(DROPPED)》 prologue While going through the alley I always use to go home I saw a huge, fucked up looking double-door at least 4 metres tall and 5 metres broad with stranges engravings and markings, making it look like some high-quality product the nobles used back in the middle ages just standing there, blocking the way. Because mysterious things always somehow attracted me (and believe me, if you suddenly find a door like that in the middle of an alley you walk through everyday, you will find it mysterious) I thought of taking a peek before going back home through another alley or something. As I walked closer I got this growing sense of urgencytogo through that door until I couldn''t hold it in anymore and just started running towards it before bursting through. Inside was a seemingly endless space made entirely out of black, even the light from outside didn''t illuminate anything, as if it got absorbed in its entirety. "guh" Just as I wanted to go back outside the gravity here felt like it had doubled and the door behind me shut close. I kinda freaked out and tried opening the door with all the strength I could muster. I even started hitting it with my arms and legs at some point until I couldn''t feel them anymore. After what felt like hours of panicking I calmed down because of the pain in my arms and legs and decided to look for another exit. Even though the pain was already unbearable the gravity seemed to increase even more the further I went until I started crawling on the floor so I had even a slim chance to get out of this darkness because it was driving me mad by the second. Just as I started giving up hope I saw a small light in the distance and thought *Maybe I''ll get out of this hellhole if I hang on for just a bit longer.* Gathering all the strength I could muster I stood up and started running in the direction of this small sliver of hope. As I got closer to the light I thought the gravity around me could crush mountains but I didn''t slow down because the only thoughts in my head were that I could probably get out of here soon. Report it. Chapter 1 Where am I? I thought to myselfas I looked up to a blue sky while lying on the floor. After getting up and dusting myself off I looked around and noticed I was in a huge crater about 10m deep and 30m in radius. At the edge of the crater were strangely huge trees with leaves as big as humans, branches thicker than cars and trunks as big as a house. After climbing out of the crater I saw that actually all the vegetation here was really strange, like flowers with rainbow colors and pink grass that reached up to ones knees. A perfectly normal magical forest as far as I can tell. There were animals I''ve never seen before too like a huge cow with wings and 3 tails made out of fire fleeing froma bunny twice as tall as the cow with fangs like a saber-tooth and a crazed expression as if it wanted to rip everything in its way to shreds. Hm!? The bunny stopped chasing and they¡®re both looking over here with blank expressions!? That¡®s actually really bad, isn¡®t it!? Oh shit, they¡®re both starting to shiver like crazy! Are they going to attack!? Should I start running!? ...WHAT THE FUCK!? They¡®re running away! I don¡®t even look that scary though! Is something else behind me!? Or maybe above!? No, there¡®s noone else but me here, so did they really run away from me? Ah, screw it. I should concentrate on finding out where I am right now. I don¡®t even know how I got here after all but judging from those ... things that happened just now I either got transported to another world or I¡®m going crazy. I really hope it¡®s not the latter so I¡®ll just go with the usual getting transferred to another world setting. I didn¡®t really have much of an attachment to earth anyway. BUT! Before I check if I really am in another world I should make sure I don¡®t die. I mean, if I encounter one of those bunnies and it doesn¡®t run away I¡®m so totally dead. It¡®s time to test out the stealth abilities I (not really) honed in my previous life!
Well, it¡®s been an hour or so since I tried getting out of this forest now and I haven¡®t seen another one of those monsters or whatever the heck they are. The trees are gradually getting smaller the further I go and the other greenerie is getting more... normal I guess? The flowers don¡®t look like the fart of a unicorn anymore and the grass only goes up to ones ankles. It¡®s still pink though. Anyway, I get the feeling I¡®ll soon be out of this forest and I hope that wherever I go doesn¡®t have any of those ridiculous animals. It would also be nice to find a town or something. I don¡®t want to starve to death after all and I¡®m not going to try eating anything that grows in this forest. After walking for some more minutes I got to the edge of the forest and there laid a barren landscape filled with nothing but dried up light brown earth. Even though this forest I just came out of was filled to the brim with liveliness. Maybe that damned forest sucked out all of the vitality from its surroundings. There¡®s nothing here as far as the eye can see. Oh wait, I can actually see something in the distance, like, really far away. Looks like a town or something like that. I guess that¡®s my next destination because I¡®m totally not going to stay in this forest, no thanks. While walking to the town I noticed that there were actually bushes and some specks of grass all over the place. Or dried up brown ones at least. They blend in perfectly with their surroundings. Anyway, I can properly see the stone walls of that town now and they¡®re huge, at least 20m high. No gates in sight though, guess I¡®ll just circle around for now. It wouldn¡®t be funny if they expect people to fly over the walls with magic or something. After searching for a couple of minutes I finally found some guards stationed before a huge gate, checking the line of people who want inside. One of them is checking someone¡®s cart and the other two are watching the gate so that no one passes without being checked. They¡®re wearing full body metal armors without a helmet and all of them have a halberd in one hand. Walking closer I could see that the guards were actually demons! They¡®re not wearing helmets so I can see that one of them has two horns, one on each side of his head, and the other two only one on their foreheads. After lining up I could see that all the people here are non-humans. Some of them even had animal ears and tails! After waiting for half an hour it was finally my turn. ?Halt!¡° (Demon #1) Demon #1, who is one of the demons with 1 horn by the way, said. Now that I can get a closer look, he doesn¡®t look that much different from a human. He¡®s huge and is about three feet taller than me and has a horn and vertically slit eyes. Whatever, I do as I was told and stop in front of the demon. ?State your reason for coming to this town!¡° (Demon #1) ?I¡®m just visiting an old acquaintance.¡° (Me) I lied straight through my teeth and now the guard is staring me up and down. I¡®m already starting to feel really uncomfortable. I knew I¡®m just no good with strangers. ?Alright you can go through, just stay out of trouble.¡° (Demon #1) Just like that? No fee to get into town or something like that? Nobody wants to check if I have any hidden weapons? And now that I think about it, wouldn¡®t a human be killed on sight? Is there peace between the humans and demons or maybe humans don¡®t even exist? That¡®d be nice, but I doubt that to be the case. Well, no use thinking about it I guess. ?Yes I will, thank you.¡° (Me) Walking through the gates I could see that this town isn¡®t as bad as i thought it would be. Quite thriving, even. Lots of huge people with leather armor and weapons. I mean, if you walk through a wasteland and find a city there you wouldn¡®t really expect much, right? I wonder if this is because of magic. But now that I¡®m here, what am I supposed to do? I don¡®t have any money or anything that¡®s valuable after all so finding some work should be my first priority. Maybe there¡®s an adventurer¡®s guild where I can take some requests. I always wanted to try being an adventurer anyway. Searching around town for something that looked like an adventurer¡®s guild I finally found a building that has a sign with two crossed swords on the wall. Below it are some symbols which are probably the language here but I can¡®t read it. The building is completely made out of stone and is at least 40m wide. People with armor and weapons are going in and out of the two story sized building, so I think it¡®s the right place. Quietly slipping through the huge double doors I saw that the building was seperated into two areas. At the right one there¡®s a bar with more than two dozen customers sitting there, drinking something that looks like beer and making a lot of noise. Probably the usual here and at any other adventurer¡®s guild. At the left one there¡®s a reception desk with quite the beautiful reception lady and one other person talking to her. There¡®s also a board with a countless number of what I think are requests next to the reception desk. If I had to take a guess I¡®d bet the people call it the request board or something like that. Anyway, by the look of things this is definitely the adventurer¡®s guild.The author''s content has been appropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon. While trying not to get noticed I walk up to the reception desk and hide behind the hulking giant of a man while waiting for them to finish. After fifteen minutes they¡®re still not finished talking about how good their lunch was so I lightly tap him on the back while trying to talk to him. ?Ehm, sir?¡° (Me) Suddenly the giant¡®s whole body jerked up out of surprise. He quickly turned around while I was thinking of what to say and suddenly hit me in the face with all of his strength. I got sent flying across the whole building before crashing into the wall and stirring up a cloud of dust. Cracks spread across the wall and a small crater formed at the point of impact. The whole guild was silent and stared at where I landed. Suddenly the reception lady shouted at the man she was talking with. ?What the heck was that for, Ethan!?¡° (Receptionist) Fucking shit, that hur- Hmm? It actually doesn¡®t hurt? ?I-I did it out of reflex! I couldn¡®t feel anyone approaching so I just-¡° (Ethan) At least I can still stand and I think my nose isn¡®t broken either. ?So you just punched someone in the face and send them flying!? (Clara) Clara started fiddling with the crystal for some time and after she was done she told me to touch the crystal. Putting my hand on the crystal the card began shining brightly before words started appearing on it. Somehow I can read the words on the card but no others. After it was done I took my hands off the crystal and the receptionist took the card to examine it. After seeing that nothing was wrong she handed it over to me. "Here''s your status card. The way it works is to say the word ¡ästats` and it''ll show you your stats. If you say ¡ästats all` everyone around you can see them. Only the owner, in other words you, can use it by the way." I guess I¡®ll ask if she could fill it out for me but damn this will be embarrassing. "Uhm, I can''t read or write. Could you please fill it out for me?" (Me) "Aww, of course my dear. It¡®s not that rare that people here don¡®t know how to read and write at first you know?" (Clara) After about 15 minutes of telling her what she needed to write down we finally finished and I was officially part of the guild. ?So, now that you¡®re part of the guild, do you want me to search for an easy quest for you or do you still need some time?¡° (Clara) I really need some money so I can just as well take one right away I guess. ?I¡®d like to take a quest right away, please.¡° (Celina) Clara walks over to the request board and starts looking for an easy quest. After finding a specific quest and coming back to me she hands me the sheet of paper with some words I can¡®t read written on there and a picture of a strange plant. ?For your first quest I¡®d recommend this one. It¡®s a quest about gathering the plant shown here, which is an ingredient for quite a lot of potions and is also used as an ingredient in cooking. Its name is mendal and it¡®s in a forest that¡®s about a day¡®s walk from here. Although it¡®s quite far away it¡®s a safe quest most beginners start off with.¡° (Clara) Hmm. If I were to go there now and find what I need in 3 hours I¡®ll be back in a bit more than 2 days. Can I get by for that long without food or water? Well, it¡®s not like I really have a choice, now do I? ?I¡®ll take this one, then. The guards seemed quite surprised that I signed up as an adventurer. It¡®s probably because not a lot of girls become adventurers. Pretty interesting skills and all but what do some of them do? I think I know what Fire Breath and Half Human Transformation do, but can I somehow look up what the others do? Oh, there¡®s a question mark next to the skills. Maybe it will tell me what the skill does if I touch it? No? Maybe if I focus on it?
Fire Breath:
Shoot an inferno of flames out of your mouth. The more MP is used to charge it the stronger it becomes or the farther it reaches. It¡®s advised to take in a lot of air before you use this skill. Consumes X MP/sec.
Ah, so that¡®s it. Hmm, I shouldn¡®t really use this in a forest or a cave, but otherwise it seems pretty useful.
Area Magic:
This skill will let you use any combat magic as long as the affected area is at least 1km^2. There¡®s no upper limit as long as the user has enough MP. You cannot cast any single target magic except for racial and non-combat magic. To use any saved spells say Area Magic - .
As far as I can tell Area Magic is useless in most situations. I¡®d need to fight an army for this to work and I¡®m just an adventurer. I doubt I¡®ll ever need this.
Half Human Transformation:
This skill transforms you into a human with horns or a tail according to your race. The transformation lasts for 10 days straight. If the transformation is canceled there will be a 1 hour cooldown period. To activate/deactivate say transformation on/off.
Well, it does what I expected but that 1 hour cooldown seems really annoying. I guess I¡®ll just go out of town before it runs out.
Limiter X:
As long as this skill is activated you will be limited to the average strength, speedand reaction time of a normal person/dragon depending on your current form. Only your Endurance, MP and HP will not be limited, although other people with sensory skills will think that you have anormal amount of MP. This skill will disappear if you have mastered control over your power and it will automatically be deactivated if the owner thinks his life is in danger. Say limiter on/off to activate/deactivate your limiter.
I guess this skill means that I¡®m at least above average strength-wise, right? Strong enough to not be able to not control my strength at least? I¡®ll test it later.
Normal Eyesight:
As long as this skill is activated you will see the world around you in normal detail. This skill has a time limit, you can only activate it for a maximum duration of 7 days in your entire life. You can deactivate the skill to preserve the duration.
Wait, don¡®t tell me! Deactivating the skill I found out the shocking truth! When I deactivate this I can¡®t see shit! How come my eyesight is still this bad even when I¡®m in another body and in a fantasy world!? Sigh I guess I¡®ll only use this skill for today because it¡®s my first day in this fantasy world and when I¡®m in a tough battle because I doubt that I would hit my enemies when I can¡®t even see them properly.

If any beings you don¡®t trust and have less than half your stats are in a radius of 500m from yourself they will feel extreme fear. This skill will automatically be activated if the owner¡®s mind is unstable. If it is automatically activated only people with less than three quarters of your stats won¡®t be affected and all transformation skills will be set on standby. User will also lose all reasoning and attack anyone in his path for 1 day.
Now this skill is nasty! I probably won¡®t ever use it consciously but if this skill gets activated automatically it''ll be a disaster!I really hope this won¡®t get activated all too easily.
Superior Senses:
Heightens the senses of sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch by severalfold. Also increases your sense for danger and improves your reaction time. You can choose which senses you want to enhance.
I think it¡®d be best to have this skill activated at all times in case of an ambush. Anyway, let¡®s try all the skills I want to test before I decide. Okay, first I take a deep breath and then I think of using a Fire Breath with 1 MP/sec. ¡®crackle¡¯ Out of my mouth comes a small fire that looks like it¡®d go out any second! Yes it works! I can use magic! Let¡®s try it again with 10.000 MP/sec! Take a deep breath and- ! BOOOOOM HOLY SHIT IT¡®S A FUCKING INFERNO! STOP! STO- ah, i-it stopped. I guess this means I¡®m OP, right? The ground in front of me melted from the heat and became a friggin¡® lake of lava. I can¡®t even see where it ends. This skill totally won¡®t be used unless It¡®s an emergency. I don¡®t want to turn this world back to its primal state. Next up is Area Magic I guess but I don¡®t even know any spells. Maybe I just need to imagine its effects and where it¡®s supposed to strike? I could try with making it rain on top of the lava I just made. Imagining it rain in a surface area of about 1km^2 a huge rain cloud started appearing out of nowhere. After a couple of seconds rain started pouring down and a massive amount of steam started to form as the rain hit the lava.

?Ah, so that¡®s what it meant with saved spells.¡° After the rain stopped and a small lake formed I went onto the next skill, Half Human Transformation. I wanna know how I really look like, after all. ?Transformation off.¡° Suddenly my vision started to shift and pain started assaulting my body. Closing my eyes after falling forward and putting my hands on the ground my body started convulsing and expanding. ?ROAAAAAR!¡° After a few seconds of extreme pain I couldn¡®t hold in my voice anymore and screamed but what came out wasn¡®t a human¡®s voice but a dragon¡®s roar! When the pain faded I opened my eyes and saw that I stood at least 20m tall! Looking down I could see two dark blue dragon paws with smooth scales and four claws. Turning my head back I saw huge blue wings and a long blue tail. Everything was covered with smooth little scales although they got bigger the closer they were to my torso. Staring at my reflection in the small lake I saw I had a long neck, a large snout, two vertically slit eyes and two large horns that curved backwards. I look terrifying but kinda cool at the same time! I like this! Flapping my wings and slowly taking off the ground felt as natural as breathing and soon I was flying around in the sky. After testing my new body while flying in the direction of the forest for about an hour I arrived at my destination. Landing at the edge of the forest I decided to test the other skills on the way back and transformed back to my Half-Human form. Taking out the quest paper and a sack I got from Clara I started looking for the plant in the picture. After searching around for 1 boring hour I found the allotted amount of plants and started walking back to town. Now to try deactivating my limiter. Maybe I¡®ll just punch a rock or something. Thinking that I decided to search for a rock in this endless wasteland. After randomly walking around I found a suitable rock that was about 3 meter high. Positioning myself in front of the rock I punch at full strength and shout. ?Limiter Off!¡° ,BLAAAAAAAAM¡® Completely pulverizing the rock with my fist a trail of destruction followed because of the air pressure. Blankly staring at the damage I just did a smile creeps across my face. Now this is how I want my adventure to start! To be OP as hell! If I wanted to I could destroy a whole town with one punch! How awesome is that!? If there¡®s a demon king here maybe I¡®ll pay him a visit sometime hehehehe. ?Limiter On.¡° Anyway, for now I¡®ll check out my superior senses skill and after that head back to town and do some more quests so I can rank up. Now, there¡®s no instructions on how to use this so I guess it¡®s used like the fire breath skill. Imagining my sense of touch to sharpen I suddenly get a strange feeling like thousands of insects crawling all over my body! Gross! Is this because I heightened my sense of touch? Deactivating the skill the strange feeling went away. Guess I¡®ll never use this skill for my sense of touch! I don¡®t want to experience that again! Trying again, but this time with my eyes my vision started literally shooting off into the distance without me even moving! When the town came into view it stopped. Trying to change the distance I figured out I could alter my view in many different kinds of ways, like being able to see even the smallest things like molecules or seeing far distances. When I enhanced my sense of smell I can smell things from a distance up to a couple of miles. I could also concentrate on a specific smell and block out all others to track it down. The same with hearing, I can hear the people of the town chattering from here and I¡®m also able to adjust how loud I hear it. By increasing my reaction time it feels as if time slowed down by severalfold and it feels as if I¡®m stuck in place. If I deactivate my limiter I¡®ll probably be able to move normally. Sadly I can¡®t really test my senses of taste or danger here. I¡®ll leave it for another time I guess. Time to head back to town. ?Transformation off.¡° I want to get there fast so I undo my transformation and fly back. After about an hour of flying I see the town in the distance so I transform back and walk the rest of the way. The town guards look quite surprised when I arrive but I don¡®t bother to ask why. I make my way back to the adventurer¡®s guild and after arriving I walk straight to the counter. Clara is also surprised to see me. I wonder why? ?I finished the quest. Here are the herbs.¡° (Celina) I hand her the sack filled with the herbs and the quest paper. ?You¡®re already back? Normally it takes people at least two days to finish this quest.¡° (Clara) Yeah, I¡®m pretty fast when I fly in my dragon form. ?I guess I¡®m just fast.¡° (Celina) ?Is that so? Anyway, here is your reward. It¡®s 3 silver and 50 bronze. I know it¡®s quite alot for such an easy quest but that¡®s only because it usually takes so long to complete. If you want to I could pick out another quest for you straight away but I¡®d advise against it since it¡®s already so late.¡° (Clara) ?I guess I¡®ll just go and eat something then.¡° (Celina) I haven¡®t eaten something for half a day and I¡®m quite worn out from all the things that happened today so I think I¡®ll just go to sleep after eating. ?I know an inn just down the street with good and cheap food if you haven¡®t found a place to stay yet. Just take a right after going out of the guild and you¡®ll see it at the end of the street. It¡®s the only building there with a sign above its door.¡° (Clara) ?Okay, got it. Bye.¡° (Celina) ?See you.¡° (Clara) Walking out of the door I realized I forgot something. ?Ah shit, I forgot to say thanks again.¡° (Celina) Chapter 3 Walking in the direction of the inn I soon found it at the end of the street. It was a two story high building made completely out of wood. Above the broad wooden door is a sign with a beer mugon top of a bed and some wordsbelow it. Quite strange to look at but I guess I''m not one to judge. I never really had a sense of art myself after all. Going through the door I walk up to thecounter on the left side of the room, next to a flight of stairs. Behind the counter standsan old man who looks like the innkeeper. Just wait a second." (Jim) After waiting for a minute or so the innkeeper came back. "The food will be ready in about 30 minutes. The room will cost 25 bronze and the food 15 bronze, so 40 in total." (Jim) "Ok." (Celina) Taking out the money from a pouch which I got with the quest I hand Jimthe 40 bronze coins. He puts the money in a pouch hanging at his waist and gives me a key. "Your room isright up the stairs the second room on the left. If you want to you can wait there and I''ll get you whenthe food is ready." (Jim) "I''ll wait there, then. Thank you very much." (Celina) "No problem. If you need anything I''ll be right here." (Jim) After nodding at Jimand saying thanks once more I walk up to my room. "I think he said the second door on the left, right?" (Celina) I open the door with the key he gave me and walk inside. The room is quite spacious, or at least bigger than my room on earth. It has onewindow, a bed, a table with twochairs and a closet. Not a lot but it''s just how I like it. I hate it when a room is too cramped. Sitting down on the bed I activate the superior senses skill for my hearing. It''s time to find out some stuff about this world!
So, after about 25 minutes of listening in on various converstations I found out that this world is called Meredith. There are twoknown continents, Ozira and Nitrin, with a total of ninecountries. Ozira, which is the continent I''m on right now, has twocountries and Nitrin the last seven, even though Ozira is bigger.I''m currently in a town called Garen''s Well, which is the second biggest town in this country Etreien. It''s a country full of demihumans and demons and the currency here is called chronos. There are gold chronos, silver chronos and bronze chronos, although most people just say gold, silver orbronze. Onegold is worth 100 silver and onesilver is 100 bronze. Anyway, Etreien is apparently at war with its neighboringhuman country Askil and there''s even a demon lord and four summoned heroes! Maybe they''re from earth, too? Oh, and if you wondered how this town is surviving without a river or any fields around it, they''re apparently trading with some kind of rare stone that can only be found here. One kilogram is apparently worth a couple of goldso they''re quite rich. Now to try out something I forgot when I checked my skills, which is to check what each stat does. After finding out what I wanted to know I walk out of my room and down the stairs in order to not bother Jim. I sit down at one of the tables at the back of the inn and wait for about five moreminutes until my food is ready. Jimwalks over with a plate full ofsteamed vegetables, someyellow sauce, which looks like sauce hollandaise, a sunny side up egg and some bread. "Here''s your food, little miss." I don''t wanna destroy the inn just bywalking after all. I run out of the inn and up above I see one hell of a meteor just a couple of kilometers above ground. How big is that thing!? It''s at leastas big as the whole town! Butwhere is Jim? I can''t really just search the whole town before that thing crashes. Maybe I should just wait until they do something? Or just go at it alone? The early bird catches the worm or something like that, right? So how should I do this? Maybe just punch it like S****** from O******* man? Nah, I don''t want the debris to destroy the town so maybe I should just burn it down with my Fire Breath? Or maybe I''ll do both! Ok, so first I''ll smash it and then I''ll disintegrate it with a full power Fire Breath. It should probably work out. Let''s do this! I gather strength in my legs and jump up at the meteor. I arrive in an instant and punch with my full strength. The meteor shatters and I create a foothold which I use to propel myself back down to the ground. Looking up upon landing I confirm the damage I did. "As expected that''s quite a lot of debris. Better do this fast before they get too close." (Celina) I take a deep breath and use a Fire Breath with 100.000 MP/sec. BLAAAAAM My Fire Breath covers the whole sky and the debris disintegrate into dust. "Guess that''s that. I wannagetsome sleep so I''ll let the others handle the smaller meteorites. I hate waking upright after falling asleep." (Celina)
