《Our Cosplay Became Real in Another World》 Prologue Prologue: The surrounding was filled with thousands of people walking about in flashy clothings that isn¡¯t normally worn. This scene, though, was just at the entrance to my very first anime convention. Inside would be filled with countless shops that sells anime merchandise, as well as other anime related goods. Though I would normally be excited about coming since I had always wanted to participate in one at least once in my life, and in fact I was. That was until just a couple hours ago at a hotel where me and two of my friends were staying at. We were preparing our cosplay, something my friend Lily asked me and Armon to wear with her, since she was entering a cosplay contest. ¡°W-why am I doing this again?¡± I said in a dispirited tone. ¡°Oh, come on Ken. The deal was that you two could come with me for free if you two help me win that costume contest. And besides, you look sooo cute in that costume.~¡± ¡°Yeah, that was before I knew I had to dress up as the heroine from your novel. And why me? Aren¡¯t you a girl!?¡± ¡°Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Don¡¯t you see, I don¡¯t have to right body type to cosplay as her, my chest is too big to embody her adorable features! I mean look at that amazing design of the costume and sword! Wait, are you saying I¡¯m girly!?¡± ¡°Hahaha! You don¡¯t like it but you still wore it anyways. Besides, you also have a cool sword and awesome design too, right?¡± Armon began laughing as he points to the pure white sheath on my waist with intricate silver designs. ¡°Yes, it¡¯s true that the design is very good, but I¡¯m not a girl!¡± ¡°See, then don¡¯t complain about it. Besides it¡¯ll just be for today, you don¡¯t have to wear it anymore after we win that contest. Now, let¡¯s get going and explore before the contest starts!¡± Both of them completely ignored me and just went on ahead. I had hoped that Armon would stand in to say something on my defense since I¡¯m his best friend and all, but¡­ I feel betrayed! In anycase, I had to catch up to them because I don¡¯t know where to go and this place was huge. After signing up, we went to a lot of different stalls and shops looking at the merchandises. I say that but it was just me not buying anything. Unlike me, these two came loaded to buy everything they want and also because I was too indecisive to buy something. It got to a point where I had to help them carry their stuff because they have too much. Luckily they had me to stop them from buying anymore. It was still early in the morning and we are still going to look around after the contest too, so it would be tiring to carry all this around the whole day and even more afterwards. Aside from Lily and Armon¡¯s shopping spree, we stopped quite a few time because there were people who wanted to take picture with us. Lily also used this chance to promote her own novel when they asked which anime we were from. ¡°Ahaha. You like these designs? Since we already registered, we went ahead to the back of the stage and waited for our turn. I was actually nervous when I saw how many people were watching. It¡¯s different than walking around with other cosplayers, because now everyone¡¯s attention will actually be on us when our turn came. I hope they don¡¯t find out. ¡°Alrighty! The contest shall now begin so, let¡¯s give a loud applause to the contestants. And we¡¯ll start off with¡­¡± That was the start and I was amazed by the other contestants. The quality of the costumes and workmanship were amazing for a lot of them, but I still think Lily¡¯s is slightly better. This could be a bit biased but there¡¯s no denying that these costumes looks like works of art made by professionals.This story originates from a different website. I feel so embarrassed I want to kill myself right now¡­ but I can¡¯t slip up. Lily really put in effort to making these so I don¡¯t want to be the reason she didn¡¯t win even if I was kinda forced into crossdressing¡­ wait¡­ ¡°Wooo!!¡± ¡°Such amazing skills, look at that workmanship.¡± ¡°Wow, I¡¯ve seen the character design but I never expect her to make the Whitefall Lineage Armor! It looks better than the actual drawing.¡± ¡°As expected from Lily, quite a few of the audiences knows her work.¡± I quietly said to Armon as we walked off the stage. Afterwards was a few more contestants before the exhibition would start. These were also really good, and I also saw a few from animes I¡¯ve watched. It was a while but finally, the winners were announced. ¡°And finally, the ¡®Best in Show¡¯ this year, Lux Whitefall, Rai DragonHeart, and Renna Miller from ¡°The Thunder Dragon¡¯s Flower!¡± Congratulations, your costumes are amazing.¡± ¡°Wooooo!!! Amazing!¡± Many people came to take pictures with the contestants afterwards so we actually had to stay by the stage for quite a while before things finally die down a bit. It was only after this that we could grab our things and continue to look around. Lily had a happy expression the whole time because that gave her even more chances to promote her novels. ¡°Ah, another great gain this time around. I was leaning on the elevator wall as the door closed and waited for it to take us down, but¡­ nothing happened. After the door closed, there was no movement. It was as if the elevator was stuck. I cursed my luck and was about to complain if we really had to carry all our stuff down floor by floor. ¡°Oh, come on¡­ is this elevator really broken? Shouldn¡¯t they be fixed before a convention this big starts? Or have a sign saying ¡®Out of Order¡¯? I mean-¡± Before Armon could finish his sentence, a click resounded before the lights turned off. Next the sound of something snapping was heard then it felt like the floor beneath our feet completely vanished. The elevator was falling down, even though it was just three stories, it was still high enough to kill us if we fell from this height. ¡°Wah!!!¡± ¡°Ahhh!!¡± ¡°Kyaa!!!¡± ¡°W-what is going on!? Don¡¯t tell me the line snapped!?¡± ¡°W-we¡¯re going to die!? Like this!? Nooo, I don¡¯t want to go while I¡¯m dressed like this!!!!¡± ¡°Kyaa!!!¡± I could feel my heart fly out of my chest as I became a little light headed. My eyes were closed as we all screamed at the top of our lungs. Even if my eyes were opened, it was to dark to see anything right now. We could only hope to somehow survive this fall, that seem to be taking forever to reach its end. Chapter 1 - Gale Wolves (1) Chapter 1 - Gale Wolves (1) When I opened my eyes, I was surprised to see that I was still alive, albeit my body aching all over. My head was still in a mess and my vision a bit blurry but I could see light coming through the slight opening of the elevator doors. Next to me were Armon and Lily who were also getting up. Surprisingly none of us were hurt, at least it seemed that way externally. ¡°Ah¡­ w-what was that?¡± Armon said as he was leaned on the wall while holding his head. ¡°!¡± I froze when I fully saw Armon¡¯s figure with light shining on him. At first I thought it was just my blurry vision but now that they cleared up a bit, I can¡¯t dismiss it anymore. He was a pretty big guy but what I¡¯m seeing right now¡­ ¡°Armon, did you get skinnier? Ah-?¡± The moment an unfamiliar voice came out of my mouth, I paused my question. ¡°K-ken? Why are you covering your mouth? What¡¯s wrong, did you bit your tongue?¡± Lily got up too and looked in my direction. ¡°T-this can¡¯t be¡­ you¡¯ve got to be kidding me!!!!¡± I scream as loud as I could, but the voice wasn¡¯t mine. ¡°Ken, you¡­ your voice¡­¡± ¡°Is exactly how I imagined Lux¡¯s voice to be like!! It¡¯s so beautiful, angelic even!¡± Lily¡¯s face was all smiles now, even though we almost lost our life just a bit earlier. ¡°What!? That¡¯s not the problem here! W-what is this!? What the heck!¡± I¡¯m honestly quite panicked right now. Armon and Lily might not be able to tell, but I can feel something is very wrong. I¡¯ve never felt this sensation before, a feeling I¡¯ve never felt around my chest and something seems to be missing, something very important to me. This uncomfortable sensation feels so off. I tried tugging at the wig on my head, but it didn¡¯t budge at all. ¡°Did you super glue the wig onto me Lily!? What the f- Oww!¡± A sharp pain could be felt on my scalp as if I was pulling my real hair. ¡°This isn¡¯t funny Lily, did you really glue it on Ken?¡± ¡°W-what are you talking about! I¡¯d never do that to a friend! But¡­ did you shrink Armon?¡± ¡°Wah?¡± Armon had a confused expression on his face before he realized that they were looking at each other eye to eye. ¡°Actually, talking about change¡­ I don¡¯t think it¡¯s just his voice that changed. It¡¯s kind of hard to tell because of the armor but his skin is even whiter than before, not just his hair and eyelashes that became white.¡± After taking a careful look at me, Lily pointed out some of the noticeable changes on me. ¡°Then, how come you didn¡¯t change at all Lily?¡± ¡°Wait, Ken she did. It¡¯s hard to tell but her hair is redder, well more of a light brown with red tinge¡­ and¡­ umm, well, her chest is¡­ uh, bigger.¡± Armon¡¯s face became red as he said the last part in more of a whisper. ¡°I¡­ I didn¡¯t know you were a pervert Armon.¡± ¡°I-I wasn¡¯t looking or anything! I, what I meant to say was that I didn¡¯t mean to look but¡­ uh¡­ isn¡¯t it kind of an obvious change?¡± ¡°Ahaha, just kidding. But¡­ now that you mention it, it is umm¡­ bigger.¡± The conversation took an awkward turn since Lily was the only girl and we are currently talking about boobs¡­ it almost made me forget the weird feeling that I¡¯m having, not. It kept on bothering me so I started taking off the armor. ¡°What are you doing Ken?¡± Armon asked when he saw it to try and change the topic. ¡°Umm, I don¡¯t know. But there¡¯s a weird feeling on my chest and the armor¡­ feels heavy? Wait, these were made with plastic and coated with metallic spray and not actual steel, right Lily?¡± ¡°Yeah, I wouldn¡¯t be able to actually make it with real metal. Still, it looks realistic doesn¡¯t it, even though it¡¯s just plastic. Hehe.¡± Again Lily praises herself, even at a time like this. ¡°Ungnh, gah. Huff, how do I take this off?¡± ¡°Ah, let me help¡­ wait, did I really go into this much detail?¡± Lily stopped moving after taking a look at the breast armor. ¡°Something wrong?¡± ¡°Ah, yeah I know I added in these details but I never made it so that they¡¯ll actually function¡­ hold on. There¡­ and there¡­ andddd¡­ this should do it.¡± Along with a clank, the armor fell to the ground and I could feel weight being lifted off my body. I began stretching with my arms over my head, when I noticed that Lily¡¯s eyes were glued onto my chest and her mouth wide open. ¡°Ahhh¡­ oh, man that feels good. What is it Lily, why are you looking at me like that?¡± ¡°K-Ken¡­ look down.¡± ¡°Eh? What are you on ab- Ahh! What the!¡± Following both the gazes of Lily and Armon, I came to my chest. What I saw was something that almost made me faint, there were two bulges on my chest. I hope I didn¡¯t sound scared to her, did I? Well, it doesn¡¯t matter I need to have a look around to see if there¡¯s something dangerous so that we¡¯ll know if we should move away from here. Honestly, I never expected that reading all those manga and watching all those anime would prepare me for something like this. I¡¯m still scared as fuck though¡­ As we walk, I could really tell the difference in body frame. My line of sight got shorter and my strides aren¡¯t as far which almost made me trip a few time. I slowly got used to it but I¡¯m still careful not to trip and hurt myself, that just spells bad news. The trees seem endless, yet somehow I feel like I know where exactly we are, it¡¯s weird. I¡¯m definitely not an outdoors person so this makes even less sense. ¡°Hey, Armon. I just realized that¡­ well we all changed into the characters from my novel. Before you were a bit big for how I envisioned Rai to be but now, you¡¯re a perfect reflection of him. Not too tall, slender but still having muscles. I think that¡¯s not a wig anymore either.¡± ¡°Really? What is going on¡­ it¡¯s not like this is one of those fantasy stories¡­ haha¡­¡± ¡°Haha¡­ yeah I wrote about them but-¡± ¡°!¡± I heard a sudden sound not too far away and signaled for Lily to stop talking. ¡°What is it?¡± Lily whispered to me. ¡°I don¡¯t know, but for some reason my senses seems to be really sharp. I heard quite a few footsteps ahead.¡± I also started whispering. ¡°Could it be people?¡± ¡°I doubt so, the sound is too soft, and has a weird rhythm to it unlike ours, it sounds like a four legged animal and a few of them¡­ wait how did I know this¡± Random analysis just spewed from my mouth unconsciously. ¡°Armon¡­ I think that¡¯s them!¡± I was still deep in thought about how I came to know that answer but Lily¡¯s scream jolted me back to reality. In front of us were gigantic about the size of a small car, but their footsteps were as light as air as they ran towards us. ¡°Oh, fuck. Ran!!¡± Grabbing onto Lily I turned around and sprinted away as fast as I could. It was a speed I did not expect and tripped a few times, just barely managing to balance myself before I would fall. This was a fruitless expenditure, in fact it could be considered a terrible one. Instead of finding something useful, we encountered giant grayish wolves with green eyes and patterns all over their body. ¡°Okay, this is definitely NOT Earth anymore!!¡± BOOM. Suddenly an explosion rang right next to us, barely missing by a few feet. I looked back and saw that the markings on the wolves were shining a brilliant green glow as the wind compresses into a dense ball of air that was launched right at us. ¡°Magic!? What the fuck, is this max difficulty level!? We don¡¯t even know how to fight!¡± Just as I said that I unconsciously drew the sword I had on my waist and slashed at the incoming Wind Bullet. The bullet split into two and shot off into different directions before exploding. ¡°W-what was that Armon?¡± ¡°...¡± I just stared quietly at what I had just done while keeping my feet on the move. We were getting close to where Ken and the elevator was at but the wolves were still on our tails. *** I had no idea where Armon and Lily went, since I¡¯m still laying lifelessly on the elevator floor. That was until I heard an explosion from outside that jolted me back on my feet. When I looked out I could see my friends running for their lives with a small pack of gigantic wolves behind them. There was also a semi transparent greenish sphere flying my way too. ¡°Ken, careful!!!¡± Armon shouted but it was too late. The sphere landed just in front of the elevator and blew up, sending the elevator into a crazy flipping ride. Finally landing with a loud thud, I landed on the anime merchandises on the floor. ¡°Oww.¡± I dizzily stood up while leaning against the wall. Actually it was the outside wall of the elevator because I fell out as it was flipping in the air, almost hitting me when it had landed. Armon and Lily are helping me stay on my feet now, but we¡¯re now surrounded by the six wolves that stood taller than us. ¡°You alright?¡± ¡°Yeah¡­ somehow.¡± ¡°Woah!¡± We each jumped a different direction to avoid collision with another exploding wind bullet. Using this chance, the wolves separate us with two wolves for each of us. With how big they were, it was hard to see where Armon and Lily were. ¡°Hey Ken! Don¡¯t let their claws touch you, especially when it¡¯s glowing green! They sliced through a few trees with those claws.¡± Armon shouted to me. ¡°Haha¡­ how else can this day get any worse¡­ I can¡¯t say kill me either, since they¡¯ll really do it.¡± I was trembling, and it couldn¡¯t be helped yet my senses seem to be on maximum alert. Suddenly the wolf in front of me lashed out at such an incredible speed that I could only see a blur. It was at this moment that my body moved on its own to avoid the attack and rolled myself to where my sword was at. It may not be a real weapon but it was better than anything else here. Unsheathing the sword, a white light seem to emit from the sword but I ignored it. With a kick, I lept towards the wolf, a move it did not anticipate and completely decapitated it horizontally. ¡°Wah¡­¡± I couldn¡¯t comprehend what just happened. I had cut through it as easily as a hot knife on butter. Seeing this the other wolf became enraged and rushed me. It moved like a powerful gust of wind, a gale even, completely uprooting nearby trees and mowed down the grass. My eyes went wide in surprise. ¡°How am I supposed to dodge this!?¡± I didn¡¯t even notice it but I had unconsciously whipped my leg up in a vertical kick, sending the wolf into the air before I swiftly disemboweled it. When I was done, the lightweight feeling I had disappeared and returned to normal. I looked over to Armon and Lily and saw that they also took care of their wolves. When our eyes met, I could tell that none of us understood what had just happened.

A genderless voice resounded in my head, with just that one phrase and left. From this I got a vague idea on how I could move like that earlier. Though that question was answered, now a few dozen more have popped up. ¡°Did you guys hear that as well?¡± Lily gave a concerned look. ¡°Y-yeah.¡± ¡°By next fight¡­ he, or well, it doesn¡¯t mean right away right? As in this was just the trial or something and we have to do all of this next?¡± ¡°That¡­ that might be it. In any case, we need to get out of here whether or not it happens.¡± ¡°Yeah, best safe than sorry.¡± Picking up the arm guard and and armor that I took off earlier I started putting them back on. ¡°Ah, let me help with that.¡± ¡°No, it¡¯s fine. Let¡¯s go.¡± Doing some last adjustment on the armor, I fixated my sword into its sheath back on my waist. ¡°Ah, o-okay.¡± ¡°Such a shame we wasted all that money on these stuff¡­ haha¡­ such as waste.¡± Armon said so as he looked back at all our anime merchandises that we placed back into the elevator. With what that mysterious voice said stuck in our mind, we quickly departed from where we came to this world from. Chapter 2 - Gale Wolves (2) Chapter 2 - Gale Wolves (2) Ken: It¡¯s been a couple hours since we wandered off from the elevator but it didn¡¯t seem like we¡¯ve gotten anywhere. The trees all look familiar but somehow Armon could tell where we are going, well more of he knows that we¡¯re getting further away from where the wolves attacked us. It¡¯s very slight but I¡¯ve also noticed that my senses are heightened, not to the point of when I fought those wolves but better than my usual self. ¡°Hey Armon, we aren¡¯t going in a circle are we?¡± I asked in a concerned voice. ¡°No, we aren¡¯t. But, I have no idea where we¡¯re headed¡­ It is strange though, it feels like I have a compass in my head, I can tell we¡¯re walking in a Northeastern-ish direction from the elevator. Well, this info is useless since we don¡¯t even know where civilization could be.¡± ¡°Could it be that we¡¯ve somehow gotten traits of the character¡¯s we¡¯re cosplaying as? I mean Rai is Prince of the Thunder Dragon Tribe and has a great sense of direction. There are other strength he has but I¡¯m not sure if it¡¯s relevant to our current situation, aside from his fighting prowess.¡± Lily pointed out as she thought about his character¡¯s background. ¡°Hmm, when we have the time we¡¯ll test out that theory. For now, if we can just find a river, it might lead us to a civilization.¡± ¡°Yeah, especially since it¡¯ll be getting dark soon¡­¡± When we appeared in this world, it was about noon since the sun was right above us. It was hard to tell with all these trees almost blocking out the sky, but we did pass by a clearing a few hours back. By now, about 6 hours since we came here, the sky is dyed red and barely any light is making it through the foliage. ¡°Hey, speaking of which. Can you guys hear it? The sound of running water?¡± It was very slight but I could hear it off in the distance. ¡°Oh, yeah I can hear it too! It¡¯s just to the east of here, let¡¯s go. I need to refill my water bottle too, though not sure if these water are clean enough¡­¡± ¡°Huh? What? I can¡¯t hear anything though¡­ I wish I was cosplaying as someone with more useful skills¡­ Renna is just an Archmage with no stamina or physical strength¡­ even now, I¡¯m barely keeping up with you two¡­ huff.¡± Lily was regretting her cosplay choice. Although Renna Miller was a powerful character in the story, along with Lux, Rai, and the other major characters, she is completely useless outside of combat. Well, she is pretty good at cooking though, but looking at our situation right now, that¡¯s not likely going to happen. Besides we still have some food that we bought from the convention, it was Japanese bento style food, though it¡¯s probably all mixed up after going through that earlier battle. In any case, the river was actually a lot further away than it had seem. By the time we got there, the sky was already dark and in the forest a pitch black. Again it was thanks to Armon, apparently he has night vision now too, that we made it to the river side where it was brighter. The trees was more spread out so the light of the moon and stars made it possible to see by the river bank. ¡°Oh wow¡­ look, there¡¯s three moons.¡± ¡°Ohhh, such a beautiful night sky! I¡¯d never seen anything like this before.¡± ¡°Of course, with all the light pollution we get from artificial lighting, the sky never gets to show its beauty¡­¡± ¡°Um, guys shouldn¡¯t we be worrying about how we¡¯re gonna spend the night? I¡¯ve never gone camping so I¡¯m completely new to this, actually neither of us has¡­ but shouldn¡¯t we get a fire started at least?¡± I pointed out to the two admiring a rare sight. ¡°It¡¯s too late to go looking for twigs and such to start a fire, and I can let you guys go do it cuz you two can¡¯t see anything once you¡¯ve entered the forest again. Hmm, wait. Didn¡¯t you use magic earlier to kill those wolves Lily?¡± ¡°Ah! Y-you¡¯re right! Magic exists and I used it, but¡­ how am I supposed to activate it myself? I was unconscious of how it even happened during the fight. Should I just try something from my novel? I mean it¡¯s the best I can think of on how to do it.¡± ¡°It¡¯s worth a shot. But Lily, isn¡¯t Renna a Fire Elementalist with only overly powerful spells?¡± I pointed out to Lily as I recalled Renna from the novel. ¡°Umm, maybe I¡¯m not restricted to just those now? I mean, I can try out a simple fire spell. Now then¡­ Oh, okay I got one. Bring forth light and warmth, [Ignite]!¡± Just then, a small flickering fire appeared at the tip of Lily¡¯s index finger. We all just stared in shock at the fire that appeared out of nowhere. Despite witnessing magic already, to actually see one of us use it was a different feeling altogether. ¡°W-what! Oh my god, I¡¯m using magic!!! Holy crap!!¡± Lily was staring intently at the small flame above her index finger. ¡°Ohh, neato. I wonder¡­ Eliminate the shadows, bring forth the light and vanquish this darkness, [Illumination Blade]!¡± A brilliant light shone above my right palm as it slowly formed the shape of a blade. When I grasped my hand around it, there was another burst of light before a sword made completely of white light appeared. This was a magic sword that Lux likes to use in the novel before she got [Blade of Zero, Zenith]. ¡°Ohhhh, my turn! My turn! Umm, [Decree of the Thunder Lord]!¡± ¡°Wait, you idiot-!!¡± Both me and Lily screamed at Armon as he said one of the strongest spells in the whole novel. It was too late, a spell by a dragon doesn¡¯t need any chanting as they were the inventors of magic themselves, if this world runs by rules similar to that of Lily¡¯s novel. That being said, the Gods use what is known as Heaven¡¯s Will. In any case, thunder clouds began forming in the sky as a storm of thunder starts to surround Armon. ¡°God dammit Armon! Don¡¯t let the thunderbolt touch us!¡± Me and Lily couldn¡¯t stop the spell now, so the only option was to jump under Armon since the thunderbolts are less likely to strike him, unless he desires them to do so. Now, within a 20 meter radius, a heavy rain of thunderbolts continuously struck the ground. With a little bit of instructions, we told Armon to make it so that they don¡¯t hit many trees either, less we start a forest fire. After half a minute passed by, all was quiet again and the blue streaks of lighting that painted the night sky earlier disappeared. ¡°What the fuck man! You almost killed us!¡± I shouted at Armon angrily. ¡°Good thing we told you to how to contain it in a smaller area and to not let it run rampant¡­ Huff.¡± ¡°M-my bad guys¡­ I got caught up in the moment¡­¡± Armon replied back apologetically with a sweat drenched face. It had taken a lot of mental focus to make sure we weren¡¯t hit, as well as the trees. The ground was luckily more resilient, but with such a powerful spell, there were still giant craters everywhere. Because of this we had to move further down the river to where the ground was level. ¡°Welp it¡¯s confirmed¡­ to a certain extent that this world runs similarly to the rules of my novel. But seriously Armon, you¡¯re ban from using any more magic. Even in human form it¡¯s still crazy powerful. This was why I decided to use a weak spell to test if magic was possible.¡± It was Lily¡¯s turn to lecture Armon. ¡°Yes, yes. I know¡­ I¡¯m really sorry guys. I just got¡­ huff. Yeah, I won¡¯t use magic again¡­ wait! C-can I at least use¡­¡± ¡°No. Not unless we really need it. Just be careful not to kill us while you¡¯re doing it.¡± ¡°F-fine.¡± ¡°You¡¯ll be fine with your sword, Thunder Eye, anyways. That being said, if we can use magic and this is a world similar to yours, Lily. Then does this mean we also have stats now too?¡± ¡°Ah, Ken¡¯s right! Is it just saying the world [Status] and a screen will appear? Wait no, it was ¡®Show Status¡¯ while thinking about a transparent table with our stats on it right Lily?¡± ¡°It¡¯s worth a shot, actually ¡®Share Status¡¯ so we can also look at them. My heartbeat quickened as I looked at his now doll-like face. Without him speaking she looks just like any other girl, a beautiful face with rosy cheeks and glossy lips. Right now Ken looks just like Lux, silky shoulder length white hair complemented by her long eyelashes and silver white eyes. His figure even more slender than normal and now has an hourglass like form, with smooth porcelain skin. ¡°Yeah he even has boobs now, not too big, not too small, just my type¡­ ah! What the fuck am I saying! Could this be influence from the story, they are lovers in there¡­ Gah, shut up Armon, shut up! Ah, oops, gotta keep my voice down. I also became shorter, though it could still be considered tall because this new body is roughly 6 feet tall. It is indeed more slender than my previous burly body, but I can feel how much stronger it is. ¡°If I had a body like this before, I would¡¯ve gotten so much girls hahaha¡­ I wonder if we¡¯ll ever find a way back. Let¡¯s not dwell on this thought for too long.¡± When I got back I saw quite an interesting scene, Lily was cuddling onto Ken. The differences are mainly color wise, like Renna¡¯s copper red hair compared to Lily¡¯s black, and the crimson to brown iris. D-don¡¯t hurt my friends!¡± An unfamiliar voice screamed out from behind the wolves. It was only after I saw a little girl jump out in front of the wolf I was about to slash that I stopped. She was trembling but I can see determination in her eyes. Similarly Ken has stopped and canceled his magic. ¡°What is a little girl like you doing in the forest at such a time? And with a pack of wolves following you.¡± ¡°I, well you see- ah! P-princess¡­¡± The little girl froze up and fear could be seen on her face when she saw Ken. ¡°What¡¯s wrong?¡± ¡°Y-you¡¯re with the Princess!? P-princess Lucy¡­ I-I sorry mother¡­ everyone¡­ I¡¯m, I¡¯m sorry¡­¡± Her legs gave out on her as she began mumbling to herself. ¡°Princess Lucy? But we need more information. The dirt trail ended the moment it enters the forest. ¡°Well, we did not think things through clearly¡­¡± ¡°Yeah, we didn¡¯t even have a proper plan¡­ I suppose it really is harder to get people¡¯s trust than how the MC of those light novels make it¡­¡± ¡°Actually they did do a lot before they¡¯re trusted right? So shouldn¡¯t we keep our promise and do some hunting for the village as we promised Hana? Maybe they¡¯ll be less hostile if we bring them some food?¡± ¡°You¡¯re right Ken, Armon did promise her that huh? And how about you Lily?¡± ¡°Woohoo!! I¡¯ve always wanted to fly freely like this! Woo!¡± ¡°Ha-hah¡­ I guess you two are total opposite with this huh?¡± Because of how high up we were, I only saw the beautiful scenery shortly before I had closed my eyes. Holding onto Armon tightly I hope this would end soon and regretted my decision to bring up this idea.
Armon: This is such a wonderful and, weird, feeling. To be able to fly and having a pair of wings as well as two pairs of leg. It was all new to me, but somehow they seem familiar and I could easily control them as if I was born this way. ¡°Wooo!!¡± Behind me I can hear the excitement of Lily. ¡°Can you stop that and help me with spotting out something to hunt? We had agreed not soon after I took off that I should remain at a high altitude to not draw any attention to myself. It was also then that we asked if Ken wanted to get off, but he strongly opposed the idea. He said he¡¯ll get used to it soon but his eyes are still sealed, even now. ¡°Man, a dragon¡¯s eye sight is so good. I can see the slightest movement below. But, how long is it going to be until we find something? It¡¯s been an hour now hasn¡¯t it?¡± ¡°Yeah, what happened? There isn¡¯t even any fishes in the river. Even if something did happen to scare away some of the animals when we arrived, it wouldn¡¯t be to the point of driving everything within a 100 meter radius to disappear right?¡± ¡°Wait, what¡¯s that down there?¡± I saw a black figure rush pass a clearing in the forest. ¡°What? The closer I got, the more clear the sounds of bone crushing could be heard. This creature may be a predator of sort since I can smell the fresh scent of blood. ¡°!¡± I barely managed to dodge the shadow that lept out of the forest trees. ¡°Kyaa!?¡± Because of my sudden movement, I dropped Ken and Lily from my back. ¡°Shit, Ken! Lily!¡± I dove as fast as I could and almost didn¡¯t make it to them in time. ¡°T-that¡¯s a Shadow Saber! What is a demon beast like it doing in the White Empire!?¡± Back safely on me, Lily identified the black tiger with wings above us. ¡°Gah! Oh my god, I thought I was going to die¡­ wait Shadow Saber? Isn¡¯t that a rank A demon beast that can only be found on the Demon Continent?¡± ¡°I think we just found the origin of our problem¡­ if it¡¯s this binge eater. It makes sense why everything disappeared. Now the question is how did it even get here? [Heritage of Lux] gives Ken the ability to temporarily borrow the strength of the Ancient Dragon Lux that protected the Whitefall family. In an instant, he disappeared into the forest. ¡°Looks like we have to get serious too. Heed my call Divine Flames of Heaven, pierce mine enemy [Flaming Shot]!¡± A crimson magic circle with intricate seals formed in front of Lily¡¯s outstretched arm. Instead of aiming it at the Shadow Saber in front of us, she quickly aimed it right above us. The reason was soon to be clear, as Ken lept with incredible speed from within the forest. The Saber vanished into a shadowy smoke to avoid Ken¡¯s attack, it dodged while also launching its own offense. Sharp claws clashed with the flaming light of Lily¡¯s spell. ¡°Too predictable and slow! Armon!¡± ¡°Yeah!¡± Quickly reacting to Lily¡¯s word, I smashed my right arm below me. A powerful boom was heard as the Shadow Saber¡¯s body was blown down to the forest floor, where it was pierced by Ken. [Zenith] easily slashed through its body as a roar escaped with its dying breath. The battle was over in an instant.

This was the insignia of the Goldcrest royal family. ¡°Ken, where did you get that?¡± ¡°This was what caused that fire, it completely burnt the Shadow Saber. Nothing¡¯s left of it.¡± ¡°Wait, didn¡¯t Hana mention that the Whitefall are going to war against the Goldcrest!? What does this mean?¡± ¡°It might be time to head back guys. Ken, get back on.¡± ¡°Ah- alright..¡± Hesitantly Ken got back on me as I sped back to Konan Village. They may be in danger of being attacked by the Goldcrest army. According to Lily¡¯s story the Holy Leon Kingdom, ruled by the Goldcrest, is located east of the White Empire. If they¡¯ve managed to get through somehow, then the villages nearby would definitely fall. Though, we don¡¯t even know the exact location of Konan village, it might even be on the west side of the empire and the Goldcrest had somehow made it there. And what exactly are they doing with demon beasts? Chapter 4 - Saving Konan Village (2) Chapter 4 - Saving Konan Village (2) Hana: It¡¯s been a few hours since Princess Lucy and her group has left the village. Honestly I didn¡¯t think they¡¯d leave so easily, maybe she isn¡¯t Princess Lucy as she said? Or maybe she had some other plan for us? Uh, just thinking about it makes me shudder. ¡°Hana, help me hand out the meal for everyone!¡± Mom¡¯s shout snapped me out of my thought. ¡°Ah, okay mom.¡± By now it was noon, so everyone is back for lunch. Originally there were about 300 people in this village but after all the adult men were taken by the Princess, only 186 people were left. Only about 80 of them were adult, the rest were children. Well, I just ride my Gale Wolves anyways, since my Misty is faster than most horses it wasn¡¯t a problem. ¡°Huff, although there aren¡¯t any animals left, there are still the occasional demons that pop up. At least they don¡¯t appear as often now either, I hope I don¡¯t run into one today.¡± At that time I entered the eerily quiet forest, noting but the rustling leaves could be heard. Suddenly a bunch of little green men with distorted faces that had loincloth as their only clothes appeared. They were goblins and even though weren¡¯t that strong, they are dangerous in a group, even grown men can have trouble. ¡°Ah, I just had to open my big mouth. Misty, Lexi, Wolfy, Ari, Meeka, Aki, Onyx, and Breeze, attack!¡± With my order, they quickly went to work, slashing the goblins into mince meat. I remember the first time I came hunting with dad after they found out I had the class Monster Tamer, back then I only had Misty with me. I can still remember my trembling hands as I killed my first prey, I couldn¡¯t dismantle it properly then. I still have trouble with it now, but it¡¯s a big improvement compared to last year. ¡°Hmm, this is pretty good I guess. If the merchant returns we can sell these Goblin core for some money, It won''t be much but at least we can buy some food with it.¡± The fight didn¡¯t last very long, Misty and the others quickly killed the group of six goblins. I quickly put the cores into a bag I brought and ignored the rest. I did pick up some of their weapons though, like a rusty sword, a low quality axe, and a sickle. They¡¯ll be used by the villagers to help with lumbering and farming. The sword doesn¡¯t have much use but can be melted down for iron. ¡°Hmm, maybe I should go kill off the Goblin den again? It might be a bit harder without dad and the others but it shouldn¡¯t be that big yet¡­ ah, yeah let¡¯s do it. Better now than before their number gets too big. Misty, [Track].¡± With a command, Misty led the others back to the Goblin den. It was still only a bit after noon so there¡¯s still some light. I should finish soon and go home before it gets dark. With just 6 warriors, 7 no class, and 1 chief, it shouldn¡¯t take too long. ¡°Phew, looks like it¡¯s still a new den. Their number are low, okay, Misty [Howl]. Breeze, use [Wind Cutter], Aki and Ari [Forest Claw]. Everyone else attack!¡± [Howl] boosts the attack and magic attack of its pack, [Wind Cutter] is a low level spell that sends a powerful blade of wind to slash its enemies in half, while [Forest Claw] strengthens the user''s physical damage. Misty has all three but Breeze only has [Wind Cutter] with Aki and Ari only having [Forest Claw], the others don¡¯t have any spells, skills, or ability yet. With just [Wind Cutter], 1 of the warriors and 4 of the no class died. Following this [Forest Claw] from Aki and Ari kills the remaining no class and another warrior. The others worked together and managed to kill 2 more warriors. Only three goblins left. Suddenly a red aura surrounds the Goblin chief as well as the remaining 2 warriors. ¡°I-it¡¯s a mage!? Misty quickly, kill it!¡± I hasten Misty on the offensive. Goblin mages were rare and can use mid level spells if high enough level, which makes them extremely dangerous. Dad said that he¡¯s only encountered one his whole life and it had killed two other hunters before it was killed. ¡°$#@$@!¡± The goblin chief shouted something I couldn¡¯t understand and then a magic circle appeared. It was an ominous blackish purple color. ¡°Ah, dodge! Dodge the attack!¡± I was a bit late on my command. Wolfy was hit by a black ball on his front paw and whimpered in pain as he fell down. The black ball ¡®ate¡¯ his whole left arm. I wanted to go in and save him but the Chief began chanting again. Wolfy was also surrounded by the warriors and was being bashed by a club and slashed by a short sword. ¡°Wolfy, noo! Y-you goblins! Misty, [Wind Cutter]! Kill that goblin!!¡± I screamed out in anger. Since Misty was higher level, the spell was faster and stronger, easily killing the remaining goblins. Afterwards, I jumped off Misty and ran towards Wolfy, he was a new member to the pack and was the lowest level. I had wanted to level them up so I didn¡¯t let Misty in on the fight, but I was stupid. ¡°Wolfy¡­ no¡­ I-I¡¯m soo sorry! I¡¯m sorry Wolfy!¡± I held the bloody corpse of Wolfy for a long time. I was so stupid, even though dad already told me that a goblin mage was really dangerous, I wasn¡¯t careful enough. Because of me, Wolfy died. I was disheartened but I couldn¡¯t stay very long. I didn¡¯t want to worry mom either, so after I buried Wolfy and dismantled the goblins, I quickly returned with tears in my eyes. Why are you covered in blood and crying?¡± ¡°Mom¡­ *sniff* Wolfy¡­ he¡¯s dead! Wahh! I-I¡­ *sniff* it was my fault. I was too careless when I fought the Goblin chief!¡± ¡°G-goblin chief!? Why are you doing such dangerous things! Didn¡¯t your dad tell you to never do that alone!? Ah¡­ it¡¯s going to be alright Hana. I¡¯m sorry I yelled at you, here eat this.¡± I took the piece of bread from mom and ate it as mom cradled my head and stroke my hair. After a while I calmed down and handed mom the goblin cores I had collected. Afterwards I went to the field and picked a few vegetables and fruits for Misty and her pack. Luckily, Gale Wolves are omnivores, though they prefer meat over vegetables. ¡°Ah, I brought over too much¡­ Wolfy¡­¡± *** Back in the forest, a group of people were hidden by a concealment spell. There were 100 people in total with a few beasts. A majority of them looked like knights with their full armor while 10 of them were wearing robes. They all had one thing in common, a crest with a roaring lion and two crossing swords below flaming wings of flames. The Holy Leon Kingdom¡¯s 3rd Force Reconnaissance Company. ¡°C-captain Lee, The Shadow Saber has been slain.¡± ¡°What! How could something kill it? Even if it is still young, it¡¯s a demon beast, normal animals can¡¯t kill it! Tch, damn now how are we going to supply ourselves? Where¡¯s it¡¯s choker?¡± ¡°Uh¡­ it didn¡¯t teleport back¡­¡± ¡°It didn¡¯t what!? It has a spell on it to transfer itself back to its owner after it burns the corpse right!? Not that long after, another soldier came in. ¡°Captain Lee¡­ the Goblin mage we captured a few days ago¡­ it has been defeated.¡± ¡°Say what now!? God! First the Shadow Saber now this?! I was planning on using it to kill those villagers to level it up, but now it¡¯s dead!?¡± ¡°...¡± The soldier remained quiet. ¡°Who killed it? I thought all the men were taken away to join the army? How can those village women be able to kill it?¡± ¡°A-according to Lieutenant Dan¡¯s choker, it was a girl. Apparently she has a pack of Gale Wolves following her. One of them died in the fight.¡± ¡°A Monster Tamer!? Such a rare find! At least this is something good, heh. Prepare everyone, we¡¯re going to go get this Monster Tamer! We¡¯re going to need the food from them anyways.¡± With that order, all the men began cleaning up their camp as they prepared to raid a village. A Monster Tamer was a rare find, and it wasn¡¯t just this that made them highly sought after. With enough level, even a Dragon can be controlled, a Dragon! It is a being that can rival the gods, though it hadn¡¯t been accomplished in the past 2 century. After all the Dragons had their own country now, and it hardly ever intrudes in outside conflict. Still, wyverns work pretty well as a replacement.
Lily: We rushed back as soon as we could, but it was getting dark. Luckily, we made it back before anything happened, but as we fly over, Armon caught glimpse of a company treading the forest. They were headed for Konan village, but we can¡¯t just show up on Armon as a dragon, that¡¯ll frighten them. ¡°Armon quickly, we have to get there soon and warn them!¡± After landing where we had taken off earlier, Armon began transforming back. ¡°I¡¯m coming I¡¯m coming!¡± ¡°Ken?¡± I called out to Ken who was still sitting on the ground. ¡°I¡¯m fine¡­ let¡¯s go.¡± With all of us ready, we sprinted off towards Konan village. It didn¡¯t seem that far now that adrenaline was pumping through our body. We got there in about 25 minutes. By now everyone was already inside the village, leaving the farm empty. ¡°Everyone run! It¡¯s not safe here!¡± Armon shouted as soon as we got there. Apparently everyone was eating dinner, makes me hungry since we hadn¡¯t eaten anything since this morning. Anyways, they were surprised but after seeing who we were, unpleasant glares were pointed at us. ¡°What are you three doing back here?¡± Hana¡¯s mom was the first to speak. ¡°Not safe? What are they talking about?¡± ¡°What, are you suddenly here to draft us women too?¡± A aunty behind said jokingly, but quickly covered her mouth. ¡°No, seriously. There¡¯s an company approaching.¡± Ken tried to explain. ¡°...¡± The villagers suddenly became quiet. ¡°You¡¯re going to use your army to kick us out of the village after we kicked you out!? I knew it! Damned Whitefalls.¡± Hana¡¯s mother sure isn¡¯t afraid of royalty, usually this is considered blasphemy, but she has no fear at all. ¡°What¡¯s going on mom? I feel quite bad for Ken, he¡¯s the oldest in his family and has a lot of younger siblings so he¡¯s naturally great with kids. His reputation as a babysitter is not too bad either. He must feel bad that a kid isn¡¯t listening to him and is actually scared of him. Me and Armon are only child so we don¡¯t really have any experience with children. Looking at his sad state, I tried to help persuade them. ¡°It¡¯s true. Please listen to us, if we don¡¯t hurry and leave soon they will get here soon. Maybe another hour a most, and that¡¯s stretching it.¡± ¡°We are way behind the front line, how are there Goldcrest soldiers here already?¡± ¡°They¡¯re probably here for reconnaissance, or something similar.¡± Armon replied to Hana¡¯s mother. ¡°But why should we trust your Princess Lucy? You nobles see us commoners as nothing more than trash and toys. This is probably a joke for you people. We are nowhere near the battlefield even if we¡¯re closer to the border than most villages and cities.¡± ¡°I already said I¡¯m not Lucy, I¡¯m Lux! Even if it was Lucy, I¡¯m pretty sure she wouldn¡¯t want her people to die to enemy hands.¡± ¡°We¡¯re not nobles, we¡¯re actually poorer than a beggar at the moment.¡± I casually said. ¡°Yes, yes. Nothing is ever enough for you nobles.¡± Hana¡¯s mother retorted. ¡°Ugh¡­¡± No matter what we said, it was useless, they didn¡¯t listen at all especially not Hana¡¯s mother. Outside we began to ponder how to set up defense. Well, actually it would be hard to set up any good defense with the little amount of time we have left. Reinforcing the walls? That¡¯ll take too long and the villagers probably wouldn¡¯¡¯t let us do it. Digging pits? Well, none of us has Earth magic or a shovel, actually even with shovels, we¡¯ll need more than less an hour. ¡°So, any idea guys?¡± ¡°I don¡¯t know what you expected Armon, none of us has any experience in this field, nor do we have the time.¡± I said so to Armon. ¡°Come on.¡± ¡°Huff, fine fine. But wouldn¡¯t it be hard to place a powerful spell onto a small object? It¡¯ll burst because it can¡¯t handle the overload of mana. Wait, we could use weak spells like your [Elluminate], or [Light Singularity] to blind, bind, and damage them. I can use [Weak Explosion] and [Flame Burst]. And Armon, well, he doesn¡¯t really have weak spells.¡± ¡°Hey, I do have one! Actually a few and even some status spells. On the weak side I suppose [Electric Shock] and [Paralysis].¡± Armon pitched in some of his suggestion. ¡°Alright, this works. Now let''s hurry and go set them up using rocks or anything compatible.¡± With time ticking against us, we hurried to work. There were obviously many failures but with our character¡¯s natural talent, we soon learned to control our mana properly. In about 30 minutes we set up a few ¡®traps¡¯ inside the forest in disguise as simple rocks, pebbles, or even twigs. Still there weren¡¯t that many since we are low level and have limited mana. Still it was enough to spread around the village excluding the front. ¡°Okay, judging from their position earlier, they¡¯ll most likely attack from the back and soon too.¡± ¡°Yeah, I can hear footsteps in the distance, they¡¯ll be here soon.¡± ¡°Same.¡± Both Ken and Armon said with much confidence. I wish I could hear as well as them. ¡°Huff, welp. Okay, let¡¯s get ready then. To position.¡± ¡°Careful guys.¡± Ken said before heading into the forest. ¡°This is our first fight against other humans, but don¡¯t falter¡­ actually I¡¯m quite scared and nervous¡­¡± Armon also said as he left, Ken didn¡¯t hear it though. With that we all headed to our designated guardpost, me on the back right side, from the village¡¯s point of view. Armon is responsible for the left and Ken the center. In any case, it didn¡¯t take long before the bombing and explosions from inside the forest could be heard. It also caused quite a ruckus in the village as everyone woke to a fright. ¡°AHH!¡± ¡°Guah!!¡± ¡°Ah, my eyes!¡± ¡°My legs!¡± Countless screams could be heard, along with the roars of monsters in pain. ¡°Tch, I felt something was off. But who¡¯da thought we¡¯d fall into a trap! Men calm down, use [Shadow Stride], clear the forest carefully! Avoid anything with a trace of magic lingering, even the slightest hint!¡± From inside, I could hear a booming voice, it was probably amplified by magic. Under the moonlit sky, an army of people stepped out of the dark forest. Most of them in full body armor. Pretty much all of them were on foot with two on a mount, well, more like demon beasts. Their armor weren¡¯t like those of heavy knights and they seem to have quite the mobility, but the Shadow Beasts are what really caught my attention. Though not as strong as a Shadow Saber, the Shadow Wolf and Mantis are still fearsome, especially for a mage like me. ¡°So it was you who set up the trap? I thought Captain said you were a Monster Tamer¡­ hmm, no you¡¯re not the one. You¡¯re too old.¡± The oldman sitting on the mantis said. ¡°O-old!? Well, it¡¯s true that Renna is older than me, but 19 is still considered young! And look at yourself first oldman!¡± ¡°Heh, such a shame I have to kill you. Or maybe I¡¯ll have some ¡®fun¡¯ with you first. Heh.¡± The oldman lick his lips as he said so, sending shivers down my spine. ¡°Eww, you disgusting swine!¡± ¡°What!? Tch, fine. I¡¯ll toy with you for a bit, men attack!¡± The 40 or so people behind him suddenly charged. ¡°Tch, not likely. All those within my sight, burst and burn, [Combustion]!¡± It was a pretty high level spell, but it¡¯s max target is only 30 with my remaining mana and it doesn¡¯t affect those with resistances that are higher rank than it is since it¡¯s a one hit kill move. Judging by the looks of the two on the demon beasts, they probably won¡¯t die to it so I chose the 40 or so men charging at the village. In an instant, those I targeted had a magic circle shown on them before they lit up in flames. After which they immediately explode into smithereens. ¡°Argh!!¡± ¡°Ahh!!¡± ¡°W-what¡¯s going on!?¡± ¡°An archmage!? What¡¯s an archmage doing here!?¡± The enemies began to tremble, even the two on their mounts. Wait what, casting Rank B spells makes you can archmage? I thought I put it as Rank A spells at least. In anycase, it¡¯s not like I can cast any more spells beyond Rank C. My remaining mana may only be able to summon Rank D fireballs. ¡°W-why is an archmage like you here instead of the frontlines? Were you stationed here? Don¡¯t tell me you knew-!¡± ¡°Dan! Shut it, we might not be Archmages, but Monster Tamers are strong too! Blade, attack!¡± After jumping off his giant Ghost Mantis, it disappeared. ¡°Tch, not good. [Ignite]!¡± I instantly jumped off the ground, and shouted out the spell name. I wasn''t sure if it¡¯ll actually work since Renna didn¡¯t actually know quickcast, but somehow it worked. In a short radius around me, small fire light up the ground with no shadow. This was to prevent the Ghost Mantis from attacking in all direction. The greatest strength of a Ghost Mantis are its strikes that can come out of any shadow, so I had to remove mine. As I did, the mantis screeched in front of the fire. ¡°Tch, she knows about the Ghost Mantis ability!?¡± The oldman exclaimed in surprise. ¡°Of course, I created it. Now, since I can quickcast apparently, [Fireball x5] I¡¯ll try multicast too!¡± Instead of a single magic circle, this time five appeared. ¡°Hmph, Fireball? And here I thought you were strong. Looks like that Combustion, drained your mana, a newbie Archmage is just that-¡± As he was talking one of my fireball made contact with his mantis and it erupted into flames. It died instantly, almost too easy. ¡°Hah, you talk too much oldman! Even the weakest spell when used by an expert can be quite lethal.¡± I lightly tapped my staff on the ground and my spell [Ignite] flared up into a vortex of flame. ¡°I better end it here, Ken has less AoE than me and Armon, he might need a bit of help. The fire that¡¯ll consume this earth, [Crimson Flare Storm]!¡± Using the fire I already created, I lowered my mana cost, and dropped it even more by chanting. I use a lot more mana when I quick cast and multicast, so this left me with barely any mana left. Luckily, my staff [Ignis] is helping me recover my mana at a faster rate. In the scene before my eyes, a hurricane of fire consumed the entire clearing. Everything inside was burnt to a crisp, but I managed to not burn the forest. Somehow I didn¡¯t really feel anything from killing these 40 or so people. ¡°Let¡¯s go see if Ken needs help first.¡± I thought it was strange but decided to check up on Ken first and placed the thought to the corner of my mind for now. Chapter 5 - Saving Konan Village (3) Chapter 5 - Saving Konan Village (3) Armon: I know that Lily told me to not use magic, but it was too troublesome to handle these people with just my sword. Besides, the sooner we end this, the less likely Konan Village will suffer. In any case, after suffering from my [Decree of the Thunderlord], only the two Lieutenant were left still standing. ¡°W-what is this?What are you?¡± The curly mustache lieutenant asked in a frighten voice. ¡°I was scared for nothing¡­ this is a bit too easy. But, looks like my magic isn¡¯t enough to kill all of you. Some are just paralyzed, it seems my level is still too low.¡± ¡°Wah!! M-monste-!!¡± With their body paralyzed, I easily killed the soldiers. ¡°Now then.¡± I swung my sword and the drops of blood flew off its blade while a smile floated on my face. I had always wanted to do a cool scene like this, wait this is real though. I quickly regained my composure and decided to kill them quickly instead of playing around with them. Somehow I have an urge to though, still I kept my mind clear and aimed for a finishing blow. In the flash of an eye, I appeared before them and slashed horizontally, severing their heads from their body. ¡°Eh?¡± Confused looks could be seen on their flying head as they just now realized they¡¯re dead. This time I didn¡¯t even get a drop of blood on [Thunder Eye], as I quietly sheathed it. Looking around I made sure everyone was dead before I quickly headed over to where Ken should be. I don¡¯t know why but I am overly worried about him recently. Halfway there, I met Lily who also seemed to have taken care of her side. ¡°You used magic didn¡¯t you? I saw the sky light up while I was running over.¡± Lily stared angrily at me. ¡°Ehehe, I didn¡¯t want to take too long, or get hurt.¡± ¡°Pshh, as if a mighty dragon would get hurt.¡± ¡°Seems you did well yourself.¡± ¡°Yep, turns out I can quick cast and multicast. Costs a lot of mana though, don¡¯t think it¡¯ll be very useful till my mana pool is larger.¡± ¡°Oh, that¡¯s interesting. Well, you¡¯re heading to Ken too right?¡± ¡°Yeah, let¡¯s go.¡± With that short exchange, we quickly went to look for Ken, but judging from the sounds of things it¡¯s not that far away. Neither of us even thought of the situation that we were about to encounter. Ken was standing in front of Hana while fighting off the soldiers that ran at them. ¡°W-what? Why is Hana here?¡± ¡°Armon, look. A Crowned Shadow Reaver!¡±
Ken: Right behind the village was a small clearing of the forest, and this was where I waited to attack them. Obviously I wasn¡¯t the one standing in the clearing, that would make me easy target, instead I awaited them on the side closest to Konan. ¡°Huff, feels bad to be hated so much even though I didn¡¯t do anything¡­¡± I spoke to myself as I waited. Not too long afterwards, the footsteps approaching became louder as a man took a step into the clearing. With lighting from the moon, I could see that he was a burly man, and on the chestplate of his armor the insignia of the Goldcrest. Following him were 20 or so men, they also walked into the clearing. Suddenly before the battle would start, my hands began shaking. ¡°Heh, fighting real life people is a completely different feeling than monsters¡­ I can¡¯t shake this unease, but I have to steel myself. Huff, a shower of death, befitting the allies of darkness [Light Storm]!¡± At my current level the rain of light can¡¯t kill them, especially with armor, but it is enough to catch them off guard. ¡°Gah, what the!?¡± One of the soldier fell to the ground, and unsettling feeling surges in my stomach as I looked back to see the bloody mess. ¡°Ugh¡­¡± I felt like vomiting. ¡°It¡¯s an enemy! Prepare for battle!!¡± The leader responded quickly, reorganizing everyone. ¡°Mages, place up the barrier!¡± Shouted another person, she seems to be a lieutenant judging from her uniform. ¡°Come out bastard! I know you¡¯re there.¡± ¡°Tch.¡± I could only kill one person with that opportunity I created because I faltered halfway through. With no other choice, I stepped out into the clearing as well. There was no point in running since I wanted to stop their advance anyways. The moment I did so, the captain''s eyes bulged out in surprise. The lieutenant was similarly shocked, only some of the other soldiers were surprised though. ¡°Hah, Princess Lucy. You¡¯re the last person I expected to be here, was the frontline too tough for you? Haha. And that attack earlier, I was expecting more.¡± ¡°Sorry to disappoint you, but sadly I¡¯m not this Princess Lucy you speak of. The name¡¯s Lux.¡± ¡°The name of the Ancient dragon that once protected your family? Hah, but you can¡¯t fool us Princess, everyone may not know how you look like, but everyone knows only the Whitefall has white hair and silver eyes. Besides, I¡¯ve seen you before.¡± ¡°Ugh¡­¡± There¡¯s no point to this useless chatter. ¡°Since you¡¯ve killed one of my men, I can¡¯t just let this go. Come, Reaver!¡± As he shouted, a dark shadow suddenly appears in front of him. The murky shadow swirled into a vertical vortex and steadily enlarged. Once it was the size of an adult male, a skeletal leg came out, followed by the rest of its body. Although it looks just like a skeleton, if you look carefully, you could tell that was just its exoskeleton. Underneath those bony armor was red flesh pulsating with strength, its skull forming the shape of a crown. ¡°A Crowned Shadow Reaver¡­ why is that thing here?¡± It¡¯s just one demon beast after another, this Reaver is also a Rank A demon beast like the Shadow Saber.A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. ¡°There¡¯s no need to tell a little girl who knows nothing but how to bully her own people.¡± ¡°Guh, that¡¯s really starting to get aggravating¡­ !¡± A loud clank resounded as metal met metal, my arm had reflexively raised to parry the slash from the enemy captain. If this body and its equipments weren''t so high spec, I would¡¯ve died to that sneak attack. The sword that came out of another black vortex, retreated back into it and disappeared again. My head was still barely processing what had just happened though. I-I almost died, holy crap¡­ I, have to be careful or else I¡¯ll really die. C-come on me! My grip around the hilt of the sword strengthened as I sharpened my mind. At the same time 15 of the soldiers had surrounded me and are beginning their advance. Each time three would approach me and attack without giving me any room to breath. I also had to be wary of the sneak attack that the captain would occasionally throw into the fray. Slowly but steadily my reaction and attack speed increased along with my focus. It got to the point where everything was starting to seem as if they were in slowmo. ¡°Hoh¡­ not bad Princess, but sorry we¡¯re tight on time and there¡¯s something precious I must have in that village there. Hope you don¡¯t mind me taking her as you¡¯ve obviously not seen her worth.¡± The Reaver as if knowing what its master wanted, walked into the vortex and before long came back holding onto a shaking girl. ¡°Hana!? Fuck!!¡± I forgot that the Reaver could also use [Shadowgate], a teleportation skill most Shadow type demon beast have. ¡°I wanted to get their food supply too, but from the looks of things my men have been stopped. Tch, this is going to be hard to report to the superiors¡­ but this girl will at least lessen my punishment. Well, I¡¯ll take my leave then.¡± The captain turned his back to leave with Hana still in the Reaver¡¯s grip. ¡°Oh, no you don¡¯t! Lend me your strength, Ancient Dragon, to face my foes [Heritage of Lux]! [Zero¡¯s Seal:Unleashed]!¡± The hilt and blade of [Zenith] fused into a single piece as the cross guard grew out and extended towards the blue crystals that formed on its pommel. The white aura around me also transformed into translucent wings as I feel my body becoming lighter and stronger. In the next instant, I completely vanished from the encirclement and appeared right behind the Reaver. Behind me, the 8 men in my way all collapsed with blood spurting out of their wounds. Without stopping or hesitating, I cleaved the Reaver¡¯s arm that was holding onto Hana then gave it a powerful kick towards its master. The force was enough to send them both tumbling through several trees. As for the mages that were about to transition over to offensive magic after seeing that I wasn¡¯t going to use magic anymore, I also quickly ended their lives. All of this happened in the blink of an eye after activating [Lux¡¯s Heritage]. ¡°Are you hurt Hana?¡± I questioned her without looking back as I was still preoccupied with the remaining soldiers. ¡°Y-yeah¡­¡± She barely managed to squeak out in her state of fear. ¡°W-what was that? I-I thought this was supposed to be an easy mission!? I didn¡¯t sign up for this!¡± A few of them are beginning to panic. ¡°Calm down! Whether or not you like this current situation, our only option left is to fight! Unless you think you can escape that speed just now!¡± ¡°Guh¡­ I¡­ dammit all!! Huuuua!!!¡± One by one the remaining soldiers came at me, as if lining up to the Grim Reaper. ¡°Wait, you imbeciles! Dammit, I didn¡¯t think it¡¯d be this intense. Captain Lee I¡¯m releasing the other demon beasts that were in reserve! Come to me my pets, feast and devour our ene- Ah!¡± ¡°I¡¯m gonna have to stop you right there, [Thunder¡¯s Roar]!¡± A bolt of lightning socked the lieutenant before she could finish her chant. ¡°Ar- I mean Rai and Renna?!¡± I turned back in surprise to see them running out of the forest. ¡°Yo, we finished cleaning up our side, so we came to help.¡± Lily waved nonchalantly at me. ¡°Tch, reinforcement? Jenny retreat, I¡¯ll hold them off.¡± A serious and deadly face appeared on the captain. ¡°B-but¡­¡± ¡°Do you think I¡¯ll lose to these bastard? Go!¡± ¡°Ah, a-alright.¡± After hesitating for a bit she left quickly back the way they came. ¡°Not a chance!¡± I lunged after her but was immediately blocked by the captain. ¡°I¡¯m nothing like my useless men, Princess. [Limit Breaker]! [Galeforce]! [Herculean Strength]! [Ironhide]!¡± A series of light shone off his body as he activated his enhancements. ¡°Hmm, [Appraisal]!¡± Lily checked the status of the captain.

All who were left was me, Lily, Armon, and Hana. Not even the dead soldiers were left behind. It would seem that the Crowned Shadow Reaver took the time we were focused on the captain to gather everyone. In the depth of night, as I was still sleeping, sudden sounds of explosions and screams resounded around the village. Mom and all the adults quickly rushed outside to see what it was and from the little opening in the walls I could see it. I saw a pillar of flames rise out from within the forest, followed shortly by the crackle and sizzle of roaring blue thunder. What came afterwards was a world of silence, then a flash of light erupted from behind the village. Then everything was silent again, and the dark came back to reclaim the night. Misty and my other Gale Wolves were covering their ears and cuddled around me. ¡°M-mom¡­?¡± I called out as I slowly broke free from their hold and got up. ¡°What is it Han- Hana!!¡± I didn¡¯t know why mom suddenly shouted, but it didn¡¯t take long to figure out why. In the next instant, I felt a cold hard hand wrap around my arm, and pulled me into the swirling darkness. My brain couldn¡¯t keep up with the things going on around me since I had just woken up and the next thing I knew, I was in the forest. ¡°W-what¡­¡± As I slowly turned my head up to see who was grabbing onto me, my heart almost jumped out of my chest and a chill rushed down my spine. What was staring at my were two deep crimson eyes that belonged to a skeletal monster. It¡¯s skinless face showed a wicked smile full of razor sharp teeth. ¡°Hana!? Fuck!!¡± Suddenly a familiar voice drew my attention away from the monster''s face. It was the Princess, whom we had thrown out earlier, scorning them as they left. It was a face I feared ever since she came and took dad away, but at this time I couldn¡¯t help but feel somewhat relieved. That lasted only a moment though, because I was suddenly being pulled away again. ¡°Oh, no you don¡¯t! Lend me your strength, Ancient Dragon, to face my foes [Heritage of Lux]! [Zero¡¯s Seal:Unleashed]!¡± A magnificent sight I¡¯ve never seen before played out right before my eyes. A beautiful, translucent white light had surrounded the Princess, forming glorious translucent dragon wings behind her. A similar light covered her sword as it transformed into an ever more extravagant and luminous shape. ¡°Are you hurt Hana?¡± She asked with her brilliant back facing me. ¡°Y-yeah¡­¡± I barely managed to squeak out in fear and awe. Despite the bloodbath that went on before me, I couldn¡¯t manage to look away. With his subordinates defeated, the monster¡¯s master and his lieutenant joined in the fight. Luckily the Princess¡¯s companion was there to back her up, forcing them to retreat. The clash had uprooted many trees and vegetation around the forest clearing. ¡°Are you okay Hana, not hurt anywhere are you?¡± While I was still shaking in fear, the mage with copper hair, Renna came and asked me. I didn¡¯t know what to say at first. I mean how was I supposed to respond to them, them who we had kicked out scornfully yet still worried about a lowly peasant like me. They who had fought to defend our village when we ignored their warnings. The only thing I could do was to beg and ask for forgiveness, for wronging them. ¡°N-no I¡¯m okay, but¡­ I¡¯m so sorry for not believing you Princess Lux¡­ *sniff* e-even though we threw you guys out of the village and¡­ *sniff* and even said you were trying to kill us, you still protected me! P-please spare everyone in the village¡­ *sniff* i-if you must, kill me inst-¡± Tears began welling up in my eyes, hoping that the Princess would forgive mom and everyone in the village, but I didn¡¯t expect the answer Renna gave me. ¡°Wowowow, hold on a minute! Kill you? Well in this world I guess that¡¯s normal¡­ ah! I mean, we would never do that sort of thing. Especially not Lux, he- ah, she loves children.¡± ¡°Hey! I can¡¯t help it that they¡¯re cute!¡± The Princess¡¯s blushing face and comment was something I never would¡¯ve even imagine would come out of Princess Lucy¡¯s mouth. It seems that it truly was wrong of us to think that such a nice person would be that merciless Princess Lucy. Princess Lux is way better in comparison, but I wonder why someone from the Royal Family would act so differently than the rest. ¡°Phew¡­ luckily he decided to back off, we might not have won with our current state. For now, let¡¯s take Hana back to the village, her mother must be worried.¡± ¡°Huff. It¡¯s as Armon says, let¡¯s go, though maybe I shouldn¡¯t enter the village? Hahaha¡­¡± Princess Lux gave a dry laugh with that statement, but I couldn''t let this misunderstanding go on anymore. Lily: When we finally got back to the village, a huge ruckus was going on inside, and just as we got to the entrance, we came face-to-face with what looked like an angry mob. All the women, even some elderly, were holding onto a torch with Hana¡¯s mother leading them. The grim expressions they were wearing only disappeared when she saw Hana. ¡°Hana!!¡± ¡°Mom!¡± Mother and daughter quickly embraced each other as if they had been separated for years. ¡°What happen? Are you alright? Did they do something to you!?¡± Her glare stabbed needles into us as our eyes met. Hana¡¯s mother sure is one scary woman, I even saw Armon and Ken flinch. Well, before we could even retort back, Hana already spoke up for us. ¡°Mom! Please¡­ stop¡­ d-don¡¯t be so mean to them¡­ I-I would¡¯ve died if they hadn¡¯t saved me. They protected the village too!¡± ¡°What do you mean¡­?¡± ¡°They weren¡¯t lying, the Holy Leon Kingdom did send troops. Princess Lux and her friends repelled them, we¡­ we should be thanking them!¡± ¡°...¡± For a while, silence permeated, and the villagers just stared at each other. Finally they seemed to have come to some sort of agreement as Hana¡¯s mother spoke to us. ¡°Come inside. Follow Jean, he¡¯ll take you to the Chief¡¯s house.¡± ¡°F-follow me¡­¡± A boy who seems to be about the same age as Hana came out of the crowd after hearing Hana¡¯s mother spoke his name. Apparently he is the Chief¡¯s son, but Hana¡¯s mom seems to be calling the shots since the Chief¡¯s wife doesn¡¯t seem to be around and the Chief was drafted. We were led to the biggest house in the village and made to wait in a room with a wooden table and some chairs. ¡°Sorry we don¡¯t have anything but¡­ ah, h-here¡¯s some water.¡± After handing us each a bowl of water, Jean quickly exited the room.This story has been taken without authorization. Her expression was even more serious than the previous faces we¡¯ve seen on her. ¡°You three seemed to be enjoying yourself, but anyways thank you¡­ I heard the story from Hana, thank you for saving my daughter¡­ and, heh¡­ Well, I¡¯m truly ashamed with how I treated you three earlier, especially you Princess. Let¡¯s find ourselves each a room.¡± With the whole flow of event today, none of us could stay up any longer so we decided to sleep. In the following day we could worry about our stat points and what we¡¯ll do from now on, since we completed our first objective of finding civilization. Chapter 7 - Our Stay in Konan (2) Chapter 7 - Our Stay in Konan (2) Elona: It was late at night when sounds of fighting resounded around the village. I had went outside to check what it was and saw something I haven¡¯t seen since I got crippled and was forced to retire. Then, as Hana was walking over to me, a boney yet muscular arm came out of the darkness and grabbed her. In an instant she was taken away from me, and despair started swelling at the thought that I might lose my only daughter. A fire I had thought was already extinguished within me lit up brightly again at that moment the Crowned Shadow Reaver appeared and took Hana away. Similar to other Shadow type demon beasts, it can use [Shadowgate], a teleportation skill, but it¡¯s teleportation distance is nowhere as far reaching as a Shadow Saber but much quicker to activate. This means it should still be near. After a while I managed to gather enough of the remaining villagers to come along with me as we were about to set out. By that time though, Princess Lucy and her gang showed up again. Behind them was Hana who seemed to be staring brightly at the Princess. I was surprised to later find out from Hana that Princess Lucy had a sister, and Lux was exactly that person. It wasn¡¯t confirmed, and I was still quite doubtful until I actually talked to her again. Definitely, she is completely different from Lucy whom I¡¯ve met in my travels, but their features are indistinguishable. Of course even back then she had a haughty nature, but Lux was completely different. She felt closer to a commoner than any noble or royalty. Her companion also seem to be quite nice people, although Rai seems to give off a terrifying aura at times. Aside from that they are really similar to Princess Lux, ah well just Lux actually, since she doesn¡¯t want to be associated with her family. Suddenly something clicked inside as I thought about it. ¡°Ah, she couldn¡¯t be in illegitimate child now could she? But¡­ if her mother was a commoner then, the humility and her personality could be easy to explain as opposed to her turning out this way while being raised by that royal family¡­¡± I was about to blurt that out but luckily I managed to stop myself in time and kept it to myself. It was really close, so I quickly excused myself and went back home. But even on the way I thought about it, and considering what they said the first time we met, it solidifies my thoughts even more. Now I was curious as to why she was traveling with such powerful companions, especially that young man Rai. ¡°It must be quite complicated, but¡­ her armor¡­¡± The [Whitefall Lineage Armor], only one person per generation can don it, regardless of gender it can transform to match it¡¯s wearer according to history. But there could only be one set, created by the second Emperor during his contract with the Ancient Dragon Lux. Sadly the Empire¡¯s fallen compared to those times. ¡°Still¡­ if the current Emperor is donning it then is her¡¯s a replica? Or could her¡¯s be the original and his is the replica!?¡± A sudden radical idea hits me. ¡°Haha¡­ no way. Knowing the Emperor he would want to keep it to himself. But if that were the case then who made that replica for her? I can sense a powerful magical force coming from it so it has to be a Master Blacksmith. But¡­ ahh! Now I have so many questions! Forget it I¡¯ve already left behind my adventuring life, I have Hana to take care of now.¡± Finally I made it back home and put my thoughts to rest. Intriguing as it may be, it isn¡¯t my issue so I shouldn¡¯t dig too deep into it. She is also the savior to our little village and Hana¡¯s life. Regardless of her roots, she¡¯ll be welcomed here, and so I finally went to sleep while holding tightly onto Hana.
Armon: I woke up this morning feeling even more tired than before I went to bed. The reason was because I barely got a wink of sleep. Yesterday after Elona left, we looked for rooms to sleep in but there was only two. Normally the guys will take one and the girls the other but things are complicated with Ken being Lux now. Lily suggested that Ken and her share the same room but Ken just couldn''t accept, saying that he can¡¯t just sleep alone with a girl, that he¡¯ll feel guilty and begged to share the same room with me. I mean how was I supposed to say no to his begging face with that body, I just couldn¡¯t. In the end we shared the same bed, and even though we¡¯ve slept over before this is completely different. ¡°Huff¡­¡± ¡°What is it Armon, tired? I just thought you¡¯d have a swell time last night~ Hehehe~¡± ¡°Guh, nothing happened. I just couldn¡¯t get any shut eye, that¡¯s all.¡± ¡°Really now~ I see, I see.¡± Lily was being annoying again while standing at the door to our room. ¡°It¡¯s not what you¡¯re fantasizing right now.¡± ¡°Hmm? And so, we began to take off our gears and equipments since we went to bed with them still on considering how tired we were. You done too Armon?¡± ¡°Y-yeah.¡± I looked away from Ken with a flushed face. ¡°Then let¡¯s go, can¡¯t keep a girl waiting now.¡± ¡°Haha¡­ yeah.¡± By the time we got to the room though, there seemed to have been a change of plans. That¡¯s because sitting with Lily was Hana and her mother Elona. On the tables were also plates of food enough for the three of us that were brought by them. ¡°Haha, hey guys looks like we¡¯re eating first. I almost completely forgot about it with our current situation.¡± ¡°Ah, right we didn¡¯t eat anything yesterday too huh? Thanks for the food Elona and Hana~¡± Ken said with a smile to them. ¡°Yeah, thanks a lot. Thank you Renna.¡± Again we were left alone, and not letting the food go to waste we all quickly chowed down. It was lacking flavor but anything¡¯s delicious when you¡¯re hungry. When we were done, we stacked the wooden bowls together and went to re-equip ourselves. Then we brought the bowls out with us as we searched for Elona and Hana. We found them quite easily, since everyone in the village was pretty much gathered in the center of the village to eat before going off to do their respective jobs. We gave Elona the dishes and was about to head out for hunting when we were suddenly stopped by Hana. ¡°U-umm¡­ can I come with? I-I promise I won¡¯t hold you back.¡± ¡°Huh?¡± We all looked at each other before finally making a decision. ¡°Umm¡­ sure? But is it alright Elona?¡± Normally we¡¯d never let a child not even in her teens like us to do this but considering this world and their situation, we decided to accept. ¡°No problem with me, she¡¯s a capable child after all.¡± ¡°Since Elona also approved, I guess it¡¯s fine.¡± ¡°Haa~ Really~ T-then I¡¯ll go prepare right away!¡± And Hana quickly ran off. Soon after, Hana came back with the same getup we saw her wearing the first time we met. She has on a black mantle over her light gray undershirt along with a dark blue skirt and knee high brown boots. Around her waist was a leather like brown belt with a bag attached along with red and blue potions. ¡°I¡¯m¡­ huff¡­ ready¡­ huff¡­¡± Behind her was a row of Gale Wolves, with Misty at the front. There seemed to be one less though. ¡°Okay then let¡¯s go.¡± ¡°Bye mom, I¡¯ll be back later!¡± ¡°Take care now Hana.¡± Making our way through the village we soon arrive at the entrance. By now, some people were already in the fields just outside the village doors. As we walked by many people came to wish Hana good luck on her hunt. We were mostly ignored since no one knows how to interact with us. After walking past the hill that overwatches the village, Hana tugged on Ken and asked a question. ¡°Umm¡­ where, exactly are we going? Isn¡¯t it going to take a while on foot?¡± ¡°Oh, right. No one knows about this yet huh? It should be fine right guys?¡± ¡°Ah, now that you mentioned it Lux, you¡¯re right. Hmm, it should be fine, probably.¡± ¡°Well, it concerns you Rai. What do you think?¡± Ken and Lily turns around and asked me. ¡°Ah, well I think it should be fine. Besides I don¡¯t see why not.¡± ¡°In that case let¡¯s step back a bit. You can start now Rai.¡± Just like last time, I closed my eyes and concentrated on an image of a dragon, take in a deep breath then breath out slowly. At the same time I could feel power surging through me while sparks begin to cover my body. I had thought it was going to hurt the first time I tried but it doesn¡¯t, in fact it¡¯s quite calming. ¡°W-what! Is¡­ is that a¡­ a dragon!? Rai was a dragon!?¡± I could hear the trembling voice of Hana below me. ¡°Hahaha. Is it that shocking? We don¡¯t have all day you know guys. Just be steady or something and K- Lux, you need to get used to this.¡± ¡°R-right.¡± That was dangerous, I felt as if my heart would jump out of my chest with how fast it was beating. I just can¡¯t shake this unease whenever I look at Ken now, it¡¯s quite troublesome. ¡°Lux is¡­ scared of heights?¡± ¡°Pfft, see you¡¯ve screwed up the great image Hana has of you!¡± ¡°Eh? Hold on tight cuz we¡¯re about to set off.¡± If things keep up we¡¯ll never leave this spot so I took the initiation to leave. With a powerful flap from my wings, we shot off the ground and into the air. Afterwards was a slow ascent into the air, only stopping at roughly the same height as cruising airliners which is about 36,000 feet. At this height the ground is barely visible through the clouds but with my exceptional dragon sight, it was no problem at all. ¡°Ahh, what a wonderful feeling¡­¡± The same indescribable feeling I felt the first time flying began to well up inside me. It felt as if I was right at home up here with the clouds as I look down on the vast land below me. This calm yet exhilarating feeling I get is great. ¡°Waahhh¡­ this is great~¡± It seems I wasn¡¯t the only one enjoying this. Behind me, Hana was looking sparkly eyes at the lush greenery below us and enjoying the wind tickling her cheeks. ¡°Ugh¡­¡± On the other hand, Ken wasn¡¯t doing so well. ¡°Do you really like it?¡± Lily asked while holding onto her. ¡°Uhuh, it¡¯s the same feeling I get when the wind brushes past me as I ride on Misty¡¯s back. A-anyways, let¡¯s search in the other direction this time.¡± Ken began hugging my neck tightly again. I can¡¯t believe it actually made me kinda happy but I ignored it and continued on flying. Since we found nothing towards the direction the Goldcrest infiltrators came from, we¡¯ve decided to search another direction where the Shadow Saber has yet to reach. We couldn¡¯t lose out to the girls, so me and Ken quickly went into action and hunted some animals. Many of them are actually quite similar to those from Earth for obvious reasons. Along the way we also encountered some weak Demons and Monsters, but they were quickly dealt with. Surprisingly I feel really happy hunting with Ken, but even as friends, I¡¯ve never felt this way before. I¡¯m really starting to scare myself. Of course I never forgot to keep my guards up since this was where the Giant Gale Wolves attacked us. My worries went on in vain though, since nothing happened in these three hours and it was already time to meet up with Lily and Hana.
