 Prologue

    Once there was nothing. The world was barren and hot. Volcanoes ruled and caves formed. After an eternity of outbursts, a single plant sprouted out of the hard rock. It grew in a day, bearing life. One single fruit grew, and opened up. Out flew five magical beings, who helped the world grow. One called herself Flora. She made the dirt, and helped more plants grow and sprout.Another called himself Fauna, and created animals, to help rule the earth. Then came Terra, who shaped the Earth and created seas. Magia, the oldest, created magic, to keep peace in the world. Avarum, the youngest, was jealous of his siblings'' powers and grew greedy. Out of anger and jealousy, he put greed into the earth. The animals turned against each other, the seas crashed and sprayed, and magic was forgotten. The others knew nothing of this and assumed Earth was a bad environment for their powers. They left Earth and left Avarum behind to rule alone. Taking advantage of this, he gave the animals intelligience. After centuries, the animals who had barely avoided the power of greed banded together, attacking Avarum and sealing him away, deep inside the earth. So has he stayed for thousands of years, never has the greed stopped. Most of the animals evolved and formed clans, but the magical animals who avoid the greed fight back, spying on their clan to give the information to the leader of the SPS, Magus.A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

 Something foxy

    ''Dang it!'' Vala yelled as she let the mouse escape. ''Every time!'' Someone was watching her, she knew. She always knew, but she had to be careful. If the others found out how skilled she was, they might think she was trying to let her prey escape. Well, she was, but her camp members can''t find out. She ran after the mouse, and tried to ignore its screams. Don''t worry, I won''t let you get hurt, but I can''t tell you. I''m sorry, she thought. She eventually led it to a hiding place and looked for a different prey. After chasing several prey like this, she sat down and waited for her follower to slip up. After ten minutes she grew tired of waiting and startedon the road to her camp. ''Wait.'' a voice echoed through the forest. Vala recognised it. Unlike any of the foxes, This voice was cold as stone. ''Who''s there?'' Vala said, even though she already knew the answer. ''I have been watching you, Vala. I know your secret.'' Vala grinned. ''If you don''t come down, I guess I''ll have to destroy your camp!'' The voice turned into a warm, hearty laugh. ''Come on down, Nelo.'' Vala said, being careful not to be to loud. If her camp found out she sas friends with an ocelot, she would be dead by morning. The ocelot jumped down from the branch, not making a sound as he hit the ground. ''What''s the news?'' Vala asked. ''Magus wants another meeting.'' Nelo answered. ''This time on the Moonlight planes, in exactly one moon.'' ''Ok, I''ll be there. I don''t know what I''ll tell camp, but I''ll come.'' ''Great! see you soon!'' Nelo said. ''Ya know, it''s kinda sad that i only see you for work. Wanna, maybe, I don''t know-'' ''I have a boyfriend, Nelo. You know that.'' ''Sigh. I know.'' Said he. ''Now leave,'' Vala said, ''I''m not the only one getting murdered if they see you.'' Nelo smiled an empty smile. He was good at acting. ''Au revoir!'' Nelo said. ''Goodbye, Nelo.''
