《Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha [Temporary Hiatus]》 Prologue 1 - His Creation Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Prologue 1 - His Creation CLANG! That is the sound of two weapons colliding. The sound of cold steel hitting against each other. The weapons are grinding each other using the most primitive method of battle. A battle of brute strength. It is natural for the two fighters to fight that way. They, who call themselves cultivators are always in hot pursuit of eternal life. As they become locked in combat, their weapons are coldsteel sacrifices that become thrown aside once they become worn. Back in the time of chivalry, cultivators had blood refined their weapons for a more intimate connection with their weapon. Essentially investing their own life into giving life and a conscious to the weapon that developed alongside with them as they chase immortality. Back then, weapons weren''t as easily available. If their weapon broke. The cultivator would still bring the weapon around with them in hopes of one day reviving it. Nowadays, weapons of all types are easily mass produced, as this continent, Furgeas(fur-jas), has been blessed by the God of the Forge, Dwargni. Mines are always full of ores, just ready to harvest. Furnaces built with Dwargni¡¯s flame have living flames, causing the production of weapons to be many times more quick, and of higher quality. This made mass production almost as common as farming. Expected and necessary. Dwargni was an oddity among gods. He was the only god who didn¡¯t bother sending his worshippers to spread his faith. He had settled into a shop of his own where he played the role of a mysterious power, much like the web novel he read when he was bored. That''s right, Dwargni was an otaku, and a chunni who just loved to posture. The truth of Dwargni is that he once was the average earthling, but one day, he became so chunni and in love with the idea of the mysterious weapon shop owner, he set up a shop for fellow otakus. His odd life-style caught the attention of the observer of planet Earth. This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience. He was not well recepted by the people of earth, so the observer decided to enslave him and bring him to the God of Flames, Flaurn. Flaurn took interest at what Dwargni was able to do with flames and steel, especially since her love interest was Satier, the God of Steel and Nature. Satire who felt at odds with Flaurn because her flames burned his wooden house down whenever she felt a fiery passion for him. Eventually, Dwargni received both of their blessing and found his way to God hood using their blessings. And settled on a continent, after all, the Christian were right about the gate at heaven, cause it''s a gated community, and they don''t let gods under the age of 18 eras in, unless they know someone. Even then, the time would be reduced to 16. Dwargni was quickly reaching the end of the 16th era and wanted to leave something behind as remembrance. After much consideration, Dwargni decided to create 7 holy and 7 unholy weapons with all the godores he had. One for each of the 7 virtues and 7 deadly sins. After creating the 14 weapons, Dwargni sent the to random places in, on, and above the world. The sudden influx of energy from these Godly artifacts created danger zones, as well as blessed regions. It was a disaster. Dwargni didn''t have enough time left to solve the problems himself, so he created a hammer, one that would be injected with his Godly Forging Aura. The hammer became warped by the influx of aura, and took form of a Guandao. Despite the weapon not turning out how he hoped, Dwargni still decided that this would be the weapon that would rule all weapons. The 14 weapons he just forged had growth potential, but this one, it was crazier than greed, it was able to consume anything to grow. He inlaid a jewel that said king. One word said it all. Born to rule. One who will create a legend. Out of fear of being consumed once the weapon awoke, Dwargni encased the weapon in sealing stone and talismans. He told himself that it would one day find its owner and he wouldn''t have to worry. The end of the 16th era passed. Dwargni, with the help of Flaurn and Satier, ascended to heaven. Prologue 2 - The Land Abandonded by God Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Prologue 2 - Land Abandoned by God A meteorite descended from the heavens, and landed in the center of the planet Furial. It¡¯s path of travel was ever so strange. If one looked earlier, a greenish, reddish silvery light shot upwards, then the stone descended from the silver part of the light. Cursing could be geared as a thunderous voice screamed in agony. ¡°God Dammit! I accidentally sealed my burger king toy in the the rock! Now I won''t be able to find earth easily anymore!¡± A many 100s of years passed since that day. The meteorite was seen as unassuming at first. But when it was discovered that the rock had properties to heal itself, people from sects began to use it as a way to test the power of disciples. If they could stick their fonts more than a foot, then they would be welcome as entry level disciples, only a master could make the rock ring out. The 7 disaster zone had become a trial of tempering. The 7 blessed lands were occupied by the 7 big sects. Dwargni¡¯s blessing grew weaker as the years went on, but the kingdom¡¯s royalty, the dwarf royal family kept a hush order on the matter. The once odd shabby store was gone. The royal family who vaguely was aware of Dwargni''s existence put two and two together and discovered that they were abandoned by their God. Furgeas began to seem like it was preparing for war to declare on other countries. The planet, Furial, was about to become embroiled in conflict. Support the creativity of authors by visiting Royal Road for this novel and more. ¡¡ Into the 10th year of the Great War, people began to catch wind and figure out, Furgeas was abandoned by their God. Morale plummeted. Men began to abandon their posts, making it easier for the other countries to invade. ¡¡ On the 37th year of the war, enough blood had seeped into the ground to form blood demons, a monster attracted by blood, and uses it as a medium to gains more physical forms. Blood demons won''t be attracted if there wasn''t at least half a billion deaths to make the amount of blood. ¡¡ On the 100th year, the new prince dwarf couldn''t take it and surrendered. The dwarf royal family agreed as part of the contract terms to retreat underground and keep mining and making weapons for their conquerors, the Humans. Out of desperation, King Dwarf the 37th had brought ruin to his own family. King dwarf the 38th was too prideful and cause the war to drag on. King dwarf the 39th couldn''t take the pressure and ended up exhiled to the underground mines where he would be a laborer for the rest of his life. In the future generations, King dwarf the 56th would lead his clan of dwarves out, and into a land where they would be free, and forging would be their foundation for power. ¡¡ While the dwarves were at war, the elves soon discovered that their patron god, Satier had left them, their king God desperate, and paranoid. He had ordered all of his elf subordinates to move deeper into the forest, where they would hide away from all detection ¡¡ The Humans was also desperate. The goddess of flames and life had left them at the same time. The humans decided to conquer very thing before anyone figured out anything. ¡¡. The lands became plagued with diseases and monsters that evolved from blood demons. From slimes to dragons. The blood demons filled from resentment towards all races that were built over a period of 100 years caused the monsters to all have an innate hatred for all races, excluding the elves who stayed away. One tribe of such monsters became the Rulers of these monsters, and were know as the demon race. They were an extraordinarily powerful group with the strongest monster having the ability to transform to a human size and shape. Making it easier to infiltrate and kill humans. They occupied the 7 trial areas. ¡¡ Years¡ centuries¡ millenniums¡ a lot of time had gone by since this day, but the hatred still runs deep between all races. And on one cloudy day, the testing rock shook. Chapter 1 - Freedom Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Chapter 1 - Freedom Rumble¡ ¡°Master¡? What was that¡?¡± ¡°Damnit quite being to timid and go test your strength already! And quite calling me master, I haven''t acknowledged you yet!¡± The master and disciple stood before a large rock. It was know as the testing rock. The saying went that if your arm sinks 1 foot into the stone, you can join any sect as a disciple, but if you can make the rock ring, then all the sects will scramble to take you in. ¡°Here¡I¡.GO!¡± With a long wind up, the disciple performs unnecessary and flashy movements before throwing a punch. At this moment, the rock rumbled again and cracked formed and connected to where the young disciple punched. With a look of shock, his master stared at his disciple, then the rock. The boy¡¯s master wanted to instill discipline and patience for his future, not have him destroy the meteorite. Even if the rock¡¯s recovery had been slowing down over the years, it''s still too much. You might be reading a pirated copy. Look for the official release to support the author. ¡¡ The Guandao shook and tried to free itself to no avail. Alas, the blade was still wrapped in extra talismans and couldn''t free itself, but the talismans were unable to move either. The Guandao had been in this dead lock for nearly 10000 years already. Then it suddenly heard ¡°WOW you have power, but that stiff rigid form won¡¯t allow you to move as you¡¯d like. You''re up against a rock that can''t move, so a flexible attack will give you a better advantage.¡± The Guandao formed a spiritual conscious and understood. It solely scanned and took shape of a human, based on the one that shouted the advice. ¡¡ ¡°Okay, here goes¡.NOTHING!!¡± With even more strange and useless moves, the disciple punched again. The stone rumbled even more. The cracks widened, and a radiant gold light shot out and pierced through the stormy clouds that hung above. As if challenging the heavens. The master was speechless and decided that accepting this disciple would be the best choice of his life. He immediately grabbed the boy and took him away before another sect could poach him. From within the rock, sprang out a dark haired, golden eyed, 16 year old looking kid. The boy was holding a strange toy that looked like the king of humans from the start of the Great War. There was a ring and a string on the toy. The boy pulled it and heard ¡°MaHa¡¡± the boy looked shocked, then looked around , but saw no one. ¡°Is that my name?¡± ¡°Maha¡.¡± ¡°My name is Maha¡ who are you?¡± ¡°Maha¡¡± ¡°I see, you''re a clue left by my creator. Then I, Maha, will figure the way back to my creator and return this to him. Until that day, I shall store you away carefully. But first, I need to go see the old man who helped me out of the rock. Good thing I scanned him earlier and can easily track him now.¡± Maha stood up and followed the trail Chapter 2 - Change of Appearance Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Chapter 2 - Change of Appearance ¡°Human form is so interesting. I can pick things up with my body without having to pierce through it first. It''s also easy to seal the power of a human. Wonder how I broke out of the seals in human form¡¡± ¡¡ ¡°The seals will seal away the Guandao for a while, so I¡¯m not sure how long until it finds a human worthy wielding it''s power. If it doesn''t, then it may be stuck there forever.¡± Dwargni mulled over in the furnace pavilion in his courtyard. ¡°Just in case, I¡¯ll make a weapon specifically to counter it. That way, I won''t have to be too afraid of the ramifications that heaven will bring on me for ruining a world.¡± ¡¡ Maha continued to follow the master and disciple¡¯s trail at a lesuirely pace and enjoyed the scenery. After witnessing 100 years of killing and 9900 years of being a punching bag, everything was interesting. A bird came flying by hurling happily as it followed its flock. It began to lose power and feel towards Maha. Maha caught the bird and checked for its injuries, but the bird was dead. A dark miasma flowed from the bird¡¯s and the bird turned to an ashy gray, before crumbling to dust. Sad that the first lunch creature he touched died, Maha continued to follow the master and disciple duo as his mood slightly dampened. ¡¡ ¡°To think that I Senju Tanaka, would end up having power after transporting here from earth. Those chinese martial arts movies are my cheat in this world! I will become invincible!¡± Thought Senju Tanaka, the timid disciple who had ¡®broken¡¯ the testing rock. ¡°Master, when are you going to teach me internal cultivation?¡±Support the creativity of authors by visiting the original site for this novel and more. ¡°Do not rush it disciple, for cultivation has many Daos. In the times long gone, Dao of weapons was the most well known and powerful Dao. The ability to infuse your being into one stroke of the sword, and project it in the form of a sword¡¯s blade. That is sword intent. To be able to shoot that intent in multiple beams like the Dao of Magic. To be able to fuse your soul with the sword the you held, temporarily changing your body structure. That was the state of one with the sword. That would convert all your power into one of a sword¡¯s. Dao has infinitely many paths, but many are undiscovered. To learn a Dao as you proceed in your cultivation will strengthen your foundations, and allowing you the advantage in the moment of truth in the last moments before ascending to immortality. I can definitely tell the difference, as I failed the last moment because my foundation wasn''t strong enough¡¡± The master trailed off. Naturally he was posturing and making it up, Senju took it for the truth, and excitedly said ¡°Disciple understands.¡± ¡¡ Maha, with a burger king toy in his pocket, and ashes in his hand, blew away the ashes, the slowly sauntered towards the trail that he followed. Maha came up to a lake and looked in the reflection. ¡°Am I alive? If I get decapitated in human form, will I die? ¡ maybe all weapons are living, and humans just don''t see it.¡± Thought Maha and ripples disrupted his reflection. A school of green fish came up to the surface and kept splashing, as if to say ¡°don''t feel down¡ Im a fish¡ blup¡¡± When Maha reached out to touch the fish, they retreated back into the water. Across from the lake, a couple of children were playing with the green fish, and the fish didn¡¯t run away. With a thought, Maha hid behind a tree and slowly transformed his appearance into that of 9 year old boy. Same black hair and golden eyes. His silvery white colored skin looked more plump, and two dragon tattoos formed on his forehead, facing each other with a jewel that said king in between. Maha edged toward the children who were playing with the fish slowly. Then called out ¡°hey! Can I play with you guys?¡± Despite being over 10000 years old, Maha was still a child mentally, for he had been sealed away at birth. ¡°We don''t play with girls! Go away you white skinned kooties machine!¡± ¡°Yeah, go away you bird poop skin person!¡± ¡°Lets throw stones at her and watch her cry! ¡°That''s a little far isn''t it?¡± ¡°I don''t wanna play anymore, let''s go away.¡± Maha was left alone. Realizing that his skin was too white and girl like, he transformed himself so that his skin was more toned into a light tan. Then shortened his hair that was down to his waist. The hair receded to a much shorter hairstyle that didn''t even reach his shoulders. Maha reached out to the fish again and touched one. Being younger was better. He could touch the fish without scaring them off. Chapter 3 - Identity Crisis. Steelrun City Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Chapter 3 - Identity crisis. Steelrun city. Maha took the fish out of the water, and played with it. The fish struggled, but couldn''t escape his steel grip. After a while, the fish in his hand stopped moving. It too turned into grey ashes and crumbled to bits. What was going on? Why did the fish just disappear like that? Why does no one like poor Maha? Everyone leaves him. Even the children which seem to be more loved by animals, didn''t like Maha. Maha decided to understand the fish better by stay with them. He stayed in child form as he dove into the water and swam along side with the fish. His movements were extremely awkward, but he still glided in the water like a javelin in water. Maha followed the fish, but for some reason they never left the water. When Maha forcefully brought them out, they would leave Maha. If Maha didn''t touch them, they would just lay there unmoving. Once he did, they crumbled away. Maha once again ponder over life and death. What make someone alive? Is it the ability to move on their own? Maha could do that, but Maha doesn''t drown or die due to lack of it. Was it the ability to eat? Maha had no need for it, but could if he wanted to. Actually he wasn''t too sure about that. What was Maha? If you come across this story on Amazon, it''s taken without permission from the author. Report it. Maha is Maha, and Maha will get to the bottom of this. ¡¡ After hours of contemplation, Maha continued to follow the trail of the duo that he first met. Maha passed by many people wearing the oddest assortment of clothes. People wearing clothes that don''t match like a hoodie and a ankle length chain mail skirt. Maha tried to talk to one, but the person just froze and didn''t move, Maha thought that the person had just been a mirage, as the figure became blurry until it disappeared from Maha¡¯s sight. Was that person alive? Maha turned to look at the others, but they too disappeared. Gone. Maha was alone again. Maha felt an identity crisis. One where had had to figure out his purpose in life. What happens once he finds his creator? Will he become a mindless weapon thereafter? What if he dies? Can he die? Should he liberate weapons from their enslavers? Maha began wandering aimlessly away from the path of travel. He eventually ended up at the entrance of a big city called Steelrun. It was originally the home of the dwarves after being enslaved, but now it was full of slaves from all manners of living beings with limbs. Humans went mining along with monsters like trolls, orcs, goblins, ogres, and such. Borses, horses raised to take on burden of good(well liked by merchants), dragged carts around to collect and move all the harvested steel. Birds that were raised like the borses carried the carts off to different locations. The warden, a human, held a phone looking remote as he tapped buttons with a serious face. When a bell sounded out, everyone gave a relieved sigh and sauntered back into the residential area. The warden shouted ¡°listen up you maggots! We are behind shipments by 5%! You will all go back in there are get that last 5% or there will be punishment!¡± A woman who heated that collapsed and cried with her sooty tear stained face. The soot covered her deathly pale face that was nearly as white as the skull that has been defined by starvation. ¡°But warden, the mine deposit has almost run dry! If we keep mining at this rate, the mines will just become a cave! this-¡± sounded from a man in the back. Bzzzt!!Bzzzt!! ¡°AAAAUURGHHHHHHHH!!!!!! AAAAAA!!!!!!! AAAAAAaaaa¡.¡± ¡°Take away the dead body¡± the warden said after ruthlessly shocking the man to death with the push of a button. ¡°Naturally I am aware of the issue you are worried about, but young master burger has demanded that you keep the mining rate up. He doesn''t care how it''s done, just do it. The dwarves had an infinite deposit, and so shall we!¡± Declared the warden ¡°now get back in there!!!¡± With crying and shocking coming from parts of the crowed who wanted to escape, the other people shuffled in the mines again. Chapter 4 - Self-Proclaimed Hero Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Chapter 4 - Self-Proclaimed Hero Was this the answer about living that Maha seemed? This wasn''t right. These people were on the brink of death. They were captured from their homes and then enslaved. They were also people who lived in this city before the Burger King, King of Humans in the Furgeas region, decided to close all business here and force people into the mines. The warden used to be trained ogres, but after the work force was eaten away, or ran away, the Burger King made a human with slave collars in charge. The oppressive atmosphere was too much for Maha, it was like a disaster area of its own. Curious about what goes on inside, Maha wandered inside the cave. ¡°Halt! What is your number!¡± Maha got extremely confused. ¡°Not saying huh? No matter you can tell me after you get shocked for a while in front of your family and friends. Maybe they will join you up there.¡± Power sealing cuffs were placed on Maha¡¯s wrist. Confused, Maha didn''t resist. He wasn''t even sure of what just happened. A man holding a remote with a dark officer uniform can, then cuffed him after asking for his number. ¡°Quite obedient now aren''t ya? Well that won''t change your fate. Rejoice, you aren''t going to die alone. Now get moving¡¡± New slaves came in every day, slave that wouldn''t say their slave number was common. The warden only needed to make an example out of them. They rest would obey soon after. Slave collars were symbolic. It was a magic tattoo that would be imprinted onto the hearts of the slaves. Unless they found a new heart for themselves, they would be stuck as a slave for life. Stolen story; please report. Maha was prodded into a cage that was left at the side of a wooden lectern. In the cage, other people were looking desolate like the world was ending and they couldn''t escape. ¡°Fuck! They don''t even spare children!? They need to die! I will kill them all today, little boy you have my promise. Why don''t you tell me your name and where you''re from?¡± Maha looked up and saw the man who was cursing the warden. ¡°I am Maha. I came from a rock.¡± ¡°My name is Aran, and I plan to become the hero of liberality! I am son of the leader eagle of the blessed land!¡± Maha looked at Aran and his bold claim. ¡°...what¡¯s a blessed land?¡± ¡°...you''re messing with me right? Right!? That was a joke right?! How long have you been trapped here to not know about blessed lands!?! Oh the inhumanity!!! We must purge this land from the evil Burger King, or its people may know no peace.¡± Maha was dumbfounded at Aran¡¯s rage. ¡°You didn''t answer my question though, what''s a blessed land?¡± ¡°Huff¡.huff¡.huff¡*inhale* a blessed land is a land where a holy weapon from the heavens dropped down. The holy aura from the weapons saturated into the ground and all living beings in within a 1000 miles. The farms there always have bountiful harvests, and animals always birth quadruplets if not more. The overflow of food is just the start of it¡. and then the king of the place ¡. He ordained that in the holy lands there would be no war¡. they kicked out the vile burger nobles¡¡ fricking pisses me off!!!¡± The holy lands were abundant in food and resources. For warriors, there were holy veins in the earth that constantly released holy power into the atmosphere as if the vein were connected to the heavens itself. The veins were used on many occasions to summon heroes, on a whim. The act of doing so is now illegal and got the Burger nobles kicked out from the land of liberality. The blessed lands were a perfect place for training, living, or anything with or without a goal. Cursed lands, however were a place with dangers and rewards. The cursed lands could essentially be called dungeons as that what they pretty much were. Although it was well known that 7 of both exist in the world, only 4 of each have been found. 1 of each in the clouds, earth, water, and surface. The rest are in places unknown as of yet. ¡¡ ¡°You got that? Liberality is the holy land of generosity, a land noble in thought and action.¡± Aran proclaimed proudly.¡±don''t worry, as soon as I wreck this place, I''ll take you to see the blessed lands. You can join me on my journey! I, hero Aran, will allow it. I will become a legend, and you can be my best pal, just as long as you don''t backstab me in the end.¡± Maha didn''t realize it before, but Aran was 10 year old kid who showed his excitement when it came to the idea that he will be the hero. Seeing Aran¡¯s eyes light up like that made Maha want Aran¡¯s dreams to come true. Arab had an atmosphere about him. Childish, but also full of confidence and hope. Arab would become a hero. That''s what he promised, and what he ensures will happen. Chapter 5 - Arans First Awakening Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Chapter 5 - Aran¡¯s first awakening ¡°ATENTIONNNNN!!!!!!¡± ¡°These low born brats have decided to rebel against the Burger King! Watch what happens before you decided whether to follow their path or not!¡± Bzzzt Bzzzt. One body goes down smoking. Two bodies¡ 10¡ 100...Aran was going to be number 121. At that moment, Arab got shaky as he turned to Maha, number 169 and asked ¡°Hey Maha, what do you think happens when someone dies?¡± ¡°They crumble to dust and leave you forever.¡± Maha answered without thinking. Maha realized that Aran was 10, not an adult. For him to have so much charisma at a young age, he must be a hero, and Maha had to do something to save him. That was the purpose Maha had discovered. His reason for existence beyond finding his creator. He will be the guardian of the heroes.Support the creativity of authors by visiting Royal Road for this novel and more. Aran shakily looked at the vile creature in human skin who held the remote with a look of ecstasy as he peered at the family members in the audience. He didn''t say anything. ¡°Hey Aran, if you had enough power to break off these seals and escape, what would you do?¡± For a moment, Aran didn''t answer, as if he lost hearing from being nervous. Then with a resolute gaze that belonged to Someone at least 3x his age, he looked up and said ¡°I would free everyone from this place.¡± As if he forgot that he had 20 minutes left to live. ¡°In that case, repeat after me. You must remain resolute through the words. If you trip up on a word, you''ll break the spell.¡± Maha felt Aran¡¯s determination and decided to temporarily contract Aran for a little while. ¡° I Aran Liberality, agree to form a temporary contract with Maha, the Spirit king ruler of weapons. By offering up my mana and qi, to form a connection of trust by which we will be connected. Henceforth, I am thou. Thou art I. We are one. May this binding contract hold until the night is over, and sun hath been brought anew.¡± Crack. Crack. The power sealing cuffs dropped from Aran and Maha. The cuffs became over loaded in power and flew off of their own volition. Just as the number 120th person died, Aran opened his eyes with a fierce look. Holding a Guandao, he proceeded up the steps. He got on stage and proclaimed ¡°I am Aran Liberality! Noble in spirit and mind! I shall purge this land of you vile creatures!¡± Aran had awoken stage 1 courage- the valiant knight. Chapter 6 - Aran the Valiant Knight Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Chapter 6 - Aran the Valiant Knight Brandishing the Guandao, Aran got into an awkward stance and whispered ¡°could you transform into a sword, I¡¯m no good with spears¡¡± Maha slowly glowed white, then reformed into sword. Aran brandished the sword and looked much more professional. As if the person on stage wasn''t some 10 year old kid, but rather a valiant knight in shining armor who came to save the oppressed people. The warden clicked a couple of buttons rapidly. 4 ogres walked from the crowd and surrounded Aran. ¡°Aran, can you hear me?¡± ¡°Yeah but-¡± ¡°Good, this contract will last until sunrise. That means you still have 6 hours to save everyone or run away. 6 hours may sound like a lot of time, but the time isn''t long considering that this place is a city and not just the mines. Don''t be shocked by the strange map and messages that will come up. They will help guide you to finish the task them at the people can''t do within 6 hours.¡± Aran weaved between the ogres and made a strike at the warden, but the warden didn''t just sit around. The warden had goblins throw themselves in front to block the strike. You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story. ¡°Goblins are inefficient, so they can die¡± Aran ferociously slashed again at the warden. But goblins surged over like a high tide, blocking the warden from damage. Aran infused qi into Maha. [Heroic Strike!](he didn''t say it out loud) Aran did a spin attack. Aran was like a light up top as he slowly spun into the darkness of the sea of goblins. Aran caught sure of the warden, but before he could make the strike, an ogre appeared in front as the warden went somewhere else in the tide of goblins. [Leap and Slash](a technique used to strike the major arteries of monsters that are at least double the user¡¯s height) The ogre went down. Aran chased after the shadow of the warden as he continued to use heroic strike. The goblins finally thinned out until there were none left. The warden had ran away while he was distracted. ¡°Look for a golden silhouette or the golden dot.¡± Maha reminded. Aran grunted to show that he understood, then ran off towards the golden dot. The warden panicked when he realized Aran was right on his trail. The warden quickly summoned all the monsters across the city over to stop Aran. The crowd cheered as they realized that Aran was winning. If Aran wins, they could return home. They could be safe. They would be with their family. If he failed, they would have a harder time living. ¡°Hey Aran, do you want a way to end this quickly?¡± ¡°Ob...vious...ly¡¡± Aran replied panting ¡° there are enough people praying for your success for you to be able to use [Hero¡¯s Strength]. The hero¡¯s power comes from his own and those that he saves. Using this skill will combine the power of yours and those that are being saved who want you to win. Combined together, you can have an ordinary slash send out compressed air waves that slice through your enemies. Your [Heroic Strike ] will cut through the enemy like butter, but the drawbacks are-¡± ¡°It...doesn''t¡ matter¡ just¡ do...it¡¡± [Hero¡¯s Strength] {power+1} {power+1} {...} An overwhelming power fueled by the anger and rage, hopes and dreams of the slaves filled Aran¡¯s body. ¡ ¡°Huzzah! The valiant knight! Brave hero, sir Aran!! With his powerful hands alone, he took down the evil tyrant and wiped out all the monsters!¡± The sun rose. The mission was over, but Aran never heard it. The blade that was in his hands was replaced by to balled up fists. Maha never existed in this place. Only Valiant knight Aran stood there. Years later, Aran would only be able to remember suddenly gaining a sudden burst of courage that led him to purge the town. He always felt unsettled about something but didn''t know what. Off in the distance, Maha was back in child form. Sighing deeply, he walked away from the place, never to return. ¡°I''ll have to take a rain check on the promise to travel the world together¡± It wasn''t that Maha didn''t want To be with them. The drawbacks of [Hero¡¯s Strength] is that he will cease to exist in the minds of those who saw the power. By ceasing to exist, they wouldn¡¯t be able to see Maha unless he was a weapon. If he went back, he would be treated as a ghost when thing that shouldn''t happen on their own happen. Monster. That''s the title humans give to things they don''t understand. Chapter 7 - Conflicted Feelings Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Chapter 7 - Conflicted Feelings Maha was traveling again. Maha was alone again. It was something that Maha didn''t realize until he lost his friend Aran. ¡°I shouldn''t have told him about [Hero¡¯s Strength]... No. He can still use that power, but I''m all that is gone. It doesn''t make a difference. It was only one day, no not even. What sort of friendship could he have had with me in that short of time.¡± Rain started to fall. Maha''s eyes began to blur. Rain keeps falling around Maha, but Maha continues unhindered. His current body was like that of a human, so he would be able to train everything a human can use to train. An uncomfortable feeling gathered in his stomach. It traveled through his body, the went through his fingertips. A glowing white light appeared in Maha¡¯s palm. The orb takes whatever form that Maha will it to make. He formed the first bird he saw. It became that bird. The bird flew around. It was an exact replica of the bird. The bird too had been forgotten by its comrades. Maha looked at it and said ¡°let''s be best friends! I won''t forget you and you won''t forget me!¡± The bird tilted its head sideways before fizzing into nothingness. The bird was gone again. Taking this as a sign that he wasn''t meant to have friends, Maha continued trailing the master disciple duo. Conflicted feeling arose from within as Maha debated whether he should even go meet up with those two. In the end, Maha still wanted to thank them before trying to find his creator. His clue was the Burger kingdom. Upon straightening out his conflicted feelings, Maha sped up to catch up with the master and disciple duo. Chapter 8 - 7 ‘Princes’ of Liberality Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Chapter 8 - 7 ¡®Princes¡¯ of Liberality ¡°Master, we¡¯ve arrived at the solunar sect right?¡± ¡°Yes indeed, disciple of mine.¡± ¡°So this is where I will make my mark into the world of immortality. Well first, let''s open a trading firm and check out the cheats I got from the goddess, Dietarn.¡± ¡°Cheats?¡± ¡°N-n-n-nothing. Yeah, I was thinking about where are the cheaps¡ cheap stuff.¡± ¡°...¡± ¡¡ Not long after, Maha arrived at the sect. ¡°Solunar sect? Then this must be one of the aforementioned blessed land of liberality. A tear slipped from his eye, but Maha wiped it away. ¡°Look at that peasant, moved to tears by the sight of the prestigious gates of the Solunar Sect. What a joke, is this the common quality of applicants for this sect?¡± Said a tall blonde handsome 20 year old looking man. ¡°Yes lord Lucifer. It indeed is shameful, shall I go and erase this nuisance?¡± Spoke a black clothed man with bloodshot red eyes. ¡°Heed no attention to those of the peasant class. Reality will judge them in our place. That peasant isn''t worth the effort. I wouldn''t have noticed that ant if he didn''t wander near my vision. I am tolerant and can tolerate this offense, after all, we are about to go greet Lady Uriel. If I walked into her abode with ant blood on my feet, that wouldn''t suit my noble bearing.¡± ¡°You seem to be more wordy today, lord Lucifer. Has something good happened?¡± ¡°Indeed, on average, I am not a man of many words, but the joy within cannot be expressed in words, but the words will help keep these feelings tame. These feelings that threaten to enslave my heart then do a jiggle before finding itself worn out and freeze the day I pass.¡± ¡°Young master Lucifer is indeed fortunate.¡± ¡°You seem to be mistaking something! This is not fortune! I am Lucifer. Lucifer doesn''t receive fortunes, Lucifer subjugated and wins fortunes. I, Lucifer Vanagloria, refuse to be put with the name of luck and brushed off like a cockroach. I am Lucifer! Lucifer is powerful! Lucifer is perfect! Lucifer will become the strongest! I am Lucifer!¡±This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work. ¡°My, my. If it isn''t Lucy getting into a shouting match with his echos. You know, You might wake Sathanus. We all know what''ll happen if he wakes up.¡± A green haired young man with a golden abacus and a pen with a notepad. The youngster had an unsettling aura about him as if he were a businessman who was about to cheat you of your money. ¡°Mammon, keep to yourself you barbaric lout who only lives for the feeling of coins slapping your thigh as you walk.¡± ¡°Why Lucifer those are such mean words. If you aren''t careful, I may sue you for emotional trauma¡ and this law says¡ so then¡. the outcome would be in my favor. Including ¡ I would sue you if all your cash.¡± When Mammon looked up, Lucifer had long walked away. Mumbling to himself ¡°humph, I''ll sue him silly one of these days. We¡¯ll see how arrogant he can be when I sue away his golden hair. I''ll sue the hair off your body.¡± Mammon tsked and walked away with disatisfaction. Maha just continued walking towards the sect entrance, unsure of what to do at those monologues. ¡°Hey was that just Mammon Avaritia? Of the Avaritia clan? The one that owns nearly all the business area in Liberality?¡± ¡°Yeah! I heard he has so much money that he once crushed someone to death with a pile of coins, just to brag his wealth, but then after collected every last coin, and prevented anyone from coming near until he counted all the money.¡± ¡°That¡¯s terrifying¡¡± ¡°Actually, I just made that up.¡± ¡°...¡± ¡¡ While waiting in line to pass through the gates, Maha heard all sorts of weird rumours about ¡®The 7 Princes of Sin¡¯ It summed up to this: Asmodeus Leccherouse-¡®Selentolf¡¯s incarnation¡¯. Selentolf, the Beast God of Reproduction. With the achievement of going at it without rest for one month, He nearly fucked all the prostitutes to death, and had to stop, or so the story goes. The gossiper¡¯s saying says ¡®no matter the quality, if Asmodeus visits the brothel, they will become rich overnight.¡¯ He was well recepted by every brothel he goes to. Beelzebub Gastrimargia - ¡®The Great Devourer¡¯ Given the same title as the Snake Apophis, who dared to devour Ra. Legend says that wherever Beelzebub dines, the restaurant runs out of business and won¡¯t be able to open up again. Once his mouth opens, owners cower in fear. One mouth to end it all. Mammon Avaritia - ¡®Mr. Money bags¡¯ Having been born in such a prestigious family, Mammon grew up dealing with internal conflicts within the family, causing him to be a ruthless character. It is said that his favorite way of taking out his competitors by crushing them to death pure with the weight of his wealth alone. Thereafter, he would count the coins with an evil smile. Belphegor Acedia - ¡®The NEET¡¯ Not much is known about the Mystical young master of the Acedia. It is said that he is a NEET who never leaves his room. The only times he ever leaves his room is when the 7 great families have a meeting. Leviathan Invidia - ¡®The Witch¡¯ Although Leviathan is a guy, he had delved into alchemy so sinister that even a witch would think twice before starting. It is said that you could hear maniacal laughter drifting from his house far-off from the rest of his clan as green smoke rises. It is also said that he would kill anyone who tried to court Lady Uriel. Lucifer Vanagloria - ¡®The Peacock/cockroach¡¯ Well¡ they weren¡¯t rumours¡ they were actually the truth¡ Lucifer talks in 3rd person when he get agitated. He¡¯s is easily riled up. Despite being poisoned very often by Leviathan, he lives using the reason ¡°The poison is too barbaric to take the life of one as noble as I.¡± Leviathan wasn¡¯t the only one who tried to poison him. Sathanus Ira - ¡®incarnation of Ira¡¯ Ira was the Goddess of anger and hatred. Twin brother of Lucifer, Sathanus was born into the Vanagloria clan. Having to share the crib, the room, the table, the friends, everything with Lucifer, Sathanus went mad and easily angered. Because his power rose along with it, Sathanus became too powerful for the Vanagloria clan to handle. Sathanus ended up living on his own, abandoned by his family. Sathanus took on the name of the goddess Ira as his family name. An action only those filled with rage and/or have a task that they will accomplish, even if it means death. Chapter 9 - Giving Thanks Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Chapter 9 - Giving Thanks After taking in that information, Maha decided that he never wanted to encounter any of the 7 ¡®princes¡¯ of Liberality. Maha was finally at the front of the line. ¡°Name!¡± ¡°Maha!¡± ¡°Why as you yelling!?!¡± ¡°I thought I was supposed to!¡± ¡¡ ¡°Follow me.¡± The gate keeper signaled to one of the other gate keepers to come over and take over his post. The Gate keeper grabbed ahold of Maha¡¯s arm and dragged him towards the towers. ¡¡ The guard left, then came back with black gloves with a marble implanted inside. He grabbed Maha by the neck with the gloved hand and stared at him ferociously. ¡°Still gonna keep up the funny talk?¡± ¡°I¡¯m as sincere as I can think of.¡± ¡°Alright then, tell me why a dwalf like you is wondering around!¡± ¡°Dwalf?¡± ¡°Part dwarf, part elf! The gen on your forehead says it all. Only elves will be born with gems, and only a dwarf would be this small!¡± ¡°But this gem was planted in my head after birth.¡± There was an awkward pause. What Maha said wasn''t a lie. The extra power from the gem made Dwargni decide to seal away Maha. ¡°A test subject huh? Sorry about that. The sect outlawed those tests from these lands long ago. I guess not all remnants have been found as of yet.¡± Although it may seem like he was changing faces too soon, the guard was changing face too soon, but the glove he was using was used to sense Lies from people with malicious intent. If the person being questioned had come to be mischievous, but without bad intent and lied, the glove wouldn''t detect it. The guards man put Maha down and turned around to secretly wipe away a tear. ¡°Sorry, It just hurts me so much to see young lads like you suffer. Put through ordeals that you shouldn''t have to come near. The barbaric witches went too far when they tried to forcefully create el- that''s not important. Hey kiddo, want did you come to the city for?¡±This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval. Report any appearances on Amazon. ¡°I came to find a duo who helped unseal me earlier. I wanted to thank them but they went beyond the gate, and here I am.¡± ¡°Do you remember any distinct features on them?¡± ¡°Yeah, the old guy took in a new disciple who does really strange actions and gets happy for no reason.¡± ¡°Ah, you must mean the sage and that kid Tan Ka. It''s not nice to address the sage as an old man. Come follow me, I''ll lead you to see the two of them.¡± The Guardsman told the other guy he would be out for a while. The other guardsman gave a knowing nod, as if this wasn''t the first time this happened. ¡°Oh yeah, I haven''t told you my name, it''s Roland. I used to have the family name Gastrimargia, but they almost ran out of money from eating habits and kicked me out. Apparently I was eating way too much. So I guess their crisis averted after I was ousted from the family. I can control my appetite now, but I don''t want to go back to that place.¡± They walked and talked on the way the the master¡¯s area of the Solunar Sect. ¡¡ ¡°What happened?! Where did all the power from before go!? What happened!?¡± ¡°You already asked that.¡± ¡°No matter I can still retrain you back to that state. It may take a while, but I''ve already made the declaration, it''s too late to take it back. *sigh*¡± The Sage sighed as he stopped pacing back and forth. Senju Tanaka was in the dogeza position ¡°At least there''s something you have proper form for.¡± Knock knock Click Creeeeaak. ¡°Pardon the intrusion! Great Sage, the boy here would like to thank you for saving him.¡± Roland didn''t beat around the bush. He came and said what he came to say. Maha walked forward feeling a little shy. Maha bowed and said ¡°Thank you f-ow I bit my tongue¡ thank you for helping unseal me.¡± Maha felt extremely awkward. He thought about thanking the two, but he never planned what to say. He ended up choosing something that Senju said in his memories. Maha¡¯s scan covered nearly everything he wanted to know about a person. Body, memories, the likes. ¡°Is he¡?¡± The sage gave a glance to Roland. ¡°Unfortunately.¡± Roland replied like this happened many times before. ¡°Sorry kiddo, but I don''t remember you. How long ago were you saved?¡± ¡°Uh¡ a couple sunrises I think?¡± ¡°Just say days, what an awkward way to say days.¡± The sage shudders as if Maha had just said ¡®please pass the catsup¡¯ ¡°Well no matter, Roland brought you so you probably wouldn''t be a dwalf. I am busy, so I would have to ask that you leave now.¡± ¡°Come on, let''s go.¡± Roland pulled Maha away and out the door. ¡°Did I say something wrong?¡± ¡°No, I wouldn''t quite say so.¡± ¡°Why was the old man in a bad mood?¡± ¡°The great sage appeared to be unhappy with the disciple of his. His disciple looks like he had been in that dogeza position for a while. ¡°What?¡± ¡°You''re young, so you need to learn to observe people. If you saw Tan ka, his knees were shaking. He hasn''t been here for long so the likelihood that it was due to fear is unlikely. The only other likely case is that he was in the position for so long that his body started shaking.¡± ¡°Oh that makes sense, you have keen eyes, Roland.¡± ¡°One must have keen eyes if he''s going to do a good deed. Otherwise he may save the villain and beat the victim.¡± ¡°That''s a good philosophy.¡± Roland appeared to be another one of those people. A person with righteousness in his heart and keen eyes to find evil hiding as good. A person like this had no special atmosphere about him, but instead had the dependability that is most needed when you were feeling down. ¡¡ Chapter 10 - the Lazy Creepy Uncle Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Chapter 10 - the Lazy Creepy Uncle Although the moment was awkward, they still walked silently nonetheless. From a distance it almost seemed like funeral silence. Maha looked at a tree far ahead as he walked¡ 10 Monkeys were playing on the tree. One got pushed off the tree by the biggest monkey. There was no pause. The other monkeys kept playing. The biggest monkey kept stomping on the monkey and killed it. The other monkeys kept playing. The dead body was left there. No one gave it a glance. Pedestrians walked around the corpse. It was as if it made no difference that death had happened before them. Maha shuddered at the cold reception that the still warm body was getting. ¡°It''s normal. The strong kill the weak. There''s nothing we can do to stop it. It''s not our fight.¡± Roland seemed downcast as he mumbled out those words. Roland''s eyes momentarily lost all light as if he were possessed. Roland regained his senses and said ¡°Forget what I just said. When you grow up, you must have enough power to overcome adversity, otherwise you will be crushed until you are a walking corpse of your former self.¡± Maha didn''t say a word. It felt too difficult to get his words out after hearing and seeing Roland. The dependable feeling wavered a bit. A van suddenly blocked their way. The doors slid open, and inside was a space much larger than what a normal van could contain. A pot-bellied buddhist looking man with a pencil-moustache. There were lollipops on two cushions. The fat guy didn''t say a word, but smiled widely, to a level that wasn''t humanly possible. And waved them in. Roland stepped forward without even thinking why, and Maha followed instinctively. The door slammed shut and the van phased through a nearby building and disappeared. ¡¡ ¡°You might be wondering why I brought you here. You can call me LazyCreepyUncle. I am what you would call the god of this world. Unfortunately, you were about to follow the previous stereotype of generic novels and repeat the same thing over and over with new people each time. I will not tolerate that. Therefore I have decided to divine a fortune for you two that will change your fate. Rea-¡±(LCU)The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation. ¡°-is that your true form?¡±(Maha) ¡°Before you ask, I''m not your creator. I can''t give you hints now cause, that would ruin the story. I gave you the power to scan, transform, and use your white qi to create anything you can imagine, or scan. Within reasonable limits of course. What I aim to create is a novel unlike the others that have a repeated revenge plot. How boring is that? We can''t suddenly change either otherwise it would be too carefree like those Japanese novels. And in this world I can take any form I desire, and change identities at will.¡±(LCU) ¡°Then can you -¡±(Maha) ¡°Nope, if Aran remembers you, that will ruin the whole awkward entanglement for later on. That wouldn''t be fun at all would it. Plus I''m already pissed that Dietarn decided to summon a Japanese person with cheats again. I just can''t kill them quick enough and make it work with the plot. The darn old foggy won''t kill the faker for tricking him, and I don''t want to kill the Sage person he''s important too! Argh!!! Candy?¡±(LCU) ¡°No thank you. Then in other words we are just actors in your book?¡±(Maha) ¡°Exactly, but don''t worry, you''ll forget most of this stuff when you leave my van. Now, eat the candy and we can begin our divination session.¡±(LCU) By a force that they were unable to resist, Maha and Roland picked up the lollipop in front of them and began to eat it. ¡°Good¡ Good¡ too bad I can''t capture this moment in picture. But I still have my book, eheh heh heh heh heh¡ I can see it now. Heroes force to eat uncle¡¯s lollipop in a secluded van¡¡±(LCU) ¡¡ Once they were done eating, tarot cards appeared in LazyCreepyUncle¡¯s hand. LazyCreepyUncle doesn''t understand tarot cards though, so he make things up. Shuffle. Shuffle. ¡°Hmm¡ this card, it''s the fool. It has the 0. That means infinite possibilities. This one flies to Maha, so Maha will change much¡. I don''t know much about tarot cards, so we''ll replace them with Lazy Creepy Uncle¡¯s Lazy cards.¡± Shuffle. Shuffle. Whoops a card slipped out. Oh well we''ll just change it to the fool. ¡°The fool, again, Maha you have a long journey ahead of you. The fool signifies a blank slate. One that can easily dyed into 50 shades of gre- I mean many different colors. A canvas that is sitting before you to paint your journey-¡± ¡°Hey what''s 50 shade of-¡± *snap* ¡°No talking while I''m divining!¡± A lollipop flies into Maha¡¯s mouth. Roland sits straighter but keeps his mouth shut. ¡°These 14 cards represent each of the 14 people you will meet that can add color to your canvas. The Valiant knight card. You''ve already encountered I believe?¡± With a swish of the giant brush that appeared out of nowhere, the cards flew into a circle. They revolved for a while. ¡°Unfortunately, they each represent a hurdle for you to overcome. The Valiant knight. By being next to the sun, the moon becomes invisible. I believe you understand the meaning of that statement?¡± ¡°Next is the scapegoat card. Through a problem too great to handle, someone must be sacrificed. I believe you will find out soon enough. Remember, as the Fool, you have the ability to fool fate, and perhaps get a better end¡¡± ¡.. That was all of the conversation that Maha remembered. When he came to, he heard the revving of an engine. Maha turned to look. Maha saw a man who looked like an older version of him smile in a disturbing way, then drive off in his van. Maha looked down and saw a lollipop in his hand. A very disturbing feeling, but not as much as the one he got while talking to the creepy guy. It wasn''t just the candy, nor the shady van. The being himself gave off a shady feeling, the one you naturally get when the most disgusting tentacle is constantly ramming at you and touching you all over the place. Not in the good way either. The man seemed like the embodiment of tentacle rape. Chapter 11 - Roland’s Regret Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Chapter 11 - Roland¡¯s Regret Roland blinked and awoke from his stupor. Roland was 22, so he didn''t get a lollipop. He didn''t remember any of the conversation either. Roland once again thought about the monkey that was trampled on and forgotten. He walked over to the corpse, and picked it up. He too was invisible to the onlookers now. Roland brought Maha to the cemetery and gave the monkey a burial. An action far beyond what he should have done for the monkey. Roland whispered a couple of words for the monkey, hoping to help it pass on. Roland turned to Maha ¡°Do you think what I''m doing is excessive?¡± Maha wasn''t too sure of anything right now. The fat bald crept uncle¡¯s words rang in his head. ¡°Scapegoat¡ someone will have to be sacrificed¡¡± Maha shook his head. He was sure that the creepy bald person was talking of Roland. Roland was unique among humans after all. Roland showed kindness beyond the norm. Maha just turned to Roland and said ¡°I won''t let you die.¡± ¡°It''s fine, I won''t die just yet. You don''t need to change the subject to avoid hurting my feelings. It is unusual that I, a human would bury this monkey like it were a human being¡ I¡ I once had a sister¡ from another mother. They¡ were unique. My sister was always so very kind. She would bury the dead, regardless if it were monster or man. She would go to the orphanages to play with the children, whether she got dirty or not. She would always go help at vets and at hospitals, tending and caring for all living beings. She had an almost golden halo shrouding her at all times. Her presence would shine light on the hearts of others. Her presence would actually help cultivator fight off their inner heart demons. As you would expect, she had a lot of suitors. She was what you would call an angel. A being shrouded in gold. A gold that that attracted everyone, yet made them unable to approach. In order to not hurt anyone¡¯s feelings, she would take advantage of that halo to fend off her suitors¡ Battles of brute force aren''t the only ones people are capable of. She had her own battle. One that she did well in. She ended up catching the eye of the Burger King¡ in order to stop disaster, we had fled to Liberality. In the end, my sister still ended up having to leave me. If I could just!... if I had at least part of the kindness my sister had, I would too be golden, then it would be like my sister will always be with me.¡± Maha wasn''t sure how to respond to that, but said ¡°You must really love your sister, huh.¡± ¡°That''s a crude way of putting it, but yes. I do love her.¡± ¡°What happened that made her die?¡± ¡°...it was a mistake. I-I¡ I was gambling, thinking that I had mastered the tricks to gambling. I was up against a devil. I reached peak of human realm, but that monster had cards hidden in his belly. He¡ it was as if he had a whole dimension in his stomach. He switched out the cards while I was watching all the other areas. He put all in, but I couldn''t match that much. He said it was fine, I could gamble something of equal worth. F-f-feeling confident that I would be able to win, I bet the only thing of equal worth, if not greater that I had. My sister. I thought. It would be over in a flash. I would bring back the money. I would see sis¡¯s face and she would smile at me. She would have patted my head and told me that I worked hard. She would then give me a stern look to tell me that I shouldn''t gamble any more, but then pat my head again¡ what happened¡ IT SHOULD¡¯VE BEEN ME!! I WAS THE ONE GAMBLING!!!!!... I lost the gamble. I LOST IT! After that day I would only see sis¡¯s smile one last time. That person was a monster. A monster that devours humans after torturing them. I was tied to a barrel. The rope was long and trailed of and set aburn. The psychological anticipation towards being able to free my myself and save my sister. It was too much too see.¡± ¡¡ 6 years agoThe tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation. Chi chi chi A flame started to burn at the string. The man made a gruesome smile. He left the room. I started struggling against the ropes. They were too tight. I struggled as hard as I could. But the ropes were something else. The fire started to move down the line. There was no choice but to wait. This must be why sis didn''t want me gambling. I got too arrogant in my skills. I defeated all the people in the town before. After trying to back out on the debt¡ Sis! Fuck! That monster is going to kill sis! That guy is insane! As soon as I realized that, I heated the door creak open. The monster gleefully peeked through the doorway. It''s unchanged gruesome face peered through the door. In his hand was the neck of my sister. She was still alive. What does this mean then?! The vile creature laid his paws on my sis, I''m gonna FUCKING KILL HIM!!!! The tied rope around my sis¡¯s wrists and hung her as he pulled out a knife. He smiled at me and said with his scratchy and hard to listen to voice. ¡°Hey kiddo, your bit young to be gambling. Hasn''t your sister ever taught you not to do so? Well I will have her take your punishment. That''s only fair right?¡± The creature laughed again in that vile way that made you hope he would choke on his own spit. He brought the knife close to sis¡¯s face. Then the knife stopped. It poked her face and blood started leaking. I counted the blood drops, each drop of blood that drops, each minute I will and to his suffering. He began carving my sis¡¯s body. I hate to admit it, but the carving would be beautiful, if it weren''t for the blood and tears. I had never felt so much rage before. When the vile creature finished his carving, he laughed and said ¡°Look how beautiful you are now, I may as well play a little with my food before I eat it. Bad habit, but oh so fun.¡± I had lost it. The fire was almost there, but I still couldn''t break free. All of a sudden, a voice spoke to me. Do you want to kill that creature? Yes. There was no doubt in my mind. Then say the contract as it appears in your mind. ¡° I Roland Kinst, agree to form a temporary contract with the dragon spirit, sin of wrath. By offering up my mana and qi, to form a connection of trust by which we will be connected. Henceforth, I am thou. Thou art I. We are one. May this binding contract hold until the night is over, and sun hath been brought anew.¡± I felt an unbelievable amount of power flow in me. I tugged at the ropes and they snapped. All my rage had transformed into power. I immediately knocked out the monster and checked my sis. All she could muster to say at that point was ¡°please¡ just kill me.¡± It was my mistake that made this happen, and I couldn''t bear to let her continue suffering. I killed her. Before mourning, I tortured the beast all day and all night. By the time the contract ended, the monster was dead. So was my heart. I cremated my sis and sent her ashes flying from the mountains that we passed by to get to Liberality. ¡.. 2 years before ¡°*huff* *huff* sis! You''re running too fast! Watch out!¡± My sis had slipped down the mountain, but I caught her in time.¡± ¡°Whew that was a close one.¡± She said ¡°No kidding.¡± I replied. ¡°You know, when I saw my life flash before my eyes, I thought that it wouldn''t be too bad to have my ashes spread here when I die. I would become one with nature!¡± She said happily unlike the dark undertone of the words. ¡°Sis, you are never going to die. If anyone will die, it''s me! And you''ll have to spread my ashes here!¡± We linked pinkies and together said ¡°it''s a promise¡± ¡¡ ¡°My sister wasn''t raped, but she couldn''t take the pain of the cuts, and didn''t want to live anymore. What right did I have to keep her here, I was the one who got her in that mess. We later discovered that it was a shapeshifting monster that snuck by the border to kill people and absorb their resentment. For some reason that makes them powerful¡ I gained all that power, but at what cost? It wasn''t worth it. In the end all I could think was: I need to find someone I could trust to spread my ashes on the lake. That way I could be one with my sister again.¡± ¡°...¡± ¡°I decided to better my life. I would stop gambling. I joined the border team to protect the border from the monsters that would find their way in. Dwalfs are the mix between an elf and a dwarf, but they are also dwarfs or elves that absorbed the suffering of the other race to take in some of their racial features. These people are no better than monsters. They should stay in their forests and underground forever.¡± ¡°...¡± ¡°But that''s when I also thought, I need to keep sis¡¯s legacy alive. If I had even 1/10 of her kindness, It would be like she is with me again. It''s strange that I''m telling you, a stranger this, but it''s what makes me feel better. The dragon spirit Sin of wrath has long left my body. Now, I must look forwards, do good deeds. Keep my head up. It''s what sis would''ve wanted. I will protect the borders, even if I die doing so. Maha, if I ever died, could you cremate my body and spread me over the mountain like my sis?¡± Maha felt dark foreboding and fire shadow, but he swallowed and nodded. Chapter 12 - To Change Fate Supreme Weapon Spirit: Legend of Maha Author: LazyCreepyUncle Chapter 12 - To Change Fate As if by fate, as soon as they arrived at the gate, a guardsman ran toward them and shouted ¡°HELP! ROLAND, THIS MONSTER IS TOO STRONG FOR US TO HANDLE!¡± Roland dashed to the gate and saw it. It was that vile creature. The same malicious aura. The same disgusting face. Same gruesome grin. History had come to repeat itself. ¡°Hey there big boy, you wanna go round 2?¡± It''s voice was less scratchy and more human like. That could only mean one thing. He killed more people. Veins popped out of Roland''s forehead. His eyes turned red. Much difference from the gentle and warm ocean blue eyes he had. Roland''s flame red hair turned white and started moving wildly as his anger rose. Roland¡¯s face distorted until it was no longer what it once was. As if a demon had taken control of him and was about to fight in his place. When Maha blinked his scanning eyes, he saw a translucent dragon serpent coiling around Roland. As if the snake planned to cover Roland until Roland could no longer be seen. Maha felt around his body with his mind. Maha pulled out the white qi and turned it into a dart and struck the snake¡¯s eyes. The snake receded away and into Roland''s body. At this rate Roland would be consumed by rage before he would be able to move to attack the monster. Maha reached out to Roland. ¡°Roland! You need to snap out of it! Was this what your sis gave her life for? So you could die by being consumed by the sin of wrath? Wake up!¡±Enjoying the story? Show your support by reading it on the official site. Roland had a hard time awakening, after a long struggle internally, Roland woke up from his state. During the time, many of Roland''s comrades had sacrificed themselves to protect the border and Roland. Despite being low ranked, they had iron bonds that couldn''t be cut through by concepts of life and death. Roland''s eyes reddened and teared up. Wiping away his tears, he pointed his spear at the monster and roared ¡°Vile creature, I, Roland Kinst challenge thou to single man combat! Doth Thou accept.¡± Maha thought all was safe, but then, Maha realized, there was a crack in the lance, and that monster noticed too. Roland who was reliving memories of hate, didn''t notice the crack as he was too enraged. Maha quickly prepared to set up a contract with Roland before they could battle, but the monster, as if knowing what Maha wanted, dashed in with a charge. The vile creature slashed upward at the crack in the spear. The spear broke. By then all seemed lost, but as if expecting it, Roland used the spear as a staff and continued to beat the monster back. The vile creature lost its momentum in battle and started falling back. Roland picked up a spear from his fallen comrade, and quickly finished the monster off. As if melting, the monster had melted away it''s rough and ugly skin, and underneath was a pale skinned beauty. His comrades didn''t know why he was so sad, but Roland knew. It was his sister. ¡°Why? How did this happen?¡± ¡°Heh¡. heh¡ back then, you were so busy torturing the monster, that you forgot to deal the finishing blow. In revenge, it wanted to take my ashes and transform into me to kill you in my form. After being stuck together for 6 years we came to understand one another. It was like he was another human being. As time went on I forgave him, but because of pride, he couldn''t forgive you¡ Monsters aren''t vile. They too have human emotions, intelligence, desires¡ Please don''t hate monsters so... Dear brother¡ this will be the true last time we meet, could you dry your eyes and give me one last smile¡?¡± Roland wanted to deny reality. To tell her she won''t die. He wouldn''t let her this time. But the words were caught at his throat. Roland dried his eyes and gave his sister a gentle smile. Without regard for the people around, he brought his head down to give her a kiss, but his sister was unable to reciprocate. She had passed on. Roland''s tears fell silently as he just sat there with his sister¡¯s corpse. He talked about everything that had happened in the past six years. He sighed, and cremated his sister the second time. Both times, he had killed his sister. Both times, he had to cremate her. Both times, he spread her ashes. First time imprisoned him mind and soul, but this time it felt like a true release. Maha watched from afar. Feeling it was rude to intrude upon this moment, he sat on a tree far away, observing Roland. Roland remembers him, but if he allowed Roland to use Hero¡¯s strength, he would gain plot armor for the day, and everything would happen perfectly. His sister would be alive. Was it okay for Maha to stay silent about this because of his greed? Filled with guilt, Maha couldn''t face Roland, the sweet and kind Roland anymore. Maha turned away from Liberality and left after whispering ¡°It wasn''t long, but I enjoyed every moment of it.¡± Although this experience made Maha grow, he still couldn''t handle the guilt. Roland wasn¡¯t the scapegoat. It was his sister. His sister became the monster. Maha failed to change fate.
