《Demonic Inscriptor》 Prologue In a dimensional pocket, where the darkness rules and time has slowed to a stop, a 21 year old man sits upon the floor with his legs crossed, his eyes are squeezed shut, his jaw clenched, teeth grinding and his face is scrunched up in frustration, but there is a firm determination that is seen with his frustration. His upper body is naked, displaying his lean muscles that give him an air of masculinity, while his lower body is covered in a pair of dark blue shorts. It¡¯s been a long time since he¡¯s been in this place. As an avid adrenaline junky, he has explored and experienced what others would take years to do. While exploring the Black Forest of Germany, he stumbled upon an underwater cave, located beneath a lake, and being curious as to what was inside, swam towards it, only to be sucked into the dimensional pocket. For the first few minutes of being trapped within the darkness, his mind raced to find a solution to escape from here, he first tried to feel for walls, but for a long time he couldn¡¯t find any. He tried to run into a wall, but after running what felt like a few hundred metres he didn¡¯t run into anything, even as he ran in different directions the same result came about. After hours of trying to escape, he finally decided to sit down and rest. But as he rested, a suction force began to pull upon what felt like his very being, his soul. But being the man he is, he didn¡¯t allow himself to be controlled so easily. As time passed and he grew tired, he started to have negative thoughts about giving in, but how could he allow such thoughts to distract himself. Instead of giving in like any normal person would, he fought on and never gave up, but even with his will of steel, he was only human. So when the time came for his exhausted self to give in, he snapped. He said to himself ¡°Fuck! If I go down like this, how the FUCK can I face those cunts up there! That¡¯s right you dog cunt gods! Im talking about you! All of you! I WILL NOT DIE SO EASILY!!¡± And as he finished his sentence, he tensed his whole being and let out all the frustration within with a loud roar which echoed out from him, giving anyone who heard it, an indescribable sense of fear. This story has been unlawfully obtained without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon. While he roared to the heavens, his soul began to revolve itself, turning into a suction force of its own. At first it was a slow revolution, but as he became more concentrated, and determined, the revolutions became more and more quicker, giving it a tornado like suction. He may not have felt it, but weeks had gone by while he fought the intangible being and became more and more exhausted, but with that toll of exhaustion, his mentality was becoming more and more primitive and beast like, roaring every now and then to keep himself at bay, never giving in to the suction, instead obsessing more and more to devour it instead. What the young man didn¡¯t know was, this place sealed an entity never seen or heard of before on Earth, an immortal. One whose mind had been corrupted by the temptations of power and revenge. It¡¯s been countless years since its soul had been sealed within, it had calmly and patiently awaited the day where it had devoured and refined enough souls to break apart the seal holding it. But never did it imagine it would encounter someone whose will and determination, made his soul evolve into the immortals nightmare. And now it was only a matter of time before one or the other was devoured. It¡¯s been about 2 months since this battle of will began and neither the immortal nor the human could hold out much longer, but the immortal had the upper hand, its experience as a soul and as it has devoured many other souls beforehand, its souls power was stronger and more resilient. But it had underestimated how much potential this young man had, during the 2 months of struggle, his beastly nature had slowly taken control of him, wanting more than ever to devour what was trying to devour him, and as it took over, his soul had become monstrous, revolving continuously with a never ending vigour. His soul grew stronger and stronger, revolving and expanding more and more, until his desires took over completely, turning him more vicious than ever before. His soul roared with rage and a lust for blood before he took action and rushed forward with the intent to consume. As the immortal saw what was happening, it was shocked and grew fearful. It could feel his desire to devour it, it could feel the oppressive aura only the most vicious of beasts would posses. But even as it was fearful it didn¡¯t run, nor try to hide. Instead, it induced a roar of its own, trying to encourage itself. As they rushed towards each other, the immortal knew its time had come to an end, it could feel its very essence be devoured into the humans abysmal soul as they drew closer and closer to each other. It was reluctant to let itself be devoured, so it screamed in anger and sorrow as it was slowly consumed. The humans soul in its entirety crashed into the immortal, slowly oppressing and consuming it. And as the soul of the immortal nourished his own, the beastly nature subsided slowly, until the immortal was devoured completely and he lost consciousness. Chapter 1 As he woke up, his mind throbbed with a heart wrenching pain, he screamed and firmly gripped his head with his hands, he turned around and pressed his head against the cold hard ground as hard as he possibly could, as if trying to squeeze the very pain out of him. But to no avail. The throbbing pain he experienced was like nothing he¡¯d ever encountered before, he¡¯s been bitten and stung by countless deadly insects and snakes, and yet, nothing compares to what he¡¯s feeling at this moment. Instead of subsiding as time passed, the throbbing pain turned more vicious, making him scream his lungs out and claw at his head. This went on for hours and hours with no end in sight. The reason why he was experiencing this pain, was because his body could no longer contain his soul. His souls evolution was too quick for his body to keep up with, but not only that, the excess energy from the immortal made his soul strengthen and develop even further, which in turn made his body that much more an unsuitable vessel to hold his now powerful soul. So his body had to adapt and develop to the point where it could hold him. As this was happening, the memories and experiences of the immortal also started to integrate into his soul, slowly fusing with him and becoming one with him. But this only made his soul develop even more to compensate the large amount of information the immortals soul contained and now his soul could rival that of someone that had consumed and refined the souls of tens of thousands of mortals. Now, only an hour had passed but he had lost his voice from his constant screaming and yelling. But even so, he kept trying to scream as loud as he possibly could, while his head bleeds from his fingers digging into his skull but it couldn¡¯t compare to the pain he feels from within his brain. ¡¡ It¡¯s been a day now but the pain he had felt before had only affected a portion of his body, his body still wasn¡¯t strong enough to hold his powerful soul, so the pain spread, every muscle fibre, every cell within his very being was now been affected by the pain and it only made everything feel that much worse. With this evolution occurring to his body, his senses heightened to an extreme degree, but this too served to help the pain intensify. He now felt his body breaking down, healing and developing at the molecular level, but that was only the beginning. To him it felt like his body was being stripped of his skin, his flesh felt as if it was slowly ripped from his very bones while also feeling like they were being burned in pits of lava. He felt his skeletal system slowly breaking apart into pebble sized pieces, only to be put back together and broken apart again. But the worst of them all was his blood, it felt like his body was a pot filled with water, boiling to the point it was diminishing into steam, but the worst part about this was its affect to his organs, which made it feel like they were slowly but surely cooking away for some mongrel to eat, this affected not only his heart, stomach, liver etc. but also his brain, testicles and nerve system, therefore intensifying the pain to another level. All this pain and torture takes time to describe, but it was happening to his body simultaneously, making him constantly enter into a state of unconsciousness and consciousness. Although painful, his body was becoming more and more developed, making the pain lessen as more pain ensued. But as the body could only handle so much, it couldn¡¯t keep up with the evolution, making it seem as if it would truly give in to the pain and turn into mush, but as if his soul had done so countless times before, it nourished the body with its power, giving his body enough strength to keep up with the evolution. With this constant struggle of pain and suffering, not once did his will to live waver, not even at the most brutal of times. Which goes to show how much will power this mortal being had, something rarely seen even in the realm of immortals. While the body reconstructed itself, it cleansed him of all the impurities his body possessed by burning and pushing them out of his body, making him something even those above him envious of him, but with this came a price, his body deemed his meridians and dantian as waste and they were burned away with the impurities, but it was of no concern for him for now. It is now a full month since the start of his bodies evolution and the pain slowly but surely disappeared, it may have been a month real time but to him, it felt like he was in that state of pain and suffering for what felt like an eternity. While the pain was subsiding, his mentality had taken its toll and shut down automatically, making his consciousness fade into a deep slumber. During his time of rest, the impurities that had been burned out of his body, began to wriggle, the gooey like substance had started to move and form together into what seemed like a slime like entity, it had no face, nor any limbs, it just looked like a body of black slime, giving off a very foul and awful stench. It took a few minutes to gather all together the impurities, but it did so in the end, its body had formed and now it awaits as its master slumbers. Report it.¡¡ As I awaken, the first thing I notice, are my senses, my senses have heightened to the point of being monstrous, but the reason I notice this, is because of the foul stench that hit my nose as I open my eyes and instead of the usual darkness id expected I could see 100 feet in front of me but I didn¡¯t notice until after backing away from the source of the stench. When I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was a blackish brown blob, and my first instinct was to get up and back away from it.As i back away and stare at it, it just sits there silently, but I know it¡¯s alive because it¡¯s body wriggles every now and then. I think to myself ¡®what the fuck is that? Where did it come from?¡¯ As I try to find out what it is and where it came from, it rolls over to my side, but instead of running away from it, a gut feeling tells me it¡¯s not dangerous, in fact my gut tells me it¡¯s friendly, and I listen to it. When it was a metre away, I squat down and stare at it curiously, although the smell was foul and unbearable, my curiosity out weighed my repulsion. I reach out my hand to touch it, and as I touch it, a portion of my soul rips off of me, inducing a pain similar to what I had experienced before, but with less intensity, as I feel it rip away from me, I notice that the part of my soul that was ripped away, was the very thing that I believed saved me, the beast within. When both the ripped soul and slime like creature touched, they fused and its demeanour change and when I felt that portion of soul fuse with it, I could feel an inexplicable connection with it, as if it was a part of me. And now that I feel that, I can feel what it is, and where it came from, it¡¯s no wonder why I felt no danger from it, it came from me. As their fusion completed, I back away and watch what happens. The slime twists and turns, as if trying to rip itself apart, but in the end it could only suffer in silence. But as time went on it slowly combusted and steam started to come from it, as if it was burning away, being curious as to what was happening I sit down and watch carefully. It¡¯s been an hour and now, all that¡¯s left is a black golf ball sized ball, and instead of a smooth surface, it had markings all over it, as if they were patterns, but the most fascinating thing about it, was the ever changing nature of the markings. Instead of being set in stone, the markings changed constantly, as if alive. Although I¡¯m interested as to what the slime has turned into, something else catches my attention. Slowly, memories I never had before started to appear before me, so I focused my attention on what these memories were. ¡ As he sat down, his mind wonders off into a world of wonder and fascination, it depicts a world of beauty but primitive savagery, it was like nothing he¡¯d ever seen before which made him all the more excited. But as time went on, more vivd memories started to appear, memories of family members dying and betraying one another, or of intense battles, resulting in mountains crumbling and the sky splitting. As he digests the memories laid before him, he comes to understand how massive the universe truly is and how small his existence means to it. He took a full month to digest and consume all the memories and experiences the immortal had to offer, he learned that the immortal was named Jin Fei, and in his prime, he was essentially a god, but in the end even gods fall from the heavens. Jin Fei was a prodigy, a genius and an utter and complete monster when it came to rune inscriptions, array formations and cultivation. He achieved the pinnacle in all his specialties, but due to his trust of others, he was betrayed and cut down by both his friends and family, sealed away in an ever changing dimensional pocket and although he achieved the pinnacle of power, his hesitation in hurting those he¡¯d loved was his downfall. Through the memories and experiences Jin Fei had given to him, he learned quite a few things, he had to gain enough strength to break the barrier sealing this place, but also that his body no longer had the ability to cultivate due to his bodies transformation. As he learned of these facts, at first he felt helpless, but it¡¯d take much more for him to give up so easily. So he spent hours sifting and looking through all the memories of Jin Fei, until he found his solution, Body Inscribing. Body Inscribing once flourished in the realm of immortals, its power was something no normal being could fathom. It could change those who were born with weak and frail bodies, into one who had strong and powerful bodies, granting them the power to devour all others. It¡¯s affects were many and powerful, but the price to pay made those who wished to obtain it hesitate. The conditions to begin Body Inscribing were savagely extreme, but there were only 4 conditions that had to be met. 1. To be a mortal. 2. To have as little impurities within ones body. 3. To have a will of steel, a firm heart and determination to face all consequences. 4. To have an extremely powerful soul and be willing to sacrifice and detonate the soul Even in ancient times these conditions were extreme, but the abundance of medicinal pills, plants and liquids aided their ability to obtain said power. With the help of their medicines they could nourish both the body and soul to meet the requirements. But all things must come to an end. With their excessive use of medicines, the realms could no longer sustain the demand of their greed and so, many of the immortal plants dwindled until extinction. And as a consequence, all those that practiced or tried to practice body inscribing were hunted by the realm until they too dwindled into extinction. Jin Fei had stumbled upon this method while exploring the wonders of the world during his prime. He found it within a demonic ruin in the south east of the world, where devils and demons once resided. The ruins contained countless treasures, riches and books, and that¡¯s where he obtained this knowledge, after gaining knowledge of said power, he became fascinated with how powerful it could actually be and began to search for the remnants and research its depths to gain a better understanding of its limits. But although the power was tempting, he would have never had the chance to cultivate it, but now it¡¯s in the hands of this young man, Abaddon. Chapter 2 As Abbadon pondered upon Jin Fei¡¯s memories, he became sympathetic of his misfortune, but his sympathy vanished soon after. Abbadons own upbringing wasn¡¯t the brightest either, he¡¯d even killed quite a few people during his earlier years, which has made him how he is now, strong willed and cold-blooded. So although he can understand Jin Fei¡¯s rage and sorrow, he wouldn¡¯t divulge in the sympathy he had for him and instead disregard it as a fleeting moment. His mind returned to Body Inscribing, and he was pleased with the required conditions because they suited his current situation perfectly. But the last condition would scare even the most insane of people, let alone himself, and so he hesitated, as every other being would. But as he hesitated, he steeled his resolve and decided upon cultivating it. Why? Because not only did he know that every risk had a reward, but that he also knew he didn¡¯t have any other choice due to his current predicament, so instead of thinking about the consequences and hesitating any further, he readied his mind and soul for the calamity he was about to bring upon himself. He closed his eyes and took long, deep breaths to calm himself, and as he did so, he went through the steps and procedures of entering the realm of Body Inscribing. As time passed, he came to understand what he must do, so he clenched his teeth and hands as hard as he could, while at the same time trying to tens every other inch of his body and detonated his soul in its entirety. .. In order to cultivate Body Inscribing, all conditions must be met, nothing must be missing in order for the process to be successful, and the more thoroughly the conditions are fulfilled, the more easily one can enter the first realm. The first condition prevents those who choose to become a Body Inscriptor, from exploding due to impure energy conflicting with soul energy within the body. The second condition lets the souls power and energy become one with the body, allowing full control of the ins and outs of the body, the less impurities present within the body, the more the soul can integrate with the body and the more power they can wield. The third condition allows their mind to focus and ignore the pain that comes with cultivating this method, for whoever walks the path of an Inscriptor, must accept whatever may come their way. And the final condition, and also the most important condition, can make the procedure a failure or a success, why? Because without a strong enough soul, the soul will not be able to integrate with the whole body, preventing their body from even functioning properly. Without a strong soul, ones control over the energies will be weak, therefore preventing them from integrating inscriptions onto the body, making their body useless to a cultivator. A strong soul will allow a being the power Body Inscribing promises, but Abbadon¡¯s soul bring about its utmost potential .. After detonation, all the power within his soul scattered into all directions and his body felt all its muscles feel as though an explosion had occurred within, but all Abbadon felt was his consciousness blackening, his memories fading and his very being changing, but in order to prevent all of this, he steeled his will and made the scattered fragments of his soul refine themselves into a gaseous state, and slowly integrated into every inch of his muscles, filling them with an immense amount of energy and strengthening them beyond human capabilities turning his body into a weapon. The process of refining and integration took days to complete but he stilled achieved success in the end, and as Abbadon awoke from his focus, instead of feeling exhaustion and fatigue, he felt invigorated and refreshed, as if he¡¯d been reborn once again. He could now perceive every inch of his body structure, allowing him to attain a state of the body and mind becoming one. He stood up and flexed his now naked body, and he noticed quite a few changes had occurred, his lean muscles now looked as though carved from the finest marbles, his lightly tanned skin had turned cream white and the skin itself had become as soft as a newborns skin, creating the illusion of a delicate body. He had also found he¡¯d grown from 5¡¯10 to 6¡¯2 and his member had grown significantly as well. But the most distinct feature of his body that had changed the most was his face. His hair had elongated to his upper back and had changed from a brown black, to a pure black, making one think of the abyss when one looked at it. His face itself had become more defined, a chiseled jawline, a streamline nose, sharp eyebrows and high cheekbones. His face radiated a masculine and courageous aura, making him more handsome than one would imagine, but the most eye catching feature were his eyes, when noticed, they radiate a savage aura and the colour had changed into a red so dark it could be mistaken as black, but the colour only made his eyes seem that much more sinister, making his overall aura turn from someone masculine and heroic, to someone cold-hearted and demonic. Although he¡¯d only entered the first realm of Body Inscribing, the benefits it brought were astonishing. He could now sense every single cell within his body, his senses themselves had heightened to a new level and his body had become strong beyond belief, but as for how strong he¡¯d become, he had no way of knowing. But entering was only the beginning. After the integration, his first reaction was to stabilise and consolidate the energy within and make sure to set a concrete solid foundation, because he possessed the memories and experiences of Jin Fei, he knew how much a solid foundation means to a cultivator and so began his first step onto the martial path. It took 6 days for the soul power to stabilise but it took a full month to compile the power into every cell of his body. Now he has begun contemplating what path he will take on his journey.Unauthorized reproduction: this story has been taken without approval. Report sightings. Body Inscribing isn¡¯t just inscribing runes onto the body, one must choose wisely as to what runes to imprint on the body, and once done it cannot be undone. The path one takes is all up to ones self, and although it can grant infinite power it has its limits. For example, a person who achieved mediocre results when crossing over to the first realm has a limit of 3 inscription runes before their body is at their full capacity of power, a genius with incredible results has a capacity of 7 runes, but someone with a perfect result has a limit of 13 runes. Of course as one progresses through the realms, you obtain more and more capacity to hold more runes but without a solid foundation and good results, even that has a limit. But this is not the end of it, although 13 isn¡¯t a big number, it makes a huge difference. Although 13 is just an estimate, it only accounts for low tier runes. The runes have 5 tiers, with each tier having their corresponding colour, and the higher the level the more rune slots it takes to inscribe onto the body, low-tier runes (White) take 1 slot, mid-tier runes (Green) 2 slots, high-tier runes (Blue) 3 slots, top-tier runes (Purple) 4 slots and God-tier runes (Black) take 5 slots. With more power comes a consequence, trial and error, should you try to assimilate a Black rune onto your body and the rune rejects you, the backlash from the rejection could lead to either severe injuries, or death, the higher the tier, the more sentient the rune becomes. Of course should the rune accept you, the power it will bring will be immense and over powering, but even during the peak of its era, only a few over hundreds of thousands of years were given the chance to obtain the power of a God-tier rune. As Abbadon saw the immense amount of runes one could choose to assimilate onto the body, his mind spun at all the possibilities, but the majority of them were low-tier runes which he chose to ignore in the end, but even then, there were just too many to choose from, some strengthened the skin itself, making it impenetrable, others transformed the body into a viscous beast, or even those that made the body explode upon death, which could kill all those within a specific radius. As he looked through the different kinds of runes, he came across combination runes which allowed the body to combine different runes to obtain a power beyond the tiers level but the majority were trash combinations and the more Abbadon looked the more uninterested he became, until one rune set caught his eye, the demonic rune set, which consisted of 3 purple tier runes, the runes of flesh, blood and bone, each more sinister looking than the other, and when combined, the wielder himself becomes a demon akin to the devil himself. Whilst reading about its description, he became more and more intrigued, but as he thought about it he chose to only assimilate one for now, as his current situation hindered his choice. After choosing the rune to inscribe onto his body, he concentrated and visualised the rune whilst gathering the soul power within his body towards his chest and started to create his first rune, but whilst creating it, waves of killing intent washed over him and when he opened his eyes a world of blood and flesh greeted him, bodies littered the floor like the leaves would in fall, the smell both repulsing and sinister, and all that could be heard was silence, so eerie it gave one chills running down their back. Abbadon first became startled by the sight but as time went on he adjusted to the scene and got used to the smell before snapping awake and feeling a burning sensation coming from his chest, back and arms, but compared to the pain he¡¯s been through it felt like a tickle rather than a burning sensation. When the burn cooled down his chest had a large black slit that looked as though someone was about to rip his body apart, on his back was a small array formation that came in the form of 2 circles with a star, while in the middle of the star was an eye, small inscription were written all over the formation. His wrists gained inscriptions runes which read, ¡°rip all apart with the power of flesh¡±. Abbadon felt the power within him surge to another level, and being excited he activated the runes demonic power. The runes and tattoos flashed purple for a second before he felt his skin rip apart, and he blanked out before he regained focus again. He looked at his new form and nearly jumped out of his skin when he saw what his body had become. His body no longer had any skin on it, all you could see was flesh and muscle with blood slowly dripping, his elbows, knees and shoulders had gained thorns as long and as sharp as daggers while his fingers ended in claws and his knuckles had grown out of his muscles into a sharpened point. What was most noticeable was the amount of muscle he¡¯d gained from the transformation, he¡¯d grown much bigger but his muscles had remained lean and defined. What Abbadon didn¡¯t know was that the transformation made him much more stronger and robust. He towered at 8 feet tall and his head had deformed into that of a demons, he¡¯d grown horns, and another set of eyes, while his mouth had become like that of a dragons, barring his sharp teeth naturally. It was a sight no one would want to behold. After moving around a bit, he found he¡¯d grown slower by a significant amount, but he could feel the strength surging within his muscles. But another downside was the drain on mental prowess and physical exertion, the longer he stayed within his transformed state, the longer he felt mentally and physically fatigued, so he changed back into his human form before falling onto the floor to recuperate, the drain of energy had a bigger impact than he had thought. Once he recuperated, he first listed all the ups and downs to the transformation and he came to the conclusion that he had to make up for the disadvantages with runes. And although he was reluctant to spend the rest of his rune slots on the disadvantages, he didn¡¯t have a choice. He first obtained the rune of regeneration, a high-tier rune, which boosted the recuperation speed of both physical and mental prowess significantly, while also giving him the ability to heal faster than a normal human. It was burned into his skin in the symbol of a plus sign in the middle of his forearms. As a test he transformed into his demonic form to test out his new runes affects, but the first thing he noticed was the absence of its ability. It seemed that some runes could not be used in coordination with others.Learning of that, he decided to choose his next runes wisely. It took 5 hours before he finally decided on his last 3 runes, which were all green tier. The first one was the rune of thought, which gave him faster thinking power and photographic memory, allowing him to calculate and think at a much faster rate. It integrated into his mind before disappearing. The second rune, was the rune of explosive speed which boosted his speed with the use of small explosions of fire at the sole of his feet. The rune was of a spiral flame and was imprinted onto the soles of his feet. The last rune, was the rune of impact, it granted unprecedented power, but it could only be activated upon impact as the name implied. The rune was imprinted onto the back of his hand, it was the size of a pingpong ball in the shape of a rhombus with cracks spreading out from the middle. Chapter 3 As Abbadon emerges from within a crack on the side of a cliff, he takes a second to take in the scenery and light. It took 2 years to break out of the sealed dimensional pocket, but it was in the end worth it. After resting for a few seconds, he looks towards the ground and notices it would be at least a 100 metre drop, so he sighs and starts climbing down. After reaching the floor, he starts to ponder upon which way he should head towards in order to reach civilisation. But before he could start thinking, a shadow leapt towards him with incredible speed, and with no time to react, he decides to roll to the side, and as he rolls he feels a sharp pain coming from his left arm and chest, a deep gash could be seen. After rolling away, he comes to a stop in a crouching position, Abbadon looks at the shadow, only to be surprised as to what had attacked him. It wasn¡¯t like any animal he¡¯d ever come across, it looked like a tiger but this particular tiger was different. The only differences between this tiger and any normal tiger would be its size, colour and horns, it had goat like horns on its head, while it fur had turned grey and it¡¯s size had grown to that of a horse. After a brief moment of being shocked, a stinging pain snaps him out of it, and after noticing the dire situation he was in, he becomes alert and serious. The tiger looks at him sinisterly, as if looking at prey. After getting up, Abbadon slowly starts to circle around the tiger, sizing it up, waiting for an opportunity to strike, and after what seemed like hours, the tiger pounces towards him with the intent to kill, but Abbadon is ready, as the tiger is about to land on him, he leans to the left and dodges its paws whilst he counters with a straight punch to the tigers nose, and as his punch connects, a faint green light emerges from the back of his hand, knocking the tiger back 10 meters taking down trees as it flew to a stop. The green light signified the activation of his rune, ¡®impact¡¯ it triples the power of the users strike, it¡¯s only downsides would be the activation sequence, it can only activate for .4 seconds, meaning it can only be used upon impact and the punch has to have momentum to be used at its full potential, its upside would be its continuous use. As the tiger flew away, Abbadons eyes flash with an intense red light and he pounces on the chance to finish the tiger off, he rushes towards it, jumps up and brings down his fist upon its head before it could get up. As the fist made contact with its head, it explodes outwards, covering him with blood and gore. When the adrenaline wears off, he flicks his hand out a few times with enough force for the blood to come off and wipes his face. ¡®What the fuck was that? I haven¡¯t seen nor heard of an animal like this before.¡¯ After pondering about it, he decides now isn¡¯t the time to worry about such trivial things and instead starts to think about survival. As he looks around and surveys the area, he decides it¡¯s a better idea to move away from the corpse, in case other or more dangerous beasts are drawn to the scent of blood. But now that he has the time to look around, the trees and plants seemed to have grown more larger than he recalls them being, the average tree trunk would take a few men to wrap around it, if not more, and the plants had grown as tall as a few meters. It now seems that he had been transferred to a different world entirely, since the plants and animals seems so different from earths. A few days later, a young man emerges from the woods onto a dirt road and looks around, his clothes consist of what seems to be a pair of ripped up shorts and a cape of white fur with a wolves head lying on his shoulder. He looked as though he was a savage and the look in his eyes strengthened this assumption further. This young man was Abbadon. After killing the tiger like beast, he¡¯d come across many other dangerous beasts, a pack of wolves that had fur as hard as steel, a man eating plant, giant bees etc, and he¡¯d even had to transform on a few occasions, and just a few hours ago, he¡¯d encountered a giant black bear that seemed too much even for him, so he decided to avoid it before coming across this road. He decided to recuperating for a bit before he started walking down the road, hoping to find civilisation. After walking for a few hours he finally came across what seems like civilisation, except it wasn¡¯t what he had expected. In front of him lay what seemed to be a town, a small one at that, but everything that it was, all of the building were covered in weeds and moss, as if no one had lived here for centuries, and it wasn¡¯t just any town. Cars also littered the street, but they were also covered in moss. ¡®What the actual fuck is going on?¡¯ Abbadon thinks, astonished by the sight, he¡¯d assumed that he had transferred to a different dimension, but instead it looks as if he¡¯s on Earth, because he remembers this town, he¡¯d stayed at the local motel for a while before entering the forrest. It was called Hausach. ¡®Looks like a lot more than 2 years have passed since I was last here. It¡¯d take at least 50 years of abandonment for this place to be like this, if not more. Seems like I have to quickly travel to Offenburg to find out what the fuck happened while I was trapped¡¯ Before leaving, he decided to look inside the buildings to see if anything could help his anxiousness. Anyone who had been through a coma could somewhat sympathise with Abbadon, after all, if so much time has passed, someone like his only family, his grandmother, would¡¯ve died long ago. So he was anxious to know if she really was dead, and where she was buried. After an hour of scouring the place, he found nothing but scraps of metal, so he decided to head out towards Offenburg. While walking, he decides to rip off his fur coat and throw it on the ground because of its stuffiness, he readies himself and activates explosive speed.Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions. Explosive speed uses tiny air explosives underneath the soles of the feet to boost a persons speed significantly, making the user 4-5 times their normal speed, it can also be used in the air, allowing one to be versatile both on the ground and in the air, but used continuously can result in their feet becoming injured, should their body be strong enough though, they can use it infinitely. Although strong, Abbadon could only use explosive speed for 1hr before he¡¯d have to rest. But it was more than enough to travel to Offenburg. Whilst running, he couldn¡¯t help notice the eerie quietness of the jungle. The silence gave him a sense of danger, and he was right, in front of him stood a small mountain, it was 5-7 metres tall and 10 meters long, its fur was matt black, its claws were razor sharp, giving off a feeling as if they could rip through anything, and its jaw was filled with vicious looking teeth that could shred through bones, it was the black bear from before, staring at him with what seemed like contempt, as if saying ¡®you dare disturb my peace and quiet.¡¯ Abbadon cancels explosive speed and digs his feet into the ground, halting to a stop. He heaved a big sigh, knowing he should have expected this much. But instead of trying to avoid the bear, he looks at it and his mouth curls into a slight smile. He takes out a black golf ball sized ball from his pocket, looks at it and squeezes. It breaks with a distinct sound, but that was nothing to be afraid of, what came next would induce fear into anyone who saw what happened after though. Abbadon opens his hand and the once small ball starts to expand with black mist covering it, the mix of mist and black rock elongate outward from his palm shaping itself into what seemed like a weapon. It grew to a staggering 5 feet, the whole thing was black with a tinge of red, it was a giant claymore, reminiscent of something from a fantasy. The blade alone was 4 feet, whilst the hilt and guard took up the rest, it looked sinister and fit for someone demonic. Whilst trapped, Abbadon learned a lot, the black ball is one example. Whilst bored, he decided to try to see the black balls functions, and after a few hours of probing it with soul energy a response came back, as if asking him to break it apart, and although hesitant, he did as asked. Then as it broke apart, black smoke came out of his hand and as if on instinct, the ball started to shape itself into a cube. A few days later he also learned that in order for it to expand and shape it, he had to provide it blood. So whilst out and about, everything he killed became nourishment for what he named ¡®cloud¡¯. And so what¡¯s in Abbadons hand is the end result. The more blood consumed by cloud, the more heavier and concentrated it became, and the way cloud was now, in claymore form, he weighed 110kg, which boosted its killing power greatly. A philosophy of Abbadons was, hesitation is a mans greatest enemy, and this applies especially in situations like this. So after equipping cloud, Abbadon didn¡¯t wait for the black bear to make its move and ran head on towards it. Once a few meter from the bear he jumps a few metres into the air on its right side to dodge the claw coming towards him, he knew that should it land a hit on him, it could mean death, so he acted with both caution and ruthlessness. Once in the air, the black bear looks as if looking at a dumb bug, and uses its maw to bite at him, but before it¡¯s jaws could snap onto him, he uses explosive speed and jumps over his head and lands on its lower back with a downward stab. The stab cuts through the fur and penetrates the skin moving into its muscle, but it couldn¡¯t move any further in. Disappointed, he jumps off before the bear could try to shake him off and lands with a forward roll before he starts sprinting off towards its hind legs. After reaching its left leg he punches with everything he has, combined with ¡®impact¡¯, the damage it could do was immense, but unfortunately, the fur absorbed most of the shock, nullifying the attack. As his punch ends, it manages to push the bear enough to annoy it and it turns around to claw at him. As the attack is about to land, he backflips but the backflip prevents him from seeing the bears other paw which lands squarely onto his body, sending him flying into a giant boulder crushing it to pieces. His muscles ached and he could feel many of his bones had been fractured but the pain it brought about was minimal, he only found it more annoying than anything. Without any other choice, he activates his flesh rune, transforming him into a demonic flesh monster, as the transformation end, he lets out a demonic roar towards the sky. As the bear looks on towards what should have been a mangled body, it was surprised to find a demon in its place, and as it hears the roar of the demon, it becomes fearful of what was in front of it. But instead of running away, the black bear becomes enraged at the fact such a tiny being could instil fear into itself and roars at it. Instead of listening to its instincts, it charges towards the demon, raises its paw and smashes towards the being with unprecedented strength, but instead of dodging like the bear had expected it to, the demon throws a punch of its own, and as their punches connect, a green light emerges from the beings fist, bringing about power beyond the bears belief. After contact, an explosion pushes both the demon and the bear back, and as they both come to a stop, they glare at each other with a murderous look. As the fight stops, the surrounding become silent, as if suffocating from the intense pressure the 2 entities exuded, and after a few seconds, the black bear makes its move. It uses an attack that would cost enough energy to shave off a few years off its life, but even knowing that, it still continues to use it, at the cost of obliterating its enemy. It stands on its hind legs and lifts its paw towards the sky, and holds the paw there for a few seconds before bringing the claw down crashing towards the ground as if slashing at an invisible entity in front of it, as the claws hit the ground, three blades of light rip through the earth like hot knives through butter and head towards Abbadon. Had Abbadon been in his human form, he would have tried to stop the attack at all costs, but his speed in his flesh form would never allow it, so instead he grabs cloud, quickly slices his left forearm and offers it his blood and in exchange the blade of the claymore becomes elongated and expands to a massive 6 feet alone. Abbadon lifts the newly formed blade into a baseball stance and awaits the attack to reach him, before he slashes towards the blades of light with all his strength, this time with the added affect of ¡®impact¡¯, the three blades connect with the claymore and an even bigger explosion than the last exchange occurs, ruining all life around Abbadon, sending him back 50 meters crashing into multiple trees before he coming to a stop. As he lay on the ground exhausted, his body can no longer handle the flesh demon form and changes him back into his human form, he feels a trembling in the ground, they¡¯re footsteps, its the black bear slowly creeping towards him, obviously exhausted as well. Abbadon tries to get up but his body denies him. Being as stubborn as he was though, he forces his body to stand slowly, blood covers the majority of his face and drips down his entire body which was covered in wounds. Looking upon the giant bear before him though, he can tell it¡¯s not in any better shape than he was, the paw that he¡¯d attacked in his demon form had mangled, blood poured out of its mouth, and its breathing was heavy. It lifts its only paw up to finish off the vile human before it but stops as it hears the human laughing hysterically. Abbadons face isn¡¯t of one who has given up, in fact, it¡¯s one full of smiles, he looks up at the bear and roars, ¡°COME ON YA STUPID FUCKING BEAR! I DARE YOU!¡± And with that the bear could feel the human mocking it so it slashes at Abbadon with rage filling its eyes, but it doesn¡¯t notice the cunning glint in Abbadons eyes. As the paw lands upon him, he¡¯s sent flying with 3 enormous gashes across his torso, the wounds are so deep, one could see mangled bones and flesh in them. As the bear looks at the mangled human, it turns around and leaves towards its den, too exhausted to eat.
