 The Beginning

    I woke up in a room that was really bright and dark at the same time. "Aren''t I dead? Yeah, I''m pretty sure I''m dead. So what am I doing here?"

    I awoke to a strange orange light as if my eyelids were closed. I tried to move towards it but ran into something leathery, I tried to feel around but noticed I didn''t have any limbs! I then moved my head around and noticed that the barrier was only a little bigger than me in a spherical shape. I was in an egg! I then decided to coil up a bit and surge forward to break the shell of the egg. It broke on impact and I saw the surrounding area for the first time it looked like a large jungle. I looked at myself and saw I was around 6" long and 1/4" thick with pitch black scales. Then I saw a blue box in front of me.

    With that figured out I decide to look for place to rest away from the rest of the eggs in case they turn out to be hostile. With that I go to search for a tree with a small hollow in it. I rest up for the rest of the day I decide to go hunt for small insects until I can hunt bigger prey more reliably. I find several large beetles right off the bat. I decide to sneak up and bite them while injecting a small amount of venom so I can get more than one.     With that I swallow the large bugs whole so I can digest them. I then move to the base of a bush to hide while digesting my meal. As I finish digesting my meal I feel myself grow out of my current skin and grow an inch longer while getting another 1/4" thicker. When I finish growing I begin to feel hungry again so I start going in the direction the beetles flew off but run across a baby rat that wandered to far away from the den. I immediately still mysits then begin to raise myself and strike the small mammal with my fangs piercing its heart. I then swallow my prey and rest myself so it can digest. When it finishes I grow another two" longer and a half inch thicker.


    I begin subconsciously flick my tongue to pick up the young rat''s scent and follow it to its den. As I arrive smell another 9 scents one a bit older then the rest. I begin my descent into the new den making as little noise as possible. When I get to the main burrow I single out the biggest rat and approach to bite it. Then as I near biting range the rat wakes and squeaks out a challenge. When it starts to charge I coil back and strike it in the neck flooding it with a large amount of venom. It dies before my fangs leave its body. I then make my way to 8 younger scents were I find rats a little bigger then the first rat I ate. I begin to kill then eat them two at a time till all that''s left is the adult I killed when entering. By the time all the young rats have been eaten I''m a little over 2'' long and 3" thick. I swallow the adult rat and digest it bringing another foot in length to my already growing body.


    I decide to look at my progress to how I''m doing.

    <td>Just think of Avara as one giant, violent nursery. It is a lot smaller than the other continents and you won''t find any magic beasts as they move to other continents to become stronger. Also if you decide at any time you want to lay some eggs you need to know that if you haven''t evolved they will be born at Evolution 0 while if you evolve they will be at a the evolution before your current form for example your on your fourth evolution they be born at a third evolutionary stage. Also you can lay eggs with any kind of serpent as long as she is on the same evolutionary stage as you.</td>

 Developments

    As I try to absorb all the information the floating blue thing gave me I receive another notification.

    Well damn I was hoping to hold onto that a while longer. Oh well.


    When I look around the burrow I notice that I shed a lot of skin during my feast. So much so that it blankets the entire floor. I begin to notice that the burrow smells like me and death. Fortunately I''m still able to move comfortably around in most of the burrow while some is now a tight fit.


    I decide that I should stay in the main chambers as they are the largest and easiest for me to move around in. I stay in area using the burrow as my resting area as the months pass by I continue to grow but at much slower pace.


    I''m now around eight feet long but still three inches thick (not that I mind) and found out I can spit my venom when defending myself. I found that I have an unnerving accuracy for shooting my venom into the eyes or open wounds. I also found that I developed a secondary organ that let''s me do a breath attack that basically sucks the life out of anything it touches (though I am immune) it comes out of two holes on the roof of my mouth that shoot out streams of poison that evaporates into a heavy gas that takes a couple minutes to disperse. The poison is extremely thin and oily while the gas looks like dark black smoke. I can use the smoke as the breath attack or I can use it to mask my escape.Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.


    I tested these new abilities out on several young mongeese I had found that seemed to crackle with electricity. While they seemed to avoid me "spitting" my venom into their eyes they couldn''t evade my breath attack dying after breathing it in. The plants around where I did my breath attack look like they just went through a long dry season.


    So enjoying my conquest (I was hungry) I checked up on the notifications that had been piling up.
