    But the room''s door was closed and in the video, there were three people. The first to spoke to the video was Charles.


    "They are crazy! What is the government doing? Are they really someone from the government?" he said it to the camera. Then he handed it to the second person.


    This second person then said, "They clearly looked for your latest Artifical Intelligence for Main Aircraft Fighter! But what are they trying to get by forcing us to give it to them? Now, we are planning to escape using the aircraft but first, we must activate the escape door that can only be activated through the center!"


    Then suddenly a loud explosion could be heard from the video.


    Then the camera was changed hands again to Jasmine. This time, her entire face was shown and also she had injured in her head.


    Seeing the full face of the woman made Vera''s heart shook more than ever. ''No...way. It''s really her.'' she thought while biting her lips. Then Jasmine said to the camera, "This is all my fault!"


    She had cried that moment but not because of the injury in her head but by thinking about why she had done all of this. She then continued, "I''m sorry, father, mother for disappointing you. I even caused both of you to die and now even younger brother hate me!"


    She also did these records while walking.


    She poured all of her feelings which was suppressed before. "Even though younger brother was actually adopted but both of you loved him nonetheless and I even loved him but.....why the more the time pass, I started to like him as a man."


    Soon after that, a faint sound from Charles echoed through. "Jasmine, the aircraft is ready!"


    It was so chaotic that the sounds of alarm and the emergency lights started to turn on. Then the ceiling started to open and the aircraft was ready to take-off.


    Then the camera showed only two people at the cockpit. And then the video skipped to the scene where the aircraft was flying above the skies.


    "So you actually like your deceased younger brother?" Charles'' voice could be heard from the video. This time the video showed the front seat that Charles was currently sat.


    ''Deceased?'' Luki then realized that the date the video had taken place and recorded was the date after he died!


    "So what? I already decided to tell him the truth but, I don''t expect that things will end up like this!" this time, her voice was full of determination. "We will reach the place where the magnetic zone is the weakest and then activate the interdimensional transfer system!"


    "Alright then, prepare for the dimensional jump!" Charles announced it. He pressed the button that Luki could not manage to understand before he told the AI to set the energy output to the maximum!


    But soon the system alert sound was heard and this made the ones who watched them stared at the video screen.


    "Missile warning!" Charles used his skill as a pilot to evade some missiles which were successful. Then the next step was to check whether the progress of the preparation was completed or not.


    But after that, the warning appeared once again! This time it was the warning that showed the pilot that the strike would come from the orbit!


    "Completed! Jump right now!" shouted Jasmine. Charles also pressed the button and suddenly the view changed completely and even the video started to blur.


    Then the video stopped working and the records end there.


    "Hey, Luki." Vera tried to call Luki but Luki was already gone long after that. Unexpectedly, he actually went to train himself again without much care!


    ''How dare he to ignore me!'' Vera felt her anger increased and she vented it out by attacking Luki once again by using her Claw of White.


    But to her surprise, Luki deflected her strike with the exact move that she had used. The finger made a form of claws and the stance was good for offensive.

 Chapter 28: The Dead City

    "How?" Vera surprise to see that Luki was able to imitate her. Luki only smiled and then released his Inner Power!


    "Well, I can use this move to scratching those bastards scales and skin. Thank you!" Luki said those words quite honest without minding the opposite party. Vera almost unleashed her anger when she saw Luki gave her his thanks.


    Suddenly her heart felt the warmth from that. ''That is your true self, you bastard.''


    "Is that so? Then we must move quickly to the camp that was located near the Dead City." Vera held her hands at her chin. Her eyes narrowed for a bit because she thought something important.


    "It was the city that my guild also told me to go. What a coincidence." Luki shrugged his shoulders before he retracted his stance. Luki could only guess that something must have happened that even the assassin guild dispatched him right now to that location.


    "But there is a problem." Vera then organized her blue hair once again. "I need a disguise."


    Hearing this made Luki''s mouth twitched. "Aren''t you the general? Why the hell you need to hide your identity?" Luki protested against this because it was troublesome and increase the work.


    "Huh, it was because I doing this without telling my other subordinate. Besides, I instructed my Vice-General to not leak this information to anyone else!" Vera confidently said. She had left prepare for all the possibility that something may happen while she left.


    "Alright, I won''t doubt you on that." Luki walked to the aircraft one last time. After searching for a few minutes, he could find the button that he was looking for.


    He pressed the button. The aircraft suddenly shook and in the next few second, it was getting smaller. It was actually the dimension controlling that Luki had set and then just looking for a good time to test it. Unexpectedly, it was a success.

    But then they suddenly felt the ground trembled and there was the dust flownaround. "Oh, good. Now they come faster than ever! What did you say about several kilometers!?" Luki protested to the ant king but it was just a pretense. He actually felt that he really did not know much either about the Outsiders Beast.


    "So they have some Dimensional Master among them." the ant king sighed.


    Dimensional Master was a beast that has the innate ability to manipulate dimension. The worst, they could instantly jump to behind the wall when you expect them to do a frontal charge, the worst nemesis for the conventional defense.


    Say the old tale that the ant king had read. "Quick, we need to go to the camp first!" Luki gritted his teeth as he forced to do that.


    While they made a run for it, in the camp near the Dead City was rather calm as if there was never a disaster above them. The soldiers that had the shift must keep their awareness to the highest while the rest of them simply leisure around.


    "What''s that? Why there is dust on the horizon?" some patrols eventually saw that. "Quick, report it to the captain now!" the guards patted the comrade''s shoulders to get him relay the messages as soon as possible.


    Then at the captain''s tent. It was actually his pleasure time with his whole woman. The captain really enjoyed his stay at the Dead City because of the relatively safe place even when the beasts roaming around the world.


    "Captain!" someone disturb his pleasure which was bad for that person. The captain turned red with anger as he told the woman who was beside him, "I will return so wait here, don''t be naughty."


    "Oh, you have another job today? Be sure to come back safely." the woman said while glanced at him with her enchanting eyes. Then the captain wore his military uniforms before met with his subordinate.


    "What are you doing, disturbing my business!?" said the captain. If not for the fact that right now they were in one of the safe front lines, he would not reply to anything. But sadly, this was still the frontline and his camp also the outpost so any danger that came to them must be stopped.


    "I''m sorry but there are movements from the enemy at the southern horizon."

 Chapter 29: Assistance (1)

    "What do you mean the movement of the enemies at the southern horizon? Speak!" the captain felt a great crisis in his heart. He could even felt his heart beat in chaotic rhythmbecause of that.


    "I''m afraid that the number of the beasts this time will far outnumber our current troops. And also, there are also some people that want to enter this camp."

    Luki watched it and drew the rough sketches of the beasts that he could see with his own eyes. And then he added the description of their movement, abilities as well as attack pattern.


    Soon after, the archer prepared their bows and then shoot volleys of enchanted arrows from their Inner Power. This arrow flew through the flesh of those beasts quite easy because the beast did not have the hard body.


    "Where is the additional unit that the branch from Nemasu City had spoken of?" there was an assassin that asked this. They supposed to meet another unit here. "Don''t bother looking for them. They need half a day to reach here with the fastest vehicle available so how can you expect them to come right now?"


    The assassin who covered himself with face mask actually felt a tingling sensation in his heart. ''Eh? Not arrive yet. But I clearly feel that somehow, the person we talking about already arrived here.''


    Then they all evaded to the side because the arrow showered the place all over, hitting those beasts within a minute. Luki returned from collecting information to observe the situation in the field.


    "So far, there are some beasts that resemble infantry and the others resemble ranged unit. It was as if the existence of this creature were for games." Luki was confused about this part.

    "Be careful!" shouted the soldiers. When the formation barely formed the defensive stance, lots of shrieks could be heard before it disappeared. This made the situation became so tense that they could hear their own heart beat.


    Even Luki had realized how dire the situation was. "Damn it! I clearly feel something that produced such must in the middle of the city but..."


    But he hesitated to go in. The mist clearly became the advantageous ground for those new beasts and even Luki did not know much about this mist.


    "What should I do?" at this time, he could hear the sounds of the people that cried for help. He found it strange because usually, the beasts would instakill the opponent before it reacts but now from the sound he knew that the beasts dragged them like a sack.


    "Mobile Nest, appear!" then Luki could only think of the most optimal solution. He would call the home of the ants to dig a tunnel that connected to the place he currently right now. He would only assassinate the source of the mist and bail out!


    The earth trembled for a moment before Luki pressed his hands on the ground and he sank to the ground. He then walked in the tunnel while predicting the direction to the center of the city.

 Chapter 30: Assistance (2)

    Luki''s Inner Power started to surge. It was because that he entered enemies territory and he could only act alone.


    "You guys should go back. Leave the rest to me alright." Luki was rather kind at treating those giant ants because of their solidarity and hard working nature, which he really admired.


    Luki also used his other source of power, the Immortal Decree. Actually, he had read the opening words that had been written in the decree. Now, Luki tried to recall it once again.

    But they could unite, despite the difference

    Even Luki felt a strange things came from the words that he had read before. He really curious who the hell create such the decree and spread it to the worlds.


    But he could only read until that part and he did not know the reason for that. He felt that his body was being covered by the layer of the energy that the Immortal Decree produced. He would use this as the second layer that enhanced the first layer that produced from his Inner Power.


    This was the method that he could utilize, multi layered power. Added with his memories about the move that Vera had let him seen, Luki could fight with more aggressive if necessary.


    Sense Domain activated. ''Still no presence here.'' thought Luki but he realized that the position he currently right now was in a plaza. The red mist rendered the eyesight useless and Luki could not see more than a few centimeterdue to the density of the mist.

    But the beast movement also did not lose and followed Luki''s every movement like dancing. Luki parried the claw strike that the beast had launched and in turn, he also used the dagger to stab the beast.

And of course his prediction was correct as the fireball came in contact with the red mist, the mist got burned and increased the range the fire could spread!


    "How about those people outside?" Luki forgot about them due to his mindset. He felt bitter in his heart but could only pray for their safety.


    He could hear the burning sound that produced from something that was caught on fire. Luckily, he had been underground not like the buildings outside. The fire engulfed the entire city and then it started to spread to the corner of the mist too.


    "Fire! Even the beast screamed because of that fire. We need to escape!"


    "I don''t want to die like this!"


    "Let''s move out from the mist now!"


    The soldiers finally retreated but most of them were ended up the same as the beasts that attacked them, roasted to death. Even the smell of toasted meat could be smelled within the radius of five hundred meters. They even heard the pleading from their comrade at their last moment, which was a nightmare.


    But the least casualties, of course, came from the assassin guild. They could move fast and adapt to the tide of battle so their maneuvers were good. The man that became part of the assassin group was looking at the plaza where the fire came from.

 Chapter 31: Assistance (3)

    From the deepest part of the city, from every part of the building around the city, a tremor shook the entire place. It could reach the place where the Dead City right now.


    "Something''s happening again." the lieutenant looked helplessly at the plaza to only see the winged serpent which was the cause of the red mist. The serpent had a red rune that was bright on its scale and also the eyes that it had was actually nine.


    "Someone....is above the head of the serpent!" the young man from the assassin guildpointed his finger at the winged serpent only to attracted more attention to the direction he had shown.


    With the greatsword in hand, Luki infused his Inner Power that still weak to the sword. "I tell you about it right? I will find you and I will....KILL YOU!" said Luki while brandishing his sword.


    The momentum soon made the head of the serpent injured but at the same time, Luki got blown up to the sky! He felt like being crushed by a mountain but he already made his greatsword as a shield and from the sword, an azure color energy flowed within the blade.


    The winged serpent did not let this opportunity and seized the initiative to strike Luki while he was unable to move freely in the air. But Luki just letit happen without much resistance and the serpent also let out the concentrated red mist toward Luki.


    Luki brandished his greatsword, his muscle bulged and the momentum caused the energy from the sword to flown An azure sword energy slashed the mist and went directly to the winged serpent. The speed of that sword energy could not be matched by the winged serpent and severed one of the wings.


    The pain caused it to screamed in agony. Luki already descended and welcomed the moment where the fell winged serpent was.

    "Where you ask? Of course from the Dead City that was just a few kilometers from here," said Luki calmly but in his mind, he was worrying for the beasts to overwhelm the entire city and razed the camp there.


    "Hah? You came from the Dead City and yet you suddenly appeared here. What did you do here?" one of the masked men that Luki could recognize as a member of the assassin guild asked him. The Inner Power this person possessed was at the second stage, the Development Stage.


    "Why are you asking while the one that almost defeated by them is you~?" Luki opened wide his arms and shrugged his shoulders. This was clearly a provocation!


    "Do you want to sow discord among my unit?" the lieutenant was stared at Luki with his eyes that could be narrowed as thin as a line. But another surprise soon arrived because the unit from Nemasu city had come.


    "Why is there so much toasted and roasted corpses around here?" Ferum walked towards the plaza with his unit. Then they saw the crowd that formed in front of him already.


    But when they walked towards them, a figure stood out from the rest of them. This figure was the one that every person from Ferum''s unit talked about recently.


    "Luki!" shouted Ferum. Luki smiled faintly before waved his hands to them. This made the crowd turned their head to see who Luki was waving at. When they realized that he was waving at the certain group that also had the same clothes as the assassin guild, their mouth was opened wide.

    "Ah! Uncle Ferum, I don''t know why you are here." replied the lieutenant but Ferum kept his mouth opened.

    "What does this mean, Ferum?" a sudden strike from the back made everyone surprised. Even Luki could barely see the shadow. ''I''m wondering why that person still threatens me instead of just killing me. Is it because of a certain matter?''


    "Easy, easy. You know that I''m not a threat to you yet you still attack me." Ferum just stood still in his position. Then the weapon that the attacker used finally revealed itself, a medium sized needle.


    "What do you mean ''not a threat''?" the man with the mask spoke to Ferum in annoyance.


    Then Luki realized that all of this was just a warm chatting among the old friends. But he then could felt something was wrong. He glanced toward the direction where the Dead City was placed and his eyes stared there for a long time.


    "What is actually the condition from human side and the beast side?" Luki wondered about this for a long time. Every opponent that he had fought was no mean weak but it was just the most common beasts instead of theirstronger beast. This made him wonder and at the same time, felt a sense of crisis.

 Chapter 32: The Beasts Attack The City

    At the Dead City, north encampment.


    "Do you not hear me clearly? I said that we had to defend this camp no matter what!" said Vera while facing the captain that currently became the leader in this camp. Actually, she had requested this because currently, this was the war time and the most important thing to realize was the beasts already moved out.


    "But how!? They will arrive at the entrance when the sun is almost at its lowest point. It means that our sights will be rendered useless and not only that but we lose our only hope to defend this place." the captain also had his own way to deal with this kind of problem.


    ''It''s true that from the report that the Kreig Kingdom had gathered, this kind of beast can even move at night unhindered! Furthermore, we don''t have something to fight with them in the darkness. Even with the good person that have strong capabilities to contend against hundred or even thousand of them, it will be for naught.''


    This was one of the reasons why she decided to visit the tomb from the ancient god to find a method to fight against the beasts and if possible, strengthened herself.


    Vera then glanced at the surrounding before returned her stare to the captain that stood still in his place. Both of them now were in a heated discussion about how to defend the camp!

    Suddenly he felt some connection with his colony. It turned out that Luki called their assistance and summoned MobileNest to do something together with his worker unit.


    ''The Serpent Outpost!'' the ant king suddenly realized that the winged serpent that his colony felt was actually a Serpent Outpost. This kind of serpent actually had the innate ability to noticed any signs of threat in a radius of five kilometers. But that was not the worse part.


    It was actually the other innate ability to produce the red mist which the serpent could customize at will.


    ''If this serpent already felt the danger, why it was still silent and let the camp still exist and even let them launch a campaign against them unless....'' the ant king had the thought of the Outsiders Beast started to understand the art of war.


    "Not good, they''re here." the ant king''s prediction turned into reality as some worms appeared from underground. The ant king used his human form in synchronization to move and kill some of the worms. But unfortunately, some unaware guards had fallen to these worms and even their scream only released little to no sound.


    "The beasts overranthe entire city!" someone exclaimed in that moment. This marked the worst hour in the battle and now that the beasts were right in their front door while they were unprepared, they could only run as far as their legs allowed.

    "What, already!?" the captain felt annoyed by all of this matter but he could only do what he was supposed to do. So he took his blade and emitted his aura.


    Then Vera also followed him but the captain then turned to her and said, "Can you fight?"


    Vera only nodded and then both of them prepared to fight with their spirit! Even though the captain could not understand how can such person could fight with the beasts that already formed the sea of monsters. But in the end, he only added it as a bonus in this dire situation.


    "Captain, please help us!" there were few soldiers that got their lucky better and started to attack the worms that appeared from underground. Their weapon full of the blood from the worms and even mixed with it some internal parts from the worms.


    Then the captain gripped his sword and used his aura to release his energy from his body to the blade. He swung his blade to the ground and then a shockwave was created! This shockwave eventually made the ground cracked and shook before something came out from the ground at the same time.


    "Fall back!" Vera could feel the huge presence underground. The captain heard that and stepped backward five times before they could see that a large mouth appeared on the ground. The ground sunk when the mouth appeared and even the other worms gathered around the mouth.


    The ant king looked at the mouth that have circular shaped and the teeth that also in there. "It''s that worm!"


    What started as a battle now turned into mayhem. Then the large worm which its mouth appeared on the ground jumped out from the ground. Now everyone present could see its enormous body moved up and down, striking anything that stands in its way.


    Vera tried to attack the large worm and prepared her strike. She released her martial aura before launching her strike towards the surface of its body.


    "Skin Scratcher!" she used her nails which were enveloped by the aura to test the defense of the worm. But as expected, her strike did not leave any marks and that made her expression turned for the worse.


    "It failed. This worm really tough on the outside!" Vera already prepared another plan to take this worm down but the captain who was fighting suddenly saw something else. There was a figure that stood at the top of the worm. His black hair could make anyone who sees it recognize the person.


    "So this is really that worm." said the ant king. He used his sense to smell the scent of the worm then he analyzed the morphology of the worm.


    "Sadly your opponent is me after all." the ant king then glanced down to see the first wave of the beasts started to pour down at the Dead City. Now the city became livelier by the sound of the battle that ongoing in the surrounding camp.


    "Watch this!" the ant king''s sound echoed through the city and could be heard by every living being there. But this was also the message that he had intended to sent to Vera. Because this was the highest mastery level at White Tiger martial arts and he even showed Vera the true Claw of White.


    The ant king used his fingers to formed a claw-like stance before he proceeded with his attack. The claws penetrated the outerskin and even the flesh also had followed because of the power behind.


    Because of the pain, the worm that already surfaced decided to submerged again to the ground!


    ''It''s really strong!'' Vera soon took a closer distance to the worm''s body. She had already seen the technique that the ant king used was always in the state that she currently unable to reach!


    ''What should I do with my finger again?'' recreated the scene where the ant king used his fingers only without even using his martial aura, Vera also tried to do the same.

    Vera did what she can and now that she moved to tried her move, she also made her finger into claw-like, striking down the last bit of the worm''s body before it fully submerged again due to the strike from both Vera and the ant king.


    While the captain still slashed his sword against the numerous beasts that coming to his direction, he took a look at where Vera was.


    ''So far I killed fifty of them. But what about that worm? Why that person decided to go there?''


    The captain thought about it and then he just decided to defend this place. There was no other choice anyways and he had sent the message to the nearby camp.


    "Everyone! regroup at the center of the camp!" he did not know what to do but at least he needed to gather what he could to prolong the time.


    And then every person that still standing now moved with their tattered armor and weapon. The smell of blood lingered in the air, and the atmosphere became much denser in that place.


    Then Vera and the ant king met. "Do you have a solution for this?" the ant king asked. But Vera now in a dilemma because she did not want to reveal her identity right now until she returns to her place.


    "I can''t think of it for now. But if only I can use my full power here then this problem can be solved faster," said Vera while putting her hand on her chin.


    "Or if Luki comes here and use his vehicle to support us then it is possible." she added.
