《Children of the Sun》 PROLOGUE Abiga?l Chase, alias Abi, finally succeeded. After so many hardships and sacrifices, she was finally able to step into the causality realm. She was overjoyed as she realised that no one could stop her now. The causality realm was a strange place which stored all the information about the multiverse. Everything since the beginning of time till the end of time was visible there. Of course, Abi couldn¡¯t see everything as the information was encoded. Only beings with powerful magics had the right to enter this place. Although some things were hidden from her it didn¡¯t matter. What she was looking for was not hidden. This realm was a pure white space stretching as far as the eyes could see. It was not just an illusion though. In the causality realm, there was no concept of space and time. All that one could see was just the result of one¡¯s consciousness which tried to interpret the information available. If one wanted to find something specific, one had to search for it. Abi focused her mind on specific memories. She tried to gather everything she knew about Earth, her home planet. However, she remembered too few things. After all, even if technology was well developed in 2016 when she left the planet, few things were known about the universe. Even worse, she was not very knowledgeable about astronomy. All she knew was that Earth was the third planet of its solar system and the name and characteristics of the other planets of the system. Abi had been an ordinary woman back on Earth. She recalled the day she had been transported to another world. It was a Monday, a beautiful day, the sun was shining in the cloudless sky of the north of France. She had freshly obtained her PhD in particle physics not long ago and was moving in France for her new job. Working at the European Council for Nuclear Research had always been her dream. Although a researcher didn¡¯t gain much money it was still a dream job for physicist. She had been in high spirit that morning as she was driving towards the CERN. She had still been on the road when it occurred suddenly. A dazzling light enveloped her body before transporting her in a totally different world. Hell had begun that day, years of living hell. Clenching her fists, she muttered under her breath with a voice full resolve. ¡°I will find a way home no matter what. And I will come back with help to deal with you all. What you did to me in the past, I will repay you a thousand-fold.¡± The white space flickered a moment before bookshelves appeared out of nowhere. The book titles were formed according to the result of Abi¡¯s search. Of course, the bookshelves didn¡¯t really exist nor did the books. They were just a projection of Abi¡¯s mind, a mean for her consciousness to interpret information. After seeing the books, she shivered. There were too many of them! The bookshelves extended nearly to infinity. She first thought that finding the right book would take forever before she remembered the characteristics of the causality realm. Time didn¡¯t exist here. She could pass years in this place without a single second passing in the real world. After that realisation, Abi strengthened her resolve and read book title after book title. She had so few memories of Earth that countless planets were compatible with her memories. They all resembled Earth, a blue planet covered with oceans, the third planet of its solar system were lifeforms looking like humans and animals she knew were living. Despite such specific characteristics, there were too many planets like Earth and Abi wasn¡¯t astonished about that fact. The multiverse was too vast and billions upon billions of habitable worlds existed in it. And trillions would exist in the future. However, that didn¡¯t discourage her though as she continued her search, book after book. She was so focused on her task that she didn¡¯t noticed strange mana fluctuations traveling the causality realm. Somewhere, although space didn¡¯t exist, a strange being materialized. I didn¡¯t have a precise shape, just a cloud of white mist whose interior was strewn with countless tiny red electric discharges. The cloud was obviously intelligent as it searched for the source of an anomaly within the realm. Soon, it found what it was searching. The troublemaker was a creature it had never seen here before and that made the mist churn with astonishment. Nothing really astonishing happened normally in this place. The causality ream was just like an enormous library only accessible by a handful of people in the entire multiverse. Those people were all legendary beings whose spiritual development had already surpassed the realm of mortals. The troublemaker was not one of those beings. The mist cloud wondered how the creature had arrived at this place. Pondering a little, and not finding a satisfying answer, the mist cloud decided to move. The troublemaker must be destroyed. Abi was not aware of the impending disaster. She continued to browse through the bookshelves in search of her homeland. At one point, she eventually felt something but it was already too late. A bubble of white mist was surrounding her, blocking all means of retreat. A single glance convinced her that the mist was not friendly. It was emitting a domineering aura, full of hostility. She wanted to withdraw immediately but realised that she couldn¡¯t go back to the material world. It was as if something was forcing her to remain in the causality realm. No need to be a genius to realise who or what it was. The mist cloud was already changing its shape and its colour. It was becoming blacker and blacker. In the meantime, the electric discharges inside of it were becoming bigger and bigger. Soon, she found an enormous black could towering above her head while shooting big red lightning bolts. If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. Abi realised right away that she was in big trouble. She didn¡¯t need to know what that black cloud was to conclude that she was at a disadvantage. The causality realm was not the material world! None of her most powerful magic spells worked there. Only few special abilities could still be used. Suddenly, the cloud shot a thick lightning bolt straight at her head. Lightning bolt was one of the quickest attack possible which would arrive at the target in the blink of an eye. Having no time to mount a solid defence, Abi sent mana towards her eyes which made them shine with golden radiance. A spherical transparent barrier materialized all around her. When the lightning reached the barrier, the latter cracked before shattering into pieces. A defeating sound spread in space mixed with Abi¡¯s roar of agony. Although her barrier had worked, the lightning bolt had not been totally stopped as a part of it had reached her. It had caused a terrifying pain. It was as if her consciousness was being torn apart, being erased out of existence. She shivered in fear when she realized that she couldn¡¯t take another attack like that or she would definitely die! Acting decisively, Abi sent mana into her eyes again which made the causality realm suddenly shuddered. Soon, a gigantic mountain appeared out of nowhere surrounding her completely. It was made by the most resistant material she could imagine. Afterward, she mobilised all her remaining mana, an insane amount of mana in fact, to perform a spell. The entire realm shuddered once more as if in fear or in rage. All her remaining mana headed towards her eyes, the sources of the spell. They became to glow like two golden suns as they were shining too brightly. If one looked closely, one would see that her eyes were not normal at all. The irises were golden in colour and smaller than in normal eyes. Numerous extensions existed beginning from the iris outer perimeter and extending outward. When looking into her eyes, one could see the resemblance with the sun. The iris was like the sun whereas the extensions were like the solar corona. Her spell didn¡¯t remain unnoticed. Sensing that something strange going on, the mist cloud formed numerous lightning bolts which it sent slamming into the mountain. The latter trembled violently as a good part of it volatilised. It couldn¡¯t obviously last for very long. Inside the mountain, Abi was struggling with the only spell which could save her life. Even if common magic was not usable in the causality realm, some abilities could still be used. There were special abilities like Abi¡¯s eyes. Their powers were ingrained into her spirit and were usable in any circumstance. She had long wondered the origin of those eyes and after several years, she had concluded that it was a racial ability. She had called them [Divine Eyes]. Her eyes were truly mysterious and their ability ¡ monstrous. They could see karma itself and, if one was strong enough, allow one to alter karma. What was karma if not the whole of the natural laws of the multiverse? Those who could alter karma directly were above gods and devils. Within the entire multiverse, this kind of magic was unrivalled. Why was that humans from Earth possessed such a terrifying racial ability? No one knew, not even Abi. In the beginning, she had used her power without restraint and without caring for the consequences. After all, she was all alone far away from home. She had done everything possible to survive while searching for a way to return to Earth. Over the years, powerful beings discovered the source of her power which prompted them to seek to end her life. Once she was killed, they would search for Earth location and exterminate all humanity. They didn¡¯t want an entire race with such ability to spread in the multiverse. Thunders and red lightnings tore the sky. They were tribulation lightnings, the weapon the heavens used to punish those against its will. Abi had accessed the causality realm without authorization and would be punished for that. Thick bolts of lightning descended from the sky before striking the mountain. It trembled and cracks appeared everywhere. While Abi was incanting the spell to alter karma, more and more lightnings were striking the mountain which began to show signs of weakness. The mountain was the most powerful barrier Abi could imagine. Normally, it should give her sufficient time to flee but tribulation lightnings were not common magics. She performed the incantation as fast as she could while chaotic thoughts ran through her mind. ¡°What the hell!? I haven¡¯t even found the location of Earth yet. I can¡¯t believe everything I¡¯ve done was for naught.¡± The mountain was already on the verge of crumbling as numerous cracks appeared on its sides. She was using her remaining power to cast a spell called [Karma Permutation]. The name was mysterious and its effect ¡ terrifying. This spell exchanged the karma between the caster and a target. As the karma was tied to the physical body, the spell made 2 persons exchange their physical bodies. Normally, Abi needed a trigger, something from the target to make the spell work. A strand of hair or a drop of blood was sufficient as trigger. Unfortunately, she was in the causality realm with only her mind at her disposal. Without trigger, the spell would work randomly. She had no means to predict the outcome. If she had the choice, she would never attempt such a stupid move. She didn¡¯t want to die even if dying had little consequence. Indeed, after death, someone would just reincarnate and obtain a new body. The true problem was that she would lose all her memories which she wanted to avoid. She had to remain herself, with all her memories. She had to return to Earth and to tell the whole world of the dangers lurking in the void of space. She wanted revenge, revenge against her enemies, revenge against the people who had chased her across the multiverse and had made her life a living hell. Above all, she must not die, for the sake of all humanity, she must survive and warn everybody. [Karma Permutation] activated the exact moment the mountain collapsed. A gigantic web of lightning rushed through the debris straight to Abi. Before the lightning destroyed her though, her body flickered and disappeared. She was unexpectedly replaced by someone else who didn¡¯t have any indication about what was going on. The new person didn¡¯t have time to do anything before the tribulation lightnings reduced her into dust. Chapter 1 : A new world Abiga?l opened her eyes, feeling slightly dizzy. She looked around and discovered that she was lying on a bed inside a large room. The room was not only large but also very luxurious, like a princess room or something of the sort. The light coming across the windows showed that in the beginning of the morning. She furrowed her eyebrows while trying to remember why she was there. After several seconds, she suddenly recalled everything. She recalled how she had narrowly escaped a calamity because of a trip in the causality realm. She sighed and thought that she had been too careless. She had thought that she could roam through the causality realm without restraint but that was obviously just her wishful thinking. There was something guarding this place, something terrifyingly strong. ¡°Well, I am alive. That¡¯s all that matter. Thanks to you, dear eyes of mine. You have saved me again. Let¡¯s check this body¡¯s condition first.¡± She muttered inwardly while standing up. Indeed, it was not the first time she had used [Karma Permutation]. She had used it at critical moments those past years. The moment she was cornered without any mean of escape and on the verge of dying, she would use it. Her enemies could only curse in frustration as their prey disappeared in front of them. As she took a step forward, Abi suddenly felt slightly unbalanced. Puzzled, she looked down and discovered the problem. Her breasts were too heavy, they were two big flesh mounds. ¡°Oh! This body is really gifted. If I had such a big chest back on Earth, all the men would surely be at my feet.¡± She thought while examining her new body. She didn¡¯t have an ounce of guilt knowing that she had just stolen someone else body. The world was dangerous after all, anyone could die at any moment. Anyway, the dead would just enter the reincarnation cycle and live again afterward. Abi didn¡¯t consider that stealing a body was a big deal. She didn¡¯t want to die and lose all her precious memories after reincarnation. With a finger snap, she summoned a [Water Mirror]. Water elements within the room began to condense and formed a large mirror in front of her. She undressed swiftly and stood naked in front of the mirror. When the latter finished forming, Abi gaped in shock. She was shocked as her body was that of a female human. What was even more shocking was that she was otherworldly beautiful, breathtaking, gorgeous! She even concluded that English dictionary didn¡¯t possess the right word to describe her beauty. ¡°Oh my god! What kind of beauty is this? I¡¯m like a goddess from a fantasy movie! My features are too perfect!¡± She couldn¡¯t help but praise herself. Even if beauty had little usefulness during a life and death battle, it was still good to be beautiful. Her chance was very good this time. Not only had she transferred to a humanoid body which resembled the human race, she had even obtained a perfect specimen. Even if it couldn¡¯t kill directly, beauty was still useful in good hands. No matter what species one belonged to, one would always love beautiful things. That was a universal truth in the entire multiverse. What was loved was precious and what was precious was worth fighting for. Abi grinned while looking at her perfect breasts, perfect hips and curves, flawless face and long golden coloured hair. She was like a teenage girl who had obtained new clothes during summer sales. While she was pleased with herself, memories began to resurface within her mind. The former owner of her body was also called Abiga?l which was an incredible coincidence. She concluded that it was the effect of [Karma Permutation] which had selected someone with the same name. Abiga?l was born within the Lightning clan, a major clan of the Spirit Mountain Kingdom. The clan head had three children, two sons and Abi, the only daughter. The Spirit Mountain Kingdom was located in a gigantic continent existing at the surface of Alta?a, the name of the world Abi was living in. Humans, Abi decided to call her species human for convenience, only populated the northern continent which stretched over dozens of thousands of kilometers. There were many countries in the northern continent but the former Abi had not been very knowledgeable about them. All she knew was that the Spirit Mountain Kingdom was in the center of the northern continent. Despite being a girl from a powerful clan, she hadn¡¯t inherited the talents of her bloodline. Her magic talent was very poor, which only destined her for an arranged marriage within another noble clan. All her previous education was just trainings to be a good wife. She had never been outside the royal capital before and knew nearly nothing about the outside world. After checking her cultivation level, Abi became a little disappointed. Her new body was weaker than she had imagined. At 16 years old, she was only level 3, a mediocre result. Sighing, she could only start cultivation from the beginning. If only she had gotten a body with higher cultivation level. Now, she had to start from scratch. Cultivation level represented the depth of a mage¡¯s mana pool. The more mana a mage possessed the more powerful spell he or she was able to use. Having 3 in cultivation level was not very impressive as people of her generation had already surpassed Abi. Her talent was just too poor. The former Abi had been betrothed to the third royal prince several years ago. They had gotten on well in the beginning but, over the years, the prince began to dislike her because of her poor talent and weak personality. No matter how beautiful she was, her worth was still linked to her strength. Her talent was at the level of a commoner, not a noble. The prince was now against the marriage agreement and didn¡¯t hide it. Because of that, her future was uncertain. If she didn¡¯t marry the prince, what could she do? Her status was too high to imagine a marriage in a minor noble clan and the major noble clans were not interested in her. No clan wanted to contaminate their bloodline with a talentless mage if they had the choice. Fortunately, her father loved her dearly. He hadn¡¯t hesitated to use underhanded methods to get her a spot in the Royal Academy of Magic, the best magic school in the whole kingdom. Although, only geniuses were worthy of the Royal Academy of Magic, nothing was certain when money was involved. Abi had unexpectedly been accepted there thanks to a generous anonymous donation. She was only level 3 whereas her fellow classmates were, at least, level 7. Thus, everyone in class looked down on her. She was a black sheep mocked everyday by everyone. However, few would dare to harm Abi physically. She was after all the young mistress of one of the major noble clans. Her status was no joke. Anyone daring to harm her without a good justification would face the wrath of Lightning clan.A case of content theft: this narrative is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation. With her current strength, Abi was too weak to do anything important. Her first goal was to become stronger as quickly as possible. There was a good new though, she was not in mortal danger anymore. Before stepping into the causality realm, she had been hunted continuously so that the shadow of death had never been very far. It could be said that her trip in the causality realm had been a good fortune. As she had performed [Karma Permutation] randomly, her pursuers had no mean to know her whereabouts. It was as if she had disappeared without a trace. It would take a long time before they discovered her trace she thought. As long as she didn¡¯t publicize her racial ability, she would not be discovered. Having checked her physics, Abi still had to check her soul. She sat cross-legged in the middle of the bedroom, controlled her breathing and tried to absorb the ether all around her. It didn¡¯t take her very long to succeed. The ether was a generic term representing a primordial fluid present everywhere in the multiverse. It was a mix of four other fluids called elements: fire, water, earth and wind. The ether was being attract by her body before being absorbed. Soon, it was refined and transformed into mana which was the substance constituting the etheric body, also called energetic body or soul. Mana was life itself, the building block of the soul. All living things possessed mana. If all mana inside the body disappear, one would die. Fortunately, ether was everywhere as it was the basic component of all creation. As Abi was building mana, she noticed that the process was very slow. No matter how hard she tried, the ether was absorbed at a very slow rate which made her frown immediately. Something was not right. No wonder her cultivation level was so low, it was impossible to cultivate rapidly with such conditions. As she was pondering, some memories began to appear within her mind. They showed how Abiga?l¡¯s father had tried to cure her disease in the past as he believed it was a disease. His beloved daughter was from the Lightning clan! How could she possess such an ordinary talent. Powerful mages tended to give birth to powerful children mage. The Lightning clan, having existed for thousands of years, should always produce geniuses. However, no physician brought by her father had ever find a cure to Abi¡¯s disease. They even said that there was no disease at all. It was her natural talent which was too low, that was all. Abi groaned while thinking. ¡°It could have been a bad luck if I didn¡¯t have the [Divine Eyes]. My cultivation speed would be disastrous.¡± She was not too worried in fact, with the help of her eyes, she could see through all hidden things. Although her cultivation level was too low to alter karma, she had still enough mana to use her eyes in passive mode. She could not alter her body condition, but she still had the possibility to discover why her talent was so bad. Once activated, her [Divine eyes] entirely changed her vision of the world. Instead of the dull normal vision, she began to see the world with new light at 360 degrees in all direction. Everything became translucent and seemed to glow with gentle lights. The air was not transparent anymore but populated with strange light particles. The particles were different shades of 4 basic colours: red, blue, yellow and green. Abi recognized the element particles. The fire element particles were red, the water element particles were blue, the earth element particles were yellow and the green particles represented the wind element. Those particles were not hovering in mid-air. On the contrary, they were moving incessantly. The elements formed something like an ocean, the ether, and like in all ocean, it was home of ocean currents. Abi noticed three main currents, one from east to west, another one from north to south and the last from the sky towards the ground. Apart from those currents, there existed numerous chaotic whirlpools here and there as well as turbulences. Extending her gaze forward, her vision pierced the wall of her apartment making the exterior visible. She couldn¡¯t help but smile as the scenery was very beautiful. It was as if the world had become a paradise with multicoloured light shining everywhere. The sun, the clouds and mountains could be seen in all their splendour. Abi enjoyed the view for some time before shifting her gaze on her own body. Her physical body was entirely translucent like a ball of shining glass. However, she was not interested in her physical body but in her etheric one. The etheric body, also called soul or energetic body, was an ether construct impregnating the physical body and extending outside of it. It was formed with several layers imbricated the one into the other in the manner of Russian dolls. The outermost layer could extend hundreds of meters from the physical body. What interested Abi the most were the first few layers, where chakras and meridians were located. If one wanted to do magic, one had to pay extreme attention to the first layers of the soul. The first thing to check was the meridians at which she looked at closely. They looked like blood vessels but, instead of conducting blood, they conducted mana. She noticed that her meridians were quite dense, largely denser than those of normal mages. It was a good new but it didn¡¯t explain why her talent was so poor. It should be the other way around. A problem existed somewhere and she had to find it. Continuing with her inspection, she noticed something else. Some meridians were not activated, no mana flowed inside of them which was rather puzzling. Pondering a moment, she decided to check a specific set of chakras situated along the spine. There were seven of those chakras which was a similar organisation to the human from Earth. A chakra had a role of absorbing and excreting ether. It was a spinning vortex of energy, a gate the ether had to cross to enter or to exit the body. Those 7 primordial chakras along the spine were the most important of all chakras. Each of them were placed at a critical location along the principal energetic conduit of the body, the central canal. The latter had the form of a caduceus, like two serpents coiled one around each other. The central canal, aided by the primordial chakras, aspired the ether from the top and the bottom ends before distributing them inside the soul via the meridians. This complex system was perfectly designed like everything the nature made. However, from time to time, what was perfectly designed didn¡¯t always work properly. In Abi¡¯s case, she discovered something annoying. ¡°How troublesome. They are completely desynchronized. It¡¯s miracle this girl could cultivate at all.¡± She thought about it while shaking her head. Normally, the primordial chakras worked synchronously. They absorbed or excreted ether at the same time. Even a slight desynchronization could be harmful to the soul. Once desynchronized, some chakra would aspire ether while others would reject ether which meant that a part of the absorbed ether would be immediately rejected without being used. It caused something like a mana asphyxia, depriving the soul of vital energy. Moreover, a part of the bad mana which should be rejected outside the body would remain inside of it causing mana poisoning. If she was a normal mage, Abi would surely have died long ago. Fortunately, she came from a clan of mage with hundreds of years of magic lineage. The souls of the Lightning clan members were naturally strong and resistant. Nonetheless, this disease impeded her cultivation greatly. Chapter 2 : Breakthrough Abi frowned as chakra desynchronization was a disease normally difficult to detect but easy to fix. One just needed to stop the operation of the chakras involved before restarting them at the same time. It was easy in theory but only in theory. If it involved a minor chakra, stopping it wouldn¡¯t cause too much harm to the soul but what about a primordial chakra? They were named ¡°primordial¡± not just for show. Their functioning was critical to the body¡¯s survival. It was like the heart, if it stopped functioning, one would undoubtedly die which explained why Abi was a little reticent right now. She was pondering, weighing the benefices and the risks. After a long time, she finally decided to do it. After all, she wouldn¡¯t die this easily and the risks of failure were not so great. Always seated cross-legged on the ground, Abi quickly performed a set of hand seals. The effects on the primordial chakras were immediate. Chakra were not just braindead organs working like robot. On the contrary, they possessed a kind of intelligence which allow the mage to program them to do specific tasks. When making hand seals, Abi was creating a closed mana circuit within her soul which connected the two parts of her meridian system, one part for each side of the body. The mana inside the closed circuit could be manipulated perform a spell thanks to the chakras. Right now, though, Abi didn¡¯t want to cast a spell but just program the chakras so that they would disactivate and reactivate at the same time. Once the set of hand seals were finished, Abi activated the program with a thought. All her primordial chakras stopped functioning at the same time. She suddenly sensed an excruciating pain. It was not a physical pain but something more terrifying. Her soul itself was trembling. The pain was so strong that were it not for the fact that she wanted to live this strongly, she would have already killed herself. If she could she would have emitted a screeching shriek but she was entirely paralyzed and then couldn¡¯t talk. She turned pale as if all her blood had completely drained. Soon after, violent convulsions ran through her and she dropped on the ground before squirming like a fish out of water. It didn¡¯t take long before she fainted. When she woke up, several hours had already passed. Groaning, she straightened up while shaking her head as if to chase a big headache. ¡°My head hurts like mad!¡±. She grumbled under her breath and sat cross-legged. Her naked body was very tensed as if it had passed through a painful experience. All her muscles were painful and beads of sweat were rolling down her skin. She waited for the headache to disappear before checking her body condition. Her manipulation had obviously worked as she was still alive. She had predicted it though, she would have never died for something like that. Her chakras were now synchronized perfectly, pumping mana in unison inside her soul. This made Abi smile with satisfaction. She could now cultivate properly. Before beginning the serious business, she made a single hand seal which cast a water spell inside the room. Water elements gathered before creating water droplets. The latter condensed into a big water bubble. Abi moved the bubble which headed toward her before enveloping her body entirely. Water element was the best for cleansing. It removed all the sweats in the blink of an eye. She made the bubble disappeared once she didn¡¯t need it anymore as she was now fresh and clean. No matter what, women didn¡¯t like to be filthy. Afterward, she focused and began to absorb the ether from the surrounding. This time, the absorption speed become several times quicker than before. The ether entered the 7 primordial charkas and the central canal at the same time before being refined in mana. It flowed through all the meridians without a single one of them inactive. The mana was nourishing the soul as well as all the cells inside her physical body. She was already feeling healthier and stronger. Soon after, her soul was full of mana and couldn¡¯t absorb anymore. ¡°Good. I¡¯ve broken through the third level. I should be able to reach level five before the end of tomorrow.¡± She was planning to cultivate non-stop from now on. Cultivating was not difficult but one needed patience and diligence. Power couldn¡¯t be obtained easily. Performing a spell required mana, the essence of the soul. The mage used it literally as fuel to manipulate the elements. If one of your needs was not met by a certain spell it could be meet by another one. You just have to create the spell yourself. You wanted to fly for example? Just manipulate the wind element and you can fly like a bird. You were cold and needed warmth? No problem, just let your body absorb fire element to warm you up. You can even materialized matter out of thin air, like foods, water, gold, etc. Those examples were very basic but elemental magic had limitless potential. A mage with infinite quantity of mana was theoretically a god. Nothing was outside his reach. Abi was not a god yet, she was very far from being a god. A level 4 mage was no different than a baby having learnt to walk. She had to become stronger and fast. A average mage would need a long time to gain a single level without using some special pills or elixirs. However, Abi looked down on such methods. She was only at level 4, if she began to take drugs to advance, she would never attain a high level in her entire life. Using drugs damaged the body progressively. If the damage built up too much, all her potential would be wasted and her cultivation stuck without any chance of advancement. Fortunately, she knew a several methods to speed up cultivation without using drugs. One of such method was a cultivation technique she had acquired from an enemy she had killed in the past. That guy had been an assassin hired to kill her. Unfortunately, he had been killed by her instead. He had been a freak of nature like all the member of his race. They possessed the ability to cultivate at an insane speed and their race was famous in all the multiverse for that. Of course, countless people wanted to acquire their ability in the past but quickly gave up on the idea. Like many rare racial ability, theirs couldn¡¯t be copied. Only a freak like Abi had the power to study racial abilities like no one else. Her eyes allow her to decorticate the inner working of any spell and in the end, she had discovered how the assassin cultivated. If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. He was relying on a cultivation technique hardwired in his mind since birth. Abi had adapted it to a human anatomy so that it could be used by any human when she got back on Earth. She had called it [Renaissance of the phoenix] in the hope that one day she would bring it to humanity so that it could grow stronger the fastest possible, like a phoenix reborn from its ashes. However, humanity would have to wait her return. The technique would be used by her first. She began with a hand seal which created a certain mana circuit within her soul. She continued with another hand seal afterward then another and another. Soon, peculiar mana waves flowed within her meridians and keep circulating like standing waves. Those waves had dramatic effect on her cultivation speed. Basically, cultivating consisted of surpassing the natural limit of the soul. A soul at rest contained a fix amount of mana used for the vital needs. This amount of mana could be increased consciously till a certain extent and once the limit was reached it was difficult to increase it any further. This limit was the cultivation level and the only way to increase the limit was to mobilise mana as often as possible. In other words, one had to do magic as often as possible to increase one¡¯s cultivation. It had some similarities with physical training. A set of movements strengthened certain muscles whereas other set of movements strengthened other muscles. Similarly, certain spells strengthened certain meridians whereas other spells strengthened other meridians. Over the years, mages had created special techniques to train the soul and called them cultivation techniques. [Renaissance of the phoenix] was the peak of cultivation techniques. It allowed the user to strengthen all the meridians at the same time so that they developed quickly. Abi cultivated for the rest of the day and the entire nigh. The next day morning, her body shook violently as she broke through the fourth level to the fifth. She enjoyed the familiar feeling as if she was born anew. All her meridians have expanded in size and had become more resistant. The mana they could store was now much bigger than before. Gaining 2 levels in just one day was a cultivation speed never been seen in the entire northern continent. Some great clans or sects would go crazy over this kind of cultivation technique if they had known about it. After this second breakthrough, Abi stopped cultivating as it was not good for the soul to advance too quickly. She had to let her newly developed meridians consolidate themselves several days before beginning to cultivate again. Nonetheless, she was already satisfied with the result. Gaining two level in one day was sufficient. Anyway, she couldn¡¯t remain in her apartment as she had to go to school sometimes. Today was Monday which meant that she had courses she must attend to. She stood up and headed towards the bathroom as she needed to perform a ritual bath before going out. It was a kind of tradition, a good practice all mage should do as much as possible. When she entered the bathroom, she got stunned by what she was seeing. She had the impression of being inside a five-star hotel instead of a student apartment. A single glance was sufficient to know that everything was made of the highest quality porcelain. The floor was covered with high quality marble and everything metallic was coated with gold. ¡°What extravagance. A mage shouldn¡¯t live in an apartment like that. I feel like I¡¯m a tycoon or something.¡± She thought that this kind of luxe was superfluous. A mage sought wisdom and knowledge above everything else. Wealth was just a mean to acquire wisdom and knowledge. Living in luxe was just a waste of resource. If you were so rich why not buy cultivation resources or spell books? Why waste money on useless luxury item. She shook her head while entering the shower. Soon, water rained down on her while she was whispering something. Water had the amazing propriety of cleansing the body, the soul and the mind. With the help of a simple incantation, this propriety could be reinforced. As the water slid down, Abi felt her tiredness vanishing progressively. The water was taking her fatigue away. Her mind was also calmed down as she became more focused. All the parasitic thought vanished which was very beneficial when performing magic. Her negative emotions were also disappearing progressively as if being meted like a block of ice before a strong fire source. She finished bathing after ten minutes and dressed up quickly. Having nothing left to do, she decided to leave the apartment and headed towards the Royal Academy of Magic. Her apartment was part of a huge multi-storey building destined for students. It was not far from the academy itself, just few kilometres away. Her own apartment was, of course, located at the highest floor of the building. It was as if she was a queen destined to be above everyone else. She thought that the nobles of the Spirit Mountain Kingdom cared definitely too much about status. The moment she crossed the apartment door, she didn¡¯t bother with the stairs and jumped down from a height of several tens of meter. Once landed, she took the road leading directly to the academy. Today¡¯s class would only begin in one hour but Abi wanted to take a stroll along the road. The day promised to be a beautiful one, the morning sunlight was shining brightly from the sky. As she was walking, her long golden hair waved beautifully as the wind blew. Her mood was very good as she had never been so carefree since she had left Earth. No danger was lurking somewhere ready to strike at the slightest moment of weakness. She felt as if she was on vacation and she was decided to enjoy it. After all, good things never last. However, her mood dropped slightly soon after when she sensed three individuals following her from behind. Chapter 3: Chase Abi pretended she didn¡¯t notice them and continued her stroll. After a while, they arrived at the edge of a forest composed of tall trees with dense blue leaves. The tallest trees were at least a hundred meters tall. Their trunks were so thick than even ten men wouldn¡¯t be sufficient to surround a single tree. Bird songs could be heard from deep within the forest which only added to it mysteriousness. Abi stopped walking momentarily. She took a glance at the blue trees, pondering a moment before heading there. She had never seen a forest like this before. It was beautiful and mysterious at the same time which piqued her curiosity. However, the stalkers chose this moment to talk. ¡°What a coincidence! Is this young mistress Abiga?l?¡± Yelled someone behind her. ¡°What a pleasant surprise! It¡¯s definitely her. The flower of the Lightning clan, the top beauty of the Spirit Mountain Kingdom, Abiga?l herself.¡± Replied another voice full of scorn. Abi sighed and turned back. There were three teenage girls in front of her. She recognized them the moment she heard their voices as this group of three had pestered her for years. The group leader was the girl in the middle, the one named Aerin. She was from the Fire clan, a great rival of the Lightning clan since a long time. They clashed at any time, each of them vying for the title of the strongest clan in the kingdom, strongest after the royal clan of course. As a member of the Fire Clan, Aerin was one of the few people who dared to bully Abi openly. After all, she belonged to a powerful noble clan as well. The two girls had the same status, thus she wasn¡¯t afraid of beating Abi. The other two girls were Aerin¡¯s underlings, Menelyn and Menelia. They were twin sisters and belonged to a vassal clan of Aerin¡¯s clan. These twin sisters followed Aerin like her shadows. Hearing the twins, Abi¡¯s expression remained the same as ever, she didn¡¯t respond nor did she greet them. From her memories, Aerin and her dogs only wanted to humiliate her. They were surely preparing something. Abi didn¡¯t say anything and just stared at the three girls with a disdainful gaze. Who did they think they were? The original Abi was weak and vulnerable but not the new one. She had practiced magic for years and had tampered herself with countless life and death battles. Facing just three teenage girls was nothing for her. Noticing her disdain, Aerin frowned. ¡°What''s with this look? We are here to greet you and you treat us like that! No greetings at all. We all know how trashy you are but I didn¡¯t think you were so impolite.¡± Aerin was not happy. One of the sisters, Menelia continued. ¡°Yes, young mistress Aerin gave you face and you didn¡¯t greet her at all. You should know your place. Weaklings like you are just good to be a servant.¡± Menelyn nodded and said. ¡°Oh, I remember something. My brother is lacking a maidservant right now. What do you think about it Abiga?l? Don¡¯t you want to fill all my brother¡¯s needs? With a body like yours, he won¡¯t fail to reward you greatly.¡± She had obviously a hint of jealousy in her high-pitched voice. Abi remained expressionless but inwardly she was displeased. She was resisting the urge to slap these fools. The former owner of her body had a poor reputation. Although, she belonged to a powerful noble clan, she had been too weak to defend her status. In this world, the strong crushed the weak, only force was respected. No one would respect a weak person like her. She could not rely on her clan every time for protection. Aerin was laughing. Bullying this trash was one of her favourite hobbies. Their two clans had been rivals since the founding of the Spirit Mountain Kingdom. For the younger generation of the two clans to face each other from time to time was a normal thing. It was even one of the best sources of enjoyment in the royal capital. Some people gambled on who would win a or lose certain confrontations. But no one was interested in gambling for Abi, it was meaningless. She was a weakling too easy to bully. She hadn¡¯t won any fight against Aerin in the past so that everybody became disinterested in her. Gambling on Abi¡¯s two brothers was more satisfying. Aerin¡¯s loud and exuberant laughter died down the moment she saw Abi¡¯s reaction. The trash just smiled brightly, which only accentuated her beauty. At a moment like this, she would normally cower in fear and apologize for something she didn¡¯t even do. However, Abi was now just looking at them while smiling. What was with this girl today? She should already panic and beg for forgiveness. So, why was she so calm? Abi looked at Menelyn and responded. ¡°Becoming a servant doesn¡¯t interest me but I have heard about your brother. The rumours said he is shaped like a god with strong muscles and a handsome face. To tell you the truth, I¡¯m quite interested. Tell him to go to the Lightning manor when he has free time. I haven¡¯t tasted a good man for a long time and ¡ I miss it.¡± What a crude comment! Aerin and the twins were struck dumb. They were even blushing. What girl from a good family would say something like that? Let alone Abi, she was so shy that she would scream if touched by a guy and it had already happened in the past. The Abi they knew would never say something like that. For a split second, Aerin thought about a possible sham. Maybe Abi had engaged someone to lure them away and while they were bothering the fake one, the true Abi would already be somewhere else, safe and sound. This thought crossed Aerin¡¯s mind before being dismissed entirely. There were spells which could transform one¡¯s body but they were not accessible to anyone. Those high-level spells required a high cultivation level to use. However, while sensing Abi¡¯s aura, Aerin discovered that she was only at level 5. She was obviously the same Abi as before but with a strange behaviour. Aerin couldn¡¯t help but feel that something strange was going on. Stunned for a brief moment, Aerin recovered before shouting angrily. ¡°Why are you acting so cocky today? Do you think you can escape my punishment while acting like crazy? I just wanted to discipline you a little but I have changed my mind. You need a good beating to remember your place.¡± Abi¡¯s bright smile was replaced by a disdainful one. A good beating? After she had been transported to another world, she had faced bitter struggles. With no ally, she had to rely on herself to survive. She had experienced so many life and death battles that, even now, she was wondering how she had survived. Her slyness had surely played a big role in her survival. Unlike so many prideful mages, she would flee without hesitation if faced with overwhelming odds. If she had the advantage though, she would kill without mercy. However, her current situation was not a life and death battle. She couldn¡¯t kill those idiots as it would cause too much ruckus. She didn¡¯t want to break her cover so soon. However, even if killing was not an option, she could still give them a good beating. This book is hosted on another platform. Read the official version and support the author''s work. She also thought that it was a good opportunity to train. She had just had a breakthrough this morning, a fight was the best way to consolidate her meridians. Moreover, it was an opportunity to witness what kind of magic was used in this world. Having made up her mind, Abi¡¯s hands flashed with a hand seal. Mana burst out from her and spread on the surroundings. It modified the wind element streams around her body which formed a whirlpool with her at the center. She was like a blackhole, sucking wind element at an insane speed. Soon her body became weightless as she floated above the ground. Not wasting time, she flew towards the forest, wanting to attract those three in a quiet place, far from anyone who could interfere. Seeing their prey fleeing into the forest, Aerin and the twins didn¡¯t react at first, they were too flabbergasted for that. The trash had never dared to flee in front of them before, she had no such courage. She had never fought back but always stay there obediently when listening to them. But now, she was fleeing. In the end, Aerin reacted first as she yelled at the sisters. ¡°Quick, let¡¯s chase after her!¡± The twins came back to reality and began to also chant a spell. It took them several seconds to cast [Wind Steps]. With wind element covering their entire bodies, the three pursuers became several times faster than before. They dashed towards the forest, running at high speed. Three girls were chasing another one inside a dense forest. From time to time, sound of explosions could be heard. Aerin and her underlings were running behind Abi for a quarter of an hour already but couldn¡¯t catch up. Aerin would have never imagined something like that would happen. What should have been a simple bullying session had become a speed-chase across a forest. Their prey was too slippery and held an absolute advantage as she was not running but flying which made Aerin furious. Since when had the trash mastered a flying spell like that? She could use it for so long despite her cultivation level. A level 5 mage shouldn¡¯t be able to maintain a spell like that for very long. ¡°Wait! Level 5. Her cultivation was level 3 one week ago. How did she¡?¡± Aerin¡¯s mind was spinning. Had Abi gained two levels in less than a week? Such a high cultivation speed was impossible without using some heaven defying pills. Pills which were difficult to obtain even for the Lightning clan. And even if they had obtained some, wasting it on a trash was too much of waste. Those kinds of pills should be used to help a high-level mage to advance in cultivation but not someone who had not even reach level 10. Maybe a master alchemist had given her something but who would be so wasteful? A mage like Abi was not worthy for such a treatment. Why not just give your pill to a dog? It could make it better use of it than Abi. This girl was despised by everyone. Relying on wealth and status to get a spot at the Royal Academy of Magic? Utterly despicable! Furthermore, her cowardly behaviour made her even more disgusting. She never fought back when provoked, always lowering her head. How could a mage act like that? Aerin was not the only one who bullied her in school. As no one had respect for Abi, she didn¡¯t have a single friend. With no one to defend her, and no strength to defend herself, her life within the academy was like a living hell. Aerin understood that the trash had surely used an alchemic pill to advance in cultivation. The more she thought about it, the more she was convinced. ¡°Do you think you can fight back with a cultivation like that?¡± Aerin snorted coldly. ¡°Stupid girl. I am level 13 right now. I can crush you like a bug.¡± She extended a hand and began chanting. A ball of fire formed befor surging forth towards the object of her wrath. [Fireball] A rank one spell like [Fireball] was normally not very impressive. However, it was totally different in the hands of a level 13 mage. Being one of the first spells she had learned, Aerin had mastered it completely. Just after her shout, a ball of fire one-meter wide surged forward and straight at Abi. The latter avoided it though. She had even evaded it with ease, like she had eyes behind her back. Like a bird, she suddenly changed direction and the fireball slammed onto a nearby tree. An explosion followed, causing a powerful gust of wind while burning trees at the same time. Wood splinters scattered everywhere. In the hands of a 13-level mage, [Fireball] displayed its full might. However, a powerful spell had no use if it didn¡¯t touch the target. Menelyn and Menelia were not left out. As good underlings, it was their responsibility to support Aerin in everything she did. They were chanting spells continuously, firing [Wind Blade] from time to time. Unfortunately, they didn¡¯t have better result that their boss. Their [Wind Blade] were always dodged, all that they were good for was cutting tree trunks or branches. Their damages output was low as well as their attack speed, which couldn¡¯t be blamed on them. As they came from a minor clan, their talents were lower, and the resources at their disposal were not at the level of what was accessible to Aerin. Even their spells were of lower quality, needing longer cast time or more mana to use. Although, they were just wasting their mana meaninglessly, the twins continued to shoot [Wind Blade]''s without fail. Abi avoided everything thrown at her. She was flying deeper into the forest and she wasn¡¯t flying very quickly. It was easy to see that she could have distanced her pursuers if she wanted to but she kept flying slowly for an unknown reason. This fact didn¡¯t escape Aerin¡¯s notice and made her even more furious. Abi was obviously taunting her. She shot fireball after fireball but the trash managed to avoid them without any difficulty. Avoiding those kinds of spell was child''s play for Abi. After all, she had reached a high cultivation level previously. She possessed extremely kin senses and a huge amount of battle experience. Kids like Aerin and the twins couldn¡¯t compare. Abi could perceive the tiniest amount of mana fluctuation around her and predict the fireball trajectories. She was like a ghost as she crossed the forest. ¡°Abiga?l! Stop immediately or I will kill you. If you come here and beg for forgiveness, I will let you go with only some broken bones.¡± Aerin yelled, angrier than ever. No matter how many time she attacked, she couldn¡¯t land a single fireball on the trash. Considered a genius within her generation, Aerin was proud of her talent. How could she support such a shame? Abi¡¯s response didn¡¯t take very long. ¡°I¡¯m sorry Aerin but I don¡¯t like being chased by women.I prefer boys. Really, I don¡¯t want you to have false hope about me. No matter what you¡¯ll do, I can¡¯t reciprocate your feelings. It¡¯s best if we avoid each other in the future.¡± Abi said with a sorrowful tone. Aerin almost stumbled to the ground while running. What the nonsense was she spouting? Before Aerin could respond, Abi continued with her speech. ¡°You have bothered me since our childhood. I didn¡¯t understand at first but now I do. You are in love and you do everything possible to catch my attention. What a pity, I don¡¯t have this kind of sentiment toward women. Please leave me alone. I don¡¯t want to be part of your harem. Those two dogs of yours should suffice, don¡¯t be too greedy! Aerin wanted to puke. How did she arrive at such a conclusion? As for the twins, their faces became unsightly. They were being treated as harem members. It was too much this time. Aerin suddenly stopped running. Abi noticed it and stopped as well, a hundred meters away, wondering what the three were going to do. As for Aerin, she was trembling with rage. She even emitted a strong killing intent. She had always been treated as a genius by everyone which made her feel proud of herself. She was among the best mage of her generation, her name known by everyone in the whole kingdom. She was so talented that even the royal family must be respectful when dealing with her. After all, even the royal clan must respect a possible future archmagus. But this Abiga?l, a weakling and total failure, was not doing what she wanted her to do. She was even mocking Aerin, spouting all kinds of nonsense. It was too infuriating. With grit teeth, Aerin whispered with icy cold tone. ¡°Girls, summon your spirits right now. We will make this trash pay for all those insults.¡± Chapter 4 : First battle The twins were momentarily surprised before nodding in response. They began to chant at the same time as Aerin, their voices echoing loudly inside the silent forest. Abi was watching them at safe distant with a look full of anticipation and a slight grin on her face. She had been waiting for them to summon their contracted spirits. It was the reason she didn¡¯t respond to their attacks since the beginning. She wanted to know what kind of power the spiritualists of the Spirit Mountain Kingdom possessed. She was not just driven by curiosity alone, on the contrary, she thought that assessing the strengths and weaknesses of her fellow mages was of capital importance. Moreover, she had to learn their magic quickly or else she would blow her cover. After all, it was too strange for a spiritualist to not know anything about summoning magic. As every time she wanted to study something, Abi activated her [Divine Eyes]. The world changed and everything became translucent while glowing with multicoloured light. Focusing her attention on her pursuers, she analysed and memorized every move they made. The moment Aerin and the twins finished their incantations, their meridians lighted up brightly. The brightest were Aerin¡¯s meridians. As a 13-level mage, she possessed a greater mana pool than the twins who were both just at level 9. Moreover, Aerin came from a major clan with thousands of years of history. Her bloodline was very strong and her meridian system was one of the densest in the entire kingdom. Even if a mage¡¯s strength depended heavily the mana pool, it was not the only factor to be taken into account. The mage¡¯s spell inventory was also a critical factor. Like all existing things, spells were not equals to each other. Some were considered of better quality than others and the higher quality spells were those which could display better performances. Abi remembered that the Spirit Mountain Kingdom ranked spells from 1 to 10. Although she didn¡¯t know exactly what the ranking was based on, she knew that the lowest rank was 1 while the highest was 10. She tried to remember something else but quickly gave up when nothing came to her mind. The former Abiga?l was anything but a good mage. Her memories were full of useless things, none of them related to magic. Abi was really disappointed about this fact. Mage were beings who valued knowledge and wisdom above everything else. So why was the former Abi so uneducated? It seemed like she had obtained a perfect physique but little patience for study. At least she knew the names of some rank one spells which were not considered dangerous. They were not destined to be used during a serious fight but just for training. [Fireball] and [Wind Blade] were such spells. Aerin and her underlings had used earlier which proved that despite all her death threats, Aerin had been holding back until now. Abi was still lost in thought when a strong gust of wind broke her out of her reverie. Something serious was going on as she saw the flow of the ether ocean becoming chaotic. More precisely, the wind and fire elements within the ether were flowing chaotically. Abi immediately identified Aerin and the twins as the sources of the disturbance and it was not that difficult to guess. Few things could escape Abi¡¯s vision. If she wanted; she could literally see every cell in her pursuer¡¯s bodies. But she wouldn¡¯t waste mana for that. For now, she was more interested in their souls. Seeing their chakras and meridians would allow her to study their spells and duplicate them in the future. As she was studying them carefully, Abi saw their manas spread in the surroundings. Soon, the wind and fire elements began to flow in a tornado-like movement. A strong burst of elemental energy fluctuation appeared just in front of each of them. It was located on the ground where some strange geometric figures began to form. Once finished forming, those figures condensed into three magic circles full of complicated symbols. They were glowing brightly but not with an ordinary light. In fact, they were not visible to the naked eye as they were made of pure elements. Only a spiritualist or someone with a special power could see this kind of magical circle. A peculiar symbol, bigger than the others, was located in the center of each circle. The big symbols began to rotate first slowly then more and more quickly. Finally, they rotated so quickly that space itself seemed to deform. The big symbols disappeared and formed something like a blackhole. After careful observation Abi was astonished to discover that she couldn¡¯t see anything inside the blackhole. She knew how to recognize a teleportation portal when she saw one but the fact that she couldn¡¯t see beyond the portal was very strange. It was as if nothing existed there, or more precisely, the things beyond the portals were hidden from her sight. That fact alone made her tense up and she narrowed her eyebrows. She was accustomed to see everything and hated what she couldn¡¯t see. It could only mean only one thing¡ danger! She had the intuition that no matter what would come out of the portals that would be dangerous. White smokes were coming out of the holes before heading straight at the Aerin and the twins. After the three girls finished absorbing the white smokes, their bodies underwent incredible transformations. At least, the former Abi¡¯s memories contained some information about what was going on. It was a summoning ritual, a magic performed by spiritualist in order to summon spirits in the physical world. It was a very complicated magic with many evolutionary stages. Low level spiritualist like Aerin could only master the initial stage of the summoning magic. In the initial stage, the spirit entered the spiritualist¡¯s body and granted a part of its own power. In higher stages, the spirit could even be summoned with its own body and soul but only high-level spiritualists were qualified to do that. Although Abi¡¯s pursuers were just at the initial stage of the summoning magic, their transformations made them stronger than before. As their contracted spirits couldn¡¯t form an independent body, they used the spiritualists¡¯ bodies as mediums. In the process, the spirits transformed the spiritualists¡¯ physical bodies and souls. With her vision, Abi saw meridians being altered as new vessels were forming at an incredible speed. She looked at Menelia and Menelyn and noticed a change in their auras. It was as if they had become one with the wind element itself and could command it with a single thought. Their entire bodies were covered in a layer of air where terrifying winds were raging. Just looking at them made Abi¡¯s heart beat faster. She had the intuition that if she happened to be touched by those winds, she would be cut into pieces. The twins had become scary but that was nothing compared to Aerin. She was now like a fire god as her entire body was covered with terrifying flames. Abi even felt the scorching heat at a hundred meters distance. Aerin moved a finger, it was a single finger but it sent a huge wave of flame towards Abi. Comparing this attack with a [Fireball] was like comparing the heaven and the earth. The wave of flames was 3 meters high and 10 meters wide. What made Abi even more astonished was that Aerin didn¡¯t chant anything to cast the spell. Normally, the more powerful a spell was the more time it took to cast it. But the caster had just moved a finger! Her contracted spirit had clearly increased her affinity with fire element. As the flames were rushing towards Abi, they burned everything in their wakes. Wherever the wave passed, only ashes remained. As for the heat, it was just unbearable. Without their spirits protecting them, Aerin and the twins would have been burned to ash in the blink of an eye. The flames exploded when they arrived near Abi while scattering wood debris in all direction. The following explosion was deafening and echoed at dozens of kilometres around. After seeing such a raw display of raw power, Menelyn couldn¡¯t help but grinned. Along with her sister, she slowly turned her head and stared at Aerin with respect. This kind of battle prowess was worthy of a genius. Menelyn thought that with such talent, Aerin¡¯s future was very bright. At this moment, she was happier than ever. Being a Fire clan¡¯s vassal, the more the Fire clan was powerful the better it was. If the clan fell, Menelyn¡¯s clan would fall as well. She shifted her gaze in front of her and felt pity for Abi. That poor girl had been struck by such a mighty fire spell. If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. Aerin also noticed the damages and frowned. She had the impression of having overdone it. A trash like Abi had no way to withstand an attack like that. She hoped the trash didn¡¯t die as the consequences would be disastrous. Someone with Aerin¡¯s status could kill a commoner without problem. Killing a minor noble was slightly more problematic but not so much. However, killing a major noble was totally different. It was sufficient to spark a clan war and she didn¡¯t want to cause a war. She was arrogant but far from stupid. The Spirit Mountain Kingdom was put under a lot of pressure right now. Enemies were everywhere and the kingdom needed stability. At the slightest sign of weakness, the enemies would attack without hesitation. Aerin didn¡¯t want to cause a disaster so she began to worry for Abi. However, her worry dissipated immediately when she spotted Abi within the smoke. Not only was she alive, she didn¡¯t even get any injury. Moreover, she was staring at Aerin with a gaze full of disdain like she didn¡¯t put Aerin in her eyes at all. The latter become so furious that the flames covering her body doubled in volume. As the twins noticed this as well, they reached for their interspatial rings and both took out a bow. They didn¡¯t waste time and pull back the bowstrings. Soon; two [Wind Arrows] headed straight at Abi who was still hovering in midair. She manoeuvred to avoid the arrows but found it difficult to fly. The arrows affected the wind element in the surroundings which made her control over it lessen tremendously. She succeeded to avoid the arrows at the last minute but suddenly saw several more arrows. The twins were shooting arrows as if their bows were automatic rifles. Two, six, ten, twenty ... a hundred [Wind Arrows] covered the sky. This time, Abi didn¡¯t dare to act recklessly. Although an individual arrow didn¡¯t do much damage, a hundred of them could cause serious injuries. She quickly increased her speed before the arrows arrived at their destination. She was dodging all the arrows as best as she could. Like a missile, she few at high speed between the trees. She was so rapid that only afterimages could be seen. Unfortunately, Aerin unexpectedly arrived in front of her while shouting with rage. ¡°Do you think you are the only one who can fly?¡± She had used her spirit to fly as well and she was not flying like a bird but like a meteorite, her entire covered in red flames. Although, she didn¡¯t possessed the suffocating beauty of Abiga?l, if one judged Aerin based on Earth¡¯s beauty criteria, she would be classified as supreme beauty. With her perfect white skin, long red hair and perfect proportion, few women could be considered above her. In fact, all mages were handsome or beautiful as if magic had improved their physiques somewhat. Even the twins were beautiful beyond reason. They possessed blue hair like everybody in their clan and also a perfect physiques. Aerin profited from the element of surprise to punch Abi¡¯s belly. A punch backed by her spirit¡¯s power was abnormally strong. It sent Abi flying like a kite with its string cut. She slammed into the ground below with a tremendous force. A huge explosion followed, sending rocks and dusts everywhere. A normal person would never survive a punch like that. Only mages with their strong physical resistance could take such beating and survive. Aerin relaxed after succeeding at beating the trash. She had almost lost confidence in her strength. How would she not? If it spread that she took so much time to catch Abi, she would be too ashamed of herself. She snorted and prepared to check Abi¡¯s status when a kind of devilish laughter made her stop in her tracks. It didn¡¯t take her long to find the origin of the laughter. It was Abi who was laughing with an lovely voice. Aerin got the urge to ask what was so funny but she swallowed back her words when she realized that Abi was not injured in the slightest. If she didn¡¯t have a strong self-control, Aerin¡¯s lower jaw would drop to the ground. Her mind screamed with frustration. How had Abi done that? How had she managed to take her punch without a scratch? The twins who had just arrived in the vicinity were equally shaken. They thought that if it was them who had been struck like that, they would have been badly injured. The whole forest was dead silent and only a strange laughter could be heard. Soon after, the laughter died down and was replaced by a melodious voice. ¡°That was quite a strong punch Aerin. You almost scared me to death. If I have had a breakfast this morning I would have vomited everything.¡± Although it seemed like she was taken by surprise, it was not true. How could her divine eyes miss Aerin¡¯s movement? She had detected her from the beginning and had made preparations beforehand. The fire princess was greeting her teeth in anger. Abi made it sound like her punch was nothing special, like she could take hundred of them without problem. It was an insult that Aerin couldn¡¯t tolerate. The twins¡¯s faces also darkened. The trash was too infuriating. How could she talk so casually after receiving that last attack? She hadn¡¯t a spirit to protect her at all so, it was impossible for her to remain unscathed. At the meantime, Abi continued her speech. ¡°I must thank you three. You have given me some valuable intel. Unfortunately, my course I will begin in a few minutes. So, I must end this little game.¡± Aerin responded with an icy cold tone. ¡°You make it sound like you can beat us whenever you want. I don¡¯t know what happened to you. I think you have gone crazy but I don¡¯t care. You will not escape from me.¡± Hearing Aerin made Abi narrow her eyes. ¡°You misunderstand me. I don¡¯t plan to escape and I won¡¯t go anywhere before dealing with you. You have been bothering me for too long. I must teach you a good lesson so that you stop bothering me.¡± She smiled dangerously. ¡°Open your eyes well, I will show you a special magic called I have created myself. It¡¯s called [Inertia control].¡± She quickly performed a set of hand-seals before raising her arms, each palm facing one of the twins. Menelyn and Menelia suddenly sensed a powerful force pulling them backward. It was like a free fall but instead of falling downward, they were falling backward. It was too sudden. They were previously standing normally on the ground but in the blink of an eye, they were flushed backward at an insane speed. Their bodies hit the trees immediately behind them which exploded into pieces as if hit by cannonballs. And it was just the beginning. Having lost only a fraction of their speeds, the sisters continued to fall backward. They hurt tree after tree while reducing them to pieces. They stopped moving after a hundred meters and it was obvious that the game was finished for them. Their injuries were so severe that they fainted on the spot. If not for the protection of their spirits, they would have surely died. This time, Aerin couldn¡¯t help but shiver. What kind of magic was that? She didn¡¯t have to time ponder it though. Abi had already pointed her palm toward her. She felt a strong force beginning to drag her frontward as if she was falling towards Abi. She reacted immediately and breathed deeply. When her lungs became full she expulsed everything from her mouth. Instead of exhaling air, she exhaled an enormous fireball which accelerated towards Abi thanks to [Inertia Control]. Abi immediately cancelled the spell before reversing its effect. When the fireball was just a few meters above her, it suddenly lost all its speed and dropped on the ground before exploding violently. Aerin profited from this diversion to retreat. She needed time to reassess the situation as Abi¡¯s magic was too strange. It was called [Inertia Control] but what was inertia? Aerin didn¡¯t have any clue which made her greet her teeth in anger. Fighting an opponent with unknown capabilities was a nightmare. She couldn¡¯t be careless. She had to widen the distance between them and search for a weakness. She would strike afterward when an opportunity presented itself. However, her plan shattered when Abi appeared right in front of her which made her eyes widened in shock. Aerin tried to react but it was too late. A punch struck her belly which made her cried in pain. This punch was like an unstoppable mountain putting an immense pressure on her body. Before she was sent flying towards the ground, she saw Abi more closely. During a split second, she noticed her eyes. Two incredible golden coloured eyes with pupils shaped like a little suns. She saw those eyes for only a split second but it was sufficient to make her soul tremble. Aerin finally crashed on the ground like a meteorite. Chapter 5 : The library Aerin woke up in pain. Waiting for a wave of dizziness to pass, she tried to recall what happened. It didn¡¯t take her long to remember everything. She immediately became furious. ¡°Bitch ¡ just wait ¡ I¡¯ll make you ¡ pay.¡± She said with gritted teeth. If someone had told her she would suffer so greatly at the hand of Abi, she would have never believed him. Not only had she lost but she had also miserably lost. Moreover, it was a 3 vs 1 fight. Even if they had been holding back without the intent to kill, they should have been able to crush Abi without much effort. Aerin could only sigh with resignation after recalling the previous fight. After observing the surroundings, Aerin noticed that she was at the bottom of a huge crater. It was difficult to imagine how a mere punch could have created such a huge crater. Her belly was still crying in pain because of Abi¡¯s punch. She casted a healing spell to treat her injuries. The spell wrapped her body in a gentle white light and she was soon able to move again. After exiting the crater, Aerin went to search for the twins. She recalled that they had also suffered greatly under Abi¡¯s care. The culprit had already at destination. She arrived in time but had encountered a nasty surprise. Standing in front of a wooden door, she was staring at a poster attached to the door with an annoyed expression. ¡°Tsss ¡ If you want to cancel a course, at least tell the student in advance.¡± She muttered under her breath. She was not angry because the course was important, she was angry because she had wasted time coming here, time she could have used to cultivate. Courses in the Royal Academy of Magic were divided in ¡°Mandatory courses¡± and ¡°Optional courses¡±. A mandatory course was held once per week and all the students had to attend it. In case of absence, the student would be penalized. Although the optional courses were not mandatory, they were the most important ones as mandatory courses only displayed basic knowledges. However, not everyone could attend an optional course as nearly everything in the Royal Academy of Magic had to be earned through competition. In fact, nearly everything required contribution points which could only be earned but not given. As a total failure, the former Abi didn¡¯t possess a high amount of contribution points. Thus, she hadn¡¯t attended a single optional course since the beginning of the academic year. Abi took a mental note to earn the maximum of contribution points as quickly as possible. According to her memories, there were many interesting things which could be exchanged with contribution points. Those resources would be very helpful for her future cultivation. But, for the time beings, she decided to take a trip to the library. There was no better place to gather information than a library and she needed as much information as possible about this new world. The academy resembled a small city. Many buildings could be seen and the library was the biggest of them all. It looked like a gothic-style stone cathedral. Located in the middle of the academy itself, it dominated everything with its height. Seeing the library reminded Abi of a modern skyscraper on Earth as it was just too big. Dozens of students were entering and exiting its entrance every second which made it look like an anthill. They all looked very busy but their expressions changed when they saw Abi approaching. Different reactions could be seen. The women frowned while shooting disdainful gazes. The guys were also shooting disdainful gazes but mixed with disgusting smiles. Those guys, it was not difficult to imagine what they were thinking while looking at her. Some of them were even licking their lips but none approached. Apparently, their disgust was more powerful than their lust. Although, anyone in this situation should be angry or feel at least uncomfortable, Abi didn¡¯t mind it at all. In fact, she understood them completely. There was no more prestigious school than the Royal Academy of Magic. Each student here was a genius among geniuses, chosen from talents all over the Spirit Mountain Kingdom. It must be known that the kingdom had a population of a little more than one billion and everyone was a mage. Of course, talent levels in the population were not distributed equitably. At one end of the spectrum were the people stuck at level 1 or 2 for their whole lives. They couldn¡¯t become a spiritualist with such poor talents and were only capable of using basic spells. At the other end the spectrum were the absolute geniuses who were able to attain level 7 at the age of 16. Only those young mages were worthy of the Royal Academy of Magic. With such environment, it was not astonishing to find proud and arrogant student in the academy. In fact, all of them were proud and arrogant to some extent. How could they support the arrival of Abi in the same school of them? Putting a talentless level 3 student was like an insult to their pride. Abi ignored them as she passed the library entrance. After passing the entrance, she entered a luxurious circular room a hundred meters large. The entirety of the floor was covered with marble while the walls were covered with silver and gold. There was a ten meters high statue in the middle of the room, a statue entirely made with gold. It depicted an old man wearing an armour. He was exuding an aura of absolute power as he was standing with a sword on his right hand and a star on the left hand. The old man was staring at something far away with an expression of intense concentration. It was as if he was facing his archenemy. Abi tried to recall who this old man was as he must have been someone important in the history of the academy. But no matter how hard she tried, she recalled nothing. Her mind was totally blank which made her sigh wit sorrow. As a former scientist, she was used to know a lot of things about many subjects. Not knowing such trivial thing as the name of an historical figure made her feel dejected. She really needed to hurry and learn the history of this new world. After passing a door in the back of the circular room, she crossed a corridor which lead to the reception. Instead of a librarian, a human-shaped clay golem greeted her. It resembled a human except for its face which had no eyes, nose and no mouth. It began talking mechanically with a voice coming out of nowhere. ¡°Abiga?l Lightning, first year student, 10 contribution points. You have not sufficient contribution points to borrow a spell scroll. Consultation only. Please take a seat.¡± Abi nodded before sitting at a random table without paying attention to the people sitting next to her. Before her butt touched a chair, nearly all the people occupying the table stood up hurriedly before searching for another one. They left a dumbfounded Abi. What the hell! Did she stink or something? She began to wonder as everybody ran away as soon as she approached. It made her feel like she was a bag full of stinking shit. Although she was a loner, she didn¡¯t mind interacting with people from time to time like any normal person. Unfortunately, the former Abi¡¯s reputation was too bad which dissuaded anyone from interacting with her. Although, it was annoying, she couldn¡¯t do anything about it. Thus, she ignored the issue and decided to search for interesting books. It was this moment that she realized something unexcepted. Not everybody had left the table. There was a young man sitting in front of her. According to his uniform, he should be a first-year student like her. This young man was fully concentrated on reading. There was a huge pile of books next to him and he ignored the entire world as he was flipping through books. Seeing him made Abi think about the old days when she was still a student at the university. She had been just like him when reading books. She even remembered that one day, she had almost slept inside a library as she had been too engrossed about a quantum electrodynamics book. After looking at the young man which reminded her of a good memory of home, she decided to talk to him. It was always good to make some connection and create good karma with other people. ¡°I think you forgot something.¡± She said. The young man seemed like he didn¡¯t hear anything as he took another book from the huge pile. Slightly embarrassed, Abi coughed to attract his attention. Unfortunately, the guy didn¡¯t notice it at all. She coughed much louder but without better result. He was ignoring her! She pursed her lips with dissatisfaction. Nearly everybody ran away when they saw her and the only person who didn¡¯t run away was ignoring her completely. She suddenly stood up, turned around the table before sitting next to him. This time, he noticed her arrival and looked at her. This narrative has been purloined without the author''s approval. Report any appearances on Amazon. ¡°I think you forgot something.¡± She said again with a gentle smile, a kind of smile which was enough to melt any man¡¯s heart. ¡°When I arrive, everybody left this table except you. It¡¯s not too late, you know. You should leave now before your reputation takes a hit. It¡¯s not a good idea to stay at the same table as me, Abiga?l the trash.¡± She was looking at him intensely, anticipating what kind of reaction he would have. What she didn¡¯t realize was that she had come too close to him. The young man had been in the process of solving a complicated problem when a terrifying beauty suddenly talked to him. He almost died of heart attack the moment he saw her. A blond girl with long golden hair as soft as silk, a face like that of a celestial, tiny lips which made you want to eat them and her chest! He gulped a mouthful of saliva. He had the impression that her breasts had their own wills and were whispering to him. They wanted to be grabbed and to be kissed and ¡ His hands were already moving but a sudden spark of intelligence lighted up in his mind which made him stop. It was fortunate that his rational mind came back to save him. A quick reflection made him conclude that he had no chance to sleep with this girl. Thus, it was useless to even try. As he also remembered the complicated problem he had to solve, he finally said. ¡°Oh, I don¡¯t really care about my reputation as long as I¡¯m left alone.¡± He said as he began to read a book again like nothing happened. Seeing this, Abi thought that the guy was definitely a weirdo. In theory, a man should be happy to talk with a beautiful girl, right? But she underestimated the power of her new body. A normal woman with her physic would already be categorized as otherworldly beautiful but, with magic added to the mix, it had made her body emit a special aura which mesmerized one¡¯s soul. The closer she was to someone the stronger the aura was felt. Sitting so close to the yound man made her irresistible for him. Her power was so strong that it had an opposite effect on the young man. After seeing Abi, he just concluded that she was too beautiful for him and totally lost interest in her. After the fiasco, she decided to leave him alone. According to her memory, searching a book in this large library required a special spell. After whispering something, a white screen appeared in front of her. It looked like a hologram at first sight but was in fact entirely different. A hologram was a projection of light on a physical medium whereas the white screen was a concentration of solid light. How can they make light become solid? There was only one explanation ¡ magic! Abi touched the screen which was of course a tactile screen and began searching for historical books. Soon, thousands of references appeared on the screen. There were just too many books and she didn¡¯t know which was of them were good ones. After thinking for a long time, she couldn¡¯t help but look at the young man again. A bookworm like him should be able to help her, she thought. She coughed again to attract his attention. The young man frowned, he didn¡¯t like to be disturbed. ¡°I wonder if you could help me find some books?¡± She asked apologetically. He sighed before leaning towards her. ¡°What kind of books do you want?¡± He asked with a hint of frustration. He wanted to finish this task as quickly as possible and return to his spell design. Moreover, he began to smell a sweet fragrance from Abi which attracted him like a magnet. How troublesome! ¡°Books about the history of Alta?a. Official history but also legends and myths. I also want some books about the history of the northern continent, the Spirit Mountain Kingdom and geopolitics of the empires and kingdoms within the northern continent. By the way, what¡¯s your name?¡± Abi asked after stating her demand. ¡°Feanor.¡± He said while trying to remember all the books he had read about history. Soon, he found some references and pressed the screen. Each time he touched a book title, said book would leave its shelf before heading towards the table by flying. After a short time, a huge pile of books appeared in front of Abi. His task finished, Feanor wanted to return to his previous seat but Abi pulled his arm which made him feel like being struck by lightning. He sensed a strange energy entering his meridians before spreading in his entire body. Soon, something soft in his lower abdomen began to harden. ¡°Wait¡±, she said. ¡°You have help me quite well, I have to help you in return. Is there something you need?¡± Trying hard to control himself, Feanor answered with difficulty. ¡°No need, you can¡¯t help me.¡± He tried to free his arm but it didn¡¯t bulge. It was like his arm was imprisoned by a metallic clamp. ¡°You don¡¯t understand. You helped me and I will help you. What you have given me I will pay you back. That is karma.¡± She responded, her eyes burning with seriousness. She was so serious that Feanor became embarrassed. What was so important about it anyway? He thought for a moment and decided to let her do what she wanted. He couldn¡¯t waste any more time here. He sat back next to her and put a piece of paper on the table. Abi recognized a spell scroll immediately as the paper was covered with symbols. ¡°I¡¯ve been working on this spell for one month. It¡¯s a variation of [Adros Shield], a rank one spell. When casted, it should create an energy screen in front of the user which should block all physical attacks. I¡¯ve designed a minor variation which, according to my calculations, should increase the defence capabilities by at least 10%. But it doesn¡¯t work. No matter what I try, it refuses to work.¡± Feanor said with an angry tone of voice. He didn¡¯t think that Abi would be able to help him. He just stated his problem so that she realized the difficulty of the endeavour. Who did she think she was? Even he, Feanor, couldn¡¯t solve it, much less an average girl. He was even smirking, waiting for Abi¡¯s confidence to falter so that he could return to his spell design. However, he became soon disappointed as the young woman didn¡¯t plan to give up. She looked at the scroll a moment before talking again. ¡°You are only a first-year student but you want to improve a spell already? Truly ambitious. You are lucky I¡¯m here. Look, the problem are those symbols. They are not compatible with each other which create an imbalance. The mana isn¡¯t being transmuted properly. But, it should be fine if you use other symbols instead.¡± She put a finger above the scroll and all the symbols began squirming like little insects. The bad symbols trembled before disappearing. Soon, they were replaced by new ones. The moment the new symbols appeared, the entire scroll trembled violently while emitting a gust of elemental energy. It couldn¡¯t be mistaken; a complete spell scroll had been created. Feanor¡¯s eyes widened in shock. How was that possible? He had spent an entire month on this spell but hadn¡¯t find a solution. However, a random girl unexpectedly solved his problem. Not only had she solved the problem, she had solved it without any effort as if it was the easiest thing in the world. It was spell design for God¡¯s sake, one of the most difficult job in the world. Becoming a spell designer was Feanor¡¯s dream but he knew of the extreme difficulty to reach it. The difference between using a spell and creating one was like the difference between the heaven and the earth. If Abi had been a spell designer, he would not be so shocked but she was just a first-year student like him. Her uniform was undoubtedly that of a first-year student. He felt defeated, completely defeated. She was not only beautiful beyond reason, she was also a genius spell designer. Seeing him in a daze for too long worried Abi a little. She gave the scroll back and asked. ¡°Are you fine? You are looking strange.¡± Feanor finally came back to reality after hearing her. He took the scroll hurriedly like it was some kind of treasure. ¡°Yes ¡ I¡¯m ¡ I¡¯m fine. Thank you for the scroll.¡± He said with difficulty as he still couldn¡¯t believe what he had seen earlier. Abi nodded before talking. ¡°We are even then.¡± ¡°Heuuu ¡ can you give some pointers with spell design in the future? If I encountered a difficult problem of course. I won¡¯t bother you with something trivial.¡± He couldn¡¯t help but try. This kind of genius was very rare. If he wanted some pointers from a teacher, it would cost him too much. Contrary to his expectation, Abi didn¡¯t refuse. ¡°Sure, come find me if you have any difficulty.¡± She was too adorable, Feanor thought. She hadn¡¯t think about it at all and immediately accepted. He had a very good impression of her because of that. As he was thinking, he couldn¡¯t prevent his eyes for looking at her tender neck and even more tender chest. A sudden urge to pounce on her appeared in his mind but he suppressed it and hurriedly headed to the room exit. He had the intuition that he would do a very stupid thing if he remained there any longer. Abi looked at him go and smiled. She thought that sowing good karma was always a good thing to do. You always reap what you sow. Those who sowed good things would be rewarded but those who sowed evil would be punished. That was karma, the most fundamental law in the multiverse. When she thought about punishment, she remembered her old enemies. Her eyes became icy cold while thinking about them. ¡°Wait for me guys, it¡¯s me who will find you. And when I¡¯ll find you ¡ hmmm. Just prepare to die!¡± Chapter 6 : A new hope Everybody was working quietly under the watchful gaze of the golem. No one wanted to attract unnecessary attention. Although it was just a soulless being, the golem had been given total authority within the reading room and could use his authority to enact punishment. Perhaps it was precisely because it didn¡¯t possess a soul that everybody dreaded it. It was just like an automaton, like robots back on Earth. No one could negotiate with the golem which made it a dangerous guy in the mind of all the students of the academy. No one wanted to be punished as punishment meant a loss of contribution points. Thus, everybody was well-behaved except one person. One particular student had attracted the golem¡¯s attention as it found her acting strangely. From time to time, Abi would call for a book, would glance at it several seconds before dismissing it for another one. She was just glancing at a book before throwing it aside as if it was worthless. If she had done it three or four time, the golem might not have mind it but she had been doing it for one hour already. How many books had she chosen from the bookshelves? The golem wasn¡¯t sure but it didn¡¯t like what she was doing. The golem thought that she was doing it on purpose to cause trouble. However, she hadn¡¯t broken any rule thus the golem couldn¡¯t do nothing about it. Thus, it continued to watch carefully. Contrary to the golem¡¯s suspicion though, Abi was not just fooling around. She was in fact reading with her [Divine Eyes]. Naturally, she had casted an illusion on her eyes so that no one would notice anything. With her power, she only needed several seconds to read a book without the need to open it at all. Moreover, like any self-respecting mage, she possessed a perfect memory. Everything her senses perceived was irremediably remembered to the utmost detail. If it were all to it, it wouldn¡¯t be a big deal but her eye power multiplied the usefulness of this capability several folds. She needed only a glance to record all information into her memory. Thanks to Feanor¡¯s help, she had begun with excellent which had led her to other more detailed books. History, culture, magic system, ¡ she hadn¡¯t neglected anything as each piece of information was valuable. The most important things to do after arriving in a new world was always to gather information. It had become routine for her. One hour was enough to record all the books she found interesting. Everything was now recorded in her memory, all she needed to do now was to analyse the data. Although, a mage could remember everything his or her senses perceived, not everyone found it useful. Indeed, recalling a specific memory became difficult as there was too much information inside the brain. Sometimes, it could even cause some mental problems. However, Abi was a special case, she came from Earth where magic was inexistent. A civilization devoid of magic had to find other ways to record its knowledge and the civilizations back on Earth were no exceptions. First, writing had been invented and then photography which both used paper as information medium. Videography came later which required the invention of magnetic tape capable of storing more information tan paper. It was especially in the modern era that humanity faced a revolution in data storage with the advent of computer. A single hard disk drive was enough to contain hundreds of thousands of digitalized books which was truly a miraculous achievement. However, each invention comes with its lot of problem. It was soon found out that information should not be stored randomly. The more structured data were, the better it was to retrieve the information afterward. Thus, information science had been created to deal with this problem ad as a high-level scientist, Abi had excellent knowledge in information science. Although, she currently possessed no computer, it was not a problem as she had her own brain. Within her mind, all the information from the books had been categorized by theme and stored inside memory files which were linked to each other. She had unexpectedly transformed her brain like a computer database with a well-defined structure and so that specific information could be retrieved quickly. Moreover, she had succeeded in isolating tiny parts of her mind so that they could perform preprogramed tasks. Those programs were handled by her subconscious mind to which she only needed to give simple orders. Now, she was retrieving the data about history. Thousands of memory files opened simultaneously before the information they possessed were analysed by some programs. Soon, a new appeared within her mind which synthetize resume Alta?a¡¯s history. All of that took time to describe but it happened in the blink of an eye. As Abi began to check the first part of the memory file, she got a litlle disappointed. It was the part about the most ancient era. She had the suspicion that there were no written records about that era and the information surely came from legends and myths. It was not reliable at all. The more she read about it the more it appeared like a fairy tale to her. It was probably all fantasies. According to the file, the Alta?an (inhabitant of Alta?a) had been created following a cataclysmic event during the primordial era. At those times, the multiverse had just been born and the primordials were the first living beings which had appeared. Those immortal beings were blessed by the heavens and were granted divine light which made their magic unparalleled under the heavens. Comparing them with modern mages was like comparing a microbe to a giant dinosaur, they were not of the same world. The primordials reigned supreme for many years and none of the lower life forms which had appeared after them possessed to qualification to challenge their dominance. The primordial era lasted billions of years but a calamity ended it abruptly. One day, the primordials faced an entity that they themselves couldn¡¯t defeat. This creature had appeared out of nowhere and was so strong that its strength defied the imagination. Although it didn¡¯t possess divine light, it had something else, something evil and more powerful. Chaos was his name and it spread darkness wherever it went. Chaos had the power to corrupt the minds of all living things. Even a primordial, the embodiment of divine light, was not immune to its corruption. He could turn a benevolent being into a bloodthirsty killer with only one thing in mind: to destroy. Aided by an army of corrupted, Chaos conquered the entire material realm of the multiverse and not even the primordials could stop him. The chaos era also lasted billions of years until the last of the primordials made the ultimate sacrifice to defeat Chaos. They burned their divine lights which created a terrifying spell, a spell powerful enough to seal Chaos forever. No one knew where he had been imprisoned but it was said that he was still alive somewhere. The primordials which had lost their divine lights were destined to die. They seeded the material realm with life planet after planet, galaxy after galaxy, until their last breath. Since then, the Alta?an whorshipped the primordials as their gods. The story made Abi snort within her mind. The mere idea of an entity capable of conquering the whole material realm rendered the whole story utterly ridiculous. How vast was the material realm? Someone with no knowledge of astronomy couldn¡¯t phantom the vastness of the physical universe. There were quadrillions (thousands of billions of billions) of stars with even more number of planets there. The dimension of the material plan was so enormous that the mind couldn¡¯t even imagine it. A single person had no way to conquer a space so vast even if given billions of years. It was just impossible. Shaking her head, Abi continued to read the memory file till she got something interesting. Apparently, true history records only appeared a million years ago on Alta?a. Once she read the file memory file till the end, she couldn¡¯t help but be worried. When she landed on this world, she had imagined it to be peaceful but she was wrong. According to the records and for millions of years, the Alta?an were haunted by the magical beasts. The four continents had been habited by Alta?ans in the beginning but because of the magical beasts, the habitants on the three other continents had been exterminated. The northern continent itself was not immune to danger ever. Not even 200 years ago, a magical beast horde had broken through the Mountain Spirit Kingdom frontiers before slaughtering their way to the royal capital. If not for courage of the noble families who had sacrificed many of their members to stop this horde, the Mountain Spirit Kingdom would have ceased to exist. Even now, some minor hordes attacked the frontiers every few years which required continuous extermination.Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. Abi hadn¡¯t suspect such hidden danger. She could die at any moment if she was not careful. After all, she was just at level 5. What would happen if magical beast attacked the academy. And that was not all, the neighbouring countries also constituted a serious danger for her life. If one looked at a map of the northern continent, one would see an enormous mountain range several thousand kilometres long. With a north-south orientation, the central mountain range separated the northern continent in nearly two equal parts. The Mountain Spirit Kingdom occupied a large part of the central mountain range. Although, there were not many agricultural lands within the mountains, it was rich in cultivation resources. Precious ores, rare herbs and an environment rich in ether had made the mountains a paradise for mages. Of course, the neighbouring countries would like to get a share of the pie as well. Unfortunately for them, the Spirit Mountain Kingdom was too difficult was not sharing. This caused permanent tension with the neighbouring countries which sometimes causes devastating wars, wars the Spirit Mountain Kingdom always won. It was not called Spirit Mountain Kingdom just for show, the term spirit was the key. Indeed, the central mountain range housed the totality of the spirit beast population of the entire northern continent and the Spirit Mountain Kingdom controlled a big part of their living areas. Only the scraps were left for the other countries and they couldn¡¯t do anything about it. A kingdom of spiritualists was just too difficult to deal with. The neighbouring countries could only curse the day when king Alexander had created this hateful country. Thousand years ago, Alexander lead a group of refugees to the central mountain range. They had come from different countries recently destroyed by magical beasts. These people were desperate and had lost all hope. Only their survival instinct was pushing them forward. From time to time, magical beast would attack which reduced their number continuously. Seeing that there was no hope, Alexander went deep within the mountains and made pacts with spirit beasts. He then became the first spiritualist in history. Afterward, he taught the refugees how to make a contract with a spirit beast. With their new sources of power, the refugees began to repel the magical beasts outside the central mountain range before establishing their own kingdom. Alexander was crowned king and his descendants ruled the Spirit Mountain Kingdom since then. The gold statue in the library hall had been created in honour of is courage. That made Abi¡¯s worries diminish a little. At least, she had landed in a powerful country. It was a kind of luck on one hand but on the other hand, the whole world was constantly in war for survival. Sooner or later, she would be embroiled in this never-ending war. But all of that didn¡¯t change her plan as her priority was the cultivate quickly. She must rise her cultivation level as quickly as possible. With [Renaissance of the phoenix] her cultivation speed should be insanely quick till level 10. Once at level 10, she would need to find cultivation resources to continue to cultivate. After dealing with history, Abi opened the files about magic. Countless information appeared within her mind which she began to synthetize. But in the end, she got nothing interesting. Their magic knowledge could be considered standard if compared to the other worlds she had visited in the past. There was nothing new to her apart the summoning magic. She was encountering this kind of magic for the first time. She had to master this magic, she thought as the Mountain Spirit Kingdom was a country of spiritualists. She recalled the battle of this morning and she had effectively witnessed Aerin and the twin¡¯s battle prowess increasing violently after summoning their spirit beasts. This could be useful, Abi thought. Even if she already possessed powerful spells in her arsenal, new ones were always welcome. She began to analyse all the data available about summoning magic. Soon, a new memory file appeared within her mind. According to it, summoning magic had a simple concept. Spirit beasts lived in the spirit realm, a dimension where the mind affected the world stronger than in the material plan. There, a single thought could create a mountain, could make you fly or even traverse millions of kilometres. Because of that, spirit beasts thirsted for a powerful mind which could only be obtained after gathering knowledges. The more knowledge you had, the more powerful your mind became. As creature born from nature, spirit beasts had naturally weak minds. However, they were gifted with incredible magic talents. Mages on the other hand, had poor magic talents but powerful minds. Among those two groups of individuals, one group possessed something the other group coveted. The base of summoning magic was to convince a spirit beast to make a contract with you. You could borrow its power and in exchange, you had to feed it with knowledge. It was a win-win scenario if the two parties could agree with each other. Unfortunately, a spirit beast was just like a wild animal driven mainly by its own instinct. It would attack anyone on sight to devour one¡¯s mind. If one was not careful enough, one would literally lose one¡¯s mind and become a mental degenerate. The only way to make a contract with a spirit beast was then to force it to accept the contract by force and that could only be done in the spirit realm. The first thing a newbie spiritualist must do is to send his soul to the spirit realm, find a suitable spirit beast, and make it yield by force. As Abi continued to analyse the data, something suddenly caught her attention, a certain part about the spirit plan. From her current understanding, the multiverse was composed of several realms superimposed on each other with each realm possessing its own characteristic. The material realm was the largest of all of them which made it the most populated plan. Abi also knew the existence of other realms although she had never gone there. However, it was the first time she heard the existence of the spirit realm and she found its characteristics extremely interesting. Apparently, the spirit realm had the same size as the material realm. Moreover, a link existed between each location in the spirit realm and only one location in the material realm. The best part was that the spirit realm was not a physical dimension but a spiritual one which meant one could do things considered impossible in the material realm, for example teleportation over unlimited distances. Of course, one could teleport through in the material realm as well but it was limited in range. No mage could boast being capable of teleporting between two planets of the same star system even if it was possible via dimensional portals. But even portals had limits as they allowed one to cross several light years at best. However, the spiritualists had apparently solved this problem by travelling through the spirit realm. Like that they could cross considerable distance from their homeworld. Even if they couldn¡¯t send their physical bodies, such capacity was game-changing for Abi which explained her excitement. The main reason she had taken such high risks to access the causality realm was that she didn¡¯t know the exact coordinate of Earth. But if she could travel through the spirit realm as far as she wanted, she could maybe pinpoint Earth direction via divination. With enough luck, it could really work. Abi didn¡¯t know how many distance she would have to cross or how much time she would need to spend but she thought it was worth it. Although the plan sounds crazy it was better than to go to the causality realm again as it was too dangerous. Abi was really excited and extremely satisfied. She had arrived in Alta?a for only three days and a quick trip to the library had already help her a lot. She had a new plan now, a plan to find Earth which improved her mood greatly. Had she not been inside a library she would have shouted ¡°Yes!¡± outloud. She was eager to go to the spirit realm but after some thoughts, she realised she had a problem. She had not enough contribution points. Chapter 7 : Looking for contribution points Abi hurried to a teleporter which was the only way to get to the spirit realm. She had not been so excited for a long time. Although, she displayed a calm expression on the surface, deep down her heart was beating fast. How many years had it been since she had left home? She had not the exact count but she felt that it was so long ago. Even if she suspected that everyone she knew was probably dead already, it didn¡¯t lower her feeling that Earth was still her home. She wanted to go back home and this desire was the only driving force of her life. Right now, she had maybe found the key to return to Earth. It didn¡¯t take her long to find a teleporter. It was a stone monolith entirely black which surface was covered with magic symbols. There were hundreds of teleporters spread over the entire academy. They constituted a convenient means of transport, allowing anyone to travel to distant lands in the blink of an eye. When Abi arrived beside the teleporter, she laid a hand on its surface which began to glow faintly. A screen appeared in her mind, displaying a set of destination. After studying the screen, she withdrew her hand and frowned. ¡°Damn! Where the hell could I find one thousand contribution points? I have only ten in my account right now.¡± She thought with frustration. Although, she recalled that traveling in the spirit realm would cost a lot, she would never imagined it would be so expensive. Growling, she took a road which lead her toward the guild association. If one wanted to earn many contribution points, there was nothing better than missions given by the guilds. The guild association gathered the missions given by all of its members and displayed them in guild association building. After entering the door, Abi didn¡¯t waste time and walked immediately towards the golden wall. It was named golden because of the countless symbols covered it. Each symbol represented a specific mission any student could choose. Many people were flocking near the wall and she had to jostle a few to make her way. Soon after, she sensed that someone or something was scanning her with divine sense. After the divine sense withdrew, she saw some of the symbols covering the wall lighting up which caused a screen to pop up in her mind. The screen was displaying more than twenty missions but one counted the symbols of the wall, twenty was just a tiny fraction of them. Abi read the screen till the end and cursed inwardly. Those missions were worthless! They all had one thing in common and it was to gather herbs. Herb gathering was the easiest type of mission given by the guilds. Of course, as they were easy, the rewards were pitifully low. The highest was 20 contribution points for gathering hundred stalks of moon eater grass. If she relied on missions like that, it would take forever to gather 1000 contribution points. She was now sure that the wall had scanned her with divine sense previously do determine her cultivation level. It had afterward given her the only missions she was qualified to take. One should not underestimate the herb gathering missions as those herbs were located in dangerous areas. As a level-5 mage, she was barely qualified to gather herbs. ¡°Shitty wall!¡± Abi could only curse inwardly. She stepped out of the guild association and headed towards the only solution she had left, the battle arena. It resembled a roman coliseum but several times bigger and with a large dome covering it. It was entirely made with brown volcanic rock. Human statues decorated its outline at regular interval which only added to its splendour. Abi didn¡¯t pay attention to the architecture though as she was too frustrated. She needed a huge amount of contribution points but her cultivation level had become an obstacle. Hence, she could only fight in the battle arena. Mages loved to fight, some of them could even be considered as battle maniacs. However, it was forbidden to fight in the academy area and the battle arena was the only place where fighting was authorized. That made it the most famous building in the entire academy. If one wanted to sharpen one¡¯s magic, one had to fight someone stronger than oneself. The battle arena was the place where students could issue challenge against one another. However, Abi was more interested with the competitions the academy organized there regularly. Most of the time, the winner would be rewarded with contribution points. After entering the building, she crossed a large crowded room. All of those students were overexcited and were discussing feverously. ¡°Who do you think you will win this time? I heard that Jeremia is the favourite.¡± A burly man was asking his friend. ¡°Hmm... Jeremia is strong, true; he is ranked 587 while Nolan is ranked 640. But Nolan should be the winner. Don¡¯t forget his last fight; he was on the verge of reaching level 11. Jeremia will have difficulty to beat him.¡± His friend said. ¡°It¡¯s not necessarily true. Maybe Nolan had a higher cultivation level but Jeremia is a noble. Those bastards always possess better spells. They should be evenly matched. But I will bet on Nolan.¡± The burly man countered. He was determined to bet 20 contribution points on Nolan but wanted to hear his friend¡¯s opinion first. Abi retracted her gaze before pursing her lips. For her, who was stronger and who was weaker was pure nonsense. One¡¯s battle power was mainly determined one¡¯s spell set which could be terribly effective again an opponent and completely useless against another one. According to her experience earned through countless life and death battle, Abi had arrived at a conclusion. Victory was sure to be attained through overwhelming speed and overwhelming force. Be fast so that the enemy had no time to react and be strong so that the enemy¡¯s defences couldn¡¯t stop you. Apparently, those youngsters hadn¡¯t comprehended that yet. They had even created a ranking among themselves to identify who was stronger than whom. Abi explored the battle arena, searching for a competition to participate in. Her exploration lead her in front of red wooden door which she opened without hesitation. She crossed the door which opened into a circular room twenty meters wide. Dozens of stone columns circled the room and supported the ceiling. The latter was decorated with magnificent frescos describing a ferocious battle between Alta?ans and magical beasts. The stone walls were equally decorated with stone carvings which were so lifelike that they made one feel nervous. The magical beasts carved on the walls were looking fierce and threatening. It was as if they thirsted for blood. The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation. A young man was sitting in the middle of the room, wearing a bored expression. His legs were placed on the desk in front of him as he was watching a screen hovering in mid-air. Although, he sensed that someone was coming, he didn¡¯t even bother to look at the newcomer before talking. ¡°Registration will end in 5 minutes. You better hurry up if you want to participate.¡± He was too bored to bother with a latecomer and preferred to watch a fight on his screen. The fight was not very good as the opponents were fighting like weaklings which explained his boredoom. It was so boring that he young man wanted to enter the screen and beat them up. If only he had a subscription to the national league. As a poor third-year student, he couldn¡¯t afford it. He sighed dejectedly as he thought that this job was worthless. He would have preferred to take a mission in the mountain range but he didn¡¯t have enough contribution points to exchange for equipment. Thus, he had volunteered for this worthless job and would have never done if it did not pay so much. Guarding the entrance of the blood arena was not a very exciting job. As he was still lost in thought, the latecomer arrived in front of his desk. He paused the fight reluctantly and yawned. The moment he lifted his gaze upward, he froze. He almost choked and lost his nonchalant air. How could he not be surprised? This was not some random girls. As the only daughter of the Lightning Clan younger generation, she was extremely famous. Although, she had a poor reputation, few people had the guts to treat her too badly. And the young man was no exception. He calmed down after a moment before wondering what business Abiga?l Lightning had with the battle arena. How can the number one trash in the Royal Academy of Magic be here? She had never done anything in here before. He knew it because all that happened here was recorded and available for public consultation. Someone as famous as Abi would have attracted a lot of attention. If she was in this specific room, it meant she wanted to go to the blood arena which was a ridiculous thought. With her strength, she wouldn¡¯t last ten seconds. The young man was truly puzzled and froze there, lost in thought. After a long time, he finally began talking. ¡°Are you sure you want to register?¡± He asked suspiciously. ¡°Yes, I¡¯m sure.¡± Abi nodded, understanding what he was intending to tell. A normal level 5 mage had no place in the blood arena. The battle arena was divided into several individual arenas with different entrances. Some were more difficult than others and the blood arena was one of the most difficult. ¡°Hum ¡¡± The young man frowned while touching his screen. After quick manipulations, he said. ¡°Sorry, you¡¯re not qualified to enter. You can pass if you are ranked 1000 or lower. But right now, your rank is just 5000.¡± He wore a false apologetic expression while saying this. However, it was difficult to conceal the hint of disdain in his eyes. He thought that the world was unfair. With his talent, he could be considered as a genius among geniuses but he had still struggled to get a spot in the academy. Abi, though, had reached the same goal using her background. How could he feel happy about it? Abi¡¯s expression remained calm but she was furious inside. This time she was not blocked because of her low cultivation level but because of her ranking. Apparently, your rank determined your qualification to enter certain arena and as one of the most difficult arena, the requirement for the blood arena was severe. Being ranked at 5000 meant that she was at the bottom of the first-year ranking as only 5000 students entered the academy each year. It was a shame. Nor caring about the ranking didn¡¯t mean she liked to be ranked so low. Back on Earth, she had been one of the best young researchers of her field of study. She had even earned several prestigious awards. After leaving Earth she hadn¡¯t take long to become one of the most powerful mage in existence. How could she bear to be at the end of any ranking? It was a complete heresy! She had to do something about this ranking later. She suspected that she couldn¡¯t earn many contribution points if her rank was too low. Right now, though, she absolutely needed to enter the blood arena. Winning there would bring her hundred contribution points. Somehow, she must convince the bastard to let her pass. ¡°Are you sure we can¡¯t find a common ground? If you let me enter ¡ I can pay you with contribution points after I win. I¡¯ll give you half of my gain. What do you say?¡± Abi began to negotiate but she was aware that her deal was difficult to accept. However, she had no other option as she had nothing with which bribe him. And she would never force someone to do what they didn¡¯t want to do, it was bad for her karma. Of course, the guy didn¡¯t budge. How could he believe her? According to her aura, she was just level 5. She would be slaughtered in the blood arena. She had no chance to win the competition. The young man sneered inwardly while displaying a neutral expression on his face. ¡°He He. Sorry Miss Abiga?l but you are not qualified. If I let you enter, you wouldn¡¯t survive ten seconds. It is best if you train several years before coming back.¡± His last sentence was meant make her understand how weak she was. ¡°What a pity. She is so beautiful but had zero talent. What a waste. Her place is not in the academy at all.¡± His thoughts were not flattering for Abi. Only the strong were respected and the weak were despised. He thought that her only talent was her beauty. She was nearly 1,90 m tall, almost as tall as him. Her silhouette was flawless as well as her face. Her golden hair was flickering because of the ambient light which an incredible sight. The young man had the impression that he was facing a goddess from the celestial realm. The best part of her was her chest which made him gulped a mouthful of saliva. Those breasts were massive! They were so big that her dress was struggling to stop them for escaping.. His gaze didn¡¯t remain unnoticed as Abi was watching him the whole time. When she saw his greedy eyes on her chest, she suddenly got an idea. It was the kind of idea a daughter of a high noble clan would never think about. However, there were just few minutes before the start of the competition and she had no time to waste. In her rational mind, everything was simple. She wanted to find Earth but she needed to explore the spirit realm for that. Exploring the spirit realm required contribution points which she could only obtain quickly through the blood arena. Thus, she must enter the blood arena, no matter the cost. It seemed that she had to use underhanded methods to get what she wanted. Abi approached the young man decisively and, before he could react, sat down quickly on his laps. The movement caught him off guard and startled him so much that he froze on the spot. As Abi was wearing a light dress with a fine fabric, all her perfect curves could be seen. The dress had also two large slits on each side which ended only at the level of her hips. That let her legs entirely free to wander around. She took advantage of that to encircle him with her long legs. Trapped and amazed, he didn¡¯t utter a single sound as she leaned forward and whispered in his ears. ¡°They are big, aren¡¯t they? If you let me pass, I¡¯ll let you play with them for a few moments.¡± She said while embracing him and kissing his neck which finally woke him up. Chapter 8 : Purple flame ¡°Wait ¡ what are you doing¡ wait.¡± The young man stuttered incoherently. He tried to stand up but Abi¡¯s legs were like iron bars strapping him on his own chair and he feared that he might harm her if he forced too hard. ¡°Don¡¯t think too much. You will never have this chance again.¡± She said. The young man¡¯s stuttering stopped when she began to kiss him savagely, their mouths entangled in a passionate embrace. His brain almost exploded. Abi grabbed his hair before slamming his head onto her chest while whispering. ¡°So, what do you think? Deal or not?¡± ¡°Deal!!!¡± He shouted while quickly extending a hand towards his screen. After some manipulation, he was sure that no one would see what he was going to do. Abi smiled before kissing him even harder. She didn¡¯t notice that the guy had become abnormally hot which was caused by a sweet fragrance emitted by her. This fragrance made his blood boil. His mind was buzzing and he began to lose control of his will. As Abi was warming him, the poor guy couldn¡¯t endure it anymore. The strange fragrance was acting like a drug. Had he been not affected, he would have never dreamt to touch a single hair of Abi. But now? He had no problem with kissing her like he was her lover. As for Abi, she was laughing inwardly. Guys were still guys, whether on Earth or at the other end of the universe. Nothing was impossible as long as one had the right assets. She was going to let him enjoy her for a while before leaving. After all, she had made a promise and all promises must be kept. She didn¡¯t want to get a karmic debt for not keeping a promise. Fortunately, she had just promised him to play with her chest and nothing more. It was worth it as long as she got to the blood arena. The young man was not aware of her thoughts as he tore off the top of her dress, revealing his prize. The sight made him shiver with excitement. In his disturbed mind, the two big mounds were like too twin suns glowing brightly in the darkness. He had only one thing in mind right now and it was to reach those suns. He took them in his hands and began to press them like lemons. Their textures were wonderful, large but softer than sponge. He didn¡¯t resist the urge to suck them with all his might. An entire minute passed like that and the room was filled with Abi¡¯s moaning. She was breathing hard as the guy was too focused on his task. His mouth was like a suction cup glued to her breasts. He particularly loved to lick her tits which made her feel like being struck by lightning. She decided that it was enough. It was at this moment that something unexpected happened. The man¡¯s body shook violently and trembled. All his muscles bulged and almost doubled in volume. They became so big that his clothes couldn¡¯t contain him anymore and exploded. Numerous blood vessels could be seen all over his body as his eyes became crimson red, filled with madness. Abi became flabbergasted as she wondered what the hell was going on. The lean young man earlier had become Hulk but without the green skin. She wondered if she had enraged him somehow but dismissed the thought after a quick thinking. Of course, he was not Hulk as this was not a movie, this was the real life. As she had the intuition that something bad was going to happen, she tried to get away from him. Unfortunately, he was faster. He grabbed her firmly with his thick hands before tearing her dress. Soon, she was entirely naked like him. ¡°Wow ¡ What are you doing?¡± She said but it was not difficult to guess what he was trying to do. She could sense his huge sex pressing against her buttocks. She struggled to break free but to no avail. The young man¡¯s hands were stronger than steel. She was definitely in trouble but she didn¡¯t panic. Although, the guy appeared menacing, she hadn¡¯t sense any killing intent from him. Apparently, all he wanted to do was to fuck her. It seemed that her clever plan had backfired. She activated her [Divine Eyes], trying to discover what was going on with him. Meanwhile, the latter stood up abruptly, one of his hands blocking Abi¡¯s legs behind him and the other grabbing her buttocks in front of him. Afterward, he thrusted his sex inside hers unceremoniously. It was as if her inside was melting and Abi could only emit a loud moan. She had been pierced by an enormous stick, a hot and pleasant stick. It was not only long but also very thick. It filled her inside entirely. Her mind wavered as her body acted on its own. She moved her hips, following the man¡¯s movements. The last time she had sex with a humanoid was a long time ago. As she had crossed the universe, fleeing for her life, she had stolen numerous kinds of bodies along the way. One day she was a giant dragon, the next month she was a fire elemental. She had even gotten the body of an asteroid before. Yes, a living giant rock. How could it be alive was a mystery even for her. The fact was that she had not had sex for years now and was acting like a drug addict. As the time passed, it was becoming harder and harder to think rationally. She had to find a way to stop him without harming him but she needed to use her eye-power for that. The young man wouldn¡¯t let her focus long enough to discover the root of the problem. After who know how long, she got a moment of lucidity. Her throat was burning as she had screamed too much. She discovered that she was suddenly being pressed against a wall. The young man was spreading her legs wide with his iron grip before inserting his sex again. Abi groaned and her eyes rolled upward. He was beginning to nail her against the wall. She could only endure while doing her utmost to maintain [Divine Eyes] activated. She thought that, in his state, he would never let her go willingly. It took her a long time to figure out the cause of his transformation. It was a tiny purple flame, burning fiercely near his heart. A bigger purple flame was also burning near her heart but it seemed that the young man¡¯s flame was reacting to hers. It was as if his flame wanted to leave him to join Abi¡¯s flame. It was causing unexpected consequences, making him go berserk. After identifying the problem, Abi only needed a split second to find a solution, and it was urgent to end this joke. Moaning endlessly was taking a toll on her stamina. She couldn¡¯t sense her legs anymore as her sex was stimulated too strongly. It was as if her brain was directly wired to her vagina and she couldn¡¯t sense anything else.Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences. At one time, her mind blanked completely. She was having an intense orgasm and all her body shivered uncontrollably. She could only wait for it to pass. After getting a moment of lucidity again, she witnessed an embarrassing sight. She was on all fours on the ground with the young man behind her, his two hands holding her hips like steel clamps, and his eyes were glowing with purple light. He was treating her like a dog as he was coming inside and outside of her. His big and hard stick was driving her crazy. She had to end this before her mind blanked again. After making some hand seals with her right hand, she reached behind her and grabbed one of his arms. She began to absorb his mana with [Renaissance of the Phoenix] which could absorb any foreign energy before converting it for the benefit of the user. Not only could this cultivation technique help absorb the ether faster, it could even help absorb the mana of living beings. Abi was using this ability to drain the young man¡¯s mana which contained the purple flame. She had already manipulated her own purple flame so that it couldn¡¯t interact with him anymore. However, she still had to extract his purple flame. Otherwise, he would never revert to his former self. The seconds passed and it seemed that [Renaissance of the Phoenix] was working fine. The guy was transforming back to normal. His muscles were flattening and his eyes were losing their crimson colour. His movements became less and less powerful even though he still made Abi feel tortured with pleasure. In the end, all his movements ceased as his eyes recovered their clarity. The first thing he felt was a deep puzzlement. He was kneeling behind a naked girl he didn¡¯t know. Looking downward, he noticed that his thing was deeply imbedded inside her. The last thing he remembered was that he was talking to someone. He didn¡¯t know what the hell happened afterward but now, he was fucking a girl who was on all fours in front of him, panting hard. Her jade-like skin felt like fine silk and her long golden hair possessed an otherworldly luster. Her body was perfect, like it came out of the mind of a master painter. Mesmerized, he leaned forward while caressing her skin with his two hands. He began with her buttocks and went upward till he reached her shoulders where he went down and grabbed her breasts. The softness made him gulp a mouthful of saliva. But his mood changed when the girl suddenly turned towards him. His expression became one of pure terror when he discovered who she was. ¡°Gods! How is that possible?!¡± His mind was like struck by lightning. He remembered now. He had been talking to this same girl earlier and something strange happened to him. All the memories of the past minutes appeared in his mind and he shivered. She was Abigail Lightning, the daughter of lord Izra?l of the Lightning clan, one the cruellest general of the Spirit Mountain Kingdom. And he had fucked the daughter of this dangerous old monster. Moreover, this same daughter was officially betrothed to the third prince, a royal blood! The young man suddenly wanted to run away. Could they find him if he hid in the mountain range? Of course, they would. They would track him till the deepest part of the infernal realm after they discovered what he had done. His sex lost its vigor after he came out of her. His heart was beating hard and he had a sudden urge to vomit. Few people could understand the gravity of his problem. In the Spirit Mountain Kingdom, powerful clan were like gods. If they wanted him dead, he would be dead for sure. They would surely exterminate his entire family. He walked backward step by step before sitting on his chair, his face filled with despair. As for Abi, she had dropped on the floor, out of breath. She had the impression of having run a marathon. Her body was that of a 16 years old teen with low stamina. She had to let her heart calm down before thinking about doing anything else. Later, she had recovered enough to stand up although, she still felt like her vagina was filled of molten lava. Once standing, she inhaled deeply while pondering what occurred earlier. As it had never happened in the past, she was sure it had something to do with her new body. With her special vision, she had seen the young man¡¯s purple flame being drained by her technique. It had crossed her meridians before joining the flame near her heart, making it bigger. She remembered that at one point, her body had trembled slightly when it had reached level six. The purple flame had obviously helped her advance her cultivation level quickly. It was not all. Because her own flame had become bigger, her meridians had taken a purple tint which was new to Abi. As far as she remembered, meridians were always colourless, like transparent glass. But now, the glass was slightly tinted. She wondered what kind of ability her new meridians would unlock. As for the young man, he seemed to be fine even when he had lost his flame. This clearly needed a thorough investigation and she added this to her list of objectives. A new source of power was always welcome. But she had no time to think about it for the moment. Her priority was to get to the blood arena. She headed towards the desperate young man who was acting like he would be sentenced to death very soon. He didn¡¯t know that it was not in Abi¡¯s interest to denounce him. Moreover, she had not passed a bad time. After landing a hand on his shoulder, she said with a gentle voice. ¡°It¡¯s best for you and me if we forget everything that happened. It¡¯s our little secret. I hope I will never hear a rumour about it.¡± Her sweet voice snapped him out of his reverie. He looked at her and processed what she had just said. She said she wanted to forget everything? Did it mean she wouldn¡¯t denounce him? He couldn¡¯t believe it but she seemed sincere. Her smile was like that of an angel, incapable of lying. A vague of relief suddenly invaded him. ¡°What¡¯s your name anyway? Mine is Abi. Nice to meet you.¡± She extended a hand to greet him. He took the hand even if it was strange to greet one another after their sex party. ¡°I¡¯m Kerion.¡± He couldn¡¯t say anything else as he was still feeling dizzy from the shock. ¡°Kerion ¡ Hmm ¡ A good name.¡± She said. ¡°Help me enter the blood arena. The competition had already begun.¡± Kerion nodded vigorously. Of course, he would do it. He was even ready to eat her shit if she asked him to do so. He was satisfied as long as she didn¡¯t denounce him to her father or her fianc¨¦. Kerion hurried in front of the working screen and touched some controls. When he finished, a bright light illuminated the room. A dimensional portal appeared which resembled a multi-coloured spinning vortex. It was leading to the blood arena, the place where a ferocious competition was surely occurring right now. Having finished his task, he wanted to say something but Abi was already heading towards the portal. She had gotten a new dress after cleaning herself thoroughly. Before crossing the portal, she turned back and said. ¡°Remember, not word about what happened to anyone.¡± And she disappeared with a flash of light. Kerion exhaled deeply. He felt that he had narrowly escaped death. After realizing that he was still naked, he reached for his interspatial ring for new clothes. Once dressed, he sat down on his boring chair waiting for the time to pass. Sometimes though, he would think about a pair of big melons, silky buttocks and savage kisses. He sighed and dismissed those dangerous thoughts which could lead him towards his death.
