The afro man shouted while tossing a bag on top of the counter. The frightened cashier hurriedly opened the cash register and put all the money in the bag. I hid behind one of the shelves. I knew better than to involve myself in this kind of situation but my superhero complex got the better of me. Careful not to draw attention to myself, I took my phone out. I took a second to calm myself and then started dialling the police hotline number. But I guess today isn''t my lucky day because just as I was about to hit the call button one of the robbers, the one with the red mask, appeared in front of me. Sh*t. I cursed my self. Bang!!! I felt an oozing pain on my left shoulder that made me drop on the floor. A hot liquid comes out fast off my shoulder. I finally understood it was a wrong move. This can''t be happening, I dont wanna die in here. This is bad. My body temperature dropped as more blood gushed out from the wound. The man approached me and took my phone that I hadn''t notice was already on the floor. He smirked and then slammed it against the wall. "You son of a b*tch!!".He kicked me on my lower abdomen and raised the gun towards my head. The pain intensified as the force shook my body. I tried to speak, but no words come out of my mouth. Seeing the gun in front of me, I know i will truly die. "What a sh*tty luck". I said to my self while closing my eyes. Life is trully short. Bang!!! I died. Ding! [Install Complete] Chapter 1: Worst Luck Chapter 1 - Worst Luck I stood up and decided to look around while collecting my thoughts. Later then did I realize that I was inside an old shrine? The place is quite wide. At the center of the shrine, there stood a strange tree. It was about 15 feet tall and fruits hung from its branches. I was curious so i decided to have a closer look. While approaching the tree, a white screen flashed in front of me.

I reached out to the closest fruit with my hand while wondering what it tastes like.

It was at the time that I noticed a three colored bars on the left side of my eye sight. It was a Mana, Stamina and Health bar! The HP bar is colored red and was located on the top followed by the Mana with blue color and lastly the Stamina with yellow color. "It¡¯s like in a game, this is insane!" I was happy for a moment thinking that my new life here must be exciting and also depressed at the same time. I remember that I was not that good in gaming. In my past life, my friends would always put the blame on me when we lost in a game. That was the reason why I am always the one who pay for the food every time we eat. I looked at the [Fruit of life] for a moment and decided to have a taste. Before I died, I didn''t even have a proper meal that¡¯s why I am so hungry right now. The fruit tasted like the combination of apple and pears which was very delicious. After I was stuffed, I started to experiment something. ''If this is like a game then maybe i can see my character page?'' I tried to recall all the information about games in my past life. I might be not good in games, but at least i know some of the basics of RPGs. "Character page!" Nothing happened. Maybe it¡¯s not the right command? "Status Window!" A white screen flashed. It was very disappointing. I''m thinking of dying again so that maybe, just maybe I can be sent to another world with a better start. Surprisingly, it only took one space. Maybe the same type of items stacks? Anyhow, i searched around again to find something that might help me on my journey. Since this is a starting location, this should be a safe zone right? Huh? I found something... A fountain! Losing to curiosity, i rushed towards it. My skill [Eyes of Truth] displayed the information regarding this fountain.

"Good stuff! With this I can run all day without rest not that I''m planning to. But how do i store it?" I opened up my Inventory and tried to directly store it. Surprisingly it worked. Not only that, it only took one space. Shocked by this, I stored gallons of it. Curious as what it taste like, i scooped some using my hand and took a sip. "Hmm, it tastes like........water, plain water." Strange. Not that I care about the taste but i really was expecting it to be delicious because of the [Fruit of Life]. But i guess there is no point on overthinking about it. Now that I realize, this shrine must belong to the God of Life. Two days since then, I decided to leave this place since I already found the exit yesterday. [Fruit of Life] and the water from [Fountain of Life] were already stored in my [Inventory]. I might never return here so I stored as much as I can .The [Treasure Box] was also taken, it might worth a fortune since it¡¯s made of gold, right? Changing [Hide Map] to [Show Map] in the [Settings] menu, I headed to the exit. There''s nothing shown in the [Map] beside myself so I sighed with relief. If a monster would really appear, even the weakest one, chances are I would run for my life or I¡¯m already dead. Thinking about it made my heart beat fast. I look up at the exit and found stairs going down. Right now, I''m resting on the side of the stairs. Then, torches suddenly lit up surrounding the room. I slowly faced back then was horrified on what I saw. Pile of bones were scattered all over the place, some were even stacked forming a small hill. Now I know what the strange scent is. Witnessing this scene, I felt my hair all stood up. I wanted to run but my shaking feet won¡¯t listen to me. I raised my head and looked into the distance. There, a throne made of bones can be seen. On that throne, a pair of red eyes was directly staring at me. The creature was wearing a full body black armor that gives off a demonic aura. On its right hand was a giant sword with a skull on its hilt. And what surprised me the most was the information on top of that monster.
