《Hayato the Chibi who became a Great Demon King》 Chapter 1: Hayato Hibiki Hello My name is Hayato Hibiki and this is my story on how i became the Great Demon King. It all started one night when i had a strange dream. I woke up in a dark place where everything is black as far as the eye can see. There was utter darkness and not a shed of light. I tried screaming but nothing came out. I even tried pinching my face too try and wake me up but didn¡¯t work. As i tried wandering this place, i wondered if i was dead. As the girl was about to get hit by the carriage, the boy suddenly pushed her out of the way and the boy got hit, knocking him out unconscious. *Back to dream* That event was the i only remembered. Then i saw a small bright light illuminating from a distance. I tried going screaming for help but my voice can¡¯t reach out. I tried going there as fast as possible but only to get swallowed again by the darkness. The light vanished without a trace, leaving nothing but utter darkness yet again. Then another light appeared, this tim i didn¡¯t hesitate and went towards it. As i approached the light i felt anger, sadness and dread coming from it. As i tried figuring out what was the cause i suddenly woke up. There, i was staring at a familiar ceiling. I then saw Saki in sleeping in chair next to me. It was home, home sweethome. I looked around my house and saw a man in white clothing standing at the door after opening it. "Oh, looks like your awake," He said, "Are you alright?" "She stayed up all day looking after you and making sure you¡¯re alright," He said, "All day?" I asked, "Yes, you where out cold for the whole day," He replied, "What?!" I shouted in surprise, As i shouted, Saki woke up from all the commotion. "Huh? Hayato you¡¯re awake!" She said, "Thank God you¡¯re safe," She said while giving me hug, "Hey Saki, you¡¯re choking me! Choking Me!" I said exaggerating due to Saki suffocating me, "Sorry!" She said, After that the man in white clothing laughed.He then introduced himself to me that he was a priest that was traveling to see the Pope and was sorry that the carriage he was riding ran into me. I thanked the Priest to express my gratitude. He then left the house saying it was quite alright. After that Saki said that she was tired and left my room. Looks like she overworried her self. I then went back to sleep to recover. Then when i woke up it was utter darkness again. No light and my voice as well. I couldn¡¯t hear nor see anything. Then after a few moments a light appeared. I went to it again and this time it banished the darkness around me with a bang. I can see the blue sky and fell the air. I could hear my voice again. But when i turned around, i found out that this is something out of a nightmare. I can see people being killer by somekind of Demon. His flaming sword burned the kingdom there was nothing i could do. Then a boy appeared in front of me. His face was covered with a mask and a hood, he wears all black and had a scythe in his back. He was ready to fight the demon. The demon was terrifying and huge as well, i couldn¡¯t see the reason why someone would risk there life fighting this monster. He then disappeared and appeared behind the demon. The demon was wavering from that attack. The boy kept disappearing and reappearing time to time between his attack and the demon. Moments passed and the boy was victorious againts the demon and here i am doing nothing. The boy then lifted his sycthe at me. I was suppressed for some reason and couldn¡¯t move. I thought to myself is this what death feels like. I didn¡¯t waver nor did i fear death in that moment. In a blink of an eye i was dead. ¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª I woke up from my nightmare and saw that it was morning. I went to the window and saw that the kingdom was still as lively as it is. I went downstairs and saw Saki preparing breakfast. Before she could notice i went and took a sit in the table and she looked behind with ''Something'' in her hand. "Ah Hayato, just in time for breakfast!" She happily said, "I made this just for you to recover from your injury!" She said while placing ''Food'' at my plate, "This is edible right?" I asked as i poked my food with my fork, "Don¡¯t you be picky know and eat it!" She growled, " I made sure to follow everything in the book," She said, "But some ingredients weren¡¯t available, sooooo i improvised~" She said, "I hope the ingredients you used wasn¡¯t poisonous" I whispered to my self, "I heard that~" She said cracking a her hands, Then a knock on the door broke the commotion and Saki went to get it. I think threw my ''Breakfast'' out the window. I then went to sneak a peak at Saki¡¯s panties when she was talking at the person at the door, only to get karate chopped in the face. "Ouch! What did i d-" I said before getting interrupted of the aura Saki is emitting, "What is going on here Hayato?" She asked, "What is? I replied, "This," She said after showing me a letter of warning, "The guild sent you a letter of warning Hayato, do you know what this means?!" She growled at me, "Don¡¯t worry about it!" I said, "I¡¯ll go there right know," I said, "Haaaa, fine! But you better go there or else!" She said cracking her hands, "Ekkkkkk!" I said running off to the guild. *The End* Chapter 2: Adventurers Guild Senkrad After running from quite sometime, I arrived at the guild and entered. There i saw many adventurers with very shiny equipments. I then went to the receptionist and asked where the guild master is. She handed me out a map and told me where to go saying ''Don¡¯t get lost kid''. I then took a look at the map and gived it back to the receptionist. Then told her that i memorized it and thanked her. I hate being called a kid just because i look like one i am not. It¡¯s because of this disease that i got for some reason. This disease is not lethal and only makes you look like a kid. Not that i care but still. Oh and also i memorized the map as well. I then went towards to where the guild master is. I reached the door and knocked on the door. Hope that Airlia-san isn¡¯t that angry. "Come on in," A girlish voice said, "Ah yes," I said, I then entered the room where i took a sit facing the guild master. Although her chair is the only thing i could see. "You are Hayato Hibiki am i correct?" She asked, "Yes i am," I replied, "You know why i called you here. Am i right." She said turning her chair towards me. There i saw a beautiful elf who has Red hair and blue eyes. "Do have any questions you would like to be answered?" She asked, "Yes, just one," I said, "What was my previous Rank?" I replied, "Your previous Ranking was S," She said, "Such a shame you has to be demoted to the lowest rank," She added, "Ahh yeah, t-thanks... i¡¯ll be going know," I said hopping down the chair, "Oh Hibiki," She said, "Make sure to do a request or else i¡¯ll have no choice but to exterminate your adventurers I.D." she said, "Yes Ma¡¯am!" I said, "I put my trust in you Hayato. Do not fail me." She said, I then left the room and went to th request board. All i see are extermination of certain monster, and gathering. "Hmmmmm this one seems easy, i¡¯ll take it," I said jumping to take the request of the board, I didn¡¯t take a look at the request i took and went straight to the receptionist table. "Hey, did you hear about the top notch receptionists?" A boyish voice below, "Yeah, i heard about them," Another boyish voice, There conversation caught my attention and went directly below and said hi to them. They didn¡¯t mind my appearance but they did aske who i was. I introduced my self and they did as well. There names was Alex and Aaron. They told me about the three receptionist that was top notch. As a fellow pervert i know how they think and i said that i prefer the airhead one. They think so as well and the three of us fantasized about them. Then i snapped out of my fantasy and said goodbye to the two. I made two friends today and it¡¯s only the beginning. *The End* Chapter 3: The Darken Arrow, Edward Forsycthe After saying goodbye to Alex and Aaron, i went to the receptionist where the beast-kin was. Her name is Rose Mary. She is a beast-kin and a Feline as well. She is considered the best of the three and also an airhead, but remains calm during her job. But has one flaw and thats Edward Forscythe. He is a mysterious man who has nothing to lose. Well thats what they call them him anyway. Edward Forscyte was found by Rose after traveling in the River near the village. She quickly aided him and took him at a church to heal his wounds. He thanked Rose for her kindness and said that he would be his bodyguard from know on. Rose was shocked and declined at first but he said it is a vow he made. And know he protects Rose from trouble makers in the Guild. Rumors says that whenever someone tried courting with Rose, they disappear. The day after that they reappear only to go to another receptionist. Everyone thinks it is his doing but i don¡¯t. Why? Well i happened to come across him when i took (forced against my will by Saki) in the forest nearing dusk. *Flashback few weeks ago* "This sucks!" I said whimpering around the forest with a stick in hand, "Why the heck do i have to walk in a forest!" I said, "That Damn Bitch!" I said Cursing Saki while walking deeper in the forest, As i was walking deeper into the forest, i felt something was watching me. Since i had no ways of fighting it, i proceeded to slowly turn left and made a U-turn. It didn¡¯t like it and pounced on me. It was a Wolf Fang that was stalking me. It pinned me down in the ground making me unable to get up and wounding me with its claws on my shoulder. Luckly the stick i had previously came in handy and i poked it in its eye letting me go and taking a step back. The wolf fang staggered and proceeded with caution. Then it howled. There, Three more wolf fangs appeared behind him. They where hungry from the looks of it and haven¡¯t eaten in day, but the worst part is im stuck in this situation thanks to that stinky woman! "Oh im sooo getting her after this one!" i said as i ran the opposite direction, The other wolf fangs started chasing me down. I was faster than them but there where Two of them waiting from a brush if i ever managed to get this far. Clever i give them that, but not enough to outwit and outrun me. "" I said activating my skill in order to boost my speed, But then one of them pounced in me. But i managed to dodge it in time, but, I didn¡¯t hear nor felt its presence. It was an Elite Wolf Fang. The Alpha made its appearance. The Alpha doesn¡¯t want me too leave, and its waiting for the others to catch up. The two wolf fangs are also with the Alpha since they where both the closest. "Looks like i have no choice," I said, bringing out a piece of paper and a pen. My appearance schanged to my original form with a puff of smoke where i am back to my previous form where i regained proper height, weight, strength, speed, and power. "Secret technique, " I said writing the word Ÿ†¤±¸¶ in the paper i took out. I took the paper and placed it in my palms. I clenched my fist where the paper was and crushed it. But the paper burned instead. Then i took a stance and waited for them to attack me since this technique is used only for defending. Moments passed by when all the wolf fangs are together. The one who shot arrow was a young man with white hair covering his left eye. His right eye was color red so his left eye presumably is also red. He also has pale skin, wears a red coat and has a bow. "Thanks man," I said my gratitude, "..." He stayed quite, "Ummmmm, ok" The moment lasted until another howled was heard. "Wolf fangs hunt during night time we must seek shelter," He said breaking the silence, "S-Sure," I stuttered, and i went back to my chibi form which he doesn¡¯t seem to mind. He offered me assistance from my wound but i declined and went with him. Night time falls and we managed to get back to the Kingdom¡¯s South Gate. Saki was waiting at the entrance of the forest and was worried. "Hayato!" She screamed after setting her sights at me, "Yo!" I greeted her, "..." "Why didn¡¯t you come back before dinner! I was so worried about you, and whats with that woud?!" She said while checking my wounded shoulder, "I had a run into some trouble with a few Wolf Fangs so i took care of them," I said, "Oh and also he lead me back to the Kigdom as well, There where some Wolf Fangs and Goblins along the way and where a little late hehe," I said, Saki was glad that i was safe and the man next to me bid farewell with a filck of his hand. "Thanks dude!" I bid farewell as well, "Ah! I forgot, What¡¯s Your Name?" I shouted at him, "..." He stopped in his tracks and turned around, "Edward Forscyte" he said, "Thats a nice name you got there dude," I complimented, "Names Hayato, Hayato Hibiki nice to make your acquaintance!" I said, "..." He made a smirk and turned around going back to the forest. "You sure he¡¯s gonna be ok Hayato?" Saki asked, "Don¡¯t worry he¡¯ll be fine," I replied, "You do know that¡¯s not a proper answer right?" She nagged, "Here we go again." I said as we both went to our house. *End of Really Long Flashback* The man who hunted Wolf Fangs since a few where burnt. Yep, that¡¯s a fitting title. Good thing flashback only happened in a ''Flash'' hehe get it? No ok ;-;... Joke aside, lets go to miss receptionist number three, Rose Mary. I went towards the counter where miss Rose Mary is and saw three thugs ganging up on her. I used my skill To get near them without being noticed. "Come on give us a discount already," "Theres plenty for everyone right guys," "Yeah, you would¡¯nt want this to happen you know," "Ah guys settle down please this has a logical explanation for this on why i cant give you a discount," I can¡¯t make out there conversation from here and i need to talk to her so i can do this request. I went to the counter but before i managed to do it Edward came. His Aura makes him look intimidating but those three thugs doesn¡¯t notice him. Edward looked at me and i waved at him. He ignored me and went straight to where Rose is. Edward stood behind the thugs and they noticed him. "Who are you?" "Can¡¯t you see where busy here!" "Yeah, shes busy dealing with us!" "..." Looks like Edward¡¯s angry. Edward and Rose looked eye to eye. "What you two lover or something?" No it¡¯s just that Rose was telling the whole situation to Edward the whole time and those thugs ignored them. "I see. Would you three gentlemen settle with your disputes or discuss if somewhere else." He said, "Huh? Who the heck are you huh?" He said while pulling out a knife and pointed it at Edward. The other two drew there weapon and pointed it at Rose. Rose looks very calm in this situation. There i decided to move under them since is still active. Edward noticed me through his peripheral vision making sure not to give my position away and making sure they don¡¯t look down either. I then took one of there ropes and tied there shoestings together. I then walked in a straight line and left the other end of the rope in the floor. I then tied the other end of the rope to a pillar making sure it was nice and tight. And once i gave Edward the signal he kicked him pulling the other two down with him, and with other end of the rope i grabbed it and tied them all three together in a blink of an eye. Oh and also there unconscious since hit them in the head a couple of times "Nice goin parther!" I said, "..." He looked at me and Rose. Rose looked calm after the situation and one of the receptionist called the guards and told them there where three thugs that was making a ruckus at the guild and isn¡¯t leaving one of our members alone. That convinced the guards to look and see what was happening. The guards started asking people as witnesses and asked both Rose what had happened. She mentioned me but the guards didn¡¯t believe them and so they thought it was Edward. Can¡¯t blame them thanks to this disease and it¡¯s only the start of the day good grief. *The End* Chapter 4: The Noble After the guards are done asking questions, they decided to leave and arrest the three thugs that were still unconscious and left the guild. "Phew that was close, Thanks Edward!~" Rose said, "..." Edward nodded, "Oh and also, Ummm, what¡¯s your name?~" Rose asked, "Hayato, Hayato Hibiki!" I replied, "What a lovely name Hayato-kun, Im Rose Mary nice to meet cya~" She said, "Oh right!" I said jumping on top of the counter and pulling the request i took from the board, "I would like to do this request," I said, "Ah the Request the Noble wanted," She said, Noble? Come to think of it, what did he requested. "The request from the Noble are available for all the Ranks and will gather 300X Red grass," She said, "Oh and also the deadline is tomorrow morning~." She said, "..." Edward glared at me, Well thats a lot. I wonder what the Noble wants with that. The person who stood in the door was a handsome young man with his long silver hair glittering as he entered the guild, while two guards are beside him. He dressed in all white from head to toe. He proclaimed his name, This guy thinks his some kind big shot just because he dresses fancy. And by the looks of it he might be this Volumes Antagonist! Not that i care. He then walked towards Rose and slammed both his hands in the counter. "Lady how long will it for an adventurer to do my request!" He said, "It has been a week since i stated that and nobody is willing to do my bidding," He said, "..." Edward glared at him without being noticed by the two guards, Rose is looking calm like usual. I thought she would fret a bit and be in a little more panic. She is explaining the situation to the noble. Then the noble looked at me. "This kid is the one who took my request?" He asked, "Yes~" Rose Replied with a big smile, "Hmph! All this adventurers and you let a kid handle this situation," He said, "Whatever. Hey you," He said and glared at me, "You better get those Red grass by tonight, got that!" He said, "Don¡¯t worry, i¡¯ll be done by tonight!" I said, "You better be. Where leaving." He said while walking towards the door, "Looks like he left~" Rose said in a low tone of voice, "Yeah and what a bad attitude he has," I added, "Hehe thats not a way to talk to your client Hayato-kun~" "But he wont be my client once im done," I added, "He ordered another 300 Red grass a week ago," Edward said, "He¡¯s planning something with those." He said and went to the Quest Board, "Sure... Ah i better leave and collect those Red Grass, See yah Rose!"I said while waving goodbye to Rose, "Come back safely ok~" She said while waving her hand, This is just the beginning of my story. *The End* Chapter 5.1: Red Grass Roundup After searching for Red Grass in the forest for hours i have not found a single one. "Haaaa, i¡¯ve been walking for hours and i still haven¡¯t found a single Red Grass," I said to myself, As i walked even deeper in the forest i found Edward. He looked like he was setting up a trap. I then went towards him and said hello. "Yo Edward!" I said waving towards him, "..." He looked at my direction and simply ignored me, "Still ignoring me i see," I said being a little irritated, "Any ways, what thats?" I asked, "..." He stood up and explained it to me, "It¡¯s a trap that captures anything that step on it," He said, "I placed Red Grass in the center in order for it to attract Wolf Fangs," He added, I whistled and went towards it. I figured that Edward¡¯s the type who plans things put before putting them in action. Edward waved at me and went deeper in the forest, As i was exited from what Edward told me, i immediately ran towards the kingdom and went home. Saki asked what had happened from the guild and i simply said that i had a job at midnight! Saki was happy to learn about this and said not to cause any trouble and i went upstairs preparing for tonight. *Tonight* After leaving the house and heading straight towards the forest, i stopped for a second and checked if i brought everything. "Magic bag check, two daggers check, notebook and a pen check, Two smoke bombs check, Saki¡¯s panties... Check," I said to myself, "Hehehe i got her this time, by know she¡¯s probably panicking hehehe," I said in a low tone of voice and made a devilish smirk, Take that you bitch! I then proceeded towards my destination the Forest near the kingdom. Technically the forest is literally the southgate of the kingdom making it a nice farming location for newbie adventurers. Not that i care since i can take care of myself pretty well. "Looks like got everything i need for this night, and tomorrow¡¯s the deadlin so i better get going!" I said after entering the forest. "The night is till young so i better get cracking!" I said while running towards the forest. *To Be Continued* Chapter 5.2: Red Grass Roundup As i walk through the forest i saw something shining from a distance. "That must be a Red Grass," I said to myself, "Looks like i found my first Red Grass of the night!" I said to myself running towards the Red Grass, As i grabbed and stuffed it in my magic bag with infinite capacity to store anything which even i was surprised that i even have, went to find even more Red Grass. But things didn¡¯t look easy as the Wolf Fangs are attractive to the sent of Red Gras which getting one is harder than it looks, but when inside the Magic Bag i have they won¡¯t smell it at all. As i keep on collecting more and more Red Grass and writing each one i collect in my notebook, more and more Wolf Fangs are appearing.It¡¯s only a matter of time before i have to fight a Wolf Fang and i sure don¡¯t want a fight in this current situation since Wolf Fangs are very active during a Full Moon. While Exploring the Forest with Glee and a bit of annoyance, i found one of Edwards traps. It has caught a Wolf Fang and looks like it wants to break free but the aroma the Red Grass produces kept the Wolf Fangs docile. I simply ignored and continued my search. For sometime i found more and more Red Grass and lesser Wolf Fangs. Thinking this has became easier i thought that something¡¯s going on but i simply ignored that and continued my search. I found more and more of Edwrads Traps and a Wolf Fangs or two is caught and i simply ignored them and went back to searching and gathering like im supposed to do and i want to sleep. "Looks like this is the hundredth Red Grass," I said to myself as i put the Red Grass in my Magic bag and writing down the number in the notebook, "And Two-Hundred more to go... great," I said to myself, As i continued my search for Red Grass even deeper in the Forest i found another one of Edwards traps. Since Red Grass glows during Full moon avoiding Edward¡¯s trap was easy butsurprisingly, this trap wasn¡¯t attracting any Wolf Fangs. "Weird, this is supposed to work but it hasn¡¯t caught anything," I said to myself, "Meh, not that i care," I said to myself while proceeding to continue my search, As i went even deeper in the Forest i found more and more Red Grass and more Wolf Fangs as well. Im amazed that this part of the Forest is where high level monster live, maybe someone was here and took care of them for a request.Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon. Then the only thing that i don¡¯t want to happen happened. I felt an ominous presence behind me. It was Ogre. The Ogre wasn¡¯t looking at me nor did it notice me... Probably. Even if it¡¯s a little late, maybe a while late, or even too late i used it since he might not notice me. Then he looked at me. I knew i shouldn¡¯t have done that. As the Ogre and i stared at each other the moment was broken when the Ogre simply ignored me and went to wherever he was going to to. Phew, lucky me. As the Ogre walked towards where he was going i went to the opposite direction. Good thing that Ogre had something important to attend. When the Ogre was finally away from me, i continued my original purpose here and gather even MORE Res Grass... this night is just dreadful in many so many ways... haaaa, maybe i shouldn¡¯t have taken this request. ¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª¡ª "Finally Im all done," I said to myself, "Thank God i can finally leave this forest," I said to myself, "And i should be able to head home since this part of the forest isn¡¯t that dangerous and deep," I said to myself as i went outside the Forest, When i was near the entrance of the forest i heard a dog squeal. It suprised me at first but quickly went towards the direction i heard it from. There i see Three masked men with a Wolf Fang that was fully armored and one man was trying to attach muzzle to the Wolf Fang. "Tsk this damn dog!" The first man said kicking the Wolf Fang in the face, "Shut it! We don¡¯t any attention and we¡¯re running out of time," The second man said looking around him, "C¡¯mon, whats the fun in that? I wanted to at least kill someone before leaving this place," The third man said after pulling out a knife and throwing it at a three. The three was clearly planning something with that Wolf Fang, and by the looks of it, it¡¯s hot them who thought of this. It was planned by someone else. As the man was done attaching the muzzle to the Wolf Fangs all three went deeper into the forest. Great, my first enemys.
