《Inter Dimensional Time Travelers》 Act 1 | Movement 1

[Scene: Three boys are sitting at a parking lot in front of a convenience store. Each boy seems to be in their teens and wearing clothing that seems to cover up their bodies well. It seems to be reasonably late at night as it is dark and there are no other people around. It also has seemed to rain a bit so the pavement shines bright despite being so dark, as if it was black coffee. The only reasonable light source seems to be coming from the supermarket as it is resonating a dozen yards behind.] Boy 1: ¡°So what¡¯s your choice?¡± Boy 2: ¡°I never said I wasn¡¯t going to do it. I just said wait a few minutes.¡± Boy 1: ¡°Fuck you mean wait a few minutes? We can only be here so long. People¡¯ll get suspicious.¡± Boy 3 takes something out of the front pouch of his sweater. It is seems to be gun that is all black. He begins to point it in the air as if he is about to shoot something. As the gun is held up in the same angle, with closer inspection from the viewer it seems that the tip has been painted on the account that the shade of the tip doesn¡¯t match the rest of the gun. Boy 1: ¡°Bitch did you just hear what I said!?¡± Boy 1 immediately smacks Boy 3¡¯s arm down resulting in him lowering his gun. Boy 2 begins laughing.Boy 1 then faces toward him. Boy 1: ¡°This isn¡¯t fucking funny. Ya¡¯ll fucking everything up. We just do as we planned, go in there, hold ¡¯em up, get the money. Okay.¡± All three boys immediately walk toward the grocery store as Boy 1 leads. [Scene: Inside the convenience store it is very quiet. The only clerk, a girl who doesn¡¯t seem to be much older than the boys, is standing and hunched over the counter reading something on her tablet. The entire grocery store seems to be well organized and spotless giving the indication that it has been a slow shift.] The three boys enter the convenience store without so much as glancing at the clerk. They begin browsing the store as they take various products of shelves such as chips, soda, and alcohol. Things seem random but they really aren¡¯t. Each boy is scouting the area inspecting the surroundings. Despite their tough persona it is clear they are inexperienced. They take too long scouting an obvious small store and act too conspicuous. While walking through the store Boy 3 opens up a small bag of potato chips and begins eating. The clerk looks up from her tablet and shakes her head in disapproval. She then goes back focusing on her tablet. Boy 1 then turns his head toward Boy 2, they seem to have a moment of understanding. Boy 1 then walks toward the counter toward the clerk with his hands in the pouch of his sweatshirt. Boy 1: ¡°Is that a Galaxy S?¡± The clerk looks up at the boy. Clerk: ¡°Yes.¡± The clerk goes back to focusing on her iPad. Boy 1: ¡°How much it cost?¡± Clerk: ¡°I¡¯m not sure. I got it for my birthday.¡± Boy 1: ¡°Oh. Let me have it?¡± The clerk looks back up at the boy. Boy 1: ¡°I said let me have it.¡± Boy 1 takes a gun out of his front pouch. The clerk proceeds to drop her tablet in a manner that she nearly throws it on to Boy 1. She puts her hands up in the air and has a very frightened face. Boy 1 grabs the tablet and put his arm behind his back. Boy 1: ¡°Someone take this!¡± Boy 2 walks up to Boy 1 and grabs the tablet. Boy 3 stands in the same position seemingly staring off into space as he looks out the convenience store¡¯s window. Boy 1: ¡°The money. Now¡bitch.¡± The clerk opens up the cash register as she is clearly trying to downplay her panic. Boy 1 and Boy 3 both look at one another. Smiling and letting out a chuckle over how cool it was to say the word ¡°bitch¡±. Boy 3 now feeling more comfortable than before holds his gun up to the clerk as well. Boy 2 is still staring out the window when he notices lights approaching. A few seconds pass as the clerk is tensely putting money on the counter. It is now apparent that the car is pulling into the convenience store¡¯s parking lot. Boy 2 immediately begins banging on a shelf to his side and points to the car. Boy 2: ¡°Car car! We gotta go!¡± Boys 2 and 3 immediately run outside. Boy 1 proceed to punch the clerk in the face knocking her out cold and taking not only all the money set out on the counter, but as much as he could grab in register in one scoop as well. He then runs outside to join the others. Not long after he runs out of frame, a man walks out of his car and toward the store bewildered at witnessing three boys storming out of the building so quickly. [Scene: The three boys are now traveling through the suburbs as they cut through the backyards of connecting houses. It is still very dark to the point that it is difficult to make out their faces. Few lights are on in the houses as it is the middle of the night. There is little activity going on throughout the neighborhood. The only signs of life are coming from the delinquent trio as they proudly gloat about their recent accomplishment.] Boy 1: ¡°I can¡¯t be ya¡¯ll dumbass motherfuckers wanted to walk on the side of the road.¡± Boy 3: ¡°Well we wouldn¡¯t be lost¡¡± Boy 1: ¡°But we¡¯d be in fucking cuffs right now. I don¡¯t know what ya¡¯ll do if I wasn¡¯t here.¡± Boy 3: ¡°Shit I¡¯d be fine. I would take all the money from that bitch myself. I¡¯d put my gun in her mouth and scare the shit outta her.¡± Boy 2 laughs. Boy 1: ¡°Man you stupid, shut up.¡± Boy 2: ¡°I don¡¯t recall you being so confident Trevor. You didn¡¯t bother taking your gun out until it was almost over.¡± Trevor: ¡°I was just waiting for the right time.¡± Both Boys 1 and 2 begin laughing Boy 1: ¡°You waited ¡¯til she was already handing me the money, how the fucks that the ¡®right time¡¯?¡± Trevor: ¡°Because it was.¡± Boy 1: ¡°You so stupid.¡± Boy 2 then briefly stops as he becomes eccentric and points ahead. Boy 2: ¡°Hey there¡¯s the lake!¡± All three boys immediately start sprinting toward the lake. [Scene: The boys keep charging on until they reach what seems to be a small facility. It consists of three wide brick houses and a large building. In between each house is a small road that on one side leads to the large building and on the other can be seen to stretch all the way to a main road that is located some distance away. The area seems to be very spacious as green grass surrounds it all for around two whole acres. On one side of the houses spawned a little forest-like area filled with poorly maintained trees and on the other was a lake to which the boys seemed to have been following to reach this destination. It is dark outside as there only seems to be few lights on in the buildings. The boys walked up the concrete steps to one of the houses and begin to open up a small window.] Trevor pulls on the small window. Trevor: ¡°It¡¯s locked.¡± Boy 1: ¡°Fuck. Let¡¯s go try my room.¡± Boy 2: ¡°That already means they know we¡¯re here.¡± Boy 1 begins walking to the next window over. Boy 1: ¡°We¡¯ll just tell them that we were in the closet or under the bed to screw with them when they opened our doors. Fuck they probably don¡¯t notice. Overnights are lazy as hell. They never check our rooms, they just sit all day.¡± Boy 1 presses his fingertips against the side of the edge of the inner window frame and begins pulling. Boy 1: ¡°They just got lucky tonight.¡± Boy 1 tries to open the window. He becomes frustrated when it doesn¡¯t open so he begins to try so more violently. While doing so I shadow figure can be seen briefly in the window by the front door. It then soon disappears. Boy 2: ¡°Pulling on it harder won¡¯t change anything.¡± Boy 1: ¡°And standing around not doing shit won¡¯t do shit neither. Open your window instead of playing with your dick.¡± Boy 2: ¡°Fuck you Terrell.¡± Boy 2 begins walking on the other side of the building. Terrell: ¡°You lucky that I¡¯m busy with this shit or else I¡¯d beat your ass.¡± Terrell continues to try and open up his window. Trevor stands there and stares at him hoping that he will eventually pull hard enough that it will open. Meanwhile, Boy 2 continues walking to the other side of the building toward a small window which seems to be his room. He attempts open up his window with two or three tugs. Unsurprisingly his window is locked as well. Boy 2: ¡°Of course.¡± He stands for a moment until he notices that not only is his room¡¯s door is open, but so is the door across the hall. He looks through the window of that room and notices a large figure coming down the road. He walks to the edge of the building and looks down the road. It turns out to be a car. It takes him a second to put the pieces together that he realizes that it is a cop car. Boy 2: ¡°Shit!¡± Boy 2 begins to run toward the small forest. It didn¡¯t take long for his companions to notice the car approaching them as he could hear loud curse words coming from a distance as well as the sound of grass crunching. [Scene: Boy 2 is now inside the forest. It is very dark, practically pitch black. The forest is filled with trees, mounds of dirt, and dead leaves on the ground. There are no signs of life inside the forest.] Boy 2 keeps running ahead not bothering to look back. He keeps running and running as the only sound that could be heard are the leaves being stomped on and his own breath. He keeps running until he comes across a crevice a few feet deep and falls in. He is down for a few moments. As he recuperates himself he notices a bright blue light coming from above. He pushes himself back to further sink himself into the ground. He begins to hear the sound of communication radio in the distance. The light gets closer and closer as does the sound of the radio. Eventually the light reaches to the horizon of the crevice. Just when he thinks he is about to be discovered, a bright ball of light drops from the top and into the middle of the crevice. Boy 2 stares at it for a moment and then begins to crawl toward it. As he looks closer to the ball of light he sees it glimmering like a diamond in the sun. He quickly determines that the object is valuable puts it in the pocket of his jeans. He pulls himself up from the crevice and begins walking briskly in an accelerating pace. [Scene: Boy 2 finds himself emerging from the forest into park. Complete with slides, swing sets, and picnic tables. Unlike the previous two locations this place is very well lit with dated yellow street lights illuminating the area. There seems to be signs of life as squirrels and other small critters are about, however there are no people present. To the left the park extends until the subdivision is near, to the right there is the main road that connects to the parking lot in front of him.] Boy 2 looks around to make sure the coast is clear. When he confirms this he lets out a sigh of reassure and begins jogging toward the subdivision. He jogs for a few moments completely undisturbed. Suddenly the roar of a car engine is heard. He turns around and he sees blindingly lights shining toward him. He knows what it is, it is a police car. Boy 2 begins sprinting as fast as he can. It does no good as the police car zooms past him. As the car quickly stops Boy 2 runs back into the forest. But he doesn¡¯t make it far into the forest until he begins to collapses. He feels weak, weaker than he should be. Boy 2 then notices that light is illuminating around him. He looks down and sees his front pocket. It looked as if he had a high wattage flashlight in it. Boy 2 recalls the unique diamond-like object he picked up before. He gets ready to throw the light far into the distance but proceeds to stop. He stares at the object in his hand. Deciding to not part with its worth he decides to swallow it. As he swallows it he begins to cough and pounds his chest. A moment later it seems that the object fell through his stomach, however Boy 2 continues to cough. Unexpectedly he is then tackled to the ground by a shadowy figure and put into handcuffs. Boy 2: ¡°Get the fuck off me! Fuck off me! Get the fuck off me!¡± The officer proceed to drag Boy 2 out of the forest while Boy 2 keeps kicking and screaming like an infant. The officer drags him all the way to the squad car where he picks the boy up and slams him against the door. The officer forces Boy 2¡¯s hands up on the hood of the car and kicks his legs to the side. The officer begins patting Boy 2 down in an attempt to search him. The officer pulls out the, unbeknownst to him, fake gun from Boy 2¡¯s hoodie pouch. Boy 2 lets out a sigh. Officer: ¡°What the fuck is this?¡± The officer spins Boy 2 around so he can face him. The officer holds the gun in front of Boy 2¡¯s face. Officer: ¡°What the fuck is this? Huh?¡ You mean to tell me that you were out there an hour after robbing that store¡ assaulting that girl¡and you didn¡¯t remember to discard your gun? Even after you saw us approach the House, even after having being chased by me and running back in the woods you still did not throw away the gun.¡± Boy 2 continues to stare at the ground. Officer: ¡°You little shits get dumber and dumber by the bunch.¡± Boy 2: ¡°Fuck you!¡± The officer proceeds to sweep his feet to kick up Boy 2¡¯s legs. Boy 2 proceeds to fall on his back hard. The officer then takes his radio out. Officer: ¡°I have custody of the final runner. We¡¯re currently at the park, about forty feet from the entrance.¡± Officer on Radio: ¡°Loud and clear. Take him back to the station with the rest of the animals.¡± Seemingly relieved that the hunt for the suspects is over, the officer pulls out a cigarette from his pocket. He puts it in his mouth and lights it. Officer: ¡°Congratulations, you just pissed away twenty years of your life.¡± As Boy 2 begins to accept his fate, he sees a shadow figure far off in the distance approaching. Officer: ¡°All our hard working tax paying dollars go straight to little shits like you. Time and time again we had to keep coming for you only so that you can get another chance.¡± Boy 2 is hardly paying any attention to the Officer, he keep focusing on the shadowy figure that keeps getting closer and closer by the second. Officer: ¡°But the end is always the same. You always fuck it up. They always say that you can¡¯t polish a turd.¡± The officer takes notice that Boy 2¡¯s attention is not on him, but something in the distance. The officer turns around and is greeted by the figure that is walking toward him two dozen feet away. As the officer begins to open his mouth and reach for his holster, the figure quickly throws something at him. It seemed to be some type of throwing knife. It cuts the officer¡¯s neck as he falls to the ground. His blood runs through the ground like a river. Despite witnessing a death right in front of him, Boy 2¡¯s focus doesn¡¯t stray from the figure in front of him. As it draws closer it¡¯s appearance becomes clearer. What immediately stands out is that it is wearing some type of mask. It looks like theatrical comedy and tragedy mask. The mask is white and looks as if it was carved from a smooth and fine material. It has a stern expression. The second trait that stood out was that this person has four working arms. This obviously spooked Boy 2. It was difficult to get any other information on who this mysterious person was as they were clothed head to toe, albeit in very odd clothing. The mysterious person proceeds to walk up to Boy 2 and kicks the carcass of the police officer away. They then kneel one leg down and crouch in front of Boy 2. Boy 2 doesn¡¯t respond as he seems to be in a state of shock. The mask begins to change shape and turn into a joyous expression. The stranger then strikes Boy 2 and he becomes unconscious. [Scene: A pure black screen.] After eight seconds a voice is heard. It is very muffled and difficult to understand. Other voices can be heard as well. They sound muffled to and the only thing differentiating them from one another is the tone of the voices. The voices then slowly grow distant.¡A few seconds later the boy wakes up with his eyes wide open. [Scene: The boy wakes up on a peculiarly soft bed. The most striking feature of the room he is in is that it is pure white. However every few seconds or so the room begins to turn yellow. The room is filled with nothing but a bed, not even a door is present.] The boy sits up and indulges his surroundings. He begins to stand up and walk to inspect the area when he is suddenly stopped by a tugging in his leg. He looks down and sees that he is chained to his bed. [Scene: The room begins to turn to a shade of purple] The boy begins to violently pull the chain around his leg. He proceeds to pull and pull but despite that the chain doesn¡¯t budge, even the bed doesn¡¯t budge. The boy turns around to see a very strange creatures. It seems to be a dog-like creature in a pure silky black body. However, the dog didn¡¯t have a face, at least in a traditional sense, but more so has a face covered with dozens of long worm-like creatures. [Scene: The room begins to turn into an even deeper shade of purple] The boy begins rapidly pulling at the chain with all his might, leaning his body back at a near ninety degree angle. Despite all his efforts nothing seems to move. He quickly turns behind him to find that the horrifying creature is now gone. He frantically looks around the room and doesn¡¯t see it. Suddenly he hears a door open in the distance. He spins his head and from two dozen feet away he sees a the white frame of a door. He begins to see a shadowy figure approach him. The figure looks sorta of like a human figure wearing a large veil of some kind. The boy is visibly taken aback. You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story. Veiled Figure (female voice with Gypsy accent): ¡°You seem to have built up a great deal of fear. Please, I assure you there is nothing to be afraid of.¡± The boy stares at the figure bewildered. Veiled Figure: ¡°We just have some questions that need answering. I assure that no harm will come to you.¡± The boy continues to stare at the figure not saying a word. His breathing intensifies signalling his discomfort. The veiled figure seems to put their hand on their chest and shake their head. Veiled Figure: ¡°This will not work. No no no. This will not work.¡± ¡ ¡°Calm yourself. Then find me.¡± The veiled figure turns around and walks toward the door of light she came in from. Her silhouette gradually disappears. The boy stays frozen in thought for a moment. He then begins to come together. Boy: ¡°Wait!¡± He proceeds to lunge forward without thought and falls flat on his face. However this wasn¡¯t due to a pullback, but more so due to him putting too much force in his lunge. He turns around and sees that his chain has been cut. He seems surprised for a brief moment and then picks himself up and runs out of the room. [Scene: The door seems to be at the end of a hallway. The walls and ceiling are covered in some type of plasma material. A web of stretched colored lights surround them as as specs of white light flow through them. The whole area looks like an aquarium for a light show. The hallway continues down until an ebony colored ramp appears at the end about thirty feet away. Doors are found at each end of the hallway every six feet or so. There are ten in total, not including the one the boy just exited. Observing the door the boy just came out of, the doors seems to be clear as a window from the outside, but like a mirror inside. The rooms are all filled with nothing but white.] The boy is both enamored and frightened by this exuberant architecture. He slowly walks toward the end of the hallway as he observes the plain yet extraordinary scenery around him. As he gets to the ebony ramp he finds out that it quickly begins to spiral up very harshly. He walks around the staircase like spiral for what seems like no more than ten feet. When he reaches the top he pauses and stares in shock. [Scene: The boy stands in what seems to be a social lobby. Couches are spread throughout the area in a casual manner. Holograms displaying a variety of images are set in front of them as if they were televisions. Rounded floating tables and chairs are also in the area for what seems to be for casual eating. The floor has some type of liquid solution that covers it about an inch high. The walls, ceiling, and floor is covered by some type of illuminating white tissue. It seems if one looks closely the tissue all connect to a silky large object in the middle of the room. It constantly expands and contracts just like a beating heart. Three figures are present in the room. One is the masked man the boy saw before he woke up in this strange place. He seems to be eating some type of food which he is enjoying, the mouth of his mask opens and closes as he takes a bite of his cuisine. In the other corner sits another creature that is huddling over himself like a monk. With closer observation the creature is indeed undergoing some kind of ritual. It is difficult to get a good sight of his features since he his slouched over. In the center of the room, right in front of the large heart-like object, is the ¡°veiled¡± woman. The ¡°woman¡± is really just another strange creature like the others. While she is wearing a dress and necklace, she has long sort of tailfin coming out from the back of her head. Her skin is purple which is deeper on her ¡°fin¡± than on her face. Her hands have no fingers just two end fins that act as if one were to connect the palm of their hands together. In other words they are made for clasping objects, kind of like a crab claw.] Fin-headed Woman: ¡°I¡¯m surprised you can stand. Let alone walk in your ¡®condition¡¯.¡± The boy is at a complete loss of words. He is shell shocked at the bizarre scenery around him. Fin-headed Woman: ¡°I don¡¯t cross with formalities. Something of ours is missing and you were the last person who could have laid eyes on it.¡± The boy¡¯s expression doesn¡¯t change. He is still so overwhelmed by his current situation. Seemingly growing impatient, the fin-headed woman stares at the boy then gently nods her head. From above the boy a figure that looks like the previous worm cluster-faced strings down the ceiling like goo. It opens a mouth and engulfs the boy. As it brings itself back up, it seems to thin out its ¡°skin¡± as the boy falls through upside down. Parts of his body, mostly his legs, arms, and torso, are wrapped around strands of the creature like chains. It seems that whatever this organism is made of, it has the composition of Play-Doh.The strange creature continues to head back to the ceiling as the ¡°chains¡± around the boy tighten. The boy begins frantically screaming as he sways back and forth as pendulum upside, just like an insect recently caught in a spider¡¯s web. The fin-headed woman approaches the boy and covers his mouth with her ¡°hand¡±. Fin-headed Woman: ¡°Shh¡One more time. One more time I will ask you for your cooperation. I must warn you, if you aren¡¯t willing to cooperate then you will soon have to deal with someone who is less cooperative than you are¡Now, once again, you came across a foreign object no? Where is it?¡± The boy moves his eyes toward the floor. It seems that he is beginning to understand the situation he is in. Observing him it is easy to tell he is too afraid to tell his captors the truth. Most likely due to them possibly resorting to unnatural measures to retrieve their desired object. Seeing that the boy isn¡¯t going to respond, the fin-headed woman walks down a staircase on the other side of the room. The boy continues dangling in the air as he looks around. He notices that the other patron¡¯s take no notice to him. The mask man is still eating food and the other is still hunched over performing a ritual. However, the creature that has the boy in the bind is an exception. While it doesn¡¯t have any eyes, the ¡°worms¡± on its ¡°face¡± seem to be angled right at him. Footsteps can now be heard as a figure enters from the staircase across the way. It seems to be walking in a brisk and constant pace toward the boy. He soon makes out the figure to be some type of canine-like creature. It had short fur and tail like a monkey. However, its face was uniquely ¡°flat¡± much like a human. The figure is dressed in a flashy outfit which while may seem strange at first, still has some sort of prestige behind it.. As soon as the boy could finally make out the figure, he immediately sees a flash and feels a strong pain. The creature punched him directly in the face, and so again¡multiple times. Prestigious Creature: ¡°Do not waste my time! Where is the piece!¡± Despite speaking the punches didn¡¯t wane. Syllable after syllable was met with a blow. At each blow the boy was pushed back, as if he was a lightly weighed punching bag. ¡°I know you know where it is. You saw it, you took it. Where is the piece!¡± The end of the sentence was met with one large final blow. The ruthless captor gave the human boy a moment to speak. Unfortunately he was too dazed and too much in pain to gather so much as a thought. Continuing to grow even more impatient the high rank being walks up to the boy and opens his mouth. ¡°If you don¡¯t begin to move this thing and start telling me what I want to hear, I be sure to have you never be able to do so again.¡± The boy is silent as he still dazed and confused from the onslaught of abuse and the awe of the situation he is currently in. His captor puts one hand on his jaw, grabbing his bottom teeth, while the other grabs the top row as the palm rests on his nose. ¡°One¡two¡¡± Fin-headed Woman: ¡°Captain!¡± The sadistic creature turns her head, with her hands still in place in the boy¡¯s mouth. ¡°I fear to interrupt you during this process, but a situation has arise.¡± The captain pauses for a bit, then takes her hands out of the boy¡¯s mouth. She walks to toward the door toward the end of the room and exits. A dripping sound can be heard coming from the floor. It turns out that blood is running along from the boy¡¯s face. He looks bewildered as he still finds it difficult to process the situation he is in. Suddenly, he is dropped to the ground. He looks up to find the elastic creature that was previously holding him is gone. He tries his best to stand up, his legs shake as he is disoriented from his previous blows. He then falls to the ground. After a few seconds of recuperating, he begins to crawl to the nearest point of slight elevation. It turns out there is a bench a few feet away. He pushes himself up to be on his knees and then proceeds to embrace the bench. After this brief moment of rest, he pushes his body up and twists himself around so he is able to sit down. He looks around and sees that nothing has changed, the beings around him act as if he isn¡¯t even there, as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened at at all. Suddenly a ringing sound occurs and an intercom goes off. Intercom: ¡°We are now under code Blue. Please act accordingly.¡± Suddenly all of the creatures around the area stand up and immediately move toward a designated area. Intercom: ¡°Once again, we are now under code Blue. Please act accordingly.¡± Just then the entire room shakes violently. As he lifts his head up a big blast can be heard that shakes the room with such force the he is pushed off the bench. As he pushes himself up with his hands and knees the same ringing sound occurs and the intercom goes off again. Intercom: ¡°Warning, we are now under code Green. Please act accordingly.¡± The intercom repeats the message. The boy hugs a wall as he struggles to pick himself up. This time he succeeds. The room continues to shake as he slides himself across the wall to the nearest door. The door opens and he enters the hallway. While walking down it, there is another violent shake that pushes him to the other wall across. The boy lets out a cry of pain. He quickly recuperates himself and presses onward. He soon sees a door at the end of the hallway. When he reaches it he tries to open it up, but fails. Suddenly another huge shock occurs as the room shakes violently. The boy falls to the floor. As he lays on the floor, he sees flashes of lights under the door directly to this side. He picks himself up, and opens the door. He gasps as he is greeted at the site of over a thousand stars. He hurries toward them, or at least moves as fast as he can and eventually hugs a window. He doesn¡¯t even bother observing the room around him. All of his focus is on the stars, and his realization that he is currently in space. Unbeknownst to him, the elastic worm faced creature is gradually lowering from a ceiling like a spider descending from its web. As it gets closer, its bottom half morphs into a sword as it pulls itself back for a swing. In an instant, a giant fist covers the window and it lets out a devastating impact, the boy is once again flown through the air and lands back on the hallway wall extremely hard as he screams out in pain. Boy: ¡°Fucking fuck!¡± The boy is sitting in the hallway floor with his back against the wall. He attempts to compose himself from the intense pain coming from his back. It is then that a figure grabs him. It turns out it is the same masked man he encountered before. As he drags him across the floor with his foot, the boy does his best to break free as he kicks and screams just like an infant. Boy: ¡°Let me go! Let me the fuck go!¡± It is no use as the not only is the masked man not bothered by the kicks that are delivered, he doesn¡¯t even bother to respond. This angers the boy even more. He proceeds to spit directly on the mask man as his saliva lands directly on the back of his head. Despite this, there is no response from him. The boy breaths heavily for a few seconds and then begins clawing at the ground. The mask man drags him back into the lobby and proceeds to go through the doors everyone else entered earlier. As they go through the doors they come to a quick halt. They begin moving on what feels like an elevator. As they move up they can see outside, however, few stars can be seen as a giant humanoid creature is blocking the way as it covers most of the view of space. This sight is enough to stop the boy¡¯s tantrum. He stares at the goliath in horror as it braces to punch the ship. The first seems to be about collide with the ship, but suddenly the ship rapidly moves dodging the attack. As the giant creature attempts to do another attack, a door opens. [Scene: A blue lit room with a unique organ-like figure hovers the ceiling. The figure pulsates and leaves fragments of light when it expands which seem to leave its tissue and flair into the air when it contracts. It is these fragments that light up the room. A piece of the organs tissue is stretched out and encompasses one of the creature¡¯s heads. The creature¡¯s body is dangling a few feet from the air. Looking closer at it¡¯s neck, it seems to be the same member of the group who was kneeling over in the lobby performing a ritual. The ceiling is covered with goo and thick wiring that could be mistaken for veins. The room itself is quite large, about fifty feet long and twenty feet wide. The only pieces of furniture in the room are three chairs. Each of them elevated from the ground at different levels. The highest one, about seven feet high, located in the middle, is where the captain is seated. To its right is another seat that is a foot lower, which is where the fin-headed woman is seated. And to the left of her is a seat that is two feet lower than the captain¡¯s. Strangely it is empty.] Captain: ¡°I initially planned to resolve our conflict earlier, but unfortunately complications have occurred.¡± The boy now puts his focus solely on the captain. He notices that her eyes are locked on to him. Captain: ¡°Now, I will give you one more chance. I don¡¯t do this often, but we are currently in a special predicament. Do you know where the cocoon is?¡± The boy remains silent, and in a few seconds tears start pouring down his cheeks. He realizes that either way he is dead. If tells them the truth, they will certainly kill him in order to receive their item. If he plays dumb then they will kill him for not cooperating. Realizing that he is dead no matter what choice he chooses, he decides to withhold from giving an answer. At least that way he can keep the ¡°cocoon¡± from them as a last ¡°fuck you¡± to the world. A moment has passed and the captain¡¯s eyes are no longer locked at the boy, but now look at the masked man who is standing behind him. He bends down and puts his index and middle finger together and grazes it around the boy¡¯s torso. He searches for something, but not for long, he stops right above the boy¡¯s heart. As he does this, the boy is far too frightened to fight back, it seems that he has accepted his fate. The two fingers move apart as the man briefly pulls his arm back. Suddenly, the room shakes like the previous ones. It appears that the giant beast outside has struck the ship again. The impact manages to move the boy a few feet away from his previous state. He looks to his side and sees a throwing knife stuck in the ground, realizing that it was meant for his heart. He breaths a sigh of relief, until he notices something. In his chest, right where his heart is, is a throwing knife. He soon feels the immense pain. He begins to cry out. After a few seconds he stops, not because he is dead, but because of the lack of pain. Captain: ¡°I thought you aimed at his heart?¡± Masked Man: ¡°My sincere apologies mad¡¯am.¡± The masked man bows. ¡°It has now come to my attention that these beings perhaps have more than one heart.¡± Captain: ¡°Well, find it.¡± Masked Man: ¡°Yes ma¡¯dam, time is of the essence.¡± The masked man grabs the boy and pull him up. He once again runs his finger through his chest, and stops at the same place as before. Confused, he continues running his fingers all over the boy¡¯s body. However, he looks disappointed as his face makes a concerning expression. He then grabs the knife sticking out of the boy¡¯s heart and begins carving his chest. The boy lets out an agonizing scream as his chest is cut open. The masked man looks through the newly crafted hole and is immediately taken aback. The boy manages to catch a glimpse of the wound, and is also shocked. Not only is there light illuminating from inside the wound, but the wound appears to be healing itself. Captain: ¡°What is going on?¡± Masked Man: ¡° It seems mad¡¯am that it has made the gentlemen¡¯s body its domain.¡± Captain: ¡°It?¡± The captain is confused, and her eyes move toward the boy. A few seconds later she gasps and her eyes spring wide open. She proceeds to jump out of her seat and walks toward the boy. She grabs him and pushes his back against the wall. He immediately tenses up. She puts her hand over the boy¡¯s heart. After a moment she puts her hand down and shakes her head. Captain: ¡°So that¡¯s how it is.¡± Suddenly, the entire room shakes extremely violently, lunging everyone toward the wall the boy and Captain are beside. Back where the elevator was is now the immense fist of the previously seen giant. As the boy recuperates he notices that everyone around him immediately jumps up and gets in a defensive stance. An immensely loud scream is heard throughout the room as if it came from a colossus. The boy ends up covering his ears, but it doesn¡¯t seem to surprise the crew members. Captain: ¡°Get ready!¡± A few seconds pass, and then a wave of blurs shoot out of the Giant¡¯s fist as if bullets were launched through Jello. Each ¡°blur¡± attempts to strike a crew member. It becomes obvious that what leap out of the massive body part are enemy combatants of some sort. Miraculously the masked man, fin-headed woman, and the captain are not only able to dodge the attacks, but are able to retaliate as well. The captain, dodges the initial attack against her and immediately punches her opponent in the face and then kicks them to the wall. The masked man hops up dodging his opponent¡¯s attacks and then quickly places knifes in between each of his fingers on both hands. Defying gravity, he lunges toward his opponent and performs a variety of slicing and dicing attacks as if his hands had claws. Strangely the fin-headed woman doesn¡¯t seem to do anything, she allows the attacker to charge right to her. Fortunately the attacker mysteriously seems to crash into some sort of invisible wall right in front of her. The only member of the crew who seems truly vulnerable is the one who is dangling in the air, attached to the strange organism on the ceiling. One of the enemies have taken notice to this and leaps toward the dangling member, suddenly a giant black mouth appears out of nowhere and swallows the combatant. It lands on the floor and it turns out to be the strange elastic creature with a worm-like face. The boy finally realizes that this is his chance to escape. He begins hugging the wall and walking toward the stairway. Only making it a few feet, he sees an axe slam right in front of him. He look toward his side and sees the worm faced creature growling at him. It seems that it turned its ¡°tail¡± into an axe. It then leaps away and back into the action. A few seconds later he hears the sound of a high impact coming from outside. He hears one loud pound after another. The giant fist is then pushed out of the hole. Through the gap is the is the image of the space behemoth being pushed toward space. Captain: ¡°From behind!¡± Suddenly the wall directly across the previous one is penetrated. A huge tail runs right through it and into the other wall. It soon stops and more enemies hop through the ¡°skin¡±. They immediately are put on the defense by the crew. Due to this, the boy gets a better look at this ship¡¯s invaders. They are all dressed in some type of white uniform. The garb can be said to be both traditional as well as futuristic. The attire looks like nothing that has been seen from human eyes. The boy notices that the crew begins to tire, during their fighting he can also hear pounding coming from the outside and the ship shaking violently. While the crew definitely manages to get their blows in, the same could be said for their opponents. The crew begins to become bruised and bloody, and while it is difficult to tell whether or not the opponents are as well, it is clear they are slowing down. Suddenly the captain manages to get the upper hand on her opponent and defeats him. Captain: ¡°Do it now Dark!¡± Without hesitation, the worm faced creature proceeds to extend multiple arms grabbing all of the crew, including the boy. It also begins stretching out across all four corners throughout the room. He essentially makes his elastic body a texture of the walls. His ¡°skin¡± then begins to quickly expand and fill up what is remaining of the room. It¡¯s as if black is rapidly bleeding from the walls. Everyone in the room quickly become encompassed by the creature¡¯s ¡°skin¡±. While the crew is relatively comfortable with this happening, the enemies and the boy are panicking. Soon the boy finds himself inside the creature¡¯s ¡°body¡±. Once inside, it feels rather¡warm. He has his eyes open and can see perfectly. The entire area seems to have a purple tint, but he can see none the less. He looks around and sees the crew members with rather joyful expressions, with the captain in particular laughing. He notices that each of them still have the creature¡¯s ¡°arm¡± wrapped around their waist. The boy looks down and notices the same ¡°arm¡± is wrapped around his waist as well. He soon notices the invaders who stormed the ship and catches them screaming in pain. Their bodies begin to disintegrate. In the distance he even sees the behemoth¡¯s large tail begin to decompose as well. After a moment or two, all the opponents and the tail are now invisible. The purple tint begins to fade away as the ¡°skin¡± subsides. The arms subside as well. The boy looks around sees all the crew in one piece. Although the worm faced creature has bubbles along its body. A loud roar can be heard from the distance. The boy runs up to the sound and stops at the edge of the floor where one of the walls used to be. He has a complete view to the surroundings in front of him. He sees the previous goliath broken in multiple pieces. Captain: ¡°You stupid, stupid, stupid boy.¡± He looks back and sees the captain walking toward him at a quick pace. He begins to step back and then falls off the room. He begins to fall rapidly as if he jumped from a tower, but in a few seconds he starts to float as if he was in¡space. Despite being in space, he is able to breathe easy. He looks around and comes face to face with the ship. Strangely, the ¡°ship¡± doesn¡¯t look like any kind of spaceship he¡¯s seen in the movies. For starters it doesn¡¯t have a metallic texture, but something more akin to human skin. The boy is taken back when he sees the texture radically change to become bright white and incredibly smooth. He then look around a bit more and notices that what is looking at is in fact a giant eye. He begins to scream at the top of his lungs, then suddenly something wraps around him. He is pulled right back into the ship, at the same spot he accidentally fell from. He sees the entire crew huddled around him. Thinking of it, he quickly realizes that he must have been grabbed by the worm faced creature again. It seems that the crew gives him a moment to compose himself, the captain then inches herself closer. Captain: ¡°You know, when I saw that your people had at least a basic concept of civilization and technology, I at least suspected that would accompany some type of intelligence. I expect the type of creatures that would inject themselves with a rock to be the same ones living in caves and flinging their own shit. Not people who had the knowledge to harness and distribute such a large amount of energy.¡± The captain kneels down toward the boy. Captain: ¡°No, that¡¯s not it. You must be a special kind of stupid aren¡¯t you? Well, let me put this into terms that even you can understand. You see, I have a sister. A very obnoxious, pain in the ass, almost dumb as you sister. She is unfortunately going through a phase right now. The less that is said about her the better. Essentially she is currently very far away from here at a place that was likely a very long time ago. This is because she managed to take or convince some objects to accompany her that allowed her to go to this particular place. Me and my crew have for sometime been traveling to not only find her, but to retrieve some of the objects she stole. And one of those objects, the ones that allowed her to go very far away, very long ago, is currently inside your body.¡± After hearing the last sentence, the boy feels a chill run down his spine. Captain: ¡°I don¡¯t believe any of us have properly introduced ourselves. Well, let me tell you our names. The strange black stretchy creature who grabbed you, calls himself ¡®Dark Prince¡¯. The one who¡¯s face looks like a mask calls himself Alistur. The female who greeted you when you were woken up, her name is Enya. The male who is currently become ¡°one¡± with this vessel, his name is Shaska. As for me, most here simply call me ¡®captain¡¯. There is also my sister, but you will know her name soon enough.¡± The boy looks around the room as he tries to pin the names to the faces. Captain:: ¡°Now, can you tell me your name?¡± Boy: ¡°Devonte.¡± The captain smiles and extends out her hand as gesture to pull Devonte up. Davonte grabs her hand, and a second later the Captain pulls out a knife from her other hand and slashes Devonte¡¯s arm. Act 1 | Movement 2 [Scene: Black screen.] [Scene: Black screen with white text that reads ¡°Prologue¡± and a couple of seconds the letters fade away] [Scene: A first person view a blue sky accompanied by a bright sun.] Nearby voice: ¡°Come on! Come on! You gotta see this shit!¡± [Scene: The frame changes to become a bit more open. There are two beings that are on top of what seems to be either a pile of leaves or feathers. The one that is talking, is very small at only about three feet or so. They are about as big as a large stuffed animal. It even has sorta of skin texture like a stuffed animal, complete with even stitches and bead-like eyes. It has wild dreads for hair, a small beak like mouth, and a zig-zag shaped tail. The other character in frame is strikingly similar to the Captain. The only difference is that she seems younger and are dressed in much less glamorous and prestigious clothing.] Young looking Captain: ¡°You do realize I was napping Zizi.¡± Zizi: ¡°Fuck nap, you gotta come see this.¡± Zizi gestures his hand for his companion to follow him. Yet they still just lay there. Young looking Captain: ¡°I was dreaming too. It was a good dream.¡± Zizi: ¡°You¡¯ll be dreaming about this shit, I guarantee it.¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°I dreamt that I was somewhere far away, getting comfortable, without any cares any problems.¡± Zizi: ¡°You should care about this!¡± Zizi runs over to the drowsy creature and grabs her hand. He begins tugging and gesturing her to follow him. She complies and gradually gets herself up. She is led just a few feet away until she reaches the edge of site. It seems that they are up on an extremely steep cliff. Zizi proceeds to grab the edge and drops down. Zizi: ¡°It¡¯s right here.¡± The young female follows, she gets on her stomach and pushes her body forward to bend over. An underside belly is revealed that is also covered in feathers. There are also legs with talons and a tail that connects to the underbelly. It becomes clear that they are both on top of some kind of bird. However, there is also a large piece of the body covering the scene that one cannot quite see. The camera zooms out and it appears to be a large erected penis. Zizi begins laughing uncontrollably. Zizi: ¡°Look at that cut! It¡¯s all tagged out for everyone to see! He doesn¡¯t give a fuck!¡± The young female seems irritated. Despite this Zizi cannot stop pointing and laughing at the large organ. Young looking Captain: ¡°You woke me up because of this!?¡± The scene is zoomed out and it appears that they are flying over a large city. However, it doesn¡¯t seem to be like any normal large city. For starters the city is mostly carved in on the mountain scape in a jungle. Each building is decorated flamboyantly, painted in bright colors, with gauche design. Whenever possible the buildings seem to be spherical in shape rather than rectangular. While there are some roads within the city, it is clear that the main method of transportation seems to be by these huge bird-type creatures the two characters are riding. As the camera pans through the city, it became obvious that every citizen is at least part of this greater ¡°bird¡± family. Some stand on two legs while others stand on four. Some are as large as a house while others only stand a few feet high. Some are as long as bus while others have measure more vertically than horizontally. Some have a spikes on their backs while others have horns. It becomes obvious that whatever these creatures are, they seem to be descendents of dinosaurs. They are all dressed in comfortable attire, not too different than how the Romans used to dress, as they all have little more clothing than a robe on. The city is populated with markets, merchants, concert halls, churches, and most notably large statues. Zizi: ¡°Oh quit whining. We are almost there anyway.¡± The flying ¡°bird¡± begins to descend onto a large open square. Citizens are walking around peacefully doing errands and interacting with one another. They completely ignore the giant fowl landing beside them. Once on ground, Zizi jumps off of the ¡°bird¡± immediately. In contrast, the female companion slumps over as if she is just getting out of bed. When she lands on the ground she didn¡¯t seem to properly brace for the shock of impact so she needs a second to recuperate herself. Once she is well focused, she begins to walk through the square with Zizi. Transportation ¡°Bird¡±: ¡°Hey!¡± The young looking Captain and Zizi turn around too see the ¡°bird¡± trying to get their attention. Transportation ¡°Bird¡±: ¡°I realize you two aren¡¯t from around here, but like any place you need to pay people for their services.¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°How much do you want?¡± Transportation ¡°Bird¡±: ¡°From the distance I travelled I¡¯d say¡385.¡± The young looking Captain pulls out a large bag of coins from her pocket. She begins counting them. After some seconds, she drops the coins back in the bag. Young looking Captain: ¡°Here.¡± The young looking Captain throws the bag toward the transportation ¡°bird¡± overhanded. The large bag hits directly at the center tip of the ¡°bird¡¯s¡± erected penis. Unsurprisingly, he lets out an extremely loud cry as his legs bend inwards. Zizi begins falling on the ground pointing and laughing, while the young looking Captain turns around and presses forward. Young looking Captain: ¡°You can keep the change.¡± After a few second Zizi gets up and follows his partner. The duo continues walking down the path. Zizi strolls down the road without a care in the world. The young looking Captain seems to have her face pinned on a piece of paper. The two get a lot of funny stares from onlookers, but it doesn¡¯t seem to faze them in the slightest. Zizi: ¡°Why so preoccupied?¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°These descriptions are shit. It¡¯s like they were written as riddles.¡± Zizi looks interested. Young looking Captain: ¡°Okay, let me give you an example. ¡®On the red field painted venue-¡¯¡± Zizi: ¡°What the fuck?¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°¡®there is a peculiar object that faces the solar system¡¯s star. Follow it to the towering spiral, then scale up the proceeding vantage point.¡¯¡± Zizi: ¡°¡¡¡what the fuck?¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°Exactly. It¡¯s like duder¡¯s trying to make shit obtuse for no reason.¡± Just then, the young looking Captain feels something entering her front pocket. She immediately grabs it and has her hands claw over a wrist. She looks besides her and sees the sight of a terrified teenage looking citizen dressed in a blue toga with a blue hood on top. She begins to smile. Young looking Captain: ¡°Ahh such hospitality! Do you see this Zizi? Here we are lost travellers and one of the locals is kind enough to aid us.¡± Zizi: ¡°Truly an upstanding gentleman if I¡¯ve ever seen one.¡± The thief begins to panic, he proceeds to punch the young looking Captain with his other hand, straight in her face. Despite the clear power behind the punch, she seems completely unfazed. Her smile quickly becomes a frown. Young looking Captain: ¡°You people sure have odd customs.¡± The young looking Captain proceeds to punch the thief, knocking him back a couple feet into a wall. Being that this is occurring at a busy road, there are many concerned and even horrified onlookers. She then proceeds to walk up toward the thief. Young looking Captain: ¡°I hope that was the proper way to execute the greeting. Maybe I should try again?¡± The thief looks terrified as he attempts to shuffle backwards, but remains stationary being that he is up against a wall. The young looking Captain kneels down to him. Young looking Captain: ¡°Tell ya what. If you help us find where we are looking for, I¡¯ll let you off the hook. What do ya say?¡± The thief, clearly still in pain from the blow, nods his head in fear. The young looking Captain then jumps up and claps her hands together as she smiles. Young looking Captain: ¡°Wonderful! We are looking for a venue that is painted red, like¡a field¡a red field. Get what I¡¯m saying?¡± The thief nods his head up and down in a frenzy. Young looking Captain: ¡°Well, do you know where I can find such venue?¡± The thief lifts up his arm and points to his left side. The young looking Captain proceeds to grab his hand. She pulls on it to stand him up and then pulls him past her. She then turns around and kicks his lower back. He turns around to see she her giving a serious stare to him. He then begins to lead her and Zizi along the road. [Scene: The trio is walking along what seems to be a marketplace. Vendors surround the area with little shops and carts. The road they travel on seems to cut right through a mountain and shops all seem to be carved throughout the side. The carts are less organized as they are positioned in any open area throughout the road. Vendors sell things such as food (which mostly consists of different types of fruit and fish), jewelry, clothing, and works of art. The entire area is covered in a sea of people as they are busy shopping, talking, and browsing the area. They all seem to be focused on what they are doing and are paying little attention to the thief and his two captors. There is little light illuminating throughout the marketplace as the mountain covers all light except an opening crevices on top. However, the carts as well as the shops are lit up by giant firefly-like creatures kept in glass jars.] Zizi: ¡°Your people have so much stuff to sell and it¡¯s all shit.¡± Zizi walks up to a market stand and grabs a circular piece of clothing with two big holes in it. Zizi: ¡°Like this hat. Why is it so ugly! And why is would anyone wear this when it¡¯s so hot!¡± Zizi puts the hat over his head, as it is so large on him that it covers his entire body as his head goes through one of the holes. The thief seems a bit distressed as he turns his head toward Zizi. Thief: ¡°That ain¡¯t a hat. That¡¯s underwear.¡± Zizi looks startled at first, then he looks down at his ¡°outfit¡± and looks back up with a more joyous expression. He then strikes a pose. Zizi: ¡°I rock this shit better than ya¡¯ll rock your ¡®proper¡¯ clothes.¡± Zizi puts his hands hands to his side and begins to wiggle his hips. Young looking Captain: ¡°Zizi! Can you stop questioning your sexuality and focus for a bit!¡± As Zizi jumps down from the counter, leaving the clothing behind, the young looking captain continues following the thief. After a few seconds she grabs his arm making him stop in place. Young looking Captain: ¡°Just how much further is this place? You aren¡¯t just winging this are you?¡± Thief: ¡°It¡¯s up the road.¡± The young looking Captain loosens her grip and the thief continues walking onward. She follows him as she gives off a suspicious expression. Zizi follows just a few feet behind her, acting very carefree. They continue on for a minute or two. As they progress they begin to notice that the carved in buildings stop becoming markets and hobby shops and instead start to become various bars, general good markets, and living spaces. The buildings seem to be less maintained and garbage tends to be scattered about the area. There also seems to be less and less people walking about the further they continue on. Suddenly the thief stops. He stares down an alleyway. Thief: ¡°This a shortcut. It¡¯s right ahead.¡± The young looking Captain shakes her head as she follows him. Zizi begins to laugh as if he just heard a joke. They both follow the thief into the alleyway. As they enter the alleyway they see four other bird-like creatures just like the thief standing around. Most of them are leaning on the wall conversating about various things. The thief begins to pick up his pace and louden his footsteps. Thief: ¡°They playin¡¯ tricks!¡± The thief runs towards his kin as they charge toward the young looking Captain and Zizi. They each pull out their fists and unleash punches toward female. To their surprise she dodges them effortlessly. One assailant attempts to kick Zizi who responds by twirling around and dodging the kick. The attacker ends up smashing his foot against the wall and letting out a cry. Zizi lets out a chuckle. One of the assailants reaches into his front pants pocket and pulls out a knife. Thug: ¡°I don¡¯t get what species you from, but I do know that everything bleeds. You messed with-¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°You a bitch.¡± The thug and all the other assailants look surprised. Thug: ¡°The fuck you say?¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°You a bitch. Ya¡¯ll act so tough, yet you attack me, a female, and my midget companion with all of your fully grown mates and can¡¯t do shit. So now you pull a knife on me. Ya¡¯ll dicks just shrank three sizes.¡± The entire gang grinds their teeth, with the remaining ones reaching into their pockets and pulling out their knives as well. They begin walking toward the young looking Captain. Thug: ¡°I¡¯m going to chop ya up and feed ya to-¡± The young looking Captain immediately punches the thug straight in the face, propelling him into his collegues. They all fall down like bowling ball pins. They each begin to stand up and run toward their ¡°prey.¡± Gang member: ¡°Get that bitch!¡± Gang member 2: ¡°Stitch her up!¡± As they attempt to stab her, the young looking Captain kicks them across the alley one by one. Eventually a final gang member remains as he simply stands and stares at her. He hesitates for a few seconds and then proceeds to scream and charge toward the young looking Captain. She then uppercuts him as he soars above her head in the air and then begins to fall down, crashing into the ground. Young looking Captain: ¡°At least you got guts.¡± Zizi approaches her from the side and points his hand down the alley. Zizi: ¡°You¡¯re one short.¡± The young looking Captain looks straight ahead and manages to see the thief who led them there darting away as he is about to get out of the alley and turn a corner. Young looking Captain: ¡°Motherfucker!¡± She begins running at a blistering speed toward the thief, who takes a sharp turn to the left. The young looking Captain follows him just a couple seconds behind. She turns the same corner and presses on as she looks around. She sees the thief through the window of a bar across the street at the corner of her eye. She pivots and heads for the entrance. She barges through the door and comes to a complete stop to take in the area around her. The first thing that stands out to her is the spiral counter in the middle. It looks like the typical counter in a bar, except that it spirals up toward the ceiling like a spring. However, the spiral is jagged like a jigsaw, giving each patron a space for their drinks and elbows. At the end of the counter at the top, there seems to be an opening for rooftop seating. A mirror spiral staircase closely hugs the counter which, like the counter, also leads to the rooftop. A piece of flooring comes out from under the counter giving a seating space to thirsty patrons. The counter is completely covered with customers as there is no seat open. The bartender seems to be a bird-like creature that can actually fly. They are able to serve drinks top to bottom without even touching the ground, as they can just flap his wings while holding the beverages with their foot. It isn¡¯t just the bar counter that is busy, the floor around it is filled with people mingling, dancing, and/or drinking. The entire bar is covered in gaudy lights form large firefly-like insects in jars, the same ones seen in the market. The jars seemed to also be filled with opaque green colored rocks to give the area a colored tint. There is stage in the back of the building with a band playing some very strange music that is heavy on drums and distorted vocals. The young looking Captain begins searching for the thief with her eyes, trying to get a visual on him. She can¡¯t seem to find him. Young looking Captain: ¡°Where¡¯d you run off to coward?¡± She continues scanning the area, and soon focuses on the particular large crowd in front of the stage. She then sees a figure wearing a blue hood trying to shuffle through the crowd. She proceeds to walk in a brisk pace toward the crowd. She pushes patrons to the side, not even bothering to acknowledge their reactions. She finally reaches the thief who seems to be conversing with someone. She wastes no time in immediately punching him. His associate screams as the thief crashes into other patrons and knocking them down. As he lays on the ground, the young looking Captain stares at his face. She realizes that this is indeed not who she was looking for. She grinds her teeth and proceeds to turn around and looks past the angry crowd to see the, now hoodless, thief scaling up the spiral ramp that is connected to the bar counter. The young looking Captain immediately chases after him, pushing the crowd out of her way. As she approaches the spiral ramp, two large males, one would assume security, block the the way. Security Guard #1: ¡°You doing way too much!¡± The young looking Captain ignores them and hops on the bar counter. She bends her knees and jumps to the very top of the counter at the roof. As she solidifies her landing, she begins to take in the surrounding area. There seems to be significantly less people on the roof then there are on the ground floor. Most seem to be casually socializing with one another, not taking too much mind to anything. Except those sitting in the bar who seem to be shocked at the young looking Captain¡¯s sudden presence. There isn¡¯t much for decoration on the rooftop, it is simply a rooftop and not much else. The young looking Captain seems angry as she can¡¯t find the thief on the roof. She begins running toward the edge of the rooftop and walking along the edge to see if she can spot the thief in the distance. After a few seconds she stops. She catches clear sight of him walking in the middle of small crowd on the sidewalk, trying to blend in. She jumps off of the roof and charges toward the thief. He looks behind him due to his sheer paranoia and becomes shocked when it pays off. He begins darting away as the young looking Captain trails just a few seconds behind him. The thief charges straight ahead, allowing nothing to get in his way. He knocks down various merchant stalls and has no problem physically pushing or tackling pedestrians in his way. In fairness, the young looking Captain isn¡¯t much better as she literally runs over the fallen victims as if they were doormats. Seeing that the gap is becoming even tighter between the two, the thief jumps into a nearby window. Immediately a scream is heard. The young looking Captain doesn¡¯t hesitate to jump in as well.Find this and other great novels on the author''s preferred platform. Support original creators! Resident: ¡°What the hell!? Get out of my house!¡± Despite the resident¡¯s cries, both of the intruders ignore him. They continue running at full speed, barely catching a glimpse of anything. Inside the house are two rooms. A large room that represents a living/dining room and a bedroom. All of the walls and floors are made from rock and mud. There is a single table in the middle of the room and with no chairs accompanying it. Some feet from it is an open crate that seems to hold various fruits and vegetables. To the right of that is another closed crate that is leaking blood which (hopefully) contains common meat. There are many other items about, however they are all scattered throughout the floor. These include clothing, plates, books, utensils, and various garbage. The bedroom isn¡¯t much better as its only differentiating feature is its single bed. There are kids sitting a few feet away from the dining room table playing with toy dolls made of straw. They look up at the two intruders, however they don¡¯t seem scared. The father is standing right by the fruit crate staring at the intruders with fear. The thief cuts through the main room and jumps through the next window. The young looking Captain follows him. They seem to be in an alley which is surrounded by similar houses. The thief proceeds to jump through the adjacent window and into the neighboring house. The young looking Captain does not hesitate to follow. This house has the exact same layout as the previous one. However, it is significantly cleaner as there is little to no trash on the floor. A mother and her pre-teen children sit at the table eating what is presumed to be lunch. They all shriek when they see the intruders. The thief runs straight ahead and finds himself in front of the table, he jumps on it kicking away all of the food before landing back on the floor and jumping out the window by the entrance. A few seconds later the young looking Captain follows who manages to jump over the table completely and upon landing on the floor braces to jump again through the window. While landing on the small alleyway, she jumps into the next house. She stops and looks around to just see an elderly female reading a book. The senior doesn¡¯t even register that she is there. The entire house is clean, minimalistic, and quiet. There is no sight or trace of the thief. The young looking Captain turns around and looks out the window down the alley. She sees nothing, but begins to hear intense yelling from a few houses down. Unknown resident: ¡°Rat piece of shit! Swinging on me! Get the fuck out my house!¡± Two seconds after the sentence is finished, the thief is seen flying out the window and hitting the outside wall of the neighboring house. The young looking Captain smiles at the sight. The thief picks himself up and rubs his head and speaks under his breath. Thief: ¡°Punk bitch motherfucker.¡± He pauses and turns his head toward the young looking Captain. She responds by lifting up her hand to say ¡°hi¡±. She then snuffs out a laugh. The thief pauses for a second then bursts out running. The young looking Captain jumps out the window and follows. The thief runs dozen feet and takes a sharp right at an intersecting alleyway. He keeps running until he reaches the end of the alley attempts to turn to the left as the road stops ahead and takes an abrupt turn. Unfortunately he isn¡¯t quick enough to stop and pivot and thus slides off the edge and begins rolling down a fairly steep hill. He eventually stops on the paved floor in a town square. He looks up and sees the young looking Captain staring at him from up top the hill where he just was. She walks down a few feet and proceeds to slide down. She makes a smooth landing and then walks up toward the thief. During all of this he is breathing very heavily, implying that he is out of energy. Eventually, the young looking Captain is right above the thief, and she grabs his the part of his clothing right by his neck and pulls him up. She then hesitates for a some seconds, looking straight ahead of her, rather than down at the thief. A few seconds past and her gaze does not change. The thief then tilts his head up and sees a building with a mural on it. The mural is of a sunsetting on a large open field, due to the sun¡¯s vibrant color, it gives the field a red tint. The young look Captain stands up and walks toward the mural. She touches it, as if she is confirming that is isn¡¯t some sort of mirage. She then walks around it to see various tables set outside. Upon closer observation through the windows, it becomes obvious that this is a restaurant. There are dozens of patrons inside eating and drinking. Upon the entrance is a statue that is only about two meters tall. It is a figure of a heroic looking bird-like creature with their right arm curving above it¡¯s head and pointing to its left side. The young looking Captain turns around to see another mural on a building right across the statue. It is of variously sized silhouettes on the edge of a cliff kneeling. Upon closer observation they seem to be praying. What catches the eye, and what one cannot miss, is what is in the background of these silhouettes. A huge painting of a dusk sun. The young looking Captain then turns back to the statue and then looks at the direction it is pointing at. To her left she sees a long road with a very tall and thin carved building, almost the size of a skyscraper, in the distance. As the young looking Captain is faced toward the road, the thief struggles to stand up. He pants and after a few seconds briefly sprints toward the alley to his left side. It is brief because he stops only after two seconds. Zizi is walking toward him from the alley. The thief freezes as Zizi walks right past him and heads toward the young looking Captain. Zizi: ¡°Just because I can always manage to find you, doesn¡¯t mean chasing your ass isn¡¯t annoying. You got me running around town all over.¡± Zizi pauses and observes the area. Zizi: ¡°Oh.¡± The young looking Captain turns around and stares at the thief for a moment. The thief is visibly frightened. She then turns back forward and proceeds down the road with Zizi. After a few seconds the thief proceeds to run and limp toward the alley. Scene: An upclose shot of the road. The multi-colored tiles seem to pop out more than usual due to their textures and imperfection being so much more apparent up close. The camera begins to pan up until the base of the tower becomes visible. The base of the tower is pure black and is very reflective. It seems to be made of ebony or some similar type of material. There are two extremely large doors that act as the entrance to the tower. They seem to measure thirty-six feet height and sixteen feet in width. The camera keeps panning up. Soon the base of the tower ends and the material switches from ebony to something akin to bamboo. It is light brown in color, however to get a good look at it is difficult. This is because there seems to be various designs all throughout the tower. The designs are of various creatures, mostly of their faces or body parts. The paintings are rather primitive, but when put together make something rather pleasing to the eye. Each painting is in one unique solid color. The camera continues to pan up, the tower continues, as well as its unique decor. What¡¯s odd is that throughout the tower there are no windows, despite the humid climate. Eventually as the camera pans up it reaches the top of the tower, however by this time the camera is virtually angled 90 degrees. After a few seconds, Zizi¡¯s back encapsules the camera and he then gradually becomes smaller as he moves away from it with the young looking Captain by his side.] Young looking Captain: ¡°From my experience there are only three explanations for a building this large in such a backwoods. It¡¯s either a monument, a fortress, or a prison.¡± Zizi: ¡°Are you trying to get me to make a bet?¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°You act as if you don¡¯t want to.¡± Zizi continues walking as he puts his hand on his chin. Zizi: ¡°All three.¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°You either brilliant or just stupid.¡± The duo continue on until they reach the tower entrance. The young looking Captain pulls her arm back and jolts it forward to give the door a heavy bang of a knock. Almost instantly the massive doors began to open inward. The duo waste no time as they walk right through the doors as soon as there is enough space for them to get through. Behind the door is a very loud and busy lounge. The room is as large as the tower¡¯s base and is filled with dozens of patrons standing over tables organized throughout the room. Each table is accompanied by what seems to be a host. The tables vary such as having cards scattered about or having three eggs that are cut in half that are moving around. WIth closer observation it becomes obvious that these people are gambling. The room is decorated in a very gauche design. The walls are covered in sophisticated patterns that are so elegant, they are borderline tacky. The floor is at a strict contrast to this as it is merely a cement-like texture that is painted dark green. The ceiling seems to be made of something similar to bamboo, each one is painted deep blue. Zizi and the young looking Captain continue walking about half a dozen feet from the entrance when a large tail comes crashing right in front of them. Bulky voice: ¡°An¡¯ jus¡¯ where do ya think you¡¯re going?¡± Both the young looking Captain and Zizi turnaround to find a large creature in front of them. It is clearly a descendent of a T-Rex. The creature is fairly tall, about ten feet, and stands on its hind legs. It is also exceptionally long, close to twenty feet. It¡¯s body is filled with muscle and is covered in feathers. It has a huge head and equally huge jaws, but also has very short arms with talons at the end. A few feet beside this intimidating creature is another of its kind. Both stare down at the site¡¯s newest guests. Bulky doorman: ¡°Its not ery¡¯day we have a fresh face come in here. Let alone ones we allow to set foot inside without checkin¡¯ credentials.¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°And who might you be?¡± Bulky doorman: ¡°Most think of me as a bounca, a bellboy, a host. But to you, I¡¯m your transporta¡¯.¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°Ehh?¡± The bulky doorman sneers. Bulky doorman: ¡°I was told to look for a rodent on its hind legs with it¡¯s doll companion. And lo¡¯ and behold ya show up.¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°Don¡¯t start pushin¡¯.¡± Bulky doorman: ¡°Thought he was jokin¡¯. Didn¡¯t think there were creatures that look as ridiculous as ya two¡± Zizi: ¡°You¡¯re one to talk. Your stubby little arms are so short that you can¡¯t even reach your dick.¡± The bulky doorman lifts his foot and smashes it on top of Zizi. After a brief moment it is shown that Zizi managed to be completely unscathed as he is standing in between the creature¡¯s large toes. Zizi lets out a smug smile. The bulky doorman sneers and looks toward his colleague. Bulky doorman: ¡°Take ¡¯em. I¡¯m already sick of their shit.¡± The other large doorman begins walking forward. He motions his head to the side, signalling the duo to follow him. They press on to the back of the room. The duo look around and observes the area. They notice that upon further observation, some of the games the crowds are playing are more morbid than others. These include a game in which the top of the table is encased by a dome as two small creatures cockfight, and another with a living being tied up to a wall while players use throwing knives as darts. The trio walk by as one patron manages to get a ¡°bullseye¡± both literally and figuratively. The tied up creature lets out a cry. The trio goes through a door and into a large hallway. At the end of the hallway is a large platform with a single lever. The doorman walks on top of the platform and turns around. Zizi and the young looking Captain pause once they are on top of the platform as well. Zizi looks toward the doorman. Zizi: ¡°What are you waiting for? Just reach out and-oh¡¡± The doorman lets out an annoyed expression. As he lifts up his leg and kicks the the lever. The platform begins to move up as it is revealed to be a primitive elevator. In each end of the elevator there are two wheels with chains wrapped around them. The chains move clockwise as the platform is pulled up. Soon the floor disappears and all that is seen is plain bamboo-like wall. After a few seconds a new space opens up. There appears to be a new floor that is collection of several large areas closed in by metal bars. Inside each of these areas are dozens of ¡°residents¡±. Most seem to be sitting on the floor by each other in groups merely talking amongst themselves. There are no beds, seats, or anything recreational inside these cages. Just living beings. The floor seems to be similar to concrete, along with the wall. It is dimly lit by only torches connected to the ceiling. The elevator passes along a few levels, each just like this one. However, after the sixth level the scenery changes. Instead of being individuals in cages, it is rather individuals in uniform. Either training for combat or loading and preparing weapons and items. Each floor they pass by offers them only a glimpse of what is occurring. After a moment the elevator begins to slow down. While this is happening light begins to illuminate from above, as if the three were entering heaven. Soon the elevator stops at the roof of the tower. The duo is initially blinded by the light but they soon regain focus of their surroundings. [Scene: A large rooftop that measures around 50 x 50 feet. In front of the elevator is a purple carpeted way that spands about 30 feet and is about 5 feet wide. The entire rooftop, except the carpet, is covered by shallow water that is about four inches deep. There are various flower petals and flower tops scattered on the surface of the water, to the point that it may be difficult to tell that the surrounding area isn¡¯t solid ground. At the end of the carpeted path is a purple boxed curtain. It is clearly made for someone who wants to engage in privacy. There are no other living beings visible on this rooftop besides an ostrich-like creature, that is standing by the boxed curtain while singing a melodic hymn.] The young looking Captain and Zizi walk on top of the carpet following the way, while the doorman treads along to their right side on the water. They eventually reach the boxed curtain. Doorman: ¡°Sir! The visitors are here.¡± High ranked individual inside curtain: ¡°Fan-tastic!¡± *claps hands together* Doorman: ¡°Is it okay if I part the drapes?¡± High ranked individual inside curtain: ¡°No thank you.¡± Zizi: ¡°You¡¯re right. You should at least wait until you wash your hands.¡± The doorman gives off a frightened look. High ranked individual inside curtain: ¡°I prefer to make my own entrances.¡± The curtains are soon opened by the mysterious being inside. Out comes a figure with its arms spread out to embrace the surroundings. The figure has pale purple skin, long blue hair, while wearing what looks to be similar to a fedora and sunglasses. They also are wearing a sleeveless shirt and pants with many patches and stitches on it. They proceed to walk toward the young looking Captain as they kneel down and sticks their hand in the water to grab a flower. They then stand back up and hand the flower to the young looking Captain. High ranked individual: ¡°Welcome to my humble abode, my sweet sweet princess.¡± The young looking Captain casually smacks the flower out of the individual¡¯s hand. Young looking Captain: ¡°I already regret coming here¡What¡¯s so ¡®humble¡¯ about this place anyway? How you of all people being treated like a king?¡± High ranked individual: ¡°So curious, but that¡¯s what I love about you.¡± Zizi: ¡°I swear you be getting more desperate each time we run into you.¡± High ranked individual: ¡°Right, why don¡¯t I start from the beginning?¡± Zizi sighs. High ranked individual: ¡°After our agreement, I randomly selected a location, dimension, and time period for us to convene. I ended up here on this realm. As I explored this planet I came across an unruly group of individuals.¡± [Scene: At the the edge of a lake near the shore, the storyteller stands in the shallow water. Behind him is a large waterfall that reflects off light that illuminates the area in a large bloom. He seems to be wearing the same outfit, however what stands out is that he has a large arrow lodge in his right arm. Standing in front of him on the green shore are what looks like two dozen armed soldiers. The front is lined up with creatures between five and seven feet tall, each holding a weapon similar to an axe or a sword. Behind them are two key grips who tower at about twenty feet high and are armed only with their fists. In the back are about a dozen archers who are all slim and vary in size. But who captures the eye the most is a creature wearing fur who sits on top of a throne. The throne is being lifted up by three soldiers grabbing rods that are connected to the the bottom of the legs. They are standing in the center of the troops. ] Leader: ¡°Who shot him!?¡± The soldiers stand silent. Leader: ¡°I said who shot him!?¡± A slender archer from the far right of the row raises his hand. Slender archer: ¡°Me sir!¡± The leader gives the slender archer a nasty look. After a few seconds passed, he reaches into his coat and pulls out a knife and throws it directly at the slender archer. It strikes him right in his head to which he collapses immediately. Leader: ¡°When you shoot, you shoot to kill!¡± The storyteller begins to walk forward. Leader: ¡°Make one more step and I¡¯ll have them shoot!¡± Storyteller: ¡°Aren¡¯t you going to have them shoot me regardless?¡± Leader: ¡°That depends on how you answer my questions.¡± The storyteller shrugs and and twists his arms. Leader: ¡°Who are you and what are you doing here?¡± Storyteller: ¡°I¡¯m just visitor trying to find my way around.¡± Leader: ¡°A foreign visitor. You clearly aren¡¯t from around here, nor anywhere I¡¯ve ever been. Where are you from?¡± Storyteller: ¡°It could be best explained that I am from a very very distant land.¡± Leader: ¡°So where exactly are you going?¡± Storyteller: ¡°I¡¯m just on my way to meet someone.¡± The leader gestures his hand forward, signaling the storyteller to continue. Storyteller: ¡°Someone dear to me.¡± Leader: ¡°...I don¡¯t believe your story.¡± The leader lifts his right arm up and motions his hand back towards him with his index finger up. The archers shoot their arrows as the storyteller dashes toward the soldiers. He manages to dodge all of the arrows and runs up to the frontline and jumps directly on a soldier¡¯s face. He leaps from it and flies over to one of the large creatures behind him and lands right at their knee. This leads to the large creature kneeling down from the pain. The storyteller proceeds to jump on the large creature¡¯s head and grabs it. He quickly pulls out some type of putty from his pocket and sticks it on the creature¡¯s neck. The storyteller falls to the ground as the substance he applies crackles pops. Suddenly and explosion happens as the creature¡¯s head is blown clean off. Blood pours out of the neck like a waterfall. As the storyteller stands back up, one of the large creature¡¯s smashes their fists toward him. The storyteller does a forward backflip to dodge the attack. The fist smashes into the ground and creates a small crater. The storyteller lands on his hands and proceeds to do a backflip to where he was before. He lands on the giant¡¯s wrist. He begins to run up the key grip¡¯s arm as he reaches for in his pocket again. Charging up the arm, he brings out what looks like a shuriken and throws it directly at the large creature¡¯s eye. The creature cries out in pain, as the storyteller hops off of it¡¯s arm and back to the ground. The giant begins swinging, punching, and stomping everything in its range. Unfortunately for it, this includes its allies. Those in the frontline begin getting stomped and smashed by the large creature. As this occurs, the storyteller rushes toward the archers and immediately kicks at their throats. At one point finds himself between two archers. As they aim to shoot and begin to release their fingers from the string, he purposefully falls to the ground, so he dodges the arrows as the archers strike one another instead. The storyteller picks himself back up, just to dodge an attack from the raging blinded creature. He then throws a few small objects toward it. Suddenly small flashes of lightning occur, which results in the giant collapsing. The storyteller begins charging toward the leader. He takes out something similar to a knuckle duster and attempts to punch him in his face, when the leader blocks the attack by putting the palm of his hand out. Out comes from the knuckle duster a mini-drill, as it slices right through the leader¡¯s hand. Despite clearly being in pain, he seems shockingly composed. Around him are all of his soldiers who are either dead or dying. Leader: ¡°Where....where you really from?¡± Storyteller: ¡°Far far away.¡± Leader: ¡°Clearly...I¡¯ve seen lots and lots of fighters but none like you. Not with those weapons.I have proposition for you.¡± Storyteller: ¡°What exactly makes you believe that I would accept any offer from you?¡± Leader: ¡°No one travels without reason. I promise I will satisfy that reason.¡± Storyteller: ¡°Bullshit.¡± Leader: ¡°You already killed so many of my crew. What could I possibly do to you, even behind your back?¡± The storyteller pauses for a moment, then begins to pull the drill out of the leader¡¯s hand. [Scene: The scene cuts back to the top of the tower. The storyteller has both of his arms out as if he is about to embrace someone. Zizi and the young looking Captain stare at him.] Zizi: ¡°Well¡?¡± Storyteller: ¡°Well what?¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°Well what did he fucking say!? You can¡¯t just leave your story linger like that stupid ass!¡± Storyteller: ¡°Linger¡¯s just like our love.¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°I swear to god I¡¯m going to fucking hit you.¡± As she is speaking, Zizi puts his hand inside himself and pulls something out. He holds it out and it looks much like the diamond-like object Devonte picked up before. Only this one glows not blue, but purple. Zizi: ¡°Are we going to get down to business or not?¡± Storyteller: ¡°Ah, where are my manners? I suppose I get a little too passionate in the moment. I guess they don¡¯t call me ¡®Romance¡± for nothing.¡± Young looking Captain: ¡°Just give us the fucking coordinates!¡± Romance: ¡°Mmmmmm! Damn I love a feisty girl.¡± The young looking Captain walks up to Romance and punches him in the face. Young looking Captain: ¡°Don¡¯t think just because we need something from you means that you can spurt your shit all over us! You need this rock just as much as we need the info! Now stop fucking around and hand it over!¡± Romance refocuses himself and chuckles. Romance: ¡°Well of course.¡± Reaching in his pocket, Romance pulls out a piece of paper. As he begins to hand it to the young looking Captain, she snatches is straight out of his hand. She begins to read the paper. Her expression quickly changes to one of confusion. Young looking Captain: ¡°The fuck is this?¡± As the young looking Captain holds up the paper in her confusion. Suddenly a large spear impales her from her back. It cuts straight through her body and through her chest. She lets out a loud scream and she falls to her knees. As she falls, one can see dozens of archers and spearmen from behind her. Zizi too is struck, but instead by multiple arrows through his back, as he lays on the floor to his side motionless. Romance walks toward the young looking Captain and kneels down to her level. Romance: ¡°They say many things about love. That it makes you blind. Makes you appreciate the more subtle things in life. These are mostly true, but one thing that isn¡¯t true, is that love makes you stupid. I knew that you weren¡¯t planning on giving me key. You are crafty I¡¯ll give you that, but you are still a naive girl.¡± The young looking Captain spits at Romance¡¯s face. Though the spit is more blood than saliva. Despite this sign of disrespect and repugnant behavior, Romance continues to smile. Romance: ¡°Never change Corsica.¡± As Romance begins to stand up, Corsica grabs his arm. Corsica: ¡°Coris. It¡¯s Coris you shit.¡± Romance: ¡°Of course.¡± Romance stands up and begins to walk toward Zizi. On the floor right in front of him is the ¡®key¡¯. As Romance kneels down to grab it, Zizi lifts up his head and spits something out which hits Romance in the face. It stuns Romance briefly. During this Zizi grabs the key and turns toward Coris. He rams into her as she flies far to the other side of the tower. Zizi continues charging toward her as spearmen and archers attempt to hit him. Due to Zizi¡¯s agility, every shot misses. As Zizi nears toward Coris, a knife strikes his hand and he drops the key on the floor. It turns out that Romance quickly recuperated from Zizi¡¯s surprise attack. Zizi slides to the floor, pushing Coris over the edge of the tower and they both fall. Romance looks down at the object that hit him. It is black metal orb with simple markings on it. He quickly becomes alert. Suddenly the orbs explode. Act 1 | Movement 3 [Scene: From a very far distance we see the top of the tower explode. A mushroom cloud of black smoke engulfs it. The sound of hundreds of citizens screaming can be heard. This viewpoint seems to be from a few miles away. The surroundings are of the jungle wilderness, however the viewpoint is above a steep thick grassy hill. The entire front portion of the city can be seen, as it looks like some type of miniature.] Articulate voice: ¡°It seems that we¡¯ve located her.¡± In frame steps in Alistur with his mask-like face leaving a smile. Behind him are the previous band of characters. The fin-headed Enya, the monk Shaska, a serpent-like form of Dark Prince, and of course the Captain. The Captain moves ahead of Alistur and pauses. She then lets out a sigh. Captain: ¡°Where there is trouble, there is Coris.¡± The Captain jerks her head, signaling the others to press on forward. As they all move forward, one can see the Captain pulling on what looks to be a cable. Following it to its end is Devonte who is tied up and has his mouth bounded by a rag. The Captain carelessly drags him forward as if she is a child lazily dragging a doll. [Scene: Things fast forward as the crew is now at the entrance of the city. Unlike when the duo arrived, the city is much more quite. Upon further observation, most citizens are too busy staring at the now damaged tower. It seems that a third of the tower has been blown to bits, while another third is charred in flames. Smoke engulfs the entire area surrounded by the tower. Citizens are peaking out of their windows and standing on their rooftops to see the commotion. The streets are empty with very little activity as next to nobody roams them.] The Captain leads the crew as she quickly observes the area. Enya: ¡°It seems that Coris desecrated the wrong tower. Or possibly Zizi?¡± Captain: ¡°What does it matter? Neither of them ever think.¡± The crew progresses towards the tower as they gradually pass along several landmarks the previous duo have. The open park, the large cavern, the grimy part of town with the bar, and the area with mural and pointing statue. The key difference is that there is very little activity in these areas. Some look virtually abandoned. Eventually the crew reaches about a half a mile to the tower. As the cast walks toward the destroyed tower, they notice hundreds of beings in front of it. Upon closer observation, they seem to be the soldiers wearing the same uniforms of those who were housed in the tower. The Captain signals Dark Prince through a unique hand gesture. The Dark Prince stretches himself out like taffy to the top of a nearby rooftop. It acts as a ramp as the entire crew climbs up it to the top. Once they reach their destination, they each take cover behind large pillar sticking out from the roof. They then look onward as they have a better view of the large gathering of soldiers in the distance. The scene changes to an up close view of the gathering. Hundreds of soldiers are lined up onlooking the destruction. The tower is still burning as charred ash falls from the sky like burnt rain. Suddenly, the soldiers begin to kneel as a group four soldiers carry a large throne walks by in front. Sitting on the throne is a bird-like creature dressed in what seems to be very primitive garb, even when compared to the surround citizens. All this being is wearing is a long loincloth and a thick satchel, while having multiple markings on on their body as if they were substituting for clothes. As the group of soldiers carrying this creature continue to walk, they suddenly stop. They proceed to slowly turn the throne until it is facing directly at the burning tower. The leader of this gathering stares at the tower for a moment. Their eyes seem specifically focused at the top of the base. Leader of gathering: ¡°Such¡destruction¡ What force could have caused this?¡± The leader takes a deep breath. Leader of gathering: ¡°Something this powerful was no accident.¡± The leader turns around toward his army. Leader of gathering: ¡°It was planned!¡± The army in front of him cheers. Leader of gathering: ¡°Bear witness to the destruction of our monument! Our pride!¡± The army lets out another cheer Suddenly, a large figure hops up from the rooftops and comes crashing down toward the Captain and her crew. They each hop out of the way. Due to Devonte laying on the floor, still tied up, about eighth feet away from the crew, he is not moved. Instead he is flung into the air as the large figure lands on the rooftop. Devonte falls on the ledge below on his side, and then rolls back on the floor. The rest of the crew jump to the ground then run behind the building to be out of sight. The figure becomes in focus, and it turns out to be the ¡°doorman¡±, the T-Rex-like creature shown previously. Doorman: ¡°Ya murderist bitch! Ya did this! I let ya in and ya killed my partna and towa!¡± The doorman runs up to the ledge where the crew jumped off of. Doorman: ¡°Ya all pay wh-¡± As he reaches the edge ready to jump, his head gets cut off by what looks like a sword. The camera shows Enya with her arm and palm out and fingers together like she recently performed a karate chop. The doorman¡¯s head rolls to the ground and his body falls forward. Enya jumps out of the way and disappears into the surroundings. The scene cuts back to the large army gathering. The troops all look behind them at the recent commotion. Many of the soldiers look back at their leader who glares at them with a confirmed look. Dozens of soldiers respond by charging up toward the rooftop in the distance. The scene cuts once again to Devonte who is laying face first, flat on the ground on his stomach. He picks up his head to see the group of soldiers run past his occupied alley. However, in the last string one looks in his direction and halts to a stop. Two soldiers behind him stop as well. They notice Devonte and begin to walk toward him. Curious Soldier: ¡°I found someone in front!¡± Just then, his head is sliced off, the two soldiers behind him are shocked, but also follow similar fates. One has the top side of his head cut off only two seconds later, while the soldier beside him is cut vertically in half just a moment after that. As the soldier splits apart, Enya is seen standing behind him. She stares at Devonte who seems delirious, likely from the fall. She runs up to Devonte, grabs him, and lifts him up over her shoulder. She proceeds to run behind her, until she moves past the intersecting road and to the adjacent building. She jumps inside and begins to maneuver through the area until she reaches an exit toward the alley. She runs to a window, when she sees a soldier walking right past it outside. It seems that he is planning to go inside. Enya steps back. She¡¯s about to turnaround and run to the other side when she hears a soldier yelling in that direction in the distance. Distant soldier voice: ¡°Friendly dead!¡± The approaching soldier by the window immediately turns back and sprints toward voice from the other side. This results in Enya approaching the door and peeking out of it. She sees soldiers running through the road, but paying no mind what¡¯s beside them. She waits until the last soldier clears before exiting the home. She sprints and jumps through the windows in the next house. The inside is identical to the previous one, However, it actually has residents inside it. A man and what seems to be his wife are cooking food. They stare blankly at Enya, a strange figure who is carrying an even stranger one over her shoulder. They look shocked to see her, Enya responds by giving them a threatening stare. The residents remain quiet and go about their business. Enya proceeds to run out from the door to exit. [Scene: A shot of the sunset mural that Coris and Zizi encountered before is shown. The camera pans away from it to show the main road that leads to the now heavily damaged tower. One can see Enya running through the road toward camera. She¡¯s only a dozen meters away when suddenly a silky black leg appears in front of the camera.] Enya stops running and stands practically motionless. She seemingly becomes more alert and expression is one of skepticism. Enya: ¡°Did they forget to put you on your leash?¡± The leg belongs to a dog-like creature with multiple worms for a ¡°face¡±. It turns out that this strange thing is Dark Prince, as he has taken this form before. He takes a few steps toward Enya and Devonte. Dark Prince: ¡°Let¡¯s just say that my leash is longer than you think.¡± Enya¡¯s skeptical expression becomes one of confusion. She looks up to see the Captain gazing down at her from the steep hill above. [Scene: The entire crew, sans Enya and the Dark Prince, are in the alley nearest to the hill drop. Alistur is leaning against the wall while juggling his throwing knives. Shaska is sitting down meditating. The Captain continues to overlook the surroundings.] A bird flies up over the hill. Upon closer inspection it the multi-worm-faced Dark Prince. Upon landing on the floor he transforms himself into a puddle of goo that rises up, giving himself an arc shaped ¡°body.¡± Not long after, Enya comes from walking up the steep hill with Devonte on her shoulders. Almost immediately upon getting on the flat road surface, she drops Devonte, which results in him grunting in pain after hitting the solid ground. The Captain turns around and steps toward him. Captain: ¡°Just like a child. It¡¯s pathetic.¡± Enya: ¡°It¡¯s not completely his fault The impact from the brute pushed him forward. He was was unlucky.¡± Captain: ¡°Sometimes I suspect that people control their own luck.¡± Enya: ¡°How do you plan on us to proceed?¡± Captain: ¡°It¡¯s been quite a few hours.¡± The Captain kneels over Devonte. Captain: ¡°Possibly a day since we ventured here?¡± The Captain raising her right hand. Captain: ¡°Alistur!¡± As Alistur juggles, he manages to throw one of the knives directly toward the Captain¡¯s hand. She catches flawlessly without moving her gaze on Devonte. Upon seeing the knife, Devonte starts breathing more quickly and heavily. Captain: ¡°Mark my words, you¡¯re going to have to have more than an army in order to separate us from you.¡± The Captain reaches out to Devonte with the knife, who responds by screaming. Devonte: ¡°Get the fuck away from me bitch! Fuck you! Fuck you you chihuahua looking bitch!¡± The Captain stabs the knife in Devonte¡¯s arm and then pulls back giving a violent slash. Devonte screams due to the immense pain.Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings. Enya: ¡°Quite a vocabulary he has.¡± The Captain turns her head toward Enya. Captain: ¡°Quite.¡± As Devonte screams in pain, a stream of clear mist rushes from the wound in his arm. After a few seconds it stops, with the remaining mist moving around organically like an organism. The mist begins to change color. It gradually gains an orange tint. As the seconds go by, it becomes more and more saturated. It then begins heading to the west of where the crew just ran out from. Enya then lets out a sigh. A few seconds later the mist evaporates. Enya: ¡°The worst of the possible scenarios has been avoided.¡± Captain: ¡°For now¡¡± The Captain stands back up with the end rope tied around Devonte in her hand. Devonte is still screaming on the floor, unaware of what has occurred. Captain: ¡°You know what to do. We find what we are looking for, and hope we find Coris.¡± Devonte: ¡°Fuck you! This shit hurts!¡± The Captain proceeds to tighten her grasp on the rope and hurdle it forward. This results in Devonte being thrown in the air, in which he ends up crashing on the ground face first. The Captain walks up to him and kneels down. She then lifts his head up with one of her hands, and proceeds to lift up his previous cut arm with the other. Devonte stares at his arm as there is no sign of a cut. Captain: ¡°Dumbass. You aren¡¯t even injured.¡± The Captain pushes Devonte¡¯s head back in the ground. The Captain continues walking forward and in the background the rest of the crew begins to follow. [Scene: An upclose shot of the face of a creature that seems to look like a raptor with long feathers all across her head. She¡¯s wearing a well decorated headdress. They seem to be in the middle of some kind of prayer. The camera changes to a scene above where one can see that there are three rows of these creatures with the same attire, all praying. They are each wearing what looks like gowns with a pink tint. Bringing all this to account, the crew has seemed to stumble into a bustling district. However, unlike the previous ones, this one seems to be much more conservative. The clothes of the pedestrians are fully covered with and they all seem significantly more well kept and groomed compared to the citizens of other districts. There are large statues and monuments scattered across the square. In front of these large sculptures are rows of devoted followers praying, as they stand on their knees and bow down toward the large figures.] Alistur: ¡°Hardly Corsica¡¯s scene.¡± Captain: ¡°Hardly.¡± The Captain turns to Devonte and grabs him by the hand. This seems to startle him. The Captain pulls him up so that he stands on his two feet. She proceeds to begin untying him. Captain: ¡°Make no mistake. We are all a lot stronger and faster than you. This rope merely makes things more convenient. If you dare run, we will kill you.¡± Devonte is silent with an emotionless face as the Captain undoes the last knot. She then ¡°discards¡± the rope by throwing it in the distance. She puts her hand behind Devonte¡¯s back and pushes him forward, signalling him to walk. He and the rest of the crew begin to press on forward. Dark Prince: ¡°So what exactly do you plan to do with such a cold trail?¡± Captain: ¡°What we always do.¡± [Scene: Two female bird-like creatures are conversing with one another in what looks to be an eating section in a plaza. The section is filled with dozens of table lined up near a restaurant that seems to serve a very specific type of food, that likely relates to the religion. They seem to be smiling, laughing, and having a good time. They are soon approached by Alistur who interrupts their conversion.] Alistur: ¡°Excuse me madams, would you mind if I could inquirer you for a brief moment?¡± The two female patrons turn their heads toward Alistur. Alistur: ¡°Apologies for the intrusion, but I am looking for a particular specimen. One that much resembles this kind madam behind me.¡± Alistur gestures toward the Captain who is standing behind him. She gives an unenthusiastic mild wave at the patrons. Alistur: ¡°Have you encountered anyone such as she?¡± The scene changes to two males creatures who look similar to a triceratops. They seem to be inside a dimly lit room. Triceratop male 1: ¡°Can¡¯t say that I have.¡± The scene then changes to what seems to be a large bird, similar to the one Zizi and Corsica were riding. It is looking straight ahead (presumably where Alistur is) with a confused expression. Large Bird: ¡°Such a strange creature¡No I have not.¡± The scene changes once again to three bird-like creatures wearing their prayer attire. They are standing in front of one of the monuments. Devote 1: ¡°Sorry, she¡¯s unfamiliar to me.¡± Devote 2: ¡°To me as well.¡± Once again, the scene changes, this time to a group of six small children, each from a different types of species, who are standing in the middle of a road. There is a ball rolling in front of them. Child 1: ¡°No sir.¡± Child 4: ¡°Unfortunately not.¡± The scene again changes, this time of a pterodactyl-like creature flying part way in the air. It nonchalantly flaps its wings above of the passers-bys. Pterodactyl-like creature: ¡°Haven¡¯t seen such a thing all day.¡± The scene finally changes back to the original two female bird-like creatures dining in the plaza. One of these females leans over to get a better look at the Captain. After staring at her for a moment, she proceeds to look up at Alistur. Female bird-like creature: ¡°No.¡± The other creature she is dining with also shakes her head. The scene changes once against to a black fist hitting the floor. The camera pans out to show that it is the Dark Prince who is in a form of something that is akin to a monkey. He and the rest of the crew are all are standing in front of an alley in the square, with the exception of Shaska who seems to be mediating again. Enya: ¡°Must you always have such impatience?¡± Dark Prince: ¡°Lacking patience is sometimes warranted! We¡¯ve been at this for hours!¡± Enya: ¡°Well what alternative would you propose?¡± Dark Prince: ¡°Anything else!¡± The Dark Prince looks around and sees a group of religious devotees praying to a monument in the distance. He then looks over to Shaska. Dark Prince: ¡°Maybe you can lend a helping hand¡for once.¡± Shaska opens his eyes and glances up at Dark Prince. Dark Prince: ¡°Looks like you speak the same language.¡± Alistur: ¡°I realize that this may seem like an inconvenience. However, in order pursue Corsica and her valuables we must get some leads.¡± Dark Prince: ¡°The only leading that you are doing is leading us in circles. You have to have some tact with dealing with these things. You can¡¯t just expect random people to waltz around knowing where we can find-¡± Voice in the background: ¡°Coris?¡± The crew looks startled. They look forward toward the plaza and see a large round figure in a robe with long decorative top hat. The creature has a relatively small face for its body and has spikes sticking out from its back. It seems to be derivative of a stegosaurus. He seems to be holding chimes with his left hand and a book that is tucked under his right arm. Mysterious Devotee: ¡°I have heard that you are looking for a creature that is part of the same breed as your companion there.¡± The devotee points his left hand toward the Captain. The chimes echo due to the arm movement. Alistur: ¡°As a matter of fact we are my good man! You even seem conversant with her name.¡± Mysterious Devotee: ¡°Indeed I am. I actually came across her as she managed to stumble into my service. She was with a friend of small stature. They were both confused and-¡± Captain: ¡°Who are you?¡± Mysterious Devotee: ¡°Ahh. Where are my manners? My name is Fizkip the Third.¡± The Dark Prince chortles. Fizkip III: ¡°I am part of a line of well known priests to our dear Lord.¡± Alistur: ¡°Did our yellow furred friend happen to explain their predicament to you?¡± Fizkip III: ¡°She stated that she was in need of shelter. I assumed that she and her small statured partner were merely refugees.¡± Captain: ¡°Refugees?¡± Fizkip III: ¡°Yes, refugees. There is a lot of conflict within our borders. The city as a whole may seem peaceful enough, but the countryside is far more hostile. And even in our metropolis attacks aren¡¯t uncommon, as you have possibly witnessed earlier today.¡± Alistur: ¡°What is the reason-¡± Captain: ¡°How many refugees do you come across with yellow fur or the size of a stuffed toy?¡± Fizkip III: ¡°One would be surprised just how far one will travel to escape conflict. And conflict encompasses through all the corners of the Earth.¡± Fizkip III looks at Alistur. Fizkip III: ¡°I apologize I didn¡¯t hear your question.¡± Alistur: ¡°The apology is mine. I was inquiring what is the root of this chaos.¡± Fizkip III looks down on the ground and shakes his head. Fizkip III: ¡°The same as all conflicts. There are those who are resistant to change.¡± Looking up from the ground, Fizkip III puts a smile on his face and claps his hands. Fizkip III: ¡°Now! Let us reunite with your kin.¡± Scene changes to Fizkip III leading the crew through a small and peaceful quarter. WIthin it are various devotees who are either praying or reading scripture. There are various hedges and greenery which are particularly planted to make the area seem clean and organized. All the buildings in the area seem to be painted in various murals of religious figures. Fizkip III eventually stops in front of a large building with an open door. Fizkip III: ¡°You¡¯re lost companion is in here.¡± The Captain simply stands and stares at the door with skepticism, the rest of the crew is hesitant. Fizkip III: ¡°I assure you, you are safe.¡± The Captain shifts her eyes to the right and exhales. She proceeds through the door as the crew follows. Inside is a large hallway with many creatures lying on the ground being attended to. Upon closer observation most of them seem to be notably wounded. Judging by that those attending them seem to be carrying water and various items, it becomes obvious that this place is some sort of hospital. Alistur: ¡°Dear me, she didn¡¯t hurt herself did she?¡± Fizkip III: ¡°Luckily not. This place treats the ill and damage but it also provides refuge.¡± Captain: ¡°Where is she?¡± Fizkip III: ¡°My sisters! I have come with a gift for our guest¡± Three female devotees are conversing in front of Fizkip III when they turn toward him. Devotee 1: ¡°Ahh, so it is this group.¡± The crew stops just a few feet past one of the ill who catches the Captain¡¯s attention. A youngish looking bird-like creature in blue toga. He is scowling at one of his caretakers who is holding a bowl of water. Thief: ¡°I¡¯ve been laying here waitin¡¯ for a drink and you take your sweet time.¡± The caretaker seems offended and just drops the bowl on the disrespectful creature¡¯s lap and proceeds to walk away. Thief: ¡°Shit! You lucky I¡¯m in pain or I¡¯d whack you ¡¯til your eyes pop out!¡.Shit¡¯s not even cold!¡± The thief seems agitated when he looks around the room and notices the Captain. He then becomes very visibly fearful. The Captain takes immediate notices and walks toward him, while Fizkip III keeps on with his conversation. Fizkip III: ¡°Yes this is indeed the group. The search took some time, but I was blessed.¡± Devotee 1: ¡°The Lord truly watches over all.¡± The Captain reaches the thief, who is extremely terrified. She crouches down to his level. The rest of the group seems to notice the Captain¡¯s lack of presence, but purposefully seem to pay her no mind. Thief: ¡°We ha-had a-a nod. A-a-a understadin¡¯¡± Captain: ¡°I know that face. You¡¯ve come across one just like me haven¡¯t you?¡± Devotee 1: ¡°Good. She was getting impatient.¡± Fizkip III: ¡°Is our guest still safe and secure?¡± Thief: ¡°Yes. Just like you. In all ways. Didn¡¯t get her name.¡± Devotee 1: ¡°She¡¯s right where you left her.¡± Captain: ¡°Why¡¯d she grab you? What she want?¡± Fizkip III: ¡°Fantastic.¡± Fizkip III turns around to address the crew, who still do their best to ignore the Captain. Fizkip III: ¡°Well everyone¡¡± Thief: ¡°She got some riddle of some place to go an-¡± As both Fizkip III and the thief are in the middle of finishing their sentences, the Captain grabs a gun out of her pocket, turns her head, and fires three separate shots, each one striking through each sister devotees head. Blood splatters throughout the hallway and the onlookers panic, especially the thief. Fizkip III seems to be in a state of shock as he stares at the nearly decapitated devotees. The crew all settle in various combat stances. Thief: ¡°Shit! Shit! Shit! Fuck wrong with ya species!?¡± Fizkip III falls to the ground still staring at his now deceased devotees. As the Captain walks toward them. Captain: ¡°If there is one thing I know about Romance. It¡¯s that he doesn¡¯t come to you.¡± The Captain walks past the deceased devotees, but as she passes them by she kicks them. Out of their robes roll out black orbs with simple markings on them to the ones used to explode the tower. She continues on through the hallway to the end door. Captain: ¡°He makes you come to him.¡± The Captain kicks the door at the end of the hallway down. [Scene: Romance is laying on a inclined chair eating some type of large fruit. He has a trio of musicians to the side of him playing a very upbeat tune. The room is fairly small, not much bigger than one¡¯s personal room in a house. It lacks few windows and has the entire walls painted with murals. There are ¡°bug lights¡± hanging down from the ceiling like chandeliers. In front of Romance is a large desk and a small book case right to the side. There are also various plants around the room as decoration.] The Captain stares across the room directly at Romance. In turn Romance puts his large fruit down, and swallows what is left in his mouth as he begins to clap. Romance: ¡°You never refrain from astonishing me.¡± Romance pushes himself up as he begins to walk toward the Captain. Romance: ¡°I was almost convinced that the element of surprise would be on my side.¡± Captain: ¡°Where is Corsica?¡± Unfazed, Romance continues walking toward the Captain. Romance: ¡°She is safely in my possession.¡± The Captain runs up to Romance, grabs him, and slams him against the wall. The rest of the crew watch behind in an unfazed manner, except for Devonte who seems a bit tense. Captain: ¡°You clearly don¡¯t understand my question. I was asking you where you¡¯ve seen her last?¡± Romance: ¡°If you want I can lead you to where she resides.¡± Captain: ¡°Corsica may be reckless and stupid, but she isn¡¯t incompetent. She wouldn¡¯t let a imbecile like you get the best of her.¡± Romance tilts his head to the side to look behind the Captain and at her crew. Romance: ¡°New recruit? Certainly doesn¡¯t seem seasoned enough.¡± The Captain punches Romance in the face. Captain: ¡°I know that these bullets are worthless toward you, but there are still a million different ways I can make you bleed. Stop fucking around and tell me where Corsica went!¡± Romance reaches into his pocket and pulls out at a playing card that is numbered ¡°11¡±. This catches the Captain¡¯s attention as she pauses for a few seconds. Romance: ¡°Shall we be off now?¡± Screen immediately becomes black. Act 1 | Movement 4 [Scene: The view is underwater. The camera is pointed up at the sky. The sun is extremely visible and lights up the surrounding waters. Suddenly a figury shadow appears and dives head first in the water. It is of Coris who seems to be unconscious. Her top half of her body seems to be dunked into this body of water. Her eyes open up and she gives a very distressed expression as she screams and struggles to breathe. She is then pulled up out of the water. The scene changes to her now being outside. She is in a dense (near) tropical forest right by a river. Coris is sitting with her legs out and her palms down supporting her body. Zizi is standing right next to her.] Coris: ¡°How long was I out?¡± Zizi: ¡°About fifteen minutes.¡± Coris looks at her surroundings and notices that the city she was just at in the distance. It seems to be two miles away. One can still see the piling smoke and even flames from the destroyed tower. Zizi: ¡°Nobody followed us. The ones who knew of us are dead. Those who could have cared about us, were distracted.¡± Coris seems calm, at least for someone trying to catch their breath, but then her eyes become wide open. Coris: ¡°The key!? Don¡¯ tell me that slimy fucka has that key!?¡± Zizi: ¡°He doesn¡¯t have shit...but we don¡¯t either¡¡± Coris clenches her fist and seems to be filled with rage. She¡¯s about to yell but then sighs and calms herself, and lays back on the ground. Zizi: ¡°After you got knocked out, I grabbed and coughed up a trick-bomb at Romance¡¯s face. I grabbed the key and ran. I was fast enough to dodge the bullets, but one Romance got himself together he struck his knife at my arm. I may have not dropped you, but I dropped the key.¡± Coris stares at the sky with a neutral expression. Zizi: ¡°The trick-bomb was armed though. After I held you and jumped off the tower, the bomb exploded. Wasn¡¯t enough to kill Romance, but left no chance for the others. The explosion had to launch the key. I was running fast, but I still caught a glimpse of some glimmer heading this direction.¡± Coris turns on her side as if she¡¯s sleeping at the fetal position, Zizi walks past her and takes a couple steps into the wilderness before coming to a pause. Zizi: ¡°I¡¯m sorry you didn¡¯t get more time during your bath, but it wants to be found.¡± Zizi continues onwards as Coris begins to stand up and follow him. [Scene: A large rainforest like location with tons of trees and countless foliage. Despite the sun being out, it is raining. The rain drops make small rainbow flashes throughout the area. There are multiple small animals and bugs about, but they clear away once Zizi and Coris pass by. In the distance, one can no longer see the city, due to the thickness of the amount of trees. Coris and Zizi walk through the dense forest.] Coris: ¡°You know if it were this far it would have found its way to us by now.¡± Zizi: ¡°You¡¯re onto something chip.¡± Coris: ¡°Why keep going? We should be turn back and search other areas.¡± Zizi: ¡°We couldn¡¯t be far from its trajectory. If it had a way it would have found us.¡± Coris: ¡°What¡¯s your god damn point?¡± Zizi stops and turns toward Coris. Zizi: ¡°It¡¯s a runaway. Get it? It doesn¡¯t want to be found by us. It knows our plan now. That it would go to Romance. You think that¡¯s the life it wants? With that lame fuck? Pft. Hell no. He has no vision. Passion? Yes. But vision...vision brings about the context. And he contextually sucks and it knows that. Standing dumbfounded as well as a bit angry, Coris rolls her eyes as she begins to walk toward Zizi. Coris: ¡°It ain¡¯t gonna hide here much less up there. The city is there, up here is nothing but a bunch of trees and shit!¡± A loud squishy sound is briefly heard. Coris stops and looks at the floor. It seems that she managed to step on dung on the ground. Coris: ¡°Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!¡± As Coris hops off the pile of poo and kicks her leg out in an attempt to flick it away, Zizi walks toward it for a closer look. Zizi: ¡°This is fresh.¡± Coris: ¡°Well aren¡¯t you Mr. Fucking-Observant!¡± Zizi turns his head observing the area, as Coris walks to a nearby rock scraping off the poo of her shoe. Coris: ¡°Never took you for a scatophile.¡± Zizi: ¡°It¡¯s not the scat that interests me.¡± Zizi grabs a thick leaf and claws it with his hand. He then grabs another nearby leaf by a small pile and picks it up. The picked up leaf has streaks of poo on it. Zizi: ¡°It¡¯s what it¡¯s on.¡± Coris: ¡°...so you¡¯re collecting it now?¡± Zizi: ¡°This was used to wipe. Dumb creatures don¡¯t wipe. This was left by something with smarts.¡± Zizi drops both leaves on the ground. Zizi: ¡°The key went this way, it is gone, something with smarts was here, now it¡¯s gone, put two and two together.¡± Coris tilts her head down. She continues to walk in the direction her and Zizi were walking in before. Zizi joins her just a few seconds later. Coris: ¡°So which way do we go.¡± Zizi: ¡°As deep as we need to go.¡± [Scene: The scene changes as sound of thunder roars. The rain changes from a drizzle to a pour. It is much darker now due to the heavier clouds and the sun being near twilight. One can see a long line of footprints from the top to the bottom of the screen caused by Zizi and Coris. The camera pans down until the duo is visible. They are sitting right across from one another, sitting under a makeshift umbrella that consists of a long stick with a couple very large and thick levels attached to it. These makeshift umbrellas are anchored directly into the ground where they won¡¯t move.] Zizi is kneeling down on the ground holding a pointy rock. He seems to be drawing something. It is shown that he is drawing a picture of him holding what seems to be an axe, while riding the giant bird-like creature he was riding earlier, as he is fighting many of the various creatures he¡¯s encountered in the city. This would normally seem amusing or even humorous, if it wasn¡¯t for how incredibly detailed and impressive the artwork was, especially for it being in the mud. Zizi snickers from time to time while drawing. Across from him is Coris who has laid out a few large piles of leaves like a mat, with the bag Zizi was previously carrying to her side. She has placed a few rows of cards that cover up the mat from top to bottom. There is a deck of cards at the far side of the mat, as well as the cards she is holding. It seems that this is a single player card game much like solitaire. She stares at the cards on the mat as she ponders what to do. After a couple seconds, she then looks at the hand she is holding and shakes her head. She reaches to grab another card and turns it over. It is a card numbered ¡°11¡±. Coris smiles and tries to contain her joy. She then hunches over and smacks the card down on at the end of one of the rows, when an even louder noise can suddenly be heard. She is alerted and looks to her side. She sees a spear sticking out of the tree right next to her. She immediately jumps and rolls forward, while Zizi charges toward where the spear was thrown. Zizi: ¡°There!¡± Coris grabs her cards and places them with care in the bag. She then clenches the bag and sprints toward Zizi¡¯s direction. She runs through the forest in the same direction for a few seconds when she notices she has lost Zizi. Coris: ¡°Did you get them!? Zizi!?¡± Zizi: ¡°Th...pla¡.cat...!¡± It is difficult to hear Zizi who has managed to gained quite the distance from Coris¡¯s delayed start. She picks up the pace even more to close the distance. Coris: ¡°I can¡¯t understand a damn thing coming out of your mouth!¡± Due to running for a few more seconds at the increased speed Coris has seemed to considerably close the distance. Zizi: ¡°I s...id...at their plan was to catch us!¡± As she process what Zizi says, Coris seems to run over a set trap and has her feet wrapped around a rope and is launched in the air. She tumbles back down as she hangs from a tree. She bounces around due to the impact of the ¡°land¡±. She manages to harshly bump Zizi who is notably more still as he is positioned right next to her. After a couple seconds, Coris begins to straighten out. Both Coris and Zizi have irritated expressions on their faces. Zizi: ¡°I said that their plan was-¡± Coris: ¡°to catch us I know!¡± As Coris stays flustered, she notices that Zizi is still and silent. Curious, she looks in front of her, and sees figure standing in place. After a few seconds she can focus her eyes and sees that it¡¯s some type of creature. It looks very similar to most of the others she saw in the city, particularly in the run down parts. It seems to be the most similar to raptor but with not quite as long of a body and is relatively short with a small frame. It¡¯s feathers are a dark red/brown color. The creature is wearing only a skirt and has various painted markings on its body. They have a strap on their shoulder that leads to a quiver which holds various spears for throwing. Zizi begins clapping slowly. Zizi: ¡°Congrats. You caught us. The method was simple, amateur, but you caught us.¡± Zizi puts out his hand. Zizi: ¡°Put ¡®er there!¡± The captor just stands and stares and Zizi. Coris: ¡°They¡¯re not that dumb Zizi.¡± Zizi: ¡°It was worth a shot.¡± Zizi puts his hand down. The captor walks up to the duo and then kneels down as they search through their quiver. They pull out a large net and then throw it at Zizi, it quickly encases him. They then do the same to Coris. Coris: ¡°You think you¡¯ll really be able to carry both of us through this jungle?¡± Coris lets out a laugh. Coris: ¡°Good luck with that.¡± The captor holds up their hand in the air and snaps with their index and middle finger. Immediately, four other creatures similar to the captor, but notably larger, emerge from the dense foliage of the forest. Coris gives an expressionless look. [Scene: The scene changes to that of a large old spiral shaped tower. It seems to be about nine stories in height and has plenty of various markings and drawings on it. However, these all seemed to have aged substantially. The stone of the tower is very worn as it is in a very faded green color, while the drawings and markings are very washed out. The top of the pyramid are a series of stairs that climb down below to the ground floor. There are dozens of buildings built out of the same worn out stone with the same type of worn out markings and drawings. However, these buildings aren¡¯t anywhere as grandiose as the previously described tower. While they tend to be circular in their base as well, they only seem to stand only about three stories at most, and the markings and drawings are far less common and seem to be done with less ambition. Throughout the area are also other buildings that are similar in nature, however are made of a bamboo like substance, and tend to be built right next to what seems to be a previous stone-made building that is now in ruins. All of these buildings seem to be built in a town square fashion, as dozens of residents walk around the area. The residents all look similar to the captors who were in the previous scene. Unlike, those in the city, life here seems to be much more slower. While there are markets and other commodity shops, they don¡¯t seem so dominate in life. Most residents seem to be focused talking with others or doing work and other projects in or around their home. There is also a large body of water that runs through the center of town that flows right past it. Upon closer observation, it is a river source. A dozen or so residents are bathing in the water with a few of them drinking it.The outskirts of the town are nothing but deep and dense jungle forest. The previous storm has also seems to have passed as the rain is now only a very light drizzle.] The captors of the duo walk into the entrance of the town. One of them holds the net that contains Zizi over their shoulder. Another holds the duo¡¯s bag with one arm with a tight grip. The captor in the back, the one that the duo originally saw, is pulling on a rope with both arms, the rope leads to the net that contains Coris who seems to be restless inside of it. Coris: ¡°Are we here!? This the place!? Who¡¯s the asshole who¡¯s gonna to get stomped?!¡± A figure from the top of the largest tower notices the group arriving. They run into a nearby large horn and quickly give out a deep blow. The loud roar from the horn echoes across the village. The residents stop what they are doing as they take notice of the loud echoing wail. The captors begin walking again as they take Zizi and Coris through the town. As they drag them along (one of them literally) the townsfolk give out an intrigued stare. Coris: ¡°Fuck you looking at!?¡±Stolen story; please report. Eventually the group reaches the entrance of the tower. They come to a stop. The one dragging Coris¡¯s body comes to a stop. He lets go of the bag. Coris immediately rolls around, attempting to escape. The captor raises their right hand and snaps their index and middle fingers together three times. The ground begins to shake violently. It shakes so hard that Coris is pushed back to behind her captor. The large tower begins to part as it literally split in half. After some seconds it stops and a large stairway is revealed that seems to go underground. The captors move forward with one carrying Zizi over their shoulder and the other dragging Coris on the floor. As they go down the staircase Coris¡¯s head hits each stair going down as she demonstrates her unease with the obnoxious pain. The stair ways are shiny like marble but have a saturated green color, the walls are the same only with a slightly lighter green tint. There are also rows of torches that light the stairway. However, the torches aren¡¯t shades orange, but rather green. After a couple dozen steps the captors eventually reach what seems to be the leveled floor. [Scene: A large hallway that extends about two hundred feet. In the sides of it are various large pillars that connect to the ceiling. Each pillar has large amount of markings on it. In between these pillars are bodies of water, kind of a slimmer version of what is up on the town. The hallways ends to a stairway that leads to a throne. On the throne sits a bird like creature wearing a long loincloth and having a thick satchel, while having multiple markings on on their body as if they were substituting for clothes. In other words, this creature looks just like the one that oversaw the end result of the destruction Zizi and Coris had sought. Standing next to him are three disciplined guards to the right, and three other to the left. Each are dressed in robes and wearing masks, while holding what looks to be a halberd. Soon the captors reach about twenty feet from the entrance of the throne.] Throne Sitter: ¡°Is this the one? The wench who has been causing so much trouble?¡± Coris: ¡°Wench!?¡± Coris attempts to stand up but falls down on her face as the net doesn¡¯t allow enough space. She then gets on her knees and kneels up. Coris: ¡°Motherfucka who you calling ¡®wench¡¯?¡± Captor: ¡°Silence! Such disrespect will not be tolerated!¡± Coris: ¡°Fuck off! You only caught us because of your bullshit tricks!¡± Captor: ¡°I will cut off your tongue!¡± Coris: ¡°You¡¯d regret not cutting of my limbs as soon as I get out of this fucking net!¡± The sound of a dark cowbell echoes the room. The captors, Coris, and Zizi look at the Throne Sitter and see that he is shaking some type of archaic bell. Throne Sitter: ¡°It seems that I have gathered your attention. That is good.¡± Coris bites the bottom of her lip. Throne Sitter: ¡°We are very blunt people, very direct. So I¡¯ll just be very forward with this.¡± Zizi puts one of his hands under his chin, demonstrating that he is intrigued. Throne Sitter: ¡°We know what you two did. We know that you destroyed our tower. Killed our men. We know about your dealings with that insufferable insect.¡± Coris: ¡°Insect?¡± The Captor immediately pulls out a knife. Throne Sitter: ¡°Pay it no mind.¡± Captor: ¡°But my Lord such disrespect!¡± Throne Sitter: ¡°Pay it no mind!¡± The Throne Sitter focuses on Coris who seems to be a bit puzzled. Throne Sitter: ¡°The purple one who can¡¯t keep his mouth shut.¡± Coris: ¡°Romance?¡± Coris shakes her head. Coris: ¡° ¡®Insect¡¯ does him no justice. I prefer ¡®shitstain¡¯ or ¡®retard¡¯.¡± Throne Sitter: ¡°Argue semantics if you like, but he is not trustworthy. He¡¯s a swindler who has betrayed us.¡± Coris lets out laugh and continues to do so while the Throne Sitter is talking. Throne Sitter: ¡°We made an arrangement. He supplied us with his advanced weapons from his homeland and some of his brawn, and we would repay him with pleasure and soft power.¡± Coris continues to laugh. The sound of her laughter echoes throughout the room. It is shown that Zizi is laughing as well but is doing his best to hide it. The captors seem to be bothered, especially the one that was pulling Coris as they are grinding their teeth. The Throne Sitter looks at Coris curiously. Throne Sitter: ¡°What is it that you find so funny?¡± Coris: ¡°That you trusted him to begin with. Dumbass looks like a straight up conman first glance.¡± A cocky smile covers Coris¡¯s face. Coris: ¡°It really says a lot about your judgement that he was able talk his way by you.¡± The captors gag. Zizi chuckles. And the hall falls silent. Throne Sitter: ¡°Well we all misjudge. If I recall you fell to his stratagem.¡± Coris looks confused. Coris: ¡°Stra-wha?¡± Throne Sitter: ¡°He got one ¡®over¡¯ you did he not?¡± Coris: ¡°That¡¯s different. We knew he was going to doublecross us from the start. We just didn¡¯t realize he had a private fucking army at his disposal.¡± Throne Sitter: ¡°True...but unlike us in which he is a mere stranger of, you dwellers have known this individual for much longer. You should have known what he was capable of.¡± Coris: ¡°Not capable of having a damn army!¡± Throne Sitter: ¡°But regardless he did didn¡¯t he? And on top of that you didn¡¯t just happen to stumble upon him in the thick dark. You were led to him. Passed by his allies, saw the scope of his power. And after seeing him, in such an ascended state. You did not bother to become apprehensive of your strategy or even attempt to become more cautious of your surroundings?¡± The Throne Sitter readjusts himself on his seat, making himself more comfortable. Throne Sitter: ¡°That to me is a valid concern for judgement.¡± Coris gives off a highly irritated expression and spits off the side of her mouth into the pool of water beside her. Zizi seems distraught and exhales. Throne Sitter: ¡°You would like to face him again as reprisal, correct?¡± Coris just stares at the ground with an irritated look. Throne Sitter: ¡°I recognize that you don¡¯t have much time to be here. Word is a small company is looking for you.¡± Coris¡¯s eyes widen and she quickly lifts her head up and looks at the Throne Sitter. ZIzi also pays attention. Throne Sitter: ¡°Oh, I have your attention now? Yes, a small band of unique species. One with an appearance just like you. They¡¯ve been asking around town.¡± Zizi: ¡°Oh shit.¡± Throne Sitter: ¡°However, judging from their tactics and this whole arc that surrounds yourself, they aren¡¯t hunting to kill you. But to capture you, possibly to obtain something from you.¡± The Throne Sitter reaches into his satchel and pulls a glowing object out. It is the key that is now illuminating orange. Throne Sitter: ¡°Does this peculiar object happen to be it?¡± Both Coris and Zizi¡¯s eyes widen. They immediately dish out desperate attempts to break out of their nets. They flail around but have no luck. The Throne sitter begins laughing while the captors chuckle. Captor: ¡°Those nets are made of the strongest material known. You haven¡¯t got a chance of breaking it.¡± As she rolls around, Coris eventually falls into the pool of water that was some feet to her left. She is in such a frenzied state, that she barely seems to care or even notice that she is in the water, she continues to attempt to break free from the net. However, she keeps sinking. After a couple of feet, she stops trying to break it. She looks around and attempts to assess her situation. She doesn¡¯t see much of anything but black due to their being no light in the water. She then begins trying to break the net again, likely to prevent her from drowning. Suddenly, a bright light illuminates Coris, as if headlights are shot at her. Coris looks to her right to see a large green light approaching her. She then feels a strong impact and is pushed up to the surface. She is thrown into the air and lands on the floor. Zizi: ¡°Get your hands off me! Get off me! Get off!¡± Zizi is near the edge of the pool where Coris fell off. He is held down by three captors, though not by the one who dragged Coris in. Zizi looks up and sees Coris to which he begins to calm down . A moment later the captors let go of him. Coris seems confused. Throne Sitter: ¡°If this is what you two are seeking you can have it. However, you will need to do something for me first.¡± Zizi: ¡°What do you want?¡± Throne Sitter: ¡°¡®Romance¡¯.¡± Zizi: ¡°I¡¯m flattered.¡± Zizi puts out a fake blush. Throne Sitter: ¡°He wants this object. He likely believes you have this object. Or more accurately will not question if you say you do.¡± Zizi: ¡°I see where this is going.¡± Coris: ¡°You want to use us as bait?¡± The Throne Sitter sits in silence and just stares at Coris. After a moment Coris lets out a chuckle and a smile while Zizi cracks a laugh. Coris: ¡°There¡¯s nothing more I want than to smash is his face. Of course we¡¯ll help you.¡± The Throne Sitter continues to sit and stare at Coris without saying anything. Coris: ¡°Uh...I said we¡¯ll help you!¡± Zizi: ¡°Coris.¡± Coris turns around and looks back at Zizi who lifts up his arm and puts his hand against his head. Zizi: ¡°Think.¡± Throne Sitter: ¡°One doesn¡¯t earn the title ¡®Elder God¡¯ by being aloof. I realize that once I cut those nets, either one of you would take the first slight opportunity to kill me and my men and take this...stone of yours.¡± The Elder God takes an acute whistle out of his satchel. He puts it toward his mouth and blows. A very high pitch sound echoes across the room as it sounds like nails on a chalkboard. Coris and Zizi cover their ears while everyone else seems unscathed. Seconds later a large figure leaps straight up from the pool and rests on top of the ledge. The figure is shaped similar to a slug, but seems deflated. It has a slightly transparent body but with fluscorent green light shining off of it. It stays lying deflated like a balloon with little air. Coris and Zizi stare at it. Zizi: ¡°It doesn¡¯t look...well...¡± The creature on the floor begins to make strange noises, it then proceeds to inflate itself to become much larger. It now looks much like like whale, only with no eyes and very sharp teeth. It opens its mouth up for an exotic roar. Coris turns to the Elder God. Coris: ¡°Hey! We said we would help!¡± The Elder God ignores Coris. With the key in hand, he pulls his arm back and throws it to the creature. It opens opens its mouth, catches, then shuts its jaws. The illuminating light on its body changes from green to cyan. It then slides back in the pool. Coris: ¡°What the fuck!? What the fuck is wrong with you!? Shit! We said we were fucking going to fucking help!¡± Zizi: ¡°Coris.¡± Coris turns back to Zizi. Coris: ¡°What!?¡± Zizi puts his hand up to his temple. Zizi: ¡°Think.¡± Coris turns back to the Elder God. Elder God: ¡°Do you think I would destroy something so sought after? That animal is nothing but another one of my servants. I summon him once again, and I retrieve the valuable. She was raised by me and my closest men since birth. She was trained, nourished, and disciplined. It¡¯s suffice to say that the only way she will give it back, is if I contact her.¡± The Elder God picks up his whistle and wiggles it. Coris looks to the side, deliberately not making eye contact with the Elder God. Coris: ¡°So, when and where do you want us to meet him so you¡¯ll do the ambush?¡± The Elder God chuckles. Elder God: ¡°Ambush? No. No. Our pride goes too deep for such petty tactics. I have something much more intricate.¡± [Scene: Coris and Zizi are still in their nets. They are lying on top of a circular field. Long grass surrounds the area, but it seems to have been pushed down toward the ground as it lays in an angle. The field is wrapped around large stones that are positioned above and beside one another like bleachers. They seem to stack up for a dozen feet or so. On top of the stones stand various high ranking members who are under the command of the Elder God.] The Elder God¡¯s underling who was carrying Corsica seems to be in the highest stone. He takes out an arrow from his quiver. He lowers the tip of the arrow down to another member directly below him. They reach in their pockets and pull out some type of wet gray clay and press it on the tip of the arrow. Once smothered, the underling then proceeds angle the arrow down so it touches the edge of the stone he is standing on. He bends down and grabs a rock near by. He hits it against the stone in a circular motion with the tip of the arrow in between. Suddenly, the clay like substance on the arrow catches fire. He picks up the arrow and aims it right at Zizi. He fires and it hits directly at one of the strands of the net. As a result the net quickly catches fire. Zizi: ¡°Hey! Hey! Hey!¡± Zizi continues to scream as the heat from the fire causes discomfort. Soon the clay begins to drip on Zizi, like loose candle wax, and as a result it burns some of his ¡°skin¡±. As he screams, the underling gets another arrow ready and then points it to Coris. Coris: ¡°Asshole! We¡¯re here to help!¡± He shoots the arrow at Coris, which just like Zizi, hits the net and lights it on fire, and achieves the same results. However, Coris does a better job at hiding her screams. After a couple seconds, the entire net is burnt off with only the piece of clay-like substance still ablaze. It falls on Coris¡¯s lap to which she quickly brushes it off. She looks beside her to see Zizi standing up right. Coris then begins to stand up herself, facing the Elder God¡¯s company. Coris: ¡°You¡¯ve ever heard of fucking knife!?¡± Underling on Highest Point: ¡°Sub Elder.¡± Coris looks confused. Coris: ¡°What!?¡± Underling on Higher Point: ¡°You may refer to me as the ¡®Sub Elder¡¯.¡± Coris: ¡°Sub-suck a dick! What the hell are we doing out here anyways!?¡± Sub Elder: ¡°We¡¯re executing a test.¡± Four other underlings are dragging along a large cage with wheels on the bottom. Ruffling and rumbling can be heard inside. They walk toward the circular field Coris and Zizi are in. Upon reaching there they come to a stop. Zizi seems amused by the situation, while Coris doesn¡¯t take her attention off of the Sub Elder. Coris: ¡°Test for what? And why wouldn¡¯t you just use a knife?¡± Sub Elder: ¡°That material is the toughest ever known. No known substance can cut it, it an only be burnt.¡± Coris begins to calm herself. Sub Elder: ¡°I¡¯m going to be upfront about this. We want, if not need, your Romance dead. Like you he betrayed us, and he has sided with the king. The problem is that he fully is expecting one of us to come and retaliate. And even if we do so ourselves, we will have the enemy on high alert of our presence.¡± Coris: ¡°What the hell are you talking about? You care about making it known that you are out to get them? That¡¯s obvious.¡± Sub Elder: ¡°They know that we will strike but not when.¡± The underlings by the cage go to the front door and begin to open it. Zizi looks at the cage excited, Coris still pays no mind to it. Sub Elder: ¡°He has a soft spot for you does he not? I heard that he spoke of you fondly while he was expecting you. He¡¯ll lay his guard down toward you, even given the context. We¡¯re not sure if you¡¯ll even fight, but we need you to be at least competent enough to, hence the test.¡± Coris seems annoyed and doesn¡¯t let her gaze off of the Sub Elder. Zizi stares at the cage in front of him with an amused look on his face. The underlings gradually unlock the cage by pulling bolt by bolt. The cage rattles throughout. All of the subordinates surrounding the Sub Elder ready their bow and arrows and point them at the entrance of the cage. As soon as the last bolt is taken out, the cage bursts open. Out hops out a large panther-like creature. It stands at around four feet in height and seven feet in length. It has silky black fur throughout its body, and a thick black mane. Its eyes are a light neon pink with dark black pupils. A few inches down is its large snout and long fang-like teeth. The animal lets out a loud roar. As the bow wielding subordinates stay focus and Zizi looks even more amused. Sub Elder: ¡°Begin!¡± The large creature charges toward Coris who seems to pay it no mind. It quickly leaps onto her and pushes her to the ground. In just a moment, Coris punches into the animal¡¯s mouth and proceeds to grab its tongue and rips it out. She then kicks its head multiple times until it ceases to move. After a few seconds, she turns back to the Sub Elder, in which he has an emotionless expression, while his subordinates seem to be shocked. Without warning, the Sub Elder cracks a smile. Sub Elder: ¡°Fantastic! Just as described.¡± Zizi sighs with a bored look his face. Coris turns toward the Sub Elder. Coris: ¡°Just cut the shit and tell me where he is!¡± The Sub Elder gives an amused look. Coris looks visibly angry and walks up toward him as she walks up the large stones. Coris: ¡°Listen asshole! The only reason why you¡¯re still breathing is collateral. Just tell me where he is!¡± The Sub Elder lets out a smile. Sub Elder: ¡°Of course.¡± The Sub Elder begins walking up toward the top to leveled ground. Coris stares at him and spits to her side, as she then begins to follow him. [Scene: A shot of sizable plains that cover around a dozen acres. Surrounding it are dense trees and foliage from the forest. It marks this place as some type of oasis. Throughout this area are multiple huge bird-like creatures, just like the one that initially transported Coris and Zizi to the city. They seem to be simply going about their day as they are either resting, interacting with one another, or simply just walking around. The Sub Elder appears to enter the area, in which Coris and Zizi follow.] Sub Elder: ¡°This is one of the gatherings they like to go to.¡± The Sub Elder stares at Coris. Sub Elder: ¡°You recognize these creatures correct?¡± Coris stares at Zizi, implying that he shouldn¡¯t say what¡¯s on his mind. Sub Elder: ¡°The official term for them is ¡®Orocella¡¯. But we simply call them ¡®Orocs¡¯. They provide us with transportation, we repay them in patronage.¡± The Sub Elder puts two fingers in his mouth and lets out a loud whistle. Quickly two orocs fly his way. They land on the ground only half a dozen feet in front of him. Oroc 1: ¡°It¡¯s highly disrespectful not addressing one by name.¡± Sub Elder: ¡°Where are my manners? The Sub Elder turns his head to look toward Coris and Zizi. Sub Elder: ¡°Coris and Zizi, I introduce to you to Galven Granowzk and beside him Johten Bellows. They have been informed of the mission and will be your transporters. They will take you to point where you will be given detailed information on the tactics and the target¡¯s whereabouts. ¡± Galven: ¡°Please to meet you.¡± Both Galven and Johten bow toward Coris and Zizi in a courteous manner. Despite this, Coris and Zizi do not bow back, and give a skeptical look on their faces. The two orocs rise back up. Johten: ¡°It seems that your friends are taking after your manners.¡± Sub Elder: ¡°And I¡¯m proud of it.¡± Coris: ¡°Where¡¯s my stuff!?¡± The Sub Elder looks toward the two orocs once more. Sub Elder: ¡°Proud of it.¡± The Sub Elder walks toward Corsica and puts two fingers in his mouth. He lets out a loud whistle. One of his underlings runs toward him from the narrow entrance to plains that is surrounded by trees. The underling seems to be carrying a sizable bag with one of his arms. About 20 feet away from where the others stand, the underling quickly stops, braces with his arm back and throws the bag their way. The bag lands right beside Coris. She wastes no time in immediately opening the bag and inspecting it. She takes out each one of her items. The items are three of the trick-bombs, a sapphire colored card, a platinum colored gun, and a deck of her previous cards which seem to be stuck together as if they are magnetic. Coris briefly inspects each item and stuffs it into her pocket. Except for the deck of cards. She looks at it carefully. The top of the deck starts off at twenty one and each card counts down from there. She looks each card one by one, as she goes through cards number twenty, nineteen, eighteen, seventeen, and sixteen. Galven: ¡°We have quite a flight ahead of us young lady. I would appreciate it if you would make haste.¡± Coris spreads out all the cards to see the remaining numbers. Fifteen, fourteen, she sees the three from thirteen as the previous card covers the one. The same with twelve, eleven, and ten. Coris then looks toward Galven and gives him a nasty look. She proceeds put the cards in her pocket and stand up to walk towards Galven. Zizi follow suite and walks toward Johten. Johten: ¡°Climb aboard younglings, there¡¯s no time to waste.¡± Zizi puts his hand towards his mouth and pretends to blush. Zizi: ¡°Oh I¡¯m flattered.¡± Coris jumps on Galven¡¯s back, while Zizi does the same to Johten. Coris looks toward Johten. Coris: ¡°Don¡¯t let him fool you. He may act young, but both his age and mind are anything but.¡± Zizi: ¡°Pfft. You¡¯re making it sound like I¡¯m a fossil.¡± Both Galven and Johten look at the Sub Elder. All three of them nod at one another as they have an understanding. Coris and Zizi seem to just be getting comfortable up on top of the the orocs backs. Galven: ¡°Are you ready young lady?¡± Coris: ¡°I¡¯ve been ready.¡± Johten: ¡°And you young at heart? Zizi: ¡°Of course.¡± Both Galven and Johten turn to the left and take a few steps back. They then begin to jog which gradually turns into a sprint. A few seconds later they jump high into the air and begin to soar across the sky. The Sub Elder stands and watches the two orocs fly into the distance as his underling approaches behind him. Underling: ¡°May I inquire you with a question sir?¡± Sub Elder: ¡°Not at all.¡± Underling: ¡°We already captured them. Why not just come us?¡± Sub Elder: ¡°We kept pointing that out, but to no success. He¡¯s quite the odd fellow in a number of ways. He¡¯s very particular about having those he seeks come to him, not the other way around.¡± Act 1 | Movement 5 [Scene: A large sea surrounds the coast of a busy district of the city. It stretches far beyond the eye can see. About a few miles off the coast sits a large ocean mount that towers over the surface at around 170 feet, and is about 400 feet length. Like much of the mountains and bluffs on land, the ocean mount is crafted into such a way that it is used as a building. The rock is carved down to create windows, and thus presumably rooms and hallways. Unlike the other buildings in the coast, this ocean mount is decorated with multiple large flags and is heavily guarded with troops. These troops can be flying in the sky riding orocs, or have a flying ability of their own such as the pterodactyl-like creatures. There are also those surrounding the mount in the sea riding some type of serpents. The troops themselves wear helmets covering their entire face and armored vests. Each are equipped either with a sword, spear, or a halberd. Despite their lack of visibility, one can see that they belong to a variety of different species. It¡¯s seems to be a few hours past noon as the sun¡¯s brightness is enough to give everything a white tint. Around two thirds way between the coast and the mount we can see the Captain and her crew riding a giant sea turtle alongside Romance and three of his troops. His troops have their hands hovering around their weapons, ready to strike at any time. Romance seems relaxed and carefree. The Captain seems irritated while her crew seems focused as they are prepared for anything to happen. There is also Devonte who seems to be no more than a wallflower as he tries his best not to stand out.] The Captain looks at one of the three troops who is sitting beside Romance. She eyes their hand hovering over their weapon. Captain: ¡°Must be tired holding your hand in place like that. Must hurt even.¡± The Captain looks toward Romance. Captain: ¡°I can kill them whenever I want. As can my crew. Even you aren¡¯t that dense. You know that.¡± Romance is staring off at the sea. Romance: ¡°There are others uses for guards besides guarding.¡± Romance turns toward the Captain and smilies. Romance: ¡°They look fucking cool.¡± The guards seems to be a bit shaken up, but are trying their best to hide that fact. The Captain shows no emotion to the statement. Enya: ¡°That very well explains the trio. However, it is up ahead that perplexes me. The sky and the waters are covered with these ¡®guards¡¯.¡± Romance: ¡°You really did not get much info about this place huh?¡± Romance turns toward the ocean mount. Romance: ¡°That mount right there, is the palace of Lisbala. Lisbala being the city or err state we are in. Stories similar to any other empire. Powerful tribesman conquers another tribe, forces them to join him, which they do so again once they encounter other, even larger tribes, and so on and so forth until one comes out on top.¡± Enya: ¡°That fails to explain the most perplexing issue.¡± Romance: ¡°Hmm?¡± Enya: ¡°If they are defending themselves from other tribes, why are the soldiers positioned primarily toward the city and not away from it? One would presume that a foreign tribe would come by sea.¡± Romance turns to face Enya and chuckles and taps his index finger to his temple. Romance: ¡°Smart woman.¡± Alistur: ¡°One must remember the larger territory, the more difficult it is to keep order.¡± Romance lets out a slow clap. Alistur: ¡°Surely there are at least dozens of major species populate this metro alone. Each well versed in their own customs, manners, virtues, and beliefs. Seldom does one disassociate from such crucial matters.¡± Dark Prince: ¡°You¡¯re forgetting the most important thing cared for.¡± Alistur: ¡°Oh?¡± Enya and Alistur both face Dark Prince. Dark Prince: ¡°History.¡± [Scene: The giant sea turtle enters through a canal inside the palace. After a brief moment of the sight of soft darkness and stone, light begins to reach their eyes. The inside of the palace is revealed. The first thing one notices is the vastness of its scale. This entrance leads to a room that takes up roughly a fourth of the entire mount¡¯s size. The entire ceiling is covered in what looks to be chandeliers made out of those bugs in jars. However, they are all of a different color and are encased in something much more classy, that is in the shape of a large pearl. Throughout this vast area there are multiple ramps and bridges to other rooms. Many span across the room from one end to the other, which has the ceililng look like a spider web. It is uncertain how many ¡°doors¡± there are carved in from the room but it seems to be dozens. Below, just ten feet above the sealevel are two 30 x 30 checkered tiled floors that are adjacent from one another. They each have ramps leading to the water so those boarding in can access them. Throughout the floor, halls, ramps, and even in the air are dozens of visible troops, each following the tasks they¡¯ve been assigned. The giant sea turtle slows down as it approaches the the ramp to the left.] Romance: ¡°We have arrived!¡± Romance leaps off the boat and onto the ramp. He turns around toward the Captain and her crew who gradually get off the boat, with the Captain being the first. Romance grabs the front of his fedora-like hat and tips it slightly down. Romance: ¡°Welcome to-!¡± Captain: ¡°Where¡¯s Corsica?¡± Romance pauses and lets out a smile. Romance: ¡°Right this way!¡± The Captain and her crew are led by Romance up the steps and through the exit doors of the shuttle entrance. Through the doors is a lengthy hallway with multiple rooms on each side. Soldiers go in and out through each room as they perform what seem to be daily assigned tasks. At the end of the hall is a large staircase about two dozen feet across. At the entrance of the large staircase waits a large triceratops-like creature who is well dressed in uniform and seems to be decorated. Romance and the Captain¡¯s crew eventually approach this soldier. Well Decorated Soldier: ¡°You¡¯re late.¡¯ Romance: ¡°I¡¯m not exactly late if I arrive when I want to.¡± The Well Decorated Soldier gives out a highly irritated look. Well Decorated Soldier: ¡°If you were one of my kin I would have you for insubordination. A soldier needs discipline.¡± Romance: ¡°Never been much of soldier.¡± Well Decorated Soldier: ¡°You are clearly not fit to be one.¡± The Well Decorated Soldier looks at the Captain. Well Decorated Soldier: ¡°You are looking for your crewmates yes?¡± Captain: ¡°Yes. Where are they?¡± Well Decorated Soldier: ¡°Eight stories up. In the great chamber.¡± The room grows quiet. Well Decorated Soldier: ¡°Follow me.¡± The Well Decorated Soldier, Romance, the Captain and her crew all climb up the flight of stairs. As they walk up it, parts of it gradually branch out to other pathways leading to other rooms and hallways. Soldiers are seen running both up and down the stairs to and from these branched stairways. As the group progresses up the stairs, it becomes smaller bit by bit. The Well Decorated Soldier faces the Captain. Well Decorated Soldier: ¡°I¡¯m going to be very direct with this. My name is General Verdum and I have a well renowned reputation in these parts. We captured two, of wgi we believe to be your crewmates earlier today. They committed an act of terrorism against one of the most infamous militia groups known as ¡®New Dawn¡¯. Despite initially seeing her as an ¡®enemy of our enemy¡¯, we were informed that she was the key to something very valuable. Something piqued our interest.¡± General Verdum looks toward Romance. General Verdum: ¡°Something described by this hoodlum. There is just one problem.¡± General Verdum looks back at the Captain. General Verdum: ¡°Despite our best efforts, we have no way to make her and her companion talk. That¡¯s where you come in.¡± The Captain begins to laugh. She turns to Romance. Captain: ¡°You¡¯ve really outdone yourself. What in the world have you gotten planned this time?¡± Romance cracks a smile. Romance: ¡°That¡¯s a surprise.¡± The group climbs up a single flight more before entering a hall to their right. They walk down it and are greeted with a grandiose door decorated with large jewels and large pebbles of marble. It is guarded by four large guards. Upon seeing General Verdum approaching, two of them pull the door open, while the other two give out a salute. [Scene: The doors open revealing a room that is very grandiose. The floor is made out of solid marble and stretches across fifty feet. The walls are completely covered in multiple colored gems with various fine paintings placed in-between them. There are another set of large doors on the opposite side of the room that seem to be made of pure marble. The ceiling has a large elegant portrait painted onto it with multiple light-up bugs hanging from them in oval glass tubes like a chandelier. Chairs surround the perimeter of the room with about half of them filled with audience. Facing away from the doorway in the middle of the room is an average height creature wearing a well designed yellow robe. They playing an instrument, one that seems similar to cello, only they are playing it standing up.] The sound of the instrument immediately echoes throughout the palace once the doors are open. So much so it is a miracle that it wasn¡¯t heard before. The music sounds very classical as it is elegant, and has a well crafted change of tempo throughout. General Verdum looks toward the Captain and begins walking forward into the room, the Captain and the others do the same until they stop about eight feet from the musician. The musician continues on for around fifteen more seconds as they finish the song. Musician: ¡°You¡¯re late.¡± General Vendum kneels on the floor. General Vendum: ¡°It took longer to find them then expected your Highness. I beg pardon.¡± Musician: ¡°Is it all of them? Are they all here?¡± General Vendum: ¡°Yes. This is all of them.¡± The musician signals the two patrons in front of him to take his instrument. Once they¡¯ve done so the musician turns around toward General Vendum and the group. The musician is a bird-like creature who looks identical to the Elder God. However, unlike him, the musician is dressed very well in a gaudy outfit complete with a tight fitting orange surcoat that is covered by a large yellow robe. Gems and other jewelry are present throughout his neck and fingers. Upon the musician¡¯s turnaround, General Vendum and Romance take a bow, while the Captain and her crew stay standing. Musician: ¡°I am not accustomed to being disrespected like this. First tardiness and now ignominy.¡± General Vendum: ¡°My apologies sir! They aren¡¯t from here! They do not know our customs!¡± The musician takes a few steps toward the Captain with a perplexed look as he begins to face Romance. Musician: ¡°I initially thought that the buffoon was the boorish I have ever invited here.¡± The musician turns his head to face the Captain. Musician: ¡°But this one, may be prove to be even more special.¡± Captain: ¡°Invite?¡± The musician seems taken aback. Captain: ¡°You didn¡¯t ¡®invite¡± nobody. You''re just holding what I want for ransom.¡± The musician has an irritated look on his face. Musician: ¡°Special.¡± The musician claps his hands three times. Two patrons open up the two large doors on the other side of the room. While everyone still sitting down stands up. The musician heads toward the open doors and signals to the group. Musician: ¡°Come now.¡± General Verdum, Romance, and the Captain and her crew follow the musician who exits through the doors. As the other groups does so as well, those still standing in the room proceed to the exit as well. [Scene: The next room seems to be twenty feet in width but seventy in length. Reflective marble covers the entire floor, and seems almost like a mirror. The walls are carved the smoothest out of all the rooms, with a large mural depicting kings, generals, and large scale battles, that covers all the walls and ceiling. The ceiling seems to go up thirty feet. There is a red carpet that leads directly to a large throne at the end of the room. Behind the throne is a large red curtain that hangs from the ceiling displaying what looks to be a family crest. The carpet sits in-between two very shallow pools of water that are filled with what looks to be roses, both of which are enclosed by silver trim. Hanging from the ceiling are several chandleries of the light bug creatures enclosed in glass. They illuminate up the room giving it a whitish tone. The musician walks the red carpet toward the throne which is decorated in gems.] Musician: ¡°You may be boors. But even boors have some intelligence.¡± The musician sits on the throne without hesitation once he reaches it. Musician: ¡°I am King Soto. I have reigned these lands for the past forty odd years.¡± Captain: ¡°Where¡¯s Corsica?¡± King Soto holds up the palm of his hand in front of him. King Soto: ¡°There is no need to be impatient.¡± King Soto looks toward his soldiers behind the Captain and her crew and gives them a signal. A group of five soldiers dispense and leave the room and begin jogging back to the stairs. As soon as they are out of sight, King Soto looks back to the Captain. King Soto: ¡°My great-grandfather sat on this throne when he was a little older than a child. This land was anarchy. Scattered between countless tribes and warlords competing for territory and power. My great-grandfather was no different, but in one regard. He had vision. A vision of future of a strong unified nation, a unified world. A place where the inhabitants do away with petty ethnic differences and culture, and unite under science and development. That was his dream and he pursued it his entire life, but it wouldn¡¯t be until his last days that it was achieved. Ever since it has been the task of each subsequent heir to keep the state intact and flourishing.¡± The Captain looks uninterested. Captain: ¡°Where¡¯s Corsica?¡± King Soto¡¯s eyes widen as he gives an aggravated look on his face, and pounds the arm of his throne. King Soto: ¡°Don¡¯t you understand!? This land has undergone untold transformation since my great-grandfather created it. Unparalleled technology, comfort, and might that has never been reached! And yet barbarians wish to tear it all down! Surely you can understand?¡± The Captain still looks uninterested. Captain: ¡°Where is Corsica?¡± The king seems visible frustrated, but proceeds to sigh and composes himself. King Soto: ¡°I have been told that you carry a device. One of unmatched power. The power to destroy even the largest towers instantly. Renewable. So miniature that it can fit in one¡¯s pocket.¡± The Captain and her crew all burst out laughing. King Soto and his men are taken aback by this. King Soto: ¡°What in God¡¯s name is so funny!?¡± The Captain turns her head toward Romance. Captain: ¡°What kind of bullshit have you been telling them?" King Soto: ¡°Do not pretend to be ignorant! Everyone saw the explosion! It was well known that New Dawn doesn¡¯t have access to such technology. They¡¯re a radical group that longs for the past, simply a terrorist group. The explosion happened only when your kin entered their quarters!¡±If you discover this narrative on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen. Please report the violation. Captain: ¡°Listen, I don¡¯t know what fairy tales dipshit¡¯s been telling you. But the explosion was nothing more than a simple trick bomb.¡± The Captain reaches in her pocket and pulls out a trick bomb of her own. Captain: ¡°It¡¯s a bomb where you control how powerful the explosion is. You could have leveled the whole building if you wanted.¡± The king looks deep in thought for a moment. He then looks up and signals his soldiers behind him. They each move to the side allowing a four legged creature that is reminiscent of a hippopotamus to enter the room. It walks in a brisk pace carrying a rider who is heavily covered in a veil. The creature jumps into the very shallow pool to the left and continues toward the king. It soon slows its pace until he stops when it is right to the side of him. It sits down allowing the the mysterious rider to fall right in the pool. King Soto: ¡°This ¡®trick bomb¡¯, is this common?¡± The Captain frowns and gives off a face and tone of regret. Captain: ¡°Partly.¡± King Soto: ¡°Is it easy obtain?¡± The Captain is silent with an expressionless face. King Soto: ¡°Would you be willing to retrieve a large sum for me?¡± The Captain turns around and stares at Devonte for a few seconds, she then turns to Romance and does the same. After that she looks forward toward King Soto and shakes her head. The king stands up and walks toward the fallen rider. He rips off the veil and it is revealed to be Coris and Zizi both chained up. They both look badly beaten. During this unveiling the king pulls out a knife and presses it toward Coris¡¯s throat. King Soto: ¡°Will you now reconsider?¡± The Captain¡¯s eyes widen, she turns toward her crewmates who are also highly alert. Alistur grabs Devonte and throws him across the room. While that happens the rest of the crew runs toward Coris and Zizi. Devonte flies up in a fifty degree angle and slams against the wall about twenty feet from the floor. Alistur throws four throwing knives that land an inch away from Devonte¡¯s limbs and penetrate the rock wall. Devonte stays stationary as he coughs up blood. Seeing the crew run for Coris, the king takes his knife and slices Coris¡¯s throat. Suddenly Coris begins to tremble as her limbs quickly extend to the point of being eighteen feet long. She stands up as her face changes and her torso fills out. Her skin turns white and begins to take the texture of rubber. Her two eyes unite as one, and each begins to glow deep red. It¡¯s obvious now that this isn¡¯t Coris, but some type of humanoid type creature. It stands eighteen feet in height, but has a very slim build. It constantly makes unnatural grunting noises, displaying that it isn¡¯t of sound mind. The king finds himself in state of shock, walking back away from the creature. King Soto: ¡°What in God¡¯s name¡¡± The Captain hops up into the air flying toward the monster¡¯s face. When she is only a few feet away, the monster swipes at her with it¡¯s right arm and she flies across the room and hits a wall. Meanwhile, Enya is on the ground running toward the monster. She puts her right palm out and pushes toward the air, setting an orange rectangular piece of light. As she jumps up to her right to set another, the previous one begins firing a quick stream of laser-like bullets. The next one follows suit. Enya then leaps to the air as her body twirls. When her head faces the floor she sticks her hands out setting another piece of light. She grasps it and starts spinning on it like a gymnast. She soon lets go and she flies high up to the air directly above the creature. Facing downward she sticks her arms for a moment as they light up. Then a sizable orb appears in front of her. A second later, it shoots out a large laser right through the monster below and it decimates the ground floor beside it. Alistur: ¡°I welcome the cooperation madam!¡± Alistur charges toward the monster. He throws a string of throwing knives at it while it¡¯s distracted by the blow of the laser. The knives all penetrate its skin, and are vertically aligned. Alistur jumps on them and uses them as stepping stones to proceed to the monster¡¯s face. He hops on the last knife toward the monster¡¯s large eyes. Alistur pulls out a knife stabs it directly in the center. The monster lets out a loud scream. As Alistur falls back to the ground, Dark Prince is visible in the scene still in the same place he was at prior to the monster revealing itself. However, he has managed to transform his body in a manner of a bow and arrow, with his frontal face area being the arrow. Dark Prince: ¡°And here I was getting bored.¡± He snaps his head back as the front of his ¡°body¡± becomes a very sharp tip, like a spear. He then releases his ¡°arrow¡± and shoots himself across the room and carves right through the monster¡¯s body. The monster takes a step back as Dark Prince then proceeds to expand himself and cover the monster. Once the monster is fully covered, he begins to contract his body to crush the creature. As it looks to seem that the Dark Prince has succeeded, suddenly the monster¡¯s arm pops out of Dark Prince¡¯s sludge-like body. The other arm follows. Both arms grab Dark Prince¡¯s ooze toward the front of the creature and begin to rip it apart. Soon, the monster¡¯s eye and then face are visible. It continues to tear until it rips Dark Prince completely in two, in which it then throws both parts of his body separate ways across the room. One half of his body lands in a far corner, the other splats right beside Devonte. At the far end wall, toward the entrance to the room, is the Captain pulling herself up from the ground. She is approached by Shaska. On the other end, King Soto is now seen looking both flustered and angry. He looks toward his soldiers across the room. King Soto: ¡°What in heavens are you doing!?¡± The soldiers now have their full attention on King Soto. King Soto: ¡°Attack!¡± The soldiers let out a battle cry and begin to charge toward the monster. As the creature begins to step forward, Enya is seen hopping on self put platforms in the air, assumingly trying to set up another laser cannon. The creature doesn¡¯t seem to pay her any mind, when suddenly its left arm snaps back and hit her out of the air to the ground. It then takes notice to Alistur who is running in front of it. He readies six knives, one in each hand and two he is biting with his teeth. He hops up into the air, and midway through his jump is stomped on by the monster. Shaska is then visible as he hunches over to the Captain. He reaches for her, trying to pull her up. The Captain grabs Shaska by the collar and pulls herself up. The soldiers are then seen charging toward monster. The monster takes rows of them out often in one swoop, either by whacking them with its long arms or stomping them with its feet. The Captain manages to pull herself up. Captain: ¡°Why! Are! You! Not! In! Combat!?¡± The Captain punches Shaska twice who then falls to the floor. The monster is stomping on a group of soldiers. Its body then begins to tremble. All of its wounds begin to heal as its black blood begins to fade and the punctures left by lasers and blades begin to close. The monster begins to growl, as suddenly another one identical to it appears right behind it. As they both continue to walk forward a bright light appears behind them. They stop and glance back. Enya is standing under a dozen light cannons. They look just like the previous ones, but only this time they glow orange rather than yellow. Enya claps her claw-hands together, which results in the light cannons all firing at once. The sound of them roars throughout the entire room as the beams tear through the bodies of the monsters, as well as some of King Soto¡¯s men. King Soto stares with a horrified look on his face. Alistur is then seen running toward monsters in the same fashion as before. With one knife grasped in each hand and two in his mouth. He jumps up toward one of the large creatures and spins around. He opens up one of the holes in its stomach even more as he carves through it. He comes out the other side but lodges a knife in the creature¡¯s back right by the hole so he swinging in place rather than landing back on the ground. The other monster takes note and readies to punch Alistur. Just before it connects, Alisur swings up to the creature¡¯s chest. This results in the other creature punching through the previous hole Alistur was just beside. Alistur is now up in the air over both creatures, he pulls out many knives and begins throwing them at both of their eyes. The focus is then on the Captain who stands above a Shaska trying to get back his footing. The Captain looks to her side sees Romance walking toward the entrance just trying to exit the scene. The Captain grabs Shaska¡¯s head and turns toward Romance. Captain: ¡°You see ¡®em!? He ain¡¯t going to strike ya if you lower your guard! He¡¯s going to run!¡± The Captain then throws Shaska back down on the ground forceful and proceeds to run toward Romance. She spins in the air and lets out a kick, to which Romance blocks it with his elbow. The Captain attempts to kick his head with her other foot, but Romance ducks just in time. Captain lands on the ground and throws a barrage of punches at Romance. He manages to block and dodge a majority of them while taking the occasional blow. The scene then changes to Dark Prince who is still a splotch beside Devonte. Devonte watches the battles unfolding in front of him with awe. Dark Prince: ¡°You best be grateful young one.¡± Dark Prince¡¯s body begins to stretch back down to the floor. Dark Prince: ¡°This is all for you.¡± It is shown that Dark Prince has moved the part of his body that was split down to the floor directly below. He gradually has the part of him on the wall ¡°pour¡± into his lower half of his body. Once complete, he transforms into a large four legged creature, similar to a sabertooth tiger. He charges toward the two monsters, leaping in the air and landing on one of the monster¡¯s shoulder. Immediately he bites through their neck. As the other monster gets ready to hit, its arm is punctured by a wave of knives. It looks down to see Alistur running on the ground toward it, with two knives in each hand. The creature throws its arm at him, but Alistur swiftly dodges. It quickly throws the other with the same result. As it gets ready to lift up one of its legs, Alistur has already reached them. He performs a variety of slashes on the legs which brings the monster down to it¡¯s knees. Suddenly, a large beam pierces through its head. Enya can be seen standing on a set platform behind it. The scene then changes to Shaska who is kneeling down trying to keep calm. Shaska closes his eyes as he heavily concentrates. After a couple seconds the bodies of King Soto¡¯s fallen men begin to stand up and move. They ready their weapons and gradually make their way toward the two monsters. One is still wrestling with Dark Prince¡¯s sabretooth state, before it finally manages to grab him, pin him on the floor and extend its jaw to bite him. The monster behind him begins to wail it¡¯s arms as it continues to battle Alistur and Enya. A group of three, presumably dead, King Soto¡¯s men step toward the monsters foot by foot. King Soto takes notice and is taken aback. King Soto: ¡°My-m-my men¡¡± A moment later the monster that is pinning Dark Prince down takes notice as well. It takes a hand off of Dark Prince while keeping the other, and hammers into the ground at the group. However, each reanimated soldier is able to swiftly dodge as if they are being thrown around. After a dodging a few of the creature¡¯s attacks, they begin to move forward in the same eerily swift manner. One leaps into the air, another simply hops, while the other continues to run forward. The soldier who jumped high readies his spear as he falls and thrusts it straight into the monster¡¯s eye. The hopped soldier takes his sword and jabs it in the creature¡¯s chest. Finally, the running soldier who is carrying what looks to be a halberd runs toward the monster¡¯s arm and slices it clean off. The creature lets out a scream as it falls to the ground. Dark Prince manages to quickly escape, however the halberd carrying soldier is crushed under the weight. Dark Prince: ¡°I didn¡¯t ask for your help!¡± The monster slowly begins to pull itself up as its arm gradually regenerates. However, Dark Prince manages to expand himself and cover the creature''s entire face, presumably chomping away at it. The two soldiers continue on penetrating the lower body, and in the background two more are resurrected as they begin to stand up. The scene then changes back to Alistur and Enya who are in combat with the other monster. They both are doing their best in avoiding the creature¡¯s blows. Alistur: ¡°M¡¯lady!¡± Enya looks toward Alistur. Alistur: ¡°May I present a proposal?¡± The scene changes once again, this time to Romance and the Captain. The Captain continues to be on the offensive as she punches and kicks Romance, who in turn blocks and dodges the attacks. Captain: ¡°Since when you¡¯ve got so fast?¡± Romance lets out a wide smile. This angers the Captain who does a heavy sidekick that while Romance manages to block, pushes him toward the ground. As Romance attempts to recover, the Captain does an overhead kick, to which Romance narrowly dodges, and the impact results in several broken tiles. The Captain looks up to see Romance a dozen feet away in a defensive position. The Captain begins walking toward him. Captain: ¡°You can only dodge me, but not fight me. And by the looks of it your manikins are at their ends.¡± The scene changes to Alistur launching Enya in the air. She pulls her arms back as light builds up of a large sword beam. As the creature is ready to strike Enya, Alistur hops up as well. Enya quickly enters a defensive stance with the sword, to which the sword absorbs the creature¡¯s blow, but nevertheless still sends Enya flying back. However, Alistur is spinning in the air and cuts the extended arm straight off. During this the Captain¡¯s conversation with Romance can still be heard. Captain: ¡°Things have not gone according to plan. You¡¯re covered bruises. We¡¯re all still alive. And you are now known throughout here as a traitor with no allies.¡± Alistur quickly runs through the monster¡¯s legs and slices them once again. And just like before the creature falls to its knees, but not before attempting to deal another blow to Alistur, who retaliates by jumping into the air, dodging the attack, and then slicing the arm clean off like the other. The other monster can now be seen in the foreground, it is trying to cry in pain as Dark Prince continues devouring it from the top down and the zombified soldiers are hacking and slashing away at it. Captain: ¡°But not only do you keep trying fight. But you don¡¯t seem bothered by any of this. Actually you¡¯re the opposite.¡± The monster that is being preoccupied by Dark Prince and Shaska¡¯s ¡®minions¡± falls to the ground. It begins to wither and shrink to a relatively small skeleton. In the background we see the other creature with Alistur slicing at the arms as they are regrowing. Unfortunately, he can¡¯t keep up with the pace of regeneration. Captain: ¡°So why with the smirk?¡± The camera pans and it can be seen that Enya has both hands in front of her as she is surrounded by two dozen orange beam cannons that are ready to fire. Romance: ¡°Because I have already won.¡± As Enya begins to clap a large explosion happens at one of the walls. Debris flies across the room. As the smoke settles one can see a large hole in the wall. Outside one can see dozens of boats in the sea approaching the tower. They are filled with who look to be the Elder God¡¯s soldiers. In the sky are multiple Orocs who are saddled with other New Dawn soldiers. As the crew and others are startled, the Captain runs toward the hole and looks outside. Captain: ¡°Shit!¡± Upon closer inspection it seems that the ships are rigged with a trebuchet as well as a stockpile of trick bombs, which looks to be about a dozen each ship. Up in the sky the soldiers on the orocs also are carrying a bag with them. One can see them throwing trick bombs at the palace soldiers as they get blown to bits. The Captain looks toward her crew. She nods at them as a form of acknowledgement. They all head toward the Captain, except Alistur who runs toward Devonte who is still pinned down at the wall. The large monster is still present and is beginning to recover, yet none of the crew pay it any mind. As the Captain is about to jump through the hole, her eyes widen and she jumps back. Captain: ¡°Watch out!¡± Suddenly a large explosion occurs. Smoke fills the room and much of the ceiling caves in, crushing soldiers as well as the monster. Several bricks on the wall fall, including three of the bricks holding down Devonte. Only the brick that includes the knife penetrated on Devonte¡¯s right sleeve hold. However, as Devonte dangles in the air, his sleeve begins to rip. He falls the ground with a loud thud. He lets out a scream as it is apparent that by the height and way he fell he broke his left leg. He looks around very disoriented. The entire tower continues to shake, likely due to subsequent explosions in the surrounding areas. He soon begins to crawl but abruptly stops due to the intense pain coming from his leg. A few seconds later he is grabbed by a figure and is being carried at a sprint pace. He sees himself being carried passed the room and down the stairs as the palace continues to shake. The stairs feel unstable, but nevertheless his captor continues to run. Devonte looks up to see his captor, it turns out it¡¯s Enya again. Enya: ¡°Pay mind to your surroundings. You are desired, you will never know who will come for you and when.¡± As Enya continues to run a loud sound comes from below, the ground shakes violently and the stairs collapse. Enya keeps hold of Devonte as they both free fall to the ground. She puts her arm down and releases a beam of light in a form of a bar. She clamps it which results in her twirling around for a few seconds until she stops. She stays in the air dangling for a moment before she lets go, just to fall to the ground for a few seconds and repeat the process again. After the next fall she reaches the ground safely. ¡°Ground¡± should be used loosely as the ground is nothing but rubble and debris. She lets go of Devonte as she inspects the area. Devonte looks around as he sees that he is surrounding by four walls of rubble. A red light illuminates the area as Enya has a red orb hovers around her right arm. She proceeds to punch through the wall of rubble ahead, penetrating through it. She then twists her arm which results in loud crackles and pops around the area. The rubble around her arm proceeds to melt away. Enya turns to Devonte. Enya: ¡°Come.¡± Enya grabs Devonte and hops through the hole, over the molten residue on the ground. They keep running as the building continues to shake due to multiple occurring explosions. As they run through the hallway following the staircase, they see King Soto¡¯s soldiers fighting with the Elder God¡¯s New Dawn soldiers. Soldiers from both militaries attempt to attack Enya, but she dodges and counters them with ease as she continues running through the hallway. She can see the open door that leads to the palace¡¯s entrance. It can be seen that there are three guards standing guard at the entrance. Without warning, three gunshots are heard and bullets are seen penetrating their skulls. Instead of falling down however, their limbs begin to extend as they transform to the manikins as seen on the floor above. Enya speeds up her run, hoping to run past them before they fully transform. However, just she¡¯s about to exit, she smacks across some type of invisible barrier set on the door. She is punched back by one of the manikins. As she quickly gets back up from the floor, she sees all of three of them fully grown and heading toward her. [Scene: Romance can be seen twirling a gun with a smile on his face. He is standing near the boat docks in the entrance room of the palace where everyone entered from before. Many of the bridges above have collapsed as the entire palace continues to shake due to the onslaught of trick bombs. There a plenty of New Dawn soldiers around, and plenty of King Soto¡¯s soldiers who are seem to be dead on the ground. There are docked boats throughout the entire room, which presumably belong to New Dawn.] Romance: ¡°Damn I love technology!¡± As Romance turns around, he sees another boat dock. This one is different from the others, far more fancy and is painted pure black. Out of the boat comes the Sub Elder, followed by a small group of soldiers. Sub Elder: ¡°You''re transport is here.¡± Romance: ¡°I don¡¯t recall asking for transport.¡± Sub Elder: ¡°It¡¯s only courtesy.¡± Romance: ¡°What I actually recall asking was that once this building fell due to the weapons I gave you, you will give me what was promised.¡± Romance puts his hand out expecting something to be placed in it. Sub Elder: ¡°But the building hasn¡¯t fell, in fact it is still standing.¡± Romance let¡¯s out a smile. Another loud explosion occurs, shaking the entire palace. The New Dawn soldiers seem shaken, however the Sub Elder smiles. Sub Elder: ¡°Just a joke. Happy to do business with you.¡± The Sub Elder reaches in his pocket and pulls something out. It¡¯s the key that is so sought after and winded up in the mouth of Elder God¡¯s beast. The Sub Elder hands the key to Romance he quickly grabs it. Romance: ¡°It was pleasure. As he walks a step forward, Romance pauses and faces toward Sub Elder again. Romance: ¡°You do realize that all of the exits are closed off. No one can get through, including your troops.¡± The Sub Elder nods. Sub Elder: ¡°To our people, death is the greatest salvation.¡± Without warning, a spear pierces through the back of Romance and goes through and out of his chest. The Sub Elder and his men are all startled. Behind Romance is a visibly injured King Soto who is holding a spear. King Soto: ¡°If only I realized that death was salvation to you all, then I would have had me and my men do something far worse.¡± The Sub Elder and his men draw forth their weapons. However, they ease themselves as Romance lifts up his hand. King Soto: ¡°Tell me. Were you always allied with them, or did you go back on your word?¡± Romance let¡¯s out a short a laugh. Romance: ¡°I¡¯m not one for allegiance. I just do this for sport, that¡¯s all.¡± King Soto¡¯s eyes widen and he thrusts the spear further into Romance. After two seconds, Romance smiles. Romance: ¡°It is disappointing.¡± Romance casually walks forward as the tip of the spear sinks deeper in his body and leaves it. This stuns everyone in the room. Romance: ¡°Despite boasting so much of your power and people, taking your castle was quite boring. I expected better.¡± Upon hearing this, King Soto grinds his teeth and clenches his hands on the spear. King Soto: ¡°First you deceive my people, then you dishonor us¡ You will rue this day as I cut out your tongue!¡± Without warning, King Soto charges toward Romance who is a little over ten feet away at this point. Romance casually reaches in his pocket and turns around. He is holding up his hand in a flicking motion as he has what seems to be a drillbit clenched between his index finger and thumb. He flicks it at King Soto, in which the drillbit goes right through his head. Romance then gestures his hand in a calling motion as has his index finger rocking toward him. As King Soto begins to fall, the drillbit comes back around and goes through his throat. It then flies toward Romance, like a boomerang, to which he grabs it with his same index finger and thumb. Romance puts the drillbit back in his pocket as King Soto falls to the ground. The Sub Elder and his men are speechless. Romance: ¡°It bothers me. How did he even get in here in the first place?¡± Looking around the room from top to bottom Romance discovers an open door that leads to a walkway across the room. It¡¯s relatively small so it is likely a hidden pathway. Romance: ¡°...shit.¡± As Romance turns around he is kicked in the face and flies across the room. His attacker is none other than the Captain. She walks up to him in a visibly angry manner. As Romance recuperates he pulls out a drillbit and flicks it at the Captain who catches it. She pulls her hand back and flicks it behind her toward one of the Sub Elder¡¯s soldiers. The drillbit goes right through their eye. Sub Elder: ¡°The deal has been fulfilled! We have no loyalty to mercenaries! On the ship now!¡± The Sub Elder and his men run to board his ship as they begin to set out back to sea. The Captain continues walking toward Romance. Romance reaches in his pocket as the Captain leaps toward him. She lands on top of him and grabs him by the neck. She then runs, as she drags Romance along with her. She throws him against a wall and tightens her grip around his neck. Captain: ¡°Open your barriers.¡± Romance reaches in his pocket. Captain: ¡°Slowly!¡± Romance slowly takes what looks to be a grey key card out of his pocket. He puts out his index and middle finger and swipes down on it. Within seconds the Captain¡¯s crew begins coming through various exits. Alistur comes from an exit high up that leads to a broken bridge. He hops toward a wall and penetrates a knife through it. He then proceeds to slide down to the floor. Shaska is the next visible who seems to be right across from Alistur¡¯s exit, only about a floor or two below. He pauses when he gets to the end of a broken bridge, but quickly is assisted by six undead soldiers. The first grabs the ledge and lets his body dangle, as the next grabs his legs. It goes so on and so forth until a ladder is made. The Captain then turns her head to the door a couple feet to her left. She hears loud growls and other noises. Soon Enya, with Devonte on her back, charges out of their and to the floor. Captain: ¡°Close them!¡± Romance takes his same two fingers and swipes them up the sound of a loud thud can be heard at Enya¡¯s exit as one of the manikins has punched the barrier. The Captain looks around a bit more, and then inhales. Captain: ¡°Get out here now!¡± Laughing can be heard in the distance. Black slime oozes to the ground from the ceiling. It ends with the worm face of Dark Prince, who constantly cackles. Dark Prince: ¡°There is no fooling ya.¡± The Captain stays focused on Romance. She puts her hand out. Captain: ¡°The key please.¡± Begrudgingly, Romance reaches in his pocket and pulls out the key. He has it cupped. As he gradually moves his hand to the side to drop it on the Captain¡¯s, a tremor shakes through the palace which rocks everyone and has the key falling out of Romance¡¯s hand into the Captain¡¯s. She puts the key in her pocket. Captain: ¡°I will ask you again, where is Corsica?¡± Romance smirks. Romance: ¡°She¡¯ll be here soon enough.¡± The Captain punches Romance hard in the face. Captain: ¡°Where¡¯s Corsica!?¡± Romance: ¡°Do you take me as a liar?¡± The Captain angrily kicks Romance across the floor. As Romance recuperates, he reaches in his pocket and throws what seems to be jacks to the Captain, she dodges them and they land all over the floor. The Captain continues to walk toward Romance. Captain: ¡°You¡¯re not even trying anymore.¡± Romance smiles. Romance: ¡°Because I won.¡± Romance snaps his fingers. This results in a huge electrical shockwave behind all of the fallen jacks. The Captain turns around to see her crew on the ground and out of commission. When she turns back she sees a relaxed Romance with two jacks in front of him. He snaps his fingers to which the Captain is then shocked and falls to the floor. As she stares at the ceiling, trying to keep herself conscious, she sees Romance standing over her. Romance: ¡°I¡¯m surprised you aren¡¯t knocked out. Despite what you think, the reason why you can¡¯t move isn¡¯t due to the electric shocks.¡± Romance reaches for something. He then holds up one of the jacks. The shiny silver color is now gone, and instead it is a saturated red. Romance: ¡°The shocks are merely a method to transfer the deadly chemicals throughout your body. They disrupt most signals from the neurons, so you won¡¯t be able to move for a bit.¡± The ground violently shakes. Romance looks up toward the ceiling as debris falls. Romance: ¡°Not before this all comes down though.¡± Reaching into the Captain¡¯s pocket, Romance pulls out the key. He holds it up and stares at it. As he moves his other hand toward the key, one can see something crash into the Sub Elder¡¯s ship. Romance pauses. Romance: ¡°Perfect.¡± The boat capsizes, but ripples can be seen underwater. The ripples quickly lead toward the steps to the docking floor. Suddenly, Coris hops out into the walkway, and charges toward Romance. Coris: ¡°Motherfucker! Give me it back now!¡± Coris hops in the air with a kick. As she is inching her way toward Romance, he bends his back backward to avoid the attack. Coris reaches the ground and hops again toward Romance, attempting at punch, just to get dodged again. Romance: ¡°I don¡¯t wish to fight.¡± Coris: ¡°Shut up!¡± Coris launches herself toward Romance with another kick. He blocks and braces for it. The impact from the kick pushes Romance back a couple of feet. Just as he¡¯s about to stop, he is headbutted in the back by Zizi. Coris charges again with another kick, but Romance hops away. He then jumps back to gain distance on them. He looks toward Zizi. Romance: ¡°You two are never apart huh?¡± Zizi braces himself to run toward Romance. In turn Romance throws two jacks on the floor. The resulting shocks incapacitates Zizi. Coris: ¡°Zizi!¡± In a rage, Coris charges toward Romance. She let¡¯s out a punch, but he ends up grabbing her by the arm and pinning her to the floor. Romance: ¡°You¡¯re always running, and you always get caught. I don¡¯t understand why you don¡¯t team up with me? I have connections you won¡¯t believe.¡± Coris: ¡°Fuck off!¡± Romance: ¡°So stubborn, just like our love.¡± Romance smiles. Romance: ¡°Think about it. We¡¯d have the only obtainable keys. They¡¯ll be gone. No more being used, no more being abused, you¡¯ll be shootin¡¯ like star.¡± Romance looks at Zizi. Romance: ¡°He could come along too. You¡¯ll only be abandoning those you¡¯re trying to run from. What do say?¡± Coris is no longer struggling, she lays still on the ground. The entire palace still shakes, as it seems each rupture becomes larger. Romance stops putting pressure on Coris and releases his arm. As soon as the arm leaves, Coris turns around and bites Romance¡¯s fingers off. He lets out a scream and runs to the other side of the floor. Coris stands up and charges toward Romance. When Coris is about to strike, Romance gets in close and knees Coris in the face. Coris lays on the floor. Romance who is visibly angry, quickly becomes frightened. Romance: ¡°Paramour!¡± Romance is standing up as he has his bitten hand sticking out, reaching toward Coris. He stares at it and then puts it down his side. He turns around begins to walk. The palace then has it¡¯s largest shake yet, Huge chunk of stones fall, including one that blocks the entire entrance. Romance shakes his head. He takes the key out of his pocket and concentrates on it. Colored fumes begin spewing out of the key and surround Romance. Meanwhile, Coris can be seen attempting to push herself up in the background. Suddenly, another large tremor occurs. So much so that much of the ceiling caves in above Romance. He looks up and notices this and then looks back at the key. He manages to disappear, but just before the mass amount of rock and debris fall on him. Coris finally manages to stand up. Captain: ¡°Corsica.¡± Coris purposely ignores her as she begins walking toward what was the entrance to the palace. She looks concerned as she soon realizes that all of the exits have been blocked off. Captain: ¡°Corsica.¡± Coris begrudgingly walks toward the Captain. Captain: ¡°If you want to get out of here. You¡¯re going to have to do exactly as I say.¡± The Captain slowly turns her head toward Devonte. [Scene: It is outside and King Soto¡¯s soldiers are all but gone. New Dawn is currently throwing multiple trick bombs toward the palace, specifically focused on already exploded areas to cut deeper in. After a few seconds, the palace collapses in on itself.] Act 2 | Movement 1 [Scene: The screen is completely white. The sound of upbeat pop music can be heard. It sounds something similar to Katy Perry. The area is now visible. Devonte lays on a bed staring at a ceiling. The ceiling is light tan, as well as all of the other walls in the room. The carpet is a thick and is colored dark brown. The shelves are messy with a variety of items on it, and the floor is littered with around a dozen clothes. The room has two windows to which all the blinds are closed.] Devonte hunches out of bed to look at his cell phone. An alarm app seems to be on. The top says the time which is 6:41AM, the middle of the screen scrolls an artist and song title ¡°Riki O. - Make Dreams Happen¡±. Under the scrolling song title are the buttons ¡°Snooze¡± and ¡°Dismiss¡±. Without thinking of it, Devonte selects ¡°Snooze¡± and goes back to bed. A shot of an old clock face is shown. It is currently 6:54AM. The camera changes to a shot of the entire room. It is of an old kitchen and living room. The two rooms are connected with one another with just a knee divider separating them. The counters and cabinets are made of wood and are of a faded brown color. There¡¯s also tan wallpaper that surrounds the area with images of flowers. It too is very faded. The room could give the impression that one is trapped in the 1970s, not only due to the outdated designs, but also due to the appliances and electronics throughout the room. In the kitchen there is an old nobbed controlled microwave, a hung corded phone, and a clock radio. In the living room sits a large 36¡± CRT TV on a wooden shelf. Right under it is a duo DVD and VCR. The only thing that seems fairly modern is a grey laptop that sets on the reddish kitchen table. The table has a variety of open envelopes and papers. Beside the table sits an older black woman who seems to be well into her fifties. She is looking through a stack of papers from the open envelopes with her reading glasses. The TV is on and echos throughout the room. It is set on a church sermon. Devonte comes out of the hallway wearing a plain logo-less wrinkled T-shirt and blue jeans, and backpack. He looks very groggy. Older woman: ¡°Devonte.¡± Devonte: ¡°Yes.¡± Older woman: ¡°You¡¯re not going to make breakfast for yourself?¡± Devonte: ¡°I already got a poptart.¡± Older woman: ¡°When?¡± Devonte: ¡°I packed it last night.¡± Older woman: ¡°I didn¡¯t see you.¡± Devonte: ¡°A few nights ago I packed a bunch.¡± Devonte heads toward the front door. He peaks out of the door and waits a few seconds. He then begins to exit. Older woman: ¡°Devonte.¡± Devonte looks behind him. Older woman: ¡°You¡¯re going to school today right?¡± A bus pulls up in front of the house. Devonte exits the door without saying anything. The older woman shakes her head. Older woman: ¡°I¡¯m calling to get his ass out of here. Had enough of his shit.¡± [Scene: A bus is in frame and then quickly leaves. Devonte is in front of what seems to be a sizable high school. The school is made of beige brick and mortar. There multiple brown doors that act as the entrance to the school. To the side of the doors are large windows that climb nearly to the roof. There are aluminum letters hanging in front of the building spelling ¡°Hillside High School.¡± To the side of the school is sizable parking lot. Rows of students are entering the entrance of school, coming from both the buses and the parking lot.] Staring at the entrance, Devonte sighs and walks toward the parking lot. He passes rows of parked cars, which seem to stretch from being the most luxurious cars to beaters. At the end of the lot is a school aged boy. He¡¯s a bit on the short side and is Hispanic. He¡¯s wearing slightly dirty clothes and a baseball cap. Devonte approaches him. School Aged Boy: ¡°Where¡¯ve you been?¡± Devonte: ¡°I came as soon as my bus came.¡± School Aged Boy: ¡°Just got here now?¡¯ Devonte: ¡°Look at the time.¡± The School Aged Boy pulls out his cell phone. School Aged Boy: ¡°7:34.¡± Devonte: ¡°And what time do buses arrive here?¡± The School Aged Boy puts his cell phone back in his pocket. School Aged Boy: ¡°You made your point.¡± Both of the boys walk beyond the parking lot, and begin to cross the field beside it. [Scene: Sitting beside a highway and a backroad is a small house. It is very old and decayed with most of the former white paint peeled off. The grass is exceptionally long and there are no cars in it¡¯s gravel driveway. It¡¯s very apparent that the house is abandoned. The scene changes again to the inside. Trendy hip-hop music echoes throughout the house. The kitchen contains stripped off wallpaper, a rusted sink, refrigerator, and stove, and a floor with broken and missing tiles. There is a hallway with pink carpet with wood, nails, and debris covering it to the point of it being near unusable. The living room has the same pink carpet with multiple stains on it. There are an assortment of crates, both plastic and wooden, that are being used as chairs and stands. One crate is holding up a portable speaker system hooked up to an iPod shuffle, to which the music is playing through. Another crate is holding up a 24¡± LCD TV, with the other holding up a game console. In front of the TV are sitting two individuals. One who is a white male, average height with long hair. He is wearing a long TV shirt with BMX logos, and blue jeans. The other is a boy who seems to be of mixed black and white race. He light brown skin, an afro, and is wearing a Batman T-shirt and dark blue jeans. Through the windows one can see the Hispanic boy with the baseball cap looking inside. It¡¯s a bit difficult to see him since the windows are dirty. He leaves and seconds later a knock is heard from the front door.] The white boy in the BMX shirt pauses the game and stands up. He heads to the door to open it. The Hispanic boy with the baseball cap walks in with Devonte right behind him. White boy in BMX shirt: ¡°Why are you looking in here?¡± HIspanic boy in baseball cap: ¡°To see if you were here.¡± The white boy in BMX shirt shakes his head. White boy in BMX shirt: ¡°You¡¯re going to fuck us over one day Joe.¡± Joe: ¡°I¡¯ll be more careful.¡± Joe and Devonte sit on two crates about half a dozen feet away from the previous two in front of the TV. The white boy in the TV shirt sits back down in front of the TV and starts the game back up. The game is some type of co-op first person shooter. Upon closer observation, the TV and game system are hooked up to a portable battery system. After thirty seconds of silence, Devonte stands up. The white boy in the BMX shirt immediately pauses the game and walks to the hallway. Devonte: ¡°Charlie, what¡¯s going on?¡± Charlie: ¡°I just got done organizing everything, I won¡¯t let ya¡¯ll dirty asses fuck it up.¡±If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it''s taken without the author''s consent. Report it. Charlie continues on through the hallway. After twenty seconds, he comes back with weed wrapped in Saran wrap and a piece of aluminium foil. He throws it to Devonte who catches it with one hand. Charlie sits back down and restarts the game. Devonte takes out the weed wraps it up with the aluminium foil. He then reaches in his backpack and pulls out a lighter. He lights up and begins smoking. Mixed boy in Batman T-Shirt: ¡°Devonte you want to get in on this?¡± Devonte: ¡°Nah.¡± Mixed boy in Batman T-Shirt: ¡°Huh?¡± Devonte: ¡°No, Edgar.¡± Edgar: ¡°Alright.¡± Charlie: ¡°We¡¯re more than halfway there, let¡¯s just finish it.¡± The two continues playing the game for twenty more seconds. Devonte continues to smoke, while Joe stays watching the game.¡± Edgar: ¡°Devonte.¡± Devonte: ¡°Yeah?¡± Edgar: ¡°I thought your foster mom said one more missed day and it will be over.¡± Devonte: ¡°She always says that shit.¡± Edgar: ¡°You sounded spooked out about it last time.¡± Devonte: ¡°That was last time.¡± Charlie: ¡°He¡¯s paycheck, she¡¯s in it for the money, unless he really fucks up she won¡¯t let go of him.¡± Joe has his hand out in front of Devonte. Devonte glances at it and takes a large puff. He then hands the over the joint to Joe. Devonte: ¡°Has your mom said anything?¡± Edgar seems focused on the game. Devonte: ¡°Or your dad? Edgar?¡± Edgar: ¡°Huh?¡± Devonte: ¡°Has your mom or dad said anything about you missing school?¡± Edgar: ¡°I don¡¯t talk to them.¡± Devonte: ¡°It¡¯s been a while.¡± Edgar: ¡°I don¡¯t like to talk about my personal life.¡± Joe passes the blunt back to Devonte. Devonte takes another hit. Suddenly the music stops. Charlie pauses the game and walks up to the iPod and looks at it, and then unplugs it. Charlie: ¡°Shit. It¡¯s dead. Edgar, do you have your cell phone?¡± Edgar: ¡°My parents cancelled my plan. So I chucked it.¡± Charlie: ¡°Devonte, you have your cell phone?¡± Charlie puts out his hand. Devonte stands up and hooks his cell phone up. Charlie puts his hand down and looks confused. Charlie: ¡°Why didn¡¯t you just hand it to me?¡± Devonte: ¡°I¡¯m protective of my phone.¡± Charlie: ¡°I can see that.¡± Charlie sits back down and unpauses the game. Devonte scrolls down a series of playlists until he gets to the bottom one titled ¡°For Chillin¡¯¡±. He selects it and trendy hip-hop music begins to play. As Devonte walks to sit back down, Edgar has his hand out. Devonte hands him the blunt. Devonte proceeds to sit back down. Joe: ¡°So what we doing today?¡± Charlie: ¡°We¡¯re going to the scrapyard.¡± Edgar: ¡°You¡¯re car¡¯s still not working?¡± Charlie: ¡°It¡¯s the battery that¡¯s acting up. And Joe, it¡¯s going to work last time. I need you to sneak to the other side of the fence while I throw you goods. I see more people buying tires off Craigslist.¡± Edgar: ¡°Last time was lame. I just stood around the whole time.¡± Charlie: ¡°It¡¯s not my fault you didn¡¯t capitalize. I made $35 bucks.¡± Edgar shakes his head. Edgar: ¡°Not worth it.¡± Charlie: ¡°Only if you get caught.¡± Charlie inhales the joint. While doing this an enemy on the screen ambushes Charlie¡¯s in-game character and kills him. Charlie: ¡°Fuck!¡± In a rage, Charlie throws the controller in front of him. He proceeds to stand up and walks forward trying to go across the room. However, his foot doesn¡¯t go over the dangling power cord connecting the TV to the battery pack. He ends up tugging on the cable, to which the TV then falls. Charlie: ¡°Shit!¡± Charlie runs to the TV and picks it up. The screen is black and there is a crack on the bezel. He keeps hitting the power button but the screen doesn¡¯t turn on. Charlie: ¡°Joe! Do you have a TV at your house?¡± Joe: ¡°A TV?¡± Charlie: ¡°A spare TV?¡± Joe: ¡°No, my Mom only has one.¡± Charlie: ¡°Devonte-nevermind it¡¯s probably just old shit.¡± The room is silent as everyone stares at the TV. Charlie: ¡°Alright, let¡¯s go to my car.¡± [Scene: The group of boys are now walking alongside the road in front of the house. They seem to be a quarter mile from the house when they take right. After ten feet, they pass by some bushes in which a black 2003 Ford Escort hides behind. The boys open up the car door. Charlie in the driver¡¯s seat, Edgar in the passenger, while Devonte and Joe sit in the back. The inside of the car is filled with trash, primarily fast food bags, wrappers, energy drink cans, and cigarette buds.] Edgar: ¡°So where we going?¡± Charlie: ¡°To get a TV.¡± Charlie adjusts the rearview mirror and switches the car into drive. Edgar: ¡°Yeah but where are we going?¡± Charlie: ¡°I got a place in mind.¡± The car begins to move and then turns into the road. It drives off toward the highway. [Scene: The car pulls into a Goodwill parking lot that seems to be fairly busy. The four boys walk into the store. Inside the store is filled with rows of clothes in the front to back, stacks of books, electronics, and media to the right, and checkout desks to the left. The boys go into the right side of the store.] Each of the boys are rummaging through the shelves, taking what they find of interest. Charlie: ¡°Okay, I want to be in and out of here in no more than two minutes. Grab what ya¡¯ll like.¡± Charlie and Joe look through the games and movies section, taking any discs that interest them. Most of them are either sports games or action films. Devonte is in the music aisle and pretends to browse around. He occasionally looks back behind him where there are rows of books. Edgar doesn¡¯t engage browsing around and just stands in place. After a minute, Charlie gestures toward the others to take his lead. They move over to the large electronics sections, where stands one lone TV. It¡¯s a small pink ¡°Hello Kitty¡± themed LCD. It even has a small Hello Kitty doll sticking out on top. Charlie: ¡°Nuh-uh.¡± Edgar: ¡°A TVs a TV.¡± Charlie: ¡°We didn¡¯t come here to get one that makes me look like a fag.¡± Charlie looks around the store and sees two doors right across from him. They have little windows to see inside the room. In the room are multiple bins of freshly dropped off items. Charlie: ¡°Let¡¯s go in there.¡± Edgar: ¡°You serious?¡± Charlie: ¡°We¡¯re just make sure nobody is in there. There¡¯s more stuff and there¡¯s an easy exit. Two birds with one stone.¡± Edgar: ¡°I¡¯m not going in there.¡± Charlie: ¡°Fuck you Edgar.¡± Edgar: ¡°You can say what you want, but I¡¯m not doing it.¡± Edgar turns around begins to walk away. Charlie: ¡°Fine! You can walk home!¡± Charlie looks at Joe and Devonte. Charlie: ¡°I¡¯ll open the door and look in. If no one is there, we go.¡± The three boys walk toward the doors. Charlie opens it up and gives a quick look around. Nobody is in sight. He goes through the door in which Joe and Devonte follow through. The room is filled with multiple blue bins and various large items on the floor. Charlie: ¡°Fucking jackpot.¡± On the floor sits multiple TVs. But what stands out is a silver 46¡± Samsung LED. Charlie picks it up and hands it to Joe. He then looks through the bin by it. Charlie: ¡°Take what you want and go.¡± Rummaging through the bin, Charlie grabs another sports game. Devonte looks through a bin and sees two books that captures his eye. One titled ¡°The Assassination of Fred Hampton: How the FBI and the Chicago Police Murdered a Black Panther¡± and the other titled ¡°A People¡¯s History of the United States.¡± As Devonte picks them up, Joe looks at him. Devonte notices this and drops both books. Charlie picks up one more game, which seems to be a first person shooter. Charlie: ¡°Let¡¯s go.¡± The boys exit out of a door leading to a drive thru outside, where people drop off their donations. As they walk outside, Joe accidently walks over a hose on the floor, which in turn triggers a bell to ring. After a few seconds someone comes outside and sees the boys walking to the car. It turns out to be a staff member of Goodwill. Staff Member: ¡°Excuse me!¡± The boys ignore the man as they continue to walk toward the car. Staff Member: ¡°Excuse me!¡± Charlie opens the driver side door and unlocks the car. The boys throw the stolen items in the car and hop right in. Charlie starts the car and quickly reverses and then floors the gas to get out of parking lot. The staff member stands in the parking lot looking at the car. The boys drive back onto the highway. Charlie: ¡°Shit that was fucking close!¡± Charlie turns around to Joe. Charlie: ¡°Did you trip an alarm? I thought I heard ringing.¡± Joe: ¡°No.¡± Charlie turns to Devonte. Charlie: ¡°Did you trip an alarm?¡± Devonte shakes his head. Charlie: ¡°Did you hear anything?¡± Devonte shrugs. Charlie faces forward. Charlie: ¡°Fuck.¡± The car is quiet for a couple seconds. Charlie lights up a blunt. Charlie: ¡°Figures that Edgar would puss out. He just wanted a place to stay.¡± Charlie inhales and then exhales the weed. Charlie: ¡°Probably finally went home. Temper tantrum. He was never serious.¡± A few more seconds pass by. Both Joe and Devonte are silent, Charlie looks around at both of them and then looks back in front of the road. He holds up the blunt. Charlie: ¡°This is for me. I earned this. My plan, my car, my reward.¡± Charlie puts his hand down. He slows down the car to a red light. As the car is stopped, he inhales again. Suddenly the sound of police siren is heard, and a police car approaches them from the back. Charlie steps on the gas and runs the red light, he also rolls the windows down and throws the joint out. He only makes it two dozen yards before he is caught up in traffic stopped at a red light. Charlie slams on the brakes and runs out of the car. A second later Devonte and Joe follow suit. Charlie runs down the sidewalk along the street, as he turns he runs towards a shopping district. Joe follows him as he quickly catches up. The police officer hops out of his car and chases after them both. Devonte on the other hand runs the opposite direction toward a subdivision. As he runs toward a fence, another police car can be seeing approaching from far behind, but it is unsure whether or not they can see Devonte. Devonte hops over the fence and begins to run through various backyards of the houses. He keeps running and looking forward, as he hops over any obstacle in his path. After running for a few minutes straight he eventually stops to catch his breath. He looks behind him and sees nobody there. He begins to walk again across a wide field with the sun directly above him. Time passes by and the sun is now at a near 45 degree angle. It''s almost dusk. Devonte is walking through a new subdivision area that looks very much like the last. He is currently progressing in between two houses, which makes the immediate area look somewhat like an alley. Devonte takes off his shirt and airs it out. He looks at it and is concerned about the sweat marks. He puts his shirt on and then tries to tidy up his hair. He casually strolls out of the path and to a sidewalk. He stops with a concerned look on his face. He sees a police car in front of house just to the right of him. The house¡¯s door opens and it is of Devonte¡¯s caretaker who is holding a cigarette and is shaking her head. Caretaker: ¡°Goddamn worthless.¡± The caretaker inhales the cigarette. [Scene: The screen becomes black.] Distant voice: ¡°Why do you choose to be a coward?¡±
