An excited 19 years old Satoushi Haruya quickly paced away from the area and speed walked to his own home. He couldn¡¯t wait to start his already packed schedule for summer. Correcting his white collar green stripe t-shirt with the motives of the world¡¯s trees he counted his plans in his head. Hiking, swimming and a plethora of other activities that he had planned for the summer sprang up and he gave a small excited giggle. ¡°I am ready to take summer with tons of fun!¡± he screamed to the world. He then composed himself and steadied his movements. ¡°But first, home!¡± Halfway through the long walk home was interrupted however as a truck had zoomed past Haruya slightly grazing his arms and causing it to burn with pain. Surprised, he gave a small hiss of pain. Cupping his scratched arm he cursed. ¡°Ouch, watch where you are going!¡± he screamed at the truck driver angrily. ¡°He shouldn¡¯t drive while under influence.¡± Haruya told himself. He placed the event in the back of his mind and grabbed his sleeves and ripped a small ribbon free. ¡°Should give this a patch first.¡± Haruya¡¯s decently muscular arms swiftly wrapped the small makeshift bandage around the wound and wrapped it up. ¡°There, no more risk of infection. Now I need to continue home.¡± He set his current goal. But it was cut short as a heavy sound of metal crashing was heard. It was close and Haruya was filled with dread. ¡°No way..¡± He said to himself. ¡°By what chance did that truck crash?¡± And he broke into a run. It is to be told that Haruya is a special kind of man. He is a balanced fusion of an athlete and a pro gamer. Therefore he is not to be taken lightly. Upon reaching the location however filled him with shock. The truck that had grazed him had crashed into a tree and it had crumpled. Is it weird that no one had come out yet? Ignoring that Haruya sprinted forwards and immediately latched to the driver¡¯s side of the truck door and pulled. God dammit!¡± he cursed his luck. Looking around he saw a convenient wedge rock just nearby. And by how he could smell the gasoline and hear the sound of sparks he cursed inwardly. Not good. Taking the sharp rock and positioning it he immediately started whacking the sharp bits of glass off the vehicle window. ¡°Wake up! I need your help here!¡± Haruya screamed at the unconscious man.¡°Is he dead?!¡±he freaked. The window now free of glass he took the man by his shirt and tugged. And of course he forgot the seat belt. Seriously?! He inwardly screamed as he bent down and took a broken piece of glass off the ground and started to cut the belt. Small gashes appeared in his palm as he panicked. Adrenaline coursing through his form as he finally cut the belt away. Clutching the man he hoisted him out of the truck and turned. And he saw a lot of people had already came out of their homes. He knew they were asleep as it was night but did they not hear the crash? ¡°Help me here!¡± he shouted to them. Some men from the closest homes came running and started to lift the unconscious man. ¡°We need to get out of here, I smelled gas and I heard some sparks there and its going to blow!¡± They hurried their pace as much as they can and Haruya ran along with them. The unconscious guy dragged away from the truck in a painstakingly slow manner. Apparently the guy weighs more than he had seemed. That was when Haruya heard snapping of wood. The tree had given up its last shreds of wood and fell over the truck and the mangled metal crumpled inwards. Seconds later the truck exploded. Haruya felt the heat sear his back. That was when an unimaginable amount of pain bloomed on his chest. Several screams of women was heard. Falling to his knees and looking down to his chest gave him a surprise. A large sharp bloodied branch jutting out of his heart. ¡°W..what?¡± Sounds started to fade and everything seemed blurry. The men that had carried the guys were sprawled on the tarmac roused from their position. They had fallen when the deadweight pulled them down together. It can¡¯t be¡­ He thought. A wince of pain and a lone tear fell to the ground. I have so much to live for. Sounds became distant blurs and his vision followed soon after. Everything was moving in slow motion and his brain was slowed. As his vision faded he heard one last thing. ¡°Haruya!¡±a voice screamed out. He knew that voice. It was familiar. ¡°Haruya! Don¡¯t leave!¡±he recognized it now. The voice belonged to his sister and she had come here by how close the house was now. Despite the fact that his heart had been impaled Haruya smiled a good heartwarming smile. His mouth moved and he whispered one last sentence. ¡°Goodbye Shino¡­¡± The darkness held at bay in his vision immediately consumed everything as his body gave out, crumpling into the tarmac below as his lifeblood poured out. God Tree Chapter 1 - Discovery
Haruya awoke with a gasp as he breathed erratically. The phantom pain lingering in his form as he shivered. Wait¡­ Aren¡¯t I dead? Then how did I wake up? Haruya thought to himself as he looked around the place he had woken into. The area was very simple in form and crude in design. It was dark and very dark and if he stared too far he would see nothing. The only reprieve was that he was standing on something solid yet invisible. He could feel the smooth texture of the floor and it was cold. Freezing cold. I wonder how I didn¡¯t get any frostbite laying there. But this is alarming if this is a dream I have to get out of here. His thoughts were interrupted as a sudden flash occurred near him, and a single rectangular plate of light appeared. It shone bright enough to light up the floor, which now glowed white instead. A moment was all it took as Haruya leapt upright before cautiously walking to the screen. He had qualms about these odd phenomena. And if that light was any clue he could tell he was dead. It was when the piece of light was within arm¡¯s reach that he saw what it was. Its light faded into the more relaxing and lighter blue light and it looked like a glowing rectangular pane of blue glass instead. Haruya came forward and took the glass pane. If it was anything this ¡®screen¡¯ is his by default. What coincidence is it when a screen appeared when you woke up? Okay don¡¯t kill me please. Inwardly cringing at the odd thought Haruya took a closer look, inspecting the screen. A glowing circle appeared on the screen and the word [Press Me] faded into being in the centre. Giving the benefit of the doubt Haruya hesitantly pressed it. The circle spun wider and left the entire screen entirely as it was now no longer within the screen, instead it was now hovering around him like a hoop. What the hell?! Haruya clearly panicked. He didn¡¯t expect this. He frantically backed away from the screen yet the circle remains around him. Haruya calm down¡­ This can¡¯t hurt me. I just have to get through this and see the end. Just go through this odd ordeal and get it over with. After mentally preparing himself Haruya took the floating screen again. It looked like a clear hologram. Instead of a circle words now appeared. It filled out as a form that began to fill in with his personal information. He let go, and the text stopped filling in. Okay¡­ Personal information huh. Let¡¯s get this over with. Taking the screen as it filled up with more information he looked at it. Taking hold of the screen again another button appeared under all the game statuses that had appeared. He took a glance and was disheartened. Randomize Start? That doesn¡¯t sound good. I hope I don¡¯t turn into a rock¡­ Bracing himself with all the courage he had, Haruya took a moment to take in what had happened in the last 20 minutes or so and adopted a brave stature. There is no telling what he would get. There is always a chance to screw up and there is always bad luck. As he placed his finger above the button shy a few centimeters from pressing it Haruya hesitated. What if I ended up a demon and serve a demon king¡­ Or a random mob monster¡­ Please don¡¯t¡­ Steeling himself, he shouted to the world to hear him. ¡°I don¡¯t care if it¡¯s random creature as long as its god-like I am in it!¡± And pressed the button. However he didn¡¯t expect the screen to explode into a supernova and began filling up with more information. Random words appeared over each stat and filled up with more and more information. Haruya¡¯s hands were stuck and he couldn¡¯t remove it, even when his hands transformed into light. His hands now a construct of light refused to budge either. The light spread from his hands to his lower arms as if it was a virus.In tandem is the information appearing on screen. His body shown to the world as a naked fairly decent toned body made of bright white light. All features were gone and all that was left is a silhouette of a male made of light and even the manly part was gone. The screen promptly dove into the construct¡¯s chest and integrated itself deep within his core. When he was done converting he screamed in pure joy as a rush of power entered his being and in a second a huge displacement of air occurred creating a powerful sound.
Over a big hill plains that was clear of any trees a powerful light appeared. From within that light a man made of light appeared. ¡°Haah¡­ That was intense!¡± Checking his lower body he gave a sigh. ¡°That¡¯s lost now I guess.¡± A god tree? That is disappointing. Even though it¡¯s god like and has a lot of abilities it still is disappointing. Even a tree killed me back there. But where is my body anyway? Unbidden, rumbles was heard from his chest. Haruya looked down and was shocked to see wood with silver accents grow from his chest right where his heart was. Panicking a bit he tried to scrape it off. It didn¡¯t work. Of course that doesn¡¯t work¡­ Let¡¯s get this over with then. The wood continued to spread all over his body claiming it and cocooning him inside. The now oval shaped seed plummeted into the ground at break neck speeds and dug itself a cozy dwelling. The world waited with bated breath as the seed implanted itself deep within the earth of Esevia. The next moment shook the ground as a large tree sprung forth from the ground. It took form into a single trunk that reached meters above ground as its branches spread out. The roots below dug deeper in search. Leaves began to spring forth from the branches creating a bushy canopy that was thick enough to blot out the sunlight from passing through. But they were not normal. The leaves shone in the sun¡¯s light as they formed into shining crystal leaves. They grew and solidified into emeralds. The bark grew small weaving barks that also had silver accents to it. The strength of the bark now rivaling a solid block of iron. The roots flowed down into the earth veined with gold. They shone with ethereal light as if there was a sun within the root itself. They dug deeper in its search. Within the tree¡¯s own bark a beating sound was heard. Within, a coagulation of golden essence formed into a single block of Amber that had a misshapen form. It beat once, twice and then began beating a rhythm. From the rhythm a pulse of energy began dancing out of the heart and into the surroundings. Life began to fruitfully bloom and flourish. After the growth had subsided Haruya gasped out in shock. His construct form appearing below the amber core. He was debilitated as he grew from a seed into a tree in mere seconds. Curious, he flew out of the tree and marveled its form. This is beautiful¡­ Haruya thought with awe. The tree had grown and shone with light. Everything of it looked divine and heavenly. GOD TREE NAME : ? ¡°What is this?¡± Haruya asked himself. He pondered it for a second before a name sprung forth with a click. Eyes widening with the sheer awesomeness of the name he touched the screen and announced. ¡°I wish to name myself.¡± The screen shimmered in readiness. GOD TREE NAME : _ ¡°Yggdrasil¡± he said. He inwardly cringed at the corny but awesome name. It had been known to him as the Tree of Life. GOD TREE NAME : [YGGDRASIL] Haruya was suddenly hit with a dangerous thought. What do I do now? Now what do my abilities do exactly? Haruya opened his Status Screen showing all the abilities and skills he had acquired being reincarnated here. Now then, If I am correct the process of photosynthesis is the usage of water and carbon dioxide along with the help of sunlight on chlorophyll to create oxygen. If I apply that to this world¡¯s trees therefore I need Essence that is Water and get it to my leaves and with the help of sunlight to transform the Essence to Mana. His thoughts were interrupted as a ding sound was heard. [ADVANCED MANA SYNTHESIS PROCESS DISCOVERED] Seriously?! That is Advanced already?! Quickly ignoring the sudden notification Haruya asked Raphael for the current problem. ¡°Raphael, how do I get to the Essence?¡± Awaiting his companion¡¯s answer Haruya opened rechecked his Status Screen for the answer and landed on Root Control. It would be the obvious answer but he does not know how to use it. [PSEUDOPODIA USAGE REQUIRES CONCENTRATION. FOCUS ON THE ROOTS OF YOUR FORM AND COMMAND THEM AS YOU COMMAND YOURSELF] Taking the advice seriously Haruya focused on all 25 of his massive already underground roots. He strained his mind to feel and focus on all his existing roots and gave a single echoing command as he would to his sleep paralyzed arms. MOVE! And move they did. Like perverse tentacles the roots wiggled deeper into the earth. From his vision he could see that the roots were heading in random directions. It would probably be better since he couldn¡¯t see through the earth. Even when he used his roots to see all he could see is dirt. But he could feel. The roots moving through dirt and stone was like burying his legs in sand and pushing it deeper. The feeling sent shivers up his body causing the entire tree to shiver as well, rustling the leaves above into a shaking frenzy. A sudden feeling of coldness touched one of his roots. Quickly switching his vision to that root he saw it. Its beautiful¡­ The current that he could see right now was moving like water through pipes. The pinkish purple magic essence flowed through the pipes as if strong pressure urged it forwards. His roots deep in the current started to greedily suck it out. [LEY-LINE VEIN DISCOVERED] The notification that had popped up surprised him but even more notifications popped up around him signifying that more ley-lines had been discovered. ¡°Awesome! I can¡¯t believe this is what this feels like!¡± Haruya shouted in excitement as the Essence rode up his roots to his trunk. The essence converged at the base of his trunk before beginning to rise up to his top. The essence danced around his heart, the Amber Heart Core and rose up and away to his leaves. The Essence however stopped just shy before touching a leaf. [YOU ARE REQUIRED TO GUIDE THE ESSENCE] Nodding, Haruya felt for the Essence. It complied immediately and Haruya took it by its proverbial hands and pulled it gently to his leaves. It sat obediently on his emerald leaves and shifted in hue. It turned light blue before evaporating into the air. For Haruya it was the most beautiful sight as his entire canopy glowed a luminescent blue as Mana rose into the air as sparkling blue stars.
¡°Done! My first 10 saplings planted around me!¡± Haruya shouted as he gave took some air even though he didn¡¯t need it. All around him small copies of himself was planted in a small circle but far enough to have their own space. My babies. Chuckling at the thought Haruya sighed. He had to sacrifice 10 of his currently working roots to create the saplings he has now. The plains that expanded far enough to give him space was adequate. He could see some tall mountains far east and a small but noticeable forest far west. He was pretty sure there was a sea behind him to the south. But the most ominous was the north. Dark clouds hung by the north side as if death hangs by the sky itself. Haruya knows that he isn¡¯t the center of the universe so he had just made the directions up. Front, back, left and right. By how the sun moved he could tell that his left is generally west and by default east on his right. However he doesn¡¯t know which is north and south. Not the stars would help him since he is in another world. But back to the topic Haruya looked at his saplings. ¡°I want to know their status.¡± Haruya said to Raphael. He thought it would do him best. A few seconds later of appraising with focusing on the sapling the status of the Sapling was shown to him. Should have been obvious. From what he could surmise is that the saplings generate 2 Mana per second and gives him back 0.5 mana per second. That 1 Mana it keeps has it halved as 0.5 Mana it keeps for its growth and another 0.5 sent to the atmosphere. So that means when it reaches 2000 Maximum Mana Store in about 70 minutes and it grows a small amount and has to do so 1000 times to reach Tree stage. By calculations it would need 50 more or less days to reach Tree stage. ¡°Huh, that is shorter than Earth time¡­¡± Thinking for a minute he opted for Raphael instead, ¡°Raphael is this normal because if it is then wouldn¡¯t the world be covered in trees right now?¡± [THIS IS THE RESULT OF YOUR ABILITY ¡®SAPLING¡¯. Pressing it the screen vanished and another replaced it. It seemed to load and fill with information as Haruya jumped in his form excitedly. Raphael how do I use these three abilities of mine?¡± Haruya asked his companion, ¡°Because I have no idea how to ¡®manipulate¡¯ mana.¡± A moment later a voice he knows spoke. Grasping and flailing inside himself Haruya finally grasped something. Something cold and free. MANA! And he called it forward into his cupped palms. There, a single blue blob of blue flowing liquid mana rested. Eyes and grin widening Haruya shouted in joy, ¡°YES! We did it!¡± Quickly standing up again Haruya thrusted the blob towards the air. ¡°Raphael thank you so much!¡± Haruya was sure he heard a grateful mutter. Looking to the blob again Haruya concentrated. If the concept to Mana Manipulation can apply to Matter Materialization and Manipulation as well it is worth learning it. Imagining and feeling the mana in his hands and noting their feel Haruya delved into the feeling and changed it. From free to sturdy. From cold to slightly warmer. From soft to rough. And when he looked at it again it has lost its shimmer and there instead is a lump of iron. ¡°Iron at its purest form created!¡± Haruya took the iron and felt for its form again. This time he would mold the iron to its final form. Feeling for its shape instead Haruya imagined it in his mind¡¯s eye. He shaped it and molded it to a picture. He wanted this to happen. He wanted this as a memory. The emotional turmoil that he had hidden within himself to stay strong shaped the lump of iron. Giving life to it with various colors and complicated shapes. A single tear dropped as Haruya imagined his family. His mother¡­ Father¡­ And his beloved little sister¡­ A sob escaped his mouth as he imagined it clearly as he could. And when he opened his eyes a single metal picture frame rested in his hands. The complete picture of his family all around him on his last birthday. Kaa-san¡­ Tou-san¡­ Imouto¡­ I¡¯m sorry¡­ A single tear of made entirely of light fell onto the frame as his emotional dam broke. He couldn¡¯t believe that his life is over among them. ¡°I hope you mourn for me and move on¡­¡± Another sob escaped as Haruya broke down crying, clutching the picture close to his heart.
After an entire half an hour crying and moping Haruya finally steeled himself. A new world a new life. The past is the past now and I can¡¯t change it. I will instead remember it for as long as I live instead. Taking a deep breath and focusing at the matter at hand Haruya called forth another blob of Mana. This time he is going to make something sharp. Lets do this. Kitchen knife it is. Getting a feel for the Mana he turned it into metal. Ferum Carbon alloy to be exact. Basically he had just made steel. Feeling for its shape as well Haruya pictured it in his mind. A simple kitchen blade. Moving his hands and caressing the blob Haruya guided it to form his thoughts. The blob began to elongate into a cylinder before flattening. A part of it took form into a flat blade before everything took form into a normal kitchen knife. ¡°This, is worse than I thought.¡± Haruya commented as he took a curious look at the blade. Seeing the odd form Haruya sighed, ¡°Its dull and a part of it is bloated¡­ Maybe I have to imagine in in 3-D instead?¡± Deciding its time to consult Raphael Haruya asked. ¡°Do I have to form it with all details perfected?¡± Calculating its answer Raphael replied. [TRUE, ALL DETAILS MUST BE PERFECT] Sighing at the expected answer Haruya looked at the blade again. This time he tried again.
¡°Yes! It worked!¡± Haruya shouted in joy as a sharp kitchen knife rests in his hands. ¡°It took me 10 tries but it finally paid off.¡± Playing with it a bit Haruya was hit with a thought. Asking Raphael again that Haruya winced. ¡°Raphael how do I use this knife in the world?¡± He had been overly dependent on Raphael. Later he would try to discipline himself and be independent. He would try to not bother Raphael way too many times. [THE WALL OF THIS PLACE IS THE MATERIALIZATION POINT. ALL CREATED OBJECTS WILL BE MADE REAL WHEN PASSING THROUGH THE WALL] Looking at the see through wall to his side Haruya was confused. How does someone make an object pass through a wall? Deciding to do so anyway Haruya stabbed the knife through the see-through wall. The knife swiftly left his hands as if there was nothing there and fell straight to the ground and bounced off before stopping. Eyes widening in surprise at the unexpected pull Haruya then quickly made another blob. This time he made a simple paper airplane and threw it within himself. This time he made a boomerang. Simple in shape but agile and easy. Taking the wooden boomerang and aiming Haruya threw it with considerable force. It flew out of his trunk and reached its peak before flying back down. Haruya expectantly held out his hands to catch it. It unfortunately banged against the bark creating ripples in the see-through wall. Frowning Haruya put down his hands. ¡°Thought so¡­¡± I can¡¯t pull back whatever I had pushed out¡­ Then I can¡¯t push this picture frame away from me then. Taking the picture of his family with a sigh Haruya floated upwards to his Amber Heart Core and placed it on the heart. Sighing in contentment Haruya floated back down. His body is tall enough to even rival a mountain therefore it took some time.
Remembering about the knife that he had made he sent a free root to it and took it. Willing the root nearer with the knife Haruya floated to the wall and phased through. Haruya had tried to get himself materialized by walking through the wall earlier. It failed and Haruya then found out that he couldn¡¯t interact with anything physical. Haruya took a critical look at the knife and called for its description. A window opened up and Haruya took a look at it. A sudden feeling of warmth concentrated on his hands appeared and Haruya took a look at the kitchen knife. What he saw amazed him. ¡°Woah¡­ It worked¡­ But that fire that left my hands¡­¡± Taking aim, Haruya felt for fire again. From the palms of his hands the feeling of warmth surged forth and out came a single torrent of fire that immediately died out. Surprised, Haruya looked at his hands. I can shoot elemental magic without incantations, sugoi! The blade that had been infused with fire mana glowed red. Haruya took another look at its description. The moment the plank got out of the trunk it materialized causing it to slip from his grasp and fall to the ground. Sighing Haruya guided his root there instead. Calling up another 2 roots Haruya took the plank and positioned it between the 2 roots. The root holding the blade took aim and Haruya sent it down. The knife cut through the plank with no resistance. ¡°I expected resistance as it is a kitchen knife but seriously?!?¡± Marveling at the Fire Kitchen Knife Haruya decided to keep it somewhere safe. Making a single wooden box laced with stone inside Haruya stored the knife within and dug a hole and promptly buried it. Better safe than sorry¡­
Haruya had experimented with an astounding amount of materials. He know now that certain materials had to be imagined perfectly with all the details otherwise the material made is just a replica. He tried to make Uranium. What came out was a glowing green ore that just glowed. It¡¯s description even called it the ¡°Glowing Green Ore¡±. But Haruya now had an idea. His enchantment experiment had worked and his gamer mindset urged Haruya to create something. Something really overpowered. ¡°Let¡¯s make a sword!¡± Haruya declared. Deciding to simply use Steel since it is easier Haruya began to create. Calling forth a bigger blob of mana, Haruya started to mold it into a sword of his own design. He started with the blade first. The blade edge was kept steel but its core was replaced with lead-iron alloy instead. It made an interesting combination. The blade curved inward at the middle thinning the blade and making it a bit fat at the end. Deciding to create the handle next Haruya made it as simple and comfortable as he could. The core of the handle was filled with the same lead-iron alloy fusion and its grip was dry leather. A two-pointed fork sat at the base of the handle. Fusing both parts together got him a single sword. ¡°Hmm. This looks odd¡­¡± Haruya contemplated his next move. The sword looked odd and incomplete. He took another glance and then remembered. ¡°The guard! Of course!¡± Taking the sword and calling forth mana Haruya laughed to himself. ¡°Silly me.¡± He made a guard that looked like two wolf fangs and flattened it. Installing it on the sword made it perfect. As aesthetics he added a four-pointed star at the intersection of the sword as a binder and some fake runes along its blade core. As he looked at it Haruya felt proud. His gamer sense satisfied by the powerful look. ¡°But this is just a normal sword without enchantments, so I will enchant it to the max!¡± Deciding to create a magic sword instead Haruya then remembered. He doesn¡¯t know the entire elements of Esevia. Haruya opened his status screen and looked at his affinities. Tapping on it and calling its description it came as another window screen. [ALL KNOWN ELEMENTS OF ESEVIA] THE ELEMENTS: FIRE / WATER / EARTH / AIR / LIGHT / DARK / SPIRIT / NATURE / LIFE / DEATH ¡°Alright! Time to enchant all of this into one sword.¡± Haruya called more elemental mana and was ready to infuse until he was interrupted by a screen from Raphael. [WARNING: ELEMENTAL ELEMENTS OF FIRE WATER EARTH AIR LIFE AND DEATH MAY NOT BE PAIRED WITH LIGHT AND DARK. DOING SO IS CATASTROPHIC] Looking at the screen instantly dropped his excitement. ¡°Oh¡­ Okay, thanks for warning me Raphael.¡± He chuckled a bit. ¡°Wouldn¡¯t know what would have happened without you.¡± Deciding to drop the elements except Light and Dark Haruya made his choice. A blessed and cursed blade. From what he could tell is that Life is Healing Magic and Death is, well death. Light and Dark are probably Holy and Unholy magics. A holy and unholy sword¡­haha! Doubling both Light and Dark mana held within both his hands Haruya pressed it into the sword. At first they resisted with explosive power before they finally relented to Haruya¡¯s will. Both mana types obediently fusing itself to the sword. The lead core suddenly became pitch black and its fake runes gaining light. It was as if there was glowing blood running within the blade core itself. The sword glowed with holy light as well, gaining a aura that wrapped around the sword. The four-pointed star gaining a stronger shine signifying the place where the mana most resided. From the tips of the star two strands of pure magic leaked as thin glowing ribbons of darkness and light that swirled around the sword before merging back to the tip of the sword. ¡°Finally! It¡¯s complete!¡± Haruya declared to the world as he hoisted the blade upwards. ¡°The blade that is both balanced in build, and in nature is complete!¡± Taking a look to its description Haruya gasped. [BLESSED CURSED SWORD] DAMAGE: 1150 DURABILITY: ¨C GRADE: s+ RANK: MASTER REQUIREMENTS: 100 STR 50 VIT 30 INT 30 WIS 100 STA ENCHANTMENTS: SMITING LIGHT / EBON CORE / RETURN Interested in the enchantments Haruya tapped on it. [HOLY SMITE] DEALS 150% DAMAGE AGAINST UNHOLY CREATURES [EBON BLADE] CURSES ANY WHO IS STRUCK FOR 10 SECONDS DEALING 1% OF THEIR MAXIMUM HEALTH EACH SECOND AND IS DOUBLED AGAINST HOLY AND NEUTRAL CREATURES [RETURN] ALLOWS THE SWORD ITSELF TO WARP TO A PREVIOUS LOCATION ¡°Woah! Haha! Sugoi, I made a cool sword!¡± Haruya laughed as he held the sword. It was light. Probably because it is not materialized yet. Excitedly pushing the blade nearer to the wall Haruya giggled. ¡°This is better than what I expected! Raphael what do you think of this sword?¡± Haruya asked his companion¡¯s opinion. ¡°Isn¡¯t it great?¡± [I AM UNABLE TO ANSWER THAT. BUT THE STATS IT HAS IS ENTIRELY PREFERABLE] Nodding in understanding Haruya pressed the blade out. Not once did he think that the blade would have interesting effects to the world. That was what happened as the blade suddenly fell faster than his root could follow, stabbing the ground to the middle of the blade. What follows was more surprising. An earthquake pulse traveled from the point of impact and had rattled his roots within. Haruya also heard a sound. From what he could identify was the sound of a roaring demon, and the hymn of an angel. ¡°What was that?!¡± Haruya exclaimed, surprised. He had not expected that. The city of Aratheia was in chaos. An earthquake so strong and both sounds had stirred the populace into chaos. Only the children was mesmerized by the hymn. The king had immediately addressed the civilians. ¡°Citizens! Do not worry! We will investigate the source and vanquish it!¡± ¡°We¡¯re doomed!¡± ¡°Ahh!¡± ¡°CITIZENS! I promise you to vanquish the demon that had did this! Do not worry!¡±
¡°My lord, there seems to be a disturbance to the north.¡± A woman with horns and a tail had announced. From what could be seen is a succubus. A big hulking being on a throne of dark stone and skulls straightened. ¡°Yes Veeris, I had noticed. I believe something big is happening. Send some demons to scout it out at once.¡± The being said with authority. The succubus visibly shuddered. ¡°Acknowledged, Maou-sama¡± The succubus hurriedly scampered out of the throne room. Alone in the throne room the Demon King smiled. ¡°I will acquire that power for myself, whoever had donesuch wondrous show of power¡­¡±
¡°Achoo!¡± Haruya sneezed. Is it possible I can get a cold?.. Contemplating the odd thought Haruya dismissed it. Nah¡­ Dissmissing it Haruya looked at the sword. A root grasped at it and Haruya shuddered. Suddenly a voice emanated from the sword. ¡°Otou-san!¡± Almost dropping the sword at the recognizably rough demonic yet childlike voice Haruya looked at it critically. ¡°Otou-san!¡± Eyes widening, Haruya brought it closer to himself. *DING* [SENTIENT SWORDCRAFT DISCOVERED] Sentient Swordcraft?! This sword is alive?! Slightly panicking Haruya placed the sword back into the ground. That was when things go horribly wrong. ¡°Otou-san! Otou-san!!¡± The demonic childlike voice cried out in sadness. Despite his panic Haruya reluctantly picked it back up. Its voice returned to cheery back again. Cheers of happiness was heard as Haruya suddenly felt at ease again. ¡°Why do you call me Otou-san?¡± Haruya asked it. The sword¡¯s gender was easy to assume but it shouldn¡¯t be done so. The sword replied, ¡°Because you created me, Otou-san¡± ¡°Then are you a boy or a girl?¡± He asked. It was a stupid question but he must find out. What came out embarrassed him. ¡°Whats that?¡± Facepalming, then deciding to ignore that fact instead Haruya looked at the sword. ¡°Otou-san, give me name!¡± the sword asked in a cutely horrifying manner. It¡¯s voice decidedly demonic in nature. Confused by the request Haruya asked it. ¡°Name? Why do you need one?¡± And immediately it answered. ¡°Because Otou-san created me?¡± Deciding to just go along with it Haruya gave it a name thought suitable. A legendary sword in any game that had the tag Fantasy. ¡°Fine then, how do you like Excalibur?¡± He suggested. It was a male sword name but it depends on this ¡®child¡¯ of his. A happy voice replied with fervor. ¡°I like it Otou-san! Thank you!¡± Heart warming up, Haruya decided that he didn¡¯t want anyone to steal Excalibur. Therefore he decided to create a grove just for it. Using his Growth Control he forcibly expended the last of his mana for the time growing more roots that created a dome over Excalibur¡¯s resting place. Creating a stone plate with a single sword slit in the middle Haruya placed it in the dome¡¯s centre. The dome itself had a hole over the dome shining light in a pillar over the stone. ¡°This is your new home, you will be protected by me forever Excalibur¡­¡± Haruya said before he gently stabbed Excalibur into the slit, and it locked into place. Excalibur happily vibrating in joy at the new home. It was reminiscent of the Arthur and the Excalibur sword story that he had read before. I know that this is really weird that a sword became sentient and is calling me its father.Haruya took a look at the sword that was happily vibrating in its new home.But just because of my human life had no such thing and only in games and anime, I should''nt go and just snuff this one out... "Excalibur, tell me if you find a wielder you like alright?" Haruya told Excalibur. Even though the sword is young and new to the world Haruya believes it is better for someone worthy to hold him. "Yes Otou-san!" Chuckling a bit Haruya gave a warm smile. Ahh¡­ What a wonderful day.
