato, amplified tenfold because her face was pale; she miserably failed at looking serious. Silvia didn¡¯t even think that the girl knew the wall beside her was alive. She put her hands in front of her thin legs placing her palms flat into the ground, ¡°I-i am s-s-sorry!¡± She squeaked as she bowed fiercely. She bowed so fast her head to hit the hard ground. With a thud the girl ceased moving. ¡°Hey! Are you alright?¡± Silvia asked. Did she knocked herself out? There was no response, not even a single twitch. She¡¯s out cold. Silvia leaned next to her, she held both of her shoulders; receiving a palmful of wet sticky slime. The girl was covered in it! Still nothing, the girl lay still, unmoving. She planned on carrying her out of here if need be. Silvia was about to shake her awake but just as fast as she fell, she sprang up and her head hit Silvia on the chin. Silvia, surprised by the impact, fell on her back. The girl held a mean look now, her red forehead was even redder, droplets appeared at the corner of her eyes, her face faltered and almost at once she grabbed the back of her head and her forehead and she bawled. Chapter 6: Sensitive Chapter 6: Sensitive OW! OW! OW! OW! The maker¡¯s eyes blurred, tears gushed. Two spots on its cranium burned! The maker held its head as it bawled. It could not stop. Oh, how unsightly for the maker to shed tears yet it hurts! It hurts too much! Why does it hurt so much? What is wrong with this body? The maker wasn¡¯t used to the body at all. It couldn¡¯t move it normally. Sensitive, this body is just too sensitive!! The maker could not remember if this was how sensitive humans were supposed to be nonetheless right now the maker could not stand it! The two blows on the head throbbed, Every Pump of the maker¡¯s heart made the blow throb, it pushed out more tears. What more, the maker could hear and feel the heavy pulse on them like hearts had grown into them. The maker¡¯s tears gushed along its cheek. The tears on its eyes grew cold as it touched the air, the floor too sapped away the heat from its delicate skin; shivering its very bones. the maker tried decreasing its sensitivity but lo! It could not! The maker could not control the body as it fully should. It¡¯s still too immature! The more the maker try to control the tears the more it flows! There was simply too much tears for the maker to shed. The maker couldn''t help but let it flow. ¡°Hmu! Muu muu...¡± The maker uttered as it coped with the pain. Suddenly, without warning, soft hands as soft as her own slipped through from under the maker, the maker froze. She was hoisted up and carried off. The maker tried to rub off the blur in its eyes yet the tears was still flowing making its actions useless. Winds blew, making it hard to hear. They were sprinting too fast, it was like riding a bucking horse while blindfolded, It was making the maker¡¯s head spin. The maker tried to reorient itself but it was simply impossible, Everything swirled. Dazed and confused, the maker¡¯s new senses were currently useless. Overwhelmed by stimulation, it only made the maker more dizzy. The maker closed her eyes to block everything out and concentrated; the maker reached out, into the very depths of its massive yet unified consciousness, like clay the maker molded small chunks of itself and formed oneself in two. With a quick zap, Muscles started to move and flesh reanimated, As the maker opened its many eyes, It cast down its eyes into the back of the human, carrying away another human.Love this story? The maker opened its human eyes, the world still continued to zoom pass her and the cold winds blew away any chance of using its ears. ¡°H-hey! Wha-what a-are you d-doing?¡± the maker yelled, voice cracking, stuttering, high pitched and very very raw. ¡°Escaping.¡± Silvia said. ¡°B-b-but Why?.¡± The maker shiveringly asked. The human looked at the maker, her face mystified. Judging by her look, the human simply did not know who it just carried off. She sped up. ¡°No! Stop! S-top r-running!¡± The maker felt sicker and sicker by the minute. ¡°Why shouldn¡¯t I? I¡¯m saving your life,¡± the human, sputtered. Barely audible over the winds howls. Wha? Saving me from who? Myself? ¡°S-s-stop! Le-let g-go o-of m-me! L-let m-me tell y-yo-¡± ¡°Shhh!¡± The human violently hissed air in her mouth, ¡°L-list-en t-to m-me, s-stop!¡± Silvia shook her head as she continued to run. ¡°No, I d-did n-not a-ask-¡± ¡°Be quiet!¡± she whispered. ¡°It might wake up.¡± The maker tried to twist itself off of the human but Silvia was just too strong! She held her with a vice grip. The humans sharp metal armor pressed itself against the maker, the metals cold and hard touch send chills and pain and discomfort to every inch of touched skin. ¡°N-noo!, Le-let G-¡± The human slaps her hand on the maker¡¯s mouth, sealing it shut. The maker was being kidnapped! It tried to thrash however nothing came of it, the human did not even give an inch to move. With the new flesh incarcerated, the maker had no choice but to use its other form. ¡°HUMAN, STOP!¡± The ground rumbled as the maker¡¯s voice boomed through its many orifices. The human flinched, and looked back, She sprinted even faster! The makers ears rang, the maker regretted shouting. It didn¡¯t know if its voice was that strong or its ears were that sensitive, it was so disorienting it couldn''t tell which is which. Its ears stung, it felt like needles constantly pricked it. The maker felt like crying but it didn¡¯t want to, so it held it in. The maker did not want to shout out anymore, it brought pain to her new flesh and it did not want that. The few moments of running multiplied the distance between them by ten folds! Panicking the maker, with its old body sprouted tentacles and stretched them out to grab Silvia. The moment it did so, The maker heard the human mutter under her breath. She zoomed forward just before the maker reached her. Grabbing nothing but air, it screamed. ¡°NO!¡± His voice boomed in frustration as it shook the entire cave. The makers ears popped. Red flowed down the makers new ears. The girl under Silvia¡¯s arms, whimpered and promptly cried Chapter 7: Chased Chapter 7: Chased ¡°HUMAN! STOP!¡± A deep rumbling voice shook the ground. Silvia¡¯s ears were split in two. the voice, it came from behind her. Did the wall of flesh just talk? Silvia glimpsed. The wall of flesh was moving, it was awake and it can talk! Her blood spiked, she muttered. ¡°I implore thee goddess of lightning, strike me with thyself and grant me speed.¡± Like lightning, Silvia flashed forward. A push from behind as something swiped at Silvia but then it slipped away. ¡°NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!¡± the wall of flesh thundered. Silvia¡¯s bloody hair was blown over her eyes as waves of air blew pass her. Ears ringing, Silvia glanced at her near weightless passenger, the girl¡¯s eyes were shut tight and her hands covered her ears. Shaking and mewling the girl shivered up the top of her head to the bottom of her feet. She struggled moments ago although now she lay quiet and meek. The girl had finally come to her senses, Now is not the time to struggle. They were in danger and they need to escape. As Silvia ran, the girls hair flowed on her. Her hair and skin was smooth to the touch there was little to no friction against Silvia, coupled with her being covered in sticky yet slippery slime, it made it hard to secure a hold on her, Silvia gripped tighter, pressing the girl against her chest, the girl pules in protest. Slowly the landscape changed. The smooth walls turned to rough rock, the glowing veins slowly faded and disappeared forming dark rocks. It was back to the normal rocks and dark walls. The ground shook, Silvia looked behind her. In the distance gushing its way at an insane speed, the wall of flesh was giving chase. No longer did it had the appearance of a wall, it looked more like a raging flood of loose flesh surging upwards chasing after Silvia. Silvia had even more incentive to run. Suddenly, everything around cracked and crumbled; from the cracks massive tentacles wiggled out. Silvia¡¯s heart fluttered. She drew out power from within and chanted. ¡°Hangiin, Goddess of the air around us, controller of the winds, seeker of the clouds. Your humble servant calls forth in need of thy divine power,¡± She ducked as a tentacle flew past her. She kept running continuing her incantation. ¡°Grant me the fleeting winds, split away air and sail my body through your domain.¡± The wind grew quiet as they made way, it became easier for Silvia to Sail farther ahead. Air Pushed on her back making her run faster. As she breathed in, cool, rich air soaked her lungs. She stomped her legs and leaped far with every step, passing through the crumbling path It continued to crumble, the dungeon around her. With every fallen chunk of rock, pink flesh revealed itself within. Clusters of tentacles, small tendrils and pink sprouts shot up like trees, intending to block her path. ¡°Hangiin, guide me.¡± Silvia blinked small drafts in air were made visible to her eyes. Silvia followed the path. Every miniscule movement the tentacles did changed the path, every small action, every movement made itself visible, showing path to safety. At the dance of the drafts she evaded every tentacle that shot to grab her. She evaded, twisted, bound and lept, Silvia let herself flow and dance along the winds. But there was a sudden and unnatural shift in the air around her. Holes appeared from the exposed walls and they began to suck, changing the drafts paths towards doom.Did you know this text is from a different site? As she touched the ground, she strengthened the chant. ¡° Ilawyun Flash, goddess of light, ruler of thyself, guide me, bathe me in light and move me forward.¡± Silvia flashed disappearing and then appearing at any place that touched light; Landing from eternal torch to the next, to every source of light; from the dim mushrooms to even the tiniest illumination, she rode the light. A strong spell it was, nevertheless it was made with a short incantation. It would drain her but still, she had no choice and barely had time to cast it properly. She flashed to the next source and then- She fell. Silvia fell, she twirled and with the help of the winds she landed back on her feet. Darkness consumed the tunnel. It was pitch black; All the lights were snuffed, there was no light for her ride on not even a firefly. Silvia trembled slightly but quickly she regained her wits. ¡°Ma Dilim, grant me sight and allow me to see through you.¡± Life force was drained within her and the darkness had allowed her to see. The ground rumbled, Silvia looked behind, the liquid of flesh was upon her. NO TIME! ¡°Hora!¡± The world froze and time stopped. Silvia paled and she fell to the ground, landing on the girl she carried that was frozen in time. Air inside her lungs was knocked out of her. She had just activated a worldly spell without an incantation. The spell sapped her life away pulling her through death¡¯s door. She tried to scavenge her lifeforce ¡° Mighty goddess of time, bringer of death¡Children of men weep¡.¡± She kept chanting and chanting, it felt like an eternity of chanting, as time was frozen she lost track of it, she also lost track of what she was saying inspite of that she knew she was still chanting, as her consciousness dimmed and as she breathe her final breaths she uttered the last and final lines. ¡°show me your greatness, spare more time!¡± Like an eruption coming inside her, time reversed seemed to have reversed and everything flowed back within her. Silvia managed to save herself. She gasped for air as it came. She panted and sweated as if she¡¯d just ran full speed without stopping for a decade. She opened her eyes, breathing heavily. ¡°That probably shaved years off my life.¡± Silvia mumbled darkly to herself, as she finally caught her breath. She raised her head. The river made of flesh, would have been just moments away from engulfing her. She shivered. She needed to gain more distance before the world started to move again, for now she had a lot of time though, more than enough to get out of the dungeon. Before she even took a step Silvia heard a click, it was faint but she heard it. She turned around, though slow it started getting stronger and more frequent. What is going on? SIlvia looks around all the falling rocks were still in place, The spell was still activated. But the flesh started jiggling, clicking as it wiggled, unshackling itself from time. No, this isn¡¯t possible Silvia bounced. She ran like the wind but quickly halted. The path ahead of her was blocked by a wall. It stopped her from migrating out of the dungeon. The wall was made by a trump of hard tentacles. She looked back, the liquid of flesh was moving in. She looked around looking for a way to escape but suddenly the stone walls crumbled, the Rocks and stones were still suspended in time but the flesh inside them moved and parted them away; she was now surrounded by pink flesh. Slowly the trump walls started immigrating towards her. Silvia was trapped! She hyperventilated as the walls edged slowly closer. She was cornered. She was at the edge, about to lose it. The walls moved sluggishly as if to prolong her anxiety and continue this torture. She wanted it to end, the anxiety killed her, she was compelled to just jump straight to the flesh and just end her angst. But she started remembering the pain, the crawling tentacles under her skin, But then again she also remembered the soft peaceful vibrations after, the soft humming and echoed assurances. She had never felt that peaceful, ever in her life. She wanted to feel that again; accept her faith and just let it take her again, to feel that almost eternal peace and tranquility after a moment of pain. ¡°No!¡± She screamed at the top of her lungs. She did not want that. Something was wrong with her, she was having inconsistent thoughts. Before she started thinking again, she started chanting. ¡°Ma dilim! Goddess of darkness! Swallow me in your presence and put me someplace else!!¡± She felt the strong pull of power ebbing her life force as both Silvia and the girl was swallowed and dispersed. Chapter 8: Foolish move Chapter 8: Foolish move Silvia dispersed herself from the darkness taking the maker¡¯s new body with her. They were reduced to almost nothing and the maker¡¯s human vision, hearing, sensation, gone. All of the maker¡¯s consciousness was pushed out and then sucked into its old body. Did she just die? The maker questioned itself again. Did I just die? The maker saw with its old flesh, the old flesh that was the dungeon itself. It saw that they were expanded and reduced to tiny particle-like mist. They rose to the ceiling and like ghosts they passed through it. Going through the higher levels of the sanctuary. Death did not occur, I think. The maker shook its tentacle. If the maker did die then it would know, it would have felt differently. It was just a little weird how ticklish it was; getting turned into miniscule bits and pieces, and then dispersed up to the ceiling. Once the new body reassembles again the maker would start to feel what would be of the new flesh. But for now, all the maker felt with its new body was darkness, the new flesh probably lost consciousness. The maker did something foolish, on the other side of the makers face, the sea of molten magma that it had been pushing back had rushed, seared and destroyed the part of the dungeon that it had traversed; The maker shouldn¡¯t have left that spot. The maker should''ve sealed the other side before it even gave chase. Even if the maker did seal the magma behind it,The maker did not feel like chasing after the human and itself. Looking at how the human, Silvia desperately escaped, It might do more harm than good. There were other options. The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation. Turning its attention around, the maker began to push back the molten metals and rocks. Reclaiming the space and areas that it had previously made. The maker was going to do it all over again; It¡¯s efforts from before was wasted. But the thrill, the frustration, and then the magnificent escape stimulated the maker to no end, it was worth it. As the maker pushed on, it did as it always did; it separated the molten rocks and precious stones from the melted alloys that came from the magma. The maker extracted and separated and refined, nothing was left wasted. Everything that was and can be used, will be used. How very convenient for magma to exist if one digs deep enough. It¡¯s searing energy can be used and eaten in many different ways and whatever metal or stone or slag was left can also be used and eaten. Energized with magma, the maker created eggs. Eggs that hatched and borne creatures that would help with it. The maker placed them on all sides of the room, urged on by the heat, those same eggs began cracking and the tentacles inside of it grew and consumed the heat, more mass, more body was created making the maker larger, making the dungeon larger. The maker shivered as the room cooled. Maybe I shouldn¡¯t make too much of these, it¡¯s making the room too cold. The maker considered it for a moment, but then shook its head. Have to stick to the current formula¡ The maker started singing the formula just to prove its own point. ¡°Extra procedures? extra procedures!. Forget how to do it and the sanctuary burns?¡± the maker sang its old tune meant as a reminder to itself. ¡°Give them structure give them bone? Flatten the walls and let them grow? let them grow rocks, let them grow brick. Let the tentacles grow until they get thick?¡± ¡°Bones are needed, Metals too, expanding growing, flowering. Turning all things dead, living.¡± ¡°Abundance of gold and precious metals ? Mix it all up, turn them all to aloys.¡± The maker absentmindedly sang and dug deeper, all the while consuming chunks of magma; melding the metals to alloys and into different shapes. Swords, plates. Works of arts. The maker absentmindedly adorned them with finely cut jewels and powers. Having done this for a long time, even while pensive; all of the maker¡¯s creations were perfect in their own respective element. As soon as it was done. the maker spat them out and proceeded to mold the next chunk of gushing magma. ¡°Gold and iron, Gems.. and alloys adorn them..¡± the maker boredly stirred the metals together for the nth time. ¡°all together and forge them into¡¡.¡± The maker sighs, How long would it take until the new body wakes up again? I really want to wake up! Chapter 9: The price of power Chapter 9: The price of power The maker felt it, immediately it was pulled back into the new body. Everything ached! Sprawled across the floor, jagged bits of rock poked every inch of the maker¡¯s skin. It¡¯s head spinned as the maker reoriented itself. Wanting to puke bile started coming up the maker¡¯s throat, but that wasn¡¯t important. In front of the maker; Silvia the human was crouched low unto the ground kneeling. Her forehead touching the floor; her hands were together as if she was praying. She repetitively rocked back and forth like a cradle madly muttering in deep, ancient tongues. What the mullocks? The maker had seen Silvia invoke power with her own mother tongue but never had the maker seen her speaking anything else. The human spat out mad flames of syllables and complicated rhymes. The maker recognized the language, It was the maker that even made the language. The language of spirits. Specifically made to commune with maker¡¯s beloved treasures. The human, Silvia chanted mantras for lengthening one¡¯s life, she at the same time was also communicating a beautiful but willfukk prayer, the maker closed its eyes and opened them again. At once everything was visible, the secret battle that surrounded Silvia¡¯s chant. Silvia played tug of war against Ma dilim the dark, The thing on which they were fighting over was the Silvia¡¯s life. Ma dilim¡¯s strong pull against Silvia was too much; the human was losing strength. The Human in turn worked hard trying to not to give an inch, But she was working too hard. It¡¯s making Ma dilim angry causing her to pull and take more than she should, it was not the proper way to do it. Ma dilim was bent on taking every bit of life from the human. If Silvia fighting this tug of war, it would kill her and Ma dilim will take everything. Quickly the maker stood up, everything swirled but still the maker walked towards the embodiment of darkness. It was wobbly but the maker was getting used to the new flesh. Ma dilim needed an offering and Silvia as strong as she was; she would surely succumb and die if things went on. The maker touched Ma dilim, offering a life force for it to take. Ma dilim gleefully yanked but then she frowned as soon as she received the offering, she recognized the maker. ¡°you can have them.¡± The maker said. Reluctant, Ma dilim took but she barely took any. ¡°Take more Ma dilim.¡± Ma dilim shook her head. ¡°It¡¯s alright Ma dilim. Don¡¯t you remember? I always have a lot.¡° The maker offered again, this time with a more expansive and alluring lifeforce. Ma dilim hesitated. The maker urged her on. ¡°I can always replenish it, but¡± the maker pointed at the human ¡° she cannot.¡± Ma dilim stared at the maker the maker gave her a pleading look. This content has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. She sighed and relented. The maker pulled Silvia¡¯s life force and returned it to her and then offered more of itself for Ma dilim to consume. She quickly took all that was offered. ¡°Thank you Ma dim.¡± The maker smiled at the frowning Ma dilim, gratitude and love filled the maker¡¯s voice. Ma dilim pouted, the maker knew she didn¡¯t like the nickname but Ma dilim still leaned down and planted a dark kiss before she disappeared in darkness. The maker tittered. Silly Ma dim. Always the shy one. Now that it was over, the maker then turned around, Silvia was still kneeling. Chanting in tongues with barely any breath to spare. She need not do this anymore but she still kept at it, not knowing what has passed; desperate to fight a battle that¡¯s already over. She must¡¯ve been praying for quite a while The maker tapped her shoulder. ¡°Silvia, calm down, It¡¯s done, you don¡¯t have to do this anymore.¡± Silvia kept muttering, clearly out of it. She really must¡¯ve done this for a long time, this is just too much. ¡°Silvia, listen to me, it¡¯s done, it¡¯s over.¡± The maker her shook her but still she murmured and murmured like a madwoman. The maker touched her forehead with the maker¡¯s own in order to listen to her thoughts muddled thoughts better. ¡® -odess of Darkness, forgive thy trespass over thine domain, thou art divine...life... Thy aren¡¯t worth...¡¯ Silvia was deep in her incantation; unaware of everything else. The maker easily slipped through the natural defences of her mind without even being detected. That wasn¡¯t a good sign. Silvia hasn¡¯t fought that hard for her life. Silvia firmly believed that she must keep chanting or it would be the end her life. Nothing else was in her mind but that very thought. Fragile turned strong. The maker thought of Silvia. The maker held her, trying to stop her from rocking too much ¡°Calm down.¡± The maker said directly in her mind. still she kept chanting. ¡°Silvia you can stop now.¡± She kept going. As small as the maker was, the maker held her tight as it could, Silvia trembled. ¡°Silvia, calm down. It¡¯s over, Ma dilim is gone. You can stop.¡± Silvia, finally stopped. She still rocked and her hands were shaking. But she finally stopped. The maker pulled back to look into her eyes. Silvia¡¯s eyes were glossy, she looked so tired as she stared into the distance. Minds still linked the maker asked.¡°Do you want to rest?¡± The maker already knew the answer but it was polite more polite to ask. Silvia simply nodded. Scattered thoughts resurfaced as Silvia slowly came back.. ¡®Silvia wanted to sleep. Silvia was confused and angry. She doubted herself, she blamed herself for being like this, Her world was shattered, she wasn¡¯t at the top, she was at the bottom. Ever since she came to this dungeon nothing good came to her. She deserved the suffering She hated dungeons, especially this one.¡¯ Silvia started shaking. ¡® She started to recall the monster at the bottom of the dungeon. Fear erupted within Silvia¡¯s very being as the burnt image of the towering wall of flesh came into her mind. She wanted to run, there was no time to thi-¡¯ Sleep. All of her thoughts were cut as the human slumped dead over the maker. The maker relaxed, the Silvia¡¯s thoughts had affected the maker. Was I that scary? The maker pondered and pondered while it held the human''s head. Her fear towards the maker was unparalleled, it was so strong it would probably affect her in a very negative way; that kind of fear wouldn¡¯t go away for years. The maker had traumatized her. What should I do? The maker kept thinking. Wondering what to do after the girl wakes. Should I just leave her? Faint noisies echoed within. The maker¡¯s ears perked up, dull footsteps from the distance echoed through the room. The maker reached deep into the sanctuary and created an eye. Humans were running towards them. Armed with tasteless weapons and cheap ugly armor; 5 thin but fast moving humans raced themselves towards the Maker and Silvia. On closer inspection most of them wore the same symbol Silvia had on her chest armor. The maker pressed its lips. If I move now I can still leave. But do I really want to? Chapter 10: Camp Chapter 10: Camp Blissful sleep, lovely dreams. Silvia was sitting on her mother¡¯s lap under the shade of a big tree, birds flew away from the tree as she laughed. Her mother smothered her with kisses for not paying attention. Little Silvia laughed and giggled. She cast her gaze at her loving mother, her mother¡¯s silver hair tickled her nose as Silvia looked up. This was a memory of the time Silvia had little arms and feet; She was back in the farm where she grew up in. Her mother¡¯s sweet voice murmured above her head as she read a story for her out in the open sun. ¡°The great dragon loomed over the city of man, protecting it from monsters that wished to harm it.¡± Her mother continued to read to her about Monsters and dragons, Godlike behemoths and Angelic creatures created and made by the one true god, the creator and the maker of the world, the all powerful being. Her mother¡¯s long hair bristled her cheek and Silvia laughed and smiled and wondered. The world around her goes dark and Silvia breathes deep. She woke up, ¡°One true god, what a load of horseshite.¡± she mumbled to herself. Silvia gazed at her raised right hand as she raised it up to the light; the dim orange light illuminated outside was enough to let her see that all her fingernails were missing. She examined her fingers, her left too had no fingernails. Silvia sat up. Her head ached and her legs started twitching, her right leg most of all. Silvia groaned. Her muscles were sore and her body creaked in displeasure; side effects of overusing lifeforce. She looked at her bootless legs and again, the same thing as her fingers; her right leg didn¡¯t have fingernails. Silvia continued to scan herself, she was a mess. Cakes of blood have hardened everywhere on her, some of it, hers. Her hair was soak and tinted to an unnatural red, she wanted to wash even if she knew that the red tint of it wouldn¡¯t come off. Her skin itched from flakes of dried blood. Someone had taken off what was left of her armor and placed them neatly to the side, with her gauntlets, a boot and a sword gone, her armor looked like an incomplete set. To the side, Fresh set of clothes were placed near her bed roll. Scanning her surroundings, Silvia was in a tent; next to a sleeping girl. A little witch slumbered under a heap of robes; she was slumped on a tent pole while she dozed; a book about healing open on her lap. Her head leaned on an ancient oaky round staff squishing her drooling cheek, saliva drizzled out of her lopsided mouth down unto the open book. Silvia smiled. Milanese, you silly witch, you care too much. Outside the tent sounds of shouting men and women clamored around. Silvia could not remember how she ended up back with her companions. She pulled off the sheets that covered her and quietly changed and rid herself of her red tinted clothes. She then crept, towards Milanese closing the sticky book on her lap and putting it away. She gave Milanese a quick peck on the cheek and then sneaked off disturbing the sleeping girl no further. Silvia pulled away the tent fabric. It was dark outside and not a single star was out, not even Luna. Bright Torches were strewn around the camp. They were the only light source keeping the unnatural blanket of darkness away. She kicked off dirt as she stepped out, chilly winds blew away her messy red hair, further disturbing her bleary eyes. Contrary to the night, the large camp around Silvia bustled with activity. It seemed that not a single one of the adventurers were asleep. People around worked hard. Healers and helpers took care of the wounded patching them up as best they can and then sending them away to do more work. Tanks, Strong arms and heavy weights carried and stacked crates that were filled with valuable materials and items from the dungeon. Crossbowmen and archers surveyed outside the camp looking for potential dangers. The camp was alert and very well defended. ¡°Silvia! you¡¯re awake!¡± She heard a voice from her side. Before she could turn to look the attention of the adventurers around was upon her. Adventurers in armor looked then clamored around Silvia as they started jabbering all at once, overlapping each other in a mess of words. Silvia was only able to pick out a few. ¡°You did great! You cleared enough to let us advan-?¡± One started. ¡°Did you bring any loot?¡± Another interrupted. ¡°Got any idea *clamour* the eternal torches are out?¡± ¡°Silvia why¡¯d you run off?¡± ¡°Found any secret passages?¡± ¡°You brought anything for us?¡± On, and on it went, Sylvia¡¯s head started to throb. They vied for attention, asking for info or treasure or anything they could have to have even have the slightest advantage, unfortunately she didn¡¯t have the willingness nor the ability to give anything away. Usually she would give out things she didn¡¯t need; that usually kept her fellow adventurers away and happy, allowing her more freedom but this time she came back empty handed. Silvia was about to yell at everyone to shut up but then a tall man stood between Silvia and the crowd. The noise of the adventurers faltered. ¡°Calm down guys, can¡¯t you see how tired she looks?¡± A familiar voice towered over the crowd. The rowdy adventurers grew quiet.¡°Go back to work and leave her alone, you can talk to her again after she rests and shift¡¯s are over.¡± There were annoyed looks and deep scowls but nevertheless they Followed their leader, the adventurers slowly scattered and went back to work. The man, Marcus, turned to face her. ¡°Silvia, you alright? You look like you¡¯ve eaten bones,¡± he stated with a frown. Do I look as bad as I feel? Silvia hadn¡¯t had the opportunity to look in a mirror. ¡°I¡¯m fine, Marcus,¡± Silvia answered. ¡°No, you aren¡¯t. You¡¯re as pale as a skeleton. ¡± His forehead creased with concern. ¡°Go back to your tent, you deserve a break.¡± He lead Silvia back to her tent. ¡°Hold on Marcus, I have to tell you something first!¡± ¡°It can wait, right now you need rest.¡± He opened the tent, urging her back inside. ¡°This is very urgent, rest can wait,¡± Silvia stated. Confused Marcus stared at her. She stared back. Silvia held her gaze until Marcus relented ¡°It seems important. Alright, what is it?¡± Marcus said as he ran his hands back through his hair. ¡°I guess it¡¯s about why the eternal torches are out and your untimely return?¡± Silvia¡¯s eyes went wide, Eternal torches? Eternal torches in the dungeons? ¡°Aren¡¯t we outside? Where are we?¡± Silvia asked. Pressure was building up in her chest. Dread came to her as she started to realize where she really was. ¡°Since you pretty much did a swell job in clearing away most of the danger, We moved the main camp inside the dungeon. Currently we¡¯re in the 3rd level of the dungeon¡± Marcus said. Silvia was freaking out, They were still in the dungeon. She bit her lip as she tried not to show panic. Why the mullocks did I think I was outside? As if reading her thoughts Marcus replied. ¡±We¡¯re in a wide area and it¡¯s pretty dark to see the walls but it feels like we¡¯re outside right?¡± ¡°We need to leave.¡± ¡°What?¡± ¡°This dungeon, it¡¯s not safe. It¡¯s too dangerous,¡± Silvia said, her voice a little too high as how she intended it to be. Her eyes darted the darkness surrounding the camp looking for signs of impending doom - nothing, no signs, just adventurers continuing in their tasks. ¡°Are you kidding me, Silvia?¡± Marcus said, clearly baffled ¡°All dungeons are dangerous!¡± ¡°This dungeons different,¡± Silvia said. She did not know if the wall of flesh would follow her but the dungeon right now is not a safe place to be in. Silvia spotted an orange light out in the dark, in the distance slowly nearing the camp. ¡°We have to go.¡± ¡°Silvia, you know we can¡¯t. His majesty has ordered us to complete this dungeon and even if the darkness is slowing down the expedition, it¡¯s gonna take a while to retrace our path back. It¡¯s much better to press forward.¡± As the orange light neared, it revealed that a gaunt ragged old scout carried it somehow advocating a dark omen to Silvia. Silvia gazed back at Marcus. ¡°I¡¯ll go, I¡¯ll retrace the path.¡± Silvia turned but Marcus stopped her in her tracks, her legs almost buckled at being halted. ¡°Silvia, come on! I know you¡¯re already spent, I¡¯ve seen you like this before. It was years ago but believe me I still remember it! Whenever you look like this I know that you¡¯re about to-¡± ¡°Marcus,¡± Silvia cut in. He stopped.¡°Listen to me,¡± Silvia whispered. Her voice was so slow and quiet Marcus had to lean so that he could hear it. ¡°There¡¯s a monster deep in the dungeon, a monster so large it could swallow the whole camp in one moment, it was able to beat me without effort, at all.¡± Marcus took a while to take in the words before a troubled look surfaced. ¡°Well, that changes everything.¡± his voice was low and grave, ¡° I¡¯ll talk to ending the expedition with the others then.¡± Silvia sighed in relief. It was a good thing Marcus listened, the stubborn man wouldn¡¯t even think to leave this wretched place until it was absolutely impossible to finish it. Marcus knew that nothing would be able to defeat Silvia in the dungeon, but if something did beat her then it was time to pack up and leave. If they didn¡¯t they would all probably perish or at the least suffer a fate worse death. Thinking back, from the pure horror show that Silvia faced; she wondered how she was able to get back at all. Silvia¡¯s memories were a little fuzzy. Silvia looked at Marcus, she stared at the troubled captain trying to work herself to ask. ¡°Marcus?¡± he looks up. ¡°Yes?¡± ¡°How was I able to get back to the camp?¡± ¡°Yes well, I assumed that when the lights went out something might have happened to you. So, I sent all the scouts out and after a while one of them found you at the end of the 3rd level unconscious. They picked you up and carried you to this tent.¡± Marcus said ¡°How long was I out?¡± ¡°Around an 4 to 5 hours after you were brought in.¡± Marcus answered. ¡°Like I said, you barely got any rest. So yeah. Anymore things to know? or things I should know about?¡± Silvia tried to recall the last bits of her memory before she passed out, ¡°One more. Was there anyone with me while I was unconscious?¡± Creases on Marcus¡¯ forehead deepened. ¡°Yes, there was a girl. The scouts brought her along with you.¡± ¡°Is she alright?¡± Silvia inquired. ¡°Silvia, worry about yourself fir-¡± ¡°Is she alright?¡± she insisted. Marcus sighs.¡°Yes, she¡¯s fine. she¡¯s resting in a tent. The way she looks-¡± Marcus abruptly stopped then continued. ¡°I do wonder how she got there in the first place though. You think she got carried by a Minotaur? Maybe even a Shlime?¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know, she was with me after I woke up in th-the-¡± Silvia bit her lip inciting a raised brow ¡°Nevermind, where is she?¡± ¡°She¡¯s in the tent behind yours, she insisted on sticking close to her saviour,¡± Marcus answered, brows still raised. Silvia gave him a long dead look. ¡°W-what?¡± Marcus stammered ¡°Thanks Marcus.¡± ¡°Well...glad to be of service, take a rest before you talk to her. She seems a little out of it.¡± Marcus waved her off. ¡°I will! Just as soon as I talk to her.¡± As Silvia walked to the tent, Marcus scratched his head. Chapter 11: A nameless lie Chapter 11: The nameless lie ¡°Hello?¡± Silvia called out and waited. ¡°Anyone there?¡± Silvia tried again louder this time. Silence answered. ¡®Did the girl leave her tent?¡¯ Inside, lights flickered from a candle, illuminating the tent¡¯s wall. Shadows danced and swirled bending into shapes, it was obvious that someone was inside. Almost as she saw them, distorted shadows formed into dark demonic faces and monstrous bodies. Shapes of demons and vicious beasts that mauled on loose flesh and torn fabrics told her what¡¯s taking place inside. With a gasped, she immediately stepped inside yanking away the tents flaps that blocked her view. Expecting the stench of blood, Silvia was instead greeted by fruity scents wafting through the air. Crumpled heaps of lightly wet sheening cloth and silk stained by clear fluid littered the center of the tent. Like a bird on top of her nest, a single girl entangled in white wet silky hair bundled herself cosily in wet sheets. ¡®W-what?¡¯ Confused, Silvia took a moment to let things sink. The slime laddered girl wore a serious expression on her face while she laid on her stomach wrought in concentration; fixated on wiggling her fingers on the dancing candle. Oblivious to the world, the white haired girl continued to play with the candle and did not even notice Silvia enter the tent. Silvia pinched her eyes shut and rubbed them down. Maybe I do need to rest after all. She opened her eyes blinked rapidly, clearing any smudge that came from rubbing it. Silvia sighed, there was nothing here but a girl playing with shadows. As they were in danger before Silvia had little time to take a good look at the girl. Now however the situation wasn¡¯t as dire as before and all of Silvia¡¯s focus was on the strange and oblivious girl in front of her. She played with the candle, making nonsensical shapes out of shadows out of her fingers. She looks rather unfed. The first thing Silvia noticed was how thin the girl was. She had less than half the amount of fat you would expect from a normal child. It looked like she hasn¡¯t eaten anything in awhile. How long was this girl in this dungeon? She was pale to the point that suggested that she hadn¡¯t seen sunlight for a long time. She had the stature of a small child, It seemed like the girl was a decade younger than Silvia but then again, her strange and exotic appearance hampered Silvia in judging her age accurately. A foreigner. Silvia wondered how a foreigner was able to get inside a dungeon inside the kingdom¡¯s territory. Is there perhaps a different entrance outside Gwin? It was very possible, so massive was the dungeon that it probably stretched out to some of the territories outside the kingdom. If Silvia was right, it was news that the king needed to know as soon as possible. Rights to the dungeon must be determined. Entrances must be closed, borders must be redrawn, treaties must be held. She wanted to ask the child which kingdom she came from but Silvia could not help but continue to stare. As foreign and childlike the girl appeared to be, she was beautiful; beautiful than any other foreigner or Gwinyan Silvia had ever met. Eyes as blue as the sky, hair as white as snow; Her beauty itself was another clue to who the foreigner was. Silvia had met many beautiful people; most of them stationed in castles or owning castles themselves. So vain are some these ¡®beautiful¡¯ castle owners that they usually handpick men and women with alluring qualities to employ them as ¡®Servants¡¯ and ¡®Maids¡¯. Most of the time, due to promise of better circumstances, those people usually accept. The girl could very well be one of those people. Still, the picture that Silvia painted on her head wasn¡¯t complete. She was a foreigner and that added more color to what her identity was. This content has been misappropriated from Royal Road; report any instances of this story if found elsewhere. Either a foreign noble or a foreign servant, maybe even a captured slave. Silvia chanced upon the foreign girl in the deepest part of the dungeon. No sane noble, especially a child would venture this deep in a dungeon. Unless, other things were at play here. She was found naked, covered in slime from some monster or the other, as bad as that sounded; a dark nagging thought occurred to her. Sometimes, the most immoral of nobles would go so far as attaining desirable and exotic ¡®Servants¡¯ in unlawful ways. Smuggled through unnatural places such as these dungeons. There was also a chance that she was placed here in order to get rid of her. The girl was still covered in slime, but as naked as she was before, she now wore a long white tunic and that too was covered in a sticky mess. Silvia still did not know how the girl came to be in the deepest parts of the dungeon or what her fate was before she met her. All she had were guesses. Was she brought here by monsters? Or by men?looking to finish her off in the most horrible way after serving her purpose by order of her mast- The girl coughed looking at Silvia, one eye wide and one eyebrow high on her forehead. ¡°Sorry for barging in like this.¡± Silvia blurted. ¡°Nobody answered so I just went in, just wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong.¡± The girl craned her neck, a wild look in her eyes. ¡°Er, from the outside It kinda looked like you were being attacked, ¡± Silvia was met with a confused look. ¡°since we¡¯re in a dungeon, better safe than dead.¡± Head still tilted, the girl¡¯s eyes narrowed as she assessed her words. Silvia was about to say more but then the white haired girl unbundled herself from her sheets and pushed herself up, her movement not so clumsy as it was before. ¡°I understand.¡± The girl lowly chimed as she bowed. ¡°Greetings.¡± She promptly raised her head, as if waiting for a response. As exotic as the child looked, her greeting was much the same. Not knowing how to act accordingly, Silvia half nodded and bowed. ¡°How are you feeling?¡± ¡°My head still hurts but i¡¯m fine and comfy,¡± She spoke slowly, her voice somewhat came as soft yet high pitched chimes in Silvia¡¯s ears, in all counts; it was in perfect Gwinyan. She gave Silvia a long look right as she answered. ¡°What about you? How are you feeling?¡± Silvia smiled, for a half starved likely traumatized foreign child to show concern and say that she¡¯s fine and comfy; Silvia liked the child already. ¡°I¡¯m feeling pretty good.¡± The child made a face, it was obvious from her face the she did not believe her. ¡°No need to worry about big o¡¯l me, little one. I¡¯m a tough adventurer! I¡¯ve gone through much worse, these tiny bumps and scratches don¡¯t even hurt one bit.¡± Silvia lightly said. ¡°It doesn¡¯t look like it, You¡¯re covered in blood.¡± ¡°And you¡¯re covered in slime.¡± ¡°It¡¯s just slime.¡± ¡°And this is just icky monster blood! ¡± Silvia playfully said. There was another long silence. ¡°My name is Silvia, What¡¯s your name?¡± Silvia said, breaking the silence. ¡°Greetings, Silvia. My name is- is-....ay- I.¡± The child bites her lip as she tried to answer. ¡°I don¡¯t think I have a name.¡± It was a red flag to Silvia, the girl thought she had no name. Perhaps she had forgotten about it? Was this girl, so damaged by her stay in the dungeon that she have no recollection of who her name was? ¡°That¡¯s strange, surely you¡¯ve just forgotten your name?¡± Silvia asked ¡°No, I just don¡¯t have one.¡± ¡°Didn¡¯t your parents give you a name?¡± Silvia asked. ¡°I don¡¯t have parents.¡± The child said. Oh pigshite ¡°Oh, huh, I see¡ ok¡ so that¡¯s why.¡± Another long and awkward silence. Silvia scratched her blood caked head. ¡°If you don¡¯t have a name surely other people would have given you one.¡± ¡°I haven¡¯t been with other people, not for a long time, I think.¡± Ah, that confirmed it, she had been in this dungeon alone without people, probably for years; enough time for her to forget her name. ¡°I see, alright then. Do you still remember what people called you before you were in this dungeon?¡± Clearly the child looked troubled as she suddenly closed her eyes and wrapped herself in deep concentration. The girl took her time and Silvia waited. ¡°A slave,¡± she said. She opened her eyes, staring and measuring. Looking for something as she peered into Silvia¡¯s eyes. ¡°People have called me a slave.¡± Chapter 12 : The convoluted truth Chapter 12 : The convoluted truth It gave the maker something to think about. Silvia had just asked it what people used to call the maker when it wandered the surface. The maker dug deep looking for the answers, but found Silvia''s question too vague. What did the humans call me before? People had given the maker numerous names, teeming titles, a legion of labels and countless classifications. The maker had names, old names. Names so old that it feels like they didn¡¯t belong to the maker anymore. Improper names that originated from the makers old, wrinkled, folded and ancient flesh. Flesh that was shed, consumed and repurposed and then shed again. Silvia had asked for it''s name, but the maker had none to give. For the flesh didn''t have a name yet as it was new. The maker could have made one up, but felt it was improper to do so. While at the same time, none of the names of old seemed to fit. Names should be given, not made by oneself. The maker had a long list of titles to choose from. The highest ranking titles ranging from an Emperor or General all the way to the life of a slave, and even less than that. Or plentiful professions such as a Head Chef, Master Blacksmiths or a simple shrimp boat captain. And varying from a rich Gold merchant to an old leader of beggars. It was a long list of titles and jobs the maker used to have. Accumulated during a span of lifetimes, or taken from these titled humans themselves. ¡®The adventurer¡¯ probably wasn¡¯t aiming for titles. Besides it¡¯s hard to believe a child would be titled as Emperor¡ even if it¡¯s happened before. Silvia wasn¡¯t necessarily interested in titles, she simply wanted information. Or more specifically, something that would make sense of who ¡®the girl¡¯ covered in slime was. That was the real question, finding out what to classify or label the unknown as. To find something that she would know and understand. The maker was a living and breathing thing. This was the whole truth and could be easily understood. But the maker felt it was too vague. The maker didn''t like vagueness, nor did it think that this would answer Silvia¡¯s question. A troubling matter indeed. There were labels, labels that stuck and clung the most in the maker¡¯s mind. The maker was labeled a monster, paradoxically it was also labeled as a human. Humans used to call it a demon, sometimes even the devil itself. Laughably, it was even labeled God a few times. All the labels and the titles given by dead humans from long ago gave the maker a sense of conflict. It did not want to give away any of those labels. It probably wasn¡¯t a good idea as well. Giving away those labels would cause misapprehension. If it called itself a monster, or beast or something of that like It would most likely lead the maker getting stabbed by ¡®the bloody monster killer¡¯. It needed to hide that piece of truth. Was that lying? Those labels, most weren¡¯t even true. It was just how some uncomprehending humans described the maker sometimes. A form of reality shaped by minds that weren¡¯t the maker¡¯s, using labels as a crutch to help them perceive or simply just call the maker something besides ¡®thing¡¯,¡®that¡¯ or ¡®IT¡¯. It was a maker, from its many experience it made things. It made ¡¯dungeons¡¯ , weapons, creatures, ¡®things¡¯. It just made and created until the ¡®adventurer¡¯ arrived. And as Silvia the adventurer saw it, she saw the maker as a monster, a wall of flesh, a form of truth in her eyes. A monster for the adventurer to defeat. A bad villain for the good hero to overcome. A trope for a story¡ The maker almost smiled. It found an answer. What was the current reality of Silvia? The one that gave the maker such a mind altering question. Silvia had beforehand gauged what the maker¡¯s new flesh was while it wasn¡¯t looking. She labeled the maker as beautiful, foreign. Even though it was flattered by being labeled as beautiful, as the new flesh went, the maker didn¡¯t intend to make itself look foreign, at all. It didn¡¯t even know it looked foreign right before Silvia thought it up.This tale has been pilfered from Royal Road. If found on Amazon, kindly file a report. It was also labeled as a child; an innocent, a non-threatening entity. A weak and defenseless human girl which most humans would find hard to perceive as something large, scary, imposing and that must be struck down quickly by striking it¡¯s eyes. Silvia also had guesses for ¡®the foreign girl¡¯. The uncertainties, a noble, a servant, a slave. Temporary labels built upon by substantiation. The maker didn¡¯t want to lie, but it didn¡¯t want to tell the whole truth either. Being unnecessarily honest would lead to the maker having extra holes than the one accounted for. Silvia lied when she told the maker that she was fine and the maker didn¡¯t like it and as much as the maker wanted to lie as well it would be a hypocritical thing to do, it would have to arrange a ton of things, make some spaces and the maker had enough things to consider. an incomplete truth was much better. Was that also lying? It was time to choose, the labels that Silvia had guessed. Labels that she had drawn upon conclusion. First was the label of a noble, a medieval human. Educated, one who owned land, owned titles, had connections. too hard and too many things to consider. A servant, civil, service, probable but too broad. Servants had too many branches, there were servants that worked in boats, that worked in castles and farms and all other things, too many vast expectations and too little info. It was possible for them to be the uneducated but again too little info. too many missing variables. A slave, grunt, ignorant, timeless, dumb, bottom class. Humans would have basic expectations for a slave, labor, gratification and servitude. Slaves were clueless, clueless enough for them to fall to their deaths when their masters wanted to bring them into the afterlife, as clueless as the maker is of the new and of the outside. Easy to emulate, easy to be. A trope, a damsel in distress. Or a slave in distress. It quickly rummaged through its memories, digging past loads and loads of memories from sanctuary creations. Deeper and deeper into the depths.. The maker was in chains, her wrists were red from the press of the shackles. Her feet were severed and seared into stumps. Her tattered dress was covered in stains, red, white and soot covered the whole of her body. Dirty blonde hair blocked half of her view. She parted her hair. The cage bounced and she slammed her head on the bars. Surrounded by plains, she was being carted off by a horse accompanied by slant eyed soldiers carrying spears and flaming wooden rockets. She looked to her side, there was a huge man riding an equally huge horse, a dark smile was etched upon the man¡¯s face as he looked her way. He continually tapped his shoulders with a glaive heavily decorated with the heads of¡.. he sneered in malice as she lowered her head and wept. The taps continued as they rode on¡.. The darkness turned to green. The scenery changed, again her black hair blocked her view, it was disheveled but it wasn¡¯t filthy. She was in a forest, her hands were tied to a long sturdy piece of bamboo, 2 tribal men, 6 women and 3 children of her tribe were tied along the bamboo. Her tribe was being forced to move through the forest. Dragging them along at each end were tribesmen from the enemy tribe. They shouldn¡¯t have trusted them. The talk of peace and unity was a lie. They shouldn¡¯t have let them in. They should have been more guarded. A man from her tribe yells, They stopped. A man decorated in bones and leaves drew his stone axe and smashed it in between her tribesman''s eyes. They were poked with bones forcing them to move forward, dragging her dead brother along. It turned from green to blue, a whip cracked and the maker yelled in pain. Streaks of blood and sweat trickled down his sweltering back. His eyes weren¡¯t good, his uncut wet grey hair didn¡¯t help either. Drums drummed his ears and a man was shouting. He continued to row, rowing along the drums. Salty humid breeze flowed through his face, he closed his eyes, he savored every moment of it, committing the very thing into memory. A whip, cracked and he screamed in pain. The maker ruffled and dug through more, being a slave was indeed timeless. I was a slave a couple of times, The maker dug through more, some of the slaves died as slaves. or did I just simply ate a couple? Regardless it recalled lives of being a slave ¡°A slave.¡± the maker said. A slave does not know common sense, A slave does not know too much of the truths, all of what they knew was pain, pain incites compassion and pity. The maker needed pity and defenselessness, a slave is also one of the guesses that Silvia made so it was more than a guarantee that slaves were common. As Silvia took the answer in, she bit her lip, her face furrowed. Panic rose within the maker as the same look she had overlapped with a bad memory of whips and an angry master. Was it too far fetched? Or does she know I¡¯m not telling the whole truth? Frozen in place. Panic erupted inside the maker as it scrambled to dig into its memories, looking for ways to help her run away from an angry master. Was it too close? Too believable? had she just now discovered that I could also read her mi- ¡®pigshite, not again. Poor child, that¡¯s just too much. ¡¯ The world stopped slowing around the maker as it held its bearings. Ah, she believed it. That¡¯s good. The maker tried to prevent itself from smiling.
