《The mysterious forest》 The forest behind the old house Mark was on his way to his parents'' house. His mother and father had died in a car crash recently. They had lived in that house for 25 years. Mark regretted moving out. If only he had stayed for 2 more weeks, he would have more time to spend with them. But that time was gone now. Mark got out of his car. In front of him stood a little cottage. His mother''s orchids were still in their pots. A few of them had wilted. There was a cobweb hanging of his father''s rocking chair. A tear slid down Mark''s face as he remembered his mother teaching him to water the flowers. His father on his rocking chair, sipping his coffee.Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. Mark decided to walk around. Explore the little area. The cottage was built on a hill. The nearest neighbours were at least half a mile away. Mark''s parents always thought neighbours were noisy and annoying. No surprise they bought this house to live in. Mark stopped on his tracks, seeing a forest bellow the hill. "Strange, I don''t remember seeing that. I''ve only gone for two weeks. Surely I can still remember that forest if it was there." Mark thought to himself. He decided to go in to the forest. He soon saw something that made him gasp in awe. Elf palace An elf was standing by the stream. Her long blonde hair touching her waist, her blue eyes fixed at the unicorn drinking by the stream. Mark felt a searing pain at the back of his head and he knew nothing more. Mark woke and saw a wooden ceiling. He rushed out of the leaf bed he was lying on and found out that he was in a wooden cell. If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation. "Awake?" asked a voice as sweet as honey from outside the cell. " If you are thinking of escaping, don''t even try. The whole palace is filed with elf guards and anything that would be useful for escaping has been removed. The elf with the voice stepped out, allowing Mark to see her. "You!" "What about me?" "You are the elf at the stream" "Yes, I am. The king has scheduled for you to meet with him tomorrow." Mark gulped. He decided to treasure that day for it might have been his last. Or at least that''s what Mark thought.
