 Prologue

    In a mountain range in the Region of Cebu. The once greatest Clan still exists. They who in the past were the leaders of Cebu, became the lowest amongst the Clans.


    Being reduced to such a state, made it hard for the Clan to maintain all of their lands. With no choice, they sold some of their once glorious lands to others to support the whole Clan. Now they only have a small piece of land with bad vegetation. All members of the Clan were composed mostly of warriors.


    In the past they could produce those Legendary Demon Spiritists. Now, they couldn''t even produce Silver ranked Demon Spiritists.


    Cultivation realms are divided in five realms in Cebu. The first and lowest rank is the Bronze Demon Spiritists. Then comes Silver, Gold, Black Gold and lastly, the strongest, the Legend ranked Demon Spiritists. Each realm is split in 9 levels. Before one could advance from a realm to another realm, he has to be a level 9 Warrior or Demon Spiritist.


    Being a Demon Spiritists and being a Warrior are completely different from each other. For example a Bronze Demon Spiritists has the body strength of a Bronze Warrior, except for the fact that d


    Demon Spiritist could absorb other beings soul and use its abilities to enhance their strength. for example, gaining a demon eagle''s soul would give Demon Spiritists a chance to turn their hands to claws and grow wings On their back. It only depends on how much the Demon Spiritists could comprehend the ability.


    So, if a Warrior and a Demon Spiritists of the same rank fights, it would naturally be the loss of the Earrior.


    The strongest Demon Spritists the Clan is only a Bronze rank level 8 DemonSpiritists. He is the Patriarch of the Clan.


    The Patriarch had a hard time dealing about the clan''s situation for a long time now. As it was already this way when the position was given to him.


    Every often he would lecture all the clansmen, especially the children about their pasts glory, encouraging everyone to do their best. He would narrate that when the Clan was at their peak, everyone would bow down to them, throwing themselves to their feets. But one day, when a demon horde attacked Cebu, the Clan was betrayed by every single Clans. They ran away and left Cebu, forcing them to fight the demons alone. Only their Clan was left to defend and protect the people of Cebu. Resulting to them winning the war but by sacrificing the lives of the Legend ranked Demon Spiritists of the Clan down to every capable cultivators of the Clan. Thus, becoming what they are today. Without the guidance of those experts, they had a hard time climbing back to their peak, and eventually it was only getting worst by every generation that came after.


    The Clan lived through by sellingdifferent kinds of herbs. The monetary system is categorized through Copper, Bronze, Silver and Gold. The Equivalent value would be one Bronze coin for a thousand Copper coins and vise versa.


    The Clan would need to spend atleast 1 Silver coin a month to support the whole Clan. that would be equal to a million Copper coins. The herbs would only sell at hundreds to a thousand daily. So, the Clan had no choice but to sell some of the lands to support everyone.


    During this time of the year, the Clan would have to send young cultivators to a Sect to train. If it was in the past, they wouldn''t need to send any cultivators to any Sect as the Clan could directly supervise any young cultivator. But now, they don''t even have any cultvation technique to teach their own clansmen. All the Clan could do was send people to a Sect so they could learn a cultivation technique and start cultivating. Even the cultivation technique of the Patriarch came from a third rate Sect. The Clan could not afford to send any cultivators to first rate Sects as it costed a lot. The Clan can''t even afford the second rate ones. Thus leaving them with no option but the third rate Sects. Third rate Sects are supervised by Silver ranked Demon Spiritists, the second rate ones are handled by Gold ranked, while the first rate Sects are handled by Black Gold rank Demon Spiritists.

    This hall had some ancientness to it. Gold pillars and golden thrones could be seen and the decorations would surely excite anyone who sees it.


    The hall was emitting some airs of supremacy. But sadly the strongest in this hall was only a Bronze ranked Demon Spiritist. He was seating in a wooden throne, looking so righteous. He created his own throne as he doesn''t dare to seat in those golden thrones. This was the Clan Patriarch.


    Currently in front of him was a group of youngsters, they are the ones to be sent to a third rate Sect this time.     "Li Zel, you two came back right on time. Now we could send Li Ma to Adc together with his cousins."

Usually wild boars in this area roam around in groups because of fear of being hunted by tigers. Boars are ferocious animals, they kill by dragging their victim in their hole and stab them with its huge tusks.


    But it was unfortunate for this wild boar, it encountered Li Ma and Li Chan. Li Ma''s bow and arrow is it''s weakness, as it is weak against range attacks. Li Chan''s spear could also be thrown.

    The boar looked at Li Chan and was about to charge when a streak of light went past beside Li Chan''s body and hit the boar just above its eyes. Instantly killing it on the spot.


    That streak of light was an arrow from Li Ma. His marksmanship with the bow could be said near perfect. As he loved hunting wild animals and bring its meat to the clan for a feast.


    Li Chan ran and looked for his spear. While Li Pao crouched down and inspected the boar. This boar looked pretty normal but why the hell was it''s speed so fast.


    Looking carefully, he could not find anything strange.


    Li Ma squatted down and cuts the meat of the boar in proportions. When Li Ma opened the boars head.

    A demon core is helpful to Demon Spiritists, as they could absorb it and help them improve their cultivation level and abilities obtained from a demons soul.


    That meant that they were able to successfully kill a demon beast with their non-warrior body.

 Chapter 2: It is delicious!

    This achievement would not be considered much, but a normal human killing a demon beast would shock anyone. Although it was a feat that was achieved before, it was still rare to see someone could do it. Someone who could do it must be a peeless genius of his generation. Although, even if people learned about this, they would not believe it unless they saw it personally.


    Everyone knows that a demon beast is a wild beast that unlocked its wisdom. They, who were once normal beasts learned to cultivate thus, gaining powers that could kill humans easily.


    All demon beasts had a demon core, but not everyone can absorb them. The cores contained impurities that is harmful to a cultivator. One would need to remove its impurities before they could try to absorb the demons core.


    Demon core and demon soul are different from each other. Absorbing a demon core would give people a boost in their cultivation and the abilities they got from demon souls would be enhanced. While a demon soul contained the demon beast''s innate abilities. Absorbing one would give someone a chance to gain that innate ability.

    Also, the demon beast''s body is always a level higher than that of a human warrior of the same rank. So when a human warrior wants to fight a demon beast equally, he would need to have a body level higher than the demon beast.

    This figure had a fair skin, his hair is black and he was tall and handsome. He looked so fragile that if he faced another black wild boar, he would collapse on the first blow!


    This figure was none other than Li Ma!


    He walked for a while before he arrived again at the place where he killed the black wild boar. He crouched down and inspected the ground for traces of demon beasts.


    The indifferent look in his eyes change a little. He suddenly looked serious.

    Suddenly a deafening roar could be heard again. This time it was so loud, that it was impossible to hear anything. This signified that the source was near him now. Although this roar was so loud, it was not loud enough to be heard by Li Ma''s cousins.


    The tiger''s roar is not like the full-voiced roar of a lion, but more like a sentence of snarly, shouted words, but those who heard it will feel their scalps going numb.

    When the tiger saw Li Ma, it became very angry. A human dared to venture into his territory challenging his authority.
