《Absorbed》 Chapter 1 - Forest or Dream? *Yawnnn* He stood up from the chair of his desktop and walks towards his bed he suddenly fell down face first in his bed, He was soundly sleeping. After sleeping for hours he opened his eyes but what his eyes saw was not The Roof of his House instead it was a Clear Sky. He suddenly pinched his cheeks. But nothing happened, He then sat up. *Maybe i''m so sleepy making me dream like never before?* He thought to himself, *No no no no, I normally sleep like that but it was not like this before, This seems more Realistic than what i always forget, Well lets just see what this dreams brings to me then* He then stood up thinking that. What he saw was plenty of tree *A Forest huh* He smiled and walks inside. He could hear the sound of the Grass and Trees Rustling he could even hear the sounds of some insect making it really life like. *I just hope that I wont see any human eating animals here* He thought. After drinking he Removed his clothes and jump into the Small Lake. he felt refreshed. *What should I do it seems like this Dream is pretty Long, am I sleeping that long? I walked for like 6 hours already but I am not yet back and I''m so Fu**ing hungry what should I do.* After 15 minutes of thinking He left the water and putted his clothes on he was still wet because he did not have any towel with him making his clothes very uncomfortable to wear. Chapter 2 - Captive or Ally? He then continued walking but this time alongside the river so that he can just drink again if he was thirsty, *But i still can''t solve the hunger problems damn it all!* after thinking about that He then changed his direction toward the forest again. It has a size of a watermelon and it has the color of Red with a little bit of blue dots, Making him dare not to eat it, So he just walked past It. Looking up he could see that the sun is almost down, Making him think *Why the fuck am I still here, Don''t tell me that This place is real, If so what am I gonna do. I am going to die because of hunger and I am a Bit Thirsty also!* Then suddenly he heard footsteps coming closer and closer. He then ran to the source of footstep but he suddenly putted a surprised reaction because of what he saw, It was Small Green creature with two Long ears half naked, and has One Spear in their hands and What he saw was actually five of it. *What The Fuck!, A Goblin! Is This A Freaking Fantasy Dream? Now what am I gonna be held captive!?* He thought. The 5 Goblin noticed him too and they talked to each other, *Maybe they are talking either they are going to take me or they are going to eat me Oh noo just thinking about it makes me feel hopeless, So I Guess I can just run? or should I fight. I remember That they are not that strong anyway right? Well I guess I should wait first.* Thinking about that he just stood there waiting for the goblins to finish their talking. But while listening he suddenly heard a voice saying "Do you wish to understand what they are saying? After waiting for three seconds he suddenly understood what they were talking about, and he was half right it was either Taking him to their boss or make him a slave or kill him on the spot, And Making him a slave was the talk of three of them and kill him on the spot was on the other 2. By then they decided that they will make him a slave, But then they heard him say "Wait wait can''t you just bring me to your boss please?" while kneeling down, They were surprised that a human could talk the goblin language so they said "How can you speak our language? and what''s your name". He then said "My Name is Klaine and I don''t know why I can understand you so please forgive me for not giving a answer to that question." The Five goblins then said " Are you Mocking us? How can you say that you don''t even know how you can understand us? Are you dumb or what?" Klaine then answered " I don''t really know" The Five goblin looked at each other then nodded " Okay we will bring you to our boss don''t even try to run", "Okay okay I wont even try to run but please can I have some food?" One of the goblin then said "Okay okay come with us we will go to the boss and decide if we can give food to you or not". Klaine Just followed them without saying another word One was in front of him and Two on each side making him feel like he can never run even if he try. After 1 minute of walking they arrived Klaine could see about 15 more goblin and one goblin was a bit Bigger and he is actually wearing an armor. *Hmm A Armored Goblin!* the five goblins then called out to him "Boss we got a human here but he can understand our language!" The Armored Goblin then walked towards them and looked at Klaine. The Armored Goblin Then Said "Can you really understand us?" while giving a fierce look. Chapter 3 - Green Tiger Klaine Nodded and said "I do I can understand you." The Goblins were shocked except the goblins who caught him because they already knew it. "This guy can really understand us! hahaha i never thought that we would see a human who can understand us! even our Shaman never told us about Human who can understand us! hahaha We are lucky aren''t we?" The Armored goblin then Said. *A Goblin Shaman? Maybe their real leader is the Goblin Shaman? then there might be magic in this dream haha atleast I will be able to see magic even if it''s a dream.* Klaine thought. "Well I guess I will let you come with us on the way to the tribe and talk with the shaman about your fate do you have any problem with that?" The Armored Goblin Said "Sure I have no problem it''s better to be with you just to be safe anyway" Klaine Replied with a slight chuckle. *I just hope that they wont make me their slave atleast i have some hope, It''s better to have some than to have none.* "Oh and can you give me some sword so that I can protect my self because who knows how dangerous this place is" Klaine added. The Armored Goblin then said "Sure thing, One of you guys give him a Iron Sword." then one goblin walked towards Klaine gave Him an iron sword "That sure was fast. What if I suddenly turned mad and kill you all?" Klaine Said. The Armored Goblin Replied "Hahahaha you think you can escape by killing us?, Even if you have a sword I believe we can still kill you.". *Woahh such a high arrogance* (the one in the left is his mind) "well that''s true anyway hahahaha" Said Klaine. "Well then let''s go back to the tribe" Said the Armored Goblin. Klaine Suddenly said "Wait can I have some food first?", "Sure why not we don''t want you to die of hunger before we are even back to the tribe, Guys give him some food" The Armored Goblin said. One goblin walked towards Klaine again with a meat in his hands, Klaine Grabbed the meat and suddenly ate it like a hungry beast. "Woah Woah calm down man we still have some anyway no need to eat like that." The Goblin who gave him the food said. The Armored Goblin then said "Let him eat like that I guess he did not have some food for many days, He''s lucky to have found us but we are also lucky anyway hahaha". The Armored Goblin said "Be Careful It''s an Green Tiger." *Oh so Im not wrong in the name but don''t tell me its a natural color?, well my dream is freaking creative* Klaine Said in his mind, The Green Tiger Suddenly charged at the one Goblin, Klaine thought that the goblin would die, But Unexpectedly the Goblin dodged by rolling to the side , Klaine never thought that the goblin would be so smart but klaine didn''t know that it wasn''t because the goblin was smart but because of experience. The Armored Goblin then charged at the Green Tiger Slashing his sword downwards. The Green Tiger was wounded you could see a 1 inch deep sword cut. The Green Tiger lets out a roar and charged at The Armored Goblin. The Armored Goblin blocked the attack and smashed at the Green Tiger. Seeing a Opportunity to attack Klaine Charged and Stabbed at the Green Tiger before the Armored Goblin Even Signalled for it, The Armored Goblin did not expect that Klaine would suddenly Rush just by seeing the opportunity but he did not care about it for now and shouted "Now!" Chapter 4 - Absorb Points? Once The Goblins heard the word Now they started Attacking the Green Tiger. They did the basic Slash and Stab, Even Klaine Did that but The Goblins Attack could only leave a small damage for the Green Tiger while Klaine can leave a 4 inches deep slash just like the Armored Goblin but no one really realized it because they were focusing on killing the Green Tiger. KRrrrrrrr The Green Tiger last cry could be heard, That last cry was very quiet even The Goblin could barely hear it. After the last Cry the Green Tiger stopped it''s Breathing and Struggle. Seeing that they finally killed it the Armored Goblin said "Finally we killed it, Are you okay Klaine!?", Hearing that Klaine Nodded his head. the Armored Goblin then said "Okay we will get the things we can use from the Green Tiger first, You can rest." After saying that they started skinning and Butchering the Green Tiger. But Klaine suddenly heard a voice. "Congratulations on your First kill you have earned 3 Absorb Points for Killing it with somebody and 10 points for the First kill in this world, Would you like to hear the things you can get from the Green Tiger?", *That voice again! and what the hell is absorb point well I guess I can just check it out.* Klaine thought for a moment before saying "Yes" in a low voice. Suddenly the voice before said these things slowly: Green Tiger Strength: 25 Agility:20 Vitality:15 Endurance:30 Intelligence:7 Magic Resistance:5 Klaine was shocked at what he heard but he was shocked enough so he recovered fast and said "Spend 5 Points for Strength, and 5 Points for endurance" in a low voice, He only used 10points because he thought that it would only give him 5 for eachanyway but that was still enough for him he would like to get familiar with these things first but then thought that there''s no need because he was in a dream anyway. They then walked again. While walking The Armored Goblin talked with Klaine. "Well that was really crazy Klaine your reaction was pretty fast that really made me shocked, maybe when you were saying that You can even killus when handing the swordthat might not be exaggeration too hahaha, Well I just hope that you wont try to fight with usto death." Klaine Smiled and replied with low voice too "Hahaha don''t worry I wouldn''t even dare to fight you, seeing you fight like that made me see that you are really strong hahaha." The Armored Goblin then said "Haha you flatter me too much." *Wow this goblin really took that seriously? hahaha they are really dumb then* Klaine thought to himself. Chapter 5 - Failure to go back After walking for about 1 hour they arrived at a small gate with fences around, It was not really well made *Well I guess their Craftmanship is still bad as expected of a Goblin Village, But the sun is already down its a bit creepier with those sounds in the forest so I guess I can keep up with this kind of house first and who knows I might wake up in my room again when I sleep*. The Armored Goblin said "We are here, Come with me I''ll show you the place where you can rest becausewe need to rest for the night before meeting the Elder." Klaine just nodded and followed him. Walking away the Armored Goblin Led him to an empty Tent. Before leaving, the Armored Goblin said "Don''t go out just yet the others doesn''t know about a human being here just yet, that''s all." Klaine then Replied "Don''t worry I''m feeling tired so I''ll just sleep" The Armored Goblin just nodded his head and walked away Klaine then entered the Tent and lay down on the beast skin on the floor. *Atleast Beast skin is betterthan a floor.* Klaine thought. *But really what is that voice. hmmmmmm , hmmmmmmmmmm , hmmmmmmm well let''s try to call it.* he thought and suddenly said in a low voice "Hello are you there??" After eating he sat on the chair of his desktop and turned his desktop on *seriously after getting that dream I feel bad playing with keyboard and mouse only, well I''ll just go back to my normal life play and play until I can find a job that accepts me again* But then he heard someone saying his name "Klaine, Klaine wake up we will meet the elder now" Klaine then said "Wait who''s that and what elder? oh that Elder" *Wait that was a dream right? wait who''s talking anyway what the actual fuck?* he suddenly found himself back to the tent laying down on that Beast skin, With The Armored Goblin outside the tent calling him. He suddenly said "Coming wait" *Wasn''t this suppose to be the dream and my room the real!!!!?* Chapter 6 - Bootlickers *Well damn what do I do now, Well not like there''s anything for me in that world and not like it is confirmed that I''m not in a dream I still have one day to check if it really is a dream or no, Who knows maybe I accidentally slept while playing? hah not like its possible to happen when I did not even put a sleeping pills on my coffee. I''ll just find it out in 1 more day if I still can''t go back after 1 day nothing''s gonna happen anyway since I was alone in that world and this world seems more fun but well I''ll wait.* Thinking about that he then left the tent Outside the tent the Armored Goblin saw Klaine and said "Let''s go the Elder is waiting". Klaine then Replied "Okay, let''s go but how long did I sleep?". "Depends if you slept after you enter the tent then it was 6 hours if not then I dont know" The Armored Goblin Replied *6 Hours Only huh...* Klaine Thought to himself while walking along the Armored Goblin. Chapter 7 - Kirgeol The Armored Goblin said "Let''s Go inside the Elder is waiting." Klaine then opened the tent and directly goes inside the tent. There he saw A old looking Goblin with bone necklace on his neck and was wearing a Ragged Black Cloak and he also have a Staff like thing with a beast looking skull stuffed in it. After The Armored Goblin got in he immediately knelt down and said "Greetings to the Elder, He is the human I was talking about" Klaine just bowed slightly after hearing that. The Elder then said "You can stand up, I see this human is Interesting indeed, Where did you found him again?".The Armored Goblin stood up and said "We found him while we were resting in the forest. My subordinates saw him while he was walking, I don''t know how he ended up there" "I see very good you may leave us for now, I wish to talk with him." The Elder said, Hearing that The Armored Goblin quickly left. "Now human what is your name? Why were you in the forest? Why can you understand us?" The Elder Asked without stop. Klaine then said "My name is Klaine, As for why I was in the forest I don''t know or maybe I forgot, Same as with how I can understand you." The Elder then replied "Hmmm I think your memory has been lost then..... Well I can''t keep asking question related to your past if you forgot your memories. But how did you know your name is Klaine?". Klaine then said "Well I woke up without any memory except the memory of my name." "Too bad I really wanted to know how you get to know of our language since no human should be able to understand us that''s what I know since I was born, They said Human are crueler than a beast they Betray people close to them for Rank, Money and Some even kill for fun That''s what the old people said when I was young. So, May I ask you why did you not attack us?" The Elder said *Oh So this is really those kind of things huh where they kill their own for ranks money, well not likes there''s any change it''s just the way of fighting that is changed, Maybe there''s even some of those so called slaves here?, Well let''s just answer him for now*. Klaine then replied while shaking his head "No no, I don''t want to fight someone who did nothing wrong to me but If you guys were the one who attacked me first I''ll fight even if it means my Death." Klaine Said "Well some of them fights back but we are able to keep them since not all of them are trained fighters and some are only normal herb gatherer without any guards trying their luck in this forest and those trained fighters are always Injured because of the beasts inside the forest making us able to keep them working, Luckily there''s no Army trying to find us or else we are doomed to die" The Elder Replied "I see and do you know the name of the nearest kingdom?" Klaine asked again. "Hmm from the way you are asking, Are you trying to go to a kingdom? Because i don''t recommend going there at your current strength how about you stay with us first and try to strengthen up?" The Elder said Klaine then said "Well I''m not yet planning on going I just wanted to know the name of the Nearest kingdom because i also don''t trust in my strength, Because who knows what will I see and encounter on the way there so if it''s not a bother I would like to stay here for a while." The Elder quickly said "Don''t worry Don''t worry it''s okay even if you stay for a long time, I''ll tell my people so that they won''t try messing with you. and The name of the Nearest Kingdom is Kingdom of Vesha. It''s said that they are currently at war with the Kingdom of Thuiya. That''s all of my knowledge about the kingdoms right now." "Thank you Elder that was helpful." Replied Klaine. Chapter 8 - Center Klaine then stood up and left the tent after talking with Hiovnuc, Klaine heard Hoivnuc calling the Armored Goblin to come inside the Tent. The Armored Goblin outside the tent then quickly entered after hearing that. "Prelaz, Quickly inform all of them that he is an ally of us and do not fight him whoever makes a move towards him will die go quickly Inform them, and he will be staying until he wants." Hiovnuc said to the Armored Goblin. "I understand elder I will go tell them now." Prelaz then replied. After saying that he left the tent, Klaine saw the Armored Goblin and said "What did he say?", The Armored Goblin then replied "He said to Inform all of the goblin in the tribe about you.", Hearing that Klaine just nodded. The Armored Goblin then walked and Klaine quickly followed. After walking for about 1 minute they arrived at something that looks like a center of the tribe there was a small stone and a horn on top of it. Klaine saw that the Armored Goblin was walking towards it and then grabbed it. He blew in the horn and it produced a loud sound enough for everybody in the Tribe to hear. The Other goblins hearing that, quickly stopped what they were doing and walked towards the center of the Tribe. Klaine who hear and saw that was dumbfounded, He did not know what will happen maybe they will execute him or something, but he chose to wait. after about another minute The Center was completely packed Klaine quickly asked the Armored Goblin "What''s happening why are we surrounded don''t tell me you are executing me and they are gonna watch?". The Armored Goblin hearing that laughed and said "No no we are here to inform them about you I already told you didn''t I?" they were on top of the stone so they were clearly seen by the goblins no matter how far they were. They never thought that the Elder would befriend or allow a Human inside the Tribe because they knew that the humans were cruel and they were told to kill them when they saw them because that''s for their protection because even if they never attack them the humans will be the first one to move, but right now the Elder was the one who allowed a human inside the tribe. "I know you guys are shocked but don''t worry this human can understand all of us so there''s no need to be scared and that''s also one of the reason the Elder allowed him to be here for no matter how long he wants. And that''s all, you can go and do your things again just remember don''t bother him, and I''m pretty sure he''s not bad." Hearing that they were shocked again. Because they never thought that a human would understand them someday. But some still did not believe and said "How can you prove that he can really understand us!!!". Klaine Hearing that then said "Don''t worry I can even speak with you if you like." they looked around to find who was talking but then they saw that it was Klaine now there was no need to doubt because he himself spoke. "Now you saw that he can understand and even speak who else oppose to this?" The Armored Goblin said. Seeing that no one was going to speak he said "Good now you can go back to what you were doing". Chapter 9 - Thinking Everyone then left for their own things, The middle of the tribe became normal like it was before. Klaine then asked "What now?", "Hmm you are free to do anything you want but I think it''s better to not show up too much in front of the other goblin since there''s no one to make sure that they are not gonna attack you, so I say that you stay on the tent before in there my subordinates can atleast protect you if someone is daring enough" Prelaz said. "Hmm okay then" Klaine said. They then walked back to the tent before. Klaine then said "Okay I''m just gonna be inside so if anything is needed for me to be done just call me." Prelaz Nodded and said "Okay I''ll call you later for food, and the Water is there by the way" he pointed to the direction near the other tents. "I''ll see you later" Klaine then goes inside the tent and sat he pondered about everything that happened in the past days. I think it will take time before I can finally return back to reality, But dreaming about the reality in this thing I considered a Dream seems confusing, I don''t know anymore I can''t even have the help from this useless voice like thing that showed up of nowhere when that thing was killed, I wonder how far is the closest kingdom from this so called Kirgeol Forest. But I really need to consider Strengthening my self first since I feel like I''m only stronger by little than Perlaz and those Trained Fighters are even injured by the monster crawling or running inside this forest and even this tribe can''t really fully control a Trained Fighter unless they were injured, Just tells how strong this Fighter and the monster crawling or running in this forest are, But how can istrengthen myself then? Maybe help Perlaz with hunting beasts?, or Maybe punch those trees until my knuckles break? or Just wait for this dream like thing to end? But what if it doesn''t end? Anyways the Second option isn''t really a comfortable one since fighting a beasts with Perlaz and the others seems much more easier right? I guess I''ll have to ask Perlaz to bring me with him when hunting beasts. He finally finished thinking about the thing he will do.Love this story? "Hello" and the one who gave him the meat before said "Don''t eat that fast again okay? haha", Klaine replied on each one of them and said to the one who gave him meat before "Haha, don''t worry I was just really hungry that time before" while scratching his hair with a smile. They then walked towards the bonfire seeing a huge meat fixed in a stick on top of the fire someone said and asked "Haha a big meat again. Boss what kind of meat is this from?" Perlaz then said "It was from a random boar near our camp. I was lucky since I saw it was pretty much injured on the left side of its body so I succeed in killing it alone." The one who asked the question then said "Nice a meat from a boar, and we were really lucky for it to be injured why would the one who injured it left it though." "Well maybe he actually fought to death or something like that well let''s not mind it for now, atleast we can have a nice food haha" Perlaz said. They then started digging using their weapons Klaine did the same with the sword provided to him before. When he tried to grab the meat he finally felt how hot it was, He never thought that it was hot as a newly cooked food since some of the goblins were fine by it being in their hand. The bear raised its paw trying to block it, Klaine saw this and he suddenly sprinted and swung the sword at its exposed back. Prelaz sword was blocked but Klaine sword managed to hit the bear, Klaine retreated back after hitting the bear since the cut was too shallow. *Looks like this bear have better defense than the tiger before* Klaine thought. The Bear was enraged when someone managed to sneak on its back as he quickly slapped the sword that Prelaz was holding away. The Sword flew out of Prelaz hand as Prelaz retreated Prelaz felt a wave of pain on his hands when the sword flew out since the Bear had great strength. Prelaz managed to swing his sword on the side of the bear leaving a small cut as he quickly retreated after that. The Bear got more enraged as it started furiously swinging its paw and charging at the goblins at the same time. He got stabbed 1 time and cut 2 times of course this black bear would be angered. Now that the Bear was moving furiously the blood from the stabbed part is also coming out faster drenching that side of the part with blood. The Goblins just kept trying to dodge because even when they ran they were much slower than this bear. This Bear is fast despite its size but the speed of its paw can at least be dodged as long as there¡¯s space. The bear seeing that the goblin kept dodging its paw changed it way of fighting, instead of waving its paw it just charged and started biting. One goblin unluckily got bitten and died because the bear charged at him. Prelaz shouted ¡°Regroup! It should be weakening right now!¡± The Goblin Quickly followed orders as they ran toward Prelaz. Klaine could not really go there just yet because the Bear is targeting him right now luckily the bear is not as fast as the Tiger before while Klaine got an enhanced speed because of that absorb thing. At first he did not believe that his speed and strength did not increase but after fighting this bear he noticed the massive increase, not only did his damage boosted even his speed was the same as the Tiger from before. Making him able to run from this Bear, but the bear would still not give up and kept running after Klaine. The Bear was still charging, when Klaine jumped it tried to stop its self from moving but it still had to slide by a bit because it was going fast, Klaine quickly passed him and Klaine dropped just right behind him. Klaine quickly turned around and stabbed the butt of the bear with all of his strength. The sword managed to get in deeper than the first stab. Klaine quickly pulled out the sword and started running again. RhoOOAARRR!!!!!! The Bear quickly roared in pain as it suddenly stood up like a human again. It roared for at least 3 second before suddenly becoming silent as it collapsed on the ground. Klaine heard something collapsing on the ground so he quickly turned his head seeing the collapsed bear, *did it just suddenly die?* he said in his mind. Klaine started walking to the collapsed bear but was still on his guard, because who knows maybe this bear is faking death. But that suspicion quickly disappeared as he neared the Bear. It was not really dead and was still breathing. *It probably collapsed because of blood lose?* Klaine thought So seeing that the bear was still alive he quickly stabbed the head of the bear, but he could not pierce through that much anymore since he was exhausted but it still got in after stabbing the same place four times.
