《When The Laws Of Men Crumble》
Prologue Part 1 - Breakfast Mayhem?
Upon waking up, a feminine voice came from my right. ¡°Good morning, Kyouya-sama.¡±
I yawned, covering my mouth with the back of my left hand, before greeting the beauty using my right arm as a pillow. ¡°Good morning, Kuroha.¡±
She wore an innocent smile but beneath that was a woman with lecherous thoughts. Her left hand slid to my thigh as she spoke seductively. ¡°Want to play a bit before we start the day, Kyouya-sama?¡±
With her soft touch circling my rod, I couldn¡¯t stop myself from getting in the mood. ¡°It seems doing it eight times wouldn¡¯t satisfy someone as perverted as you.¡±
¡°That¡¯s a rude to thing to tell a lady, Kyouya-sama.¡± She said with puffed cheeks, but her hand grabbed my magnum, stroking it gently as her thumb played with the tip.
Feeling my body heat up, I turned to her, pulling her face towards mine. ¡°Let me apologize by ravaging your lips.¡±
¡°You brute¡± She uttered quite joyfully as she closed her eyes.
When our lips touched, I penetrated her defenses and played with the insides of her mouth. It wasn¡¯t long before her tongue clashed with mine.
She abandoned my junior and wrapped her arms around my neck. My junior got lonely so I lifted her on top of me and thrust my junior between her thighs, my right hand moving to her rear.
After a light slap, I started molding her butt cheek like clay. Her cheeks reddened like mine did long ago and tightened her thighs while humping slowly.
When I could no longer hold it in, I reversed our position and suddenly slammed my rod all the way in.
She twitched wildly for a second before trapping me with her legs and swaying her hips. She grabbed my head and fought my tongue more violently, almost pushing the battle into my mouth.
The sound of our colliding flesh soon filled the room. Squelching sounds followed as her juices covered our nether regions.
As we reached the highest point of pleasure, our lips finally separated and released moans of joy.
We exchanged our vows before climaxing at the same exact moment.
¡°Mmm¡ I love you¡ ahnn¡ Kyouya-sama¡¡±
¡°Augh¡ I love you too¡ guh¡ Kuroha¡¡± White fluid burst out of my magnum, filling herspecial place.
We took a short break after our little morning exercise before taking a bath together.
***
After getting dressed up, Kuroha went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. On the other hand, I went to the living room and watched the local news. So far, nothing noteworthy has been shown.
¡°Good morning, Kyouya-sama.¡± Said the girl in a baggy white shirt that entered the room.
¡°Good morning, Reika.¡± I sensed her coming earlier so I wasn¡¯t surprised by her sudden appearance.
She has short hair and wore a pair of thick-framed glasses. She¡¯s a bit lacking in the chest department but her beauty more than makes up for it. Not that she cares¡
¡°Distant Destiny is great. You should play it too, Kyouya-sama.¡± She said while sitting beside me.
She¡¯s what you call a gamer, a hardcore one at that. Only a few things pique her interest outside games, one of them being me.
¡°I¡¯ll try it once I return from work.¡±
¡°It¡¯s a promise ok?¡±This tale has been unlawfully lifted without the author''s consent. Report any appearances on Amazon.
¡°Ara ara, is that a little spider I see trying to corrupt Kyouya-sama with games?¡± Theepitome of Japanese beauty said with amusement.
¡°I told you not to call me that!¡±
She ignored Reika¡¯s glare and gave me a smile. ¡°Kyouya-sama, breakfast is ready.¡±
¡°Don¡¯t ignore me you stupid crow!¡±
Knowing that she was about to rant, I told her: ¡°Be quiet, you might wake up Mitsuha.¡±
¡°B- but¡¡±
¡°I don¡¯t want to hear excuses. Be quiet or I¡¯ll kick you out.¡±
¡°Not fair¡¡± Her shoulders slumped down.
I turned back to Kuroha. ¡°And stop teasing her every time you see her.¡±
¡°I apologize, Kyou-¡±
¡°I mean it. Start one more fight and I¡¯ll kick you out, understand?¡±
¡°I- It won¡¯t happen again, Kyouya-sama. I promise.¡±
¡°Hehehe, where did that stupid arrogance of yours go?¡±
¡°Reika¡± I gave her a glare.
She looked away while whistling.
¡°Haaaa, please act your age¡¡± Both of you are way too old to be quarreling like little kids. Like seriously, aren¡¯t you two supposed to be veteran warriors?
None of them spoke as we went to the dining hall and ate. But I could feel them glancing at me.
Heaving a sigh, I said: ¡°Look, I¡¯m not angry. I just get irritated whenever I see you two fight. We¡¯ve seen too much conflict already. Don¡¯t make us see more in our own home.¡±
¡°I don¡¯t really reject the idea of befriending that stupid crow.¡±
Then stop calling her that¡
¡°But it¡¯s impossible if she keeps making fun of me every time we meet. How can I accept someone who obviously doesn¡¯t want my company?¡±
She has a point. ¡°Anything you want to say about that, Kuroha?¡±
¡°I admit; I do not like her.¡±
¡°See that, Kyouya-sama? I told you she hates me-¡±
¡°Don¡¯t act as if you don¡¯t feel the same.¡±
¡°With all that mocking, of course I¡¯d hate you.¡±
¡°Is that truly the only reason? Is it not because you hate the idea of sharing the man you love? Is it not because you want Kyouya-sama for yourself?¡±
I think the sword of guilt just pierced through my heart.
¡°I don¡¯t know about you, but that¡¯s my reason. I hate smelling another girl on the one I love. It pains me whenever he does it with you. I know it was Kyouya-sama who wanted this so I didn¡¯t voice my opinion, but I still can¡¯t accept it.¡±
Ah, another sword pierced my heart, hahaha.
¡°Still, I¡¯m nothing more than a familiar. It¡¯s my duty to follow Kyouya-sama¡¯s wishes. I can only tease my rival a bit to relieve some stress.¡±
¡°S- Sorry, I didn¡¯t know you felt that way.¡±
¡°This is why I didn¡¯t want to talk about it. I didn¡¯t want you to feel guilty over something that I should¡¯ve solved myself.¡±
She turned to Reika after a moment of silence. ¡°All that said. I don¡¯t truly hate you, Reika. I¡¯d probably still tease you a bit, but I think we can become friends.¡±
¡°You do know it¡¯s the teasing I hate right?¡±
¡°Fu fu fu, you just have to endure until I can take it off my system completely.¡±
¡°Fine¡ I think I can handle it knowing it¡¯s just a joke.¡±
¡°How understanding, as expected of our little spider.¡±
¡°Don¡¯t call me that! And I¡¯m not yours!¡±
¡°Oops, my tongue slipped. I¡¯m sorry, Reika-chan.¡±
¡°I don¡¯t like that nickname either!¡±
¡°Then what should I call you?¡±
¡°Reika, just Reika.¡±
¡°Hmm, I¡¯ll call you that if you stop calling me stupid crow.¡±
¡°Heeeh, I thought that nickname didn¡¯t bother you.¡±
¡°Itdoes, you¡¯re only alive right now because you¡¯re Kyouya-sama¡¯s familiar.¡±
¡°It would be a waste not calling you stupid crow if I had that kind of immunity.¡±
¡°You¡¯re free to do as you wish, little spider-chan.¡±
¡°Y- You¡ fine, fine, you win, Kuroha-san, so don¡¯t mention that stupid nickname ever again.¡±
¡°I hereby relieve you of your nickname, Reika-san.¡±
Reika narrowed her eyes. ¡°Did you have to make it sound formal?¡±
¡°Ara ara, I thought you would like it that way.¡±
¡°I¡¯m a gamer, not some medieval knight with an annoying title.¡±
For once, the two laughed without bashing each other. It¡¯s nice to see them talk like friends, but it¡¯s sad to know that I was the reason for their conflict¡
And here I thought I¡¯m good at reading my familiars-
A bundle of joy tackled me with full force. ¡°Good morning, Kyouya-sama!¡±
Unlike us, she has a silver hair with fox-like ears. Her eyes were scarlet red and her canines were much longer than normal. Lastly, nine fluffy tails sprouts from her lower back.
Ah, she woke up... ¡°Good morning, Mitsuha.¡±
She wore a bright smile as she sat on my lap.
¡°Aren¡¯t you going to react to that, Kuroha-san?¡±
¡°Mitsuha-chan, do you want pancakes later?¡±
¡°I do!¡± Mitsuha beamed at Kuroha.
¡°Brainwashing huh? As expected of a righteous tengu.¡±
¡°Why thank you¡±
¡°Errr¡ I wasn''t praising you.¡±
¡°Fu fu fu, I know.¡±
¡°Whatever¡ anyway¡ thank you for the food.¡±
¡°My pleasure¡± Kuroha said with a sincere smile.
Ah, don¡¯t mind me. I¡¯m just a tree contemplating about my past actions.

NOTICE!
|
|
The world has finally surpassed the allowed number of population. From now on, excess monsters from other worlds will be summoned to this world to reduce the current population. The event will last until only a thousand remains. Work hard and be one of those survivors.
|
With a panel appearing out of nowhere, I immediately raised my guard. The others followed, but it seems they reacted to something only they could see.
As I read the contents of the panel, a gasp escaped my lips. ¡°T- This can¡¯t be!¡±
¡°Whether it¡¯s true or not, we better prepare while we can.¡± Kuroha stated.
¡°Right¡± I gave a curt nod. ¡°Kuroha, Reika, prepare for combat. Mitsuha, come with me.¡±
Seeing them nod in agreement, I ran to my room, the eight-year-old kitsune following closely. I grabbed the sword I sealed three years ago and placed a pouch filled with talismans on my belt.
I took three more pouches and gave them to Mitsuha who was still confused. Despite not knowing the situation, she kept quiet, patiently waiting for my order.
I crouched and looked her in the eye. ¡°Mitsuha, another war might break out. Until we have a full grasp of the situation, I want you to do everything I say even if you dislike it.¡±
She was hesitant at first, but she shook it away and said: ¡°I will¡±
¡°Good¡± I smiled as I patted her head. ¡°I¡¯m sure everything will go well if you¡¯re this obedient.¡±
A new panel popped out as I spoke.
|
REJOICE!
|
|
To make things more exciting, a game-like system will be implemented to help everyone survive the incoming apocalypse. Make use of it to get stronger and last longer. If you don¡¯t know anything about games, you better find someone who does before the fun starts.
Remaining Time Before The Apocalypse: 30:00
|
¡°K- Kyouya-sama¡± Mitsuha called my name with a hint of fear.
She couldn¡¯t read yet so she didn¡¯t know what was written.
I patted her head again. ¡°Don¡¯t worry. I¡¯m sure we¡¯ll survive this. Let¡¯s do our best, Mitsuha.¡±
Seeing her regain confidence, I stood up and strode to the door. ¡°Now, it¡¯s time to make use of Reika¡¯s vast knowledge in games.¡±
Prologue Part 2 - Times Up!
First, I summoned my status window by calling it out loud. After memorizing how it looks, I summoned it through visualization; I imagined it appearing in front of me.

¡°What¡¯s next?¡± I asked the gaming expert.
¡°Based on the status window, we should get an MMORPG-system. If that¡¯s the case, we¡¯ll be using the status window and party window most of the time. Try calling out the latter.¡±
¡°¡°Party Window¡±¡± Kuroha, Mitsuha, and I said.

Umm¡ what¡¯s with the name?
¡°With that, the experience we gain from killing monsters will be distributed to us equally. That means we can get stronger at the same pace. As the leader, I can also change the experience distribution, but I won¡¯t be changing it until we add more members to the party.¡±
Is no one going to comment on the party name?
¡°I¡¯m sure we can survive by ourselves. Why do we need to add more to our group?¡± Kuroha asked.
¡°You see, with a weaker member, we could get more from killing monsters. If I fill the other four slots with level 1s, our leveling speed would be much faster. Well, if Kyouya-sama doesn¡¯t like using others, we can leave the party as is.¡±
Ah, forget it... ¡°No, we¡¯ll go with your plan. To be part of the last one thousand, we have to stay as one of the strongest survivors. We have to take every opportunity to become stronger.¡±
¡°I concur¡± Kuroha added.
¡°Ok, with that out of the way, let¡¯s discuss our first move. I suggest killing as fast as we can the moment the event starts.¡±
¡°And why is that?¡±
¡°If it¡¯s really like an MMORPG game, we might get achievements like getting the first kill or something along the line. Such achievements are one of a kind and might give a permanent boost in our power. That would push us to the top. Furthermore, the other survivors might think of us as their saviors, giving us the luxury of choosing party members.¡±
¡°Valid point, what do you think?¡± I turned to Kuroha.
¡°I¡¯m fine with it.¡±
And for courtesy, I also asked: ¡°Mitsuha?¡±
She gave a nod of agreement.
¡°That settles it. We¡¯ll hunt down monsters as fast as we can.¡±
I pulled out three talismans and gave one to Kuroha and Reika. ¡°We¡¯ll have to spread out to kill more enemies so use that.¡±
¡°A communication ward, certainly brings back memories.¡± Kuroha said.
¡°What about me, Kyouya-sama?¡± Mitsuha asked.
¡°You can¡¯t hunt alone so you¡¯ll be staying with me.¡±
She lightened up upon hearing that.
Checking the time, I said: ¡°Only three minutes left, let¡¯s wait in the hallway.¡±
As we strode to the door, Kuroha and Reika entered their spirit form; Mitsuha was already in her spirit form so she just followed quietly.
Black feathery wings burst out of Kuroha¡¯s back, going through the holes she made on her purple kimono beforehand. As her eyes turned golden, a naginata with crimson blade appeared on her hands.
Overall, she still looked like a human. It was much different for Reika.
Aside from the black exoskeleton covering her cheeks, Reika¡¯s face remained the same. Her body, on the other hand, went a major change. Exoskeleton covered her body and eight spider legs came out from her back. Red tribal marking appeared on her body as a spider sack sprouted from her lower back.
Her shadow expanded in a short while and she entered it like it was a pool. With only her head poking out, she said: ¡°I¡¯ll go to the twenty-third floor once everything starts.¡±
¡°I¡¯ll hunt on the twenty-fifth. Kyouya-sama and Mitsuha-chan can hunt here.¡± Her hand blurred and a square piece of the ceiling fell to the floor, exactly a pinch away from Reika¡¯s head.
¡°Hey! That almost hit me!¡± Reika scowled.
¡°Oops, my hand slipped, sorry.¡± Kuroha spoke with her ever-so-bright expression.
¡°This isn¡¯t the time for jokes, you two.¡±
¡°She started it.¡± Reika complained.
¡°I lost control of myself. I¡¯m sorry, Kyouya-sama. And forgive me, Reika-san.¡±
¡°Hmmp!¡±
Entering the last ten seconds, I drew the katana on my waist. My eyes turned red as immense power surged through every fiber of my body.
¡®It has been a while, o young sword demon.¡¯
I ignored the old voice in my head.
¡°This is my only order -do not die.¡±
¡°¡°As you wish, Kyouya-sama.¡±¡±
|
TIME¡¯S UP!
|
|
Let¡¯s get this party started!
|
A humanoid lizard appeared at the same time as the panel.
It stood at around six to seven feet. Green metallic scales covered its body aside from its chest and the underside of its tapering tail. Its head was elongated with jet black horns sprouting from its scalp, and a pair of wings large enough to cover its body was attached to its back.
There was also a panel floating above its head.
In less than a second, I leaped to the monster and sliced off its head.
|
ACHIEVEMENT!
|
|
You are the first to kill a monster with a sword.
Reward(s):
Legendary Title: Sword Emperor
Supreme Skill: Grand Sword Aura
|
I glanced at the panel for a second before jumping to the monster sending me its bloodlust.
It took me a split second to identify the new enemy as the same type of monster as the one I killed. But this time, I sliced open its chest and yelled ¡°Now!¡±
I jumped to the side as a beam of flames shot towards the monster, incinerating its innards.
I gave Mitsuha a nod before grabbing her and searching for more targets.
**(Reika¡¯s POV ¨C 3rd Person)**
Swimming in shadows, Reika approached adragonewt in a flash.
When she was close enough, four of her spider legs shot to the monster¡¯s chest. She let her shadows crawl over her limbs and into the monster¡¯sbody before expanding into spikes.
|
ACHIEVEMENT!
|
|
You are the first to kill a monster with shadows.
Reward(s):
Legendary Title: Shadow Empress
Supreme Skill: Greater Umbrakinesis
|
¡°Hehe¡± A chuckle escaped her lips as she pulled her legs back into the shadows.
She tested out her new ability by sending shadows out of her pool. Seeing it work, she blocked all source of light, her smile widening as the hallway became her playground.
She could even expand it and change its properties without spending any spiritual energy. After a few experiments, not even sound could escape her world, a world of pure darkness.
**(Kuroha¡¯s POV ¨C 3rd Person)**
|
ACHIEVEMENT!
|
|
You are the first to kill a monster with a spear
Reward(s):
Legendary Title: Spear Empress
Supreme Skill: Grand Spear Aura
|
Kuroha smiled brightly; being the first has quite a nice ring to it.
In a good mood, she raised the dead body on her spear and slammed it onto the incoming monster. She sent her left hand to the monster¡¯s head shortly and fired an air bomb at point blank range.
The monster¡¯s head exploded, sending its blood all over the place. None of it reached Kuroha since there was a thick layer of wind covering her body.
|
ACHIEVEMENT!
|
|
You are one of the first three to kill a monster with wind
Reward(s):
Supreme Skill: Greater Aerokinesis
|
Her smile stiffened after reading the panel. She, the Terror of the Skies, one of the strongest spirits in the world, didn¡¯t get first place with her main element?
A bit irritated, she placed a highly concentrated air at the tip of her spear. She shot it at the other end of the hallway as she swung her weapon.
Due to the force behind her swing, the air took a crescent shape and cut everything in its path. By the time it hit the wall, it exploded, sending a strong gust of wind back to Kuroha.
Seeing the amount of destruction she could create, the monsters creeping closer to her stopped in their tracks. Their numbers wouldn¡¯t do anything to the monstrosity in human skin.
Unfortunately, it was too late to run.
The smiling reaper has already set her sights on them.
¡°Ara ara, aren¡¯t you going to attack?¡±
