    The crystal had been travelling in the dark emptiness for aeons, dormant and waiting in the manaless void of space. It was sent from a barren and dead world, used and devoured by its creators, they called themselves The Masters and were now waiting in hibernation for the crystal to arrive.


    The masters had found the next target among the stars, a small world teaming with life and dense with mana perfect for the next cycle. In the red crystal was a dormant soul, enslaved by the masters, ripped off all memories and will, then reshaped to manipulate mana and given magic powers of destruction, change and creation that they possessed.


    The high creator, the most powerful of the Masters, gave the soul its main purpose, to prepare the new world and build the gateway for the masters.     On the new world where the red crystal was travelling to, there was a race of sentient beings called humans and they called their world Thea. This is the story of one human would ruin everything for the masters, keeping them in hibernation waiting for a gateway to be built.


    On Thea, there lived a king, who had two twin sons. He didn''t know which of them that was born first. This unfortunate situation had come to be after the queen died shortly after a difficult birth and when the king asked the old senile midwife, she couldn''t remember who was born first.


    When the king got old and could feel that his life was at an end, he still had not decided who was to be the heir to his throne. he told his sons the strongest of the two, should be his heir.     The first brother, rose a mountain from the depths the earth, the highest on the planet. he told his father that he had made a burial chamber at the summit for him where he could rest forever. This unimportant feat ended up being what most impressed the king.


    The other son told his father that he would try to slow the orbit of the moon. The son tried with all his power. But no one couldn''t see any difference in the moon''s speed so he lost to his brother.


    Although you couldn''t see any noticeable change in the moon¡¯s speed, it was changed enough, so that in hundreds of years, on the day that the red crystal was predicted by the Masters to arrive, the crystal was on a collision course with the moon.
