 prologue - the day i died from a stone.

    The day was colder than usual with the late autumn wind blowing into my hair, in turn whipping me continuously all day with no end.


    On this day I was to meet my ''many, many'' friends near the old well on the outskirts of town, when I got there all ''2'' of my friends were there waiting for me.


    (Friend 1):"what took you so long Ruby, you took the bet that you could jump the well, or were you lying just to get us to come here and laugh at you."


    (Ruby) "yeah, yeah, make sure you have my fiver when I clear it easily"


    after saying this Ruby pulled her jeans up and got up on the rim of the stone well before breathing deeply.


    (Friend 2): " well you going to do it or what?"


    (Ruby): "shut up I¡¯m gon. . ."


    as she was speaking one of the stones under her feet becomes dislodged causing the whole well to collapse, taking her with it.


    (Ruby): "WHHAAAAAAAA-aaaaaa . . ." (''SMASH!!'')

    the two friends at the top of the well, after seeing the girl fall rush to the edge to look for her with one of them starting yelling,


    (friend 1): " RUBY ARE YOU STILL ALIVE"


    before they see into the darkness and finds the body of Ruby with pieces of wood around her head covered in blood they look at her corpse with faces that show sadness.


    (Ruby''s last thoughts) - as I fell down the well my life flashed before my eyes and I realize my life sucked; bad family, bad neighbourhood , little money, dying young, at least theirs a silver-lining ''no more school''-


    as her body hits the bottom of the well, her head hits an old discarded bucket making it so shards of wood penetrate her skull killing her brain near instantly but with her last moments she makes a joke in her mind,

    as the sounds of dripping water settles the girl opens her eyes and sees herself in a clear white room avoid of anything except a single golden pedestal with a human shaped hand print imprinted into it, when getting up the girl''s body feels heavy while her mind is confused from the memories of her dying in the well, but now she¡¯s here.


    (Unknown): "young child, who died before her time i offer you a chance of a second life in a new world¡±


    the girl turns around frantically looking for the person who said that but to no avail,


    (Ruby): " what do you mean, reincarnation or something like that ?"


    (unknown): " yes exactly, all you have to do is touch the podium in-front of you and choice what you wish to be"


    the girl walks to the podium and examines it before placing a hand where there is already an indented hand-print, with this the whole podium starts glowing.


    (Ruby): "e-rm OK, now what am i supposed to do no."


    she is cut short as the podium''s base disappears leaving a hovering plate where it was connected to the girl now with clear blue screen with writing.

    (unknown): " well the ''goblin fish'' is a monster in the form of normal fish but with the quantity and of goblins, while the red-eyed part is due to a gift I am giving you for your reincarnation"


    (Ruby): " so I am basically becoming a fish with magic eye''s, OK i never though i was ever going to say that"


    (unknown): " yes and I know the feeling"


    (Ruby): " well it seems I¡¯m ready but is there a way to take this thing with me and smaller, since you know I¡¯m going to be a fish"


    (unknown) " sure but I¡¯m going to take all your skill points for it"


    (Ruby): " low blow dude, low blow"


    (unknown): "well good luck hope we can meet again"


    (Ruby):" I don''t" as she finishes this the white room starts to crack open from the top. With the room now flooding with water this is her first step or ''fin flick'' in a new adventure.

 chapter 2: why do bad things only happen to me?

    As the room is flooded with cold water, Ruby''s body starts to glow and grow in size to the shape of a large salmon with razor jagged teeth popping out of her mouth as well as her distinct red eyes that have no iris or pupils making her eyes fully red giving off the illusion her eyes are made of rubies, once the water consumes her she gasps as water enters her newly formed gills starting her reborn heart.  (Salmon x piranhas)


    (Ruby):''cough , cough'' " ow, I am never doing that again" Ruby turns around looking for anything still in the white room before swimming thought the crack in the ceiling.

    As Ruby escapes the white room she looks back and sees all along the white room was actually her own egg, after learning this she observes her surrounding, in the surrounding area there is a swarm of goblin-fish the same size as her, once she looks more closely she see the goblin-fish are all pushing each other out of the way to get to the corpse of something that looks like an eel crossed with a bloated puffer-fish, while they are swarming at the corpse they push each other into the protruding spikes, that if Ruby had to guess were secreting poison because the other goblin-fish that were pushed into them stopped swarming before floating slowly to the sand-bed, dead!


    with her stomach growling, Ruby swims slowly and shake-fully towards the swarm since this basically her first steps/flicks, in Ruby''s mind she just sees the idea that going for a hazard like that when the chance of success is absurd, so Ruby thinks -if I am going to eat something it will be for a better chance of succeeding than that-


    after thinking this she looks at the swarm again then the corpses on the sand-bed, with little remorse she swims to the corpses on the sand bed that were her brothers and sisters, readying her jagged teeth before tearing into one of them.


    (Ruby):''munch, munch'' -this tastes terrible but i have to eat it to survive-


    as Ruby finishes the first corpse 2 messages appear in-front of her.

    (Ruby): -well nice and oops- as Ruby turns her head to see if the swarm of goblin-fish has no took notice of her action, luckily that has no noticed, so before they can notice Ruby repeat''s the action again on another paralyzed goblin-fish for her own survival and with this another window appears again.

    (Ruby): -well those are new, I guess but there already known to me but what do these green crosses mean?-


    her thoughts are cut short by one of the goblin-fish from the swarm, trying to tackle her face first, but luckily Ruby sees it coming before it would hit and she evades in the nick of time.


    (Ruby): -that was close- she though as she swam away as fast as she could away from the swarm, but this catches the attention of the entire swarm instead alerting them of her presence immediately to them, with little need for thinking the swarm chases after Ruby with all of their mouths open ready to consume her. . . .

 chapter 3: Ill pop out for a bite to eat.

    As the swarm chased our dear Ruby, they bit and gnawed as the water trying to reach her.In the chase the lone goblin-fish navigated around rocks and formations in the sand to delay the hungry swarm, till the sand under ruby shakes until a cloud of sand is shot upwards into the center of the swarm, as the sand clears the figure of a bloody and scared worm is shown writhingtrying to contain theconsumedswarm.


    as the writhing stopped the worm started to slowly sink back into the earth, during its very slow decent ruby thinks about the skill she gained from Mr disembody-edvoice. wanting to activate it ruby intensely focuses her eye sight on the worm till a message appears toher.

    from this Ruby smiles internally as she now just sees the worm as a weak target, before the worm is even half submerged ruby charged the worm while targeting a bloody scar that didn''t seem to have healed yet.

    as she collided with the worm she boar her razor sharp teeth into the wound she was targeting, with the pain hitting the worm it flailed trying to dislodge Ruby while she was eating it all the while the worm tried to submerge again.


    from the continuous biting of ruby the worm finally flailed its last before it collapsed on the sand floor.


    to ruby she didn''t know it was already dead so she just continued to bite her way thought till she came out on the other side.

 chapter 4: where the hell am I ?

    After the duel with the Taros worm, Ruby quickly starting to eat the corpse of the worm before the swarm would regroup and restart the chase.


    But while Ruby was eating the corpse of the worm, it seems they never reformed into a swarm, shrugging this off as a blessing she started to fully consume the corpse of the worm.


    As Ruby finished eating the worm a set ofmessages appeared in front of her, before another appears

    After 5 minuets of silence she realizes something,


    Ruby-Where the hell am I ?-

    After thinking about her location and wandering around for about 14 minuets to no avail, Ruby senses a displacement in the water and being The curious Ruby she is, she swims towards the disturbance.


    After 3 minuets of searching Ruby stops in place and sees what caused the disturbance,

    Ruby''s first move against the 3 giants before her is a ''strategic withdraw''.

    As she makes a big enough distance ( 5 meters) and hiding behind a rock she observe the giant''s.


    the 3 giants are all male due to no mounds being show, 2 of the giants carry short-swords with one of them holding a shield in there hands while the 3rd giant holds a two-handed sword on his hands, the other short-sword giant is holding a blue burning Bush like thing in his hand providing light to there immediate area


    they are all wearing armor but its all different kind except for the head piece where they are wearing a aquamarine helmet that covers their face''s, the armor style of one of the giant with a shield reminds Ruby of a knight while the giant with the blue burning bush reminds ruby of a hunter and the 3rd giant armor looks like both of there''rs were combined to form the 3rd giant''s.


    after a minuet of watching the 3 giants Ruby remembers what happened when she focused her sight on the worm, from remembering this she starts to focus on the trio of giant''s, with this 3 separate status screens appear.

    from seeing that the 3 are actually humans in this world Ruby is distraught at the fact she is equivalent to the size of a hand, be while being curious of there presence here she swims after them just out of sight.

 chapter 5: is that moss or a boss ?

    For the most part of Ruby''s following tactic for information of where is he leads to little results with mostlyjust information of thisplace, this place is called ''the underwater cave of poll'' with it being adungeon that consists of one bigroom that is estimated to be over 300 meters squared.


    (3 and a half football pitches longby 6 and a half football pitches wide equaling the estimated area of 23football pitches)


    When Ruby heard this, she felt shocked from the fact her birthing place was a dungeon but this just gave her a new goal, to escape the dungeon.


    While Ruby was tailing the trio she kept there status screens open, in-front of her so if they become super weak they she would attack without notice, luckilyby doing this she finds a weakness to them,


    (Ruby): -Their helmets are what seems to allow them to breath underwater but for it use it there mana is drained, this means if they don''t turn back before hitting the halfway point ofthere mana they would beeasierto killthenwouldn''tthey-


    literallyright after realized she thought this she contemplatedof why in the world was she thinking like that, was it her inner monster, or was it just that she sees the trio as large lumps of EXP, but there isalso the fact there in a dungeon so maybe it has the natural effect to make anything you see as food, who knows but at this time Ruby''s first and only objective is to level up to become stronger.


    As she was contemplating this the mana of Lucas(of the trio) just went past the turning point signalling that they shouldretreat.


    But they did not.

    After a while Henrietta''smana did the same but they still didn''t turn back. still curious to why they won''t turn back ruby follows them closer,while following them.

    as the mana of ''polos''was about to reach histurning pointthey walk onto an area that had darker sand below them, when ruby tries to follow them into this area, signals of fear shock though her body telling her to turn back and that there isa monstrous creaturebeyondthis point, but to ruby this just makes her smile (in her mind since only clown fish smile)as this means she''s found what every dungeon should have a ''boss'', as Ruby swimming into the darkened sand area a message appears in-front of her.

    as she thinks this and followingthe triotill when she sees a series of 5pillars that form a square with the fifthpillar in the center thatreaches from the darkened sand to some where up abovewhile the other 4 pillars join onto the main pillar creating a series of archways, nearly every point of the 5 pillars arefully covered in agreen andpurple moss like substance with large bubbles of both colors floating thoughtthe archways forming a floating ring, and on the sand the moss is spread between the pillars sparingly creating a patch work of moss, and on the moss patchessome purple leaf like plants have grown to the size that they are about the half that of a human.


    From seeing this Ruby is in awe at the monster in-front of her, but she regains her senses as one of the leafy plants tries to reach for her, seeing this Ruby backs away and focuses her eyeson the middle pillar till a message appearsto Ruby.

    As Ruby looked at this stat screen she was just in awe that her heath isn''t even a hundredth of the bosses, but also she was confused with the fact it has a lot of stats at 0, but when she contemplates that its a plant underwater, it won''t need intelligence to think or agility to move.


    (Polos): "ok,lets get this thing so we can leave with its loot, becareful of the leaves and those bubbles if they hit you, you''ll get poisoned or worse, CHARGE!"


    From Polos''s speech both Henrietta and Lucas let out a battle-cry before charging at the algae with polos, quite stunned from there actions Ruby justfloats there watching them fight a entity that they could never defeat.


    she though this till Lucas did something that ruby never though of happening.


    He set the moss on fire , whileunderwater!


    When the trio charged the algae Ruby though that with his stats Lucas would be the first to die by he reversed it instantly by using the blue burning bush in his off hand on a pillar of the algae, it was extremely effective with the pillar being engulfed in mere seconds turning the once green archway into burning ring, also it seems the bubbles hovering around the main pillar thought the archways seemed to become smaller but a constant ring of bubbles as still maintained.


    Once ruby looks at the status screen again, it shows that the original health of 2000 has bean decreased to 1700, so burning the pillar did 300 damage.


    After the pillar was fully burned to the MP(main pillar) a loud '' SSSSSKKKKKKKKRRRRRRRR'' is heard coming from the MP, with the scream the leafs start to grow larger and larger till there human size with them flailing about trying to find some prey.


    After a while of the trio traveling to the second pillar, setting it on fire like the first and moving ontothe 3rd pillar a problem arises from one of the leafs grazing Henrietta on the ankle, the leaf cuts thought her armor like butterand she stops moving with her arms dropdown to her sides making her sword and shield fall onto the moss floor before she herself collapse to her knees, whileimmobile on the floor Henrietta starts rambling on about something involving ''pink pixies for her porridge''


    (Ruby-Polos-Lucas) -yuphallucinations-


    With there ally incapacitated behind them and only 2 of the 5 pillars gone,the trio were in a bad situation but after they realised Henrietta was just in a sense of hallucination the 2 forged on to defeat the boss.


    But for Ruby this was a chance, slowly Ruby swam to Henrietta to not surprise her, then as Ruby was face to fish-face withHenrietta Ruby said a simple sentence in human language.


    (Ruby): "ple-ease remo-e hal-met."


    In her delusion Henrietta nodded before placing her hands on the turquoise helmet and taking it off.

    As the corpse of Henrietta fell to the moss floor with little sound her former ally''s were non the wiser as they were reaching the 3rd pillar and burned that one too. as the blue flames engulf the pillar the leafs around the 3rd pillar start to shift as to coil them self''s around the pillar, by doing this Lucas and Polos are encircled by them.


    As they were being encircled Lucas was panicking while polos was expressionless as he charged one of the leafs into a battle roll with his two-handed sword swinging from Polos back into the leafs stalk, the leaf is severed with it creating a hole in the encirclement in which the next moment both Lucas and polos escape though just before the noose was tightened.


    The goblin-fish was in awe at the spectacle in-front of her to the point she was gobsmacked.


    this scene of encirclement then polos breaking though kept happening till both he and Lucas got to the 4th pillar but at the most unfortunate time Lucas''s mana went to 0 at this time more than a third of the leafs were gone and the 4th pillar was being set alight, the aquamarine helmet stops glowing and water starts to invade the helmet but as the water was about to cover his nose the helmet glows again with it venting the water back out of the helmet.


    From seeing this Ruby was confused, till she remembered when while she was trailing them and viewing their stats Lucas''s mana went to 20 then went back up to 25 after a few seconds''s then it hit her.

    As Lucas breathed in after nearly drowning like Henrietta did he said with a thin weak voice while he lights the 4th pillar on fire.

    From this statement polos only nods and continues to cut the leafs down, a moment later the earth trembles as all the bubbles separating the duo and the 5th pillar all pop signaling the second phase so to speak, the 4 burned pillars start to rumble as they are extracted from the ground into 4 very large clubs that become mossy as a green/purple goo over the pillar clubs, for the protection 5th pillar.


    In there counter to the transformation polos charges the last pillar since he knows there tank is incapacitated while Lucas should quickly burn the pillar so he plans to take the hit, to enforce this Lucas does the same but just behind polos footsteps.


    as one of the pillar''s clubs crashes from the side into them polos tries to take the hit in place of Lucas with that being able but in the process he gets sent flying with a clump of the moss falling off and landing onto polos neck, as he crashed into the moss floor a large ''thump'' sound is heard, after his landing polos never gets up but Ruby knows better as she swims slowly to the man.


    polos lays in the same position as he was hit in on the floor and with this only one word comes to mind -paralyzed-, as Ruby swims forward into polos view he shows a face of shock as he is completely helpless to the crimson eyed goblin fish staring at him, within seconds Ruby had swam to polos neck before ripping his neck out for all the nice fresh water to kill him thought the same method of Henrietta.


    Before polos could even scream for help his lungs were full of water and he died without being able to lift a finger to defend himself and with his ''noble'' sacrifice 5 screens appear in-front of ruby.

    as this was as best a time as any she bought things she though would be useful like the ''Evolving existence'' since the triple the exp gain plus makingher eyes moarpowerful would be super good, also on her list of things she bought was ''natural poison'',''enhancedsenses'', ''clear mind'' for just in case and ''basic magic in water and wind''. and since ruby had 4 skill points left she just put them into ''bodystrengthening''. from this ruby looks at her stats again to see if anything had changed and to her surprise both her strength and endurance had increased by 2 points each. after seing this ruby goes back to the skill list and buys all the languages using stat points because why not.


    once for the stats ruby doesn''t take anything into account and presses the green plus,but she tries to have a an equal value for each one used till she sees if she does it right every stat could be a increment of 5 and in Ruby''s past life she suffered fromOCD (obsessive-compulsive-disorder)so shenaturaldid this to her stats with herintelligenceand agility to 20 while her endurance andstrengthto 15, as she pressed the last stat point down a message appears.

 Chapter 8: A fishs best friend

    as the fact that she is now a monster fills her with many emotions, one dread, two excitement, three murkiness with a hint of shock creates a meal that describes her current mental state. For the fact she is a monsters monster, the cream of the crop , the top notch on the pole.


    she just shrugs this off and swims away from the pillars that was once poll and she exits the safe zone that was the boss room.

    from seeing this ruby is shocked at the fact that his monster is her first real ally, after thinkingthis ruby watches the AC(Aqua constrictor) as it fights the continues.


    positions its easy to see that the goblin-fish swarm has the advantage but when compared to the AC''s there like toothpicks, when she contemplates this she realizes the point of a swarm. the swarm is needed since goblin fish alone are too weak, safety in numbers as they say.


    as it seems i arrived in the middle of the battle since on the sand there were dozens ofgoblin-fish corpses with 2 holes in there bodies, while the AC has only took some minor cuts and grazes to its hide.


    From constant suicidetactics the goblin-fish constantly attacking the AC it slowly wears it down but in the process the AC can quickly bite into an estimate of 1/6th of the remaining swarm. with the amount of fish going against the AC, this battle will indefinitely go to the goblin-fish.


    As ruby though this the AC did something she didn''t suspect, it coiled into the shape of a flatted spring before exploding in movement into the center of the swarm and coming out with a gold-eyed goblin fish in its mouth, the remains of what the swarm was dissipate rapidly into the surrounding area leaving the Aqua-constrictor and me alone in the immediate area.


    as the Aqua constrictor was eating the corpse of the gold eye ruby approaches slowly and contemplates what just happened.


    (Ruby): -The swarm dissipated when that one goblin-fish died so it must be a queen of sorts creating and managing the swarm, so when it died the swarm dissipated, its the queen-


    The closer ruby got to the monster the more she contemplated how this creature was to be her first ally till she remember the skill ''red-eyeenslavement'', with this it should bepossible. as Ruby was around 1 meter from the Aquaconstrictor, it turns its body around toface Ruby with its fangs bared to attack. before the monster attacked ruby spoke in Aquatic language.


    (Ruby):"hello i''m ruby, Imean no harm."


    even though Ruby said this the AC still bared its fangs towards her, rubyfigurativelysighedbeforeactivating''red-eyeenslavement'' on the Aquaticconstrictor, as she did this the eyes of the serpent turned from a greycolorto an Ambercolorbefore itbowed towards ruby.

    it gains more mass till it becomes the size of a basket ball, Ruby contemplates that this might be a bit overkill but she still fires the dark ball towards the worm.


    The Dark ball glides though the water effortlessly before coming in contact with the worm, the moment the ball touched the worms hide it basically ripped it to shreds before continuing on to eradicate its whole body in one instance before continuing on its way till it was out of ruby''s eye sight. while Ruby was ultimately shocked at what happened,a pair ofscreams was heard of in the direction of the dark balls path before 2 messages appeared.

    from hearing this Ruby is just shocked. she slowly swims after the dark ball with Riley going pass the remains of the worm before swimming on, after a few moments of swimming Ruby and Riley find the remains of the duo adventurers, whats left of the 2 adventures that is intact are there heads and legs while there arms and torsos have been obliterated as it seems the ball went though both at the same time with theretorso''s utterly destroyedto the point that on one corpse theright arm and the right side of it''storso is gone while the opposite is inflicted to the other corpse.


    without a second though ruby swims toward there corpses and slowly eating before realizing Riley wasn''t eating so she stopped and turned to face the aqua constrictor before speaking.


    (Ruby): "come eat"


    with this command Riley surges forth and starts to the corpses with her, till nothing but bone is left, a sudden feeling overwhelms ruby as she sees the bones of the corpses.


    she feels the need to salvage the bones . . .

 chapter 10: Bone-trail

    As Ruby was looking at the bone remains of the duo a sudden urge fills her body telling her to salvage the bones.


    she contemplates is this what they call instinct or just a need to become stronger.


    our heroine slowly swam back to the corpses till her face/skull was a hands width from the bones, in mere seconds Ruby bites into the spine of one of the skeletons severing the head from the rest of body, without her even realizing like in a maddened rage she moves onto severing the arms and the pelvis from the rib-cage all before she swims into the center of the rib-cage and starts to emit a dark aura that latches onto the bones, the sounds of cracking bones can be heard as they start to fall in on them self''s encasing ruby in there creamy embrace.


    after a few seconds of silence the aura escapes at multiple places along the cage creating a black flash, as the darkness clears the new form of ruby is shown. Her bodies head point looks somewhat the same till you look towards where the spine for the skull should be where it seems a black elongated mass is copying the spine till you reach a rib-cage of black bones enclosing  around the black mass that had widened till the bones are barely off the skin, at the end point of the rib-cage a large dark tail spews to the length of half a meter before ending with a mace like ending.


    as the dark flash had ended Ruby regained contentiousness hovering in the water with her new body. she turns a flails trying to see what happened to her till she sees a part of plate mail from the dead duo that was deposited during the dark ball attack. once she saw herself in the reflection of the metal  her first thought was.


    (Ruby): -oh no,  I got fat-


    from this shocking revelation Ruby was heartbroken, till 2 messages appeared in-front of her.

    from learning this ruby gives a hint of distrust in the litch monster before looking at the skeleton of the second adventure before ripping that one apart leaving the arms, Ruby stares at the arm intensely as a tendril of darkness reaches to the arm and connects it to Ruby''s body but instead of the whole arm being connecting like she though it became separated at the elbow with the smaller bone changing shape to become the same as the larger bone with all the bones for the hands disappearing in the process, the two bones connect to Ruby on both side making it so she now looks like a head and torso with 2 stubby arms.

    as the transformation is over the duo of monsters start to follow the foot steps that were left in the sand from them coming this way. . .

 chapter 11: Entourage

    the footprints in the sand continue on for what seemed like hours all the while Ruby and Riley were traversing the trail.


    after a while of walking the duo come across something they haven''t seen before, a wall and not just any wall that they could just swim around but a wall that seemed to stretch on forever in both direction with it being taller that the duo can see.


    as the duo stare at the wall blankly a splash can be heard before the displacement of water can be felt above, as the duo look upwards they see a humanoid descending slowly from what seemed to be a dark. from seeing the descending figure a sense of awe is shown on their fishy faces before realizing 4 other humanoids were descending as well, from seeing the drop our fishy duo swim as fast as they can to gain distance from where the 5 were gonna land.


    After getting to 6 meters away from where they were Ruby observes the 5 descending,


    from here that happened to be  the limit of Ruby''s eyesight in the dark dungeon on closer look she sees that 2 of the 5 are in full plate mail armor holding a shield and short-sword in their hands with the iconic aquamarine helmets covering there faces so she can see them, another of the group looks to something of a nun from the cloths she was wearing but instead of a Aquamarine helmet that has been seen so far but instead you see a blue tinted tiara on her head revealing her to a brunet with a face that expressed sorrow with her holding A blue flame branch.


    the next 2 looked nothing like the other 3 with one being a male wearing the aquamarine helmet but beneath it held blinding white plate mail armor with a two handed sword that was bigger than the girl next to him, she was wearing a tiara like the nun with a elegant dress that had plates of armor covering her chest and arms while leaving the dress free flowing.


    once Ruby concentrates on the 5 more 5 separate status screens start appearing for each.

    as the warm rays shone through my bedroom curtains a slight breeze followed after them to wake me up from my slumber, i wake up to my trusty lifelong friend and bodyguard Quasim  siting in a chair away from my bed.


    (alice): "finally today is the day"


    a few days ago it was my 14th birthday and my only real wish was to go into a real dungeon so when my parents agreed only if Quasim went too,


    the preparation for this trip was me training really, really hard in my sword lessons and magic control since the only dungeon near the capital was a Dungeon that was submerged in water so aqua-breathing helmets are required unless you were a fishy person. the helmets used to breath under water used a persona mana to work so mana control lessons, I have always been super duper good at magic so in the group my farther sent with me is was the mage.


    The party my father sent with me were all people from the holy saint church, these people were sent as a ''favor'' from my father to the church since the church keeps protesting against my new mother the queen calling her a demon, my new mother is sweet to me and father but she acts a little distant at times when she is in large parties like at my 14th birthday party.


    at this time im currently in the suite of the most expensive inn, in the dungeon town called lacuna which is right next to the dungeon.


    after getting ready and meeting up with the 3 priests-in-the-mud, out of the three that came with us to the dungeon the one that was the least annoying was Michael since he was the youngest of the 3 but he was still stagnant about my comedic antics. like when I stole Alexia''s holy tome and replaced it with a book that I bought that was about big spiders, so when she went to read from it to recite a heal spell for Ryan when he got a cut wound she screamed so loud I swear all the monsters in a mile radius ran away in horror.


    as the 5 five of use go to the dungeon a eerie archway before a a dark hole that travels into the earth, with a toll gate inlay-ed in the archway a line of people are already waiting for admittance into the dungeon though a mana check.


    For this dungeon a check of your mana level is required with the minimal allowance for entry to be over 100 mana since the aqua-marine helmets needs mana to operate, so with less than 100 mana can lead to the whole party being hindered, but if you have less than 100 you can bribe the toll gate so you can pass.


    Lucky for us all 5 of us are over the minimum.


    for the headgear that was required we got 3 helmets and 2 tiaras, me and Alexia are both fully opposed to those helmets that smell like a rotten fish died in then stayed there for years on end.


    as we pass the toll into the cave our immediate area darkens as we go down a rocky slope to a water floor, the futher and further we go down the more i get excited at the fact were entering a dungeon, as my head is swallowed up by the water i look down to see a cliff that seems to go into the abyss, a funny thing happened since Quasim is very tall for his age by the time the water covered his head he was already off the cliff floating down into the dungeon and in the next moment i followed with the 3 priests-in-the-mud behind us.

    the royal party start to wade though the waters as it seems to Ruby that this entire expedition the 5 are on are just for the benefit for the princess, The world above must be a peaceful place if the princess of a country goes into a dungeon even if she is protected by 4 bodyguards but Ruby still follows them with her companion following behind her.


    the direction the 5 go off in seems that they know where polls boss room it and they are going directly to it so since they look like very very big exp bags  she thinks to adopt a tactic she saw in some old war movies which she watched when she was a human, she thinks of using ''hit and run'' tactics.


    the tactic entails hitting when they are already occupied with another monster with attacking the weakest of the group or their weakest point of the formation with instantly retreating before they can attack back.


    But on the first attack that the 5 would hit by normal dungon monsters, in this case a goblin-fish swarm, she doesn''t attack but instead does something that she has wondered ever since she saw it next to her title. She focuses on the purple equal sign in her status screen.


    Once she does this a list all of her titles apper in front of her.

    from the sight of this ruby is stunned at all the titles she has gained over the short time of her life,and thinks of the best way to set the whole title system up, for her first title she uses her sin title with it being the main useful one with it allowing the apostle title to be used as well which gives off the allowance to use another title with double power so for this ruby uses the deacon title to allow for 6 more titles so for this she uses the 5 non demonic titles she has to fill them up with using the pagan mage title to fill in the last remaining spot. making it in total so the titles gives ruby, 5 endurance, 9 in strength, 11 intelligence, 7 agility, with -5 fame and the access to the skill unrelenting consumption.


    To ruby this was like a extra level up with having to orginaise everything madly but before she could think more on the matter the 5 she was following finished their battle, So the duo follow them silently before they were left behind.


    After a while the 5 encounter a new enemy but to ruby this monster species is one of 5he first she saw, the spike eel with the encounter having 3 separate spike eels.


    As the 5 are occupied with the eels ruby whispers to Riley using aquatic language


    "I''m gonna do something to you all you have to is squeeze"


    From hearing this Riley just nods.


    In the next moment ruby picks Riley up from the ground using one of her stubs and flings Riley so Riley is sent flying towards the 5, out of sheer luck Riley lands on Alicia''s shoulder making it so Riley can rapidly rap around her neck while she just notices that that something was on her neck, this make her scream at the top of her lungs before it''s cut off by riley''s constricting.


    From hearing the scream the whole part has their attention redirected towards  Riley where Ruby takes the chance to fire off a dark ball which has been embuned with darkness blade into the centre of the ground where the party is,


    This proves to be effective with the dark ball hitting where it was targeted and exploding on impact so a strong shock wave is sent towards them all knocking all but quasim to the floor.


    As they are down the spike eels start to attack but they are stopped by quasim before they could deal any real damage but in this whole tile Riley has been strangling alicia. But before Riley delivers the last blow he''s called back by ruby. This process. Leads to alica being able to survive.


    The reason ruby pulled Riley back was because a message appeared in front of her.

    As the feeling of joy that ruby has wears off  another sense manifest from the choice that she would have to ta with the only reason she has to make this choice is because she enslaved Riley in the first place but she doesn''t regret it since the dungeon is a lonely place for a monster on her own.

    this dungeon stuff is extremely fun so far but the walk to the dungeon boss is somewhat boring unless we are fighting something but right now the only thing we''ve fought was a swarm of goblin fish that was killed easily from our efforts and after that the 3 spike eels that came at us we just child''s play, but something strange happened during that battle an aqua constrictor came out of nowhere and strangled Alexia''s neck but before she died the constrictor let her go before going back into the darkness.


    after around 3 minuets of checking our equipment we were ready to set off again towards the boss room till a bright light appeared in the darkness surrounding us which indicated a monster just evolved near us, so as i was curious i asked for the group to go towards the light which we did till the light faded to reveal some glowing patterns in the shadows before the outline of the monster could be seen as a very large snake. before everyone was a monster that no one has seen before, till Quasim says,


    (Quasim): "those markings, it seams this monster is a celestial type, we should capture it, celestial types are stronger than normal monsters with them being of a holy origination with it being a high status symbol that can sway nations to have one. if i remember there is only 9 . erm . 10 of them known to exist with 6 of them being tamed so we should capture it before another person does"


    from hearing this our whole group runs to the markings but as we get closer we see another monster with the serpent.


    the other monster looks  jet black in the water with it being shaped like body of a skeleton but without legs or hands, without a second of doubt an alarm screams in my mind saying ''SKEEL'' from seeing this the whole party starts to feel dread since a skeel was a monster known to be extremely hard to fight due to the quality of the magic it uses can obliterate a party in one attack and in the darkness its basically invisible due to its pitch black scales making it a monster among monsters but why was it with a celestial type monster when a skeel is known to be a demonic monster but the answer comes quick as the skeel swims to one of the mouths of celestial monster and speaks in aquatic language to it, but since im the princess iv''e been taught foreign languages since a young age but what it said sent another sense of dread though my body.


    (skeel/Ruby): "we shall kill them all, leaving the young girl last"


    without a second though I repeat what was said by the skeel which sends a disaster alarm though us all from the fact that sentence one thing is easily shown bout that monster. its sentient, that should only happen when a monster is a grade A class monster but a skeel with sentience means it could be a national threat if it became a Litch or an abyss spawn or even worse an deep dragon so this monster has to be killed right now.


    us 5 get into out combat positions getting ready to fight the monsters.


    but as there first attack they do the most confusing thing possible . . .

 chapter 15: an assault on all angles

    (Ruby pov)


    the waters surrounding the 5 went dark around like squid ink as I used darkness blade on the water which should confuse them with their sight cut off but now the only lightsource are the bright lights emanating from Riley, so I whispered into Riley''s ear since it seemed the princess could understand aquatic language.


    (Ruby): "since they can see you, you should start to swim around them to draw their attention i''ll do the rest."


    from hearing this one of Riley''s heads nods while the other replies with.


    (Riley): "Yesss misstresss"


    from hearing Riley''s voice for the first time ruby is a bit stunned so she fails to reply in time before Riley slithers off along the sand bed towards the murky waters before starting to circle it with Riley''s patterns starting to glow even brighter before realizing Riley must be using its using light blade to increase the brightness emitted.


    This should be really effective for what I have in plan


    The plan fully intails me attacking from any location while Riley distracts them since Riley is the only thing they see.


    This proved to be true as one of the inquisition guys charges the dark water wall with his sword raised , but as he hits the  dark water the darkness catches the blade and starts to coil towards his hands.


    The darkness starts to penetrate the man''s skin while the man himself just notices the sword being stuck, after a moment he starts to scream as he is slowly sucked into the darkness.


    Seeing this the other 4 rush to his aid while grabbing onto the man himself. The grapple continues till the one know as Quasim cuts off the male''s lower arm severing the pulling force upon the man. Making 4 of them fall backwards into the center of the darkness again.


    the next thing the group did was that the woman was casting a light spell that once it was cast it penetrated the dark water, after seeing this she starts to carve into the dark water till a portion of it dissipates but behind the newly made door way was Ruby the skeel with a enhanced dark ball being cast.


    from seeing this the 5 all move to dodge they would of dodged it but Ruby played a cruel trick, once the dark ball was cast ruby casted darkness blade on the locations of the dark water where the dark would land making it so the ball would rebound around the water, this was extremely effective with the damage being the destruction of Micheal''s left arm and Quasim,s weapon from him destroying the ball.

    after the attack finished ruby sealed the dark water back up just before Alexia takes out a book that causes slight pain to be sent though the mind of ruby, Ruby herself doesn''t know whats wrong with her till a familiar voice enters her head.


    (Alphard):"that pain your feeling is because of that holy tome, its of Lucia''s religion and since im the devil in her religion and since your one of my sin''s her holy books will have this effect till your stronger."


    (Ruby): - so i have to either destroy the book or kill the woman that''s easy-


    (Alphard): " oh yeah nearly forgot, since in this world Lucia is known as a goddess of knowledge her tomes can negate my titles secret ability so she should see your real title in around 10 seconds."


    from hearing this, she gains a sense of annoyance that once she becomes humanoid she would be easily hunted by everyone but she focuses on the combat at hand.


    as Ruby was refocusing Alexia finishes healing her brother and Ryan before she looked towards Ruby where she saw the most dread inducing thing today hovering over the skeel


    <sin of envy, the leviathan>


    from the sight of this she wet herself while Rambling on about there is no escape.


    shes quickly taken out of it by Ryan who slaped her across the face before saying.


    (Ryan): "What did you see Alexia , What did you see"


    while stuttering with a huge expression that showed fear she said

    as the knowledge of Ruby''s true existence finally sunk in, the members of the church all panicked to the point that Ryan who has already sustained injury actually went into the ball position and stated to rock backwards and forwards, but the only people unaffected and confused by the church members actions were the princess and the royal protector since they don''t understand whats the importance a sin title has , but by the churches reaction she can only think it must be extremely bad.


    this though track is proven true when ruby sticks her head out thought the dark water encirclement and casts a dark ball towards Alicia, with little time to react the party members are shocked when the dark ball passes by and clips the holy tome Alicia was carrying.


    from seeing this Quasim says;


    (Quasim): " its aiming for Alicia''s book, it must be the key to our survival"


    From hearing this the church members gain a moral boost but this is quickly removed when the dark ball did the same as the last one and started to bounce on the walls of the dark water this time unlike the last was more devastating with this one penetrating the armor of the not moving Ryan, this dark ball went though his breastplate and destroyed his heart.


    this causes the party not to go into a sense of dread but into a frenzy of vengeance for the fallen comrade and the prospect that they could escape the serpent duo.


    From this Ruby becomes slightly afraid of the zealousness that appeared so before the.4 could notice her head in the dark water she swims away.


    From the new spark the remaining members encircle Alicia  in a triangle formation while Alicia searches thought her holy tome for a resolution.


    This is quickly disturbed by a soft feminine voice ringing  thought the waters using human tongue.


    (Ruby):"Ha, Ha, Ha, you humans there is no escape give up now and die now"


    As she says this Ruby herself is cringing from saying this out-loud to the 5 present but her statement proves effective when Michael loses focus with his sword and shield wavering before saying.


    (Michael):" how does the monster know how to speak hu. ."

    before Michael can finish Ruby''s head can be seen in the water holding a dark ball out, this sends shock thought the group as its sent towards them all the while Ruby looks directly at Quasim with her Ruby eyes activating the skill ''Red eye weakening'' & ''Red eye pinpoint'' which activates all the skills the titles have weakening Quasim drastically.


    with Quasim weakened so much to the point he can''t move he can''t dodge the enhanced dark ball but that is what ruby thought before Micheal pushes Quasim out of the way, taking the dark ball himself in the process, the dark ball hits him on the back of the helmet disintegrating his head completely.


    from seeing her brother killed right in-front of her Alicia starts crying but there quickly hidden in the waters that surround them.

    all the while of this combat that Ruby fires and retreats, Riley did the only thing that it could do to be helpful to Ruby, it infiltrated the dark water pillar waiting for the perfect time to strike, many times would of been good but they would lead to problems but now that all the men are dead or weakened and the person that Ruby said not to kill was distracted with the male so to Riley this time to be the perfect time to strike so he did

    coming from the dungeon ceiling the Gemini serpent falls upon Alicia''s shoulders and before Alicia could register the serpent Riley had already coiled around her neck like last time but this time the Gemini serpent make a evil move with one of the mouths grasping the Aqua-breathing tiara that shes wearing and removing it, this causes the woman to start thrashing around before her face turns pale and she ultimately drowns.

    (Quasim):" no princess your mind is being manipulated, im your loyal friend, we even grew up with each other please don''t become corrupted by these monsters."


    with a face that shows she feels Quasim is the embodiment of evil Alice turns away and covers her ears with her hands to say she not listening to the man before her.


    (Ruby):" This is swell and its nice to know more about my powers but i have stuff to do so Alice i command you to take one of the church guy''s swords and kill Quasim."


    with no resistance or comment Alice walks to the remains of her ally before taking the short-sword that used to belong to Ryan and walking back to the still restrained Quasim with him screaming.


    (Quasim):" please Alice, please don''t do it, i don''t want you to kill me, i don''t want my own sister to kill me"


    from hearing this Ruby''s face goes into a sense of shock but she still watches as Alice goes to Quasim, raisingthe blade high overher own brother and swinging down, embedding the blade into the skull of Quasim with his last word being ~noooo-oo-o~, the blade stops at the eye level making Riley isn''t hit.


    this whole situation is over-viewed by Ruby thinking

    upon thinking this the sound of laughter could be heard from Alphard laughing in Ruby''s mind.

    she said this before a messaged appeared to her.

    As ruby slithers away from the slave duo she contemplates the choices infront of her.


    The sharks and the dolwhatsis how ever its pronounced look cool on paper but they seem be the end of the evoutionary rope so to speak.


    This made ruby contemplate being a baby kraken, lucky the only thing Ruby can find wrong with it is that if she becomes the baby kraken she will become too big for the dungeon since from the sand bed to the floor it''s all but 3 meters.


    Ruby is interrupted by the duo coming up to her not with the and weapons  and other stuff but a leather bag that emits a slight magic aura around it.


    She wonders if this is one of those magic bags she''s heard of in some RPG games she played when she was human, which could hold nearly anything with it also reducing the weight of the object inside.


    her train of thought is derailed when Alice  Runs at her before tackling Ruby into a hug where she starts Rubbing her face against Ruby''s skull.


    This stuns the Skeel and Gemini serpent but the first of the two to react is Ruby by her saying.

    from hearing Riley''s new voice and not the usual gargling''s of Riley saying ''yes mistress'', Ruby is happy over the improvements Riley has gained while contemplated of the situation of Alice constantly hugging her.

    Ruby says this clearly to Alice since she is face to face with Alice pushes her head way from Ruby and looking directly into her eyes while holding onto Ruby''s skull and replies with.

    The world where magic runs free and violence is always the answer is called Ralf, the world consists of one great continent and 3 smaller islands, each holding their own island kingdom. The main continent of Ralf is called Sepha on its land are the 3 human nations of Thurid, Castance and Pina. Other nations that reside on Sepha are the Great forest, which is home to the Elves and lies south of the human countrys. The Crags, a nation consisting of mountains that house the Dwarfs and Dragonkin races. The last nation of Sepha is the realm of demons named Yami. The last land, known as the Wildlands, is ruled by a series of beastman tribes fighting for dominance, the Wildlands also connect Yami from the north-east, the Crags from the north and the Human and Elf nations from the south, making it the most dangerous place in Ralf. The last nation doesn''t have its own land but this nation is the merfolk''s, who live underwater.


    The 3 island nations are known as Que, Hebi and Nisi, the islands of Nisi and Que are southwest of Sepha but Hebi is different with it residing west of the Demon nation.


    On the 19th of the month of grail(July) a message rang out across the kingdoms of Ralf, telling of the completion of the 7 sin''s of Alphard. This sent the believers of Lucia into a state of panic across the entire known world.


    Even thought the world learned of their existence, the only real information that was known about them were their titles as the sin''s. The world changed though learning these names, rumors and speculations arose over the titles such as greed and lust, from zealot believers of Lucia mass investigations were sent to inquire about wealthy merchants and the concubines of the human lords, there were even some executions on the matter but there was no way of telling.


    The announcement of the 7 sin''s were quickly forgotten when the princess of Thurid''s birthday arrived on the next day causing the world to forget the unsettling news due to the Excitement about the princess''s 14th birthday.


    2 days after the birthday party that spread throughout the Human kingdoms, the realization of the sins slowly dawned over the world as an ancient scroll was found in the grand library that was managed by the Elves, documenting the last time the 7 sins were created.


    The ancient scroll depicted that 7 sins spawn from the living 7 known races of Ralf;


    the sin pride would always be the Dragonkin king since it''s known to be a honorary title to the royalty.


    The sin greed is part of the dwarf race but he is already held captive by the dwarf royalty in an immortal prison.


    The sin gluttony is said to go to a whole beastman tribe, which seems to impossible but its useful enough to know the race.


    The sin wrath is undoubtedly connected to the demon race but other information about this is has been destroyed by age.


    The sin lust is known to be connected to the humans because of their fertility.


    The sin of sloth is said to be a elf but nothing is said about this sin.


    And finally the sin of envy is said to be deified by the merfolk as their messenger of god since they openly worship Alphard as their god, there was also a warning about the sins.

    In the world of Ralf there are essentially 12 gods, if they were to be divided between the religions, which there are 4 of, the gods would be divided like this;


    2 to the religion of Lucia, with Lucia the goddess of light and Alphard the god of Darkness, the religion of Lucia has roots in all nations and the island nations except the demon nation.


    3 gods go to the religion of creators. This religion is rooted in the Crags and is practiced by both Drakekin and dwarfs, the gods for the creators religion are Frand of the Fire, Herad of the Stone and Kather of the Air. They''re known to be brothers with the age descending in the same order as said.


    5 gods the religion of the wild. This religion is practiced by all beastmen regardless of tribe, the gods are Dia goddess of the sun, Thyone goddess of the moon, Themisto of the hunt, Lapetus goddess of life and Mimas god of death.


    2 twin goddess are worshiped by the Elves and all those who practice magic, the older of the two is the god Metfara who governs over the magic of the races while the younger sister Elise governs over the magic that all other life possess.

    The Divine realm is a place where the gods live but all the gods have a separate area in the realm that is their home so its their own divine realm.


    After laughing for a while, a voice is heard by Alphard who recognizes it as Lucia.

    (Ruby):"Alice do you have any wood in that bag?"


    (Alice):"Yes Ruby, there are a few pieces of left over firewood that we had from the journey." As she says this she pulls a pair of them out of the bag on her waist.


    Once there out She casts the newly obtained magic on the sticks causing the blue flames to splutter to life, the duo of onlookers show slight shock but with being near Ruby its has given them a sort of immunity to her surprises but with the length of time Alice has been with her she is more or less shocked more than the Gemini serpent.


    (Ruby):" There now go and defeat poll." With all the effort needed to solve the problem ruby can''t be bothered anymore so she says it with little enthusiasm.


    The 2 go off to attack the 5 pillars of poll.

    The 2 of them approach the boss area with Alice holding the torches.


    (Alice):"Riley I have a plan, I rush the pillars with you on my shoulders carrying the torches, making it so I can focus on dodging the leaves and you can burn them quickly."


    From hearing the humans idea Riley nods before taking the torches in its mouth and coiling around Alice''s neck.


    Alice advances to the first moss covered pillar with ease since poll''s only active part is the bubble ring that goes though the arch''s formed from the pillars joining and the leaves that are easily avoidable for now.


    When they lighted the pillar it became consumed in the flames and A loud scream permeated the area causing both of them to flinch, as they flinched leafs grew around the whole boss area where poll''s algae was present with them flailing to find Alice and Riley.


    One of the leafs was lucky with it being under Alice and it caught her ankle.


    To Alice she didn''t notice it at all and she ran towards another pillar oblivious to the status effect, while Advancing on the pillars she was avoiding the leafs that attempted grab her.


    They repeated the process again and again of burning pillars then advancing to the next pillar till they advanced on the 4th where on their charge once Alice stepped on a moss clump a series of purple coloured veins covered leafs sprung from under the most like a Bear trap from all directions.


    The Leaf trap for that moment stunned Riley and Alice, but in Alice''s response to the trap she did what the trap didn''t cover.


    She jumped upwards.


    Alice in the spur of the moment jumps into the aquatic air and continues to float upwards, after 10 seconds of floating she hits the ceiling with Riley, were she pushes off again to land directly at the 4th pillar''s base.


    Once the 4th pillar was set ablaze Poll entered what Alice heard adventurers call ''poll club mode'' with it uprooting the pillars and swinging them randomly like clubs.


    (Alice):"E-erm Riley could you please do this your self now since I''m not confident I could dodge those clubs and the leafs at the same time."


    Riley instantly shows a duo faces of annoyance while still holding the torches, it disconnects from Alice''s shoulder and floats upwards while Alice herself retreat back to Ruby.


    When Riley sees that Alice is gone Riley drops one of the torches its holding and elongates itself to become streamline, once in this shape it slithers towards the final pillar easily dodging the clubs that were anticipating ground assailants.

    Well hello everyone, my body is back to normal(-ish) enough for me to write to a certain degree without feeling pain.


    Since its the end of the first book I had the good for me but evil for you idea of making a series of side-story''s depicting 6 other characters, due the name you can kinda guess who.

    But as they follow their trails home a flurry of wood fly''s at them from all directions, the multitude of the large animals are impaled dying near instantly to the projectiles penetrating either their heads or central chest.


    The trail turn from dusty paths to blood splattered streams in seconds.

    After a few moments of silence a Figure appears from the foliage, illuminated from the moonlight its shadowy form is shown to be over 2 meters tall with small part of muscle showing though an animal skin cloth that its wearing like a toga with its right shoulder shown to have a glowing orange mark.


    As the figure walks into the light its features become more detailed, its body is fully covered in white fur with black stripes overlaying the white on its head and exposed arms, Its face is somewhat stout like a dogs,


    Its mouth had a pair of buck-teeth when it entered the light but after a few seconds the teeth rot before falling out.


    More and more these figures come out of the foliage to surround the corpses, each of the figures looks unique in their own way but they all show to have the same distinct features of black fur with different coloured stripes among them the white fur is never repeated even as a stripe colour.


    The white figure raises its hand before pointing to the corpses and yelling. "Ithe"  (Eat)


    Once the word from the white is said the black furred descend in the the corpse feast.


    The bloody feast continues for ages till a grey striped black fur walks towards the white and knees down while holding the head of a large Elk like beast''s head that was meter large by its self.


    The white gives a toothy grin before straightening his hand and thrusting into the skull of the elk, penetrating it easily and getting to the brain.


    At the moment that the white''s 5 digit clawed hand touched the brain it quickly scoped it up and brought it to its own mouth.


    Once the brain tissue was eaten the white shakes slightly before a pair of growths appear on either side of its head, the growths expands out from its head like branches till a complex set of antlers.

    As a newer sound was heard a doorway appeared in the Dark cave illuminating it from the light beyond.


    In the door way was a trio of short men, each one of the men were rugged looking but they seemed more intellectual than they seemed, they were roughly 1 meter tall with each of them having a wider frame to compensate.


    The light grew brighter as one of the trio took out a torch from outside the doorway and shone it directly into the room.


    Once the light came in contact with the silhouette his features become realized.


    Like the trio of men the silhouette was short in height but with broad shoulders that seemed they could carry a whole family on top of them, his face looked young but his hair was grey and ragged from age.


    The young grey haired man was bound by chains from each of his limbs to the walls of the cave cell.

    The other 2 follow him but the third bastard trips over accidentally due to a loose shoelace in his shoes and falls to the ground.

    the 4th sin Pride: Arch-king of dragons.


    Among the distant snow capped mountain tops of the Crags stood a tower of black bricks that reached towards the heavens like a unholy spear, The tower itself looks withered from the extreme altitude but it still stands firm.


    Even though the tower was in a cold environment it exuded an intense heat that long since melted the snowcaps of the surrounding mountains, the black tower itself had openings and archways built into its shape via a random pattern each one of these were or many sizes ranging from ones small as dogs to gigantic ones that could fit in a house with it still having plenty of room to spare.


    Inside the black tower was extremely different from the outside, the inside was pitch black walls with a since source of light a stream of molten lava being poured from the top thought the midpoint of the tower.


    Overwhelmingly the tower''s floor were made of a series of platforms that only went to half of the circular towers area, even with it going to this the platform itself could hold at least 6 houses, thought this layout it was easy to see what was going on, on the floor below while making it easier for people above to do the same.


    Up upon the top floor of the tower sat in a throne of Giant monster like claws, a single man that was larger than life seemed to be asleep with his scaled eyelids closed shut.


    Around the asleep man''s room there was mounds of corpses of humans, beastmen & elf, each bloody and grotesque as the last with most of their long useless limbs bent at angles that they should not bend at.


    Eerie silence continued to permeate the tower till the door of the scaled man''s room was kicked in by a human clad in Shining armour while being accommodated by 5 others where 4 were pretty female and the last man was just at the back to carry their luggage.


    In their entrance the shining armoured man bellowed in human tongue "Sin of Pride I the chosen of lucia has come to eradicate your evil!"


    On the entrance of the party the scaled man stayed still like he was still asleep on his throne.


    Under the silence created from the stalemate the chosen grew cocky before charging ahead to the scaled man before raising a golden aura covered great sword to strike the sat figure.


    At the moment the blade would make contact with the man a flash of light fills the room, as the light fades the figure that was sat in his throne is gone with him being replaced for a Grand black dragon with the past cocky chosen contained in the dragon''s open jaws before he becomes charcoal as the dragon breathes black flames onto him directly.


    Engulfed in the flames the death tones of the chosen ring out loud causing the party to panic as quick as they entered.


    In the next few moments the party members are hunted down quickly to leaving only the luggage carrier left as he wet his pants from the direct sight of the sin.


    Ordinarily the dragon is said to kill all that attempts to challenge him but the dragon stops before the man left because he spotted a item on the man that made him mad at humans again.


    Under the head of the luggage carrier was a black leather collar that was enchanted to cause pain or death to a person who disobeys the enchanter,''a slave collar'' when the sin saw this he returned to his humanoid form and touched the collar before it crumbled to dust in front of them both.


    Although the man was scared out of his mind of the sin he could only grovel in gratitude for freeing him from the collar, the sin just waved his hand to indicate ''shoo'' before returning to his monster claw throne and returning to his slumber.

    In the end of it the 7 all had so many items that they could barely carry them all between then but as they were celebrating their haul a shadowed clad figure came from behind them and spoke.

    Darkness surrounds the envy team as they shoot through the tunnel, the tunnel edges could be barely seen they were rugged and they jutted out at random intervals nearly nicking each of them.


    The tunnels darkness turned grey as the exit was visible for the first time, for Ruby & Riley they were anxious at this development because this was their first moments outside of their past small pond in the exchange to a very large ocean.


    The thoughts of this scared them slightly.

    Weirdly the only ones shown with descriptions were the ones she could not even guessed what they would be like but it seems like alphard added the grades for the others so I guess it levels out.


    The sharks sound so cool but they seem to focus on either attack or defence with it weakening on all other aspects, this Dolgofasis sounds cool but I¡¯m scared of frogs so thats a no-go.


    So all that''s left would be the octopus route since it seems the most powerful overall.


    Once her choice was set in her mind she chose the krald that changed her body to become larger with her skele stubs forming 4 small tentacles other than that her face elongated forwards into a sharp beak like mouth which held at least 2 rows of sharp teeth.


    The other 2 saw this change which shocked Alice but it didn¡¯t faze Riley at all.


    (Alice): ¡°Why is sis changing?¡±


    (Riley): ¡°Well to you it''s like leveling up, to evolve the requirements are just harder and it changes your body as well.¡±

    This comment makes the face of the princess turn into a slight frown but it is ignored as Ruby choses the baby kraken.


    When this happens Ruby changes again into with the last remnants of being a fish change into that of an octopus, her skin turns to a dull pink like colour with a her skin being polka-dotted by light green spots along her new tentacles which numbered 8 now, each respectively was longer than a person''s arm.


    After wiggling about Ruby smiled with a now larger mouth as her whole body was at least double her past size.

    As Riley was saying this sentence a long pole of coral was sent flying landing directly between Riley and Alice drawing the attention of all 3 before they looked in the direction that it appeared from.


    Coming from there was a large group of humanoid looking fishes with scaled faces like that of a lizard chasing a series of multiple snakes and serpents, adorning the scalemen were the corpses of various snakes.


    Among the serpents there was little distinction to which head lead to which tail besides the slight colour differences seen in the upturned sand.

    The lizardmen were closing upon the trio wielding a series of shell tipped spears.


    Ruby Riley and Alice all directed their focus from the 2 serpents to the lizardmen that charged against them. The lizardman infront of them let out a war cry towards the trio.


    ¡°WWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAGGHHHH.¡±


    The sight of the shell tipped spears charging at you is a sight that most people would not want to see in the first place with the daunting fear sent by the charge, but for the trio it was just a momentary status of being stunned.


    Riley was the first out of that state, so it charged at the lizard men all by its self before glowing extremely bright outwards toward the lizards blinding them in their charge making the vanguard tip sending the whole group to the ocean floor.


    ¡°screech. . . uhh. . . . . . uugh. . . . . . . Plump. Plump. plump . . .¡±, As the lizard men turned into a pile that makes a unique series of high-pitched groaning sounds can be heard from it before they try and recover from the failed charge in the lightest form of the term.


    By the sight and sound of the lizard pile caused both Ruby and Alice to come out of their fearful stunned state to become shocked again, not by the fear of the situation but the sheer comedic value that came from the pile¡¯s existence.


    In their laughter, the pile recovered rapidly to get into a sloppy excuse of a charge line, before they charged again.


    the trio easily received the charge by Alice and riley retreating while Ruby with a quickly though up plan went on the offensive. Ruby¡¯s ducked down to the ground before stretching one of her tentacles to a solid looking ankle high piece of coral to the left side of the charge¡¯s path before retreating herself, once the lizardman charge went past the coral piece she made an immediate right causing the lizardmen to lose their footing. . . again.


    While doing, this Ruby was very shocked at the fact that the lizards never noticed her tentacle tripwire, since they were more focused on Alice and Riley for Alice is a human child while riley caused them to fall before so it was mainly their rage making them focus towards him.


    Silently chuckled at their simplicity but before the laughter came back the trio held their mouths and went fully to focus on the lizards.


    Both Ruby and Riley went forward towards them while Alice stayed back channelling mana for a spell.


    The battle in its shortest form was a slaughter on the side of the lizards, from the usage of ruby¡¯s dark ball spell the main bulk of the group was annihilated like bowling pins, this left it so Riley and Alice were to pick off the rest of the lizards with Riley flashing them before Alice casting wind spells that made a thin blade of air go towards the lizards, while they were doing this Ruby learned of the difficulties of changing from a fish to octopi.


    Moving her tentacles around Ruby slowly got the feeling of her new limbs, at least enough to move around.


    At the moment that Riley and Alice returned and Ruby learned to move around, even if awkwardly a pair of suspicious serpents were sneaking up behind them.


    They did a terrible job.


    The fishy duo were a few feet before ruby and they seemed to approach to attack but in different ways.


    This was noticed earlier by Ruby but she really knew what they wanted.


    The two serpents when close enough to ruby both did something different from the other. The Ripples snake went for a small bow while the Diamond-scale went to whip her head off!


    The snake¡¯s attack caught both Alice & Riley off guard, but it seemed to ruby that it was obvious from the description she read that I would cause some trouble


    She countered with sliding out of the diamond-scale¡¯s path of attack.


    She failed at this due to her new body that she had not fully became accustomed to yet so this ended with the snake-tail whipping Ruby on the back of her head.


    Searing pain was sent shooting though ruby as the whip landed, the pain caused Ruby to have a lapse in consciousness where she drifted slowly to the floor.

    A few moments later Ruby woke up on the ground but to a sight in the corner of her eye that she didn¡¯t think would happen.

    Turning her body fully towards the serpent pair her eyes glowed brightly as she used her skill ¡°red-eye enslavement¡± on the ripple snake, when the serpent realised it was about to be controlled it tried to turn its head quickly but Ruby¡¯s skill hit before it could protect its self.

    So the addition of the ripple snake was perfect, but a random thought passed through her mind.

    Seeing the large amount of killing potential that the snake had ruby is a bit taken back but this late in the game she¡¯s not surprised.


    The fact that he uses poison is new at least but to her the desired position of front line attacker isn¡¯t really covered with the snake.
