《Entity(dropped)》 Unfair World Jayden lived a very unfortunate life filled with unjust people and two abusive parents. He could remember so clearly the day his father drove off a cliff on a highway that ran along the coast of California. On that day Jayden was playing chess with himself in the basement of a small old house tucked far into a street corner. His holo pad sat next to his chess board vibrating, and shaking the table. He had recieved a random message on his holo pad, and was about to read it. however right before he could take a look at the message his mom came down the stairs clearly drunk, and in the same fowl mood as usual. For some reason something was very different about the way she was looking at him. Jayden chose not to say anything about her being drunk because he knew that if he complained it his mom would get angry and beat him. He was already having a very hard time at work because of the bruises, and didn''t want the manager getting into his business. He had enough problems and didn''t need someone else''s help. However those blood shot eyes that wouldnt let up started to make him feel very uneasy. Jayden looked down towards his feet but his eyes stopped at is moms waist, and discovered that her right hand was behind her back clearly hiding something. It was only when Jayden noticed a silver glint in the mirror behind his mom that he discovered exactly what it was that she was trying so hard to conceal.A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation. She opened her mouth for a brief moment as if wanting to say something, but after seeing the horror on Jayden''s face she closed her mouth and smirked. The calm look on Jayden''s face turned into one of despair. He knew that his mom who had no qualms beating him in front of other people, wouldn''t hesitate trying to kill him. Knowing just how desperate the situation was Jayden launched himself at his mother hoping to stop her from pulling the gun on him. However pain shot through his lower body as soon as he tried to stand up. His mom had beaten him senseless the night before, and unfortunately his legs took the brunt of the beating. If it wasn''t for his swollen legs Jayden could have had a better chance at stopping her, but unfortunately he was shot three times in his stomach and chest mid hobble. Sprawled out on the ground, and choking on his own blood, Jayden was about to black out but not before hearing one last loud bang followed by a soft thud, and the weight of something warm smothering his body. Filled with shock, and unimaginable pain from being shot in the stomach, he was surprised that the pain was slowly starting to faid away. Jayden who was bleeding out from three different wholes in his chest thought that this was the end to the cruel joke that was his life. However through one last act of desperation, Jayden turned his hole ridden body as much as he could turn it so that he could read the final message he received on his holo pad. Upon reading the first few lines a single tear made its way down the side of his face. All Jayden could think before he finally blacked out was, ''Life truly is...unfair''. ? False Savior The owner of the worlds best virtual reality gaming company -Rose-, was a very famous, and powerful man named Clint Roze. You could go to any street corner and hear people mentioning his name at least once. Though he was a very famous man, not much could be said about him. Just like any other person with an immeasurable amount of money, Clint chose to hide his true identity from the public, and even would hide his face behind an intricate looking mask while being interviewed. Right now Clint was looking at a message he received on his holo pad, a small gleam of light formed in his already shiny green eyes, created by the reflection of light coming from the translucent holo pad. A man Wearing a dark gray suit and tie walked into the immaculate penthouse room that Clint made into a private office. Unlike Clint who had sparkly green eyes, the sharply dressed man had dark soulless eyes that looked almost haunting. Clint waved his hand at the man without so much as looking up from his holo pad, a look of uninterest clearly showing on Clint''s face. "Martin can''t you see I''m busy?." Clint tried to shoo away the sharply dressed man whose true name was unkown, but liked to be adressed as Martin. He sat down on a Fancy leather chair next to the bizzare tiger striped couch Clint was laying on. A slight frown formed on Martins face, now making him look even more creepy. "Clint, whenever you get that look on your face I know your up to something unusual, and I really don''t want to have to clean up anymore of your ''mistakes'' ." Martin said while looking very unpleased. Often times Clint would do something very stupid, and it was up to Martin to clean up the mess. "Nonsense, I have just found someone that has (un)willingly offered their body up for a simple experiment, do you mind sending down an order to put my new toy into a VR pod?" Clint said rather anxiously. The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident. Martin looked over Clint''s shoulder at his holo pad wanting to know what exactly Clint was so exited about. "Your interested in a half dead kid whose balls haven''t even dropped yet?" Martin said in a rather crude tone. Why would Clint put any interest in a kid who was found nearly dead in a basement? "It doesn''t matter if he is young or that he is peralized, the only thing that matters is he has amnesia and could be easely manipulated into fallowing orders". Clint said, a dirty grin formed on his face as he thought of all the things he could do with his new little experiment. Now that Clint had a kid with amnesia, he could get past some of the laws set by the Virtual Reality Safe Player Associations, otherwise known as the VRSPA. They put up rules that forbid the the creators of virtual reality games from abusing there powers, and only allowed them certain limited game rights. Because of this Clint couldn''t act like an all powerful being while playing HIS game, and could only take over the VR world from the shadows. Clint was absolutely certain that this kid would be the ultimate stepping stone that would put him on the rode to virtual god hood. However If he knew just how frightening the kid would soon become, Clint wouldn''t have put any effort into saving him. Calm Before The Storm Clints penthouse office was at the very top of the -Rose- enterprise building. One of the biggest buildings in the city of Los Angeles. It''s hight was just over two hundred floors, and was still under construction. While Clint was daydreaming about all the sick and twisted things he was going to do with his new little toy, Martin had to go to the lowest floor of the building located hundreds of feet underground. The reason for the last couple floors being so far underground was because Clint had many secrets that needed to be guarded very well, other wise he would be out of business for various heinous reasons. Martin was mumbling crudely to himself, clearly annoyed with Clint and his little ''experiments''. Upon reaching the bottom floor of the massive building, an odd voice that sounded oddly like many other voices overlaping, spoke through a small speaker right above the elevator door. "Please state the reason for being here" the voice said in a monotonous tone. "Clint asked me to put the cripple in a fucking pod, didn''t he tell you I was coming?" His already annoyed expression got even more hideous and was now filled with ridicule. "The master is very busy with his work" the voice replied with a matter of fact tone. ''If only'', Martin thought while rolling his eyes. The reinforced elevator doors opened with a strange hissing noise revealing a big air tight room. Scientist''s and a couple of other oddly dressed people were either working on machinery or mixing dangerous looking chemicals. In the farthest corner of the room a small capsule was pre-opened and ready to be used. The small kid that Martin was sent here to deal with, was lying on a table to the right of the pod, seemingly dead and unmoving. Scars, stitches, and many other incisions lined the boys center body and back. This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work. The scientist in charge of repairing the kid''s body approached Martin with a very worried look on his face. Martin could tell that there was definetely gonna be some bad news. "Ah um.. well, we tried to fix the paralysis caused by one of the bullets being lodged into the central part of the boys spine, but we only seemed to make it worse. Martins facial expression looked like it could kill a man, and everyone who saw the look on his face knew that Martin was in a very foul mood. "Clint will not be happy with this... and so won''t your wife." Martin said as he slowly reached his hand inside of his gray suit, and pulled out a gun that closely resembled a .308 revolver with a shortened barrel. Before the scientist could cry out for help, he was shot twice in the chest and than one last time in the forehead. Martin put the gun away and then spit on the face of the dead scientist, clearly not in the mood for bullshit. Brain matter littered the floor, and some of it found its way into the VR pod, however Martin didn''t notice. The only thing martin had to do now was put the kid into the VR pod, and fill it with a small vat of DNA scanning Liquid. Martin took some DNA liquid off a nearby shelf, and then dumped it into the pod. He half heartedly picked up the kid and tossed him in, not careing if the boy''s body suffered from anymore damage. ''As soon as the little shit is done being body scanned, I can leave this sorry excuse for a lab, and hopefully Clint won''t get too pissed off about his little toy being perminately perylized.'' Martin thought as he turned away from the boys half submerged body. Martin started to walk away, clearly distracted by a his thoughts and the start of another major headache. Unfortunately he did not notice the kids leg hit a small container labeled hydrochloric acid, or all of its contents spilling out, and landing on top of the other dangerously labeled containers. The end, and a new begining Urrrik! Urrrik! "Warning, scan subject showing signs of severe stress." A systematic alert was broadcasted throughout the lab, fallowed by the muffled sound of someone screaming. Soon after, a scientist was sent to notify Martin, who was still waiting for the elevator to arrive rather impatiently. Martin turned around and glared menacingly at the approaching scientist. "Make it snappy or I''ll break your neck." Martin said. Clearly mad enough to do it. Seeing the look Martin gave him, the scientist froze in place, piss trickling down his thigh. "Out with it!" Martin yelled. Trying very hard to control his anger. "Ma- ma- Martin, there is a slight problem with the scan subject." Afraid of Martin, and what he might do to him, the scientist took a single step backward. Martin stood still for a few seconds stareing at the scientists face, and then took a very a deep breath. The scientist was surprised to see that Martin was able to control his breathing, and was slightly confused about the sudden change of temper. "How bad is the situation?" Martin said very calm and quietly. The scientist had to strain his hearing in order to figure out what Martin was saying. "Oh, well it is very bad sir. We are having trouble clearing chemicals off of the VR pod, and fear that some of the hazordous chemicals might have made their way into the machine." Martin quickly approached the scientist, and wrapped his hand around his neck, his calm expression now nowhere to be seen. Martin slammed the mans head into an intercom that was built inside the elevator door pannel. After confirming that the scientist was unconious Martin yelled into the intercom."I need some men with hasmat suits ready to assist me with the VR pod!"Reading on Amazon or a pirate site? Moments later a small team of men dressed in hasmat suits surrounded the half melted VR pod, they each had hoses that spewed out strange blue liquid. After a few minuets of hosing it down, Martin could finally look into the machine. Upon seeing the sorry state that the boy was in, Martin thought it would be cruel if he didn''t put the kid out of his mysery. The still concious kid watched as Martin pulled out his six shooter, ready to end it all here. A look of determination showed on his face, makeing Martin feel oddly intimidated.''To think a kid like this could make me feal intimidated, looks like im getting soft.''Martin thought as he steadied his aim on the kids forhead. The kid raised his head, and puffed out what remained of his chest. "I refuse to die here!" he yelled. He looked like he wouldn''t yield to anything, not even death. "To bad kid, your no good to us now." Martin replied. An evil grin spread itself across Martins face. Time felt like it slowed down as Martin pulled the trigger. The kid could clearly see a bullet slowly making its way towards his face. Right before the bullet entered his skull, he started to feel a horribly painful feeling deep within his head. It was as if his brain was being sucked out through a straw. Right when he thought the pain would never end, everything went black leaving him in complete darkness. Moments later a strange monotonous voice sounded out in the darkness. "Scan complete, welcome -Unkown- to Cataclysm Online."
