《Warhammer: Dropped Story》
[1] Prologue
Miyamoto Hisashi, a 18 year old male was lying in a pool of his own blood. As he laid upon the cold concrete floor, his blood seeped out of the knife wound that some low-life thief stabbed him with. People gathered around him, shouting for help, calling the ambulance and trying to keep him alive. They shouted at Hisashi, but all they saw was a shivering body that laid on the floor.
"Kid the ambulance is here! Don''t give up!" A grizzly foreign man said to him as he tried to stop the bleeding with his thick, muscular arms. Yet, the blood kept flowing out, seeping the concrete floor in crimson red blood.
The ambulance drove with the speed of lightning, easily breaking the speeding law. With a drift, the ambulance arrived the scene of the injury. Immediately, the lifesavers jumped out from the back of the ambulance.
"Move move move!" shouted a lifesaver as he created a path through the crowd. As they rushed through the crowd to Hisashi, what they saw was the foreign man sitting quietly next to the body of Hisashi, crying silently.
"Hey... He''s alive isn''t he?.." said the lifesavers, their voice trembling. The foreign man shaked his head slowly, indicating that Hisashi was not alive. The lifesaver''s face scrunched up into a frown,
"Damnit!" he shouted, "Why''d you have to die on us kiddo!"
Miyamoto Hisashi, a man loved by the town was killed by a runaway robber at the age of 18, never able to play the new warhammer game that he had just gotten. With regret about how he could not play the lizardmen race in the new game, he died with regret.
--------------------
As Hisashi''s mind was filled with the thoughts of not being able to play the new warhammer game. Suddenly, the cold body that bled out became warm, blood flowing through his veins, even the sharp pain in his side disappeared. The shock instantly took him out of his warhammer thoughts, bringing him back.
He opened his eyes, thinking that he had survived the attack, now his mind was filled with "oh man how should I play?", "I think my playthroughs should be Lizardmen, High Elves, Wood Elves, Green Skins...." and "Oh man it''s going to be so fun". But what he awoke to was a vast white room, not a hospital bed.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" his scream filled with dread resounded throughout the white room. He went to his knees, as he looked above him and cursed,
"Why!? This was the newest warhammer game! And this was the very first VR Game of the series! AAAAAAAAAAGHH"
The new warhammer game that he had bought was the first VR game of the series. VR games were the boom in his day and age, as one could fully immerse themselves into the realistic enviroments. As the VR games dominated the market, the famous franchise of warhammer had just released their game into the market, on the first day millions of copies were sold. The copies rapidly depleted from the stores, but luckily for Hisashi, he had gotten the last copy.
Once again, luck was at the side of the Lizardmen fanatic, as he screamed a glowing white screen appeared before Hisashi, upon the screen the words "Soul Character System". His face filled with shock, hesubconsciously asked,
"What is Soul Character System?"
And suprisingly, a monotone, robotic like voice replied to him,
"The Soul Character System picks random souls and brings them to the Soul Character space, which allows the soul to use the Soul Character System. The Soul Character System allows the soul to choose where they will be reborn and what they are reborn as. Souls are allowed to choose races that do not exist within the world they will be reborn in. Souls are allowed to only choose a race that has been created, existing or imagined in the previous world, Souls are also able to modify the race. Souls are also allowed to choose powers with unlimited imagination but being a God is not allowed, reasons are not explained."The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Once again, Hisashi''s face was painted with shock, his body still like a statue. He continued to be a statue for a good 4 minutes until the robotic voice said to him in a slightly annoyed manner,
"Please wake up"
Jolting awake, he asked the system with a shaky voice,
"C....Can I choose the Lizardmen race?...."
The robotic voice replied to him and said,
"Yes."
"HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!!!!!!" Hisashi''s shout filled with joy echoed around the vast white space, pumping his fists he then did a dance which could be considered.... questionable.
This time, the voice said really annoyingly,
"Hey can you hurry the hell up."
Hisashi froze, before slowly stopping his dance and rubbing the back of his head in a apolagizing manner,
"Yea ok I am sorry.."
"You better be" scoffed the robotic voice, it was quite annoyed with the Soul, wouldn''t it just hurry up?
"So for the world, can I choose a fantasy world that has mages and cultivators but no system?" asked Hisashi, thinking of the world of a Chinese novel he had read, if he could do something similar in it, Hisashi would be happy.
"Done." said the robotic voice
"Uhh.. For my race can I choose the Saurus race but change it a lot?..." asked Hisashi, hell bent of creating the supreme Lizardman.
"Eugh, fine just hurry the hell up" said the robotic voice, irritated how long he took, he just decided that he would agree with everything to make him hurry the hell up.
"So can I be like a Saurus, you know being born with knowledge on martial prowess?" asked Hisashi timidly
"Yes." answered the voice
"But with the strength of a Kroxigor but still the size of a Saurus?" asked Hisashi less timidly, but with a tinge of excitement.
"Yes" replied the voice lazily, Hisashi noticed this and his excitement soared, he asked once more,
"Can I have the magical capabilities of the Slann Mage Priests?"
"Yes...." said the voice
"Can... Can I have a human form that retains my strength and magical capabilities of my Saurus form which I can also transform my human limbs into my Saurus limbs with hard scales?"
"Oh my god yes... Just say everything at once and I''ll accept it..." groaned the voice, why did the soul have to ask so many things....
"Ok. I''ll just sum everything up, I will be reborn in a fantasy world with orcs, elves, monsters etc. With mages and cultivators but no system. Correct?" said Hisashi
"Yess...." said the voice
"I will be reborn as Saurus with knowledge on how to fight and the size of a Saurus, but I will have the strength of a Kroxigar and the magical capabilites of the Slann Mage Priests. I will also have the ability to turn human, while in human form I will retain my magical capabilites and strength but my defense is the same as a human, but I will also have the ability to transform any of my human limbs into my Saurus form which gives me scales and sharp claws. Right?"
"Mmmmhmm..." replied the voice
"Wow.. This voice really doesn''t care huh.." thought Hisashi, taking advantage of the lazy voice he asked the voice for his abilites, "Can I have the Army building system from the Novel I just read? But I am able to build a single temple city but nothing else. Is that fine?"
"JESUS CHRIST HURRY UP" Boomed the voice, causing Hisashi to cover his ears
"Ok ok! Last one, let me have the system in that world, it also allows me to look at my unit''s stats." said Hisashi, still recovering from the voice''s loud shout.
"You done?..." said
"Yup" replied Hisashi with a beaming smile
"Ok then se-" just as the voice was about to finish his sentence and say goodbye to the annoying soul, he noticed the ridiculous amount of power he had given the soul.
"oh fuck." muttered the voice, Hisashi just tilted his head in confusion as the voice just stopped his sentence mid way. The voice, quickly fixed the problem by placing him in a hellish jungle bordering "Sharp Wind Plains". Now, if his superiors found out why the soul was so strong, he will just say that he survived the jungle and became strong! Problem solved!
Fixing the problem he said, "Good b-" but his sentence was interuppted by the sudden shout of Hisashi,
"Oh! Can I have a curved sword to use in my human form? I don''t mind it being not the sharpest but just make it indestructable to withstand my strength."
"......" The voice just silently complentated on this matter, then it thought "Oh I''ll just give it a rusty, blunt ass sword that is indestructable! I am a genius!" praising himself for his magnigicent idea he readily agreed before sending Hisashi off.
--------------------
As Hiashi spawned within the lush and hell like jungle with a smile he said, "Now then! Lets get strong!" But his enthusiastic words were replied with a terrifying roar that resounded in the jungle, shaking the 20 meter tall trees.
"Uhh... Why am I in this hell like jungle?" said Hisashi, his voice shaking.
And as the stomping of the creature shook the jungle floor, the creature revealed itself.
"oh..oh no..." muttered Hisashi, tears starting to well up in his eyes "this is crazy.."
With a staggering size of 10 meters, the wolf like creature had pale white fur, blue eyes and two giant cystal horns near it''s ears, facing backwards. With saliva dripping out of it''s mouth it growledmenacingly.
"Shit."
[2] RUN!
As the 10 meter large wolf like beast stood in front of Hisashi, the very presence of the beast felt like instead of needles but knives piercing his body. It was absolutely painful and suffocating to just be in the very presence of the great beast. Normally, if a temple city was around here and the wolf creature was a threat the Saurus would pay no heed and attack the great beast. But, that was if they were a Saurus. Hisashi was a new race of lizardmen, with the mind of a human the words "Run. Get the hell outta here!" blared in his mind like an alarm. And he did just that.
Without wasting a millisecond he turned around he legged it as fast as his blue reptilian legs could take him. Bulging and tensing his muscles, his leg smashed into the ground propelling him forward. In the eyes of a human, Hisashi would have disappeared in a blur, but to the wolf Hisashi moved slow.
While the wolf''s presence made the wolf look more savage than it should have, the wolf was actually just curious of the strange scaly creature. It was even more curious when it found out how slow it was, even the slowest of creatures could outmaneuver the small scaly creature. To satisfy it curiosity, it chased the weird creature.
Hisashi kept running as fast as he could, but no matter how fast he ran he could still feel the creature''s painful presence stabbing into him. His mind was in panic, just as he made the apex Lizardman was he going to be killed? Well it seemed that way to Hisashi, he kept smashing the jungle floor with his Kroxigar strength, trying to run from the wolf beast.
The wolf kept chasing Hisashi, it was currently complaining in it''s mind how sloppy Hisashi''s movement technique was, it was using too much strength! One must use the necessary amount of force, but Hisashi was just smashing his feet on the floor like a barbarian. The wolf on the other hand was a master on movement techniques, even with a weight far surpassing Hisashi''s it moved around the forest like a feather in the wind, no sound nor smashing the jungle floor.
But this was the predicted outcome as Hisashi had just gotten his new body, with that in mind he had not gotten used to the body at all, therefore his lack of control. Also, his horrible movement technique was because he didn''t know one! In fact, Hisashi knew the most effective method of charging into an enemies line as the Saurus were the main fighting force of the lizardmen, therefore knowing how to maul your enemies more efficiently was a must need. On the other hand, retreat was never an option for the Saurus except on rare occasions, so the most efficient was to run away wasn''t... mandatory.Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions.
As Hisashi kept running, his horrible running kept sapping away the massive pool of stamina he had, draining him of energy. Yet, the adrenaline kept pumping through his veins as the danger right behind him was currently booping it''s wet nose onto his cold scaly back.
Now the wolf booped his nose from time to time onto Hisashi''s back, but Hisashi it seemed like the horrible wolf was just playing with his meal before gobbling him up for snack. He cocked his head around, looking towards his back. In his mind, what he saw was a savage wolf that drooled, poking it''s nose at Hisashi''s back to signify that he could eat Hisashi whenever it wanted, Hisashi turned his head around quickly and ran even faster.
But actually, the wolf just did it because the cool scales of Hisashi was quite comforting to the wolf. As it chased Hisashi, it started to notice the dwindling mana within the air, signifying the enclosure to the center. It didn''t like the center, the center had very little no mana in the eyes of the wolf. So it gave up on the weird scaly creature, but that not before it grabbed it by it''s head with it''s jaws and smashed Hisashi into the jungle floor.
Hisashi stood in the cold dirt, shivering as he looked at the wolf creature. Was it finally time? Closing his eyes he prepared to embrace the cold touch of death. But what he got was a boop on his head, he slowly opened his eyes only to see the wolf creature gone. He stood there dazed, his body still submerged in the dirt. He thought that the wolf lost interest so he quickly pushed himself out of the dirt.
He looked around himself, noticing the current area he was in had taller trees that went up to 100 meters, shrouding the jungle floor in darkness. He also noticed that when he had first arrived in the hellish jungle there was some kind of energy that floated in the air, and compared to where he was before the energy in his current had much less, if compared it seemed like the area before was a lush land filled with life while this place was a dry land that had an everlasting drought.
He wriggled his fingers, trying to calm himself. Maybe the wolf went away because there was less of the energy here? He nodded to himself, concluding that he was right. To be on the safe side, he went deeper into the jungle, choosing his path based on if the energy gone denser of less.
Soon, parting the jungle bushes aside he subconsciously breathed out a sigh at the sight. 8 meter tall walls made of ancient stone were covered in moss and vines, showing it''s ancient age. But poking above the walls was a staggering 15 meter tall temple, lined with torch stands that housed torches that had burned out long ago.
At he stood there mesmerized by the sight, a blue box belonging to the Warhammer System appeared before him.

As Hisashi looked at the screen, dazed at the situation,he quickly snapped out of his blank gaze before slamming his reptilian head. Hisashi had completely forgotten about the System that he had asked for! Before he chose the ''Yes'' option, he quickly looked at his own stats.

For some reason he felt that the status screen was... Empty? Yes! He was missing some stats such as Vitality, Magic, Wisdom and maybe Charisma? Hisashi doesn''t really know why or how Charisma would fit but perhaps it would allow him to lead an army better, higher loyalty etc. But that didn''t really matter right now, how does one get such stats?
As if to answer Hisashi''s thoughts, a blue screen appeared before him to explain.
| Additional stats must be bought with merit points |
"Ahhhh shit.." said Hisashi sighing, he knew what these ''merit points'' were. According to the book he had read to earn merit points one has to accomplish military deeds such as winning battles, conquering dungeons, gaining control over resources etc. Merit points had many uses such as buying resource nodes, building upgrades and also buildings in general. But now he has to save up merit points so he could become strong enough to lead his army but....
"Haa~..." with a sigh Hisashi shook his head, thinking ahead is good but right now he needs to only think about the present. But as he looked at the glimmering temple city in front of him, he decided that he would build his army within the city. So he opened the blue screen he had gotten first. The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.

With his sharp claw he pressed the Yes option, but all that did was pass through the blue screen. Slightly embarrassed, he said "Yes". On cue, the ancient city started to rumble and from the depths of the city a deep dark smoke seeped out. As the rumbling finished and the dark smoke covered the city another blue screen appeared.

"AGHHHHHHHH!!" With a scream he grabbed his smooth scaly head in panic, "SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!". Such an unfortunate situation, in Hisashi''s mind this was done by the Soul System he had met, they were sadists! As his mind went into full work, trying to find a solution, his eyes opened wide and there seemed to be a light bulb appear above his head as he said as if he had found some ground breaking,
"There is no solution!" trying to stay positive he tried to smile, but that smile crumbled in a second as he screamed once more "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!!"
"OH SHIT!" Hisashi screamed, while he was thinking time was ticking! As he flailed his arms in panic he asked the System,
"System what is a Dungeon Delve!?"
|

Dungeon Delve is one of the ways a challenger of a Dungeon can challenge a Dungeon. Options include...
- Slowed time (Time spent in the dungeon is 1/10 in real world eg. 1000 years in dungeon is 10 years)
- Unable to use Warhammer System feature "Army Building"
- x10 experience
- All monsters have x5 strength
|
"Oh... Shit.." said Hisashi seeing the restrictions and "advantages" gotten. This option was most likely for experienced challengers, not for greenhorns like him.
"No no no no no no!" Hiashi screamed, his eyes filled to the brim with tears.

Drop/Rewrite
Okay, so this is just me saying that I am rewriting this. The cause of this is that in my opinion, the story has quite a bit of flaws for the idea I have in the future. Not to mention, the world is also not fit for the character and should be molded around to fit the story so, the result is a rewrite.Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
Thanks.
