I begin to slowly walk down, but i immediately start slipping. I try to balance myself by straightening, but that only makes it worse. I fall on my back and hit my head, and my vision gets hazy. i try to grab onto the sidewalk, but it is too slippery so i can''t get a grip. I start to spin uncontrollably. This is bad because at the bottom is rocks with really sharp edges. I am about 20 meters away. 15 meters... 10 meters... 5 meters... 3 meters... 1 met... and everything went dark

Cool. I close my eyes and try to gather about 1 000 000MP in my hand to use. i then imagine it explode without damage, and travel outwards. And as if to obey, it did exactly that. it is traveling at a speed of about 1 km/s. after about 15 seconds i feel all of my mana return, i felt a large gathering of big wolflike creatures that i assume is monsters, to the south, they are about 3 km away. i open my eyes and see two screens that weren''t there before.

It worked, cool. it leveled up a lot in doing just one thing... well whatever. i guess i should get going. i guess you activate the teleportation just by imagining it, i imagine my self standing about 100 meters away from the monsters... and i am there. well, that was easy. The wolves notice me the second i teleport, and pounce at me. i start to panic a little bit, but i calm myself down, thinking that i can kill all of them. i breathe in and out, and start to gather mana in my hand, and imagine it becoming spikes as sharp as scalpels. when they are about 25 meters away, i make the mana spikes fly as fast as thunder towards the monsters. the spikes ravage the bodies of the wolves, and after a few seconds all of them are dead. i then notice a few screens.

Ah but first i have to get the Sensitivity skill. I looked around and saw a few trees, i walk over to the closest tree and start to reach towards it while restraining myself, and... it didn''t work. Okay one more time, just try harder. I reach out with my hands once again, and try to restrain my power as much as possible. The hand reach the stem, and doesn''t go through! I didn''t manage to not hurt the tree, but when i retract my hand i see a screen that i didn''t notice before now. I must have focused really hard.

It lets you have more points in the stats, such more mana or health. Each point you put in is worth 10, so if you put in 3 stat points into Mana then you get 30 points more mana.

They noticed your Mana leaking out of your body. I would suggest to conceal your mana to an extent that monsters won''t detect you when you fight, and when you are with other people you leak the mana of an average Adventurer.

Okay, i guess i will do that. I try to sense the mana around me, and i feel like im surrounded by something. I guess that is my mana, i can see how they sensed me. I take controll of the mana, and draw all of it towards me. I make it go inside my body, and make only a little flow out at a time. There, did it work Aterna?

I guess i should test the rest of my skills. I activate Builder and imagine a sword made of metal, and after a few seconds a sword is being constructed in the air a meter away from me. When it is finished, it drops to ground. I walk over and pick it up, i lighty swing it around, and after a few seconds of doing that, i get a screen.

All that is left now is Body manipulation, i guess you just activate it and imagine what to look like. I activate body manipulation and imagine myself with crow wings, i startfeeling ticklish on my back, and i hear something ripping. After a few seconds it all stops, and i feel around with my hand, i feel that my sweater has ripped, and i feel something protruding out of my back. I guess those are the wings. How do you flap them? I feel something different on my back, maybe i should try to move them. I start slowly moving them up and down and getting faster over time. the wind from the wings make the grass around me sway. I start feeling my body getting lighter and lighter. I start moving them even faster now, and i start levitating. I try to flap my wings hard, and i shoot up into the sky. When i stop ascending i try to keep floating by flapping my wings moderately, and it worked. I look all around me and see into the distance, i can see the city a few kilometers away, and even further awayi can barely make out a large city with large walls around, and a castle in the middle. I guess i will go to the closest city first. Aterna will the people in the city close to me freak out if they see me like this?

Okay, i guess i will land when i am close but still out of sight for the city, and then change back. I start flying towards the city but i misjudge my power, because i shoot forward. Well it will get me there faster. After flying for a bit i see a rock i can land behind, i descend and start flapping my wings weakly to not fall. When i hit the ground, i had too much speed, so i crashed into the ground, but it didn''t hurt at all. Why was that?
That isbecause your strength is high, your skin is almost impenetrable, so it is very hard to get hurt.
That is very handy. What is the currency here? While talking i start to retract the wings into my body.
The currency is copper, silver, gold and platinum coins. 100 copper coins is 1 silver coin, and 100 silver is 1 gold coin, and 100 gold coins is 1 platinum coin. 10 copper is approximately 1 US dollar.
Will there be a problem if i make money with my builder skill?
There will be no problems, as long as you don''t get caught.
How does the coins look like?
They are circular with no engarvings, the height is 1cm-ish. copper coins is mixture of copper and iron. Silver coins is a mixture of silver and iron. Gold coins is a mixture of gold and silver. Platinum coins is a mixture of platinum and iron.
Okay, i will make 1000 copper coins, 500 silver coins, 300 gold coins and 100 platinum coins. I start making them, and with them i make pouches to hold them in. Aterna do i have an inventory?

I put the coins in the inventory, i undress and put my clothes in there too. I make new clothes made of vicuna wool, i make them look like medieval clothes. Now that, that is finished, i guess i should go towards the city. Chapter 4 Adventurer Guild The city has a diameter of about one kilometer, it is surrounded by 5 meter tall walls, and has towers every few hundred meters. In the middle there is a big mansion, which is raised by a stone plateau. Just outside the city is fields for what looks like potatoes, and other kind of vegetables, running through the fields is small rivers that flow out to a lake. Just behind the fields is a forest that continues for a few kilometers and ends with a few mountains forming a natural border against a desert. I begin to walk towards the gate, which has a line of people entering. At the front there sometimes shines a light, which last a second or two then vanishes. What is that Aterna?
That is a Magic Item that shines when it senses mana, and it checks if you have done something illegal.
A Magic item? do you think i can make a magic item?
Yes you can master, if you get the enchanting skill. You get it by writing runes and imbuing them with mana. It would be fairly easy for you to learn since you got the language comprehension skill, and the amount of mana you got. The runes have it''s origin in the country of Dwarves, so i would recommend going there to learn it, it would probably be faster too. The humans have very few who got the enchanting skill, so they often trade with the dwarves.
So Dwarves exist too?
Yes. There is 8 races excluding yours and animals, Elves, Dragons, Dwarves, Humans, Elementals, Demons, Beastmen and Monsters, the monsters have several types such as the wolves you killed.
Okay, i guess i will go to he Dwarves later then. I get in line and wait for my turn. I didn''t have to wait long, while i waited, i overheard a few people talking so i learned the language. I take out a pouch full of coins, and attach it to my waist. When it is my turn a soldier turns to me and asks "Do you have a guild card of some kind?"(Soldier) "No, i don''t." I answer back. "Then you have to pay 5 copper coins and touch this crystal ball."(soldier) He says pointing towards the Magic item. "Okay." I hand him the coins, and put my hand to the magic item. A bright white light covers the crystal ball, and after a few seconds it tones down. "You can pass."(soldier) I continue walking until i reachto the main street. I grab a random passerby. "Can you tell me the way to the adventurer guild" "Yes, it''s a big building close to the city lords manor, it has a big sign with two swords, and the building is made out of stone, you can''t miss it"(passerby) "Thank you." I walk down the main street looking for the guild, and after walking a bit, i arrive. You really can''t miss it, It''s at least twice the height of all the building nearby. I walk in, and i looked around expecting something... and nothing happened. So there isn''t a clich¨¦ here that makes everyone look at me the second i come in. I see a reception with three windows, all are manned by three pretty ladies, and none are occupied. I walk to the closet window, which is manned by a pretty onee-san with long blonde hair, and big breasts. "Hello, how may i help you?"(Big breasted onee-san) "Hello i wish to register as an adventurer." "Yes, then you need to fill out this form, and drop a little blood in the specified area."(Big breasted onee-san) She says while handing me the form, a pen and a knife. "Okay." I take the form and begin to fill it out. Name: Matthew Hill Age: 19 Place of birth(you do not have to disclose the information) -------- Wished Rank:S. There is nothing really holding me back, so i can just go all out i guess. And here is the toughest part, the bleeding part. If i do it with the knife, it will break. I guess i will bite myself then. I take my thumb and bite it. I hold it over the form and let the blood drip onto the paper. after about 1 second i don''t bleed any more, and my injury is gone. Looks like me hoping for the injury to not close immediately helped, because it would have been closed much, much faster if i didn''t do that. I give the the form back to the onee-san. "Thank you, it will take a few minutes to process, so please wait here."(Big breasted onee-san) "Okay." She begins to walk away, and i sit down in a chair nearby and wait. After waiting for a bit, she comes back holding a card made of what looks like iron, and it also has a feel of magic around it. She is also carrying a document. "Here you are, the guild card. With it you don''t have to pay taxes each time you enter a city, and you don''t have to touch the crystal ball either."(Big breasted onee-san) "Oooh, that''s good." She gives me the card, and says "To upgrade to your wished rank, you have to finish this quest and give something that proves you did it."(Big breasted onee-san) "Ok, is there a time limit?" "No, there is not."(Big breasted onee-san) She gives me the quest, and i check out my card.

That will be easy. I start to leave when the receptionist says. "If you don''t want to do this quest, you don''t have to, but you won''t get another chance to rank up."(Big breasted onee-san) "That is okay, i can do it." I walk out of the guild, and start walking towards the gate facing the forest. When i get to the gate, i walk out. I guess you don''t have to pay tax to get out of the city. When i have walked a bit, i start sensing the mana in a radius of 5km. After a few seconds, i feel a big mana source a few kilometers away. I double check to see if anyone is around, and when i am sure there is no one around for atleast a kilometer, i take of my shirt so that it won''t get ripped, and morph wings onto my back. I begin to fly towards the destination, at a speed of about mach 3, i could go faster, but then i would only miss my target. After a few seconds, i arrive at the destination, which is a cave, leading in to a big hill. I sense it''s mana a few hundred meters inside the cave. I begin to walk towards the monster. Which i can see now. It is a giant white ape like monster, it is currently eating on what i presume was a cow. It seems to have noticed me, because it have stopped eating, and is now looking at me. It jumps towards me, and after a nanosecond the monster has reached me. The ape is extending it''s hands towards me, and i do the same. We grasps each others hands, and the ape starts to press me down, but i do the same, just with more force. The ape is getting pressed down, and it''s screeching. The floor is getting cracked and i feel that the apes hand is breaking aswell. I kick the ape in the stomach, and it goes flying into the roof, making a huge hole, that lets the light get into the cave. I follow after, and i see that the ape landed in the forest a few hundred meters away. I land beside the ape, and see that it is dead. I create a sword made out of adamantium, and i cut off the apes head. Then 2 screens pop up.

So that was the last of it''s race, the race would have probablty been gone even if i didn''t do anything, because there was only one left, and if i got my biology right, it shouldn''t have managed to get an offspring. I take the head, and start flying towards the city again. When i am about 100 meters away from the city, i land behind a tree, and morph my wings back, and i then put on my shirt again, i also put the head into my inventory. I begin to walk towards the gate, and this time i didn''t have to pay nor touch the magic item. I walk towards the Guild, and when i am right in front of it, i take out the head of my inventory, and enter. I walk towards the receptionist that i talked to last time. I put the quest and the head on top the desk. She is quite shocked since she is staring blankly at both of the things. "D-Did you complete the request?!"(Big breasted onee-san) "Yes?" What has gotten her so agitated? "Then let me confirm it!"(Big breasted onee-san) "Sure?" She takes the quest and head, and walks into the backroom. After about 10 minutes she comes back holding a pouch which seems full, and just behind her is a buff-looking old man. "Hello, i am Bubal, and i am the Sub guild leader. Are you matthew?"(Bubal) "Yes i am." "Valenta here told me that you completed an S rank quest, is that right?"(Bubal) "Yes, it''s right." "Ok, then you are to be promoted to S rank, but we will need your guild card for that, so may i have it?"(Bubal) "Yes, here" I give the card to him, which then gives it to the receptionist Valenta. "If you need anything else, just ask Valenta."(Bubal) After saying that he leaves. "It will take a few minutes to upgrade your card into a mithril card, so please wait here. Oh, before that, here your reward for the quest."(Valenta) She says as she gives me the pouch, it is full of gold coins. I hang that on my waist as well. She then begins to walk away. When she comes back, she is holding a card that is silvery, with a little tinge of blue. Like my previous card, it has a feel of magic around it. I guess that is also the magic that was on my last card. "Here you go."(Valenta) "Thank you." "Will you take a quest now or wait?"(Valenta) "I will wait for a few days, and can you reccomend me a good inn." "Yes, there is the inn i am staying at, the golden horse, it is right down the street."(Valenta) "Thank, and if there is an S rank quest like the one i just did, can you notify me?" "Yes, of course."(Valenta) "Bye." "Bye."(Valenta) I walk out of the guild, and head towards the inn Valenta mentioned. I look at the sign which says Golden horse inn, with a golden painted horse with wings. The innis two stories high and about 20 meters wide. I go inside, and walk to the reception, where an old woman is sitting. "Hello, may i rentyour most expensive room for 1 month?" "Yes, that will be 40 silver coins."(Old woman) "Here." I give the coins to her, and she gives me the room key. "Your room is on the end, labeled room 20. food will be served between 5 and 6 pm, you don''t have to pay anything."(Old woman) I walk up the stairs, and look for my room. The door is made of polished wood, with nice details, such as flowers and trees. I unlock the door, and walk in. The room has 2 parts, one being the bedroom, the other being the living room, there is a small window that looks upon the street and watchtowers. I guess i will travel to the dwarven kingdom tomorrow. Aterna where is the dwarven kingdom?

Oh, that is close. Is that alright for the dwarves being so close to humans?
Yes, because there is a huge risk invading them because they are masters of enchanting, and even if they invade them it is pretty much impossible to succeed with the terrains in the mountain.
Ok. I lie down in the very much comfortable bed, and notice that the sun has gone down. Today has been pretty hectic. And i start fall asleep.

Chapter 5 Dwarf kingdom I open my eyes, and notice that it is morning. How long did i sleep Aterna?
You slept for about 10 hours, but as have you such a high stamina and stamina regeneration, you don''t really need to sleep.
Ok, i guess i will do it anyway because it''s relaxing. I am going to the dwarven kingdom today, guess i will notify Valenta of my departure. I wake up, and go down to eat. The food served is a kind of stew, Which is very delicous. I thank the old woman, and leave for the guild. When i get there Valenta is already there, working in the window. I walk over to her and ask her. "When do you eat breakfast?" "I get mine an hour before normal, because i got to job here. Why?"(Valenta) "I didn''t see you this morning, and i were one of the first to eat." "Ok. Are you accepting a quest?"(Valenta) "No, i am here to say that i am going to be away for today, so you don''t have to notify me of a quest today." "Ok. After a few seconds of flying, i am really close, so i slow down, so that i won''t miss the mountains. I land at the foot of the mountains and look at the giant rock formations. All of them are at least 10 000 meters high, which means all of them are higher than mt. everest. I look around the sides of the mountain hoping to find the entrance to the dwarven country, but even with my super eyes, i can''t even find a small crack. Aterna, how do i get inside?
There is an entrance hidden behind some bushes 100 meters to your north, that can lead you into the heart of the mountain, where the capital of the dwarven kingdom is located.
Ok, thanks Aterna. I look for the bushes, and when i see them, i notice they are really big. No wonder i couldn''t see the entrance. I push the bushes aside, and enter, i also make sure to put the bushes back to where they were. I also completely seal my mana inside my body, and make my body transparent. Ok, thanks. I begin to run at a really fast speed, and after a few seconds i can faintly see a yellow red-ish light in front of me. What i saw was the entrance to a big dome like thing, which i assume is the capital. I see the castle in the middle, and begin to fly towards the castle. I land before the entrance and sneak my way inside. The roof is really tall for dwarves, well this is their royal capital, so i guess i gotta be grand, and fabulous. Right in front of me is overly excessive big doors, which leads to the throne room, it is currently open so i can just barge in. I see a short man who looks like he is in his 40s, and he is wearing a red cape, a crown which is full of precious stone, and it''s made of what i think is adamantium, he is also wearing a lot of expensive looking clothes. I guess that is the king. They are currently talking so i learnt norse immediately(Norse is the spoken language of runes). It usually is, but this time they found an ancient artifact, in a ruin, that let''s the user completely conceal an unlimited number people, but it has a drawback, and that is the mana consumption. One person consumes 100 mana, and for every person concealed the amount of mana triple. Of course the humans don''t know that, so they are recklessly using it.
Well, that is kinda stupid of the humans. I slowly walk next to the king, making sure not to make any noise. I inhale as much as i can, and... i scream into the kings ear. "HELLO DWARF KING!!!" Well now to test out the iron sword. I find a big rock close by, and swing my sword horizontally. The sword slides through like a warm knife on butter, and comes out with only a few scratches. That is really effective. Ever since i got the enchanting skill, i''ve been feeling something weird in my pocket area, where my guild card is. I take out the guild card, and discover that the weird feeling is coming from the card. I look at it, and notice a faint text on the back of the card. At a closer inspection, i notice that it''s runes. It says ''changable text'', and ''slight obedience to the king of solisa''. Well, that is disappointing. I erase the second runes, and write unbreakable instead. Aterna did you know of the runes?

It is the giant city some kilometers behind the city you were just in, that city is called Esol by the way, and the capital is called Caule.
Ok. I look in the direction of the capital, and i can make out Esol, and just behind that i can barely see a city like thing. I spread my wings, and fly upwards, and stay there for a few seconds before i shoot forward towards the capital. Just as suspected, mach 3 is fast, but it will take a few minutes to get to the capital, so i take it up a notch, and fly at mach 20. This way, i should be able to get there a bit faster. Like i wanted, it only took a few seconds, and i am right above the capital. I slow down, and make myself invisible, and completely conceal my mana. Caule is like Esol, just that it is way bigger, and that it has a castle instead of a mansion, and that the walls are at least 20 meter tall. I look at the castle, and search for a way inside. I guess i will just enter from the main entrance. I fly towards the gate of the castle, and land before it, I walk unnoticed through the gates by the castle guards. I continue to walk unnoticed through the entrance and the doors to the throne hall. Like the dwarves castle, the doors are unnecessary big, and grand. Guess it''s a royalty thing. In the middle back of the room, is a throne covered in precious stone, and decorated with gold, and silver, and sitting upon it is a middleaged man, with colorful clothes, and has a lot of golden rings on. On top of his head is a crown made of gold, and decorated with precious stones. The man which i presume is the king is talking with an old man in robes, and a middleaged man in really fancy armor. I think that is a mage, and a knight. "Is the troops good to go?"(King) "Yes my lord"(Knight) "Is the artifact ready aswell?"(King) "Yes my lord"(Mage) "Then we are marching at the crack of dawn."(King) "Yes my lord."(Mage)(Knight) They say simultaneously. Thanks. I walk through the halls, and walk past a few servants. I reach the study and notice that it is locked, and i then teleport inside to see 2 people talking. "Father, how are we going to deal with the princess?(Young man) "It will work out Summol."(Middleaged man) "If you say so father."(Summol) "Don''t worry, you will marry princess Aurora, and become king."(Duke) "Yes father."(Summol) The 2 people talking is a middleaged man, and young man. I presume those two are the duke and his son. Aterna, is there a way to knock them out without alarming other people or hurting them?
Yes master. You can release a massive amount of mana in their vicinity, which will make their senses become confused, and after a while, pass out. And if you it with more mana and even longer you can kill them.
My goal isn''t to kill them, it''s just to knock them out to do a few things. I begin to pour about 20 000 mana around their bodies, and do that until they finally collapse. I turn visible again, and i make 2 necklaces, and write runes on both of them, saying ''Obedience to Matthew Hill'' and ''Can only be taken off by Matthew Hill.'' After finishing writing the runes, i lift their heads up and put the necklaces on them both. After doing that i make smelling salts to wake them up. After waking up, both of them have a blank look in their eyes, and both of them say at the same time. Chapter 7 The mansion A month quickly passed, and during that time, Matt earned a lot of money. He earned that money by doing the quests Valenta came with, and other odd jobs, we also became closer because of that. As Matt wanted, the duke and his son broke off the engagement. Apparently the royal house was in disorder because of that. The princess hasn''t been engaged to another man, but instead they decided to make her the monarch regardless of who she marries. But that doesn''t mean there hasn''t been a lot proposals. The duke house is working as normal, of course excluding the fact that they broke off the engagement. I have decided to purchase a mansion, because that sounds more convenient. I also went up 50 levels during the quests i accepted. I''m walking to the guild, for directions to where i can purchase a house. I walk inside, and walk over to Aterna. "Why do you live in the inn anyway?" "That is because my hometown is a small village a few kilometers away, and i don''t have enough money to buy a house, so i live in the inn because it''s convenient."(Valenta) "Well, that is true. Is there a place i can buy a house or something like that?" "Yes, there is. It''s located a few buildings up, and has a sign with a house on it."(Valenta) "Ok, thanks. Bye." "Goodbye."(Valenta) I leave and walk towards the place Valenta specified. After walking a minute or two, i can see it. It is a medium sized building made of wood. I walk inside, and i am met with a counter, and behind it is a handsome young man, about 16 or so. "Hello, how may i help you?"(Young man) He asks in a polite tone. "Hello, i am here to buy a house." "Yes, please follow me."(Young man) He begins to walk towards a door, and i follow. We come into a business like room, with couches and chairs. "Please sit down, my boss will come soon. In the meanwhile please have some tea."(Young man) He says, and takes a cup and pours tea into it. "If there is anything else, please call me with the bell."(Young man) He says pointing to a bell. "Here they are."(Crass) He says that and gives me the catalogues. After going through a few hundred houses, i find a house or rather mansion that fits my needs. It is 2000 square meters, and has a garden with a little pond. It is two stories tall and like i wanted it has a big master bedroom, and 4 normal bedrooms. It has a study, and a library, and it also have a living room. And what i am most excited about is the bath, the bath is as big as my room in the inn, and the water can be warmed by magic. It costs 4 platinum coins, and it is half as big as the mansion in the middle of the city. It is located near the adventurer guild, and the inn i was staying at. "This is the house i want." I say pointing to the one that fits my needs. "Ah, that one. It is the most expensive house available. Is there any furniture that you may want?"(Crass) "Yes, i want you to fully furnish the house, and fill the library with books, you can use up to 1 platinum coin." "Yes, then if you would please sign these papers, and give me the money."(Crass) He gives me a few documents and a pen, and i give him the money. On the document it basically says that i am the owner, and take full responsibility for any damage done to the property. I sign and give the papers back to Crass. "Here." "Thank you. Then the furniture and books will be placed by tomorrow. Goodbye."(Crass) He gives me the keys to the house, and says goodbye. "Bye." I leave and walk towards my new house. The foundation is made of solid rock, and the support beams are also made of stone, but everything else is made of wood. I walk inside and i am met with stairs infront of me, and to the left and right of me is two hallways that extend to the end of the house. To the left, right and upper right is bedrooms. At the end of the right hallway is a study, and at the end of the hallway on my left is the kitchen, and just before that is the library. And in the garden is a pond.Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. I walk up the stairs, and i come to what i presume is the living room. There is a room to the left and that is the master bedroom, which will be my bedroom, and to the right is another bedroom, which makes it now 4 normal bedrooms. And at the end of the hallway to the right is the bath, which is really big. I decide to walk back to the inn, because right now the house doesn''t have beds or furniture. During the walk back, i buy a few chicken spears, and water. I don''t really need to drink water or eat, because i have found out a way to nourish myself using mana, but i do it anyway because i enjoy eating, and it passes time when i don''t really have anything else to do. The sun is starting to go down, and the vendors are starting to pack up their stuff and leave. I get to the inn, and hear loud voices inside. It''s middleaged men and old men, who come here to drink mead and eat the delicous food. In the corner i see Valenta eating a soup of some kind and drinking mead. I walk over to her. "Hi." She stops eating and look up at me. "Hello."(Valenta) "Can i sit?" I ask her. "Yes, of course."(Valenta) "Thank you." I sit down and thank her. I order mead and the same soup Valenta is having. "So, i have bought a house, and i wondered if you want to live there with me. Do you want to?" "Eh..."(Valenta) She was quite suprised by my question, because she has stopped eating, and is now looking at me without saying anything. "What do you mean by that?"(Valenta) "It means that i a few rooms available and i wondered if you want to live there." "I... don''t know"(Valenta) "The house is as close to the guild as the golden horse, and there is a giant bath. You don''t have to pay anything either." "Are you sure? I mean, i won''t be a nuisance?"(Valenta) "Yeah, i''m sure, and you would never be a nuisance." "Then i will take you up on your offer."(Valenta) "But there is one thing. There won''t be any furniture until tomorrow." "That is okay. The next morning, i walk to my new house, and enter. It has been furnished, and the library has been fully stocked with books ranging from cooking to martial arts. The beds in all the bedrooms are canopy, and the bed in the master bedroom is 5x5 meters and it also is a canopy bed. I don''t really have anything else to do, so i guess i will take a few quests while i wait for Valenta. I walk to guild, and it only took about 5 minutes which is shorter than from the golden horse. I enter and don''t see Valenta in the reception. She must be in the backroom or something like that. I walk to the wall with quests, and look over them. Some are things like finding a cat which is for F-rank, and there also is some like escorting a merchant to another city or the capital. I choose an extermination quest. An extermination quest is killing a monster or an animal.

This will be easy. I take the quest off the wall, and bring it to one of the ladies in the window. I show her my card to confirm that i can accept the quest, and i take the sheet and card when i she has checked. I walk out of the city, and walk into the forest a couple hundred meters. I confirm that there is no one around me, and i then feel after the mana of the wolves. After a few minutes, i feel a lot of mana sources to the east, in a little clearing. I conceal my mana and teleport a little away form the sources. I land under a tree at the edge of the forest bordering towards the clearing. In the clearing is at least a thousand wolves. Well that is a lot. How am i going to take care of them? What should i do? I gotta use an AOE attack but i don''t know what to do. Ah, i can do that. I take of my shirt, and morph wings onto my back, and turn invisible. I fly up, to about 500 meters above the wolves, and i prepare myself. I close my eyes and imagine a large fireball, and i start to feel a little bit of heat on my hand, and i start to pour mana into it. I open my eyes and at my palm is a fireball with a diameter of 50 cm. I continue pouring mana into it, and it starts getting larger. When i decide to stop, i had poured around 10 000 mana into it, and the diameter is now 1 kilometer. Normally my hand should have been burnt, but since i am really absurd, i only feel as if i have my hand close to a candle. I start preparing to attack the wolves, and i fling the giant fireball towards the ground. The impact didn''t really cause an explosion, but it destroyed the ground and charred a few thousand trees, and it also created a crater with a diameter of about 1,5 kilometers. The ball must have compressed and flattened out, and done more damage. Of course, it also killed all the wolves. I release my invisibility, and start to descend towards the middle of the crater i created. I land, and all around me is rocks, and at the edge of the crater is some charred bodies of the wolves. The bodies of the wolves in the middle must have been completely destroyed, not leaving behind an intact body part. I walk to the closest, and take the head of the wolf, which is completely black. I take the head and fly towards the city, and return the quest. The lady at the window was quite suprised by the charred head, but still gave me the reward. After that i did a few more quests like transporting an item to the capital(they were very suprised at my speed), and locate a few runaway cows(also done very easily). At the end i earned 15 gold coins 50 silver coins. After finishing the last quest, i found Valenta and she was done with her work so she was ready go. We are walking to the inn to pick up her things, and while walking we are talking about the quests i did today(of course leaving out the first one, and not telling fully about the ones where i used teleportation). When we got her things we continue walking towards the house, and it only took 2 minutes to get there. She was quite shocked seeing the house. "It''s really big..."(Valenta) "Yeah it is. Come on let''s go." I lead her in, and show her around the house. "Which bedroom do you want?" "Can i have the one on the second floor?"(Valenta) "Yeah, sure." We put her things in the room, and she goes to bed, and i do aswell because the sun is setting. Chapter 8 Wine I roll over in the massive bed, and notice the morning light flowing through the windows, and i decide to get dressed, and start my day. I walk out of my room, and notice a plate with food, and a note on one of the tables. The note says ''I made use of your kitchen, and made some breakfast. I begin investigating the material of the house, and decide what to write on them. I decide to write ''inflammable'', ''unbreakable'' and ''unrottable'' on the wooden parts of the house, and ''unbreakable'' on the stone parts. I make 20 small statues made of adamantium, that look like garden gnomes, and give them small swords that fits with their size, and then i write ''attack invader'', ''unbreakable'', ''super strength'' and ''invisibility'' on them to make them a little OP. I place them along the wall, and finish enchanting them to make them invisible to the naked eye. There, finished! Now what am I going to do? I haven''t seen Stultus since I first met, so i guess I will visit him. I teleport outside the gate of the capital, and while walking to the castle i sightsee and buy a few snacks like pretzels and icecream. When i am close to the castle walls, i see two guards at there, and i then walk into an alley. I make an adamantium ring, and i enchant it. It says ''Whoever touches this ring, will obey the wearer,'' and ''can only be used by Matthew Hill.'' I put on the ring, and walk towards the gate. The guards see me coming towards them, and become slightly vigilant. "Halt!"(Guard 1) The guards come towards me when i am close to the gate. "State your business."(Guard 2) The other Guard then speaks. They speak in turns, almost like creepy twins. "I don''t really have any business, i just wanna meet the king and maybe the princess." I pour magic onto the crest rune, and what shows up is a golden sword surrounded by sunlight. "With this, i can go around the castle?" "Yes lord. But you can only go a few places, like the garden, and the quarters for the servants. The non essential places."(Guard 2) "Ok, when i leave, pretend as nothing happened, and keep doing what ever you are supposed to do." "Yes lord."(Guard 1+2) After they say that, i walk past them and enter the inner walls of the castle. Like i wanted, they went back to do what they doing, and are acting as if everything is normal. Behind the first wall is another wall which is again guarded by two guards. Instead of messing around with them, i touch them with the ring, just to be on the safe side. I just order them to act the same when i leave, and walk through the gate. I have now arrived at a garden like place. It''s filled with plants and grass, and i can see an arena a little bit away, from there i can hear sounds of swords hitting eachother. I continue walking, and arrive at the entrance to the castle. The castle is circular, with two floors, and the inner walls has a guard tower every few 100 meters.There is no one guarding the entrance, but there are occasional patrols going around the garden. I enter the castle, and in front of me is the throne hall. To the left of me, is the entrance to the quarters for the servants, knights, mages and soldiers. The doors to the throne hall is open, and i can see the king slumped down on the throne talking to a knight. Looks like he hasn''t noticed me yet, or else he would have been frightened and called for the guards or something like that. I do the same to these guards as the other guards, and use the ring on them. I order to them to close the doors after i walk in, and i also order them to act normal. I walk in and the doors begin to close, the knight and the king notices me, and i can see the shocked face on the king, the knight is only confused. "Who are you, and why are you in here?"(Knight) Looks like he hasn''t noticed the look on the kings face. "Me?, i''m Matthew. Is the king alright? He looks kinda tired." The doors is now closed fully, and the knight notices the kings expression, and he shows concern for him, and becomes even more vigilant agains me. Ok. I wait for the king and the princess to be knocked out, and then i act like i also was knocked out. After a minute or two, i could see 5 men clothed entering through the wall, and checking if all of us is knocked out. I walk through the hole the kidnappers made, and when i am on the other side, i am in the room of a servant, and on the ground close to the wall is a dead old man wearing butler like clothes. The kidnappers are leaving, and checking if the hallway is clear. When they have confirmed that there is no one in the hallway, they sneak carefully through the quarters for the servants, and the like. I follow them walking completely normal, and not worrying of being found out. We come out of the castle after a minute, and there are no guards nor soldiers in sight. Guess that nephew must have a lot of power. They whisper with eachother, and after they finish, they walk slowly towards the inner walls. When they get there, they help eachother vault over the 10 meter tall wall. The one who is carrying the princess is going first, and he has the help of two persons. When the first of them is over the wall, they throw down rope for the others to climb up. When all of them is over the wall, i morph wings onto my back, and fly over the wall. They are going to go over the walls, in between 2 watch towers. They climb over just like the way they did on the other wall, and i fly over as well. On the other side of the wall is a carriage, and 6 of them go inside the carriage, and 2 of them sits upfront to control the horses. All of them take of the black clothes, and hide the princess, under a board on the floor of the carriage. I fly just above them, and follow them as they travel through the streets. After about 30 minutes they arrive at an old building in the outskirts of the capital. All of them exit the carriage, and two people, on man and one woman come out of the building to help them. they talk a little bit of how it went, and then they take the princess inside the building. I guess it''s time for me to step in. I erase the silencing rune, and make myself visible again, and i float down to the entrance and enter. I don''t really want to kill her, but i guess i have to, at least i can give her a quick death. I make an adamantium sword, and cut her head off before she could react. The fourthperson is a man in his twenties, and he is attacking me with his bare hands. Guess he is a martial artist. I take the sword and cut him in two. The ones not attacking is getting shocked. The last person attacking me directly is another middleaged man, but he is really huge. He is using a sword and a shield to attack me. I put the sword in my inventory, and rip his shield open, and the man is scared as well as shocked. The man attacks me with the sword, and i redirect the sword to stab him in the chest. He falls down, and dies almost immediately as the sword hit his heart. The ones who is staying back, is ranged fighters, and all of them fires all they got towards me. The impact creates an explosion around me, that didn''t affect the kidnappers or the princess. "D-Did we get him?"(Kidnapper) They are saying a flag raising thing. "Nah, you didn''t get me." The places he said go search is nowhere near where the base was. I land on the ground, and the people there notice me. The soldiers circle around me with their spears pointing towards me. "Here you go."(Old man) He gives me the bottles. "Thanks." I walk out of the brewery, and continue walking out of the city. When i have gotten a short distance away from the entrance, i put the bottles in my inventory, and morph wings onto my back. I fly up into the air and travel towards Esol, and as expected it only took a few seconds. I walk through the gate, and walk towards my house. At the entrance i meet Valenta. "Hi." "Hi."(Valenta) "Wanna have some wine?" "Wine? Isn''t that expensive?"(Valenta) "Not for me." "Well, i will take you up on that offer."(Valenta) We walk up into the living room on the second floor, and i take the wine bottles out of my inventory when Valenta isn''t looking. I also make two wine glasses when she isn''t looking. I open the first bottle, and pour to both glasses, and give Valenta one of the glasses. "Thank you."(Valenta) I take a glass for my self, and taste. It tastes like fruits, and it smells sweet. While i am only on my first sip, Valenta has already come to the second glass. We continue drinking like that for an hour or two, and Valenta has come to her 5 glass, and i only 2. She is starting to look drunk, and i am considering stopping her. "Did yuu kno dat i havnt been dis close to a man other dan my fader?"(Valenta) "No i didn''t know that." Luckily i can''t get drunk from my immunity skill. Well that was suprising. I can''t let her just lay here, so i guess i will carry her to her bed. I lift her up in a princess carry, and move towards he bedroom. I open the door, and put her in the bed. I consider taking off her clothes, but decides against it in the end. I pull the blanket over her. Chapter 9 Dragon I walk out of Valenta''s bedroom, and clean up the mess i left in the livingroom. I didn''t realize Valenta spilled this much wine on the floor. In front of me is a small pool of wine, and there is even more wine dripping from the table. I make a cloth rag, and a water bucket, and dip the rag in the bucket to wet it, and wipe the wine that spilled. After doing that, i throw the glasses, wine bottles, the wet rag now full of wine and the water bucket into my inventory. Since it''s getting late, i am getting kinda tired, so i will turn in for the night. I go to my bedroom, undress, and jump onto the bed. I pull the blanket over me, and let the forces of sleep take me.
Valenta POV In the morning I wake up to have a throbbing pain in my head, and i aslo feel very dizzy. What happened last night? Last thing i remember is a mouth, and then it goes blank. Ah, right. I and Matthew was drinking wine, and i may have drunk a few too many glasses, and then we talked a bit, and then i kissed him! Oh no! What should i do?! After showing him that shameful side off me, i can''t face him anymore! I don''t have time to think about that now. I slip out of bed, and notice that my clothes still on. How was i lying in my bed anyway? Matthew must have carried me. I go to the bath to ready myself for the day. I first take off my clothes, and warm the water with my magic, and jump into the water. The bath is a giant room, with the bath itself taking about 80% of the room. The water is quite deep, with the water reaching my shoulders when i sit. On the part of the room that is not water, is racks where you can put your clothes, dry yourself up. After being in the water for about half an hour, i get out off the water, and dry myself. I go to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. I eat bread, and drink water. After eating i clean up after myself, i leave to go to work. The headache and dizziness i had this morning is gone, but i am still tired, even though i slept for a while. I walk to the guild, and go inside. There are a few people already working, and there is also a few adventurers already taking quests, or returning them from yesterday or today. I walk to the backroom, and change to my working uniform. I talk to a few colleagues about any quests that fits what Matthew asked me to bring to him, but there is none right now. I walk to the reception, and stand behind the desk. I am going to work there for about 2 hours, and have a 30 minute break, and then work again for 3 hours, then have another 30 minute break, then work another 2 hours. That is a normal day of working for me. My work mainly consists of approving quests for adventurers, checking and giving rewards to a finished quest, and a few times a month, helping people register as adventurers. Today is that rare moment someone comes to register as an adventurer. "Hello how may i help you?" "Ah, hello. I wish to register as an adventurer, is that possible?"(Young man) "Yes, to register you must fill out this form, and drip a few blood drops on the specified area." I take a pen, the register form, and a small knife from a drawer built into the desk. I give him the things, and he walks to a table with a chair in front off, and sits down to write. After a minute or two i can see him pricking himself with the knife, and dripping blood onto the form. I can see him making a grimace. After doing that, he puts the finger he pricked inside his mouth to stop it from bleeding anymore. He takes the form, the knife and the pen and comes back to the reception again. "Here you go."(Young man) he gives me the things, and i put the pen and the knife back into the drawer again, and hold the form. "Then i will process this, but it will take a few minutes, so please wait here." "Ok."(Young man) I go to the backroom, and look at the form. I take an unused guildcard, and pour mana onto the it, and it starts shining, and i put the paper square i cut out on the front of the card, and as i did that, the paper square gets absorbed by the metal, and after a few seconds it stops shining. I take the card, and write the information onto it. After doing that i take a random D-rank quest which wants the adventurer to hunt 10 boars, and take them back to the guild. It is a quest requested by a restaurant in town. i take the things, and walk back to the reception. When i get back he also comes towards the reception. "Here is your guild card, with it you no longer have to pay tax as you enter a town, and you don''t have to touch the crystal ball. And here is the quest to upgrade you to D-rank. if you don''t want to do it you don''t have to." "Okay, thanks."(Luven) He takes the card and quest, then he walks out of the guild. After standing behind the desk for 3 hours i finally have a break. During this break i usually eat lunch, and relax in the backroom. I also ask after S-rank quests that i can take to Matthew, and this time there actually is one. It contains killing a dragon, which is an S-rank monster. As there are guild ranks, there also is monster ranks, weapon ranks and skill ranks, just like guild ranks it goes from F to S-rank, and F-rank being the lowest. The dragon has left its island, and it is a danger to the people, so the city lord made a quest for S-ranks to kill it. I can''t give it to him now because the break is over, but hopefully he comes soon. After standing behind the desk for about 30 minutes, the new adventurer, Luven came back with his quest. He sees me, and walks over to me while dragging a large cloth bag. "Here, the quest, and the boars."(Luven) He gives me the quest, and drags the bag on top off the desk. I check inside, and confirm that it is 10 boars, and they are in optimal condition. "Please give me your guild card aswell." He hands me the card, and i say. "Please wait here for a few minutes, i will update your guild card. "Okay."(Luven) I take the bag full of boars, and the guild card, and walk to the backroom. The bag is heavy, so i take a little time dragging it to the area where spoils of quests will be. After dragging the bag, i take the guild card, and edit to make him D-rank, and i give him 100 credibility. I walk back to the reception, and give him the guild card. "Here you go, you are now D-rank." "Thank you."(Luven) When he finishes saying that, he walks away. When he walked away, i see Matthew entering the guild, and looking around. When i see him i blush, and he sees me, and walks over. I take the S-rank quest and walk to the main hall where Matthew is. "Hello."(Matthew) "H-Hello." I can feel myself blushing, agh, i am so embarrassed! I take the quest, and give it to him. "H-Here. An S-rank quest." "Thanks Valenta."(Matthew) He says that, and begins to leave. "Matthew!" I ask after him. "Yes?"(Matthew) He turns around, and walks back to me. "When i come back from work... can we talk?" He knows what i am talking about. "Yeah, sure."(Matthew) He says that and leaves. I feel kinda relieved in a way. I walk back to the desk, and continue working.

Well that will be easy, but the problem is Valenta... How will i deal with it? Rather, what is my feelings towards her? I like her definately, but do i love her? Well whatever, What happens, happens. I walk out of the city, and send a mana pulse to search for the dragon. It acts like sonar, and comes back when it hits something. The dragon is located north-east, close to the mountain. Instead of morphing wings onto my back, and taking of my shirt all the time, i would rather run. It may be a bit slower, but it will get me there in a few minutes. I start running, and when there are trees in the way, and i don''t want to bother going to the side, i just punch through the stem instead. As a result, there is a trail of broken trees leading from Esol to the mountains. After running for 5 minutes at a speed of mach 6, I start slowing down, not to run into one of the mountains. I stop at the foot of a mountain, and feel that the dragon''s mana is at the summit of the mountain. It does not appear to have noticed me yet, but he will soon. I jump up the mountain, and see the colossal lizard in all it''s sleeping glory. It''s at least twice as big as my house, and it''s scales is dark red, with some white spots here and there. Looks like he hasn''t noticed me yet, or he doesn''t care about me. Either way, let''s get it''s attention. "HEY, LIZARD!!" I scream loud enough to be heard a few kilometers away. The reward is 50 platinum coins, and you can request something of the king of Qato. The last day you can register is the day before the tournament, so i only have till tomorrow. Instead of doing any quests, i walk home to tell Valenta that i am going to participate. I walk home, and look for Valenta. She is currently in the bath. The castle is square here instead of circular like in Solisa, and the castle here is slightly bigger. There are three zones in the capital, the first one being the royal zone, the second one being the noble zone, and the last one is the commoner zone. The royal zone is the smallest with it only being the castle, the ones living there is the royal family. The noble zone is slightly bigger, which of course where only nobles, high ranking officials, and people that the king has allowed to live there, are allowed to live there. The commoner zone is the biggest zone, and the ones who live there are the poor, and shops. Solisa got a similar system, but the noble zone is bigger. After waiting for about 30 minutes, it''s finally my turn. The soldier turns towards me, and says. "Do you have any kind of guild card?"(Soldier) He asks me. "Yes i have an adventurer card." I take the card and show it to him." "An S-rank adventurer from Solisa? Are you here for the tournament?"(Soldier) Looks like it isn''t usual for S-rank adventurer from another country to be here. "Yes i am." "Okay, then you may pass."(Soldier) I walk through the gate, and continue walking towards the adventurer guild, because that is where the registration is taking place. How come i could pass with another country''s adventurer card Aterna?
That is because there is only one adventurer guild, but there are 3 guildmasters. One for each country. The guildmasters can''t be ordered by the king of any country. The enchanted cards were only used in Solisa, because if a guildmaster of another country found out it would be bad for them. The only reason the guildmaster of Solisa helped the king, was because he would get a lot of money.
That is good to know. I walk for a few minutes, and arrive at the guild. It is right next to the wall to the noble zone. I walk inside, and see a line going towards the reception. I also stand in line. After waiting about 10 minutes, it is my turn. There has come people behind me, so it''s just as long. The receptionist is a young man, and he asks me. "Are you here to register for the tournament?"(Young man) "Yes i am." "Then can you please tell me your name?"(Young man) "Yes, it''s Matthew Hill." As he heard that, he writes something on a piece of paper. He gives it to me, and what is written there is, my name, the number 3, and the number 327. I look towards the young man for clarification, and looks like he was going to explain any way. "The sole number, is when you are going to fight, and the large number is your tag number. The tournament starts contestants from number 1 fighting in a battle royale, and when there are 5 people left, it ends. The same happens with the rest of the contestants. It starts 08:00 am, and it ends 03:00 pm. The next day the matches continues from where it left of. The Arena is outside the city."(Young man) "Thanks." I leave, and decide what i am going to do till the tournament starts. I decide on not doing anything, and just sleep until it starts. I put the paper i got into my inventory. I find an abandoned shack in the slums, and go inside and lay down, and turn invisible. I also conceal my mana. Recently i found out that i don''t need food if i feed myself mana. Just behind the city is a large circular building made of stone. The length is about 200 meters, and the height is 30 meter-ish. I see a sign that says ''All participants, go this way.'' with and arrow point towards an entrance. The entrance has a line that extends a good 10 meters outside the gate thing. Before getting there i pull out the paper i got 2 days ago, and stand in line too. I stand there about 10 minutes until it''s my turn. There is a desk with an old man inside. He says. "Show me your registration paper."(Old man) "Sure." I give it to him. "Walk down the hall to your right, and when you can see the entrance to the fighting ring, look for a door labeled 3.5. You will get notified when it''s your turn."(Old man) He says as he hands me the paper back. "Thanks." I walk the way he said, and after walking a bit, i could hear a lot of people talking. I could soon see the entrance to the fighting ring. There were a lot of people sitting in the seats, but it wasn''t completely filled yet. In the middle of the seating area is a raised platform, with stone fences, and expensive looking furniture. I think that is the royal viewing box. The seating area is 50 meter-ish long on each end, so it is 100 meter long together. In the middle is the fightingstage, that is made of squared sandstone. The stage is 50 meters long, and there are 2 entrances, with a walkway to the stage. I begin to look after the door with the number 3.5, and see doors with the numbers 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 and 4.5. They are all 10 meters apart from eachother. I walk into the room with the number 3.5, and inside there already is about 60 people. Some of them look at me when i walk in, but turns away after looking at me a little bit. I walk over to a wall, and lean on it. The room is 30 meters long, and in the corner of the roof is quartz panel, that has a picture of the arena. I guess that is a magic item. After waiting for about 30 minutes, there has come about 10 more people. On the magic item, there is a man that is walking to the middle of the stage of the fighting ring. He is wearing formal wear, and is holding a long trumpet. When he reached the middle, he begins blowing in the trumpet, which creates a loud sound. "Welcome his majesty the king!"(Announcer) When he says that, a middleaged man walks into view in the royal viewing box, and everyone in the arena stands up, and waits for the king. "Thank you. We are gathered here for the glorious event, where honorable warriors put their wellbeing on the line, to find the strongest, and test their skills. May you enjoy yourselves, and may the strongest warrior win!"(King) After he says that he sits down, and everyone claps, and cheers. After everyone has seated themselves again, the announcer says loudly. "Contestants from number 1 come forth."(Announcer) After he says that, he walks of the stage, and the contestants start coming. When every fighter from number 1 has arrived, the announcer once again says. "The rules are simple, you fall off the stage, you are disqualified. You are knocked out, you are disqualified. If you kill someone, you are disqualified. The last 5 people standing can continue. The match starts in 3... 2... 1..."(Announcer) When he says start, every contestant tensed up, and the ones in the middle starts fighting eachother, while the outer doesn''t fight as much. There was about 150 people at the start, and now barely a minute has passed, and the number has gone down to 120. That just comes to show that are some strong people... or maybe there are alot of weak people. I hope for the first option. I don''t want to bother watching because i''m only interested in fighting myself, and the ones who win. In only about 10 minutes, the number has been dragged down to 9 people. The ones left are the strongest of that group. I checked them with analyze, and none of them are able to actually hurt me, but they are superhuman to normal people, because they have stats in the thousands, whereas normal soldiers only have it in the hundreds. There is a few magicians there that has more mana than strength, and there is also a few magic swordsmen. Magic swordsmen usually use mana to support and/or strengthen themselves. While i was thinking of that, the battle royale has finished. The ones still standing is mostly swordsmen, but there is 2 magic swordsmen there too. Good magic swordsmen are really strong, but they are also very rare, because to be good you have to have talent in both swordfighting, and magic. There is also the problem about teachers, so only about 1 in 10 000 are able to become really strong that way. That is what i''ve heard anyways. The next one went about the same. People got knocked out, few people left, and 5 people win. This group''s winners has slightly worse stats than the previous one, but whatever, none of them are going to win this thing anyway. Well it''s my turn now, so all of the people in the room, began walking out, which caused that there was a lot of people around the door, because the door is so small that only 1 can go through at once. I thought this was going to happen so i stayed still, and only went over when i could go through. As a result of that i am one of the last people to reach the stage. But whatever. I''m going to have fun toying with them. Chapter 11 Rewards I''m near the edge of the stage, and close to me is 5 people, and one of them seems to have been glaring at me since i walked onto the stage. The man staring at me looks to be around 20 years old, and has blonde short hair. He is medium height, and slim but also mucular. He has a pretty handsome face, and is wearing expensive clothes. He is wearing a sword around his waist, which suggests he is a swordsman. But he is releasing a lot of mana for a swordsman. My guess is that he is a magic swordsman. The announcer is currently announcing the rules, and is almost finished. "...The last 5 people standing can continue. The match starts in 3... 2... 1... start."(Announcer) When he says that, the guy that has been staring at me, leaps towards me with his sword drawn. When he is about to slash downwards i step to the side, and dodge his attack. He attacks again, but this time horizontal. I, again dodge the attack easily by jumping up and landing behind him. "Why are you going after me? You had a guy that was closer to you than me, and he seemed pretty easy to beat too." He turns around, and snorts. "You don''t have the right to know that."(Blonde guy) He says while wearing a mocking smile. He continue to slash after me, and i continue dodging. While we were playing around, the number of people still standing drops at a decent rate. "I''m bored. So i will end it now." I say that, and stops the incoming blade, which shocks the blonde guy. "What?! Agh!"(Blonde guy) I punch him in the stomach just hard enough to knock him out. He falls down, and i catch him. I drag him over to the edge, and throw him over. I look at the people left, and it''s only about 60 people left. I look for people to fight, and find someone who looks available. That person is a magician it seems, and he just deafeated an opponent. The magician is about 25 years old, with very little muscles, he also uses glasses. I walk over to him, and he seems to notice me as i am heading straight to him. He looks at me, and says. "Another challenger? The outcome is already clear."(Magician) I say nothing to that, and wait for him to attack me. He attacks with ice arrows, and when they are about to reach me, i dodge by stepping to the side. "You dodged that by luck, but will that happen twice in a row?"(Magician) I don''t say anything now either but i smile. "Why are you smiling? You are going to be defeated now."(Magician) He pushes his glasses up. He makes even more arrows now, and fires them at me again. When they come close to me i dodge them by going to the side, and back, to avoid being hit. "Why can''t you just be hit, and fall unconscious like all of them have done so far?!"(Magician) He is starting to get angry, and he makes even more arrows. There are now around 20 arrows now, and i didn''t let even one of them hit me. He is grinding his teeth, and is looking very angry. If i don''t deal with him soon, he will just become angrier and become loud, and i hate when people are loud for no real reason. I guess i will just defeat him and move on to another person. "I''m gonna deal with you now so stay quiet." Before he could process what i said, i had moved from where i stood, to stand infront of him and punch him hard enough in the stomach to make him collapse. I let him collapse, and step back. Where i stood is covered with holes that go about 30cm''s down, and there are about 50 holes. When he was becoming angry, he couldn''t control his strength very good. I look around and notice that there are even less people left standing, about 30 or so. I go around messing with people like that until there is only 5 people left. The 5 people left is 3 swordsmen, 1 magician and me. We walk off the stage,and walk over to the place where the other contestants that also have finished battling stands. Now there is only one group left, and the winners there are nothing special. That group also walk over to us, and the announcer says."These 20 people will compete in the 1vs1 stage. Can every contestant draw a paper slip from this box."(Announcer) He says that as 2 servants push a trolley, and on top of it is a box with a hole large enough for a hand. We walk over when the trolley stops, and form a line. I am around the middle. It takes around 5 minutes till it''s my turn, and i draw a paper slip. The number 8 is written on it. "The number written on the paper slip is just to indicate when you are going to be fighting, and who. For example if you number 1 then you are going to fight against number 2, and you are going to fight first."(Announcer) Since i am number 8 that means i am going to be fighting against number 7, and it seems to be a swordsman. The broken stone slabs on the stage is replaced and the first 2 walk onto the stage. The 2 contestants stand opposite to each other. Both of them are swordsmen it seems, and there isn''t that much of an age gap. The announcer starts speaking again. "The rules are the same, You kill your opponent, you are disqualified. You get knocked unconscious, you are out. You fall out of the ring, you are out. The match starts in 3... 2... 1... start!"(Announcer) Both of them start attacking each other, and they go on to attack and defend alternately. They are pretty much equally strong. They go on like that for about 10 minutes, and one of them seems to become more tired than the other. After a few more minutes pass, the one that was more tired get''s beaten. The defeated contestant gets carried out, and next two walk up. This time it''s a little different matchup, it''s a magician against a swordsman, and the magician is a woman. The woman is 33 years old, but she looks like she is about 20-25 years old. That is because she has much more mana than a regular person, and mana is linked to a beings lifespan. A person can live to 60-80 years whatever amount of mana they have, and when they come to 100 and above, 100 is worth 1 year. So someone with 100 000 mana can live to about 1000 years. That woman has about 10 000 mana. She is also married so i''m not interested in her. The swordsman is nothing special, he is 30 years old, has about 2000 strength, and his sword mastery is on level 20. The battle starts and as i expected the woman defeats him in about 10 seconds. The man attacked first, but since they were not close together he had to move closer, and the woman started shooting things like fire arrows at him to keep him at a distance while she was power up an attack. The attack she was powering up was a beam, and when the man got hit by it, he got thrown out of the stage. The next match wasn''t that interesting, the contestants were 2 magic swordsmen, and one of them one easily won. I''m going to be fighting next. I begin walking onto the stage, and i can see my opponent, it''s a man. The man is a magic swordsman it seems. He is level 132, and has about 5000 mana, and 3000 strength. He is 87 years old, but he seems to be about 40 years old. He is wearing expensive armor that have been enchanted with things like ''lighten'' and ''strengthen''. He seems to be an S-rank adventurer from Qato. When the announcer start speaking, he readies himself. "2... 1... start!"(Announcer) When the match starts, the man attacks me right away, and starts slashing towards me. I dodge the attacks by going to the sides when he attacks, and after doing that for a bit, i catch his sword when he slashed towards me. "What?!"(Man) The people watcing were also suprised a bit. The man tries to pull the sword towards himself, but i don''t let him. "Let go!"(Man) He says as he tries to pull the sword. "Okay." I do as he asked, and let his sword go, but he was pulling so hard that he fell over when i released it. He stands up quickly, and gets into a stance again. "I''m gonna stop messing with you." I say that and walk towards him. When i get in his range, he attacks, but i before it hits me, i move behind him so fast that he couldn''t see me. When he couldn''t see me anymore, he gets suprised, and becomes even more vigilant. I chop him in the neck with just enough force to knock him out. The announcer announces that i won, and i walk off the stage. Rest of the matches weren''t something i was that interested in, and the tournament was done for today, when the last match of the round finished. Now there is only 10 people left. The matches start tomorrow at 08:00 am and end when the semifinals is concluded, and the next day is the finals. All of the spectators leave, and the contestants also leave. I begin walking towards the city, and enter. I begin looking for an inn. I find an inn after looking around for a bit. It''s called Water horse inn. I walk in, and go towards the reception. "Hi i would like to stay here for 2 nights in you most expensive room." I say that to the old man standing behind the reception. "Okay, that will be 20 silver coins."(Old man) I give the money to him, and he says that it is at the end of the hall on the second floor. I walk up, and walk inside. Inside there is a big bed, a desk and a dining table. On the wall is a magic lantern. I walk over to the bed, and lay on it. Aterna wake me up 07:00 am tomorrow.

I begin falling asleep, and close my eyes.
The next day i wake up at 07:00 am thanks to Aterna waking me up. I stand up, and walk out of bed. I look out of the window, and see the sun rising. I decide to try something i have been thinking of. I want to try to fly without wings. I think that if i make my mana shoot downwards, it will make my body levitate, and i can controll my speed with how much mana i output. I stand upright, and feel the mana in my body. I make a little bit mana be outputted in a continous stream. I don''t feel my body becoming any lighter, so i output even more mana at the same time, and now i feel that i am no longer connected to the floor. When i land again a window pops up.

I land down beside the bed again, and turn invisible. I walk over to the windows and open them. I fly out, and close the windows behind me with mana. I fly up 1000 meters, and look around. I see a forest just outside the capital, and even further out i can see cities. I look towards the demon lands, and don''t see anything special. I can see giant sea monsters in the ocean a few kilometers out. If i don''t stop sightseeing now i''m gonna be late. I fly towards the arena, and land beside the arena in an area that no one is in. I turn myself visible, and walk towards the entrance for the contestants. i walk in, and there isn''t anyone in line. That may be because there is only 10 people left. I walk up to the desk, where the old man from yesterday is standing. "Show me your registration papers."(Old man) I give them to the old man, and he looks at them, and give them back to me. "Take the hallway to you left, and when you come to a door numbered 1, walk in."(Old man) I thank him and walk to the left. I walk a little bit, and arrive the door numbered 1. This hallway is a spitting image to the hallway to the right. I walk in, and inside there is already 9 people, which means that i am last. In the corner is a magic tv, that like the other room shows the arena. We wait til tournament starts, and the announcer from yesterday come up onto the stage. "Welcome the his majesty and the royal family!"(Announcer) The spectators stand up like yesterday, and cheer. The king gives a speech like yesterday. The spectators sit down when the royal family also has sat down. The announcer says then. "Can all the contestants come to the arena."(Announcer) Everyone in the room then begins walking to the arena. We walk out into the arena, and stand beside the walls. The announcer starts speaking. "Can nr. 2Gretinorim and nr. 3Eutukore come up onto the stage?"(Announcer) They walk onto the stage, and stand opposite of each other, and takes their stances. We both walk onto the stage and face eachother. The Announcer starts counting down, and when the match starts, Ruxone starts firing fire arrows at me. While she is firing that, she seems to be charging up the beam that knocked the other guy out. I am currently blocking the arrows with my hand. The beam seems to take a few seconds to charge. When a few seconds has gone past, the fire arrows stopped coming, and she seems to be about to fire the beam. She fires the beam, and it goes at about the speed of a bullet. I could easily dodge it but what fun would that be? The beam is getting closer, 10 meters... 5 meters... now it''s only 2 meters away. If i don''t do something to it, it would most probably push me off because my feet isn''t fused together with the ground. When the beam comes into a distance i can reach, i punch it with about 10 000 strength. When i do that, the beam reverses, and goes towards Fruxone. The beam is slightly faster after i punched than when she sent, so i don''t think she can do something about it. The beam hits her before she could process what happened, and she flies off the stage, and hits the wall to the spectator area. There is a silence for a few seconds, and i can hear people muttering things like ''What happened?'' and ''I didn''t see what happened.'' The announcer says that i won, and i walk off the stage. The rest of the matches are held. The second round is over, and now the third one starts. I am against a swordsman, and we are fighting first. We walk up to the stage, and face eachother. His name isGretinorim. The announcer counts down, and i decide not to mess around this time. When the announcer says ''start'', i run at a ''normal'' speed of 100m/s and push him of the stage. He flies of and hits the same wall that Fruxone hit. Everyone is shocked yet again, and there is a silence that lasts for a few seconds. I walk off the stage like nothing happened and after the announcer regained himself, he said who won, and announced the ones who is going to fight next. The next match was quite boring. The last guy didn''t have anyone to fight(Because the author is stupid) so he won via walkover. The fourth round is just 2 guy fighting, and i am not gonna fight(Again because the author is stupid). The guy that won is who i''m gonna fight against, and he seems to be a dukes son. His name is Takius, and he is nr. 19. The finals is tomorrow, so everyone''s leaving. I am gonna leave aswell. When i was returning to the inn, i heard something interesting. It was about how Patriv just recently summoned heroes from another world to fight against the demons. Aterna what is that about?
As you probably know, the human lands is currently at war against the demon lands, but since Patriv border to the demon lands they are the ones who do most of the fighting. But of course, the other countries help with supplies and such because if Patriv goes down, there is nothing that stops the demons from invading further. So while fighting against the demons, they developed magic that can transport(kidnap) people from other worlds to here, and when they come here they get a blessing from a goddess that if used carefully they can get strong. Basically a normal summoned to another world web novel kind of scenario.
That seems cool, i guess i will find out more about it when i am done with the tournament. I continue walking to the inn. I walk up to my room, and close the door. I walk over to the bed, and lay onto it. Aterna wake me up at 07:00 am like usual.

I close my eyes, and fall asleep. I lay there the rest of the day. In the middle of the night, i feel something touching my skin. I open my eyes, and in front of me is a man in black clothes, and he is wearing a black mask. Is... this an assassin? "What are you doing?" I ask him. He doesn''t say anything but it seems he is shocked, and he starts to run. He is faster than a normal human, but not faster than me. Before the assassin was able to reach the window, i had stood up, and begin ''walking'' to him. When i reached him, he had moved about 5cm from when i was still in the bed. I take him by the neck, and open the window. I slow down to a normal speed before i continue. The assassin was again shocked when i started moving normally, yet he still doesn''t speak. I fly out of the window with the assassin in a neckgrip. I take him and fly to the forest, far enough away that no one can hear us. It takes us 2 minutes, because if i go too fast i will kill him. I have also been regulating the strength i use to hold him, not to choke him. I land in a small clearing. I drop the assassin down, and he tries to run, but i''m not that easy. I mold mana to become restraining straps, and tie him up with it. "Okay, who sent you to kill me?" I ask him but he doesn''t answer. I take off the mask, and what is under is a young man about 20 years old, average face. There is nothing that stands out about him with his body. "Not gonna say anything?" Again he doesn''t answer. Aterna who sent him to kill me, and why?
The one who sent him was a duke of Qato. He sent him because his son is in the finals against you, and he thinks his couldn''t win directly against you so he sent an assassin. His name is Alut.
Since you told me, then i don''t need him anymore. I take a few steps back, and raise my arm. I make a fireball with a diameter of 2 meters. I throw it at the assassin. It hits him, and he doesn''t scream as he is being burnt alive. The fireball lasts for a few minutes, and then vanishes. What remains is a scorched ground, and ashes. Then where is the duke Aterna?
The duke is in the noble zone. In his mansion. It''s in the middle of the noble zone, and it''s built just by stone, so it''s hard to miss.
Ok, thanks. I make myself inivisible, and fly up 1000 meters. I fly towards the city, and this time i go faster than last time so it only took about 30 seconds. I fly over the commoner zone, and then the wall to the noble zone. I stop in the middle of the noble zone and look around. I couldn''t see the house from where i was, so moved further along. After searching for a little bit, i found the mansion. I find an open window and fly through it. I sense after the dukes man, and it is in the study, alone. I walk to the study, and knock on the door. I take a few steps back. I hear an ''come in'' from inside, and he says that a few times. He becomes a bit mad when no one comes inside, so he begins to walk to the door to open it. When the door opens, i grab him, and over his mouth so he can''t scream. I drag him into the study, and close the door behind me. I make mana restraints, and restrain him. I also make a strap for his mouth, so he doesn''t make any sound. I drag him with me as i walk to the window, and open it. I fly out the window, and head for the clearing i just was at. It took a few minutes but we got there without any trouble. I drop him down, and land beside him. I make myself visible again, and he gets scared when he sees me. He is trying to say something but the mouth thingy is in the way. I release the mouth strap, and he begins speaking. "You won''t get away with this!"(Alut) He is speaking annoying crap. "Shut up. I don''t care what you think. You''re going to be my guinea pig. That is what you get for trying to kill me." When i said that he didn''t dare speak another word. What i meant by guinea pig is how the human body reacts to runes and enhancments. How many can it take, and is it effective. Before doing anything, i check his stats, and see that they are like normal people''s stats. The first rune i''m writing is ''Immune to fire''. To test it, i will burn him with a flame. When he sees that i have made a flame, he begins begging me to stop. "Please stop! I''m sorry for trying to kill you! I will give you anything if you stop! Please!"(Alut) I don''t listen to him and bring the flame to his hands. When the flames touches his hands, he screams but stops soon after. The hand was completely normal. "Wh-What did you do to me?"(Alut) I don''t bother responding this time either. I check his body with mana, and i don''t feel any irregularities. The only thing that is a bit different is how his mana flows through his body. Well anyway. The next thing i''m doing is Injecting mana to his muscles to see if there is any change. I put my hand on his stomach, and find all the muscles. When i have found all the muscles, i begin injecting mana gradually into each of them. 100 mana. He doesn''t react. 500 mana. He says that he feels a bit strange. 1000 mana. He says he''s hurting and asking me what i am doing. I stop at 1500 mana, because i don''t think his muscles can take anymore. I check his stats, and see that his strength has gone up with 20 000, stamina 2000 and mana 1000. "Let''s move on." Next thing is another rune. This rune is gonna be ''Regeneration''. I sense after something that may be not normal for his body, and the only thing different from last time is that his pulse is really fast, like 130 bpm. Well let''s check if the last functions properly. I form mana to make a mana blade around my index finger. I cut him on the face, while he begs me to stop as usal. I retract the mana blade, and after a few seconds the wound is being closed very slowly. The next rune i''m going to test is ''harden''. I write the rune, and i can see that Alut becomes very pale when i do that. I check him forirregularities and find that his mana is really wild. It looks like he hasn''t enough mana to supply all of the runes equally. To test the rune, i make a hammer. I take the hammer while he continues to be beg me to stop, and lightly hit him in the leg. I hit him with enough strength to bend metal, but he only has a few scratches. I put the hammer into the inventory, and check him for any internal injuries. I can''t find anything. I look for the mana source, and find it in the middle of his chest. The mana source is where mana is produced, and the place it is, is specific to the race. Humans have it in the middle of the chest, i also have it there. Well anyway. I begin pouring mana into Alut''s mana source by the thousands. I do it for a little bit till i feel that he is about to collapse, and then i stop. I check his status, and his mana has gone up with 100 000. I look for anyirregularities and the mana is getting even wilder by the second. Alut is screaming of pain. He must be hurting very badly, since the mana want to expand. I get away from him, and watch. He just passed out from the pain, and i can feel the mana starting to expand by an explosive rate. When i don''t think his body can take it anymore, his body explodes, and creates a crater with a diameter of 5 meters. What''s the time Aterna?

Then there is only 17 minutes left! If i don''t hurry, i''m gonna be late. I fly up, and find the arena. I fly towards it at a speed of 100m/s so it only takes a minute or two for me to arrive. I land where no one can see me, and walk to the entrance for the contestants. It''s the same old man that has been here the last three times. He say to go left, and go into the door with number 1 on it. I do that, and inside there is already a guy. That is the guy i''m supposed to fight i think. I think his name is Takius. He is about the same age as me. He''s a swordsman. He''s wearing a expensive, but good armor and clothing. The sword he has is decorated with dragons, and it''s enchanted with runes that a low-leveled enchanter wrote. While i was thinking that, the announcer came on the stage and did the usual thing, welcoming the royal family. He says our names, and then we walk out to the arena. The announcer asks us to get on the stage, and we do that and face eachother. The announcer starts counting down, and when he says start, i walk towards Takius. When i come close enough to him he attacks me by slashing at me with his swords, but i dodge and punch him hard enough in the stomach that he flies into the wall. The audienced were quite shocked, but since it has happened before, the silence didn''t last that long. The crowd starts cheering, and the king starts speaking. "Congratulations on winning the tournament. Come to the royal viewing box to get your reward."(King) After saying that he walks back into the room where he can''t be seen. The announcer walks over to me, and says. "To get to the royal viewing box, you have to go in the entrance for the spectators, and in the middle is stairs that leads to the viewing box."(Announcer) I do as he said, and walk out of the arena, and go around, and there is an entrance that is a bit more decorated than the entrance for the contestants. I walk inside, and there are people still leaving, but there are very few people left so i can walk through. Inside there is 2 stairs to the left and right that leads to the seating areas. In the middle is stairs that is guarded by 2 soldiers. I guess that is where i''m supposed to go. I walk up to the stairs and the guards look at me for a few seconds then looks back. They must know that i am supposed to go there. I walk up the stairs and at the top is a man in a butlers outfit, and behind him is a door. He starts speaking to me. "Sir Matthew please follow me."(Butler) He says that and opens the door. I follow him into the room, and when i have walked in the door is closed by a servant. Inside is like a lounge. There is a table, and around it is chairs and couches. At the end of the table is a chair that is more decorated than any other chair or couch in here, and upon it sits the king. "Hello Matthew."(King) He says to me, and i answer back. "Hi." "Here is the coins."(King) He throws a bag towards me, and i catch it. "So, what do you want to request of me?"(King) What do i want? Hmmm... Okay that. "Magic books, i want magic books." "Okay, that will be easy."(King) He lifts his arm, and i can feel him pouring mana into a ring he has on his finger. Is that a magic item? A screen like the screens i see pop up that is connected to the ring. It looks the same just that everybody can see it. He puts his free hand into the screen pulls out 6 books. On each of the cover it''s written ''Wind'', ''Water'', ''Fire'', ''Earth'', ''Darkness'' and ''Light''. I take them, and say. "Thanks." I walk over to the door and a servant opens it for me. I put the books into my inventory when i am walk down the stairs. I walk past the guards, and continue walking.When i have come close to the city, i can see the blonde guy from the tournament standing in the way. Chapter 12 Summoning Circle "What do you want?" I ask the blonde guy right infront of me. "I want revenge for taking what''s mine."(Blonde guy) What does he mean by that?

Ok. I look at the guy infront of me, and decide what to do to him. I will get rid of him since he will only come in my way. I walk over to him, and he attacks me with his sword. I dodge, and punch him hard enough to knock him out. He collapses, and i pick him up. I look around after people, and when i don''t see anyone i teleport away. I land in the clearing i killed the assassin and duke in. I walk a short distance away from where Alut exploded and drop the blonde guy down. He doesn''t wake up just from me dropping him, so i have must have hit him pretty hard. What am i gonna do to him? I can just kill him, I don''t wanna bother doing something grand so i will just kill him. I imagine a blue firesword that is around 3000 degrees celsius. The sword forms mid-air and i walk a bit away from the sword and the blonde guy. Even from where i am standing i can feel some of it''s heat. The ground around the sword is starting turn black from being burnt, and the blonde guy is sweating even though he is unconscious. I command the sword to fly up a bit. When it has flown about 10 meters up i make it fly straight down. The sword falls with a speed of 50km/h and pierces the blonde guy''s chest and continue going down until the hilt has reached his chest. He died immediately from the heat turning his organs to ash. The sword continues to burn strong for a few more minutes, till it completely vanishes. What is left is a scorched hole in the ground and ash. Since i have time i guess i can learn the magic in the books. I sit down and take the books out of my inventory. I put them next to eachother, and pick up the first one, ''Fire magic''. The cover is red according to the element that is described in it, the other books also has a color corresponding to the element. I open the book, and a screen pops up.

The 4 elements, Fire, Earth, Water and Wind Has only attack and defense spells, while Light magic and Darkness magic has a few attack and defense spells, but they also have spells that influence the status and such. Light magic has healing and buffing spells, while Darkness magic has necromancy and debuff spells. I stand up, and brush the sand and dust that has gotten on my pants. I use a Water magic spell called ''Clean'' to get rid of the dirt that won''t go off when i brush it. After doing that my clothes have become slightly wet, so i use the wind magic called ''Dry'' and i am dry again. I fly a few kilometers up into the air, and look towards Patriv''s capital, Atun. I begin flying at a speed of mach 10 and continue speeding up as we go. I reach Atun after a minute, but i slowed down before arriving, not to go past it. I turn invisible, and conceal my mana. Aterna where does the summoning of heroes occur?
The summoning circle is in a secured area under the castle. Basically the basement/dungeon.
Okay, thanks. I fly down towards the castle that is in the middle of the capital, and land in a garden like place. There are people here training, it seems like they are the heroes since they have completely black hair, and black eyes and since their titles says heroes, and summoned being. There are 5 heroes, and there is an old man that is shouting things like how their stances are wrong. He is the knight commander of the Patriv royal knights order. The heroes are 3 males and 2 females. The girls are better in magic it seems, and the guys better at swords. Their stats aren''t that good. If one of them would have participated in the tournament as they are now, they would has most likely only gotten to the 2 round of the 1vs1 part. Well anyway, i have wasted too much time standing here, let''s go. I walk out of the garden area, and come to a hallway with no walls, but there are pillars that are placed a few meters apart. I continue walking through the hallway, and after a few minutes, i come to an open area, and i can see stairs that go down. I take the stairs down, and arrive at a cross section with multiple corridors. I take the one right in front of me. I continue walking down the corridor, and after a few minutes i can hear sounds of footsteps coming from directly infront of me. I can''t see them yet but i can hear them. I walk over to the wall of the corridor, and wait there. Surely enough, a minute after i heard the footsteps two guards come walking down the corridor. When they are out of range, i continue walking. I continue walking down the corridor and i arrive at an open area with multiple corridors, and in the middle is 2 doors that are slightly high, and decorated. I walk over to the door, and i don''t feel any presence inside so open the door and walk inside. Luckily the door was well oiled, so it didn''t make any sound that could be heard by the guards. The room inside is a bit large, enough to fit at least 2 buses. In the middle is a magic circle, and i walk over to it. So that is the summoning circle. The sides has tiny character written on it, and i look at it, and when i do that i hear a ping which is the sound when a screen pops up, or i learnt a language. It seems like the characters on the circle is the language of mana. The language of mana is the language elementals use. The words written on the magic circle is ''Locate strong humans. Transport them here.'' The words are poorly written. I begin looking at the magic circle, and when i start understanding it a little, three screens pop up.
