    Today I am to teach my younger sister which surprised me and her. She is only a few days old and can already speak fluently. Yes, it''s true. We demons go through Infancy faster but still, she shouldn''t be able to talk as well as she does. This made my mother appraiseher which usually doesn''t happen much due to there not being any reason to. It''s confusing but apparently, she has a few skills already we don''t know what they are but we can assume one of them is for language.

    The lesson from brother took forever. I understand I''m smart and all but come on we didn''t even take a break. To summarize the lesson the human kingdoms have been at war with us for as long as history can remember. According to brother the humans immediately despised demons when we came into existence. Our mother the Demon Queen is level 274 making her the highest leveled person alive currently there was a hero who was higher but he died taking away levels from mother. I also learned more about the system in this world and my title, which by the way shocked everyone. Shalia is the goddess of power, death, passion, and love. I don''t know why this goddess blessed me but it''s a big deal, I can''t even figure out what the blessing does for me but my brother said I would figure it out in due time. Skills are leveled by practicing with them and getting more proficient in them. My family is weird but oh well I should start training my body and magic though. I will look like an adult in a couple weeks so I better get strong fast.


    I head out to the courtyard to practice magic I need to learn how to manipulate my mana so I can cast spells, I could also try and control the ambient mana as well.

    Huh, well that answered my idea of manipulating ambient Mana. But according to my brother who has this skill it just tells him that he can suppress his Mana and be more resourceful with it. Anyway, now that I can manipulate Mana a bit I should try making a spell but, what are my affinities?


    I headed back inside to find my parents but when I got to their room it was locked and loud sounds came from within so I had no way to enter. I decided to look for the archmage in the castle instead my brother said that the archmage had his own tower (Why do powerful mages always have a tower?). It took me an hour to find him. I had passed the tower several times(Oops).


    "Hey, Mister..." I just realized I don''t know his name.


    "Vancroft, Now what can I help the young miss with?" Nice straight to the point.

    "Just place your hand on this orb and I''ll tell you." As he said this he took out an orb that was clear.


    I immediately did as told and watched as the orb shone in a multitude of colors.

    After this, I headed to the throne room and went to the vent shaft. after climbing in I headed towards my moms'' room vent and watched and tried to figure out what she''s doing

She begged to leave already but we don''t even know what type of demon she is she is an Unknown Variant that can mean many things I just hope everything ends well. The human Kingdoms are joining together to summon a hero if she runs into the hero she''s doomed.


    After contemplating things for a While I just watch out the window in my room waiting for time to pass. And after nearly an hour I witness something terrifying, an anomaly appeared right above the road Sylvia took... Oh no, I hope she is alright.

    Oh neat that''s really helpful well I know to stay away from that thing. They look like an orc and octopus bred and this happened. Oh well not like that matters what matters is this... I can train here and become stronger than anyone back home, Then I can figure out a way to get back maybe that''s what void magic is used for. Vancroft said that only a couple people have been known to have void affinity yet they never did anything with it. They probably didn''t know what to do with it. Well if I''m gonna train here I need to find something to kill and find a fighting style that suits me.

    I have a good amount of meat and bone stocked up in the spot I''ve been staying at. It''s a run down house made of metal I don''t know what it is made out of but it left me with a place to stay.


    "This place is unsettling." so much so I''mtalking to myself. "Next I need to practice making a weapon... perhaps a bone sword would be good." I take 5 of the bones and put them in a stone bowl of sorts. I had learned by experimenting that the bone melts at extreme heat and that the container I am using requires even higher. Melting the into ingots took hours to accomplishdue to how many I made the ratio was 4:1 meaning four bones, one ingot. I ended up with 38 ingots meaning I melted152 bones. The ingots had come out grayish and smooth


    As I heated 6 of the ingots I started a making leather strip out of leather I found. After making the strip and ignoring a notification I head to my makeshift forge and anvil and take out 4 of the ingots from the forge start hammering them making a short sword blade. after doing that I grab the remainingingots and make a hiltfor the blade creating a casual sword I then use the leather to wrap the handle to improve my grip.If you come across this story on Amazon, be aware that it has been stolen from Royal Road.     "YES!!!" I ended up shouting out loud after all this info I feel so overjoyed. I think I am going to go hunt now.


    I found it an Oraic higher level than me by nearly 40 levels. I slowly sneak towards It brandishing my blade going behind it. The Oraic was feasting upon some carcass giving me the perfect chance to deal some damage. I crept up behind it and slashedwith my sword cutting off two of the eighttentacles. This caused it to be enraged so it spat out some form of acid at my face dodging to the left with a little bit getting on my sword and most on the ground I still got some on me.


    ''good thing most of that hit the ground, judging by how the ground is dissolving...'' I think this is going to be harder than I anticipated. I charge towards the Oraic as it lunges its remaining six tentacles at me. I swerve in between them and slice at its neck, successfully cutting its throat. As it bleeds out it seems to go berserk and tries to launch acid at me but only burns it self as it leaks out of its wound.


    It was at this point in the battle that it started pulling its chest open, what ensued was horrifying all the acid in its body launched towards me leaving me with little space to dodge. So I used what little magic knowledge I had and made an earthen wall to give me more of a chance to dodge. After I roll out of the way if the acid I grip my sword in anticipation but nothing happens. It turns out that attack was a last ditch effort to kill me.


    "Well, that went well..." I say to no one. I head up to the new corpse and collect my reward of meat and bones.

    In the same land that Sylvia is in a person watches whilst creating a rift back to where she came. This person and Sylvia don''t know each other but will soon enough.

 Chapter 5: An Unfortunate Incdent

    "Oy Oyyyy OYYY!!!" Ah, time to get up is it... I slowly sit up and look towards where the voice came from.


    "Oy, Bro you have been sleeping for far too long" Sorry sis but that''s what happens when we vampires don''tintake enough blood.


    "Sorry Sorry okay jeez..." after saying this my sister comes and gives me a hug while crying.


    "Promise you won''t do that again, you need to take breaks while training from now on and drink some blood from our clans'' cattle."


    "...Alright" My name is Kai Hizurai, Hizurai is our clans'' name, my twin sister''s name is Yuki. The cattle my Yukispoke of are no cattle in the term of farm animal but humanoids such as Humans, Elves, and many others. My sister and I don''tlike the cattle they don''t taste well compared to strong warriors out in the world. my clan is an ancientclan one of the originclans but I will touch on that later.


    "Hey Kai" Yuki seems to be sad as she speaks once more.

    "W-when y-you leave c-c-can I come with...?" Hoh, so she wants to come with me... I wonder though why is her face red?


    "Sure, But uh I''mgoingto go get cleaned up" She blushes when I say this and leaves the room. I head into the washroom and clean up. After washing up I look in the mirror my white hair runs down to the middle of my back ending in black, my red eyes staring right back at me, my face that Yuki says is girlish I don''t believe her but oh well. after indulging in some much-needed narcissism, I head out to the grand hall area to join my family in a meal.


    "So what if the cattle are restless just beat th-" as soon as I walked in my family stopped bickering. My family here consists of my sister, my father, my aunt, and my uncle.


    "Greetings" I might as well get that out of the way."

    We quickly consume our meal and then head to our room to pack what we need.

    Yuki hands me her bags then proceeds to strap her sword to her waist, she is wearing a cloak over her generic leather armor. I store my gear and throw a cloak over my black trench-coat with golden embroidery.


    We head out leaving our clans territory after grabbing a couple bottles of blood. As we are walking towards the human country, a warp gate that I recognized pulled us into it causing Yuki to get upset.


    "DANG IT ZOLCDI!!!!!"

    The strange cloaked man now know as Zolcdi watched via magic as both Sylvia and Kai alongside Yuki were getting closer to each other. Zolcdi was a peculiarperson, after all, he is a dragonkin who likes to mess with people. The only reason he took Sylvia is thathe didn''tknow what she was, he took Kai and Yuki because they were friendswho liked messing with each other.


    Sylvia had reached level 50 while here, whilst Kai and Yuki''s didn''tchange they will meet soon and when they do a certain dragon is in for some blood drainage...

    Me and Yuki have been walking for awhile now towards a demon-kin we could sense their blood miles away. Yuki always quickly looked away when ever Ilooked at her... I wonder why, It doesn''t help I can''t tell what emotions people are feeling, for the most part, Yuki is the only one I sorta understand. After going around a monolith we saw her the demon girl I inspected her using [Blood Inspect].

    Ohhhhh goody, goody gumdrops. We walk up to the demon with our hoods down and are noticed right away.

    "Umm no not yet for starters can Yuki have some of your blood she is quite hungry."


    "Huh?" before she could say yes Yuki went up to her and bit her neck and slowly drank her blood. after she finished I came over and shared a kiss with Yuki in which she transferred some of the blood to me.


    "Alrighty then let''s go and knock Zolcdi around some again."

 Chapter 6

    We have been walking for hours now and it been silent on all ends besides the occasionalcreature.


    "Let''s stop here and camp." I say to Kai.


    "All right."


    We set let Kai set up everything and Iwalk to Sylvia.


    "I need to talk to you in private" Sylvia simply nods before walking off with me behind her.


    "What was so urgent you need to speak now?"


    "There is something I need to explain, I am going to die soon there is no way to stop it. My death will break the facade that Kai has, He isn''tactually a vampire it is a type of illusion, and- "


    "STOP stop stop, so he is not a vampire so then what is he?"


    ".....Well, I will let him tell you, or rather let him show you when he regains his memories when I die soon. But I will let him explain everything else." She nods to my response and we walk back to Kai. I don''t know what else I can tell her I can''t explain what he is or how he is like he is.Seal Status.
