    When I woke up, I look up and see the sky. The clouds move ever so slowly with the gentle winds. I stand up and patted all dirt off of my Arabian Style Robe. As I look around, I can see a grassland and mountain just north from here. It feels somehow like being in the countryside.

    We then enter the chief daughters room. Inside it just a simple room with a dresser, a bucket filled with water beside it and a girl with a blonde hair and blue eye sitting on top up the bed. She is quite young, I think her age about 11 or 13 year old.


    Marlow then said, ¡°How your body, Diana?¡±


    ¡°I`m fine father, thank you.¡± She said with a bit of tired voice.


    She then looks at me, smile draw on her lips, with a gentle voice she greets me.


    I then answer her with a smile and a nod.


    Marlow pulls a chair and place it near the bed where Diana are.


    Marlow asks me to sit down, after sitting down, I then start check her body condition.


    Basically, I check her body with the common knowledge of earth, I place my hand on her head to know if she has a fever, I ask her hand and check her pulse and ask the symptom of her illness. From what she told me and from my own experience, I`m sure 100%, this girl have a typhus disease.


    Thanks goodness this is a curable disease.


    Eh, how i know such a thing? Well, back on earth i used to have the same diseases you see, the symptom are fever, dizziness, headache, chills and other flu like symptoms. So, the moment she told me about it, i`m become pretty sure it`s typhus and not other diseases.


    It`s probably can take someone life to, so immediately treatment are require.


    After I explain all I know about typhus diseases, somehow, Marlow gets a surprise, I can see it on his face. I titled my head and say ¡°Huh?¡±.


    ¡°Well, you see, I thought my daughter''s illness is because the evil spirit, that''s why I called priest from the capital to exorcist my daughter.     ¡°Well, if it`s a priest, we can afford to summon one. Because priest gets paid from the kingdom. So, when a priest come to our village, we just have to give them food and a place to stay. But a doctor is different, they work only for money, and the medicine they give also very expensive. A commoner like we are can`t afford it you see.¡± Somehow, I can see a tear come out of Marlow eyes.


    Marlow that notice I have seen him cry immediately turn away and wipe his tear.


    Meanwhile, there is no change in Diana expression, she just keeps smiling purely since we greet each other.


    Huh, Doctor and medicine are expensive?


    I have a meal with Marlow just before and from his meal, I don`t think that this family is so poor that they couldn`t afford to get medicine from a doctor though.


    Now if I recall, this place is very remote village. There is no TV nor electricity. Maybe the doctor here takes advantage of that and charge them with an expensive medication huh, what a bastard.


    ¡°Father, please don`t cry. It`s couldn`t help that we can`t afford a doctor, but we still have a god who always with us, isn`t. He is very generous. If I keep praying to him, surely my illness will cure itself. so please don`t worry too much about it.¡±


    Sigh, now it`s come to this, I don`t know what to do anymore. Typhus are curable diseases, but without medicine, no one can cure it.


    Well, they though I`m a priest don`t they, guess I just have to give her a prayer like a priest do, maybe. Then I just get down with it.


    ¡°Well, there is only one thing that we can do. Let`s us start praying to God now. Pray together are better than just praying alone after all. Perhaps, if we pray together, God might immediately answer it.¡±


    I said it while I am watching Marlow that start sobing now.


    Diana chuckling when she sees her father sobbing while a priest tried to cheer him up.


    ¡°Yes, please do priest.¡± She said it while still chuckling. What a pure girl. I become more filled with guilty to trick this girl.


    Diana then sits straight while closing her eyes, then she put her hand together. She starts to recite a word of compliment and the gratitude word to God that her worship.


    I then stand up and put my right hand on top of her head. While closing my eyes, I then start reciting a prayer word.


    ¡°In the name of God, the infinitely compassionate and merciful. Praise only to God, lord of all the world. The compassionate, the merciful and the ruler on the day of reckoning. Guide us on the stright path. A path of those whoe have received your grace. Not the path of those who brought warth, nor of those who wander astray.¡±


    Then suddenly, I heard Diana shout joyously. ¡°Father, my body, I can stand up now. God has answered our prayer. The father looks, I can stand up now.¡±

    Diana Story


    My name is Diana. I''m the only daughter of Village Chief, Marlow, and my deceased mother, Amishia. Today is the 13th of Spring months. It''s a sunny day, the air is starting to warm up and I can hear the birds chirping, so I know it''s early in the morning.


    Like usual, my father will leave the house, to hunt in the forest while I manage the house work such cleaning, laundry and cooking.


    But today I feel different. When I woke up, I felt that my body seemed heavier than usual, and I also feel kinda dizzy and seem to be running a fever.


    Realizing the abnormality of my body, I call for my father, who just happened by outside my room.


    ¡°Father, I feel kinda sick today.¡±


    ¡°Is that so? Hmmm, alright,let me see.¡±


    Fathercomes close to me and puts his hand on my forehead.


    ¡° Itseem that you are running a fever. It''sprobably just theflu, but I think you should just rest for today, okay?¡±

    After we talk, Father takes his hunting equipment and leaves the house. Just like father said, today I will rest. After father leaves, I sit down on my knees and put my hand together to pray.

    After I finished praying, I lay back on my bedand close my eyes. It isn''tlong till I fall asleep.

    It''s getting worse. When I woke up, my body felt heavier than earlier. I tried eating to give my body more energy, but I just keep throwing up the food and even thewater tasted horrible.


    About 30 minutes later, Father came back,carrying a deer on his shoulder. Soon after, father came upto my room with a bowl of soup, wait thatisn''t soup, butjust some water with green food coloring in it.

    After 2 days, I feel sicker, even my fever has risen. If it was just the flu, it will usually be cured after drinking the medicine and some rest. But my illness just keeps getting worse, it''s to the point that, I don''t think this is the flu anymore, it must be another illness.


    My father knocked onmy door. ¡°You may in,¡± I said in a calm but tiredvoice.


    When my father came into my room, I noticed that he was wearing his travelling gear. Isfather going somewhere?


    ¡°Diana, I won''t beback till afternoon. Someonefrom the capital has stopped by our village. He told us arumor that5% of thepopulation in thecapital have contracted anunknown illness. Hesaid ithappened just 1 day after the king got sick. I wanted to go there and check the capital city''s condition myself.¡±

    Marlow Story


    Ijust arrived at the capital city entrance. For some reason, there are more people leaving the city and only a couple of people are waiting at the gate to enter the city.


    I see 2 guards in front of the city gate, one guard talks with people who wish to enter the city while the other guard on duty seem to be writing something down. I follow the line and wait patiently for my turn.


    It takes a couple of minutes till the guard calls me.


    ¡°Heyyou, what business brings you to the Capital,¡± asks the guard in front of me.


    Ireach into my small bag on my waist and show him my Adventurer card that I brought frommy house.


    ¡°I just want to meet a friend you see, so I wish to enter the city for today. I will leave at afternoon.¡±


    Suddenly, the guard''s skinpales when he sees my Adventurer card.


    ¡°Hiii, it- it`s an A ranked Adventurer card. I, umm, please wait here, I will tell Bernard to approve your entry.¡±


    Theguard startsrunning towardsthe post gate, he then opensadoor and closes itwith aBANG,making the guard inside it, who seems to be theBernard fellow,surprised.


    Bernard,with his face full of anger, getsup from his chair and tries tolecture the guard, but theguardputshis hand over Bernard''smouth and pointing his hand to me while sayingsomething.


    Soon after,Bernard sits quietlyand writes a note with all his might. Not long after, the guard come back to me,running.


    ¡°Sorry for making you wait Sir Marlow, here is your entry approval.¡±

    Ireach into my pocket, but suddenly the guard, nervously smiling, starts waving his hands at me while sweat pours out of his head.


    ¡°No no no, we can''t take the money from the Capital city Hero after all. Besides, you said you would leave at afternoon right? So, no need to pay the fee.¡±


    ¡°Well, if you insist then. Alright,I''ll be going now so give my regards to the other guard for me.¡±


    The guard said,while bowing his head, ¡°Certainly sir, please enjoy your visit.¡±


    I enter through the gate and I see a site that I haven''t seen for 10 years. It was very nostalgic. Even though I''ve heard that almost 10% of the population has already left the city, the streets are still crowded with different people and race like usual.


    I walk down the main street into the Inner city, where the district area is located.


    After a brisk walk, I arrive in front of a 3 story building, made out of stone and wood. It''s the bar/inn that I always visited with my companion. I received a letter yesterday that one of my companions that he would wait for me here.


    This place is, and will always be very, very loud. Just by nearing the front door, I can already hear people laughing and glass breaking.


    I take in a big breath of air and kick the double doors with my feet. I use just enough force to open the doors, but not enough to break them. As soon as I enter, all gazes fall upon me. I then shout with a vigorous smile.


    ¡°Yo bastards, how ya doing?¡±


    As soon as I said that, all the guys start cheering. There are also some people who said, ¡°way to go Marlow,¡± and some people whodrink their beers and then burst out laughing at me. Honestly, this place will never change.


    In the middle, a geezer withwhite hair an a face full of smiles,looked at me and says...


    "Way to go young one. Finally, we can settle everything today, HAHAHAHA!"


    He then placed his forearm on the table. I know what he wants, so I followed his actions and put my forearm on the table and accepted his Panco challenge.


    "The loser will have to pay for all the drinks," I said with a devious smile.


    "Fine by me," He said, smiling back.


    Someone came over to us and said that he would set up the match. He then shouted," Ready... Set.... Start!" The Old Geezer and I immediately started to arm wrestle, giving our all to win.


    Meanwhile, a man walked into the bar. He had dark hair and mysterious clothes. His eyes were sharp and he seemed to have a small dagger on his waist. He sat in front of the bar alone, silently watching our match.

    It was a fierce battle (Pancho). The old geezer, despite his old age, he gives me a hard time to win. I can tell by grabbing his rough hand that, this old geezer never stops training with his sword since last time I see him. Even his hard muscle still can be seen from his arm.


    I can see his decevious smile, as if to say this old man are stronger than me.


    Damn old man, even I, not lazing around at Valor Village you know.


    Every morning I''m telling my daughter to go hunting in forest, but the truth is I keep training like my master told me to.


    100x push up, 100x sit up, 100x squat and 10 KM runs EVERY SINGLE DAY!


    So I confident with my strength.


    Not long till old man''s hand gets shaken because his arm can`t stand the burden. Then, with all my power, I push my hand as hard as I can and with a BANG! The sound of old man''s hand when I push his hand to the table.


    I clench my two fists and raise it in the air like a champion.


    ¡°Free drink by the old man.¡±


    All the people in the bar get up from their chair and put their beer into the air and all synchronizesay ¡°Cheers¡± then laughing.


    ¡°HAHAHAH, to think you manage to win against me two times now. This old man really needs more tra- erm, I forgot that I have already stopped training huh.¡±


    ¡°Shut up you lier old geezer, your appearance are not matched with your power. Just if I am not training every day, it`s definitely me who pay for the drink today.¡±

    The old man then gets up from his chair and raise his mug to the air ¡°Yo bastard, all drink pay by me. I will kick yo ass if I don`t see you drunk today HAHAHA.¡±


    One person''s voice, then can be heard from the back seat near the exit door, ¡°Shut up old man, the last time I see you drunk just by drink 3 mugs of beers.¡±


    ¡°Whoa- you. Damn young one, let`s have a drinking contest then and see who`s gonna drunk first.¡±


    The old man, who accept that guy challenge, quickly get up and walk to his seat.


    Meanwhile, I''m alone now, because most of the attention are fixed to the old man and his drinking contest, finally I can go to my main mission now.

    I take a paper note from my jacket sleeve, place it on the table and bring it near his sake. Soon, he takes it and hide it on his sleeve.

    After our last quest, I''m leaving the city and living in Valor Village. The last latter, I get from this guy was 4 years ago, seem he got a position on the city as queen personal guard or something.


    Well, enough about him, let just glance at him and maybe he will answer my question.

    He just silences, without looking at me. He drinks his sake with one gulp, then he uses his hand signaling something to me, it`s a signal for ¡°Come closers¡±.


    ¡°It`s not diseases, but an evil spirit.¡± He said with a low voice near my ear.

    ¡°No poison was found. Even the best doctor here can''t diagnose Stefan illness. It was- no nevermind¡±


    He fell to silence again, refill his small mug with sake Botel then drink it with one gulp. He then reaches on his sleeve and place 5 copper coins on the table. He get up from the chair and ready to leave.

    ¡°It''s about people who get infected. I heard most women who get infected shown some illness like fever and their body so heavy that they only spend their time in bed. Is that true?¡±


    It was my very objective to confirm this after all to find out the truth about this mysterious disease.He then turn his body away, then look strike to my eyes.


    ¡°Yes, its called Mystic Fever. At first 20 days, the one who gets infected shown minor illness such fever and body so heavy. At 21 days, the infected will have a continuous pain in chest. At 31 days, the infected will suffer a paralyzed while the pain in their chest gradually increases. Most infected died at 37 days.¡±


    Wha- what did this guy say? Isn`t he just describing Diana illness perfectly by now. So Diana will die? No, this can''t be happening, this isn`t happening.


    ¡°Please answer me honestly, is there a cure to this disease?¡±


    ¡°Only a priest with a higher divine power can cure it. But to seek such person audience are impossible, especially commoner like you. So, just give up.¡±


    I lower my sight and thinking thoroughly about what I should do. Will I lose someone I love while I have this power again? Just thinking about someone you love will lose while you have this so much power are really painful.


    Sakutaro then frown, as if he wants to cheer me up, he said something that makes my heart at east at least.


    ¡°With so many people infected with this illness, the queen asks pope himself to cure this Mystic Fever. The last report I heard that, the pope will arrive at city 2 days from now. If you have someone who infected as well, your best shot is to bring them to the city to get purified. Well, that all information I can give to you.¡±


    Without looking at me or give me regard, he just walking away.


    So the pope who has the greatest divine power will visit this city. Then there a hope. Diana won''t die, if its pope, he definitely can cure Diana.


    So with determent to cure Diana, I take my leave and headed straight to Valor Village. Tomorrow, I will take Diana to this city and wait till pope arrived, so Diana illness can be cured as fast as possible.

    At certain room at kingdom castle in the capital city where the king room area.


    A man can be seen sleeping soundly on wide king size bed. Beside him is a beautiful woman wearing a crown and a beautiful dress.


    Despite a black ring can be seen under her eye because lack of sleep is still not enough to ruin her beauty. She grabs his hand and place it on her cheek, then she say something with a gentle yet tired voice.


    ¡°Stefan, please hang in there. The pope will arrive here soon.¡±

 V01 CH 06 : Pope Mission

    V01 CH 06 :


    At certain road to Valor Village, a wooden carriage can be seen from afar. In it a man wearing a long robe covering his body from neck to his knee.


    On his right chest can be seen a symbol with white golden cross color and a rising sun behind it. It was an official symbol of high priest from cathedral city.


    He is reading a book with a leather as it cover. every time he flips the paper, he scarth his head because he can''t read it.


    Well, not because he can''t read but because the content of the book are written in an ancient language that no one can read it anymore.


    So, why he carries that book knowing he can''t read it? That because the book itself are the copies of the holy book that written by Divine Hero himself 100 years ago. Just by carried it can give a pleasant feeling to his carrier. It`s also having a power to repel a bad aura from someone or evil spirit. So for a priest, having this book is a must.


    ¡°Sigh, Valor village is the seventh village that I will visit today. Hopely, the one that we are looking for are there or else, pope will mad at me again.¡±


    The high priests sigh continuously while remembering the scene that he has through last night.


    ----- Falshback -----


    That night, when the pope convoy is on the way to Regilia Kingdom, suddenly, the original book who only pope allow to holds now shining brightly. He then shouts at driver to stop the carriage then he get out and put his two knees on the dirt.


    The knight and all priests who witness that scene immediately rush toward the pope who suddently kneeling and praying, wondering what just happen.


    Soon after, he suddenly gets up. He raises his two hands, then constantly jumping around with a bright smile on his face then laughing. All the people who witness this scene are tittle their head.


    ¡°He comes. He finally comes. To think I still alive to witness his form, what a great news. Hahahahaha.¡± The pope shout joyously without caring the confuse gaze of all people there.


    Pope then suddenly fix his posture. He then patted all dirt on his knees, then fix his gaze toward a certain priest.


    ¡°Simon, I have an important mission for you, can I count this mission to you?¡±


    The joyous smile on pope face just now are nowhere to be seen. Now pope uses his serious face and a bit of light aura leaking from his body. Everyone gets tense when they see the miracle in their own very eyes.


    ¡°As you wish our pope. I shall carry your mission and by god, I will definitely complete it.¡±


    ¡°Good, then I want you go toward the west, visit all the nearby village you can visit till you arrive at Regilia Kingdom. I want you to find a certain someone and bring him to me.¡±

    ¡°You shall know him when you see him. Your book will show the way and it will shine brightly when near that person.¡±


    ¡°As you wish pope, I shall carry this mission till I completed it.¡±


    Pope relaxing his face once again after hearing Simon answer. After bidding him bye, the pope and his follower continue their journey and take North road, it`s the shortest road to the Regilia Kingdom while Simon goes to West road, the longest route to Regilia Kingdom.


    ----- One Night After ----


    It`s morning now, Simon then continues his mission to find the man who pope looking for. He has confidence that he definitely finds this person. So, with a smile on his face, Simon then goes to the first village just near his camp location.


    At first village, he search the person with a care and smile brightly, gives anyone who see his smile also smile back.


    At second village, he also smiles brightly and the villager who sees his smile also smile him back.


    At forth village, his smile now nowhere to be seen. He just looks around without care hr get looked by a villager.


    At the sixth village, no smile can be seen on his face and he continuously sighs on the way back.


    ----- Present -----


    Now he on the way to Valor village, it`s the last village locate near Regilia Kingdom. Honestly, he doesn''t know if he will find this guy there, so with a long sigh, he closes his book then laying his head on carriage chair.


    ¡°Sigh, it`s already afternoon, huh. Guess I will have to set camp soon, then go to Valor village tomorrow.¡±


    With that said, he closes his eyes while thinking a good reason when he facing pope tomorrow.


    ----- Scene Change -----


    ¡°And, behold, I just take the coin right out of Marina ears.¡±


    All the kids who watch my magic performance, clapping their hands. With a small village without electricity like this, just performance a small magic trick already gives a bright smile toward kids here.


    After I healed the villager with their back pain, Marlow said he will back right away and ask me if I want to come to his house with him.


    For me, to visit a countryside village like this are rare, so I just said that I want to see the scenery here before going home.


    Then, when I''m sight seeing, I saw Anna sitting alone on top up wood log. She just sits there, watching her friend playing on the field with a boredom expression on her face.


    So I Approaching her and cheer her up with simple magic trick and somehow, i beable to make her smile again. The other kids that notice my magic trick getting hooked by it and approach me to watch it from up close, then after one trick, he demand me to do it again.


    Without me knowing, now I have 9 kids as an audience for my magic trick.


    ¡°Alright, for my next magic, I will make this handkerchief vanish on my hand grip. You shall not blink because you will miss the miracle.¡±Soon as I said that, all the kids fix their gaze to my right hand, their eyes shining for expecting something outrageous to happen.


    Then, with a devious smile, I open my hand and the kids surprise because the handkerchief that suppose to be on my hand now gone.


    Of course, the handkerchief is not really gone, it`s just hidden behind my thumb. But because I only show them my front hand, its give the illusion that the handkerchief really gone.


    ¡°Then, summoning handkerchief back again, I need one person to help me. Do we have a volunteer?¡±


    ¡°Me me, pick me please.¡±


    ¡°No, pick me, pick me.¡±


    ¡°Sir priest, pick me please¡±


    All the 9 kids raise their hand to volunteer them self. They probably just want to watch my trick from up close. Hahaha, what an innocent kid.


    ¡°Alright, then phill, come here.¡±


    I chose Phill, then I place my right hand near his ear, then pull out the handkerchief that I hid on my thumb earlear.


    All the kids clap their hands again. After that, I keep performance simple magic trick and without realizing it, it`s already noon, so I bid them farewell then head back to Marlow house.


    It was fun, playing magic trick and give them a small entertainment. At least, no one bored with my magic trick, so I really feel happy right now.

    I heard a man''s voice from my side. When i looked at the source of that voice, a man can be seen wearing a same robe as me.


    Though he wears a blue light color robe while I wear aqua blue color robe. I also can see a small symbol on his right chest too.


    He''s roughly taking breath with a face full of excitement and, is it just me or the book that he carried in his right hand, are somehow glowing?

    Chapter 01 : First Ecounter on Unknown Village Part 01


    When Musa woke up, he sees the sky. The cloud is moving ever slowly with a strong breeze, made the green grass moving back and forth. As he stand up, he sees scenery he had never seen before.


    ¡°Just where am i?¡±


    He thought that as he tried to remember what happen last night. But, nothing comes up. Last night, he only remembers bits of his memory, but don`t know if he remembering it right.


    As he tried to remember the events last night, he sees some smoke rising up in the distance. He decides to walk toward them. Before long, he sees a road made a dire.


    [Well, which way to go now?]


    Musa seem worried whether to go to his right toward the forest where he sees smoke rising from the distance or to the left.


    [Nothing comes up if I stay here. Alright, let`s go that way, toward the forest]


    He decides to go to the forest as he continues to walk without feeling discouraged. After some time walk through the forest, finally, he found a small village in the vicinity.


    The majority of this village is farmers and most of them are middle aged western man. As he expected, this is not Asian, but a foreign country. In other words, he woke up at some place on earth without proof of identification and they probably doesn`t speak the same language as him.Support the creativity of authors by visiting the original site for this novel and more.


    ¡°So, what now? Should i go and called out to them to get help?¡±


    As Musa think hard about whether should he visit the village or not, the villager there seems to notice him and looked at his way while saying something to the nearby villagers.


    He thought, it would be too much trouble if villager here thought him as suspicious persons, he decides to take the initiative and tried talking to them with humble manners.


    [Um, hello there. Do any of you can speak English?]


    Musa walks along the path between the fields while putting on a bitter smile. Among the villager, a woman, with a red and slightly darker hair, probably in her mid forties, walks slowly to approach him while saying...


    [We have never seen you before, but, judge by your robe... are you one of the priest who comes from the capital city?]


    Musa was bewildered by her response. He doesn`t understand why she thought him as a priest. Actually, what is a priest? Is it some kind of game character who use staff and cast healing magic spell?


    At least, this village knows how to speak English and that is a good start.


    As he looks around, he saw a simple wooden and stone with one-story house building. Then, as he took his times to look around, the women that had been talking to Musa, look at him, urge him to give some explanation.


    Musa then unfolded his arms and putting a wry smile as he tried to make up a cover story as his background.


    [Ah, sorry. I''m just a servant of God who looking for a place to spend the night. My name is Musa, wish to make your acquaintance]


    When they heard the word ¡°Servant of God¡±, the woman and other villagers seem to loosen up. They probably mistook Musa as priest.


    [WA- wait while I call the village chief... no, I think it''s better if you meet him yourself. Please come along, I`ll take you to the chief house]


    Musa, who heard a positive answer from the village, smiling while saying [Please do!] to the woman who tried invite her along, while muttering [So far so good] inside his head.


    Then, he thought, if he could make a good impression on this village chief, he might use this chance to figure out where he is.
