《Seraph, The Savior of the Humans》 Seraph #0001. Prologue Power begins to surge through the inanimate object laying on the table. Small sparks of electricity begin to flash through the air as a loud buzzing sound could be heard from the object. Once the shocks of burning electricity have stopped, smoke begins to rise from the still non-moving object. "No, no, no! This has to work somehow! This is my last hope." The coarse voice of a man could be heard and he did not sound happy. BANG~ The sound of the man hitting the metal table is heard and pain begins to shoot throughout his hand. The robotic tone voice of a woman could be heard. "Caution. Captain Mars, you have broken your hand and haven''t eaten anything in three days, please go straight to the medical bay." "No! I can''t stop now, you even said it yourself, my time is very limited. The cancer is spreading to my brain now and we can''t even stop.... it." The gaze of the old man goes towards the hand of the human looking body. The object he had inserted millions of watts of power into was, in fact, human looking but had some distinct features. Where his skin should be, there was a jet black metal the shone brilliantly. If the metal was removed, it has large sets of carbon fiber cables where the muscles and tendons should be. The reason the man was looking at the hand, in particular, was because he swore he saw it move. He sat there for a little longer but to no avail, nothing happened. He shook his head and went back to his favorite chair. There was a giant window in front of the chair and it had a beautiful view of the planet in front of him. He could feel anger build up inside of him as he thought about the creatures that lived on the planet below. "They break all ethics and ideas of science! It is blasphemy! They must be destroyed!" He slams his not broken hand into the seat of the recliner as his anger turns into pure fury. He intended on making Seraph sohe could destroy the annihilators but he assumed they are not in this alternate reality so he stopped making it for about half a year. So he thought of a different idea for him instead after a while. A devilish smile comes across his face as he wants to see the destruction he will surely cause in the future. He had gone down there once, to the new planet he was at and tried to teach them the ways of science but all they did was laugh at him, rob him, and leave him in a ditch brutally beaten and left for dead. He was able to transport back and that is when he began making Seraph again. The scientist could feel a pain begin to burn and a loud beeping sound began to emit from his bracelet. "I knew it was soon, but already? Well, Aphrodite, do as scheduled and pump as much power into Seraph #0001 until he is awoken. Then show him the video I made for him and serve him well." "Alright, will do Captain Mars." "Goodbye. What a beautiful sight to grace my eyes before I die." The old man began to speak more but his words slowly became more and more unintelligible as he continued to speak. After about a minute he slipped into a coma while the sun began to rise over the horizon of the planet. His final wishes and last 30 years were put into Seraph and if only he would know what it would end up doing in the end. He would be proud. The Beginning of the End. Chapter 1 Slight twitching movements in fingers are the first sign of life the Jet Black Exo made. His programming does a self-check and electricity begins to flow through his wires. The reactor core in his chest roars to life for the first time since its creation and a set of golden beams shoot out of the metallic skull of the Exo. After a few blinks, the vision of the Exo begins to clear up as the binary code his eyes send to his motherboard was hazy at first. Creaking is heard as his he sits up and the joints in his body have not been used at all. His movements are tense, stiff, and looks completely unnatural. He looks down at himself for the first time. All he sees is the color black and some bright reflections of his metallic plating. He decides to stand up but as his feet hit the floor and hemoves forward, he falls straight to the ground. CLANG~ The sharp sound of metal hitting metal is heard as the Exo hits the metal plated floor. He blinks a few times and realizes what he must do. Liquid begins to surge through his inner tubes and reaches all of his joints. The oil properly lubricates all of his body and he feels as if all the awkwardness and stiffness from before has completely disappeared. While being face first into the floor, he figures out how to get up on one knee and one hand on the ground. The stabilization in his head is off due to the lack of movement for some time. After about a minute, he is finally able to stand. He looks at his legs and tries to concentrate as hard as he can so he can walk. ''Bend right knee. Extend right leg. Put right foot on the ground.'' The Exo officially takes his first step and is impressed with himself. He goes to take another step but mixes up the second part of ''Extend left leg'' with ''Extend right leg'' and he begins to tip over once again. The floor is coming at him fast but something inside of him clicks. He effortlessly saves the fall by going into a handspring and swiftly lands on his feet again. He can feel that something inside of him had turned on and drastically increased his mobility and stability. He closes his eyes and focuses his processing core on the complete inside of his body. With doing this, he is able to do a tuning of his body. ''Tuning, start.''

The list went on and on and had every detail of every inch of his body and how it worked but these were the important ones. He decided to investigate the surrounding area and it somehow felt familiar to him. He walks over to the right of the room and found several workbenches covered in paper, metal parts, and even some items that looked like tools. He picked a tool that his motherboard told him was called a hammer. The long shaft was smooth and the top of it was heavy and made with a different material. CLICK~ A loud click was heard and the hammer was surrounded in a small bubble. This startled the Exo and caused him to drop the hammer. He looked at it again and the bubble was still there and was slowly rotating. ''Scan complete. Hammer: A hammer is a tool or device that delivers a blow to an object. Most specialized for each project they are made to accomplish. Whether it is to forge metal, dive nails, or even break items such as concrete or walls, these hammers vary much in shape, size, and structure.'' The Exo tilts his head as information begins to flow from a weird orb in his left eye to his motherboard. He looks at all the other objects on the tables and they are all surrounded by the same, rotating, weird bubble. The information of the items again begins to flow from this weird orb to his motherboard and the items range from Hand Saws to Miniature Particle Accelerators. "Oh my, you are awake Seraph #0001." CLICK~ The Exo does a small jump and lands in a position where his feet his slightly farther apart from before and his hands are raised into the air and looks like he is ready to deliver a karate chop to anyone who approaches him. His gaze darts all of the room and he is unable to find the source of the sudden voice. Finally, a bubble shows up around the several screens on the far side of the room. He slowly shuffles toward the monitor on the other side of the room while staying in his "threatening" stance. He finally approaches the monitors and carefully inspects them. Before his scan could complete, the screen in the middle lights up with the face of a woman. Unfortunately, the Exo was in Combat Mode and was prepared to fight or die. CRASH~ As much as he looked incredibly silly, his reflexes where inhuman as before the whole screen could fully light up, his fist was in the middle of it. The screen is obliterated into thousands of glass shards and electricity begins buzzing out of the now exposed wires. Even though he doesn''t need to breathe, he lets out a sigh of relief and went outof Combat Mode. "That wasn''t very nice Seraph #0001." CRASH~ The voice appeared again and another screen tried to light up but the Exo put his other fist inside of the fragile screen. The Exo was back into Combat Mode in an instant as he was once again surprised. "I''m sorry that it has come to this Seraph #0001, but this must be done for now." A large needle pierces the back of the Exo and his whole body begins locked into place with only his eyes being able to move. The screen to his left lights up and the face of an unknown figure appears and is smiling ear to ear. "Hello Seraph #0001, this might hurt your motherboard a bit but you can handle it. Password, Mars2523." Knowledge is Power. Chapter 2 Seraph awakes with a sudden jolt and springs back to life. He can feel there is something wrong with his head and goes into a status check. Turns out his Motherboard had been overworked and was damaged slightly. He didn''t know how to fix it so he became slightly worried. He looked around his surroundings and they were familiar as this was the first place he had woke up, but something was different. They seemedtoo familiar. Like he had lived here for 100 years and knew every single inch of this place like the back of his hand. He went back to the workbench he first encountered and noticed that he knew exactly what all the notes all over it meant now. One, in particular, caught his eye for some unknown reason. The dualRail Guns, better known as Thalia andAraceliaaccording to the notes on the table. As he was reading the notes to see where to find these, the same voice from before spoke up. "Good morning, Captain Seraph." Before, the Exo would''ve been put back into fight mode and ready to smash some monitors, but now he recognized this voice as Aphrodite, the ship''s AI. "Morning Aphrodite, what exactly did you do with me earlier?" A surprisingly human sounding voice came from the Exo as he spoke for the first time in his existence. "I fulfilled your father''s orders." ''My father?'' He didn''t know he had a father and somehow understood what it was. "What were his orders?" "Simply show you the video he had made for you, with it, you would gain all the knowledge locked into of your memory cards. All the knowledge you have was directly transferred from the brain of Captain Mars." Seraph did notice he has become much more intelligent than he was before and even knew some passwords to get in secret parts of the ship. He walks to the door and it automatically open. The sudden movement startles him a little but he was kind of expecting it. He continues throughout the ship, roaming the numerous halls with ease and soon finds himself upon a door with the word "Study" on it. He enters and finds that all the walls are bookshelves that are overflowing with books. He ignores the books for now and heads straight for the desk in the middle. It''s surprisingly neat and only has a small computer on it. He sits down in the chair and it creaks slightly from the weight of the Exo. He wasn''t heavy but he wasn''t exactly light either. Coming in at 6'' tall and weigh about 235 pounds, he definitely weighs more than he looks. He clicks the power button and it makes a loud humming sound as if it hasn''t been turned on in a long time. The screen lights up and surprisinglyisn''t shattered instantly. It shows a home screen that has a man in his mid-thirties with an arm around a woman around the same age as the background. Seraph looks for a certain file and finds ones called "Your Objective My Son.". Seraph clicks it and is met by the face of a familiar man. "It seems my life wasn''t a waste if you''re seeing this but that also means I died before you awoke. I know this is probably a lot for you but don''t worry, you will surely meet new people and learn a lot in your travels." The man in the screen begins to choke up and stops talking. He takes a big breath and tears are streaming down his face. "Your mother and I, we made your AI hoping to save humanity from the Annihilators, but as soon as we finished you, she was killed in an explosion while saving you and me. Your AI is that of God tier and took us 20 years to make. When we had nothing left, we still had a small burning hope inside of us that you would save all of mankind but we failed to make you in time. We failed, but now you have another chance to redeem our failure!" A feeling of anger began to well up inside of the Exo as if he was there and experienced his mother''s death himself. The man tried to regain his cool as of the death of all humans except himself happened yesterday. "Now, I have put all of my memories up to now inside of you, and even though you will be safe from the Annilihators, there is a new threat on which you must face. The world you are orbiting right now, they have a thing called magic. Whatever this is.... Destroy it. It breaks all the laws of science your mother and I lived by and even made." Father''s sadness turned into pure rage as he remembers what those barbaric creatures did to him when he tried to teach them the truth, and Seraph shared the same anger. "Will you give me this last wish son? I know we never met, and you have no reason to believe me but can you do this one thing? Whatever you chose son, remember, your mother and I built you with love and were our life''s work. I love you. Good luck on your choices." The screen turned black and the video ended. The Exo sat there for a few seconds and closed his eyes and nods his head as if making his choice. He opens his eyes and they are burning with pure motivation. "I will do as you say, Father, I will destroy them no matter what." Getting Armed and Ready. Chapter 3 Seraph maneuvers his way expertly throughout the ship and is soon met with a door that has the words ''Armory'' on it. He walks towards the door and it opens by itself just like the others. As he walks into the room, his vision is met with a complete arsenal of weapons. He is able to recognize every single one of them and his eyes are drawn to the two in the glass case. These two weapons he is interested in are the Dual Railguns. He touches the glass and it instantly vanishes but a well-trained eye could tell that the glass was just pulled down at a high speed. As his hands meet the grips he can tell that these Railguns were made for him as the grips fit his hands perfectly. He lifts his hands into the air and is able to feel the immense weight of these weapons, but it feels very slight to the Exo due to his insane amount of strength. He points the guns towards the door and is able to tell he can aim each gun with each eye, basically, he can aim at two places at once. The left eye aimed the left-handedgun and the same for the right side. He looks for a place to put these guns but then realizes he is wearing no clothes at all. He looks to the wall to his right and sees a glass tube. Inside he finds a manikin wearing a black Dri-Fit shirt with a pairof same colored sweatpants. They seem to be fitted to his body and he decides to put them on. He slides the clothes on and instantly realizes what these are. They aren''t your average exercising clothes but in fact, a thin layer of nanites that can adjust their shape to whatever type of clothes you want to wear. They are also extremely strong as once the nanites make a bond with each other, their metallic bond is almost inseparable with the exception of extreme weapons of destruction. The nanites connect to Seraph''s mind but he decides to leave them in this form since it is the way his father left it. A sudden glimmer on the manikin catches the Exo''s eye. It seems to be a ring that looked like a gold band. He takes the ring off of the manikin and puts it on. A surge of information connects to his mind as a new ability is unlocked. This new ability is that he is able to summon any weapon from the arsenal he wants into his hands. The way this works is by creating a small black hole the can have weapons be put into it and sent to the armory or take weapons out. He decides to try this and send the Dual Railguns back to where they were.This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work. Small black holes appear in front of the Railguns and it begins to engulf them. As they begin to disappear in front the Exo, the barrels appear back in their case. Soon the Railguns are out of his hands and are fully back into the glass case. This amazes Seraph as he lets out a small ''Woah'' after the transportation is complete. He looks at all the other weapons and they seem to range from your average looking sword to complex cannon looking objects. Seraph knows how to use all of these and can tell exactly what they do. If he could smile, he would have one ear to ear right now. "Perfect weapons to destroy the masses. You did well father." After about 20 minutes of practicing getting weapons in and out of the black hole, Seraph decides it''s time to take a small ship down onto the planet and begin its destruction. He walks back into the room he first came into life in and goes to the massive window on the far wall. As he gets close to it he sees a leather recliner he hadn''t noticed before. He walks up to the recliner and sees a pearly white skeleton sitting there, staring at the planet in the distance. Seraph assumes this is his father and puts his hand on his skull. He closes his eyes and looks through his father''s memories. Spending countless hours building Seraph, plotting revenge for his wife and then directing his anger towards this new planet and his inhabitants. After a while, Seraph feels like he is ready to enter this new world and begin his father''s final wishes. He takes one last look at the planet and can feel a small tinge of anger inside of his motherboard. He decides that now is the time to leave and he makes it to the Ship Bay. The size of the ship might seem enormous to the average person, as it has 7 decks that can house up to 20 rooms each, but this is, in fact, thesmall size of a ship in the future. The Ship Bay is unlocked and the door opens but not before letting out a loud creak as if it hasn''t been openedin many years. Three small, one manned ships, are housed inside of the Ship Bay and Seraph decides to use his father''s favorite, the Mercedes Galaxy, to get where he wants to go. A door opens on the side of the ship and Seraph effortlessly takes control of it and goes to head out the Ship Bay. The door opens and the vacuum of space begins to suck all of the air out of the Ship Bay, not like Seraph needed it to breathe or anything. The ship starts to pick up speed as it hurdles towards the planet and it shows no signs of slowing down.
